- so turns out he actually takes the same bus as you, and for a while he’s been admiring you - making sure you have somewhere to sit, even if it means he has to stand for the whole journey - however, your always too tired to even realise what’s going on - but its the day of ur job interview and lmao you woke up late! - and so guess who forgot their bag which contains all their belongings, including ur phone and wallet? - hahAHAHAHa you… - ur at the entrance of the bus and of course everyone’s looking at the strange girl who doesn’t have a bus pass but is still trying to get in… - and all of a sudden someone from behind pays for your bus fare - your too embarrassed to even look them in the eyes but you still thank them - what makes it worse is the fact that the bus is extra crowded and you hate standing because you can hardly even reach the handles that dangle down for you to hold on - “just hold onto me” - you see an arm held tightly onto the handle and you can feel the other arm wrapped loosely on your waist - lmao by loosely I mean awkwardly propped on your waist unsure how tight or loose to hold you, as well as unsure where exactly to prop their arm… - nevertheless you’d rather not embarrass yourself even more by falling over so you start to hold tightly onto him - can I just say, a wHOLE LOADA STARING - DIS BOI HAS NO CHILL - when you finally have enough courage to look them in their eyes you realise they’ve been looking at you this whole time - BLUSHING!!!!!! - warning- youngmin likes to smirk… a lot - you can feel the laughter coming from his chest - he follows you out the bus and claims he’s going wherever you are - ‘I’m youngmin by the way, what’s your name?“ - “why do you keep following me?…” - your so embarrassed and you really don’t want him to see how red you are because of him - “fine. You caught me, by now I should probably be in my lecture… But before I go, at least let me get your number.” - how could you say no??? - and before you both know it your pretty much texting non stop and he asks you out on a date - your first official date is at a PC bang, and yes he was planning to be romantic and teach you to play one of the games called over watch - but sIKE, you were a frequent PC bang user back in the day of high school and let’s just say, your way better than him - “but I just wanted this to be romantic and I wanted to teach you, I was planning so much and now you’ve just completely beat me…” - youngmin whining, with his lips pouted and hair in a hot mess - before you knew it, you had your lips on his - fIRST KISS!!!!! - you could just about reach his lips but after a few seconds youngmin already had his hands wrapped around your waist - “youngmin… I’m sorry that you sUCK AT OVERWATCH!” - you try your best to run away but he catches up to you instantly - and yay, second kiss - this time he’s confident and in charge, hands placed lightly on your cheeks and yours were tightly around his body - “wow, you’re an absolute beast on overwatch- it makes me like you even more…” - confESSION!!! - its official y'all are bf and gf!!!!! - changing his relationship status on all social media - as well as bragging about you a lot - “yah, woojin! My girlfriend can actually play overwatch aND SHE’S REALLY GOOD, what can your girlfriend do? SiKE I LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND SHE’S REALLY NICE please stop hitting me…” - smiling youngmin means your most likely smiling as well - you can’t help but get lost in his eyes when they crinkle as he smiles - normally silences with youngmin are the kind which are enjoyable, no awkwardness just a sense of understanding - he walks you home when its dark and at times like this he’s quite protective, youngmin more or less always has his hand around your waist when your walking home - which your fine with tbh - but in general you guys trust each other but sometimes you feel that youngmin is way too chill when your around guys, and you’ve realised he doesn’t really care or get jealous - “do you even like me? It just seems that sometimes you don’t even care when I’m around these strange men!“ - “are you being serious right now? You don’t even understand how crazy I feel when I see you around these guys but I trust you and I don’t want to be that annoying over protective boyfriend… I trust you, y/n and you should know that i only have room in my heart for you.” - you both apologize to each other and make up - but what’s a make up witHOUT any make up sex… - lemme just say, youngmin likes to take charge… - and by now your neighbours clearly know his name .-. - but just in case you haven’t realised what I’m hinting at; a whole loada love bites and delicate kisses on your body as well as hardcore exercise - “yOUNGMIN, look at all the red marks I have on my neck from last night. Do you realise how hard it is for me to cover it up with makeup?!” - “well you weren’t complaining last night” - and there it is again, his smirk is now even more prominent and mixed with his perfect bed hair and morning voice… - well one thing leads to another and your late for work, again… - cute café dates and surprise the cafés you normally go to are cat cafés! - rather than being focused on what your talking about he seems busy with stroking a nearby cat but now this gives you a chance to admire him - “admit it, I look really cool right now” - hE was right, with his satoori and his jawline and the cat… - “you’re the lamest person I know” - “y/n you make my heart flutter whenever you act like this, so cold and cool… Wow- 100% tsundere style, I’m in love” - youngmin teasing you was something common but he really did mean the last part… - you rolled your eyes before a laugh finally erupted out - journeys on the bus together consists of sharing earphones and normally fighting over who gets to pick the music - “but youngminnnnn, you love me right? And so you’ll love anything I love, and I love jiyoung oppa so let’s listen to some of his music!!!” - youngmin doesn’t respond and you notice him flinch at mentioning love but try your best to ignore it so you just change the music to your gdragon playlist - your walking home together and he’s still not responding - “youngmin, what’s wrong? Why aren’t you talking… Are you just going to continue like this? Really?” - you try your best aegyo to persuade him to open up but unlike usual, it has failed - “yah do you know how you make me feel? Whenever I’m with you its like I can’t even feel my heart anymore, what do you want to hear? That you’re right? Because you are, I’m probably talking absolute bullshit right now but I just really like you- no, I love you.” - you pull his face close to yours - “me too, I love you” - there’s a smile on his lips whilst you kiss - “but seriously, y/n why do you call gdragon ‘oppa’ but not me?” - “because your lame” - youngmin also likes to play with your hair - whilst your waiting in line his hand is around your shoulder and reaching to fiddle with your hair - one night you’ve decided to try and get him to braid your hair - at least he tried… - he also likes whispering in your ear, knowing especially how ticklish you are - passerby’s would think he’s saying something dirty but in reality its just dumb jokes - “y/n you no longer have to watch asmr videos, I will be your asmr and im available 24/7” - “hahaha very funny.” - sharing clothes! He lowkey leaves his jumpers at your house so you can wear them… But he gets highkey turned on whenever he sees you in his clothes - youngmin also endulges in couple items, making sure to drag you to buy matching t-shirts as well as matching phone cases - “look, I sent this picture to my mum and she says we look cute… I would’ve expected her to cringe” - “y/n! How could you do this to me?! Sending her a photo which I probably look weird in- I’m her future son in law and…” - he stops at ‘son in law’ - “oppa, what are you even- psh, son in law?…” - awkward silence - “you finally called me oppa, that’s all that matter right now and we can discuss the future… In the future…” - his smile reaches his eyes and your heart instantly melts - “well, youngmin- son in law doesn’t sound that bad, right?” - all of a sudden youngmin is on one knee and his hand reaches his chest pocket - “Y/n, will you… ACCEPT MY HEART?!” - Instead of pulling out a ring box like you were assuming he would, he pulls out nothing but his fingers in the shape of a heart - “wow, I’m in love with such a loser” - aNd you both spend the night in each others arms with an empty pizza box and mulan playing on the TV - your both in love with each other and thats all that matters right now but as to what the future may hold… Well, who knows

#random dream 1

I dreamt that Ha Sungwoon was my cousin and we played DDR while our parents were doing stuff in the shopping mall. Everyone I mention is about 10-12y/o in my dream.

