jade i am begging on my knees ….. any time you are up for it …… it would make me very greatly happy to see something with a bombshell!reader x hotch <33333
The office is hot today in the midst of a ninety degree summer, and your coworkers have been forced to strip down to their lightest layers, the women in linen blouses, men with their shirt sleeves rolled up high. Spencer has ditched his sweater vest reluctantly, cooling himself with a makeshift fan fashioned from printer paper, and Emily huffs next to you at her desk, overwhelmed.
“How aren't you hot?” she demands to know.
You lean back in your chair with a demure smile. “Mind over matter.”
She rolls her eyes. “I shouldn't have asked.”
Hotch's office door opens. You turn in your chair to watch him appear —even Unit Chief's get hot, apparently. He looks flustered in the heat, pink-cheeked and hair skewed ever so slightly, the most unmade you've ever seen him at work.
You could get used to it.
He feels you looking, narrowing his eyes. You'd like to think it was playful. For Hotch, it is.
“Hot, handsome,” you say.
“I'm fine.”
“I wasn't asking.” You beam at him.
“Enough. You know the rules.”
He doesn't seem too mad, but he's right; you know the office rules. Don't flirt, don't start, and don't text him inside of work hours unless that text pertains to work itself. You'd started calling him instead —what are you wearing right now?— and he'd decided that text now meant any communication lest you find another loophole. You're pushing it.
“Ah, the rules,” you say, throwing your arm across your eyes in mock distress, before peeking under it to see if he's watching. He always is. “You know rules aren't made for people like me, handsome.”
“Stop it, final warning. Or I'll have you moved.”
He makes being his girlfriend very difficult. You roll your shoulders and drop the act. “Hey, I need to talk to you about something.”
“Afterwards.”
“No, right now. Please? It's important, I swear.”
He gestures for you to come up. You take the stairs and cross the landing to his office, where he's already stepped back inside to open the window even further on its hinge. There isn't much wind to breeze, but there is a palpable difference between his office and the bullpen. You join him at the window and let the barely cooler air fan your face.
“What's wrong?” he asks.
“Can you give me a quick kiss? It would really lift my spirits.”
He laughs somewhere deep in his chest. “No, honey. Now tell me what you wanted to tell me.”
“I have a doctor's appointment next week, on the 13th. It's a Wednesday. I was hoping for PTO, but I can take a sick day if that's not agreeable.”
Hotch gives you the side eye, brows gently furrowed. “Everything okay?”
“Wouldn't you like to know.”
“I would, actually.”
“Yeah, well, you'll have to beg for it. Not everything in life is free, Hotchner–” You break into laughter as he grabs your waist, not expecting it, your hips tender as he squeezes. “Ouch, you're kinda handsy, you know that?”
You sound beautiful like this, laughing as you talk, so happy it lines every word. Hotch pulls your front to his, arms crossing casually behind your back, his eyes expectant. “Tell me,” he commands smoothly.
“Because you asked so nicely, I'm just fine, but I've been feeling a little under the weather. I think I'm anaemic.”
“And this is the first time I'm hearing about this because…”
“Because I'm not allowed to talk to you at work!”
He rolls his eyes as you drop a considerable amount of your weight against his arms. Usually, Hotch would meet your eyes and say, You're punishing me for a rule created out of necessity, or something to that effect, but, despite everything that might say otherwise, he really likes you. Loves you.
“I know, honey, I'm sorry. Maybe we can… allot you a few texts a day.” He analyses your expression. “One a day.”
You squeeze his naked forearm and lift up to kiss his cheek. He stays completely still while you do it, beside the small stroke of his thumb where it rests on your back. “Thank you. I'll leave you alone now, or we might get caught fraternising with one another and lose our jobs. Oh, wait, that's not actually going to happen–”
You burst out laughing as Hotch once again squeezes your waist in warning, the hint of a smile on his lips.

A Piece Of Paper
Summary: You and Melissa have been dating for a while. Marriage isn't necessarily the plan. Who needs a silly piece of paper to solidify the relationship anyway?
WC: ~4.2k
Tumblr media
After dating Melissa Schemmenti, second grade teacher at Willard R. Abbott Elementary School, for about a year, the two of you decide to finally jump the gun and move in together. It took a bit of convincing on your end, but eventually, she welcomed the company and companionship that you brought with you. Living together didn’t mean you were married after all.
You’ve been living together for two years now, dating for three. It’s a nice situation to be in. Neither of you are particularly ready to get married, each of you for your respective reasons. The topic had come up when you moved in, and you came to an agreement that you were more than satisfied just being partners… life partners. The weekday routine of waking up together, occasionally showering together before getting on with your days, breakfast, heading to work, coming home to your person, and then relaxing before heading to bed and starting the cycle all over again is warm enough. But your weekends are always slow, steady, full of comfort and contentedness to do everything or nothing at all. This relationship that you have with Melissa is all you’ll ever need in life- married or not.
It’s a day where you have off and your girlfriend conveniently has a professional development day that, while you are still more than content with your lifestyle how it is, Melissa’s thoughts and views begin to change.
Because Ava doesn’t have anything against you (you would even venture to say the principal of your girlfriend’s school likes you), you’re able to enter the school during lunch hours and share a meal with your girlfriend and her coworkers. They all adore you, but it does confuse them how someone like you could be dating someone like the redheaded woman. You’re calm and level-headed, and they’ve seen Melissa in her fits of rage. Regardless, they support your relationship wholeheartedly and eagerly.
“So,” Jacob hums loudly as he practically stares down his two coworkers that he’s closest to. “Does anybody have any big news to share with the group?”
You just roll your eyes in good nature at the secondary education teacher. He’s always so nosey, but he means well. You steal another bite of your girlfriend’s lunch, despite the fact that you have the exact same dish in front of you.
Janine and Gregory each share a look, before the shorter woman breaks out into a grin. “We actually do have some news… Thank you, Jacob.”
Jacob looks quite proud of himself, and it’s immediately clear to the rest of the room that this was an orchestrated act.
“So, Janine and I were talking last night, and…” Gregory nudges his girlfriend.
Janine holds up her left hand, and there’s a sparkling ring sitting on her ring finger. “We’re engaged! We’re getting married!”
Immediately, the group of teachers erupts into cheers, shouting their congratulations. It’s all a bit hectic for a few minutes as everyone tries to get a glimpse at the rock before it dies down.
“Damn, Eddie,” Ava looks him up and down once she’s seen the ring. “If I had known this is what I could’ve gotten, I woulda flirted with you way harder than I did.”
“And I would have happily reported you to HR,” Gregory replies with a satisfied smirk. “But thank you. I did what I could.”
“As you already know,” the second grade teacher smiles and claps her hands together. “Abbott is family to us, so of course you’re all invited to the wedding. We haven’t set a date yet, but we’re thinking sometime next year?”
“We’ll all be there, sweetheart,” Barbara puts in warmly. “We’re all very happy for the both of you. What a wonderful step the two of you are taking.”
You don’t think you’ve ever seen Janine so excited, and that woman is always practically bouncing off of the walls with energy.
But then the naive and in love woman looks to you and Melissa. “When do you think the two of you will be getting married?”
“This is your day,” you tell her gently. “Let’s keep the attention on you.”
“But I’m curious!” Janine argues. “I mean… I would love to have a double Abbott wedd-”
“Yeah, no, kid,” Melissa cuts in. “I love ya, don’t get me wrong, but I would rather die than have a double weddin’.”
“Besides,” you say as you lay a gentle hand on your girlfriend’s knee. “We don’t really see a need to get married. We live together, we’re happy together, and we don’t necessarily see the need to have a piece of paper solidify our relationship. But we are truly so happy that the two of you have decided to tie the knot.”
The rest of lunch is buzzing with questions about the engagement and talks of what Janine has already mentally planned for what she and Jacob are describing as ‘the wedding of the century’. Gregory just looks at his fiancee with a love in his eyes that you recognize as the way that Melissa looks at you. Every once in a while, he will interject his opinion though because some of Janine’s plans are a bit over the top.
“Hun, we can’t afford that,” the man says quite a few times. “Not on our teacher salaries.”
His objections don’t deter her in the slightest. She just smiles at him and nods along, claiming she’ll find a lower budget option with the same amount of pizazz. You listen, quietly amused, while your girlfriend takes in the conversation around her. For once, she doesn’t offer up any sarcastic quips. You chalk it up to her not wanting to ruin the moment for Janine and Gregory, but what you don’t know is that Melissa is deep in thought about engagements and weddings, marriage. The way that you so casually explained that you probably would never be married struck a chord in the redhead. She almost sees it as a challenge now to get married.
After about fifteen more minutes of chatter, the teachers have to find their ways back to their classrooms for the rest of the day to prepare and go through the rest of their data while you have to find your way out of the school.
“I’ll see you at home?” you ask sweetly.
When your girlfriend doesn't quite respond, you set a gentle hand on her shoulder. “Honey? I’ll see you at home?”
Only then does Melissa seem to understand that you’re speaking directly to her. “Y-yeah. I’ll see you at home, mi amore.”
She kisses you warmly, and then you grab your purse and exit, calling goodbye to your girlfriend’s coworkers as you make your way out.
You’re lounging on the couch with your book in hand when Melissa comes into the house from work. She kicks off her shoes, and she’s practically straddling your lap before she even drops her bag on the floor next to you.
You kiss her back passionately before pulling away with a giggle and a rosy tint to your cheeks. “Oh!” you giggle out as she continues to chase your lips. “My love, not that I’m not enjoying this, but what did I do to deserve this greeting?”
She doesn’t answer, instead just kissing you with desire and hunger- she’s being greedy. You can’t do anything but give in to what she wants, but air quickly becomes a necessity.
Her eyes are blown wide with lust for you, but you know you have to get her to talk to you before you can do anything else. “Baby? What’s going on?”
“I’m just so damn in love with you,” she mumbles as she starts to graze your neck with her lips and teeth.
That’s all you need to hear before you allow her to lower you to a laying position on the couch, throw your book haphazardly, and have her way with you.
It’s a bit later that your legs are still shaking just slightly, but you’re clean and your clothes are back on. Your girlfriend just nuzzles into your hold, humming as she cards her fingers through your hair gently.
“My girl,” she whispers as she dots a few sweet kisses to your head. “Mine.”
“That I am,” you chuckle softly, still in somewhat of a haze after the mind-blowing couch sex. “What’s got you acting like this?”
“Just a day,” Melissa tells you as she kisses you again on the lips. Then she sighs. “Can we just call for delivery? I’m exhausted, an’ I don’t feel like cooking.”
You don’t quite know if she’s exhausted from the professional development day, or if she’s exhausted from the effort she just put in to satisfy you, but you hum and nod your agreement.
“Chinese?”
“Chinese,” you agree.
As you’re waiting for the food to come, your girlfriend decides that she needs to shower. You lounge in the living room, feet tucked beneath your figure, when your phone begins to ring. It’s your mother. Of course it’s your mother. With a heavy sigh, you reach for the ringing device on the coffee table.
“Hey, Ma,” you answer.
You can hear how delighted she is that picked up. “Hey, sweet girl. Just calling in to check up on you. It’s been a while since I’ve heard from you.”
“I called you yesterday,” you deadpan.
You can practically see your mother shrug into the phone. “And a lot could’ve happened in a day!”
You can’t help the laugh that comes tumbling out of your mouth before you begin to fill her in on your day. You tell her how you were off from work so you were able to sleep in, and then you went to Abbott for lunch with your girlfriend.
“Oh, and how is Mel?” your mother asks.
“She’s good,” you promise. “Tired after today, so she’s in the shower, but I’m sure she’d tell you hello if she were here.”
“Good. The two of you need to come up for dinner sometime soon. Your dad and I aren’t getting any younger, you know.”
“I’ll talk to her,” you promise. “Oh! You know what did happen at the school today?”
“What?” It’s clear that your mother is intrigued. She’s been to Abbott as a guest reader in your girlfriend’s class, and has therefore been privy to the redhead’s coworkers.
Melissa exits the bedroom, wet hair still clinging to her pajamas when she hears you talking to who she can only assume is your mother on the phone. Usually, she would walk right into the room, calling out a greeting as she takes her place beside you. But something in her stops herself, and she listens to your words just out of eyeliner.
“You remember Lis talkin’ about her coworkers, Janine and Gregory?” At your mother’s hum, you continue. “They got engaged. Wedding next year.”
“Oh how wonderful for them. Let them know I said congratulations,” your mother smiles into the phone. “Hey, when can I expect the two of you to finally pull your heads out of your asses and get hitched already? I want grandkids, you know.”
“Ma,” you sigh and roll your eyes. “You know Lis and I aren’t really planning on getting married.”
“And why would that be?” your mother pries, despite the fact that she’s well aware of the reasoning.
“Because,” you chuckle. “I’m in no rush, if at all. And Lis has done marriage and divorce before. She don’t want to get married again, and that’s more than okay with me. Besides, we live together. She’s practically my wife as is. Who says we need a silly little paper to tell us that we’re together forever?”
“All I’m sayin’ is, I want grandkids. And you could use the insurance from the school- yours is shit. You can only claim it if you’re married. And, God forbid anything happen to either of you…”
“Ma, we already have all of that sorted out,” you try to reason with your mom. “We’re in a place where we’re content. I wish you could be happy with how we’ve chosen to live our lives.”
“I am!” your mother protests. “You know I adore Melissa, but I want grandkids!”
“I can give you grandkids without being married, Ma. But don’t hold your breath. I’m in no rush to have kids, if I have any at all. And Lis is practically a mother to twenty five children as it is with her job.”
Something in your mother finally gets her to relent. “I suppose I’ll just have to move onto your sister.”
“Yeah,” you snort out. “You do that, Ma. Just don’t tell her I sent you her way.”
“Oh, you know I’ll be sure to tell you you sent me to her,” your mom teases you.
You roll your eyes. “How are you and Dad?”
Melissa sees this as a good opportunity to enter the room, with your mother telling you about her day and what she and your father got up to today.
“Ma?” she whispers. You nod, and during a brief pause, the redhead calls her greeting into the phone.
“Mel!” your mother grins into the phone. “How are you dear?”
“Just fine, Nel. Tell Rick I said hey too when you get a chance.”
“I will dear,” your mom promises. And then she’s off and telling you more about her day. She chatters on for a few minutes before the doorbell rings. It’s your food.
“Ma?” you interrupt her gently as she tells you about the chronicles of her canasta game. “I hate to go, but our food just got here, and I’m starving. I’ll call you soon, yeah?”
Melissa stands to answer the door as your mother reluctantly lets you go, but only after quite a few promises of calling her again soon- coming up for a visit.
The redhead is already sorting out your food from the bag when you’re finally able to end the phone call, and she looks to you with a smirk. “Just a catch up call?”
“Just a catch up call,” you groan. “Woman acts like she hasn’t talked to me in years when I called her yesterday. She says to tell Janine and Gregory congratulations by the way.”
Melissa nods and hands you your pair of chopsticks and food before grabbing her own. You gently drape your legs over her lap with a smile, and green eyes are rolled fondly.
“So, anything else happen once I left Abbott today?” you ask.
Your girlfriend huffs. “Yeah. Loads of bullshit, that’s what happened today.”
She launches into some story about Ava and the data analysis, how the way that they retained their reports was deplorable- a school to prison pipeline really. You can’t help but chuckle at the way she explains the details, loudly and with lots of emotion. Your eyes go soft as you remember just how in love you are with the woman in front of you. The way that she cares about her students and her employment so much is… she goes above and beyond, really.
“Oi,” Melissa nudges you. “I’m over here talking about the school to prison pipeline, an’ you’re giving me lovesick puppy dog eyes. What the hell?”
You lean up and kiss her sesame chicken stuffed cheek gently. “I just love how passionate you are about your job and your kids. It’s really admirable. I wish I cared about my job that much.”
“You know what else I’m passionate about?” your girlfriend chuckles quietly and winks at you. Then she wiggles her eyebrows.
“Jesus, Lis. Always thinking about sex,” you roll your eyes, but a smirk is evident on your face.
“You’re sitting here in booty shorts and a sports bra with your legs draped over me, and I’m not supposed to be thinking about sex?” Melissa challenges.
“We had sex before the food got here. Eat your dinner,” you roll your eyes once again as you pick up another piece of broccoli with your chopsticks.
The two of you finish you meals in relative silence as the television plays softly in the background, your girlfriend in her head and thoughts about what had been revealed earlier that day in the staff room, and then what she had overheard while you were on the phone with your mother.
It’s not much later that the two of you are heading to bed, and Melissa just can’t keep her hands off of you- and not in that way. You know that you were joking about sex earlier, but you’re both so exhausted you don’t even know if you could manage right now without falling asleep. Her arms are just wrapped around your frame as you brush your teeth, as you comb your hair and take off your makeup. Her chin rests gently against your shoulder blade, and you feel a soft kiss being pressed to it. She doesn’t detangle herself from you even as you make your way into the bedroom. The only time that she lets you go is when you crawl into bed. Still, almost immediately once you’ve settled under the covers does she attach herself to your side again. Her head rests gently on your chest, red hair splayed out underneath of her.
“I love you,” Melissa whispers softly.
You press a warm kiss to her temple, muttering out a soft, “Love you too, Lis,” before you allow your eyes to flutter shut and sleep to take you away.
While you’re sound asleep, your girlfriend stays up for some time thinking about everything that had taken place today. Is… should the two of you get married? Your mother made a few good points. She knows you want kids at some point, and being on her insurance would probably beat the shitty insurance that the district offers her. And God forbid something happen to her, she would want you to be taken care of- you would get the house, her belongings… everything. But what you had said was true- the two of you were practically married as is. You’ve been together for three years, you live together, you’ve been through good times and bad. You don’t need a paper to prove to the world that you love each other.
But… she finds that she wants that stupid piece of paper. Melissa realizes that calling you her partner, her girlfriend, the love of her life that she isn’t married to just isn’t enough. She wants to have the privilege of introducing you to new people as her wife, as Mrs. Schemmenti. And she can’t do that if the two of you aren’t married. Silently, she decides that she might just have to fix this situation she’s found herself in.
The two of you wake up in a warm and sleepy haze. Melissa’s arms are wound tightly around your waist, her face practically in your chest from when you had turned in your sleep. Your legs are tangled with hers, and you’ve never woken up so warm and light.
“Good morning,” you whisper as you kiss her nose softly.
She just smiles. “Waking up next to you everyday, it’s always the best part of my day.”
“Stop trying to charm me,” you chuckle. “You already got the girl, and there’s no way that my bedhead and morning breath is the highlight of your day.”
Green eyes are soft and full of love as she looks into your own. “I promise you, my love.”
You lean in to kiss her.
She’s clingy the rest of the day, like how she was last night. And while it’s not unwelcome, it isn’t quite like your girlfriend. Yes, she likes to touch you- she’s usually not all that far from you while you lounge around the house on a lazy Saturday, but today you can’t seem to escape her hold. And if you do, it’s because Melissa is up and getting you a cup of coffee, grabbing the television remote from the other side of the couch, or she’s draping a blanket over you when you shiver. But as soon as the task at hand is complete, she’s right back to you- arm draped over you, kissing your head, tracing patterns on your thigh as you read, just simply enjoying your presence.
You let her do this in silence- you don’t mind it. But it does confuse you. For the morning, you simply chalk it up to still being exhausted from the previous day, but even a time where she should be refreshed and back to her normal self, she isn’t.
Finally, around two in the afternoon, you can’t quite keep it inside of you anymore. You have to know why she’s acting like this, and without an apparent reason.
“Lis?” you crane your neck to look at her. She’s currently sitting behind you and massaging your shoulders as you watch television.
She answers by dotting a few kisses to the slope of your neck.
“Lis,” you repeat again, and you have to fight the moan that wants to come out of your mouth. Her hands and lips are almost irresistible. “Honey.”
“I love you,” she whispers against your skin.
“I love you too,” you smile softly and turn in her arms. “But babe, I gotta ask: why are you so lovey today?”
“Am I not allowed to spoil my girlfriend?” Melissa asks you.
You chuckle and kiss her softly. “You definitely are, but… I’m not forgetting an important day for us or anything, am I?”
“You think I need a special day to show you how much I love you?” she retorts.
You shake your head. “Well, no, but-”
“I love you,” your girlfriend tells you. “That’s all.”
You chuckle and kiss her again. Although you don’t believe her, something had to have happened to have her acting like this on a random Saturday, you relent. “Okay, honey.”
You let her continue to be clingy- it’s not like you mind it. Melissa is always so hellbent on showing her tough side, and you absolutely melt at being privileged enough to see the walls come down and her heart show. She continues to shower you in words of affirmation, and the look in her eyes is a look of love, but it’s different from the usual love you see.
The two of you are cooking dinner in your loungewear when she takes hold of your left hand. She brings it up to her lips and kisses your ring finger specifically.
“Lis?”
She just hums in response before pulling you in close and continuing to tend to the pot that she’s stirring.
“Honey?” That was odd.
Melissa looks to you. “What?”
“What was that?” you ask with a raised brow.
She smirks at you before casually replying, “I think your left hand might look better with a couple rings on it, don’t you think?”
“What?” Your jaw drops at her words, spoken as if she was telling you about the most mundane things in life, not marriage.
