That people don't get that the alien chose the form of a little kid, a little black girl, mind, as the thing the doctor would be the most likely to protect because the doctor is broken up and horrified that once upon a time Tecteun found a little black girl and did horrifying things to her instead of loving and/or saving her is one hell of a thing.
That thing in flux where 13 proclaims that she'll never get to know what her life could have been if not for Tecteun and she is horrified and distraught, it's clear as day on her face. That's what's at the root of her horror. The realisation of all abuse victims that you will Never get to find out what you'd be if it had never happened. Grief.
She apologised to the creature for what the master did to it and she wasn't even guilty! All she did was save her! That's so brutally Wrenching.
The story is about the cycle of abuse. 13 basically died breaking the cycle of abuse. Literally I see people complaining that thirteen didn't react to the timeless child information at all like the whole of Flux isn't her almost ruining her relationship with Yaz bc she's obsessed with it, like the universe didn't almost die bc she got too distracted to notice it imploding. Like in the end, the thing she is most hardwired to Save isn't a little girl just like the one she once was.
This is YA the TV show, come on.
#dw shit#like sorry but none of this is complicated#like some deep meta moments get complex but the basic plot is not hard in the slightest#it's age appropriate obvious#with the ability to look further in if you're an older viewer#which is the idea with all of nu!who#i mean#the abuse plot is an imprialism take down on a civilisation level when examined more deeply. but the girl thing is so obvious all you need#to do is look at the screen at both girls.

Learning things abot how imprial propoganda and the imperial cult is from darktide dialouge and cosmetic lore, has made something VERY clear: the imperium is very lucky too not have large swaiths of its population fall to khorne due to official propoganda and religion
Falling to Khorne worship is genuinely a risk for Imperial death cults, so you’re fairly on the money

“Counterfeit Engraving Outfit Seized By Toronto Police,” Toronto Star. November 17, 1932. Page 3. ---- In raiding a Dovercourt Rd. house yesterday afternoon, Detective-Sergts. Harold Waterhouse and Fred Storm, with Sergt. Robinson of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, seized a counterfeit engraving set, which they described as ‘the most complete outfit’ seized by police in years. The alleged owner and engraver of the $5 and $10 plates by which Imperial Bank bills were to be reproduced, Herbert Cullen, 42, was arrested and taken to West Dundas St. station, where he was held overnight, bail being set at $10,000. Cullen’s arrest yesterday was the sequel to the capture of an alleged counterfeiting gang in Kitchener last Tuesday by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Joseph Weyman, his brother Frank, Louis Bolitsky and Beatrice Gillis, the arrested parties, are alleged to have paid Cullen $276 for the plates manufactured form the counterfeiting outfit shown above. It is composed of a complete photographic outfit, with presses, dyes, acids, and powerful 2,000-watt lamps. It was all removed from the Dovercourt Rd. address and taken to detective headquarters.
“Counterfeiting Tools In Cellar, Say Police,” Toronto Star. November 17, 1932. Page 2. ---- H. Cullen, Jobless Engraver, Arrested Yesterday Remanded on $10,000 Bail ---- Herbert Cullen, 42, jobless engraver living on Dovercourt Rd., who was charged with counterfeting when his home was raised yesterday by Detectives Waterhouse and Storm and Sergeant Donald Robinson of the R.C.M.P. was remanded until Nov. 24 in police court today. Bail was set at $10,000.
His arrest came as a sequel to that of three men and one women in Kitchener on Tuesday. They are alleged to have had in their possession a copper plate for reproducing $10 Imprial Bank notes.
In Cullen’s cellar police report they found six tanks of acid, a 2,000-watt flashlight, an engraving camera, plates, engraving machinery, tools and two red lights for developing.
Cullen is alleged to have confessed that he was working for a gang in Kitchener. The arrest was made following a tip from Kitchener.
Many Bills in Circulation Many complaints have been received in the past six months from Kitchener to Windsor about the plague of counterfeit bills which have been circulating.
In the police raid led by the Mounted police in Kitchener, Tuesday night, Joe Weyman, his brother, Frank, of Waterloo, Louis Bolitsky, and a woman, Beatrice Gillris of Kitchener, were arrested on charge of having counterfeit plates in their possession. The plates, it is alleged, were to reproduce $5 and $10 Imperial Bank bills and had been made by an engraver living in Toronto. The arrested parties appeared in police court yesterday and were remanded in custody until November 23.
‘That’s all,’ said Magistrate Arthur Tinker in early men’s court to-day, as the last of four ‘drunks’ left the dock. The quartet of inebriates were the only men to face the magistrate.
John Murphy had been here before on drunken charges, and was accordingly fined $50 or two months.
Henry Hull and Johan Enyblon were adjudged to be ‘not quite sober yet’ and were ordered to remain in custody until to-morrow for their hearing. The latter laughed uproariously when asked if he pleaded guilty to being drunk.
The fourth man was a first offender and was remanded for sentence.
Clarence Bowen was charged with doing malicious damage. He asked that the case be adjourned. One of his eyes was not on looking terms with the other and he opened his mouth and pointed to where there were two teeth missing.
‘He wants to lay charges of assault against someone,’ said Crown Attorney Malone.
The case was adjourned until November 24.
Harry McIntyre, wearing a stylish brown suit and carrying a wooly overcoat on his arm, pleaded guilty to the theft of a white gold wristwatch.
‘He pawned the watch for $10 but has made restitution,’ said Mr. Malone.
After being asked to pay $3 court charge, accused was put on suspended sentence and probation for 6 months.
Walker Symons was jailed for 14 days for the theft of a bicycle.
Charged with causing bodily injury, H. B. Eaton was remanded until December 22.
A charge against Bert Eskou of theft was withdrawn when two counsels told Magistrate Browne that it was a partnership matter.
Had Burglar Tools Is Charge Charged with having burglar’s tools, Max Walsh, Jose Dorenzio, Mike Pacello and Nathan Tusher were remanded until November 24.
Three of them went into custody and Tusher’s bail was fixed at $1,000.
Robert Bennett pleaded not guilty to a charge of receiving five fur coats and reserved election.
The coats which he is alleged to have received were stolen by Jack Conson from Harold Benson’s fur store. Conson was last week sentenced to one year definite and six months indeterminate in the Ontario reformatory.
Conson testified that he had sold the stolen coats to Mr. Bennett personally for $150. Benson claimed that the coats were worth $1,500.
Magistrate Bornw said he had heard sufficient evidence and committed Bennett for trial.
Arthur Russell and Harry Browne were charged with the theft of $5 worth of lumber. The owner said that it was one think and 12 inches wide.
‘Oh, slats,’ said Mr. Malone. ‘No,’ replied the owner.
‘Well, joists,’ pursued the crown. ‘No,’ was the answer.
‘Don’t listen to Mr. Malone,’ Magistrate Browne told the witness, ‘he doesn’t know anything about the lumber business.’
When it was learned that the lumber had been returned the boys were allowed to go and the charge was withdrawn.
Three charge of false pretences were preferred against Reginald Ames.