Then, 2 kids came out from a random clothing rack next to us (Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun). They were probs siblings, saw us playing ddr and wanted to join.

We agreed. However there were many clothing racks around us and Im Youngmin backed up into me where I accidentally kissed his shoulder. Being 11y/o probably, he was freaking out and said he would take responsibility.

However he said, "Wait, how bout your boyfriend?"

Here's where I woke up cuz I remembered I had a boyfriend.

Choi Youngmin (Romin)

Romin would likely act all cool and collected and calm, and would be very polite and calm while trying to avoid straightforward confrontation.  However you, knowing him so well, would probably be able to tell right away that he's feeling tense from the situation.

You're pouring over a book as you lean over the library, flipping through pages and pages about a specific historical event you were curious about. Your boyfriend, Youngmin, stands just down the aisle, looking for a book that might pique his interest. Someone accidentally bumps into you from behind, and you stumble over a bit, dropping your book with a yell.

"Oh, sorry, beautiful," they say, helping steady you. They take the book from the ground, take your hand in theirs, and place the book in your hand.

"Oh, uh, no worries," you say. They look at your book, their hand still on yours.

"Oh, you're interested in this stuff?" the ask. "I know a bit about this myself. Perhaps we could talk about it over a coffee or breakfast together sometime."

You blink, and withdraw your hand and the book from their grasp, muttering politely, "Sorry, I'm actually very busy nowadays," just as you hear footsteps behind you. You blink and look over as Youngmin comes to stand right next to you.

"Oh no worries! I'm sure we can find time to meet for coffee," the person says, glancing curiously at Youngmin, who is a bit taller than them.

"Hi," Youngmin says politely. You can see him clenching his jaw, though he's smiling politely, as he puts his arm around you. "What are you two talking about?"

"Oh, just my book."

"Cool. Hi I'm Youngmin, Y/N's boyfriend," Youngmin says, holding his hand out to shake. The person blinks, realizing that you have a boyfriend, and they're visibly shaken as they shake Youngmin's hand.

"Oh, boyfriend, hello," they say, trying to find words. "I didn't mean to impose or anything."

"Oh, no worries," Youngmin says, his arm pulling you closer posessively. "You were saying something about talking about the book over coffee? Perhaps Y/N and I could find time."

They smile a forced smile. "Perhaps not. I don't  know . . . I actually have somewhere to be right now. Have a good day."

They bow their head and leave. Romin chuckles next to you, nuzzling your forehead with his nose.

"I love you, baby."

You hum contently. "Love you too, Minnie."

Won Hyuk

Won Hyuk would be playfully passive aggressive if he witnessed someone hitting on you. He'd use friendly words and act overly friendly, but he'd be obviously pissed and everyone would be able to sense it in the rest of his body language.

"Oh really? That's so cool!"

Won Hyuk looks up from the book in his hand at the sound of your voice, accompanied by your laughter. He sees you talking and laughing with someone else. Another customer at the bookstore, and you're just chatting together. Won Hyuk can't help but feel a weird bit of jealousy shoot through his chest, watching you laugh and giggle with some stranger.

"Maybe we can talk about that over coffee sometime."

"Yeah, maybe," you say to them.

He walks over and you smile at him. "Hi Won Hyuk! We were just talking about this book that we've both read," you day.

"Oh? Really?" Won Hyuk forces a smile, taking your hand in his and squeezing possessively. "What book?"

You look at Won Hyuk, squinting a bit. You can tell something's wrong, from the way he grabs your hand, the way his jaw is clenched to force a fake smile.

"Oh, uh, just some book," you say. "Hey, Won Hyuk, I think I saw something over there. Bye," you say, nodding to the other person.

"Oh?" Won Hyuk lets you drag him away from the other person.

"Hey, Hyuk, are you doing okay?" you ask, once you're sure you're out of earshot.

"Yeah. Yeah, why?"

You tilt your head at him, taking his hand in yours. "You were acting funny just now. What's wrong? Tell me."

He sighs. "I didn't like the way they were flirting with you."

"Huh? Flirting?"

He rolls his eyes. "They asked you for coffee!"

"You're right, Hyuk. I'm sorry. I love you, okay?" You squeeze his hand, and he visibly relaxes.

"I love you too."

Lee Wonjun (Wonjun)

Wonjun, upon witnessing someone hitting on you, would be very straightforward and upfront about how you actually have a boyfriend and that boyfriend is not okay with someone hitting on you. He'd try to be intimidating. Please hold his hand after.

Wonjun notices your absence after a few minutes. You had joined him in grocery shopping, but vanished halfway through. Perhaps you went to go get some strawberries for later. You had mentioned wanting to get some earlier, as you had had something in mind for dinner.

He sends you a quick text, and you respond within the next ten seconds.

Wonjun: y/n where are u?

Y/N: im in the fruit aisle. theres this person trying to hit on me over here 🙄 wont take a hint when i say i have a boyfriend

Wonjun looks up and around. Someone is flirting with you? His S/O? That's unacceptable. He scrunches up his nose, grabs the basket of groceries he has, and heads down to the fruit aisle.

When he reaches there, he sees you talking to someone. You look visibly uncomfortable, the way you're standing and looking around and away. He walks over, overhearing bits of the conversation as he approaches.

"I insist," the person says to you. "Just a quick coffee to get to know each other. I'm sure your boyfriend wouldn't mind an innocent cup of coffee?"

Wonjun walks over and grabs your hand quickly. You almost yelp at the feeling, but relax when you realize it's just Wonjun.

"Oh, Wonjun," you say, smiling widely. You're obviously happy that he's here.

"Hi," Wonjun says to you, before turning to the person flirting with you. "Hi, I'm Y/N's boyfriend. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop flirting with them, if that's alright."

The person blinks and starts stuttering. "Oh no. I wasn't flirting. I was just offering that we could have coffee?"

"Oh? What did Y/N say?" Wonjun asks, looking at you.

"They said no, and that they have a boyfriend, but--"

"Well if they said no, then no," Wonjun asks, glaring at the person. You can see Wonjun's eyes are burning with annoyance, and gently squeeze his hand to keep him calm.