Melissa kisses the side of your head. “I’ve been thinkin’.”
“Clearly,” you chuckle softly.
“Can I admit somethin’ to you? Without you gettin’ mad?”
Your brows furrow. “What did you do?”
Your girlfriend’s hands immediately go up in surrender. “Nothin’ bad, babe. I just… with Janine and Gregory getting married, your words about not needing a silly little paper did something to me. And then… yesterday when you were on the phone with your ma, I may have heard you tell her I was practically your wife anyway.”
“You are,” you confirm. “But I know you don’t want the legalities of it all, and I’m okay with that- I told you that when I moved in.”
“What if- what if I don’t want just ‘practically’ no more?” she asks hesitantly. “What if I want it officially, and to be able to introduce you as Mrs. Schemmenti, my wife?”
Your eyes widen slightly. “I mean…”
“I’ll put it to you this way,” Melissa sighs softly. She pauses to stir the contents of your meal again. “When… when I married Joe, I knew it wasn’t the fairytale I imagined as a kid. So when it didn’t work out, yeah- it sucked. The circumstances made it suck a lot more. But… I don’t feel that way with you. I feel like everyday is a dream when I wake up beside you. You’re the… the miracle I’ve been waitin’ on.”
Tears begin to spring to your eyes at her vulnerable and meaningful words. “R-really?”
“Really,” she whispers as she kisses your head again. “An’ I’m not sayin’ we need to rush anything, but I… I think we should think about next steps. Ring shopping, an engagement, maybe a small, low-key wedding?”
You nod against her. “I- I think you’re on to something.”
When Monday rolls around and Melissa, now your fiancee, walks into the staff room of Abbott Elementary with a sparkling ring on her finger… well, she can only smirk.
“I guess I want that stupid piece of paper after all.” And then when she sees Janine’s face, she quickly adds, “And no- we will not be having a double wedding."

"God fucking damnit!"
You screamed as you tried to calm yourself down. Was it working? Absolutely not. But it felt good, right?
The phone rang a couple rings before the person you were not looking for, answered. "Hello sister!" Gross. The sound of anyones happiness, pissed you off right now.
"Jimin, is dad home? I really need him." You said exhaustingly. Please let your dad be home. You need him right now.
You sighed, "It's... just my car. It stopped and won't go into gear..."
"Hey, everything's okay. I'll come get you and check it out. I have someone who might know a thing or two about cars... we'll be there soon."
We?
"Jimin who is-?" Before you could ever ask, he hang up. Probably one of his buddies or a coworker. You honestly didn't care. You just needed to get you and your car home.
You just sat in the drivers seat holding back tears. This car is a piece of junk. Honestly. It's old, lots of miles, but you've done your best to take care of it. The thought of being without a car was scary. How are you gonna get to work? You guess you could rent a car. But that's a lot, and who knows how long you'd need one for. You could buy a new one, but that's even more money. Everyone in your family has jobs, and needs their own car. So you couldn't borrow one. Fuck.
Fuckity fuck fuck.
You didn't have much time to overthink more before you could see Jimin's car pulling up behind yours, off the side of the road.
Curse your brother for having tinted windows, and curse the sun for starting to set, because you had no clue who was in the passenger seat.
You hopped out of your car and popped the hood. You could at least do that much.
"Hey sis! You okay?" No. No I'm not.
"Yeah I'm fine, cold and anxious, but I'm fine." Not a total lie.
You walked Jimin to the hood of your car and gave him a play by play of what happened. He checked all your fluids, and looked at the engine as much as he could. He knew a little about cars, but not as much as your dad did.
You totally forgot about the person in the passenger seat. "Chim, who did..."
Oh fuck.
"Hi Y/N. Car troubles I see?"
You knew that voice anywhere. The boy you befriended when you were 9. The  boy who eventually became better friends with your brother, than you. The boy who moved away when he was 16, but still kept in touch with Jimin, at least.
The boy who turned into a hot fucking man, who is now standing in front of you.
"Jungkookie?"
You were sure your jaw was on the ground. The last time you seen him, in the flesh, was 5 years ago at Jimin's 21st birthday dinner. Sure, you'd see his pictures on social media, and what not, but not in person. Holy shit, is he even real?
Of course he is. Jimin talks all the time about him. Even though he moved, him and Jimin still hang out all the time. Usually they meet somewhere in the middle. He only moved two hours away.
"Ah, you still remember my nickname?" There was that stupid bunny smile. Stupid. Stupidly cute.
"Of course I do. How could I forget?" You flashed him a smile right back. How could you ever forget Jungkook? You only crushed on him for half your life. He was cute. He had always been cute. But once he became more of Jimin's friend, you knew your chances were out the window.
Jimin had one hard rule for his friends. "Leave my little sister alone." He loved being a big brother. He loved being your big brother, even more. He would do anything for you. And that includes keeping you safe. Especially from his friends.
As you got older, you understood that rule, more. Especially when Taehyung was around. Another cute friend of Jimin's, but an absolute flirt, and dare you say, playboy. All of his friends would flirt with you from time to time. Although, you didn't know if it was them actually flirting, or just trying to rile up your brother.
Before you could daydream even more about he man in front of you, Jimin caught you out of your thoughts.
"So, Y/N. Tell Jungkook what happened. He knows cars more than I do."
Suddenly you forgot your words. Jungkook was intimidating. He wasn't the boy you once knew. "I- uh... it was going down the road just fine, t-then, it started j-jerking and I pulled over and it wouldn't switch gears. And now it won't d-do anything."
That felt like it took you 3 weeks to say. You just explained all of this to Jimin in 15 seconds. Pull yourself together.
He just nodded at you, and then started looking over your car more.
God he was hot. You were kinda glad your dad didn't answer.
"It looks like it's your transmission. I'm guessing it probably went out, and you'll need a new one. I can look at it more tomorrow when I can get it off the ground and have more light." He looked at your softly. Surely that's not news anyone wants.
"I'd appreciate that. Thank you."
Jimin rubbed your back to calm you down, "Let's call a tow truck and get it home. Kook can look at it in the morning. He's staying over this weekend."
You sat inside your car while you called your insurance company to see if they could get a tow truck for you. Thankfully they could, and it was on it's way.
Jimin had walked back to his car to call your parents and let them know what was going on. You were just left with the sexy man in front of you.
Do you speak? What is there to say?
"Thank you again for coming with Chim. I really appreciate it. I was hoping my dad was home but... I guess you're okay too." Now what the fuck do you call that?
He chuckled as he looked at the ground, "I'm glad I could help. I'm sorry about all this. Car problems suck."
"It's all good. Had my fair share with this car..." You really didn't want to embarrass yourself in front of him. Anyone with a brain would have gotten rid of this car a long time ago. "So uh... what are you doing all the way down here?"
He stared at you blankly. God his eyes alone could ruin you. It was like he was in a trance. He didn't even blink. "Jungkook?" He stared a few seconds longer before he snapped out of whatever it was he was in.
"Sorry, uh... why I'm here... oh! I moved down here actually. Closer to work and I miss you guys." If there was any day light right now, you would see his ears are red. Something that happened when he's embarrassed. Kind of his way of blushing.
"Miss you 'guys'? You mean Jimin?" Surely just Jimin. He had long forgotten about you.
"No, you too."
Huh? 'You too'?
You gulped. There was two ways you could go about this. One, you could tell him off about how he obviously didn't miss you when he left and never really spoke to you. Ever. Or you could play into it and see what exactly he means by that. Before you could even tell yourself which one to go with, your mouth already spoke for you.
"Didn't seem like you missed me too much." You couldn't do this. You didn't even want to continue this conversation. You walked over to Jimin in his car and just listened to the phone call he was having with your parents.
Soon enough, the tow truck was there, and before you, yourself could greet the driver, Jungkook already had it handled. He gave the driver the keys and told him your address. He grabbed your stuff out of your passenger seat and waved the driver off.
"Here, thought you might want these." Again with a soft smile that could destroy you, and he handed you your bag, and jacket.
What the fuck was he doing? Trying to make it up to you?
"I could have done all that by myself. I'm not the little girl you once knew." You gave him the tiniest smirk. What the fuck were you doing? Surely he couldn't see that, this late at night. You walked off and left him while you got in the back of your brothers car.
Thank god it was dark, and you were out of distance, otherwise what Jungkook said would end it all.
"Guess I should find out exactly what that means, Miss Y/N."
He had the same smirk you had, only a lot bigger.

hello deery, back like i promised lmao
as much as i love silly goofy buddy dazai, deluded possessive and lowkey scary dazai is my fav 🙏 he's such a silly guy with reader, then turns right around and destroys their entire life. then hes like :O omg thats so horrible, so what im hearing is you have more time to spend with me? seeing as all your friends left for reasons unknown, your family wont even look at you. but dw, i'll never leave :)
BWHAHA im not good at this stuff, but your characterization of dazai is my fav in general, such versatility, we love to see it
have a great day :D
-🩵 anon
HES MY least FAVE TOO ugh 🩵anon you get me
“I’m sorry, lovely. That’s so horrible…” Dazai’s knuckles softly rub against your jaw, his skin soothing you as you try to halt your tears.
“It just— ” you hiccup, “ —just feels like everyone’s leaving me!”
The brunet pulls you closer, practically sitting in his lap as his hands move around your torso. “Shh, shh…” He gently wipes away your remaining tears, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I’m here, aren’t I?”
You let out an embarrassed chuckle before nodding. “You’re the only one. Not even my boss wanted me around, I can tell. It’s like she was waiting for me to mess up so she could fire me.”
“That’s not true…”
“How would you know?” The words were genuine, like you were looking for him to explain that it was the work of fate or your shitty coworker you always complained about.
Well, it's because Dazai was the one to get you fired. Your boss was too fond of you, something he simply couldn't have. Plus, work hours always took up your time, time that should be spent with him. Honestly, you didn't need a job, anyway: Dazai would be happy to provide for you and make you dependent on him.
Instead of explaining any of this, he pressed another kiss to your head before pulling you in for a tight hug. “You’re a hard worker. And you’re a wonderful person. If none of your friends want to be in your life, well, I do. So I guess you’ll just have to spend time with me.”
It’s his attempt at lightening the mood, you’re sure of it. A chuckle passes your lips before you can stop it, shifting in his hold so you can hug him back just as tightly. “You’re all I have, so now you’re stuck with me.”
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
oh he’s the worst i need him
he’ll cradle you so sweetly, telling you alllll the good things about yourself!!!
n when you get all confident and hey! maybe you are good enough, maybe you should look into making new friends! ones that won’t leave you so easily 🙄
well,
he’s there to remind you just how heartbroken your last ones left you. your very own flesh and blood cut you out so easily! maybe dazai is the only one who can truly love you for who you are.
he’s not saying it to be mean! he just wants you to know what you’re getting yourself into. he’s always been so smart, too…. well, you guess he’s right.
if you’re a bit more stubborn or masochistic, maybe you don’t gaf!!! put you back in the ring you wanna try again!!!!!
ugh. okay. i mean, dazai did so much for you... y’know, when you lost your job and he insisted let you move in with him, dazai was trying to be a good friend, but... whatever, if you don’t need him anymore than you can just get your own place. oh, you still haven’t found a job? well, since you’re so sure of yourself, you can just get a new one. you can be out by tomorrow, right? you know dazai would’ve liked to go out and make friends during the time he’s been working to keep a roof above the both of your heads and keeping you company after everyone left you. maybe he’s starting to see why they did, since you’re so selfish—
...
you decided not to go out!
that’s probably when he realizes he should begin moving your relationship along a bit quicker. he’ll flirt with you in the exact way he knows you respond to best (whether that's words of affirmation, teasing, physical touch, etc); he'll bring you back pastries and cute trinkets he saw on his way home from work… his courting is a little eerie, bc he also acts like you two are already dating???? "you're staying in my home, of course i assumed we'd be having dinner tonight. i even learned to cook your favorite— " like he 100% just assumes shit but it always works out bc . well, what else were you doing?
this includes sharing a bed btw. he probably started w having you take his and he takes the couch (a true gentleman) and then maybe he gets another bed and makes a guest room for you... but, well, since you both are so close and it's so cold in his apartment, maybe you can just spend one night with him? It Was Not One Night
if you catch on and reciprocate, oh he's over the moon!!!! his love giving him affection? oughhh.. you're staying in his room in his arms and he's just breathing you in, reminding himself you're still there... it'd be actually kinda sweet if he didn't orchestrate this whole thing
if you catch on (or don't lmao) and deny him? .............
desperate times desperate measures or whatever they say
he locks you in his room for mandatory cuddles, will not give you food if you stick to one side of the room and refuse to let him hold you, he starts pulling away and spewing words he knows will hurt you so you feel so alone and unloved only to turn around and love bomb you.... it's horrific tbh
i'm so sorry . just... go along w it for now pls ❤️
also i mentioned that he'd bring up how you don't have a job and he's the one working hard to pay for your expenses but he's just being a brat. he caught you looking at help wanted ads one time and pretty much cried in your lap about how upset he is that you don't feel his care is adequate enough and only stopped when you promised not to get another job
he's gross :( get out of there

you know the character trope - pretty much exclusively used for villains - of the woman who possesses the power to make any and every man around her fall in love (lust) with her, and thus she builds an army of slobbering man-drones to do her bidding? I often seem to have a similar effect, except only on men maybe 20+ years my senior, and instead of inspiring sexual desire I bring out their fatherly affections.
I don’t know exactly why this happens, but it’s been pretty consistent throughout my adult life, and especially obvious when I’m working in retail (and also during my summer at the optometrist’s office). it comes up a lot at the grocery store. I can think of a couple instances of this phenomenon off the top of my head, like the time I quipped to a customer that I had to do something ‘so I don’t get in trouble.’
“Pshh, that doesn’t happen!” said the guy behind him in line, immediately.
“Yeah, I can’t really imagine it,” agreed the man in front of me.
“All she’d have to do is smile and all would be forgiven!”
“Exactly!”
(Both older gentlemen, both being utterly sweet even while joking around. 😭)
Or, as another example - if you’re working in the last hour-ish of the day, you’ll see a lot of the night crew trickling in, and many of them will do a quick shopping run before they clock in, so at cash we get to know their faces. One of the night managers, Mark, is a very pleasant guy around my parents’ age. One evening I was bagging Mark’s groceries while my coworker Colin rung him up, and Mark glanced over and commented how much he liked seeing me when he came in. “Her smile just lights everything right up, eh? Don’t you think?” he asked, looking expectantly at Colin.
Colin, who is nine years my junior and did not know me well enough yet at that point to be 100% smooth playing along, initially just grinned, with a touch of amusement (whether more at Mark or at my own mild floundering at the compliment, I’m still not sure). When he realised Mark was looking for an actual response, he just chuckled, “I’d say so, yeah.” At which point Mark nodded, pleased to be in agreement, and paid for his groceries.
I do not know how I have this effect on people at 28 years old, even taking into account the fact that I’m often mistaken for younger. When I was an adorable (plus smart and polite - killer combo with the grownups) little girl, it made sense that dads loved me. Now? Who knows! I mean, I’ll certainly take it over being hit on, which I’m extremely grateful to say has never happened to me at work. The only flirting I receive is the silly and decidedly harmless kind that comes from grandpa-type men who are, sincerely, just being playful. These interactions aren’t the untoward kind - they’re more reminiscent, to me, of the way my own dad treats my female friends: respectful, fond and sweet, caring. The vibe is like, this man would probably be happy to give me some sound advice and a lift home from the slumber party.
But yeah. I very consistently bring out the fatherly/grandfatherly affection in seemingly any man over the age of 50 or so who has an ounce of paternal kindness in him. And I do so more than many of my female friends or coworkers do. Is it because I look so young? Because I don’t wear makeup and I dress more like a kid than a ~Grown Woman~? It’s true that in my head I’m little more than an overgrown child, but does that energy actually come through - in a positive fashion, no less - to other people (and especially dad types)? Do I just exude some kind of undefinable Beloved (Grand)Daughter vibes?
I don’t actually remember what on earth got me thinking about this tonight, tbh. But I had to get my rambles out, so here you are. This is my weird tiny useless superpower: I attract fatherliness, entirely without meaning to. I feel like there must be a way to leverage this ability, but I’m not sure what it is? Also I’d be a terrible supervillain anyway.

September 19th
Hey James,
Do you remember when we were younger? We never lived very close so we would call each other and have recap sessions where we talked about the people as if they were characters in a TV show. We made bets on who would last through each "season". Well, the last season of my life has been a high point for me. I still haven't caught you up, but I met some of the most important people of my life recently, and I wish you could've been there to see it. In March, my life started again, which is right after I met Will.
Will was ten years older than me. I’d never drank much, especially not during my relationship, but he did. I met Will in February when I started my new job. He was the first person I felt comfortable actually talking to, and I looked forward to seeing him every night  when I showed up to work. Will’s smile was contagious, and there wasn’t one girl at my work who didn’t have a crush on him. In the beginning, he chose me. Nothing ever happened, but we would joke around, flirt, and talk throughout every shift. The first night that I went out for drinks with people was in early March, before I’d gotten my first paycheck. After every invite, I would give a maybe and then go home. One night I was visibly upset, probably about something Daniel had said or done, and Will told me that I was going out with him that night and I couldn't say no. I told him that my first paycheck hasn't come in and he told me not to worry, just one drink and he’d pay. After four drinks and three tacos he’d bought me, he drove me home. I was drunker and happier than I’d ever been, and even now I think of it as one of the best nights. This began a series of nights out, drinking with Will and our coworkers, where he would drive me home as the bar closed every time. Once we got to my apartment, we would talk for hours until eventually deciding to get food together. I usually got home at 5am and fell asleep with a smile on my face and a full heart.
This was fleeting, and eventually he stopped driving me home, stopped sitting with me when everyone went out, and finally, after a while, stopped treating me like I was special at work. This was the first heartbreak I’d faced after leaving Dan, and it hurt more than I could deal with. I stopped going out again around May, and my life was suddenly very small again. It was only two weeks ago now that everything fell apart, the last time I saw Will. But that's not important right now, not yet.
As July began, I started hanging out with another fleeting love I’d have named Nora. After I stopped going out in May, I got used to my routine. I was mostly unhappy and very lonely, but I was familiar with everything in my life and that was enough. On July 8th, this changed and the rest of my summer became a fever dream. Nora had invited me out a few times before, but I’d always said no for one reason or another, because I didn’t want to go to the bar that everyone else at work would go to. Nora told me that we were going somewhere else and i could meet all her friends, so I became excited and said we would. Lots of drinks and lots of dancing later, I was happy again. I found out that night that Nora did cocaine, but I was just happy to be out and have people who wanted to be around me so I didn’t care. As long as I stayed away from it I was fine, and that’s what I did. She told me that the afterparty was at her friend's house, but I’d promised Dan that I’d see him later that night said I couldn’t. When Dan found out that some of the people we hung out with that night were men, he told me that I wasn’t allowed to go out again. I told him that we weren’t dating and it didn’t matter what he thought, and we got into a screaming match that night on the street. This was the night that I let him know we were over for good.
The rest of the summer, I hung out with Nora almost every single night, no matter what day of the week it was. We went to house parties, bars, and clubs. We drank a lot. When we finally decided on a few key spots we liked to grab drinks, I decided that I would drive us home. This was not something that I’m proud of, but I never had more than two drinks over the span of 4 hours if I was doing this, so I justified it to myself. Will used to always drive me home after drinks. Nora was friends with Will before I'd known either of them. Everyone was friends with Will, how could you not be? Will quit his job on July 29th and I still thought about him all the time. I was happy, and I was becoming a much more open person than I'd ever been. This was all leading up to two weeks ago, the high point of my life, but I wasn't there yet. There's still some more catching up to do.
This was the best summer of my life- crazy, fast paced, and full of music and drinks with friends. We could've had summers like this. When we were younger we would go to the beach and do karaoke at the local bars. We would run around as the sun set and stay up until the sky was so dark you could see all the stars. Nora reminded me of that, but she was fast and crazy and couldn't be slowed down. Sometimes, at the end of the night I'd go outside and stare at the stars for a moment, wondering where you went and if you'd be happy for me.
Staring at the stars tonight,

Aone-
                Today was supposed to be your 4th year anniversary with your amazing boyfriend Aone. However, that date idea had quickly turned to shit when you see your boyfriend at a booth with some other chick.
You didn’t want to jump to conclusions, because you were exceptionally early to this date, so you walk over, hoping it was a sister or some other relative.
But when you finally made it over to the table, your boyfriend looked like he had seen a ghost. Pale, scared, and he looked sick. The thing that hurt the most was the guilt swimming in his eyes. Eyes that were once only for you. Eyes that were always warm and welcoming, the eyes that felt like home. His once beautiful and bright eyes were now dulled, guilty and scared.
Aone felt like he couldn’t move. He was stuck in his chair when he saw you.
‘Our date isn’t for another 20 minutes... how could this happen...?’ He thinks to himself. Then he remembers what you had said earlier about being early for the special today. He curses under his breath and opens his mouth to make excuses, but that’s when he hears a sniffle.
He reluctantly looks up to see you crying, and swiping at your eyes wildly. His heart shatters and sinks to the floor and he immediately knows he shouldn’t lie, it’ll only make it worse.
