it might end up being my longest posted fic but i’m not sure yet; we’re teetering on the edge of 4k (3,853 words currently) with multiple scenes (…/flashbacks Smirk Emoji) left to write. but also take that number with a grain of salt bc i do this insane thing when writing where if i think of an alternate phrasing for something i just. put it right next to the original. or if i need to rework a paragraph i’ll copy and paste it and rework it directly below the original so i can compare them side by side. my current longest posted fic is lose your faith in me with 4.3k so maybe it’ll be longer than that !! :3

this fic is entirely about mike’s trauma and i’ve actually been struggling to balance how much of paul’s trauma to include (considering it’s so similar and mikebriggs cycles narrative foils etc etc you understand). there are lines that Hint at the backstories and the effects of canon events on other characters, but it all varies based on mike’s heavily limited perspective and what i think he realistically wouldn’t or wouldn’t be privy to. a good example of this is this moment from somewhere in the haze:

the context, of course, is charlie seeing mike and thinking of finding whistler dead on the bathroom floor. i thought that this was something briggs knew about and mike didn’t, not sure if that’s actually true in canon but even if not, briggs having been there with charlie when it happened would be able to immediately make that connection and know where charlie’s mind had gone.

of course, the hints in something’s in your eyes are certainly not as heavy-handed, where it is directly pointed out that there is something mike is “on the outskirts of”—the fic is quite literally about secrets. it is also not so easily resolved as this particular example is, where charlie tells mike in the last scene the context for her reaction. many things are instead left unsaid because. y’know. secrets. >:)

the particular example of this i’m thinking of in siye is actually about jakes. goddd there’s this one jakesbriggs moment where…no……i shan’t say. it’s literally the only jb moment in the entire fic and it’s like five words total probably but bitchhhhh u gotta pick up what im putting down!!! the Context… coconut tree etc etc… u gotta Think it’s a Thinker. thinkerbell? i’m tired

i use the tiny moments of info that mike is or isn’t privy to in order to show the closeness of the polycule and show how open other characters (cough cough johnny and charlie cough cough!!!) are in comparison to mike’s repressed ass. lowkey one of those things i didn’t even realize i did until i read it back and was like WTF!!!! I swear every other day another hot take about self diagnosis and how it can be harmful to people who are *really* diagnosed bc people are using it to seem cool shows up in the bpd tags and I just.

Genuinely wondering where the hell these people live that teenagers saying “i think I’m bipolar I’m so crazy lol” is somehow a) contributing to the stigmatization of mental illness and b) gets them Popular Points with the Cool Kids

Every single person I ever knew who said something like “I’m so crazy I think I have [x]” (I’m not exaggerating here. Every. Single. Goddamn. Person.) wound up getting diagnosed with something later down the line. Granted, it wasn’t always or when often what they claimed to have. Some people who at the age of 15 claimed they were bipolar wound up getting diagnosed with ADHD, one I remember getting an autism diagnosis. Some who claimed they were ‘sociopaths’ eventually found out they were bipolar. They often said stuff like this because they were trying to be flippant about their Weird Quirks (aka symptoms) so people *didnt* think they were crazy. They said it because they felt different and latched onto the first label they came across to explain their behavior. Some of them, were in fact, trying to get attention from their friends - BECAUSE THEY NEEDED SOMEONE TO PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS WRONG. It does not bother me when teenagers say something like this because odds are, if they looked at a personality disorder in their psych class and went “oh that sounds like me” They’re probably not far off! And it is Not A Big Deal. Who cares if a 16 year old says “I think I’m borderline I have an fp” like that is genuinely not something that has an impact on me?? If they believe hard enough that they have bpd that they’re going into actuallybpd to look at what other people are saying, they possibly DO HAVE IT.

Like idk maybe it is genuinely different outside of the Bible Belt but people who talked about having mental illnesses weren’t popular!!! My friend told a few of us she was schizophrenic (she was, diagnosed and everything) and it got around to the wrong people until “oh don’t talk to her she’s crazy” was how people talked about her. One of my friends talked often about how she was ~totes bipolar~. It got around and people said the *exact same thing* about her. Because it doesn’t make you popular. It just makes people think you’re weird, best case scenario.