"Sorry. You're right, sorry. I'll go." The person bows in apology and leaves as quickly as they can. You can dee Wonjun is still fuming, his shoulders all tense and bunched up, so you squeeze his hand.

"Wonjun," you whisper. He looks up at you. "Thank you, Wonjun. Let's get back to shopping, okay?"

He smiles. "Okay."

Oh Yejun (Yejun)

Yejun would be a bit more flustered. He would likely walk over to politely let the person know that you're taken, but he wouldn't have so much of a plan going in, so he'd obviously seem nervous or anxious. At least to you.

"Yejun, how does this look . . . ?"

Your voice trails off when you realize Yejum, your boyfriend, isn't around to see the shirt you just took off of the hanger. You and him had gone clothes shopping together, but it seems that he has vanished. Probably to look for his own clothes, anyways.

"Oh." You deflate a bit, lowering the shirt you were holding against your chest before turning back to the clothing rack.

"I think it looked lovely on you," you hear an unfamiliar voice. You turn around, shirt still in hand, and see someone behind you, with a smile so wide it makes you uncomfortable. 

"Oh, uh, thank you," you say, nodding politely. You glance around, once again looking for your boyfriend. 

"Dressing up for a special occasion? It's a nice shirt."

"Oh, yeah. Concert," you say, not wanting to explain to this stranger that your boyfriend is an idol and you're attending an award show with him.

"Cool. When is it?"

You frown, slightly bothered by the questions. "In a couple weeks."

"Oh, are you busy after shopping?" the person asks, and you realize by their uncomfortable stare that they're trying to hit on you.

"Oh, sorry, no. I mean yes, I'm busy. But I have a boyfriend," you say.

You notice their smiley expression slip into a frown, a look of disappointment, and you press your lips together. Just then, you hear someone calling your name. You turn and see Yejun, your boyfriend, walking over with a pair of pants in hand. His eyes fall on you and the person who was just attempting to hit on you.

"Yejunie," you say, waving him over. You grab his hand the moment he gets close enough, before turning back to the person. "This is my boyfriend."

The person looks between you, Yejun, and your hands together. Yejun seems to understand what's going on at the same time.

"Oh, Yejunie, I was just showing them this shirt. What do you think? For the show?" you ask, holding the shirt up to your chest again.

As Yejun starts complimenting you on the shirt, you notice the person not awkwardly and leave, undoubtedly aware that with the presence of your boyfriend, they've become invisible. You smile to yourself. That went pretty well.

Can i just take the time to appreciate my family? You all make me happy and without each and every one of you, i would never be who i am today. Within the centuries i have lived, i never really knew what it was like to have a family of my own. But now that i have you guys, it's like a dream came true.

Last but not least my first child, Jeno. You have grown a lot. You have a boyfriend who i hope truly loves you and you have already had your first kiss. I was shook when i first heard about it and was trying my hardest to get peter pan to take you to neverland. But when i sat down and thought about it, i was just really afraid that you would talk to me less or want to be with your boyfriend more than me...but you proved me wrong. You would be the first one to talk to me and it would bring a smile on my face. Nono i hope you know that without you, i would've never became a father of 6(including you)

To hyungwon my love,the fact that you haven't murdered me yet for adopting so many kids still amazes me. I remember meeting you for the first time. That sassy attitude,the way you would look at me while questioning how in the world did you end up here. Later on in life we lost Youngmin but that made us closer than ever. I still laugh at when you thought Felix really killed me sometimes but it warms my heart knowing that you would hurt anyone that hurted me. Truly i don't deserve you or my children. I have done terrible things in my past centuries but this life that im living right now, is making up for those things. So to start off and make this family our official thing, Chae Hyungwon will you make me the happiest man in the entire world and marry me?

Ever since you accidentally spilled your lunch on Im Youngmin, the popular chaebol senior with money and fame, he’s seemed to hate you. However, when some odd photos of the two of you arguing appear in a tabloid, he has a solution as to how you can make up for it– pretend to be his girlfriend.

There was a heavy feeling in the pit of your stomach, one that you weren’t used to—nerves. Today was the big day for your dance team. You and Jung Jung had been preparing for this moment since summer had started.

The two of you had signed up to compete as a duo in the big summer competition. Winning it would put your studio on the map, and give both you and Jung Jung recognition both as dancers and as choreographers.

You shook your head and rolled out from under the covers, shuffling towards the bathroom to start getting ready. Chungha and Yoojung had set out your outfit for the performance, and had given you very specific instructions for your makeup and hair. After brushing your teeth and washing your face, you got started on the makeup, carefully checking your phone frequently to make sure you were doing it properly.

Once your makeup looked reasonably okay, you did your best to style your hair, and then tugged the outfit on. Given how much time it had taken Chungha and Yoojung to finally settle on one, you were surprised at the simplicity of the black leggings and coral sweater.

On the bathroom counter next to you, your phone started buzzing from notifications. Seeing that it was Youngmin, you picked up.

“Hey, I’m here,” Youngmin said cheerfully. You had been surprised when Youngmin agreed to come to the event, given that his own dance group would be performing, without him. He’d assured you that he’d be alright, explaining that he’d rather go and experience being in the audience than distance himself entirely.

“Okay, I’ll be right down,” you replied, hurrying to scoop up your duffel bag. The hot summer air washed over you as soon as you left the house, and you ran down to where Youngmin’s car was waiting.

“Excited?” Youngmin asked, glancing over at you with a small smile before starting up the car.

“Nervous,” you confessed, leaning your head back against the headrest.

“To be honest, I am too,” Youngmin sighed, “for my own team. This is the first time that I wasn’t involved in anything for them, and I really want them to do well.”

You glanced over at Youngmin, feeling bad, “you know, you don’t have to follow your father’s words every time. You’re living your own life.”

Youngmin smiled wistfully over at you. “It’s not always that easy.” You shrugged. On the one hand, you understood that he needed to be realistic. After all, Youngmin would have to make a living, and the realistic route wasn’t necessarily the one that followed his dreams. But still, you’d seen the way he looked when he danced. It was like a whole different person in Youngmin’s skin, someone happier and more cheerful. “Anyways, it’ll be good for my father to see me there.”

“Why’s that?” You didn’t really see the connection from you dancing to his father.

“You know, he sees I can watch a dance performance without being in it, he thinks I’ll never dance again,” Youngmin shrugged, “win-win.” You couldn’t tear your eyes away from Youngmin’s side profile, as he ran a hand through his hair, focused on the road ahead. The lights from the street danced across his face, and you shook your head, looking out to the street as well.

“You need to live for yourself,” you murmured, not thinking he would hear.