“Baby i’m so sorry....” He looks down, not ready to hear your reply.                     “Was i not good enough..? What should I have done differently..?” You say in a small, hurt voice.
“No! I-” He was cut off by the other girl sitting in front of him.
“Bubs who’s this ugly little girl? She a friend of yours? Or what..she kinda smells a little..” She says in a squeaky, bratty voice.
“Oh, haha; i’m actually his soon to be ex-girlfriend! So nice to meet you!! And so nice to leave you ‘bubs’!” You say with a fake smile, and filled with sarcasm.
“Babe- do-” Aone started quietly, he always was so quiet and reserved. But he seemed so talkative with this new girl....
“By Aone! Bye bitch I don’t know!” You say oh so confidently, until you go to itch your eyes. ‘oh... tears..’ You began to cry harder as you realize you just left the one thing you loved most.

Goshiki-
 You and Tsutomu had been pretty distant after a fight you two had, and you wanted to go over and apologize to him because you realized you were in the wrong.
However, what you did not expect was to see another car parked outside of your shared home.
This fight you both had was because of some silly coworker jokingly hitting on you. You had known this person since you were little, so it was nothing new. They were also fully aware of the fact that you were in a committed relationship with Tsutomu.
So, who could be at his house? Was he really hurt enough to call a friend or relative for help/advice? Now you felt really bad, so you quickly make your way up the steps to your shared home and push past the door.
What you did not expect to hear, were muffled whimpers and Goshiki’s smooth, calming voice. ‘Wh-what?’ You think maybe it was something else, maybe it was Goshiki whimpering and sniffling and someone else sweet talking him. But once you walk into your bedroom....you shut down.
“B..baby,,?” You ask, voice small. You were shaking and trying your best to keep your cool and hold back the tears threatening to spill. “Whats going on..?”
Goshiki immediately whips his head around from where it was buried between someone elses thighs. But when he sees your hurt eyes and sad features guilt pools at the bottom of his stomach. He was with someone else, on your shared bed, in your shared home. This realization suddenly hit him like a brick, and he immediately shot straight up. “I-I can explain!!”
“Explain what? The fact you were pleasuring some random whore on our bed?? What else is there to explain Tsut- Goshiki?” You yell back, the tears from before finally breaking the barrier and streaming down your face.
Goshiki just stood there, shaken up and regretful, not daring to say a word, knowing it will make things worse. But you persisted and asked him again why he did it and he started to get annoyed with your yelling. “I was angry with your stupid fucking co-worker for flirting with you and smacking your ass and always eating lunch with you!! I wanted you to know how it felt!!” He yelled back, without thinking. Bad idea.
You were speechless to say the least. He did not just compare cheating to harmless banter between friends...did he? He didn’t just call your absolute bestfriend stupid...did he?
“Get out. Both of you.” You say, your tone stone cold.
“What..” Your ex says, his voice small and shaky, almost as if it was any louder it would shatter you.
“GET OUT!! NOW!!” You say, now yelling as warm, fat tears stream down your face. You were furious, deflated, tired, and so, so done. You thought you were going to be sick. You had trusted him, and here he was, with a beautiful woman, probably 10x better than you. And to think you were going to apologize to him.
“Baby... we can fix this! right? Move forward!” He says, not so confident or angry this time.
“What, so you can go off with some other bitch as soon as the going gets tough again? No. We’re over. Goodbye Goshiki, please don’t try to contact me, i’ll have someone come get my stuff.”
And with that, you slammed the door and walked out of the place you one called home.

Kita-
Kita was a simple man. He wanted 2 things in life: A family with you, and his rice fields to do well.
However he did not take it very well when you said you were not ready for a family, and he stormed out on you. That night you cried yourself to sleep, thinking about how you could be better.
The past month and a half, you and Kita have been pretty distant, and you have been preparing yourself for a family in any way you can. For example: Finishing the last of your extra studies, learning how to make extra delicious meals, even though Kita wasn’t ever there to try them, and you even started looking into parenting books. You just wanted to be the perfect wife for him.
So one day you waited for him to come home, ready to tell him the big news; you were ready to start a family. So when he finally got back, you told him!
“Babe! I think i’m ready for a family! With you!” You said happily and confidently. But when you saw his eyes widen in surprise, you didn’t expect them to also be oh so regretful.
“Y-you are..?” He asks, suddenly shaking. His stomach drops to the floor while his heart breaks simultaneously. You... you prepared yourself all on your own, just for him. And he knows he fucked up, getting some other girl pregnant, but he was so angry and sad he just.... it just... happened.
Just then, he gets a call, from the one person he really did not want to talk to. The other woman he got pregnant. He was so scared to pick up the phone, so you did. He froze. ‘No..! You cant pick that up...it will ruin us..’
“Hey! Shin! The baby just kicked! I hope its a girl.... Shin..?” The girl says on the other end, happy and excited.
“wh..what?” You say, confused. “Who are you..?”
“I’m his girlfriend! Who are you silly?” She says, still bubbly.
“I-” You start, and then hang up. It could not be. He did not get another woman pregnant, he was your baby, no one else...right? You slowly look over to Kita, hoping you didn’t just hear what you think you did.
He looks down, guilt and shame washing over his built figure.
“I’m so sorry... it wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did and I can’t just leave her by herself..” He says, voice gradually getting louder.
“So.. you couldn’t just wait a little longer huh...it’s okay, I hope you two will be happy.” You walked away after that, and just then was when Kita realized he was loosing you. He panicked, and reached out for your hand, but you were already gone, into the bedroom you both shared, presumably packing.
But it’s when he sees you walk out the door, tears streaming down your face, and sobs wracking you body, that reality finally shifted. You were leaving, and he was now responsible for a child that wasn’t yours. He was mortified to say  the least.
“Bye Shin, i’ll always love you y’know.. I hope your child is as beautiful as you.”

Lev-
Today was your birthday! And you were so excited to spend it with your beanpole boyfriend! But he hadn’t answered your texts yet, and your calls either. You understood he had a photo-shoot, but it was over hours ago, even his manager didn’t know where he was. So you decided to check his snapmap because you were genuinely worried??
But when you saw his bitmoji at an unrecognized address, you freaked out and drove there immediately.
When you got there, his car was parked in the driveway, and the lights were on inside. You could also hear the faint hum of soft music.
Lev was always so gentle with you, and he never raised hid voice or got angry with you. You loved that about him, how soft he was. When you guys first met, he was willing to take things slow, and wait until you were both comfortable with eachother.
He was always so patient, or so you thought. You weren’t ready for anything intimate other than kissing, and he said he was okay with that. But horny men will be horny men.
But you at least thought he could wait a little longer for you, his girlfriend of 11 months. At least those were the thoughts that flew through your head as you walked into the mystery house.
It was Lev, laid out on a bed with silk sheets, rose petals scattered everywhere, and Champaign on the nightstand next to him.
Well, more like next to the other woman in bed with him, dressed in red lacy lingerie and pretty makeup. The candle-light makes them both look so majestic, well they would if they both didn’t have shocked/guilty expressions on their faces.
Lev got up immediately and tried to grab your arm, but you shrugged him off.
“I trusted you, and I loved you, I still love you! But here you are, with another woman, on my birthday. Happy fucking birthday to me i guess.”
He stood there dumbfounded as you walked out, your confident facade breaking as tears slip down your rosy cheeks. Then, you drive away, knowing things will never be the same...

Lost self confidence
Anon: Can I request a lil one-shot where y/n has been on the team for a while and she put on some weight/starts feeling insecure about it and Gibbs helps her feel better? :> If not it's okay (Preferably a lot of fluff, angst & smut up to you)
Anon: Can I ask for a plus sized reader and gibbs please? I never see them :( Maybe someone says something about her weight when theyre working a case or something and he does the gibbs-legendary-elevator-conversation??? OuO
I thought those two requests work well together. Enjoy, lovely anons! ❤️
Warnings: punch, mention of blood, hurtful comments about weight

~~~~~
Your body changed. A lot. More than you like to admit.
You have been avoiding mirrors for a while now, but as you stand in front of it right now, only dressed in underwear, you have to face it. Your body changed and you don’t like it. Actually, you hate it.
As you look at your stomach that used to be flat, your hips that are larger, the celulitis… you can’t help but to think it’s no wonder you’re alone. Who could you attract, looking like this? Not many people and definitely not the man you wish you had. He has probably noticed how your body is different. Maybe before, you stood a chance with the man but not anymore. It’s a lost cause.
You put some clothes on and left for work.
You and your team are working on a tricky case, you are not impatient to get into the office today. But as always, you put on your best smile and pretend that everything is okay. Even though it’s most definitely not.
You skipped breakfast this morning - on purpose - but when you sit at your desk, you can see a brown bag sitting there. You look inside; donuts. Not just regular donuts, but your two favorites.
“Gibbs’s treat.” Tony lets you know.
“What’s the occasion?” you casually answer, putting the bag aside. It’s definitely a bad idea to eat them.
“No occasion. You’re just his favorite,”
You can’t help but smile at this. Not that it’s true, but it feels nice anyway. Before, you would have been happy about your boss’s attention, but not today. “Aren’t you going to eat them?”
“I’m not hungry. Do you want them?”
Tony grabs the bag before you know it. At least, you won’t have to throw them away.
You put yourself into work quickly after. You need to take your mind off your insecurities and how bad you feel about yourself. Tony tries to make casual conversation, just being his old self but as you barely answer, he realizes that something’s wrong with you. He just doesn’t know what.
“You’re staring.” You say to him, without looking up from your computer screen.
“You’re in a bad mood.” He states.
“Am not.”
“Y/N, please.” He stands up from his desk and walks up to yours. “I’m a trained investigator. Talk to me.”
“Not a chance.” You keep working, avoiding eye contact. You’re scared that he may read into you, or worse; that you may cry if he starts to ask too many questions.
“Did Gibbs get the order wrong?” He jokes. He doesn’t mean wrong at all, but it sets you off.
“Just-- leave me alone, DiNozzo.”
You practically jump for your chair, grab your laptop and walk away from the bullpen, leaving your coworker in awe. He’s not sure what just happened, but he’s more convinced that something’s really not okay with you.
You spend the next two hours hiding in the conference room. You didn’t work much, you mostly cried and felt sorry for yourself. You really hate yourself and your body right now. It’s not about gaining some weight, it’s also about how lonely you feel. You love your team more than anything, they really are like your family but when you get home at night, it’s just you. You and your thoughts. You and your loneliness.
You just want someone to get home to. Someone to cuddle, someone to love and who loves you back, someone to fall asleep with. Just someone.
You had your face buried in your arms when you heard the door opening. You look up, ashamed. Gibbs is standing here.
He closes the door behind him and walks to you. “You okay, Y/N?” he softly asks.
“Y-yeah. Just a bit tired.”
“You know, if DiNozzo pissed you off, you can tell me.”
You chuckle. “Nah, it’s nothing he did. I guess I got up on the wrong foot this morning, that’s it.”
Gibbs did let it go - for now - but you knew he didn’t buy any of it.
That is later's concern though, there is some news on the case and you need to get going. The afternoon went better; your mind was focused on the case, you didn’t have time to think of the rest. It’s only when you get back home that it hits again. Before taking a shower, you put a sheet on the big mirror in your bedroom. You don’t want to face your reflection for now.
*****
The next morning, you are in a better mood. Not entirely, you still skipped breakfast and avoided all the mirrors but you made a decision: you won’t let the team know. You won’t let them see you’re going through a tough time. It would only make things worse.
Everything’s going okay until that stupid lawyer shows up. You never wanted to see him again after hooking up with him over a year ago. He seemed nice and good looking, he flirted with you the whole time he was in the office, so when he invited you for a drink, you said yes.
Your agreement had something to do with Gibbs’s flirting with that shrink but to this day, you keep telling yourself that it hadn’t.
After a few drinks, you let the lawyer kiss you and before you knew it, you took him home and you had a one night stand.
The sex wasn’t the problem, you actually had a lot of fun. The problem was the next day.
He was gone before you woke up - still not a problem. But when Gibbs yelled at you for giving him some private information, you understood your mistake. The man had used you. While you were sleeping, he looked into your files and found the information he needed to save his client’s butt.
After that, Gibbs gave you the silent treatment for weeks. And he stopped being mad at you after you came to see him in his basement and did your mea culpa. No one ever talked about it since.
But now, the same man is standing in the middle of the bullpen. You growled to yourself before going in.
You don’t greet him at all, just sit at your desk. “Y/N? That’s you?” he says, apparently shocked.
You look at him briefly and don’t answer.
“My god, what happened to you?” he adds.
“Excuse you?” you snap.
“God, if you had been looking like this last year, I wouldn’t have been able to use you.”
His sentence feels like a punch in your stomach, it hurts. But it shouldn’t and you know it. But it still does. You stay there a moment, not knowing if you want to cry and beat the crap out of him. Probably both at the same, but you don’t move or don’t say a thing, you’re like frozen. You barely don’t notice when Gibbs pushes the man towards the elevator.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Ziva asks.
In the elevator
“Overprotective much, Gibbs?” the lawyer tries to appear confident and unafraid. He has his back against the wall, and in a second, he can hear Gibbs’s fist hitting a few inches away from his head. If the fist had touched his nose, he probably would have needed plastic surgery.
“Ever in your life, you disrespect a woman like that again, and especially--especially not Y/N.”
The lawyer made many people angry over the years, but never had he seen a man as angry as Gibbs looks right now.
“The only reason my hand is in this wall and not your face right now, is because she wouldn’t want me to get in trouble, but trust me when I say that all I want to do right now is to shoot you right in your precious parts.”
Gibbs is panting from anger. He can’t remember the last time he said that many words at once. But there’s no way that he or anyone else can disrespect you like this. Never, under his watch.
“So I’m gonna be very clear, you give that case to someone else. I don’t give a shit who, you just do it. And I don’t ever want to see your face again. Cause if I do, you’ll be so disfigured, you won’t be able to get another woman. Ever.”
“I could sue you for those threats, Special Agent Gibbs.”
“Are you planning to?”
“Maybe I am.”
“Well, in that case--”
This time, Gibbs’s fist hit the nose.
Meanwhile, in the bullpen
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Ziva asks.
“Yeah-yeah,” you clearly lie as your eyes are watering.
Your coworker isn’t buying it. She takes a step forward and hugs you softly. “Please, don’t let him get to you.” she whispers in your ear. “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”
Those words make you cry. You are not really buying them, but it does something to hear them. And you know deep inside that Ziva wouldn’t say something she doesn’t think.
As she keeps hugging, you can feel someone else’s arms wrapping around both of you. It’s Tony and shortly after, Tim is joining. “I think we should call Ducky. We’re going to have a crime scene.” Tony jokes to light the mood.
“I don’t want Gibbs to put himself in trouble for me.” you sadly say.
“Y/N, if Gibbs hadn’t taken him in the elevator, we would all have jumped on him.” Tim tells you. Which surprises you because Tim is the one to avoid a fight as much as he can.
“Also, the only reason I’m not asking you out is because of Rule 12.”
You are about to answer to Tony when you can hear the elevator’s doors opening. You let go of one another and watch Gibbs as he comes back to you and takes you by the hand. “Someone may have to call 911.” he tells the rest of the team.
Gibbs takes you to the other elevator, the one that leads to the lower floors, where Abby’s lab and Autopsy are. But of course, he switches the button as soon as the doors close. He doesn’t say a thing, he just hugs you tight. “Your hand is blue, Gibbs.” you cry in his neck.
“Yeah and his nose is red, who cares.” he kisses your hair. “I don’t want you to cry because of him, Y/N. And especially not because of what he said.”
“But Gibbs--”
“Not ‘but’, Y/N. Look at me.” he softly grabs your chin with his non-injured hand and forces you to look into his eyes. “You may not believe me right now, but you’re beautiful, Y/N. Sexy. Hot.” you uncontrollably shake your head, not buying a word he says. “I know I’m not the best with words, so I’ll let my actions speak.”
Gibbs ducks his head just a bit and closes the gap between his lips and yours. He softly kisses. You probably have never been kissed this softly before. Gibbs is so gentle and tender, his lips move slowly but expertedly. You’re literally melting under him.
The kiss may have lasted for minutes, hours, you don’t really know. You lost track of time, as if the world had stopped spinning.
“I’m sorry I waited for something like this to happen to do it. I’ve wanted this for a very long time, Y/N.”
“Me, too, Gibbs. But I’m not sure that’s the best time. I’ve lost all self confidence and--”
He kisses you again, undoubtedly to make you shut up. “I’ll help you find it again. I wish you could see yourself through my eyes.”
You rest your forehead against his, some tears are still rolling down your cheeks. “You’re not bad with words.”
“I’m still better with touch.”
Going Live
Spencer Reid x Reader
Synopsis: You're an intern for the FBI but double as a camgirl in your spare time. You thought you kept things pretty well under wraps but who knew one of your mentors watched you all along.
Warnings: smut, unprotected p in v action (remember to wrap it), face fucking, use of sex toys, tiny bit of degrading
a/n: writing this in the setting of season 10/11 because spencer looks so damn good and i wanted to include my girl tara
also part 2 of more than physics should be up later today! hope you enjoy -🧞‍♀️
Tumblr media
You had been a paid intern for the FBI for about a year, paid being said lightly. But the job was definitely worth it. While being under the wing of the BAU you had not only learned so much about your hopefully future profession, but you had made a family with the team. Especially under the wing of Tara Lewis, she had been there for a little while but you looked up to her work and she was more than happy to offer advice and a good wine night.
The team knew you had a second job on the side but weren’t exactly sure what it was, just that you worked from home. They respected your personal life enough to stay out of it, however that didn’t stop Rossi from offering you a little extra because “that's what uncles are supposed to do”. You would always wave him off and say you could handle yourself, because you could.
You thoroughly enjoyed working. The money and gifts were obviously a big reward but there was always something so exciting about being on camera. Maybe it was how risque it was, being exposed for thousands to see. Or the fact that many were pleasuring themselves to the sight of you.
It was Friday night and you were getting your setup ready. You already had your outfit and glam on. Someone had sent you a set from your wishlist, lilac lace hugged your body in all the right places, accentuating all your assets and boosting your confidence. In your hair were the same color streaks you did with a tinting spray. You set the camera and laptop up in front of your bed. Silk sheets and plush pillows behind you where you could rest comfortably before your show started.
Little did you know across town Spencer Reid was getting ready to tune in to said show. He was never one for tech, having Garcia still hand him paper files and would refuse to upgrade his phone. He had gotten a computer just so he could video chat with doctors quickly about new medicine for his mother. However he quickly found out there was so much more the internet had to offer.
_
He had stumbled across your show one lonely night. Spencer couldn’t see himself going out to find a one night stand so the pleasure of his hand it was. He was looking through videos when he saw the thumbnail with a girl wearing glasses similar to the ones you wear when you forget contacts. His curiosity got the best of him and if he was a cat he’d be one life down. He couldn’t believe the sight on the screen in his lap.
There you were the bubbly intern, body trembling as waves of pleasure washed over you from the pink wand you held over your clit. He was delightfully flustered and the moans spilling from the computer’s speakers weren’t doing much to help.
He was entranced by you writhing in pleasure but was knocked back into reality after hearing you giggle. God he loved when you made that noise in the office, usually after fake flirting with Hotch or hearing about JJ’s boys. But this situation was totally different and if he was honest with himself he was very into it.
You reached over to grab a large pink dildo. Taking it in your mouth before swiping it through your folds. It easily slipped in and you started rapidly pumping it into you chasing your orgasm.
Spencer was too enthralled to even think about touching himself. He was using the gift which was his eidetic memory to the best of his ability to make this something he’d never forget.
You came with a loud moan, hips lifting and grinding against the toy to chase the friction. Quickly you turned off the wand and took the toy out. You sat up and looked into the camera before sucking it off. Spencer's eyes widened as he let out a groan shifting on his bed.
“Alright guys that was fun for tonight,” you said as you sat criss cross on the bed. “I didn’t think I’d be able to get to five.”
FIVE?? He thought in his head. He felt like he was gonna explode just watching those last few minutes. How was he supposed to last watching you make yourself cum five times.
“Thank you so much for all the tips and support! My links are all in the description and I’ll see you angels next Friday! Muahh” you signed off blowing the camera a kiss.
Spencer knew it was wrong of him to view a coworker in such an exposed light but he couldn’t help himself. So he spent the night viewing some of your old videos which brought him to what he swears to be the best orgasm of his life. Of course he sent gracious tips and made sure to buy little items off the wishlist, mentally noting to return every Friday night. Even if it meant hiding in the bathroom from Morgan in their shared hotel room on cases. That was two months ago.
_
Just as you finished your session the phone rang signaling a case. Quickly you got in the shower and put on comfy business clothes since you usually stayed with Garcia doing extra research and taking notes. You quickly grabbed your bag and keys, making your way straight to the office.
In the elevator you heard someone calling to keep it open. Spencer made his way in, buttoning his cardigan and adjusting his bag, quickly saying thank you. You pressed the button to the floor as you felt a pair of eyes on you. Looking over Spencer was eyeing you with a confused look on his face. You were about to question him when he spoke up first.
