I was bored and looking for fanfics to read, and I stumble across one (mind you, it’s supposed to be a crack fic) where they pose the idea of g1 Starscream secretly being a megop kid

And now I can’t unsee it

I mean, he is red, blue and light grey like a combo of them, and he also at least gives me the impression that he’s a lot younger than them

And also looking at the three of them, I kind of see it

The things that don’t look similar are just jet things, which neither of them are. And yeah, him being a jet would be a detractor from this idea, but who knows, maybe alt modes aren’t genetic in this hypothetical scenario

Also another thing the fic brought up is that Megatron never just kills Starscream despite his constant treachery. I think that’s different by the movie, but whatever

I know it’s stupid and I don’t really believe it, and this would only be specifically in g1 (because god knows it doesn’t work in other continuities), but now it’s in my brain and I need other people to know about it

Two very horny mech one openly (ko) one very repressed (ss) then their is Breakdown the only other Big sexy man with dumb himbo but good hearted (to those he loves) energy. And Skyfire giant marshmallow man with body of a giant and soul of a scholar and said.

Like that Simpson meme of Smithers (replace with a flustered Skyfire) with the two strippers (Starscream & Knockout) dancing on him. Pan out and you see Breakdown like some guard stopping others from stopping the seduction of the large shuttle by his two smaller boyfriends. And when they succeed he joins in.

Obvosly other dynamics can be made like that one post you had up were KOBD tell star scream he fumbled the shuttle but they won’t but the potential of other stuff is there.

Headcanon that, alongside romance and friendship based movies similar to Earth, Cybertron has movies based on the forming of trine relationships. Obviously they're more popular among seekers, but they aren't unenjoyable for others, including humans.

Now imagine Starscream in continuities where he's without his trine mates. Watching old sappy trine rom-coms by himself and remembering the time the other two begged and dragged him to the theatre to see it when it first came out.

I think I might write it or draw it out XD. They come back to Starscream a couple of years after they abandoned their sparkling to him. Rodimus is actually shocked that Starscream, despite his anger, is doing a good job at raising the sparklings. He looks like a mixture of Rodimus and Getaway, like Rodimus's frame with Getaway's accents.

And the kicker???? Getaway and Rodimus have another sparkling, IDK if Rodimus is carrying when he meets Starscream again or not. Whatever that causes Starscream to also start yelling at him and pull a "So are you and Getaway gonna leave that one with me too?? >:/"

Anyway , while Rodimus can woo Starscream , Getaway is another story. But he's kinda Starscream's type if he's going for the bad-boyish mech at the moment so idk maybe sparks fly.

AND YASSSS I wanna hear about Toxitron and Sunstrom please.

looking back on it I feel like I should've realised sooner that watching the tf07 jazz death scene when I was four or five (maybe six?), and rotf optimus death scene when I was six or seven, combined with the dotm que and ironhide executions and team chaar's attack on rodimus' crew in tfa when I was about maybe eight, and the armada smokescreen death*, and optimus/hydra cannon and starscream sacrifice scenes when I was ten had a significant effect on me and my tastes in media and my views on violence in media

(not in the moral sense, but in regards to like. what it achieves and how it affects the audience and whatnot)

(when playing with my transformers figures I would routinely stage executions and mass slaughters and long drawn-out murders/deaths where the victims were begging for their lives as they got ripped limb from limb or slowly beaten to death or had their torsos blown apart, not dying until the last possible moment. This was from when I was maybe eight to maybe thirteen, I think.)

Idea but

I imagined an Aligned adjacent au where at one point or another where all three are on a rebuilding Cybertron with their own apartments and haven't reunited until now

Starscream and Soundwave have their rid15 designs because those are beautiful as fuck in my opinion

Megs in my opinion has either a frame that's a mockup of his pre-war Megatronus frame or something similar to what we see in "Coming Home" because I fucking loved that fic

On a side note I've been running this plotline where Megs shows up somewhere and Optimus meets him while he's in jail of sorts, and Megs makes a remark about "This feels familiar, does it not?" A bittersweet moment with a helping of this exasperated fondness to it in my mind. I say this because I know in rid Starscream and Soundwave were individually hauled in for a trial, and I adore the idea of there being a rehabilitation program because yes.

I'll be honest I don't really know who Starscream should be with as in this situation I'm imagining wavewave and megop, yes. I know I did imagine Starscream having minibots / smaller sparklings, because I've been thinking about that (the frame ratios are more in favor of carrying for his rid15 frame, which is how this scenario was born.)