Youngmin’s gaze flickered over to you for a split second before turning back to the road.

The bright lights warmed your skin, a feeling that you had missed. You were onstage alone as you took your starting position, ready to start as the opening notes of the song started.

The two of you had settled on The Hills by the Weeknd, with you dancing a solo to the verse by Nicki Minaj at the beginning. Jung Jung had insisted on having a section that was just you dancing, since he’d had a solo in the last choreography that you’d done.

Your body moved like it was second nature, having gone through the motions that it was like second nature. Jung Jung soon joined you onstage as the chorus started, holding firmly onto your waist as he slowly dipped you back.

The dance was incredibly intimate, with a lot of touching, but you and Jung Jung were practically siblings; you’d never felt any kind of romantic or sexual feelings towards him, and you knew that he hadn’t either. As you and Jung Jung landed every move right on beat, you felt that familiar rush course through your veins, and you had to suppress a smile.

In the audience, Youngmin wasn’t smiling, far from it; narrowed eyes trained on the incredibly close couple onstage, fingernails digging into his palms as he clenched his hands. An unfamiliar feeling bubbled up inside him that made him want to storm onstage and throw the stupid lanky dancer into a wall—jealousy. Youngmin breathed deeply in through his nose, practically hearing his step-mother’s voice in his head—‘don’t overreact’.

Onstage, Jung Jung wrapped his hands around your waist, drawing you close to him, foreheads touching, close enough to kiss.

Youngmin’s growled and shot up from his seat, stalking out of the venue into the cold night air to cool off.

“(y/n), nice job tonight!”

“Yeah, really (y/n), you killed it!”

“Ah, thank you,” you bowed quickly, cheeks flushing as you hurried to where Youngmin stood, since he was your ride home. “Ready?” You asked cheerfully, going to stand next to him.

Youngmin looked down at you, a strange look on his face.

“Youngmin?” Your forehead wrinkled in confusion, “you okay?”

“What the hell was that?” he ground out, folding his arms.

“What the hell do you mean?” you shot back, a wave of déjà vu washing over you. It felt like the first time the two of you had talked, the way that he peered down his nose at you, eyes flashing angrily. It made you want to punch his lights out.

“That dancing,” he folded his arms as well, eyes growing even angrier. It was late, and the two of you were the only ones in that corridor, so his voice ricocheted off of the walls, amplified.

“Yeah, I was dancing,” you glared up at him, “what the hell’s your problem?”

“My problem is that it’s out of line to dance that sexually with another guy,” Youngmin shouted, cheeks growing red in anger.

You took a step back, rage filling your body, “Im Youngmin, who the fuck do you think you are?” You snapped, “What gives you the right to say something like that—you’re not even my fucking boyfriend, you don’t have the right to get jealous!”

“Well, maybe I was jealous, okay?” Youngmin ran a finger through his hair, eyes never leaving yours, “Okay, you know what, maybe even though I’m not your real fucking boyfriend and this whole fucking thing was fake, maybe I was jealous, okay? And maybe, maybe I don’t want this whole fucking thing to be fake, but you’re right, what gives me the right to say something like that.”

Youngmin stood there, panting from his little tirade, hair a mess from the number of times he’d run his hands through his hair. You gaped at him, wide-eyed and open-mouthed at his words, and his eyes remained on yours, intense and heavy.

“Whatever,” he groaned, breaking the eye contact, “I’ll call you a cab, just wait out in front and don’t do anything stupid.” With that, he turned on his hell and stalked off, leaving you to just gape after him, still processing what the hell had just happened.

As you laid in bed that night, you kept tossing and turning, Youngmin’s words ringing in your ears.

Maybe I don’t want this whole thing to be fake.

Did Youngmin really want to date you? And even further, did you want to date him?

No way, you thought crossly to yourself, rolling over onto your side. After all, you hated the guy.

But if he asked…

You sighed, turning onto your stomach. You couldn’t deny the fact that Youngmin’s small smiles and jokes made your heart flutter. You liked Youngmin, and that fact wasn’t going to change no matter how much you rolled over in bed.

there are many regrets that go through your head when you are in the training room of the hunger games

you look at all of these people and wonder, who is the victor?

there was an 85-year-old woman named sayeon and she was an easy target

you felt pity as you watched her try her hardest to win

there was a 30-year-old man named jongkook, his arms as big around as your thighs and a smile so blinding 

then there were the more evil ones

gahyeon, a 22-year-old girl that won last year 

there was still determination and regret in her eyes

youngmin, a 23-year-old man that won the 75th hunger games with his girlfriend of four years

he was determined to get home and get back to her, making him and gahyeon the biggest competitors in your mind

“hey!” sunmi walks up to you with bright red lips, slicked back hair, and a large smile

you admired her

“hey... you continue to tie the ropes together

you hear her sigh, “what’s up with you?”

you throw down the rope and look at her, “i’ve fallen for jihoon and in a couple of hours he is going to try to kill me in the hunger games and i dont know what i should do and im stress-”

it was honestly crazy

a couple days ago, you were taunting him, wondering what he did to win the first hunger games 

and now you were walking up to him about to confess your feelings

a large smile immediately streches across your face but a look of shock appears on jihoons

you were on the ground in a second, hands wrapped around yor throat

you heard sunmi fighting with gahyeon as your eyes started to tear up and your vision started to go black around the edges

“i will win this fucking hunger games!” youngmin screams, not letting his grasp on you go

you thought for sure, you were a complete goner until youngmin was very forcefully knocked off of you

you gasp for breath, almost throwing up in the process

your body was being thrown over a muscluar shoulder

you saw sayeon trailing behind him with a smile on her face, “you two girls almost died!” she giggles and you cant help but to laugh as well

you turn your head to the right to see sunmi smiling at you, blood dripping down her face

then it went black

"anyway. the new student is gorgeous. daehwi, you're really lucky to be sitting next to him." samuel pipes up while sipping on his apple juice.

"bae jinyoung, right? he's so pretty," seonho adds on, and the two high-five.

"he hasn't even said anything to me yet." daehwi comments, and goes back to slurping down his noodles.

a month goes by, and jinyoung has yet to utter a single word to daehwi. but daehwi couldn't care less today, especially after what happened at assembly.

"everybody, we are deeply saddened by the murder of our student im youngmin. may he rest in peace." the principal's words linger in his head.

daehwi can't even believe it - his childhood friend was gone, just like that. he knew that there were many murder cases in this town, but he never expected his dear friend to be a victim.

the day youngmin's death was announced, was the day daehwi decided he wants to be a police officer when he grows up.

daehwi's in class while waiting for lunch to be over. he came back to class earlier today, since he had to rush his incomplete homework. it’s been 2 months, yet he hasn’t spoken with his new seatmate at all.

he's desperately trying to recall formulas for the physics worksheet in front of him when he feels a tap on his shoulder. he turns to face jinyoung.