“I thought you had streaks in your hair”
“I did… Earlier tonight but they washed out.” He looked even more confused, then his brain put two and two together. He just realized what he had said. For a genius this wasn’t one of his brightest moments.
You looked at him amused as a deep blush spread from his neck to the tips of his ears. There was only one way someone would know about your quick hair change: by watching your show. The door to the elevator opened and you walked out giggling as he started sputtering apologies behind you. You quickly cut him off.
“Spence, it's alright. If you want we can talk about this later because right now you have a bad guy to catch. But may I suggest making your name something less obvious, not that I don’t love ‘magiclover187’.” He stood there mouth gaping as you patted his shoulder and walked up to the conference room to meet the rest of the team.
_
The case was one of the easier ones. Very minimal killing and the team was back by Tuesday morning, ready for a week of paperwork. Spencer had been dancing around you the whole time, he could barely keep eye contact with you and would rush to leave the room if you walked in. If he was this flushed around you with clothes on you could just imagine how much of a mess he would be when he watched you perform. Which brought an idea to your head.
Friday rolled around and you walked over to his desk where he was nose deep in one of his Russian books. You put your hand in it to bring it down. Once he noticed it was you he was about to start with another ramble of apologies when you stopped him.
“Alright I’m tired of the awkwardness and I want my friend back,” you said with a soft smile. “Why don’t you come over tonight and we can have that talk. I’ll even order a pizza and we can watch Doctor Who.”
“Y/n are you sure? I-I mean it is um uh Friday.. And ya know you usually film,” he said as he played with his tie.
You giggled at how nervous he was. Poor little genius didn’t know he was the only one with tricks up their sleeve.
“It’s fine I promise. Just a night with my favorite customer,” you said winking at him. He choked and looked around to see if anyone was looking at his outburst.
“I’m kidding.. Sort of,” you trailed off. “But I mean it about you coming over. I’m going home now but I expect you there in an hour with drinks.”
With that you turned around and walked off, adding a little extra sway to your hips. Obviously that did the trick as you heard a small groan behind you. Spencer dropped his head back as he started wracking his brain to figure out how to live through the night without making a bigger fool of himself or cuming in his pants.
_
You know maybe you were evil, you thought to yourself as you put on the finishing touches to your outfit for the night. Once you got home you sped into the shower to freshen up for him to come over and get your setup ready. You were wearing a cream colored strappy bodysuit. Over it was a large cardigan, almost resembling the maroon one he owned, strange. To top it off you were wearing your glasses and your legs were adorned with your favorite thigh high socks.
The three knocks on the door instantly made a smirk appear on your face. This might just be one of your best schemes yet. Looking through the peephole you saw Spencer gnawing on his bottom lip holding a few bottles of soda. Taking a deep breath you opened the door greeting him with all the casualty in the world.
“Hey! I’m glad you came, come in.”
He followed you in and tried to keep his eyes above your neck, trying to act like he wasn’t getting completely hard by just your outfit.  You sat down on your couch and patted it for him to sit next to you. He took the seat and gulped not really sure what you had planned.
“Um how long for the pizza to get here?”
“The pizza’s not coming Spence,” you said shaking your head. “But you are.”
You leaned forward to place your hand on his on the couch. “I want you to fuck me on camera Spencer,” you said with sweet confidence, fluttering your lashes. His eyes kept flashing between your cleavage showing through the cardigan and your lips before finally landing on your eyes. He didn’t see a single hint of humor in them, nothing transparent but lust.
He pulled his hand from under yours to place in your hair, pulling you into a heated kiss. You pushed back on his chest a bit to try and get some air.
“Save that magic for the show,” you said as you pulled him up to lead to your bedroom.
The camera was set at a little bit of a lower angle. The audience would just be able to see you and at most Spencer’s chest. You had made sure it was fine and even turned it on as a test so he could see what he looked like. After you got everything out of the way you hit the button to go live and instantly people started flooding in. If the bulge in his pants told you anything, it was that he was excited to be on the other side of the screen this time.
“Hello my angels!” you said into the camera, Spencer was taken back at what was going on. After months of lusting over the young intern he was finally seeing the show in person.
“Today I have a special guest with me. My very good friend, the Doctor,” you took his hand to pull him into frame. “He’s very excited to be here,” you said, hand moving down to palm him through his pants.
His hand reached out and wrapped around your throat, making you look up at him. Huh. This was a new Spencer you wouldn’t mind seeing more often.
“Let's not play games princess. Or else the only thing making you cum tonight are your pathetic little fingers. Am I clear?”
You shivered at the intensity of his voice instantly trying to nod the best you could within his grip. He let go and you went back to task at hand, undoing his pants and pulling them down along with his boxers. He was long and pink. Precum already spilling out of the pretty tip, you couldn’t wait to have him in your mouth, among other places. You wasted no time in licking a broad stripe along a vein under it. His hand went to grab a handful of your hair giving it a testing tug as a warning to stop teasing.
Your hand went to grip what couldn’t fit in your mouth but you tried your best to take him all in. You could hear the pings of tips and comments being said. Spencer could too and leaned over slightly to read them.
“Face fuck her,” he murmured. He pulled you off of his cock and looked down into your eyes, “Is that what you want princess? Hm.” His thumb went to clean up the spit dripping down your chin before rubbing your lips. “You want me to fuck your face?”, he said in a condescendingly sweet voice.
“Yes Doctor please! Fuck my throat.”
“Good girl.”
Both his hands made their place nested in your hair, guiding you to his cock. He wasted no time in being brutal. Tears were leaking down your cheeks as he kept on hitting the back of your throat. Spencer was enjoying himself to the fullest letting out curses and praises at how good your mouth felt. He knew he wasn’t going to last much longer and you could feel it too as he started to throb in your mouth. He then pulled you off, a trail of spit connected from your lips and his cock.
“Such a dirty whore for me. Show everyone how messy I make you,” he took your head and made you turn to look in the camera. Comments pinged talking about how pretty you looked with mascara running and smudged lipstick.
“Thank them and ask if you deserve to cum on my cock,” Who knew Spencer had this in him. But you were loving every second of it and put on your best pair of puppy dog eyes to beg the camera for Spencer to split you in half. And you had no shame in doing so.
“Please let the Doctor fuck me. I’ve been such a good girl for you guys,” you pleaded into the camera. The audience was pleased with your begging as they said you deserved it for being so good.
Spencer took his time in unbuttoning the cardigan you had on, teasingly rubbing your arms as he slipped it off. His hands then went to the bodice of it, groping your breasts and teasing your nipples through the fabric.
“Ah shit doctor, please fuck me already.”
Who was he to deny you of such a thing when you asked so nicely. He pushed you back down on the silk sheets. Pulling you by your thighs to the end of the bed where he moved the thong of the bodysuit to the side and slid his cock up your folds. Lubricating it in your juices before slipping right in. You both gasped at the intrusion, his hands grabbing your hips with a force sure to leave bruises. He used the leverage to set a brutal pace, ramming his cock into you.
Your ears were ringing from the pleasure but you could hear the constant pings of your tip box and comment section flooding.
“Shit baby you’re so tight. Perfect little pussy squeezing me so good.” You babled off thank yous and whimpers from being so close to your climax.
 You felt Spencer stop for a second and reach over to grab something. Then you felt it. Your wand set to the highest setting placed on your clit as he started to thrust into you again. Sounds of your moans and skin slapping together filled the room along with the buzzing of the vibrator. You were sure there was going to be a noise complaint notice on your door in the morning.
You were so close to having the bubble in your stomach burst and so was he.
“I'm gonna cum Doctor,” you practically yelled. “Please cum inside me!”
“Cmon princess. Let me feel you let go.”
With that the knot broke and you swore you died and went to heaven. Your walls squeezing Spencer led him to his end a little after you. Thrusts faltering and groaning at the feeling of pleasure washing over him. He turned off the wand and put it to the side before slipping out of you.
Looking into the camera you gasped at your appearance. Hair disheveled and face messy from crying in pleasure multiple times that night. Your mixed release leaking down your thigh and onto the sheets.
There were non stop pings of people calling Spencer a lucky bastard and asking for him to come back next Friday. Spencer nodded his head over to your bathroom to get you guys something to clean up with and let you do your closing.
“Thanks for the love tonight angels,” you said with a smile on your face, entirely blissed out. “As always the links are in the description and I’ll see you guys next Friday. Maybe I’ll talk to the Doctor about future appearances. Bye!”
With that you fell back on your bed and closed your eyes. Your body jolted at a sudden coldness between your thighs.
“Right sorry,” Spencer whispered.
“So where did that come from?” you looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
“A magician never reveals his secrets,” he stated seriously.
You giggled and took his hand, “Thanks for doing this with me.”
“Of course. Now why don’t you shower while I get us a pizza. For real this time.”
“Or we can shower together then call the pizza.”
He contemplated it before smiling at you, “You always have the best ideas.”
“Don’t I know it.. Doctor.”
Yayy! Requests from one of my fave writers are open💕💕💕
Soo, I’ve had this fic idea for quite some time in my mind and it could be interesting. I would love to see a Dazai x Fem!Reader where the reader is a new member of the agency and have been work partners for quite some time with Dazai. The reader feels insecure because Dazai doesn't do his usual flirty stuff to her, but that's only because Dazai doesn't know how to deal with the feeling of real love, and one day, they have a painful talk about it (which starts with the reader confronting him about this when he asks what’s wrong, maybe?)- I would love for this to go from angst to fluff, thank you so much 💔💕
Awwww! I'm a favorite writer of yours! Thank you for such a generous compliment!
My belladonna |Dazai x Female Reader|
Warnings: dazai’s typical thoughts, long fic
Words: 2,385
I worked hard on this one, so I hope you like it. The fluff does take a bit but I assure you the fluff at the end is worth the angst!
Love, a humane concept many never give a second thought towards. What is love exactly? Is it the feeling of being happy which is caused by another? Then what separates love from a deep underlying friendship? Is it the fluttering tightness in your chest? Could it be the sweat and discomfort that forms near somebody you supposedly love? Was love only something a sane person who understands the meaning behind being human can feel and understand? Love raises so many questions it’s better to ignore all contact, to avoid anything that could lead to falling deeper.
Dazai had never put so much of his mind's capabilities onto a feeling before. He’d never wondered what love meant. His eyes stared off beyond the clouds as he thought about his recent missions with her. She was always so different from the other women he knew or had met over the years. The way she made her presence known in the room, or how her body seemed to be the last thing he noticed. That was important, at least when looking at Dazai. Dazai was not a man of the gentlemen variety. He actually rather impolite, some could say disgusting. He was, after all, a womanizer. It was no unknown fact he slept around, flirted, and even treated women with disrespect. Yet here she was, the newest member of the agency, his current partner. He could hardly glance her way without being star-struck. His eyes would nearly reflect the look of a teenage boy lost in a fantasy. He imagined what her voice would sound like, saying I love you, thank you, you're welcome. He imagined what goodbye embraces and welcome back embraces would feel like. Imagined her kindness, pointed and focused on him. All of this made him confused, he’d never been here before. Nobody in all his miserable years had ever strayed his thoughts to such territory. To avoid confronting the feelings that may or may not spook him, he ignored her. He treated her like he would any other co-worker. He never once asked her his questions of the suicidal manor. He never once flirted with her, he hardly talked to her.
You grew to notice these things over time. The way he avoided you; like you were some disaster waiting to happen. The way he flirted with almost every other woman besides you. Every time you worked by his side, the pain only increased. The thud of your own heart kept you from falling over the pain. Every time he glanced another's way, felt like another dagger stabbed to your side. Thoughts of what if’s eventually circled within your head. Asking yourself if you had done something to insult him. Even his coworkers couldn’t give you a solid answer to Dazai’s behavior. No matter what you did for him, he never seemed to show an ounce of care in your direction. He didn’t touch the gifts you gave him, no matter what they were. Even if they were tips on his little obsession with suicide, he ignored them. He couldn’t face you in person either. Unless you worked together, he hardly spoke to you.
Like any sane person, you couldn’t handle it anymore. A confrontation was called for.
~
Beneath the moonlight, as the hours of the agency closed and Dazai stayed behind, you fell back to have privacy with him. Even as the others left and bid you good luck with confronting him, you stayed put. It wasn’t that Dazai stayed late to work, he stayed late to make sure everything was alright with the agency, and to grab any leftover coffee/food from the day. He hadn’t expected to run into you as he attempted to leave with a few bags of collected things, stolen things. The moonlight glimmered against your reflection, illuminating your every feature. His eyes instantly darted from you to the door. Unsure how to respond, he let the atmosphere settle in, despite the awkwardness. “We need to talk.” Your voice despite the slight aggravation was more than angelic to him.
Putting on a smile, he raised a brow to play off the thudding pound of his heart. “Oh? We do, did something come up?” he sounded almost nervous, but he masked it enough to hide it from you.
Another silence folded over the two. With every moment, Dazai became less and less comfortable. Being in her presence was enough to send his mind whirling with confusing thoughts again. Her own nerves were starting to act up. Having to hold her hands behind her back as she fidgeted. Within the dimly lit room, illuminated by a few lights and the moon, they stood. Neither of them spoke, afraid of what came after the silence.
That was until your voice picked up from the silence. Shattering it with a soft echo. Speaking with a meek voice, you asked Dazai about his recent behavior with you. “Do you hate me?” The words slipped with ease, but hurt to speak. Afraid, he'll choke on his answer and tell you that you had done something to harm his ego, or that he didn’t find you interesting.
Dazai’s hands slid into his pockets, clenching together tightly. “No, why would you think I hate you?” he spoke clearly with no hint of nervous hesitation or lies. Yet, you could not believe him. Within his body language, the lack of eye contact, the unsure tilt of the head, the slip of his hands to his pockets, it all told you he was hiding something.
Exhaling as calmly as you could to calm your nervous chatter, you spoke up again. “Look at me then.” You hissed the words, your own eyes darting to look away from him.
Dazai froze before his head slowly shook. “I can’t,” he mumbled. His voice losing the usual confident, cocky tone as he spoke. There was no childish intent, no cocky extent, no humor to his voice. It was bland with nervous fear.
“Because you don’t like me.” Saying the words out loud made the knives that struck through turn into poisonous bullets. Each word, each realization had the initial sting of a bullet, but left a thudding emptiness, the poison.
“I don't,” he whispered. Though his voice cracked in a waiver. His breathing unsteady to match your own rapid breaths. His heart pounded with a fear he’d never felt before. His heart, his mind, it was still too confusing. He didn’t understand, couldn’t comprehend this feeling.
“Yes, you do! You treat every other woman the same! I wouldn’t mind if you just… if you just didn’t flirt, but you… you won’t even look at me!” with every pause and stutter, the pain grew. With every pause, your voice picked up. The ocean of emotion you had left untouched and sealed, starting to unravel and make sense.
“... I…” Dazai had no reply to your words. His head screamed at him to reach out and grab hold of you. To drop down and do as he always did. Another half of him told him to pull something else. To pull out a gift and woo you with flowers and soft praises. He didn’t understand how to truly appreciate this feeling or how to acknowledge it. He wants so much revolving around you, but he didn’t know what to do. Not even his words could form a snarky comeback or an excuse. He couldn’t pull the usual words like, you’re just too stunning to look at.
Watching his silence, and the only word he spit be a single vowel, you shook your head. The emotional fire within your chest letting go. You turned towards the door rather dramatically. Your hand grasping the handle in a swift motion. “You’re a selfish bastard Dazai. You’re a selfish bastard. Letting women fall in love only to rip their hearts from their chests. I knew you were one of those men, yet I still… I still gave it to you.” Dropping the anger and the loudness of your voice you spoke softly. With slight drips of venom being used to cover the pain consuming you.
He watched her pull the door open in one single movement. His eyes traced her movements as the door slammed. The words she spoke took what felt like millennia to make sense. He kept trying to make sense of her words, he didn’t understand any of them. He couldn’t until he took into thought his own heart. He stopped trying to make sense, and rather let his heart make sense of it. Understanding human emotions, understanding what made humans… Well, humans, was never his forte. Not a second later, his eyes shot wide and his lips parted with shock. A new thought he’d never understand crossing his restless mind. “Why, why would she love me?” he shook away the thought, reaching for the handle of the door and flinging it open. Never in his life had he been the one doing the chase, yet here he was doing just that. His feet carried him down the stairs and out of the building. The slow patter of the rain provides a dramatic splatter when his feet hit the cold cement. His breaths formed white puffs of air as he skidded to a stop. Thinking back to missions, recalling the sentences he’d tried to ignore. The things about her he tried to ignore. The invitations to walk. The way she came up behind him, trying to interact while he ignored her. Without having to recall much, his feet swerved to the left and ran. His feet slid here and there over the slippery gravel, the mud, and sharp turns. His gut led him instead of his mind. For once, he was trusting his instincts. The park his heart shouted. The first time he’d truly fallen for her, the smile she gave him on her first day. It was love at first sight. Love, admitting it was really such a humane feeling was terrifying. Yes, he’d always wanted to understand humanity, but starting with something that could end in flames or bliss... was no more terrifying than standing over the ledge of a cliff.
As your feet came to a sudden halt, you found yourself at the park. Remembering the way he looked and acted when you first joined brought more water to gather along with the rain. Slipping down onto the bench, covered with the sky's tears, you curled your legs into your chest. Burying your face into your knees, you swore to yourself this wouldn’t happen again. You had been a fool, hadn't you? A fool to love a man like Dazai. Somebody obsessed with suicide and willing to flirt with every woman his eyes caught. Slowly, the rain began to pick up its pace. The moon reflected in puddles where the mud could no longer soak up its water.
He searched the area for a while despite the quickening pace of the rain. As his eyes settled against your drenched form, the way you cuddled against yourself, his heart cracked. His arms slipped from his jacket despite it being somewhat wet. While he was nervous, he snuck up behind you and rested his coat on your shoulders. He took a seat at the other end of the bench. Pulling his knees to his chest, he decided to finally share why he’d been so distant and a jerk towards you. “I was scared. I ignored, avoided, and pretended to not notice you because I was afraid.” Your glance was doubtful, after all, when was he ever scared of something? “Doubting me? I get why, I'm never scared, that's what you think right?" there was a small nod from your head, but it caused him to sigh. “I do get scared, emotions scare me. Feeling human, it’s what I want, I want to understand what it is to be human, but starting out with this… it’s terrifying.” Watching as you didn’t respond but look away, he let out a frustrated groan.
“Just, leave me alone Dazai.” Your whispers hurt. The pain reflected in your words hurt more than any wound he’d ever found himself inflicted with. He hated pain and suffering, and that’s what this was.
“I can’t, I won’t not anymore. I… fuck, I don’t understand it. I don’t… it’s hard to admit things like this belladonna… I fell in love. I don’t know how to deal with whatever this is!” His words came rushed and panicked. His hands found their way into his hair, tangling with the drenched locks. Thunder thudded softly in the sky as lightning crackled.
Your hand reached your eyes as you shook your head. “Please, please stop it. Don’t call me that! You don’t mean it. Stop trying to just make yourself feel better.” You whispered the words again until he forcefully brought your head to meet his chest. He held you tightly, running his hand over your back as he rocked back and forth.
“I’m not lying, not playing games. You’re amazing in every way possible. I still can’t understand why you'd like me.” Dazai whispered the words next to your ear. Holding you within the rain until your body stopped its trembles. What you did next shocked him more than any action that went outside his predictions did. Your lips planted themselves on his. At first, it seemed you were unsure about this. He didn’t kiss back at first, when he made his mind up, it was too late. You had pulled away ready to collect excuses. Before your lips could part with said excuses, his hands moved and cupped your face. His lips came crashing down on yours. He’d never felt this before, a spark, a real feeling in a kiss. When the two of you needed air, he moved away with a slight smile. “We should… get out of the rain before we both catch a cold.”
Blushing you tugged on the fabric of his clothes, telling him to lift you. “Yeah, we should, Kunikida would kill us both if we get sick.” You chuckled lightly, sniffling as Dazai lifted you into his arms.
“Remind me where your place is again?” with a snicker, you told him the address and allowed yourself to drift off to sleep while he carried you. “I love you, belladonna.”
Favorite Shirt
Okay time to post again. Slight warnings, mention of death, toxic relationship, slight emotional abuse.
Word count ~2.9k
"Tch, I guess it’s about time I clean my desk. I can't work with all of this crap on it." Jotaro annoyedly says.
While cleaning off the countless stacks of paper he pauses. All desire to clean is quickly knocked out of him. He sits back down in his desk chair holding the group picture you all took in Egypt. He glances over each face in the image, some happy memories, some not so much. He would give anything to go back in time to change the way things played out. So many stupid mistakes. His eyes immediately halt when he gets to yours. His face expressed sorrow and longing.
His favorite memories of the two of you start to come rushing back to his head, and for a moment, he smiles. The constant flirting that always occured between the two of you. The silent stares you each felt from one another. No matter how much the others teased you two, you still weren't sure if admitting your feelings was the best idea. You each had your own reasons for keeping distant. The mission was much more important anyway, and so was your friendship.
He recalls one of his favorite memories with you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a long week of tiresome stand battles, the closer you got to Egypt, the more intense they became. He noticed this was taking quite the toll on you and made the gang find a hotel that night so you could get some much needed rest. In the meantime he suggested that you use him as a pillow in the car on the way there.
