I got this comment from @immdreamz on one of my Pritchard posts and I thought it might be useful to answer it this way.

Here's my ts3 settings!

I truthfully can't tell the difference between Water & Super Water, or the difference in Tree quality and I'm not terribly bothered by the number of High Detail Lots or Draw Distance so I'm okay with having those slightly lower. I CAN tell the difference if I lower Sim Detail though so that is the main setting I must keep at the highest level.

Also before each time I play I change TS3W.exe to High priority in task manager as well as under Set Affinity ticking the boxes for CPU 1-10 of the total 19. When I started doing those two things eliminated 99.9% of lag so overall my game runs fabulously! 💪

That being said, the only major issue I have is the game consistently runs out of memory after about 2 hours of playing. 😅 I suppose that's the trade-off for my higher settings and 16GB of alpha CC. I just make sure that NRAAS Saver saves every 6 sim hours so that I never lose much when it inevitably crashes. And I regularly use Regul Save Cleaner and Master Controller Reset Everything as well as Error Trap, Overwatch etc. I do also have LazyDuchess' Smooth Patch.

But generally speaking, my ts3 game runs the best it's ever ran. Who knew $3000 laptops were worth it?

Last Show: This is hard because I don't really watch shows much anymore. I mostly stick to YouTube and audiobooks...you know stuff I can throw on in the background because I have a million things to do and no attention span. However, the second part of the last season of Manifest just came out on Netflix and I'm fixing to lose my mind watching it, so let's say that one. Future show, last show, it's all relative, time is an illusion.

Currently reading: Pretty much a similar answer. I don't have much of an attention span or time to sit down and read a physical book with my eyeballs anymore but I listen to audiobooks a lot. Right now, I'm finishing up Bare-faced Messiah by Russell Miller, which is a biography of L. Ron Hubbard, the creator of Scientology. It...explains a lot, let's just say that. 😬

Current Obsession: Probably a weird answer but my kitchen. 😮 Those of you who have read my insane ramblings lately (omg thank you but also I'm sorry lol) know that I recently embarked upon a depression cleaning quest in my house and while I'm not completely finished, my living room and my kitchen are ✨flawless✨ rn and I want to cry big sloppy joy tears every time I go out there. My kitchen in particular is my new happy place. It's been so long since I've seen clean counterspace. I can cook real food again! I've never enjoyed cooking in the past but I'm living for it right now. It's so nice to be able to move around and have everything be sanitary and organized again. THIS WAS PROBABLY MORE THAN ANYONE WANTED TO KNOW, SORRY lmao

I have been on meds that mimic pregnancy on and off for two-thirds of my life. They didn't really affect my weight until I went back on them after being off for a bit and having my first for real kid. Now I have four kids, relatives who try to sell me weight-loss products when they're in town (PASS) and no fucks left to give about what shape I am.

Ugh, your relatives sound frustrating. My fairly sudden weight gain (the last couple of years) has been med-related, too. And having had two children, the weight seems to collect mostly in that area. A passing stranger once said to me: "You carry the boys high." Um, that's nice? I have a Renaissance figure - pear shaped with a high waist - so I got this even when I was skinny.

So this stranger was psychic as well as rude--they even knew the gender of your supposed baby! I get this a few times recently. I'll be out with my youngest and I get something like "wow! Having another one already! You must love babies!" - nope, I just really love pasta.

”I just love pasta.” haha! I like that. I had a friend who said it was a “food baby”. I think it’s fairly common for this to happen postpartum, which is not good because of the hormones present during that time. It can be incredible awkward when kids do this, because they don’t know yet to realize they’ve been rude. It’s something that should be taught to kids, I think, not to comment on people’s appearance. I am pregnant-shaped too. As in, I'm overweight with most of my weight on my belly, so I really do look as if I'm going to have a baby. Does not give people the right to comment on it :(

Even if it's super obvious that someone's pregnant, it's rude to bring it up before they do. Pregnant people get treated like public property all too often. And if you're not sure, that's even worse—you're potentially going to make someone with tummy chub feel bad. ��

Yeah, “Nope, just fat”! haha. I’ve tend to say simply “No, I’m not” or “No, I’ve just gained some weight.” Pretty straightforward. I made that mistake a couple of years ago with a friend of mine. I hadn't seen her in ages and the first thing I did was ask if she was pregnant. The look on her face was priceless. I immediately apologized. Oops.

I get it a lot from the kids at the school where I work. It's fine if they're five, but when their parents join in I have to be all like 'actually no' - it's just awkward for everyone

If I was the parent in that situation, I’d explain to my child not to say that because it’s not nice to assume. And we all know what they say about when you assume, right?

Oh, I wish I could join you in Destiny. That definitely looks like my type of game. Unfortunately I don't have xbox and I've never played on consoles.

I enjoy it a lot even if the content can get a bit dry. Destiny 2 is set to be released this year and it will also be on the PC (maybe). I’m looking forward to it!

I mostly play with the husband but sometimes his friends or people we have met through the game will join in as well.

I’m taking a break from doing anything on the computer this week, including playing the Sims maybe, to give my wrist a break (I have carpal tunnel issues).  I’m queuing up my Simblreen treats and  I’m planning for Sims 4 Get Famous and the Holidays.

Art stuff: Free requests are closed for now so I can work on other personal projects (unless someone comes by with something I can’t resist, you’re still free to ask).  I’ve gotten a few requests for art commissions and I am open for a few this month.  I will pass along the details later.  :)

The officer is ecstatic for having apprehended the elusive street artist. (@immdreamz, he hasn’t duplicated any street art yet - one at home, five at a park, one at the grocery store, two at the gym, and the unfinished one at the elixir shop where he was nabbed).

Hello everyone! I have some news on what’s coming to my tumblr account. I have some problem while trying to make a new account. I made it yesterday and I needed different email address for it and every time I used that email to log in I got redirected to yahoo site. I don’t really like the idea of being redirected anywhere when I try to log in on tumblr. I’ve also started following a lot of  blogs related to games I like to play besides sims on this account a while ago. Long story short, I really want to keep this account and just change its name to immdreamz - my regular name for any other account I usually have. It would be really hard to start over again and find all those tumblrs that I’m interested in to follow on new account. Who does really like to have multiple accounts on the same site? The only problem is that some of you might’ve followed me because of sims content. Bad news is you won’t see it as much. I’m not going to play The Sims 4 and I’m stuck with games that I don’t enjoy as much anymore. I play other games occasionally and I have thoughts on them. I like some art about them and I like to take screenshorts as I play them. I want to continue following all of you as my dashboard isn’t that busy at all but I want to post some stuff about other games a bit more often. If you’re completely not interested in seeing me talking/posting about other games - you’re free to unfollow me. I wish you all the very best and I hope you’d understand. I really hope there’s some of you who play other games and will continue following me :)