"did you see my packet of milk?"

it can't be.

daehwi nearly falls off his chair and lifts up his sleeve. his tattoo matched whatever jinyoung had just asked, word for word. he gulps.

"sorry, i haven't."

this time, jinyoung's mouth drops open, and he looks down at his own arm. "are, are you my,"

daehwi leans in closer to jinyoung and lets him have a look at his arm. jinyoung shows him his own, too.

they're at a party hosted by seongwoo to celebrate their exams being over. "yeah, jinyoung, 6 months ago, daehwi was complaining about how his soulmate was going to ask him about a packet of milk," woojin grins. "he was so annoyed by it!" daehwi flicks woojin's forehead. while jinyoung simply chuckles and presses a kiss onto daehwi's forehead.

daehwi has never seen his boyfriend cry.

not until today, when hyunbin's murder was reported on the news.

"oh my gosh. jinyoung. so many people have been killed," daehwi groans. "someone else just died."

"it's getting fucking scary," jinyoung's lips begin to curve downwards, his nose and eyes beginning to sting. "it's making me scared to even leave the house."

daehwi sighs, leaning onto his boyfriend's chest and wiping his tears away. "it's been 2 years since youngmin was murdered. and now hyunbin and 7 other people have been, too." he sighs. "jinyoung, i'm worried and scared at the same time. who even is this heartless to murder so many people?"

"once you become a cop, you'll help fight for justice, right?" jinyoung croaks. "you'll catch that asshole who's been killing everyone, right?" daehwi hums in response.

"i can't believe hyunbin is gone. i barely knew youngmin, too." jinyoung cries, while daehwi tears up.

daehwi breathes deeply as they fall asleep in each other's arms.

5 YEARS LATER.

"this murderer is very, very dangerous. it's suspected that they're responsible for im youngmin, kwon hyunbin, kim chungha, choi yoojung, jung sewoon and many other's deaths as well." minhyun, the head of department speaks. "it's believed their blood is black. since they did allegedly commit so many crimes, it would make sense.”

"we need to catch them as fast as we can. it's been about 9 years, and they're still at large." dongho adds, and everyone agrees. "for now, they are believed to be living in this neighborhood," he says as he points to an area on the map. "the murderer is believed to be a male, especially with the amount of strength they possess. however, this cannot be comfirmed yet."

daehwi heads home with heavy footsteps. it's around 12 in the morning, and he sees jinyoung on the couch, eating ramen.

"hey," jinyoung starts, giving his husband a quick peck.

"hi, hyung."

"you're tired, aren't you?"

"of course. guess what, the murderer supposedly lives in our neighborhood."

jinyoung chokes on the broth. "are you serious? and i thought we could finally live in peace,"

daehwi shakes his head. "fucking hell, it's been 9 years, and there aren't any new leads."

to say that daehwi was worried would be one hell of an understatement - this serial killer had murdered so many of his friends, wrecked so many lives, and they just had to live in the same neighborhood as him and his husband? daehwi's muscles tense. what's worse is that, jinyoung, being a dance teacher, always came home late since some of his lessons ended at 11pm. he didn't want his husband to get hurt.

daehwi bitterly accepts the fact that things don't always end up the way you want it to when it's 3am and jinyoung isn't home yet. the older had not contacted him all night, and daehwi felt like his heart was threatening to spill out of his mouth.

i've lost so many people, i don't want to fucking lose jinyoung.

he jumps off the couch when he hears the door creak open. he rushes to the door, only to be met with a red and puffy-eyed jinyoung, his hair in an absolute mess, a scab carressing his cheek, milk white blood on his hands.

"hyung, are you okay?" tears threaten to spill out of his eyes. he heaves a sigh of relief when he sees that jinyoung's blood was white.

"the murderer, that guy," jinyoung stutters. "he,”

daehwi grabs their first aid kid and cleans jinyoung up. he learns that his currently distraught husband was assaulted by a man dressed in all black while he was on the way home from the dance studio.

once his husband steps out from the shower, daehwi wraps his arms around him.

"i'm glad you're here," daehwi chokes out. "hyung, i love you."

"i love you too."

daehwi doesn't waste another moment. he connects their lips.

"go to the station tomorrow to give a statement, okay?" daehwi breathes out when they pull away. jinyoung nods in agreement. "i won't let whoever did this to you and many other innocent people get away."

"kim samuel has been found dead in his apartment after it had been broken into. it's believed that this has been comitted by the notorious serial killer. there's not enough evidence, since this killer is extremely smart." jonghyun begins, changing the slides of the presentation. "however, the cctv footage of the lift lobby shows the killer. he's dressed in all black, which is exactly what bae jinyoung described to us when he was assualted. a male dressed in all black."

"plus, if you zoom in - this killer's blood is black. extremely black." daniel adds, pointing to the presentation. "this happened at around 9.45pm yesterday night."

daehwi can't stop his tears from flowing. neither can jinyoung.

"now samuel too?" jinyoung switches off the television after the reporter was done talking about samuel's murder.

"jinyoung, i'm fucking scared," daehwi's tears dripped fom his chin. "i literally was just texting him at 8pm last night, and an hour or so later and he was killed? what the fuck is going on,"

they hold each other, the only sounds in the house being the blaring of the air conditioning and their sobs.

daehwi pouts as daniel takes a sip of his coffee.

"hey, i'm stressed and scared too. i'm worried that something is gonna happen to seongwoo or my other loved ones. i'm sure minhyun-hyung feels that way about jaehwan-hyung too," daniel comforts him, rubbing his back. "i know what it feels like to lose someone. most of the victims were our friends in school. it's really saddening, i know. samuel and the others wouldn't want you to sulk like this." daniel stops to wipe away a few tears. "let's catch this horrible person and serve justice, okay?" he smiles, and daehwi's lips curve up in the slightest as he nods.

"let's catch him, hyung."

"babe, there's a letter for you," jinyoung says, walking towards his hubsand as he looks through the rest of the mail.

daehwi puts the cup of hot chocolate jinyoung had made for him earlier down to grab the envelope from the older male. he opens it up, and he chokes on his own saliva as he reads it.

there's a drop of black blood spread across the bottom of the letter. daehwi feels his stomach churn, and his lips tremble as the word 'hyung' comes out of his mouth.

jinyoung raises an eyebrow and takes a look at it. his eyes widen, as his jaw retracts and his neck muscles tighten.

daehwi snaps out of it quickly and grabs a ziplock bag, placing the letter, together with the envelope, in it.