Honestly, you took him up on the offer. You took everything you could at the time knowing that it would never go any further no matter how bad you wanted it to. Your head rested on his large chest, which was surprisingly soft for how tough he was. Every now and then he'd tug on his hat to cover his face when in fact he was just trying to steal a few glances at your peaceful, resting figure.
"Alright, we're here, group up and we'll get going into our rooms," Joseph states.
"I ca-"
"She's staying with me. There's no discussing it." Jotaro then picks you up and carries you to your room.
You started to wake up from the movements and the background noise going on in the hotel, and the first thing you saw was Jotaro's face when you opened your
eyes.
"Clearly I must be dreaming," you thought.
"Look who decided to wake up." he scoffed at you. "Really left it up to me to carry you all the way up here."
"I'm so sorry! I won't let it-"
"That's enough. I was just kidding anyway. You fought really hard today, it's the least I could do."
You smiled back at him as he set you down on the bed. That was honestly all the thanks he needed.
"Anyway, I'm going to go get something to eat, I'll bring something back for you if you want, but you should probably get some real rest soon."
You began to crawl up into the bed in your dirty and torn clothes from the day you just had.
"Good grief, what do you think you're doing? You're really going to sleep in a nice clean bed in your dirty clothes??"
"Well, I don't really have any clean clothes left right now, so, unless you have a better ide-"
You were quickly cut off with a soft hit to the face. Jotaro threw one of his clean shirts at you.
"Here. You can use this. It'll be more comfortable anyway."
Jotaro had left to go pick up some food and when he came back he was greeted with his favorite shirt filled with his favorite person. Wearing only that shirt made you look much smaller than you actually were, it practically went down to your knees.
"Thanks Jotaro! I promise I'll get it back to you as soon as I can."
"Keep it. It looks better on you anyway." He cooly tried to say as he pulled his hat down over his eyes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After everything that had happened in Egypt, you just wanted to get away from it all for a while. Go out on your own to a new place with no reminder of the loved ones you lost and all the feelings you never acted on. As a thank you for your hard work, the SpeedWagon Foundation offered to pay for everything of whatever you decided to do. You thought maybe you'd try going to school in America for a while. It was great, you had all the experiences you grew up seeing in movies and on TV. You made plenty of new friends there and even dipped your toes in the dating pool.
Right after you finished school, you and your boyfriend got married. You thought that's what you ought to do, you've been with him for so long. Everyone thought you were the perfect couple. He always took you out on extravagant dates and bought you expensive jewelry. Every girl wanted to be you. But that was only because they didn't know what happened behind closed doors. He never physically hurt you, not many people could, I mean you could hold your
own in Egypt, you're pretty tough, but mentally, he knew you were weak. You would confide in him in the beginning of your relationship about all your friends back home that you missed. He never let you call home or talk to them either. The ones you could never see again. Everytime he wanted you to hurt he would just remind you that they were dead because you weren't there for them, you weren't strong enough to save them. Countless letters came in from your friends and family and he'd throw them away before you could see them. He would even tell you that no one was writing to you anymore.
Every now and then you manage to chat with Jotaro. He'd call you on your lunch break at work from time to time just to play catch up. Asking things like 'how's life?' and 'are you doing okay?' and the sort of thing. Everytime you told him you were doing great. You love your husband and you even try to brag about how well he treats you by describing all the luxurious gifts he's been buying you. Everytime Jotaro ended the call saying he was happy for you and then a
quick update on his life.
To be honest, Jotaro wasn't falling for your phone calls. He knew something was wrong, but he never knew how bad it really was. He thought it was strange that you never wrote to him or called him outside of your work hours. It was also strange how you never really went into depth about your personal life either.
One fateful day, you're having a routine call with Jotaro when your husband decided to stop by to take you out to lunch. He asked the secretary why your door was closed to which she simply responded, "Oh, she's talking to her childhood friend Jotaro! He usually calls about this time every week."
He walks into your office catching you off guard while you're still on the phone. The shock alone causes you to drop the phone with a quiet screech.
"Y/n, are you there?" Jotaro stays on the line worried about what he just heard.
Your husband shuts your office door leaving just the two of you in there and is yelling just loud enough to where your coworkers can't hear him.
"I thought I told you no one wanted to talk to you anymore? They're all fed up with you, can't believe you let your friends die back in Egypt. They'll never
forgive you for that."
"You're right I'm sorry just please don't do this here."
"What makes you think you can tell *me* what to do? That's not how this works. And who gave you permission to talk to other guys? There's going to be some serious consequences for this when you come home." He walks out of your office smiling at all of your coworkers like nothing had just happened, followed by a shut of your office door and your muffled cries.
"Y/n?? Are you still there? Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
"Wh- what did you hear?" You managed to squeak out, choking back tears.
"I heard enough y/n, he's not a good guy. I knew something was wrong. We have to get you out of there."
"No. This is my life now. I don't need your help, I told you I'm perfectly fine."
"Y/n I'm not kidding, you have to get out of there *now* and I won't take no for an answer."
"I can't, okay! I have nowhere to go. No one would believe me if I said the things he's done to me. Anyone who I try to run to just rats me out to him and the situation gets worse."
"Y/n, go pack your most essential things while he's out of the house. I'm buying you a ticket home for tonight. You'll be safe here this time tomorrow."
The instant care Jotaro had just shown you only causes you to cry more. How could you let yourself get like this? You really weren't okay. You were just too headstrong to admit anything was wrong.
"Thank you." You were able to muster through even more tears.
After picking yourself up off the floor and drying your face, you left your office, no intention to come back. You rushed home to grab only your essential items while your husband was finishing his day at work. You grabbed a few sets of clothing, your toothbrush, hair and makeup accessories, a few pairs of shoes, and your folder of important documents. Everything else was replaceable and or retrievable at a later date.
You take a deep breath and get the courage to call a ride to the airport.
Free from your husband's control, you weren't scared to text or call Jotaro on your own phone now. You called him letting him know that you were on your way.
One short plane ride across the ocean later and Jotaro was waiting there for you to take you home. You're not sure how long he was there for but you're convinced he was waiting there since before you even took off.
"Y/n, over here." He waves you over.
You walk over shyly and ashamed of what he had witnessed just the day before. You couldn't even pick your head up enough to look him in the eyes.
"Y/n it's okay now. You're here with me, he can't get to you right now."
"Ye- yeah I guess you're right. So where do I go now?"
"C'mon, I'll take you back to my place."
"We're stopping there before the hotel?"
"I'm not letting you stay alone right now. You're staying with me at my house. The only reason I let you fly alone was because it got you out of there faster."
Jotaro takes your bag and you both head to the taxi.
"C'mon short stuff, get those legs movin' faster."
"Hey! Not everyone can be freakishly tall."
Jotaro raises one eyebrow, "So I'm a freak, aye?"
"Sorr-"
"Don't apologize, you're already more vocal when you're free around here. I like it."
The taxi drops you two off at his house. The drive felt like an eternity when in reality it was only a few short minutes. You stared out the car door window in awe.
*So this is what he's been up to this whole time*
"Well c'mon now, let's get inside."
You quickly follow after him like a lost puppy.
"There's a spare bedroom upstairs and down the hall, why don't you take this time to relax and freshen up while I make us something to eat?"
"You really don't have to do this for me Jotaro, but I appreciate it."
You head upstairs with your bag. It really was a long flight. You decide to take a quick shower and put on some clean clothes.
About an hour goes by when Jotaro comes by your room to collect you.
"Dinners ready y/n."
"Okay, I'll be right out, I just have to put some makeup on first."
"Uhh, what for? We're not going out anywhere."
"I don't know. I just always do. He always made me wear makeup, even at the house, I guess I'm just used to it."
Jotaro quickly turns around and starts heading towards the kitchen, but not without leaving a remark, "well don't. You look better without it anyway."
You follow soon after him with a fresh blank face. The table has already been set beautifully and you can already smell your favorite dish. He brings over two plates of food followed by a new bottle of wine.
"Why don't we catch up for real this time?" He asks.
Hours go by at the dinner table along with a few bottles of wine. The two of you bickering just like the old days. You missed this. You needed this.
You finally caught a glimpse of the time and stood up to help clean up the table.
"You don't need to help clean this up y/n. We can even clean it up tomorrow. Why don't we go talk in the living room for a bit longer?"
You move forward as an attempt to get to the couch, finally realizing how much you actually drank, you're quite tipsy in fact. Jotaro moves over to the couch to join you. Sitting side by side he grabs your hand with a guilty look on his face.
"Y/n, I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's all my fault."
Clearly he's a bit tipsy too if he's actually trying to admit being at fault right now.
"None of this is your fault Jotaro, what are you going on about?"
"If I was just straight with you when we were younger. If I actually had the courage to say something to you. Maybe you would have stayed. Maybe you would've ended up with me instead. Instead I thought you were too good for me."
Your eyes start to swell up. "Don't say that. Ever. I'm the one that's not good enough for you. Why would you ever want someone like me?"
"Well, you're you, that's why. You're strong, you held your own in the desert, you tried your hardest for us and you made it out. I've never met anyone as strong as you, and to know that someone took advantage of you? And I wasn't there to protect you? I'm so sorry for all of it."
Now full on ugly crying again, Jotaro wraps his arms around you and pulls you in for a hug.
"I'm so sorry Jotaro. Can you forgive me?"
He lifts up your crying head by your chin and brushes all your loose pieces of hair out of your face. He holds you here until you return the look into his deep aqua eyes. He moves forward, crashing his lips into yours. There was no hesitation on your end, you kissed him back just as hungrily. Neither of you needed words to figure out what the other one was thinking. You could feel the admittance of your love for each other from just that embrace. Jotaro pulls back and pushes your head into his chest so he can hold you once again. He pats your head.
"It's all okay now, I'm sorry it took this long," and he leaves a kiss on the top of your head.
The moment is only ended by your yawning since you've been up for lord knows how long. Jotaro picks you up and carries you in his arms to his room. He notices the slight confusion in your face.
"I was thinking maybe you sleep in here with me tonight, kinda like old times?"
"Okay, just let me go change into my pajamas. I don't want to get in the nice clean bed in my dirty clothes.".
You walk back into his room in just his old t-shirt you kept from the desert.
"You really kept that old thing?" He spouted.
"I really did. It's how I kept you close that whole time I was gone." You said with an embarrassed smile.
"It really does look better on you ya know?" He says through a full face of blush. Just seeing you again in that shirt made him think of all the things he wanted to do to you now and then.
You moved to go lay down alongside Jotaro in his massive bed. He always wanted to know what it'd be like to hold you in his arms in his own bed.
Jotaro pulls you into his chest to hold you tight, with no intention of letting you go. He places a delicate kiss on your cheek. You squeeze his hand as a subtle sign of acceptance and nuzzle into his broad figure.
“Goodnight y/n. Sleep tight.”
(A/N: about a year and a half ago someone requested a Jungwoo smut fic..well...I finally got to it💀there’s a big plot twist at the end though, it’s quite disturbing so..I’m sorry in advanced❤️but other than that I hope you like it👀)
—————
[8:50 PM]
You massaged your body with a glitter infused lotion to compliment your skin.
You liked feeling like a literal shining star when you danced, so why not.
It’s almost time to head to your client for the night, a wealthy bachelor that was due to be married in two weeks. His friends hired you to give him one last night with a private dancer before he was “bound to one woman for the rest of his life.”
They made it seem like his life was over, but you were used to it. Men always wanted one last night where they had “options” and could freely look at the women whose bodies they desired.
You didn’t care, you just wanted the money so you could save up for a music studio and continue to make your own songs. Tonight was gonna be like any other night. You dance for them, but they can touch you. Just look pretty and sexy for a few hours, you can do this.
You never knew the identities of the men you danced for because it wasn’t necessary, they were all just blank faces for you.
But you didn’t know that tonight would be different.
—————
[11:36 PM]
The private party at the upscale apartment was starting. About six of your coworkers were there with you, dancing slowly and grinding to the music with the men at the party.
The guys drank and laughed with each other while they drank beer and took shots. They were all sweet and respectful, no on acted out of line..yet. I’m sure none of them wanted to deal with the 6’5 and intimidatingly strong bouncers outside of the door that were there to ensure your safety.
Your coworkers flirted and gave the men lap dances while you stood in the corner and watched. You were assigned to the man of the night so technically you didn’t have to dance yet, but you were growing impatient. You wanted to get this over with so you could take off your harnesses, makeup and 6 inch platform heels.
Was he shy? Was he not interested anymore? Some men grew nervous with these kinds of parties. You weren’t sure what his problem was, but what you did know was that you needed to make some money. No dancing=no money, your boss was kind but she always made that clear.
All this alcohol around you and you couldn’t even drink it either. You only drank water and watched your friends have fun and the men shout and woo over them like they were at the club.
You decided to speak to Johnny, the hired DJ that was spinning some trap music with sexy deep bass and intoxicating singing. Enough to make any man want more than just a lap dance.
“So..the man of the hour isn’t showing, huh?” Johnny said after he took a sip from his red solo cup.
You rolled your eyes and stood beside him at his set table. You looked down and observed all the expensive tech supplies he had.
“I guess not..”
He turned and looked you up and down. “He’s missing out.”
You ran your hands up your sides and played with your bra straps while biting your lips before giving him a wink.
“You think so?”
Johnny laughed as you stepped closer. “Yeah, you look amazing..as usual.”
You blushed. You did have a small crush on Johnny but he was in a complicated relationship with his girlfriend for the longest time. You never got a chance to ask him to dinner. But then again, you weren’t sure if he liked you too, or if he was just like any other man that thought you were sexy.
“I could, you know, dance for you if he doesn’t show up..” you looked back at the table.
“And when I’m done..you could repay me by letting me play with your toys..” your voice trailed as you reached out to touch one of the sound pads.
He quickly grabbed your wrist and shook his head.
“Oh no, baby, not these toys..”
You stuck your tongue in your cheek and looked up at him, waiting for him to continue.
He rubbed his thumb on your wrist and licked his lips. “I can show you my other toys later..”
You rolled your eyes and opened your mouth to respond, but a loud uproar came out from the living room where everyone was.
“He’s here!! Hell yeah!” One of the men shouted.
You looked to the door and saw him walk through. Another man patted his back and  ruffled his hair.
“There he is!!” The man laughed.
You walked away from Johnny and closer to the room so you could finally see your client’s face. It was him.
“Jungwoo?” You said quietly.
“You know him?” Johnny asked, you didn’t know how he heard your voice over the music.
“Yeah..we..dated..in high school.” You sighed, shit.
“Well..that’s awkward.” Johnny laughed and put his headphones on.
You stepped into the living room and twirled your thumbs. Things didn’t end on bad terms, so you weren’t sure why you were nervous now.
He’s just another client, just dance for a few minutes and you can go home. He probably doesn’t even remember you, don’t be affected by this.
You lied to yourself. Of course he remembers you, you were each other’s firsts.
Your heart rate grew and you panicked as you watched the adorable man smile and talk friends.
He didn’t have that awkward bowl hair cut anymore. Instead, his hair was part to the side and cut low on the sides and the back, he gained more muscle and height, towering over his shorter friends. But his eyes were still a deep, beautiful brown that sucked you in.
Oh, he was still handsome. It’s only been three years since you last saw each other at graduation, but he had grown so much.
He broke up with you because he knew he’d be going to college overseas, but it still hurt. You wanted to try to make it work, but he didn’t.
You thought you had gotten over him, but the stinging pain in your heart told you otherwise. And here he was, getting ready to be married to the love of his life, who wasn’t you. Clearly, he had moved on.
You cleared your throat and looked at the floor. You walked away and went to the kitchen to get some water.
You closed the fridge door and rested your head against it, closing your eyes and breathing in deeply.
It’s just a dance, it’s just a dance. You’re used to this. He’s just another blank face.
“Y/n...” his heavenly and breathy voice entered your ears from behind you.
You turned slowly and looked at the ground, feeling a sudden shyness as you remembered that you were only covered in leather straps, a g-string and glitter.
You held onto your solo cup tightly and looked up at him. “Jungwoo..”
He smiled and it sent that familiar feeling through you. Like a thousand small birds were trying the escape the cage that was your chest.
It was a feeling you hadn’t felt in years, and you wondered if he knew he had this affect on you still.
“It’s nice to see you..you look amazing.” He gasped and stepped closer.
You gave a small smile and tucked your hair behind you ear. “Thank you, it’s..nice to see you too.”
Jungwoo laughed. “so..they told me, you’re my dancer”
You nodded and laughed. “Yeah, if I knew you were gonna be the man of the night I would’ve declined.”
Jungwoo’s beautiful eyes crinkled as he laughed. “Well, you don’t have to worry about that..I’m not gonna make you dance for me, I know I’m not your boyfriend anymore.”
You gasped when you realized that what you said may have been offensive.
“Oh..no, I didn’t mean..I mean, I’ll dance for you if you want me to! I just..I wish I knew beforehand. It’s not you..it’s...”
Jungwoo waved his hand. “it’s okay! I know what you meant, I’m not offended.” He giggled, his goofy smile made you feel warm.
You smiled wide and thanked the universe for making the music loud enough to drown out the sound of your thumping heart.
“D-Do you want a drink?” You turned and opened the fridge to get him a beer, not noticing that his eyes drifted to your behind and your shiny legs, all the way down to your heels.
“Sure.” He licked his lips and quickly looked away.
You turned back around and handed the beer to him. “So who’s the lucky person?”
You tried your best to smile and look genuinely happy for him.
His smile turned into a frown. “She’s a girl I met at college..but..” he was interrupted by his friend.
You wanted to ask but what? Why did it look like he had second thoughts on his marriage already?
“why the hell are you drinking that shit? We got the champagne ready!”
His friend grabbed his hand and motioned to you. “Come on.”
You nodded and took a deep breath before walking after them.
They all hugged Jungwoo and clapped for him as he struggled to open the champagne bottle. He was still so awkward. He turned to you and laughed, almost as if he heard your thought.
“I-I can’t get it.” He gave up and handed the bottle to his friend.
“Come on Jungwoo! You have to learn how to do this before your anniversary.”
His friend called out while twisting the bottle opener into the top.
Jungwoo stepped away from the center and by your side. His hand ghosted over yours. He wanted to touch it, to feel your skin again.
Jungwoo was staring at you now, even as you watched the man open the bottle. He missed seeing your features, your smile and your eccentric eyes.
He had a weakness for you unlike anything else. Even his fiancé couldn’t compare to you. He knew he was still in love.
You turned to him and smiled, looking at his plump lips as they parted slightly to tell you something.
But just as the words were about to come out, you were attacked by the spurting champagne onto your face and chest. His friend had angled the bottle towards you so that it would spray onto you as it opened.
You put your hands out and cried out at the sudden feeling of the cold liquid all over you.
The men laughed while your coworkers ran over to you to make you were okay.
“What the fuck, Donghyuck?!” Jungwoo yelled.
You ran off to the bathroom and shut the door. Luckily, none of the champagne had gotten into your eyes but you still lowered your head to the sink to wash your face off.
You wiped your eyes and looked up at the mirror.
You heard a banging on the door. “Y/n! Are you okay?!” It was Tiffany, your closest coworker.
“I’m fine!! I’ll be out soon.”
Shit. You mascara was running and your lipstick was smudged. Your makeup was a mess now and you felt like crying, how could you look like this in front of your ex? It was bad enough that you were hired to be a dancer at his bachelor party, but now you looked a complete mess.
Everything was going wrong and you started to tear up. He was happy with his life as a lawyer and his fiancé and here you were, a dancer that was saving up for your dream. And why did you still have feelings for him? It all made you sad.
You just wanted to go home, but you had to make money.
You heard another bang on the door.
You threw the door open forcefully as you were frustrated at the nights events. You thought it was Tiffany being impatient, so you yelled.
“I said, I’m fine! Just give me a moment!”
When you opened your wet and angry eyes, you saw Jungwoo’s worried face.
“Oh..oh, I’m so sorry.” You said quietly.
He shook his head and stepped into the bathroom before locking the door.
“No, I’m sorry. That was my fiancé’s brother, he’s an asshole.”
Jungwoo grabbed a hand towel and wiped your face gently, making sure to wipe away the mascara on your cheeks and the red lipstick stains around your lips.
He moved slowly and watched your lips while you looked at his concentrated eyes.
He was so close to you now in the bathroom, your back against the counter as he bent down to help you.
He pulled away and looked into your eyes while holding the towel at his side.
“You’re still beautiful.”
His voice was low as he watched your wide eyes.
Your heart went wild, you looked at his lips and thought of how soft they were.
“Thank you.” You quietly uttered out.
He stepped closer and took your chin in his hand, his hot breath hit your lips as he brought his face down to yours.
Did he still like you like you still liked him?
You swallowed hard and looked away, why were you getting your hopes up? He was due to be married in two weeks and surely, you’d never see each other again after tonight.
“I—I can’t do this, Jungwoo.”
“Y/n..I’m sorry, I’m sorry for leaving you..I never stopped thinking about you, but I thought you moved on so I didn’t want to bother you..I caused you so much pain, I’m sorry.”
Jungwoo let go and turned to leave.
You held his arm and stopped him.