long lost lover !! how bittersweet it is to see the once MIGHTY , feared tigress , now reduced to that of a flower whose petals wilt with the coming of season’s cold. truthfully .. this isn’t how she winter expected to meet sienna once more ; nym expected to be summoned to the leader’s throne &. side in a grandeur display of longing , to be called ‘pon as though a grand event flourishing with the passion they once knew , but instead … it’s the very opposite. upon cold forged tongue does ‘ I TOLD YOU SO ‘ linger , yearning &. clawing at vocals &. the brims of lips for release , though she refuses. ( ms khan’s CERTAINLY had enough , no ? )
❛ look at you … ❜ timbre soft , gentle &. matching the way claw tipped , gloved hands caress sienna’s cheek. nym would NEVER admit weakness , but she’d be a liar of she were to say such a sight doesn’t tug at the icy heart residing within rib cage. ❛ you look like a house cat caught in a thunderstorm , sienna. what happened to the mighty reign we once talked about ? ❜ @imprial + unprompted.

For sure you'll hate everything I ask: is Dirk the last living male Harris hawk or what? I won't be surpised if 7 are his current mates excluding dead or divoresed. I am sure Haris hawks will be bonded to relatives in the future. Is sounds like horse breeding actually. And how many children he has exactly? Is Del the most unlucky one to resemble him? Let's get to Reamer, is related to every other female Imprial Eagle that his mother him a bride from a close enough spicies to theirs.
Yup. And he has a lot of kids lol.

"charlie." her voice booms through the throne room. "may i speak with you?" her eyebrows raise, and she shoos her guards away for the time being. "/alone?/"
unprompted / aa. / @imprial
there is most definitely something childish about the way charlie rocks on her heels, fists jammed into her pockets as the guards walk past her. it’s like they’re the older sibling, who’s had some kind of mischief pinned on them since they should know better, and charlie walks off scot free. neither of them like her, that much is obvious with the threatening stare the taller one casts her direction, and the deep scowl it morphs into when she flashes him a wink back. it’s fine, she’s used to it, it’s like miserable people just don’t know how to handle sheer pleasantness.
“should i be worried, your high imperial majesty-ness?” she says, extending a leg and sliiiiiding closer to the bottom of the stairs. she’s smart enough to bend a knee when she gets there, but that doesn’t stop the lopsided grin that immediately follows the bow of her head, or the lackadaisical manner in which her wrist hangs close to the floor. it’s not intentional disrespect, charlie’s just never been very good with formality.
“so, what did i do to earn a private session with the high leader herself?” she straightens, licking her lips and eyeing the whip that rests ‘round sienna’s waist like a snappy belt (alright, fine, she’s a little nervous too). “gotta assume it’s never usually a good sign but hey!” her hands lift, palms upwards in the slightest of shrugs. “if i’m gonna die today, i can think of worse folk could be doing the killing.”

I read 1dchan and I was furious the way the website glorifies the poor little Imprial guardsmen and the “good guy” Primarch of Vulkan , Sangrinus, and Corax. And have people forgot that their all Xenocidal shit lords. Considering the indoctrinated hate Guardsmen receive for traitors, I presume brutal torture is reserved to Gu’vesa.
Yeah I wouldn’t advise reading 1d4chan, except for the tactica sections maybe. I haven’t read it a long time and, I mean, it’s content from /tg/ so I don’t expect anything great from it.