"i'm taking this to the station tomorrow. or rather, in a few hours," daehwi mutters as he glances at the clock. 2am. he turns to look at his husband. his eyes are glossy, and he looks even paler than usual. "hyung..."

an avalanche of tears are falling from jinyoung's eyes, and daehwi's heart breaks.

"i won't let anything happen to you, okay? hyung, i'm not letting anything happen to you. or seongwoo-hyung, or anyone else. i'll catch him, hyung, i promise." daehwi tells jinyoung as he leans in, pressing his lips against jinyoung's.

the ugly thought of jinyoung leaving him floods his mind, but daehwi tries his best to push it away.

hyung will not leave me.

daehwi's eyelids are heavy but he remembers to shoot daniel a text before going to bed.

daehwi: hyung, i got a letter in the mail from the killer apparently

daehwi: black blood was smeared onto it, it said jinyoung would leave me soon. it also said his next target was seongwoo-hyung

daehwi: please protect him, i'm bringing the letter to the station later so u can take a look at it

daniel: Oh my fuck

daniel: Shit.. will do

daniel: Thanks for letting me know

daehwi puts his phone down on the nightstand, and within the next few moments, he's already deep in slumber, in jinyoung's warm embrace.

daehwi wakes up at 6am, ready for work, only to find his bedroom door open. jinyoung is still sound asleep next to him. he walks out of their room and he quickly realises their apartment door is ajar. there's no sign of forced entry - and as far as he can see, nothing has been stolen. his heart is pounding wildly in his chest.

he goes back into their bedroom, shaking jinyoung gently. "hyung, i think someone broke in last night," jinyoung stirs a little before he wakes up. "what?"

"hyung, i think someone broke in. the door's wide open, and the front door is open, too."

"are you serious? is anything missing?"

"nope. what time did you sleep last night?"

"a little after you fell asleep? everything was still normal, though."

daehwi takes a look at jinyoung. he then realises how stressed jinyoung looks - his dark circles have been getting significantly darker. i just want all of this to end. i want to live happily with hyung.

"i'll call the team in to do a check later. what time are you leaving for work?" his husband replies with a "10am" and daehwi heads to the bathroom to get ready.

he looks through his bag to make sure he has everything he needs.

"hyung, the letter isn't here anymore?" daehwi exclaims, and jinyoung gets out of bed to take a look. "hyung, it's gone. do you think whoever broke in took it?"

jinyoung runs a hand through his hair. "if so, that person might either be the killer or someone associated to him."

daehwi sighs. "hyung, i really want you to be safe."

"i really want you to be safe too, daehwi."

jinyoung closes the gap between their lips.

"we looked around daehwi's apartment. there was no signs of forced entry, no fingerprints or footprints." minhyun speaks, resting his hands on the table. "daehwi also received a letter from the killer that he had planned to show to us today. the letter was typed out, and so was the address, so we can't do any handwriting tests. however, it seems like whoever had broken into his home has stolen it."

they continue with their discussion, and daehwi's mind is in a whirl.

daehwi: hey

daehwi: how's seongwoo doing

daehwi: it's been 2 weeks since anyth happened so i suppose he's fine?

daniel: Yup! He is. Jisung and Sungwoon stay with us now to look after him and the house when I'm not around

daehwi: ahh that's good

daehwi: maybe i should get jihoon and woojin to live with us so they can look after baejin lmao

daehwi: the killer said baejin is gonna leave me soon.. i really don't want that to happen

daniel: It won't. We're close to solving this case

2 weeks and many changes of locks later, everything has seemed to die down a little. daehwi has the day off today, and jinyoung doesn't have to go to work until later in the afternoon. they're enjoying the day together. daehwi is cooking rice, while jinyoung is chopping up the meat.

daehwi hears jinyoung hiss in pain, and he takes a gander in his lover's direction. "hy-hyung,"

the taller male leans in and cups daehwi's face with his clean hand, and the latter flinches at the contact.

"you wanna know who killed youngmin, hyunbin and samuel? you wanna know who supposedly attacked me? you wanna know who sent you that letter? you wanna know who broke into our apartment?" he speaks slowly, in a disgustingly sweet yet sickly manner. daehwi can't even speak. he can't even think. his lips slowly part as he stares at jinyoung in absolute shock and horror.

jinyoung smears the black liquid onto daehwi's bottom lip. "i did it."

"hyung, you're lying, you're lying," is all daehwi manages to choke out, his heart beating rapidly.

jinyoung grins as he heads to the couch, grabbing his backpack and pulling out a knife, clad with dried blood, black mask, black cap, black hoodie and black jeans. he walks back to daehwi.

the shorter male feels his heart almost stop.

"i'm the serial killer you've been searching for, baby." jinyoung laughs darkly. "i'm a good liar and actor, aren't i, sweetheart?"

Latte or vanilla bean frappe? Chocolate or strawberry smoothie? 

You wanted to cry, standing in the line for a taste of On Cloud Nine’s - the best and only sugar filled cafe on campus -wonderful treats.

It had become a tradition of some sort, every week, one of the clique members would do the snack run. This - particularly hectic - week, to get things off your mind, you volunteered. At least this would take your thoughts off certain matters for a short yet refreshing time. 

The crushed piece of paper had messy scribbles of your friends’ orders, crumpled because of your nerves and the dilemma you were facing. 

Coffee or smoothie? That’s the first question I should be asking myself. You were tempted to rip out a good chunk of your hair in frustration. Both drinks were equally delicious, just thinking about them was enough to make your mouth water. Both were your fixed picks, but maybe it was time to try something new. Coffee, smoothie, or should I get an iced tea? You wrinkled your nose at the thought of ice. What a great idea, a crushed ice drink in this miserably wet and cold weather. Worry began to build up when you snaked up the queue and finally, there was only one girl ahead of you. Your mind still had not been made up. The pastel walls and soft, neon sign decor did nothing to calm your nerves. From one corner, the pink flamingo statue seemed to be judging you. “Hi! Welcome to On Cloud Nine, how can I help-“ “I’ll have one of whatever she’s having,” you blurted out without thinking. “And, um, one butterfly pea tea uh, warmed…, a banana and almond muffin and one…Thai milk tea with…seventy-five percent sugar, no ice, e-exactly two teaspoons of milk…and one cinnamon stick?” Your face turned bright red after reading out that ridiculous order in public. Whatever concoction you ordered was really questionable, you were mentally re-evaluating your choice of friends. In that moment, you wanted nothing more than for the ground to swallow you up. Surprisingly, the barista had complied and added precisely one whole stick of cinnamon in the tea. It puzzled you as cinnamon in Thai milk tea did not sound exactly…fitting. Your drink was one that was much more appetising, God bless the girl in front of you who ordered hot chocolate with extra marshmallows. One sip was all it took to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Hot chocolate was energising, soulful, truly a comfort food. Just as you were packing to leave and head back to your friends, a rush of cool Autumn breeze filled the small coffee house, causing your body to unintentionally shiver. However, the real reason that a shocking bolt spread down your back was not because of the weather, but because of who entered On Cloud Nine. You could say you were on cloud negative nine or so, mood dampened by a downpour. A clique stepped into the store. Not just your own clique but another group of friends trailed behind. A familiar pair of hazel eyes bore into the sides of your face, you refused to turn your head to meet his gaze. You pursed your lips, guard raised but dread and puzzlement flooded you. Sensing your obvious shock and confusion, Elkie stepped forward to squeeze your hand encouragingly. She also took the bag of snacks away from you to settle into a nearby booth. You nearly missed the words that emitted from Woojin’s mouth since he said them in such a small voice as if he too was dreading this meeting. Yet, there was some sort of underlying, camouflaged hope and anticipation in his tone. “We need to talk.” 