“Jungwoo..” you weren’t sure why you stopped him, or even what you wanted to say. A thousand thoughts ran through your mind. His close presence in the intimate room was driving you crazy.
And so you said the first thing that came to your mind.
His eyes grew as he looked into your large ones.
“D-Do you love her?” You whispered, immediately regretting your invasive question.
Jungwoo licked his lips and looked to the floor while sighing.
“Y/n...no one makes me feel the way you make me feel, if it’s love that makes me crazy for you..then no, I don’t love her.”
You sighed and let go of his arm, he was still turned to leave.
“Jungwoo...” you quietly called out his name and with the sound of your beautiful voice, he quickly turned around took your face in his hands.
You closed your eyes as you finally felt his pillowy soft lips on yours. He kissed you deeply, never letting go of your lips as your hands rubbed his back.
His tongue teased your lips and explored your mouth. You moaned into his mouth, drinking in the taste of alcohol on his tongue.
He pulled away to breathe and put his forehead against yours.
“I wanted to do that all night.” Jungwoo chuckled.
You smiled and he placed wet kisses on your neck while you placed your hands behind you and onto the counter top.
You arched your back into him and moaned quietly again. Jungwoo put a hand on the mirror behind your head to steady himself.
“Jungwoo..” you were getting hot and sweaty as the heat from your close bodies built and the heavy breaths filled the air.
He didn’t push towards you. He was always shy when you made love, so you made the first step.
“Touch me, please.” You let out in a desperate breath.
Jungwoo couldn’t resist you. All the memories came flooding in, he remembered the dates you had together, your shy smile, your patience with him and even the way you felt the first time he came in you.
You tugged his shirt and lifted your legs up so that you could sit on the counter and wrap your legs around his waist.
He ran his hands up your exposed thighs and breathed heavily as he looked at your exposed skin and lace covered private area.
He swallowed hard and went back to licking up the champagne that got on your neck.
You moved your lower body closer to him and grinded onto his crotch, wrapping an arm around his neck as he kissed your skin and bit it to leave a mark.
You moved your hot core up and down and over his covered erection, making a low groan escape him.
He pushed into you harder. You ran a hand through his brown hair and whined at the feeling.
You two were dry humping as the bathroom became hot and the sounds of your harmonizing whines and moans filled it. Jungwoo was a singer like you, so the two of you always made loud sounds when you had sex.
But luckily, the music outside of the door was louder.
You unbuttoned Jungwoo’s dress shirt while he watched your body grind against his.
“Do you remember the first time we had sex?”
Jungwoo laughed. “Yeah, I came after like one minute..”
You laughed too and pulled him towards your face for another kiss.
“I missed you..” Jungwoo looked into your eyes, searching for reciprocation.
He smiled goofily when you blushed.
“Let me make it up to you.” Jungwoo tugged on one of the straps you had on.
“The first time sucked, I’ll be better this time..”
He kneeled down below you, pushing your legs away from his waist.
“Wait..what?” You asked as he looked up at you, his expression turning dark and daring. He moved closer to the apex of your legs, his hot breath fanning your lace underwear.
“I miss the way you taste, baby, let me taste you..” his voice lowered and you fell weak in his hands.
“Jungwoo..you don’t have to..” he was always a shy and obedient partner for you. You never had to ask him twice to do something as he just wanted to make you feel good. The men you had been with after him were cocky and self-centered, making sure they got off first and worried about you later.
He nodded and pushed his face towards your entrance while using his fingers to push the thin fabric to the side. He placed your legs over his shoulders and rested his head in the apex.
He licked a long stripe up your slit as you gasped and threw your head back.
He was slow and gentle with his tongue, using the tip to part your folds and collect the juices in between.
“Jungwoo..” you called out while fondling your breast.
He hummed when he heard you call his name, enjoying the way you moved onto his flattened tongue on your own.
You bit your lips and looked down at him as he added two fingers and circled his tongue onto your clit now.
Your breathing grew short and when you locked eyes with him. You could see a dark glint in them that sent chills up your spine and pushed you even further.
You could feel every dangerous flick of his tongue and every vibration. He moved his tongue faster as you moaned out louder and gripped the edge of the counter tightly.
“Ah..fuck..” you closed your eyes tightly as you came. He continued to kiss your entrance with his plump lips and lick up your essence as it escaped.
When he stood up, you continued kissing him.
He panted while you traced your hand over his bulge. You were about to pull his zipper down and get on your knees but he leaned in to whisper in your ear.
“Can we have..just one more night?” He searched your eyes with a sorrowful tone.
You thought about it while looking at his precious face. You were just a dancer, you shouldn’t have let things get this far. It was your duty to pleasure him, if anything. But then again, he wasn’t just another client. He was one of your most loving partners. What harm could one night do?
You nod.
Jungwoo takes your hand and leads you out of the bathroom. Everyone is too busy partying to notice the two of you leaving, but Tiffany sees you. She was waiting for you the entire time you were in the bathroom to make sure you were okay.
You give Tiffany a nod as you head out the door.
Jungwoo took you back to his house on the countryside. You never stopped kissing even as he drove. You got on your knees and tasted his length, making it difficult for him to concentrate.
“Oh..y/n..” he glanced down at your head bobbing up and down as it coated his cock in spit. Your ass is up in the air and he can’t wait to touch it.
He wraps your legs around his waist and brings you to his room where he places you down onto the bed. You help him throw his shirt off, then go to take your heels and lingerie off , but he stops you by grabbing your ankles.
He tilts his head. “Keep them on for me, pretty.”
You nod and watch him crawl over you. He slides a condom on and pushes into you swiftly. You grip the sheets as you whimper from being stretched out so suddenly.
You don’t remember him being this big, but maybe he had a growth spurt.
You bent your knees and wrapped your legs around his waist as he thrusted into you again, making your breasts shake.
You lick your lips as his warmth from his large body takes you over. He kisses along your neck and groans while his cock slides in and out of your soaking pussy. It feels so good, he might just go insane if you stay so right for the rest of this.
He pushes in deeper while biting your neck.
“Jungwoo!” You cry out.
Your nails scratch lightly at his back, your body trembles from being pushed closer with every satisfying thrust.
He grips your waist and forces himself into you repeatedly while watching you bite your lips and moan.
You run your hand down his chest and abs.
“I love you…” he looks into your eyes and says before rubbing your clit with his fingers.
You cry out. “Ahh!! Jungwoo..I missed you.”
“Will you stay the night?” His soft voice enters your ear and makes you shiver.
You’re so close.. you’ve never felt so adored, so wanted.
“Y-yes..”
Jungwoo smiles and grabs your waist as he flips you over him and lays down below you.
“Ride me, baby.”
He runs his hands up your thighs.
And you do as he says, swiveling your hips while bouncing up and down to finally orgasm. He digs his nails onto your ass to guide you down onto his cock.
He thrust upward into you and watches as your body becomes weak, your hair falls in your face as sweat coats your forehead. Your breasts move up and down, your nipples peeking through the falling bra as you move faster. All you can think about is the building pressure in the pit of your stomach, the way you feel every bulging vein run against your velvety walls.
You let out a few more moans and cry out, releasing onto him as he continues to pound into you from below.
Your body falls onto his chest limply, but Jungwoo finishes soon after once you tighten around him.
You both breathe heavily, he slides out of you and places you down beside him. Once your mind is clear, you go to the restroom to clean yourself up.
Meanwhile, Jungwoo goes to his closet and brings out a shirt and shorts for you to wear.
“Here!” He smiles widely once you open the door.
You grinned and thanked him while you took the outfit he brought for you.
The two of you fell asleep in his cozy bed not long after. Jungwoo played with your hair and massaged your scalp as he hugged you from behind.
“Jungwoo..do you really love me?” Your eyes were closed, the words barely escaped as you were half asleep.
Jungwoo smirked. “Of course.”
———
[The Next Morning]
You feel a stingingly cold piece of metal around your wrists.
As you awaken more, you feel the same thing around your ankles.
“J-Jungwoo?” You try to rub your eyes as you peer them open but you only hear the jingling of chains.
“Good morning, y/n.” He says smoothly.
When your eyes finally open and focus, you look down at your ankles and see that they’re bound to the bed posts at the foot of the bet with chains.
You look to your sides and see your arms stretch above your head and bound to the bed posts as well.
“Jungwoo!” You yank on the chains. “What the hell is this?”
You brows furrow as you begin to panic.
Jungwoo stands at the foot of the bed. His back is to you as he tends to something on the dresser.
But then you notice he is in a long black gown.
“Come in! She’s awake!” He calls out.
Several men dressed in the same gown enter the room and stand in a circle around the bed.
“Jungwoo! Who are these people? What the fuck?! Let me go!!” You yank harder against the chains and begin to cry.
You look closer and recognize some of the men were from the party last night.
Jungwoo finally turns to you.
“Oh, y/n..I guess I should explain everything now.”
He smiles widely, giving you the creeps.
You ball your hands into fists and still try to fight your restraints.
“Jungwoo..please don’t do this!” You cry out.
“But I haven’t even explained what we’re doing yet?”
He tilts his head and smirks.
You breathe heavily and watch as he dips two fingers into the steel bowl in his hands.
“You see..y/n..a few years ago when I broke up with you..I was awoken. I was visited by a messenger of God and given the opportunity to change my life for the better.” He flicks some of the liquid onto your body.
You scream. “No!!”
He ignores your cries and continues. “I sacrificed my old life for a new one, one that would allow me to serve God by saving poor souls like yours..”
“Jungwoo! You’re insane!! I don’t need to be saved!”
“Oh, but my poor child, you do. You are the very definition of sin. You use your body to tempt men, lure them, and corrupt them. You, and other people like you, are the very thing that destroys our human race. We are so caught up in lust, that we fail to remember our God. We fail to serve him.”
“Fuck you! All you men were there last night! All of you paid for the entertainment, don’t blame me for doing something your thirsty asses wanted me to do!”
Jungwoo only laughs. “Y/n..God will be so pleased when he has received your saved soul.”
Your eyes widened. “What?!”
He steps closer and flicks another spray of water onto your forehead.
“You’re a stripper and you must be cleansed of your sins, you must beg for forgiveness.”
“Fuck you!” You squirm on the bed.
“Help me please! Can't you see he's insane?!”
“I will now drink this entire bowl of holy water and transfer it to you. I did not spread my semen in you last night for fear that I would be tainted, so now I will bless you with my DNA.” Jungwoo tips the bowl into his mouth and gulps the liquid down.
The guy standing to your other side grabs your chin and holds your mouth open.
You try to close it but his grip is too strong. You whimper and struggle against your restraints once more.
Jungwoo spits the holy water into your mouth. You tried not to swallow it but you had to breathe.
You gag and choke once he pulls away and your chin is released.
You cough up loudly and squint. “Please..Jungwoo..please don’t do this, I’m sorry.”
Tears escape your eyes.
“It is not I that you should apologize to you, it is God. But do not worry, your sacrifice will be enough for our cult.”
“C-cult?” Your eyes widened as it all came together. Jungwoo joined a cult after high school, that’s why you never saw him again. And he looked different because he WAS different.
“We are a family devoted to God. But we need you to expand and bring about the purest being in the world, for it is only through the sacrifice of the ultimate sinner that we can be gifted with the purest angel.”
He steps towards you with a long knife in his hand now.
“We must first start by branding you with our symbol of peace..”
“No no no no no..please!! Please don’t do this.”
He slices through the T-shirt easily.
He then places the tip of the knife into the center of your chest, between your breasts.
You cry out louder as you feel it pierce your skin.
Blood escapes onto it.
He then presses it deeper and draws a straight line down. You scream from the pain as he digs the knife in so deep, you feel it begin to grind against the bone in the center.
“In between the tempting breasts of the woman, the center of the sin.” Jungwoo then draws a line horizontally, cutting into your breasts as you cry out for help.
Blood splatters fall onto his face but he remains calm as the rest of the men do.
The pain is unbearable, you squirm in a last attempt to escape, but soon your vision goes to black as too much blood escapes.
———
You wake up several hours later when your chains begin to clink.
“No..” you mumble, your eyes feeling heavy and impossible to open.
“Shh!” The man says.
You finally open your eyes wide and look down at the foot of the bed to see someone unlocking the chains around your ankles.
When you look closer in the darkness, you see that it’s Donghyuck from the party.
“Donghyuck?” You whisper. He was one of the men in the circle but now he was helping you to escape.
“You have to run, run far from here. You were supposed to go home when I ruined your outfit with the champagne, but it only drove you closer to him..I’m sorry I couldn’t save you.”
He unlocks the chains around your wrists and steps back.
“Where am I?” You whisper.
“You’re about two miles away from the closest town, but you have to run, don’t stop, don’t look back.”
And you did as he had instructed you to do, you snuck out of the house with his help and ran through the yard as you cried. You still felt the pain of the scar Jungwoo drew in your chest, but you had to suffer through it for now, you had to keep running.
You got about a half of a mile out when you ran into a woman. You were running so fast through the woods, you nearly collided into her as she walked her dog.
“Oh my god!” You jumped as you dodged her by just an inch.
“Oh!” She yelped and stepped back.
You slowed down and bent over while panting. You held yourself up on your knees.
“You-you have to run! They’re crazy! Get out of here!” You tried to warn her. She walked up to you and held your back.
“Oh my god...what happened to you? What did they do?”
You broke down. “I can’t..I can't talk now I have to go.”
The slim and young brunette rubbed your back and gave you a reassuring nod. “Sweetie, it’s okay, you’re with me now. You’re safe, I’m gonna help you. Just..slow down, tell me what happened.”
Tears streamed down your face. “They were gonna sacrifice me! There’s a fucking cult! And they were gonna kill me.. please take me to the police station.”
“Oh my god! That’s bizarre! I’m gonna take you to the police right now, don’t worry.” She held you in her arms and walked you through the woods.
You finally felt a sense of relief, like you were free from that maniac.
You thanked God for Donghyuck but you wondered if he would be okay after betraying the rest of them.
You caught your breath, but after walking for about 30 minutes straight, you noticed something odd. There was an “RIP” post made from cement that you kept passing. It felt like you were going in circles.
And then, the lady suddenly stopped.
“Wh-where are we?” You asked with a shakey breath.
She turned to you slowly and gave you a creepy smile.
“Right where we need to be, my child.”
Oh no..
Your eyes widened when you realized that she was a part of it too.
You turned to run, but collided into Jungwoo.
He holds tightly onto you and uses the same knife to stab you in the stomach.
You gasp and lean forward as a sharp pain shoots through your body.
Your mouth falls open, but you’re too stunned to speak.
The lady comes up behind you and turns you around.
“Thank you for your blood, thank you for being a sinner, my husband, Jungwoo, and I will give birth to the baby that will make this world right and it is all thanks to you.” She smiles as she takes the knife out and slits your throat.
Your blood splatters across her face. Her and Jungwoo laugh together as you die slowly in their arms. They drag you back to their house and drain your blood into the bathtub.
They drink it while bathing in it, then they make love. Jungwoo wraps his wife’s legs around his waist as she scratches his back and brings him deeper and deeper into her. He licks up the blood on her nipples while listening to her moan. Their bodies, hair, faces and lips covered in your blood as Jungwoo cums deep into his wife multiple times, planting the seed for their messiah to be born from sin.
After working long hours in the broiling sun of the south, what felt best down his parched throat was a beer––a bar where many of his friends and coworkers drank at, and the waitresses wore low-cut dresses with short hems and long stockings. That sight went down wonderfully with several drinks, but what drew his attention today was a newly opened shop.
There was no sign, but the large, pristine windows gave a good view of the inside. Clean, white walls with several tables and chairs to the left, and a counter to order at on the right. Behind it stood you, dressed to the nines in ruffles and bows as you opened up the shop, displaying buckets of ice cream.
Merriel grinned. Lopsided and toothy, and he jogged inside, sweat and dirt still trailing down his skin and clothes. With his shirt slung over his bare shoulder, he met your eye and his cocky smile returned as his chin tilted high.
"Afternoon," he drawled as he approached the counter, barely grazing over the different flavors before returning to you.
"Good afternoon," you said in a much quieter voice, though you did mimic his smile, just more politely. "How may I help you?"
"You new here?" He asked, gesturing generally to the shop.
"Oh, yes," you said. "My grandmother always wanted an ice cream parlor, so.. I thought I could help her."
"That's awful sweet of ya," he said as he leant on the counter, tilting ever closer to you. "This ice cream sweet as you, boo?"
Your mouth fell open, eyes widening as you did a double take. For a moment you were at a loss for words, but you quickly attempted to stammer out a response, a blush burning your face.
"Well, um, we have, uh, strawberry, and um.. chocolate, vanilla, cherry, and uh, banana. And bourbon."
"Bourbon?" He said, a single brow kinked upwards.
"It's my grandma's favorite," you said with a sheepish chuckle.
"Damn, girl. Grandma knows how to have fun," he laughed.
"Would you like to try it?"
Only if I can lick it off you, he thought, his attention drifting to the soft skin of your neck. The thought of it melting down and pooling in your clavicle. While usually he didn't bother to censor himself for anyone, you seemed a little fainthearted. His chances with you would probably be ruined after one too-strange comment.
"Sure," was what he said instead. "Long as it's cold I don't care."
"I understand that. I moved here recently and it's certainly something to try and adapt to the heat," you rambled as you stuck a tiny plastic spoon in the bourbon ice cream, giving him the single bite. "Are you a local?"
"Been here long's I remember," he said, taking the spoon. "What time do ya get off today?"
"Oh, um," you fixed the ruffles on your collar, "I won't be finished till late. We're not all set up yet."
"If y' need some help, I'd be happy to offer my expertise. I do a hell of a lot a' nailin' things ta the wall."
You stared at him again, once more losing your words. He hadn't quite meant what he said, but the fluster he left you in had him grinning, humored by the connotation you'd incorrectly understood.
"That – that'd be very nice of you," you said, wringing your hands. "I don't want to bother you. You look.. busy."
He didn't miss how your eyes raked up his body, from his wrinkled, dusty pants up his bare waist and chest still gleaming with the sweat of morning work. His jaw could cut hearts and he knew that very well; accented it whenever he could as he cocked his chin upwards, watching carefully as your breath froze.
"I won't be busy tonight. How 'bout this." He walked up right to the counter, pressing his hips into the edge of it. "I come after I finish up ma' own job, and I'll give ya' a hand. Don't even gotta pay me."
"Really? But –"
"Don't worry 'bout it. 'S nothin' for a pretty doll like you."
"At least let me get you a cone? It's hot out today," you offered, reaching for the largest waffle cones you had.
The guys wouldn't really take well to him eating ice cream instead of drinking, but he figured they'd eat their words when they saw you.
"Won't say no to that."
As much as he wanted to boast about you, how pretty and sweet you were and how he so easily slid his way into your life, he didn't want his friends finding your shop and vandalizing it with their own dirty boots and flirtatious looks. Only he could do that.
In the evening he returned as promised, having walked from his house on the outskirts of town to your shop on the main street. The build, decorum, and location of the shop screamed rich family to him. No one in his state would be able to afford a business on main street, much less fully renovated and repainted. He could ask you, he decided, about your family, your grandmother, and of course you.
Inside, you were closing up the tubs of ice cream, hauling them out of the display case and into a back storage room. He knocked before he entered, earning a muffled 'come in!' from you.
Before either of you could speak, both the buckets in your arms began to slip, and he ran round to the other side of the counter to help. He took one from you to ease the load.
"Careful, cher," he said, grabbing another bucket in his other arm. "Don't wanna break yaself."
"Thank you," you said, mostly ignoring his comment. "My grandma is in the other room, so just, um.. be polite and proper."
Fat fuckin' chance, he thought in his head, but fortunately did not say aloud as he followed you.
The door swung open into a freezer room, where an old lady stood in the corner, covered head to toe in coats as she stirred.
"I keep telling you to let me do that," you sighed, setting down your container before rushing to her side.
"I can do it quite well myself. I'm not useless, you know," your grandmother said, staring you down with a glare. You hesitated, gauging her carefully, before you relented with another exasperated sigh.
"Fine, alright," you said quietly. "I'll go work on hanging up all the paintings and such."
"Thank you, dear."
You motioned to him as you passed by, pushing open the door and heading out of the freezer. He once again followed you, watching your ass with a grin you never saw.
"We need to hang up these," you said as you brought him to one of the circular tables, each of which carried a small pile of paintings, license plates, or tin posters.
"You got a ladder?" He asked, glancing to the high walls.
"Yes sir," you said, sorting through the different posters. He quirked a brow, intrigued by the possibility of that nickname.
"I neva did get ya name," he said as he leant on one of the tables.
"(Y/N). What's yours?"
"Pretty name for a pretty doll," he half sung, the same, one-sided smile stretched lazily across his face. "My name's Merriel."
"Also a pretty name," you said, picking the largest poster to start with. A pin-up girl in a sailor's suit. "Our ladder isn't all that steady. Will you hold it for me?"
He opened his mouth to offer himself up, but with one look to the ruffled skirt you wore, he shut himself up.
"'Course," was what he said instead.
Everything was a bit of a game––one you were unwittingly a part of, and one where you played your role rather well. A sweet, unassuming little thing, essentially a toy for him, accepting his help and letting him in. He hated to act the predator, but when it came to you he couldn't help it.
That was how he saw it. Hunting you down and taking you for his own at the end of a long chase. However, to any outsider, it appeared in a much simpler way; a young man doing anything for someone he'd developed a crush on. That was how it truly was, though the innocence of his crush was abruptly stripped away as he held the ladder, staring shamelessly up your skirt.
"Merriel?"
"Huh?" He said, broken out of his dreamy trance.
"I said could you hand me another nail," you said, pointing towards the package of nails with your hammer.
"Oh. You sure ya ain't gonna fall if I leave?" He asked with a grin. You chuckled, shaking your head.
"I'll be alright."
"If you say so, boo."
After a little while he supposed he ought to offer some more help than holding a rickety ladder, and took your place at the top with a hammer in his hand and nails in his mouth. As promised, his experience with nailing things to the wall (nails specifically, not women) made him much faster than you, and the entirety of the wall behind the counter was covered within fifty minutes.
"Thank you for your help, again," you said as you put away the hammer and nails.
"My pleasure," he said, the image of your thighs still fresh in his mind. "If y' ever need help.. I'm happy t' to be of service."
"Well, thank you. Come stop by again soon. On the house," you said as he left, peeking your head out the door and giggling.
"You know I'm stoppin' by again, get two things done in one trip. Some'in sweet for th' eyes and the tongue," he laughed, watching your face light up with a blush.
And it ain't just the ice cream, he thought.
Over the course of the coming summer, he left drinking for the evening, and instead visited your shop over his lunch break. You insisted on giving his cones for free considering he continued to help you out, but he usually found ways to sneak you the money anyway. You were not, as he assumed earlier, a very rich family.
His favorite activity, which he found rather early on, was to sit outside on burning hot days, his shirt draped over the back of his chair as he ate. Through the pristine glass, he spied you watching him often.
You couldn't help it either. Most of your life was spent in your family cabin, cutting you off from many teen and early adulthood experiences. People flirting with you was a lot to deal with, especially when it came from someone as pretty as him, the smooth dips and ripples of his lean muscles shining with sweat and dirt from his construction site.
His tongue. Ever since he made that comment on that first evening you met, you hadn't been able to get it out of your mind. How it rolled and drawled between his puffy lips drawn backwards with his teeth, in a very specific method you'd pinned down to 'the Tongue Thing'.
Your heated, embarrassed blush only worsened as ice cream dripped down his fingers from the heat, cleaned up by a sharp and precise tongue. You could hardly breathe watching him like that, but as he caught your eye you turned quickly away.
His bravado had clearly earned a huge boost from catching you mid-drool, prevalent in his step as he waltzed back into your store. You hardly met his eye, pretending to clean up the counter, but that didn't stop him. He walked right up to you, leaning down with his elbows on the stone, forcing you to stop and look at him, which you did with incredible reluctance.
"You been watchin' me, cher?" He asked, close enough to see his reflection in your wide eyes.
"No," you said quietly.
"A' think you're lyin'," he said, leaning in closer yet. "Betta' not do that. Could land you in some trouble."
You raised your brows.
"Are you threatening me?"
"Not with anythin' ya can't take," he said as he raked his eyes purposefully slow down your body. When you appeared to be at a loss for words, he said, "I'll ask ya again. Were you watching me?"
"... and if I don't answer?" You tested carefully.
"Well then, I think there's too much space between us," he said, grinning cockily as he jumped the counter, crowding you suddenly.
You drew in a sharp breath, backing up as he continued to step forwards till he pinned you to the wall with his hips.
"Tell the truth, baby." he drawled, carefully setting his hands on your hips and pulling you in. Something hard poked you.
"I – I wasn't staring, I –"
He half-grinded into you, pressing you tighter against the wall as his hands drew upwards, resting at your waist.
"Such a pretty thing," he mumbled beneath his breath, watching your stumbling reaction closely.
By pinning you with his hips, he had free roam to move his hands, one of which toyed with the hem of your skirt. It was wrong, certainly, and it was also illegal since you were in plain view of main street, but he lost control the minute his fingertips brushed the soft, supple skin of your thigh.
Your breathing hastened, hips yearning for something, though you didn't know what. When the rough skin of his fingers suddenly brushed inbetween your thighs your hands shot up to steady yourself on Merriel's shoulders. He laughed, running a finger through your lips, finding you already soaked and not wearing underwear. Instantly his laugh faded, devolving into a long, needy moan as his hips once more pushed up into you.
"Th – there's someone – someone coming," you said, eyes darting to the front door.
Immediately he was off you, stepping to the side as you straightened yourself out. You walked forward with shaky legs, which he most definitely noticed, and took the mother and son's orders as usual. When you finished you glanced to him, your heart stopping at the sight of him licking your slick from his fingers.
"I guess your ice cream is as sweet as you, boo," he murmured in your ear, giving you no chance to react before rushing back out to return to his construction job.
Stumbling into Sunshine Bakery was a complete, honest mistake.
Of course you liked bakeries, especially the ones that smelled like pure happiness in the form of fresh-baked cookies and cakes. But a bakery was an exciting place, a stop that you didn’t have time for on your mundane, yet incredibly hurried commute to the worst job you’d ever worked in your life.
“Y-yes, I’m on my way. No, I haven’t--” You sighed into the phone, mumbling apologies as you brushed into yet another person not looking each way before they walked. “I won’t be late. I promise.”
But just as you made your promise and sealed it with a press on the ‘end call’ button, you yelped out and fell to the ground, having been knocked over by someone passing by. To make matters worse, the other pedestrians continued to swarm, almost completely surrounding you as you tried to rush to your feet.
“Hey! Guys, let her stand up.”
“Sorry, Felix,” someone murmured after an unfamiliar voice called out. You turned your face up to the sky, almost as if you expected some kind of miracle to appear in front of you, but instead, you found a black rectangle just above your head and a pair of platform converse just next to you.
Then, a hand, which you accepted. Once pulled up, you were faced with a surprisingly friendly and attractive stranger-- slim, messy blonde hair, and the freckles scattered over his face scrunching with the force of his grin. The little plaque on his chest did read Felix, and as you were hit with the smell of warm brownies on the tray he held, you realized that you had managed to fall just outside the bakery that you had been working up the courage to enter for weeks. “You okay?”
“Yeah. I-- I’m sorry. For falling right in front of you.” You bowed, heat rising to your cheeks as you did.
“Hey, no worries.” Felix’s voice didn’t exactly match his face-- he had a decently heavy Australian accent that only accentuated how deep his voice was, but he smiled in such a way that there was no way he could intimidate anyone. “Can I help you though? If you’re looking for a treat to bring a little sunshine to your day, I have lots of experience in that department.”
The cheesy line shouldn’t have worked for anyone. It should’ve made you cringe and apologize again before heading to work with a growling stomach, but for some reason, you couldn’t seem to do what should be done. Instead, you bowed slightly and let yourself be ushered into the bakery.
And somehow, the plethora of worries clouding your mind were set aside by the simple smell of pastries. Maybe it was a requirement to look like literal sunshine to be inside the bakery; after all, all of the workers and the customers wore a smile almost as large as Felix’s. He returned to the counter, though, and set his tray down before leaning on the glass display case to grin at you yet again. “So? See anything you like?”
“Uh.” You stopped yourself from saying something stupid and bent down to focus on the actual pastries inside. “The... the brownies? Those look really good.”
“You have good taste! I made those,” Felix laughed, pride evident in his voice as he pulled the doors to the case open. “Will that be one or two?”
“Two.” You watched him pull a paper box out, bright tangerine just like the menu hanging above him, and quickly added, “Could I get a coffee too?”
Felix nodded, turning to wave at someone. “Hey, Minho hyung! Stop flirting with Jisung and come make a coffee.”
Yet again, a pretty person appeared, this time a dark-haired man with sculpture-like features. He looked a bit angry as he ruffled Felix’s hair roughly, but he turned to you with a sweet smile that concealed his bullying of his coworkers. “Sorry about that. Americano?”
“Americano’s good,” you agreed quietly, handing Felix your credit card when he held his hand out for it. Over the roar of the coffee machine, you couldn’t hear Minho jibe at Felix, but you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling at seeing the blond boy’s pout, either. “Uh, thank you. Both of you.”
“No problem! Stop in anytime,” Felix called out, waving and leaning on the display case again as you walked out.
As soon as you were hit with the cold, not-cake-scented air outside the bakery, though, you gasped and checked your phone for the time. 8:19-- “Shit. I’m late.”
Tumblr media
Every time that you saw the face of Bang Chan, you cursed your luck with a passion.
It had nothing to do with Chan himself-- actually, you liked him a lot. He was the best supervisor in the entire department you worked with, but he just so happened not to be the one you worked under. He liked visiting all the different offices with a familiar dimpled smile, offering all of the workers the encouragement that their respective supervisors wouldn’t give.
So whenever word spread that he was visiting your office, you always made a point to be in the room, if only just to see his kind grin and catch a friendly wave. After the shitty morning you had, getting yelled at for being 5 minutes late, you made sure to be sitting securely in your cubicle at 5:45 pm for the dose of serotonin that you knew would come after seeing the nicest person in the office.
“Hey everyone!”
Chan’s telltale accent turned the head of every worker in the room; the chorus of “hello”s only widened his smile as he waved both hands, making sure to direct a smile at every single person. “I have a guest today, wanna see who it is?”
It felt remarkably like a classroom as everyone cheered, but you couldn’t help the grin on your face as you clapped too. Chan pushed open the door, revealing two people-- one of whom was very, very familiar. “Everyone, welcome Felix and Seungmin! They brought cookies for everyone.”
To your satisfaction (and slight impending embarrassment), Felix made his way in your direction with a box in hand, gloves on, and the same sunny smile from the morning. “Ah! I saw you this morning, didn’t I?” Felix asked when he reached you, holding the cookies out to you. “Chocolate chip cookie?”
“Y-yeah. Thanks,” you mumbled, accepting the napkin and the treat. “Sorry. Again.”
“Don’t apologize, it’s my fault too,” the blond boy shrugged, leaning on your cubicle. “I’m sorry, though, I don’t believe I caught your name yet.”
You pointed at the placard with your name engraved in black, but answered nonetheless. “Y/N Y/L/N, but don’t do the full name. I’ll think you’re my supervisor.”
Felix frowned, “Chan isn’t your supervisor? That’s a shame. Everyone seems to like him.”
“We do,” you laughed, shifting the cookie around on your desk. “I haven’t met a single person who doesn’t like Chan yet, we all wish he was our supervisor. He’s a lot better than Mr. Kim, anyway. You didn’t hear it from me, but we’re all only working for promotions so we can leave. When Chan brings us cookies, it only makes us want to leave more. ”
“I’m the one who’s bringing you cookies,” he protested, smiling in tandem with you. “Is working under Mr. Kim that miserable, though?”
You shrugged in response, fiddling with a pen. “Uh. It’s not fun, that’s for sure. It just kind of puts a damper on our jobs, even though he doesn’t show up to yell at us often.”
Felix pouted in thought, but when he spotted the other baker making his way towards the two of you, he smiled again and asked, “By the way, how were the brownies this morning? I like getting feedback from customers.”
“Wonderful, but I’m sure you didn’t expect anything else.”
Before you could say anything else, though, you were cut off by the other baker, the one you remembered to be Seungmin. “Hey, Felix! Minho hyung wants us to get back soon, rush hour’s starting.”
Felix shouted back in response, then turned back to you with a grin. “I’m glad you liked them. Will you pop back in sometime? Tomorrow, maybe? I’m always in the shop if you want to see me, and I come to visit Chan sometimes, too.”
You wished you could say no; you had to be working towards a promotion that would get you out of the office and out of Mr. Kim’s grasp. You didn’t have time for bakeries or the bakers inside, just as sweet as the treats they made. But you found yourself smiling, nodding, as Felix pulled away to join his friend. “Yeah. Tomorrow morning, if I can.”
“Okay. Nice meeting you, Y/N,” he waved, jogging to catch up to Seungmin, who had already stepped out of the office with Chan.
As soon as he was gone and everyone around you was caught up in their work, you allowed yourself to bite into a cookie-- and instantly regretted it. Because with the warmth of it, the sweetness of the treat- you knew you’d get addicted. To the cookie, and to the sweet boy who had handed it to you.
Fuck.
Tumblr media
You didn’t exactly know what made you apprehensive about stepping back into Sunshine Bakery, but you did know that your hands were sweaty on the strap of your bag. You knew that your lip hurt from biting down on it, you knew that your shoes were tapping impatiently, and-- you knew that someone was waving at you and opening the door for you.
“Why’re you standing outside?” he grinned. You didn’t recognize him-- he was shorter than both Minho and Seungmin, with a wide grin and blonde hair hidden under a beanie. “Waiting for something?”
“Uh. F-Felix?” you answered, cursing yourself for stuttering. “Yeah. I’m looking for Felix.”
His eyes widened along with his smile as he opened the door further, motioning for you to join the chattering crowd inside. “Ah, another one. Come on in, then-- Felix is inside, that’s why you don’t see him.”
Despite the fact that you didn’t answer him, the boy kept talking, following you into the bakery. “I’m Jisung, by the way. I think I saw you yesterday morning, before Felix called Minho away to make you a coffee.”
“Oh. I’m sorry?”
Jisung shook his head, making his way behind the counter. “No hard feelings. Minho needs some help anyway, he never works.”
“I heard that,” Minho grumbled, stepping out of the kitchen. “Oh, hey, Y/N.”
“You know my name?” you asked, brow furrowed. Thankfully, you’d arrived almost half an hour before you actually had to go to work, so you weren’t worried about your time limit.
The taller of the two boys nodded, reaching to wipe his hands off on a towel. “Yeah, Felix--”
“I heard my name and sensed something embarrassing,” the blond boy himself interrupted, walking outside too. But his face lit up at the sight of you, a smile crinkling his nose. “Hi, Y/N. I’m glad you decided to come.”
You flushed and nodded. “Hi, Felix. Um, could I get... the brownies again?”
“I’m sorry,” Felix frowned, peeking into the case. “We’re out of brownies today, we ran out of cocoa powder.” Jisung jabbed Minho in the side, and the two made their way into the kitchen again, arguing under their breath. The baker in front of you paid them no mind, asking, “Could I get you something else?”
“Anything you recommend,” you blurted out. “I... I trust you to choose something good for me.”
It should’ve been weird. That was a weird line, and you knew that if it had been anyone else, they would’ve been staring at you like they regretted meeting you. But Felix only grinned wider and nodded. “Okay. How does cupcakes sound?”
“Sounds great,” you breathed out and followed him over to the cash register. “Sorry, I’m kind of awkward.”
“Hey, I deal with Jeongin,” Felix shrugged. He handed you the pretty paper box and stapled a receipt on top of it before humming and typing into the register. “I can handle awkward. Have a nice day at work, Y/N. I have a feeling it’ll be great for you.”
You bowed again and accepted the box, wishing your cheeks weren’t flaming hot as you backed out of the shop. Jisung shouted something and waved once you were outside the shop, but all you could think about was that last line. What convinced Felix that your day was going to be great? After all, it wasn’t like he’d never visited the office, he had to know it was miserable.
But before you could think any more about it, you were pressing the elevator buttons like you did every morning, the numbers worn, and the doors closed in on you like the doors to hell.
Tumblr media
“What. The. Hell?”
You stared at the cardboard box on your extremely bare desk, a contrast to the slightly decorated way you had left it just the night before. The box in your hands felt cold as you stood in a suddenly unfamiliar cubicle, all of your coworkers avoiding your eyes. “Did I get fired and no one told me?”
“Y/N?” someone called from the entrance to your department, saving the people around you some embarrassment. There was a woman standing at the entrance, with a sweet smile and long caramel hair that you would’ve appreciated had it not been for the idea of being fired hovering above your head. “Please pick the box up and follow me.”
Wordlessly, you did so, not bothering to wave goodbye to the others as you made your way into the hall. As soon as you were out of earshot, you blurted out, “Did I get fired?”
“What?” She flashed you a confused smile, stopping in her tracks.
“Did I get fired?” you repeated. You felt stupid standing there, your heels incredibly uncomfortable and the tangerine box carefully balanced atop your belongings growing cold. “I just arrived to see my stuff packed up.”
“Oh!” the woman laughed and shook her head. “No, no. You’re being transferred to Chan’s department, he requested it himself. I’m Sana, I’m his co-supervisor. He would’ve come to pick you up, but I lost rock paper scissors.”
And just like that, the smile reappeared on your face. Ever since you had met Chan, had arrived in the company, you had wished that you could work for him instead. On an all-too boring Sunday that shouldn’t have been spent office, your wish was fulfilled, and you bowed deeply to Sana. “Thank you so much,” you sighed in relief. Anything was better than being fired, especially this.
She shrugged and tugged you up, smiling, “It wasn’t my decision, but I’m glad to have you. You’re great, you know, we all thought you’d be promoted by now.”
Heat rose to your ears as you laughed, embarrassed, “Really? That’s a huge compliment, thank you.”
“Of course.” Sana pushed the glass doors to her department open and announced loudly, “Hey! We’ve got a transfer from Mr. Kim’s department today, Y/N will be working with us from now on. Give some applause or I’ll cut your salaries.”
Your new coworkers matched Sana’s joking tone by booing her, but you were met with some clapping and ‘welcome’s anyway. Sana shooed you to what you assumed to be Chan’s office and explained, “He talks to all the new recruits. Go, go, I’ll see you when you come out.”
“Okay.”
Chan grinned and waved at you when you entered the office.“Y/N! Glad to see you made it over okay, I hear Mr. Kim makes things difficult for some transfers.”
Shaking your head, you took the seat across from him. “Oh, no, I didn’t see him today. I thought I got fired, though, because no one told me.”
“Oh, no!” He laughed into his hands, and you couldn’t help but feel like everything was going to be better, just by moving departments and supervisors. “I’m sorry, I should’ve emailed you or something. Felix just--”
“Felix?” You tilted your head in question, your fingers ceasing to tap on your knees. “What does my transfer have to do with Felix?”
Chan shook a hand, the smile still there. “No, you misunderstand. I was already planning on pulling you from the department, hopefully after you got promoted, but you told Felix about how miserable your job was, and when Sana went to ask your coworkers, they all thought the same. So I made the call to transfer you early.”
You could only blink at that, rather dumbly. You weren’t sure how you felt that telling Felix about how horrible Mr. Kim was managed to land you an early transfer, and you definitely weren’t sure how to respond. “Oh.”
“So,” he continued, apparently not fazed by your lack of a response, “I want you to take the day off. It’s Valentine’s Day, and I’m not sure if you have plans...”
No, you should’ve responded. You didn’t have plans, and you had to prove yourself to your new coworkers, but then Felix’s smile and the tangerine cupcake box sitting atop your new desk flashed in your mind. “Yeah. A day off would be nice, thank you,” you bowed, almost missing Chan’s outstretched hand.
“Of course,” he grinned. “Tell me if you need anything, Y/N.”
You didn’t say anything, but just before you slipped out the door, you turned back. “Hey, Chan? One question. How cheesy is Felix?”
Tumblr media
Finding materials for what was quite possibly going to be the cheesiest date proposal in your life (to someone who might not even like you back) turned out to take a lot longer than you thought it would.
So by the time you finally managed to lug your proposal all the way to Sunshine Bakery, the sun was setting and you were hoping for your miraculous luck of the day to not fail you.
And thankfully, when you arrived, someone was just starting to turn the lights off and come outside. Someone with blonde hair, in a beanie and a tangerine apron, and someone who jumped slightly when he turned to find you outside. But Felix waved and opened the door for you with a huge grin. “Y/N, what’re you doing here? Late Valentine’s shopping?”
“Not exactly,” you breathed out, gesturing to the honestly heavy box in your hands. “Uh, I got you flours.”
You were sure that steam was practically coming out of your ears with how embarrassed you were; to be honest, you had never said such a cheesy thing in your life, and you had never wanted to, but Felix’s smile was practically touching his ears as he reached out to take the box from you. The little brown bags had heart-shaped stickers on them, and Felix looked like he was about to melt when he noticed the details. “Is this your incredibly cheesy way of asking a baker out?” he laughed.
“Depends,” you shrugged. “Is it working?”
Felix nodded mock-seriously and jerked his head towards the dimmed bakery. “It is absolutely working. D’you wanna come in?”
You moved to open the door for him, then followed the baker to the kitchen. He set the box of flour down with a grunt, but the grin never left his face. “It’s not going to be much of a date, but we have some great Valentine’s desserts prepped for tomorrow,” he explained and disappeared into the kitchen. “You can sit anywhere, by the way.”
“It’s okay, I’ve always dreamed of watching a cute boy bake,” you joked and sat down on the stools before the counter.
Felix’s voice traveled well even from inside the kitchen, echoing on the walls. “Really? You think I’m cute?”
“Well, I pulled that stupid date proposal off,” you grumbled. “I better think you’re cute.”
He didn’t respond, only arrived again with two heart-shaped cakes in hand and some icing smudged on his face. “Happy Valentine’s day, Y/N.”
“Thank you, Lix,” you smiled. There was more than one meaning to the ‘thanks’, and you assumed that the blonde boy understood as he handed you one of the cakes.