Oh, the irony. Despite the glittered splashed walls and fairyland decor in On Cloud Nine, the atmosphere felt like one in a horror movie, or better yet, it felt as if this scene took place in a dystopian planet, foreign from the one you knew. You took a long sip of your hot cocoa, savouring the heat and bitterness of the dark chocolate, in a twisted way, it resembled your mood. The warmth stung your tongue, the bitter aftertaste of the eighty-five percent cocoa chocolate only increased the tension, yet, you welcomed it. Maybe it was some sort of indicator to make sure you were alive, that this was reality and not some nightmare. You knew you had been putting off meeting Woojin for the longest time but there was no other way around this sticky situation. Bae Jinyoung - a classmate from chemistry - was experiencing one right across your booth. He visibly winced as Lee Daehwi attempted to rip the gigantic rainbow swirled lollipop off the edge of his best friend’s  boyfriend’s  fringe. Such a sweet romance. You sighed dreamily, wishing the same for you - even if your somewhat non-existent love life claimed otherwise. “Let’s set the record straight.” Jiwoo finally broke the choking silence. “Woojin, please explain your side of the story.” In reply, the dancer shrugged. “I don’t know what’s happening myself.” “She wants to know if you can see colours,” Im Youngmin elaborated, trying to keep his friend’s calmness intact. “I can’t.” The verbal confirmation shot into your heart and made it shatter into a billion crystal fragments like glass. Your grip on your mug tightened, sending a wave of déjà vu crashing over you. I can’t smash this mug, I’ll have to pay for it. Besides, hot chocolate is much better tasting than coffee. “Do you recognise… Y/N as your soulmate?” Elkie posed the other question, her lips pressed into a tight pout. She drummed her fingers on the table out of worry. Woojin’s jaw worked to form an answer but no words were projected. “I-I…I would if I could confirm it.” A shift was sensed in his mood, his eyes darkened, his tone deepened and the loudness of his charming voice increased. “How do I know you’re not playing with me right now?” He hissed, face reddening with fury. “You know this is a sensitive subject for me. Stop playing games with me!” A few curious glares were sent in his general direction but he did not exactly pay them any mind. Woojin rarely showed his temper, it came as a huge shock, but you expected him to flare up anyway. In his shoes, you would too. A part of you pitied him, he was really missing out on a great person for a soulmate. “It’s fine. It’s whatever. Let’s go,” you beckoned, setting your mug back on the table and standing up to leave. Jiwoo caught your elbow before you could even take a step out of your seat. She let out an annoyed huff before tenderly shoving you into your chair again. “Listen,” she said in a low tone. “I’m not leaving until we settle this today.” Woojin opened his mouth to oppose but he quickly clamped it shut from the stares his hyungs shot him. “We can stay here until the cafe closes, I really don’t mind.” Jiwoo tapped her pen to her bottom lip, raising a brow, scanning for even the smallest sign of opposition. A sigh left Woojin’s mouth, he looked apologetic and defeated. “You know I wanted to talk,” he whispered meekly. “But I don’t think I can.” “That’s why we’re here,” Donghyun said matter-of-factly. “We’re here to facilitate the…discussion.” Youngmin nodded encouragingly, ruffling Woojin’s hair. “We know not much talking would occur if it was just both of you.” “Yeah,” Jiwoo giggled, suddenly regaining her bubbly personality. “More like a lot more lip-locking!” Her joke elicited laughs, be it embarrassed ones from yourself and your soulmate or amusing ones from your friends. The atmosphere loosened up, it felt like a fresh start. “So, hi. My name is Park Woojin, what’s yours?” 

“So 6pm? I’ll meet you outside your dorm block?” you confirmed, heart nearly racing out of your chest. Woojin nodded in reply, pushing his chair out as he stood. “I’ll see you then.” He appeared cool and collected but the second he thought you were no longer able to see him, he jumped and yelled in excitement. A date was the last thing he expected, probably not an activity he would have wanted to engage in when he thought about it but somehow, Woojin was anticipating tomorrow evening. He felt energising electricity zap him all over, much like when he was dancing to his favourite songs. Maybe it’s just the soulmate pull… Perhaps it was only that factor that attracted him but either way, Woojin was finally excited about action in his depressingly almost non-existent love life - he was never really enthusiastic about dating after Naomi anyway. Knowing he had a date set up brought a new feeling, a feeling that was oddly pleasant. One that was filled with hope, that things would work out, that he would solve this puzzle. Blame all the sugar in On Cloud Nine for Woojin’s mood switch and sudden hype. His mood definitely took a turn, for better or for worse was the question. He was a tad bit afraid as it had been a long while since he had gone on a date. Then, there was all that joy that was bubbling. You were not Naomi. You were a different person, someone he could get to know. Someone who he could potentially learn to trust, who he could enjoy times together.

You were a person that could hold his future. And of course, someone who could make his universe burst into colour for the very first time.

You shook your head. 'No, I don’t want to marry you.’

The eyes of the boy in front of you widened, a 'why’ escaping his mouth. 

'Because you don’t mean it.’

'I do mean it!’ He started yelling.

'No you don’t!’ You yelled back.

And with that, the 5-year-old Youngmin awkwardly pressed his lips against yours. 

'Promise?’ 'Promise.' 

You smiled as you intertwined your pinky with his.

'Oh come on Y/n, you’re seriously wasting all your time on that guy. Don’t you realize he is no good? You’ve seen it with your own eyes. Break it off.' Youngmin sighed as he rested his head on his hands. You just bit your lip, trying to hold your tears back. It had been the fifth time in a month that your boyfriend rejected any of your suggestions to go out together, saying 'he was busy’ or something. You just let it slide, wanting to believe him. 

That was until you went out to the mall today together with Youngmin, your best friend of 14 years. The two of you met in kindergarten and Youngmin never was a violent person, but today he swore he could punch your (soon to be ex-)boyfriend right in his filthy face when he saw him sucking another girl’s face off. 

Youngmin had quickly grabbed your shoulders, leading you the opposite way while screaming something along the lines of 'Oh would you look at that I am craving ice cream let’s go!’. You didn’t fall for his bad acting as you turned around, only to lock eyes with the jerk. Before you could snap, Youngmin dragged you out of the mall.

'Listen if you’re not gonna do it I will.’ Youngmin huffed as he grabbed your phone out of your hands, dialling your boyfriend’s number. 'Hello? Y/n? I’m sorry for what happened today it’s not what it se-’ 'From now on I think it’s better if you leave Y/n alone, it’s not like you actually love or even care about them, have a nice day.' Youngmin ended the phone call, throwing your phone on the couch. 

'Come here.’ Youngmin patted next to him on his bed. You sobbed as you nuzzled into his warmth. 'Go ahead and cry, I’m here for you. You know that right?’ Youngmin stroked your hair. The small yet genuine gestures immediately calmed you. It had always been like this. Whenever you felt sad, stressed, scared or alone Youngmin would always be there to comfort you. Something about the way he’d let you nuzzle up against him and stroke your hair made you forget about all your worries. 

A few days later you were greeted by an enthusiastic Youngmin running towards you. 'Y/n! Y/n I am going on a blind date tonight! Remember how you always nagged me on how I should start dating? Maybe I will get a girlfriend soon!’ He cheered as he jumped up and down. You quickly congratulated him and shot him a smile, however deep inside you felt like crying, you honestly had no idea why, it’s not like you had feelings for him, right? 

'Hey earth to Y/n?’ Youngmin waved his hand in front of your face. You must’ve blanked out or something, much to Youngmin’s dismay as he dragged you to the small cafe you two always went nearby. 'So you’re coming with me after school ends right? You told me you needed help with mathematics and I need you to help me get ready for my date’ You could only stare at your cup of coffee, slowly dragging the small straw, the flowing movements allowing you to get away from your thoughts for a second.

'Do I look good?’ Youngmin sat down next to you. You reached forward, fixing his soft bangs a little bit. 'Yes, you do.' 

All the times you have said he was good looking or handsome before you two were just joking around, however this time, you meant it. The way his bangs would fall in front of his eyes, the way his eyes sparkled and the way he always greeted you with his warm smile, immediately making you feel happy. But it would all be gone when he came back with a girlfriend, wouldn’t it.

As soon as it was 7PM Youngmin hurriedly ran to the door as he quickly said goodbye to you. You let yourself fall down on his couch, sighing as you looked at the pile of mathematics homework. Normally Youngmin always helped you a lot, but today he seemed to be way too distracted with his blind date.

7:30PM. You had draped yourself over the couch, totally given up on the homework, looking at a program you didn’t even want to look at. Then you heard the front door open. 'You’re home quick… shouldn’t you be with your date now?’ Youngmin let out a quiet laugh as he removed his jacket. 

'Dear Y/n.’ He walked over to you as he cupped your cheeks. 'Stop. Making. Me. Worry. About. You. So. Damn. Much.’ Your eyes widened, did he find out? Did you act too strange? 'If you didn’t want me to go on that date you could’ve just told me, you aren’t really good at hiding your feelings either. You should’ve seen the sulky expression on your face today.’ You felt your cheeks turn bright red. Shit. Great. 

'I’m so sorry Youngmin, I know I shouldn’t fall for my best friend and it’s probably just because I’m in a kind of sad mood right now and I really didn’t want to let your first blind date get ruined like this and I totally understand it if you-’ You almost stumbled over your words as you felt your eyes water, no you shouldn’t cry now. 'Go ahead and cry.’ Youngmin repeated the words that have always made you feel at ease, made you believe it was okay to cry, because it was. But you bit your lip and shook your head, not wanting to cry in front of him now. Youngmin sighed as he made you stand up and pulled you against his chest. 

'Cry. It’s okay. I’m here for you. Did you forget about that?’ You shook your head as you heavily sobbed against his chest, leaving tearstains on his white shirt. Once you had calmed down Youngmin stepped back, putting your hair behind your ear with a loving gaze. 

'I didn’t expect you’d like me though. Having these feelings for you at that time, didn’t feel right to me. I wanted to give you some time and space so I decided it was time to try new things out. But if you are feeling the same way..' 

Youngmin seemed to black out for a moment, but he took a step forward and pressed his lips on yours in one swift motion. 

'You know, I’m still going to marry you.’ Youngmin said happily as he looked up at the night sky. The two of you lied down on the grass, stargazing. You just smiled contently, intertwining your fingers with his. 

'Promise.'

The image an idol carries with their name holds just as much importance as their talent.  As learned from the previous evaluation, an ideal image can often hold more value than an honest one. For example, an idol who constantly helps out with their community and donates to those in need will be seen with much better grace by the public than an idol who doesn’t remember to show gratitude towards fans for standing out in the cold to watch one of their performances!

This month, everyone will be expected to work twice as hard for a special two-day long evaluation. On December 24th, trainees from all companies will be the ones performing live at the Seoul Plaza festival, and each trainee will be assigned at least two group songs to perform, with some others invited to take part in a special stage with other trainees. Those who are participating are expected to arrive at the designated area before 1pm to run through a full rehearsal before the official show begins at 7pm. Holiday-themed outfits will be provided for the trainees to use during the entirety of the show so there will be no need to bring your own. Keep in mind: trainees who have a Live Singing achievement below a Beginner level may find themselves struggling greatly during their performances!

Private trainees will not be made public through this, as their names won’t be revealed, their participation won’t be advertised as part of a company, and they’ll only be seen by a small audience.

On the following day, the 25th, all donations received from the festival will be gathered and delivered by the trainees to the organization as a Christmas gift. Trainees should be dressed in red, green, and white colored outfits and will present themselves as Santa’s elves for the full immersive experience. The shuttle service normally used by trainees to move from their company buildings to the Seocho complex will drive them to the designated places instead.

Trainees will then arrive at a rented party area where the ChildFund Korea staff will be waiting for them. A Christmas party has been planned for the families and children they’ve been helping, and the kids will get a wonderful surprise in the appearance of the trainee Santa’s elves at the party! Trainees are free to interact with the children as coaches will still be around to help supervise them. Trainees will not only help distribute gifts to the children but also will help serve a special Christmas lunch at noon, which will then be followed by a simple ensemble performance of Jingle Bell Rock. All trainees will be spread around the room to sing the song in unison, so no line distribution is needed for this.

After lunch is done, all trainees will be sent back to their company buildings to continue with their regular schedules. However, coaches will spread the word that dinner will be optional this time around and trainees will be free to go home after their dinner schedule.