In the mostly dark bakery, Felix’s grin and the LED lights of the kitchen behind him the only things lighting your way, Valentine’s Day was a hell of a lot better than you’d imagined.
WELCOME TO THE FRIEZA FORCE, MY DEAR
(FRIEZA X READER)
::The following story takes place after DragonBall Fighterz villains arc. I do not own any DBZ characters. Enjoy the story!::
Tumblr media
It has been over a month since you had returned to your own body after Frieza kicked you out despite you accepting his offer to join him. Honestly you didn’t have much to keep you here on earth anyway since bad luck had a habit of shooting down your spirits. It all started when you had graduated from high school; your dad suffered from a stroke and eventually succumbed to it within two months, your brother was killed in a car crash with your mother two years later, and just recently you had broken up with your boyfriend whom you’ve been dating for four years after finding out that he was cheating on you with another woman. You’ve at least managed to keep your job at a fast food restaurant thanks to your hard working attitude,however; your heart has been closed off since the breakup and you were tired of all the misery in your life so far that it wouldn’t have even mattered if you ended up robbed, murdered or worse.
Then one day you found yourself linked up with Frieza. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how much of an evil prick he was after the way he spoke to you for the first time. He was obviously not a happy camper when he noticed you were controlling his body and not him. Although you couldn’t necessarily blame him since body snatching wasn’t your cup of tea either. Frieza had openly expressed his disgust towards you many times and while his attitude may have annoyed you to no end you somehow oddly find some comfort in it. Perhaps it was because you too had days where you just had to let out your frustrations though it was all in private. You’ve powered through mentally with Frieza because the sting of your ex’s betrayal was still fresh. But working with the tyrant hasn’t been so terrible not when you had experienced his amazing power which would’ve been found in a comic book or a superhero movie. You felt invincible, untouchable almost like a god and you loved it especially the flying part.
The link you had with Frieza had become more stronger with each battle and along the way you encountered Nappa, Captain Ginyu and the Ginyu force, Cell, Goku, Vegeta, Krillin,and the rest of the z fighters. Through them you experienced each of their own unique powers and got along with most of them. Even Frieza was showing subtle signs of him warming up to you which you were grateful for. But deep down you couldn’t help but develop some attachments to the emperor of the universe himself. You weren’t sure if he had felt the same way as you when he had offered you a position in his army after you both took out Android 21 and you knew for a fact that you wouldn’t make a good soldier since part of Frieza’s requirements to joining the Frieza force included strength which you weren’t confident about despite how well you were doing with the link. But of course if it meant that you could start your life anew and leave your misfortune behind then you’d gladly take it. Then afterwards Frieza had warmly welcomed you to join his forces when Android 21 was taken down at last. You smiled at the thought of being in space looking at the stars and planets while riding in a spaceship boldly going where no human has ever gone before. Suddenly Frieza, Cell, Ginyu and Nappa immediately began charging up when their powers had returned to them, getting ready to attack Goku and the gang and before you knew it Frieza chased you out of his body so he could fight Goku without you holding him back. Devastated and heartbroken at the tyrant’s actions you took to the skies leaving Frieza to exact his revenge on his sayian nemesis.
That was the last time you saw him and you never got to tell him how you felt about him. You shook your head as you headed into work wiping away your tears deciding that you were better off without him anyway. You didn’t have much to offer to a guy like that except for your loyalty and love which you doubted that he would be capable of. Two hours in and the events of last month had already been pushed to the back of your mind as you worked hard cleaning dishes, prepping up food, and sweeping up the floor. The lights flickered faintly above and you thought to yourself that the light bulbs must be starting to give out. You were wiping down the tables when a random guy came up to you in an attempt to flirt with you but you ignored him completely.
“What time do you get off, cutie?” The man asked you.
“Sorry sir but I cannot indulge such information to someone I do not know.” You said with a customer friendly tone which surprised you internally to hear such words coming from your own mouth. Apparently you picked up some of Frieza’s elegant speech pattern while you were linked with him.
The man looked surprised in a happy way. “Fancy way of talking, eh? Then how about you let me take you somewhere fancy to eat after you get off?”
“No thank you.” You said as you started to get irritated with him. The lights above you started to flicker.
“Don’t be like that, baby. I can treat you real nice.” The guy insisted.
“Please sir, I have work to do and I am not interested. Have a nice day.” You told him as you kept your tone friendly while your temper was rising. The lights flickered faster causing several of the staff and customers to look in confusion.
“C’mon don’t tell me that a pretty face like you already has a boyfriend?” Inquired the guy.
Now it was starting to get too personal for your liking as the memories of your ex flowed into your mind like a stream of water. Anger was bubbling up as the flickering lights intensified causing everyone to become concerned and even scared. “That is no concern of yours. Now please leave me alone and have a nice day.” You clenched your teeth as you managed to say in a sweet tone while keeping a grip on your temper. You were getting ready to head back into the kitchen when you felt a hand grab your arm and pulled you back.
“What’s the matter, bitch?” The guy hissed. “You think you’re too good to have a good time with guys like me?” He smelled like he hasn’t bathed in a week and his grip on you grew tighter.
Your coworkers and a few customers saw this and attempted to get him to let you go. But the guy insisted that he was your boyfriend and that it was no one’s business.
“SHUT UP JACKASS! YOU’RE NO ONE TO ME!” You yelled angrily at him and at that same time the lights that were flickering above you exploded. Everyone in the store screamed and covered their heads as glass fell upon them. A fire broke out causing several staff members to grab fire extinguishers and put out the fire.
The customers ran out screaming in panic as you were also running out of the store. You didn’t know what was going on but you did know that this had never happened in the restaurant before. So why now? Sounds of police sirens were drawing close as was the firefighters and you just hoped that no one got hurt. Suddenly you felt arms grabbing you by the waist and you were then carried off by someone.
“Hey! Let me go!” You exclaimed. “Put me down! What do you think you’re doing!”
“It’s just us, human!” Said a familiar gruff yet friendly voice.
You turned to see none other than Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu force. “Ginyu!” You cried as you instantly gave him a hug.
“Don’t forget about us, sheila!” Jeice said happily.
“Hey Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo! It’s great to see you guys again!” You grinned as you saw the rest of the Ginyu force. “But how did you know where to find me?”
Ginyu pointed to the scouter on his face. “We detected your ki with these and by the looks of it your ki skyrocketed to another level!”
You looked at him confused. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Didn’t you see what had just happened at the restaurant?” Burter asked pointing back to where your job was.
You felt your heart sink as you came to realize what they were talking about. “I did that?”
“You sure did!” Recoome said with a smile.
“But that’s never happened before. I don’t understand why it would happen now.” You said still trying to grasp the reality of the situation.
Ginyu looks at you with a sympathetic expression on his face. “Perhaps it’s because you were linked with Lord Frieza and that his ki has awakened yours.”
You looked up in surprise. “Really?”
“That’s the only explanation that I can think of. But let’s get you to Lord Frieza first.” Ginyu said taking off into the sky with the others.
“So Frieza wants to see me now after he booted me out?” You said in a sarcastic tone.
“My apologies, huma-“
“It’s Y/n.” You interrupted Ginyu.
“Y/n. Please forgive Lord Frieza. He has been humiliated twice by Goku and needed to get his revenge for it.” Ginyu said.
You huffed. “Did he succeeded?”
“All I can say is that it ended in a stalemate.”
“Figures.” You rolled your eyes.
“I don’t mean to speak out sir but is no one going to say anything about y/n here being a woman?” Guldo asked.
“Is there something wrong with that?” You asked with a small smile.
“No. Not at all. Just surprised is all.” Guldo said.
Minutes later aboard Frieza’s ship....
Frieza stood by the window as you entered with the Ginyu force leading ahead.
“Lord Frieza, we’ve brought the human with us.” Ginyu said as he bowed.
“Excellent work, Captain Ginyu.” Frieza said in a happy tone while turning slowly to face you. “It has been awhile my dear. You look so much lovelier in person.” He smiles his usual smile that you had come to recognize as his causal expression.
“You don’t seem surprised that I am a girl.” You said observering him and then noticed his tail wiggling about almost like Frieza was glad to see you in the flesh.
“I had Nappa keep a close eye on you afterwards since Saiyans can be easily passed off as humans when their tails are well hidden that is.” Frieza said as he approached you.
“Well no wonder why Nappa has been absent lately.” Guldo mumbled.
You turned your head to glare at Ginyu and the others. “Scouter my ass. You already knew where I was at, didn’t you?”
“Easy Y/n, we weren’t lying about the scouters picking up your ki level. Besides even with Nappa we aren’t familiar with the city you were living in.” Ginyu said.
Frieza cleared his throat getting your attention back onto him who was directly standing in front of you face to face. “As I was saying; I had ordered Nappa to watch over you after the Android 21 incident. When you left I sensed a slight change in your ki and made a mental note to look into it after I delt with that damned Saiyan Goku.”
“I was told that it was a stalemate.” You said.
Frieza grimaced. “It would not have been such a stalemate if Cell hadn’t tried to steal my glory for the last time.” His tail curled up much like how a fist would ball up in anger.
“Did you....kill him?” You asked.
“No, of course not. Goku’s eldest son already did him in with Maijin Buu.” Frieza said. “But enough of that. I believe we have much to discuss about your future here on the Frieza force.”
“Thanks but there’s a concern that I’d like to address with you. Namely my sudden ki rising. Captain Ginyu said that it was the result of our souls being linked together. Is it true?” You asked.
Frieza watched you before motioning for Ginyu and the others to leave the room. They did so without hesitation and now it was just you and him alone. “Indeed it is as you were told. The slight increase of your ki didn’t happen when you and I first met but after destroying Android 21 was when it changed. I have surmised that while you were linked with me your ki was being amplified by mine thus causing it to grow with each battle we’ve faced. Though it is not as strong as mine it’ll at least give you a bit of an edge to defend yourself with.”
“How long do you think it’ll last?” You asked.
Frieza closed his eyes and sighed in annoyance. “Don’t you understand what this means exactly? I’m saying this is permanent. That this newly awakened ki is what you’ll be living with from now on.”
You were dumbfounded at this. You now had powers of your own and yet you were unsure about how to handle it. Or if you could handle it. “Oh boy.” You covered your face with your hands as you rubbed your eyes with them. “This is a lot to take in.”
“For you I have no doubt that it is.” Frieza said flicking his tail casually. “Fortunately you will have plenty of time getting use to it in my army.”
“I probably might but there’s also the issue of controlling it. Before the Ginyu force picked me up I was getting upset with this one guy trying to make a pass at me and when I lost my temper the lights exploded above us.” You told him.
Frieza hummed with curiosity. “Certain emotions often trigger such power like yours. Perhaps that will be something we can work on together.” His tail then slowly wraps around your waist as he pulls your body into his. “I’m sure that you will find it most enjoyable.”
You blushed at how close you were to him and even more so when his tail pulsed. “Frieza? Just to be honest with you, I’m still upset with you for kicking me out.”
“I had a score to settle with Goku. You of all people should understand that. Especially with the amount of time that we’ve spent together sharing the same body.” Frieza said in a stern tone as he took your chin into his hand. “It’s Y/n, yes?”
You nodded.
Frieza smiled his mischievous and cruel smile. “Welcome to the Frieza force, my dear y/n.”
Potential Breakup Song | Jack Daniels
Tumblr media
Ship: Jack Daniels x Reader Summary: It’s your birthday, and all you want to do is have a few drinks with your boyfriend, but when he doesn’t show, your coworker, Jack, takes it upon himself to check on you Word Count: 2.2k+ Tagging: @the-purity-pen  Author’s Note: Ok so this... idk how this happened tbh. BUT I’d kind of love to write more for these two, I have some slight ideas, but idk... so if you’d like to see something more please let me know!
Sitting there alone at the little booth you had claimed over an hour earlier certainly wasn’t how you had expected the evening to go. You had been happy, excited even, when you finally grabbed your coat to leave Statesmen for the day, readying yourself for a proper, fun night out with your boyfriend.
Sure, you’d had to remind him twice already to meet you at the little bar you liked that was not far from work, and sure maybe it would have been fun to invite some friends too, but this was your birthday, and even having a few drinks with your man seemed better than nothing.
But the day had seemed to drag on, as if it knew you were anticipating the well-needed break.
With every knock on the door, a part of you couldn’t help but hope for something, although you couldn’t quite tell what.
Would it have been nice if your coworkers had realised what day it was? Sure. But then, hiding it off facebook had been your decision, and you couldn’t truly blame them for not knowing when you were so careful about keeping things separate between work and home. But with each interruption to your work came a following disappointment. Reports were required, devices needed testing, and not one person seemed to have anything but more work to add to your pile.
Dread was dancing in your periphery, but you refused to give into it.
You had decided this. You had been the one to do that damn stupid idea and hide your information in some desperate plea that someone would remember you even without the irritating little notification Facebook offered. You couldn’t blame others for your own actions, no matter how much it hurt to feel so damned forgotten on your birthday of all things.
But, as you sat alone in the booth at your favourite bar, well, that dread sure was starting to egg away at you.
Another glance at your phone, a silent reminder of just how long you’d been waiting along with the lack of any explanation, only helped solidify your negativity. What if he wasn’t coming? What if he’d forgotten too?
The drink you’d been nursing for the better part of an hour sat before you, the ice had melted into the mix, making it weak and watery as you took a hesitant sip once more. If he wasn’t there by the time you finished, you’d leave. That’s what you’d said to yourself some thirty minutes ago when the drink had arrived. But even you could see you were drawing out the inevitable now, taking slow sips in the hopes of prolonging what little chance there was.
“Either that’s the worst damn drink you’ve ever had, or somethin’s on your mind,” a familiar voice almost cooed from above you, amusement tangling with something you couldn’t quite place as the silhouette of Agent Whiskey blocked out a good portion of the bar.
Offering a half hearted smile, you took a determined gulp of the drink in your hand, stubbornly meeting his gaze as you did so. There was always something about the agent that brought out a fierce competitive side in you, and maybe it was the sheer determination to not appear as pathetic as you felt, but you found yourself offering a smirk as you placed it down on the table without a word, silently challenging him.
“Alright, maybe not,” he offered a chuckle, lips pulling into a smile and drawing out that dimple that caught far too much attention.
“Something I can help you with, Whiskey?” and damn it, that didn’t come off half as harsh as you had hoped. Hell, it didn’t even come off sarcastic. The usual fire in your tone seemed lost, and you could only hope he didn’t hear the way your voice broke ever so slightly with the question.
You weren’t used to this. You’d kept your private life private for a reason, kept yourself away from the work functions and the celebratory drinks in the hopes of distancing yourself from the people you worked with for the most part, and now, having him in front of you out in the real world, when you were already so damn close to breaking… it wasn’t something you were quite prepared for.
“You looked like you could use some company,” he answered simply with a shrug, and if his eyes hadn’t blazed with that intensity you’d seen so often when he was in the field, you might just have believed he was as nonchalant as he attempted to appear.
But his statement brought another thought, more harrowing than the last, and you had to take another sip of your drink to wet your suddenly dry throat as it plagued you.
“How long have you been watching me?”
With a sigh, that playful smirk you’d seen so often slipped from his lips. With a quick point to the opposite side of the booth, he waited until you nodded your consent before slipping in with yet another sigh, but still he didn’t answer your question.
“Don’t see you around here often,” and it almost sounded like a line, were it not for the curious way his gaze took you in as he spoke.
Your shrug was an attempt at something casual, but you knew he was too damn good at reading people to fall for that. “Maybe it wasn’t my idea,” it was. “Maybe someone asked me here,” they didn’t.
But he seemed to read more from your words than you thought you had offered, his attention falling from you to the drink in your hand, before darting around the room and landing on the door.
“Well, he’s a damn fool to leave you waiting,” he huffed, and, while you still felt on edge being around the agent you worked with day in and day out, a small, albeit genuine, smile broke through your demeanour.
It was just a line, just a statement anyone would make upon hearing someone had potentially been stood up. Your mind was screaming at you to remember that it didn’t truly hold the weight you desperately wished it did. But your heart clung to those words.
Were you really this desperate for someone to actually care about you on your birthday that you were clinging to hollow words said out of propriety? Damn, maybe you were. Maybe Ginger had been right all along, you really should go out with her some time, maybe having some real friends at work wouldn’t be all that bad after all.
“Alright, what about this,” Jack broke your harrowing line of thought with that charming smile he had down pat. “I buy you a drink, we relax, have a good time… if he shows, he shows, and I’ll leave y’all to it, if not, well, hopefully I’m not the worst company.”
A laugh, the first you’d managed all day, escaped your lips as you shook your head at the cowboy’s poor attempt at humility.
“Why would you do that?” the question sounded meeker than you would have liked, and you had to glance away when his confused gaze met yours. But the bar was filled with distractions, even if it wasn’t particularly busy, and you quickly clung to them as you regained some sort of a backbone. “You know damn well half the bar is eyeing you off, you don’t need to waste your evening on me, Jack.”
If his breath caught at hearing your slip up, hearing you utter his name for the first time in far too long, well, he was damn good at hiding it behind that playful smirk. But there was still that shine to his gaze as he watched you so intently that you could feel it even as you focused on swirling the small remainders of your drink.
“And leave you to this lot?” he questioned playfully, raising a brow as he gestured around you both comically. “Honey, I know all too well what these types would do to a pretty lil thing like you, all alone.”
“You would know,” you scoffed a laugh, and, damn it, how was it so easy to relax around him? You’d known him for years, sure, but never personally, always keeping that carefully concocted professional appearance in place.
“Darlin’, are you implying something here?” there it was, that playful lilt to his tone that he always seemed to offer at just the right time, almost cracking your hard exterior more times that you’d care to admit.
“You forget, Whiskey,” you pause, giving him a pointed look that didn’t quite have its usual impact as your lips desperately struggled to hide that playful smile that wanted to break free. “I’ve been on the other end of the comms during far too many of your missions. I know all too well what you’re capable of.”
The smirk he gave in response held a twinge of danger, his eyes lighting up as he leant forwards just enough to capture your full attention. This was a side of Jack you had seen through his glasses many times, a side he hadn’t shown you since you shot him down cold at the very beginning of your working together, and it was a side that could thrill even the most cold hearted of individuals, you were sure.
“Oh, darlin’, you have no idea.”
Well, that certainly shouldn’t have affected you as much as it did.
You’d been working with Whiskey for years now, you knew all too well what he was like, how much he liked to flirt and mess around. You’d watched through his glasses camera on numerous occasions as he flirted his way into the beds of targets, each time rolling your eyes to yourself because you’d surely never fall for something so cheesy.
But then, you’d always been safely seeing things from his perspective, hadn’t you? You’d never seen that intense gaze he offered along with those words, never watched as his tongue darted out to wet those plush lips… damn, maybe you weren’t as strong as you had always thought.
“Babe, hey!” a puffed out breath came from beside you, drawing your attention away from the perfect cupid’s bow that was hidden behind that neatly trimmed moustache.
You almost jumped at the sound, turning quickly to see your boyfriend standing there, looking none too happy to see you sitting there with another man, and, despite the fact you’d been waiting for, was that two hours now?, you felt guilt creep in.
“Hey!” you offered the brightest smile you could, even if it felt somewhat off as you glanced between the two men.
They couldn’t have been more different if they tried. One, the epitome of the suave cowboy, the other in what he so affectionally labelled ‘prime casual fashion’, or, as you secretly called it, jumped up t-shirts that had no right to charge as much as they did. Jack was leaning back in the booth, exuding comfort and confidence, while your boyfriend stood there glancing between you and Jack with a tense jaw. In fact, the only similarity between the two seemed to be the intense fire that sat in their gazes as they eyed one another up.
Oh good, yet another display of stupid macho masculinity. With a roll of your eyes, you cleared your throat, quickly gaining the attention of the silently feuding men. “Jack, this is my boyfriend, Tim-”
“Timothy,” Tim interjected, standing up even straighter, as if the use of his full name would hold some form of power.
Closing your eyes to avoid rolling them once more as you watched him look down his nose at Whiskey, you ignored the interruption. “Tim,” you started once more, more than a hint of irritation in your tone at the fact the same man who had left you waiting for so long was now trying to play some kind of stupid game. “This is Jack, we work together.”
It seemed the two didn’t particularly care about introductions, or, for that matter, manners, as they continued to stare at one another in silence for a long moment.
“I’ll leave y’all to it,” Jack spoke suddenly, breaking the tense atmosphere with a nod as he moved far too smoothly out of the booth. How he always seemed to move with such elegance had often caused you to wonder. It didn’t seem to match the macho cowboy exterior he gave off, but worked so seamlessly when he was in a fight. It was a part of him, small and subtle, that had caught your attention more times than it ought.
Only when Tim sidled up next to you, pushing you further into the booth did your mind fall back to reality with a frown. Words were already falling out of his mouth, mentions of his day, of the clients he had dealt with, and not a word of apology for how late he was, and that same resignation you had felt earlier seemed to sweep over you once more.
“Happy birthday, Y/N,” Jack spoke softly, the words somehow a farewell. His smile was gentle as he met your surprised gaze.
And then, just as suddenly as he had appeared, he was gone, leaving the bar’s doors swaying after him as your boyfriend clambered for your attention.