Not all of us have access to health care. Not all of us have parents who will let us have access to a psychologist. And a lot of psychologists won’t diagnose you, for whatever reasons. The ONLY reason I have a diagnosis now is bc I researched and researched. I spent four years calling myself borderline before I got a diagnosis from a therapist - who I handed a checklist of symptoms to and said “I think I have this” and she looked it over and said “yeah probs.” Because like. They’re not infallible, and while psychiatry tries to pretend like it’s an exact science it is HEAVILY subjective. I had three different therapists who had three different ideas as to what was wrong with me until I suggested (among other things) bpd to the fourth and she agreed (along with one of the other things).

Like. There is no downside to self diagnosis. Just getting those words out there, so more people hear them, is helpful. A teenager saying ‘I totally have SAD’ isnnot going to get them cool points??? Where does this idea come from. Stop making people feel bad because they don’t have access to psychiatric care!!!!!!!

WitchyTwitchy! and anything in my bookmarks is highly, highly recommended. there's also my stories which are a tad old, honestly, but they're not the worst ever! but besides that, let's get into the nitty gritty fanfic recommendations!

then they kill you ( and then they love you again ) - the moment you asked for fic recs for etn, this was actually the first fic i thought of. it's a s4 fic that focuses heavily on rosanna and the trials she endures mentally in purgatory. this is a work that has stuck with me since it's original posting and always puts me in this weird grief-stricken mood due to how vivid ro's emotions are. the format could be a bit confusing to read given the long paragraphs and lack of dialogue marks ( " ) but since you don't mind that, i highly recommend! whenever i want to get in my s4 feels or even get inspired to write something heartwrenching, this is the fic i always go to.

how the story goes - another s4 fic that's just a nice, quick read. it mainly follows destorm and how his dynamic with alex changed over the course of the season, while adding a layer of depth to it. though this isn't a big fave of mine, i adore it nonetheless and believe it's one of the few etn fics that focus on alex/destorm in that season anyway, so! but that leads me to the next fic rec, which is from the very same author who wrote this -

love, and how to kick it - honestly, this is one of the first fics i ever read in the etn tag ever and it was a pretty solid introduction. if you're a fan of soulmate aus and hopeless situations, this one is for you! it's s3 and the main character is nikita, who goes through the story torn between her love for manny vs her soulmate-love for mat. which is handled extremely well and pulls at your heart, just how nikita's being tugged around by hers. there's some good ro/mat moments as well! genuinely a good fic all around and makes you want to see more soulmate aus in etn in the same vein as this!

if i fall - a s3 fic that's an au, but instead of changing the outcome of a death ( as you typically see ) it's making up a new challenge entirely and forcing the final five to endure it! this one is a refreshing fic to me and elaborates on dynamics in the current setting of the show in a very intriguing way. there's angst galore and everyone who has to do the challenge has thoughts that feel extremely in character for them to have, causing you to feel awful and torn between both teams. it's a decently long read, which the fandom definitely needs more of, so that's a plus as well! there isn't much more to say without spoiling it, but the creativity taken and the twists and turns are excellent. also, fyi, if you want to read more etn fics, this person is chalk full of them on their ao3 account! so check them out in general.

right down to the second ( i can feel my breath unfold ) - another s3 fic ( sorry! they just have the most fics ) but this time it's a nicely wrapped up 'how the final six can potentially live' au. the main reason im placing this down is because of how recent it is in the fandom, and i think it's very important to support works that have been posted recently. especially since writers ( and editors ) are the only ones keeping this fandom afloat! however, besides that, this fic is one of the better ones ive seen recently. i was not expecting the plot nor the friendship development this fic expertly dishes out. you can tell they really adored each member of the final six, and you'd be surprised how rare that is in the fandom. it's heartwarming and follows matthew caring deeply for everyone there and it deals with amazing trauma in the second work. definitely recommend

I promised Id do this, heres quick first thoughts

this is based on the cbs writeups, not on anything that has been recorded. its also not based on any reveals the tag has made, im not taking that into consideration as this isnt me deciding who to root for. because im not officially picking anyone yet. this will be 90% strategy, 10% "are they annoying"

Azah has a pretty solid strategy. I think if she can get a small loyal group together she could make it far. my big worry is the usual tbqh, that she will be targeted early because shes genuinely considering her own game. also thank you for the no showmances.

Christian annoys the fuck out of me already. i dont mind a sort of floater/rat strategy, but the way he answered makes me feel like hes making excuses already for not doing anything. i just....dont trust anyone who starts a strategy conversation with "I am a joy".

Hannah's answer is long and i dig it? i initially only got the first paragraph and wanted to write her off, but reading the whole thing...i think i could see myself doing something similar, so i like it a lot. I support tactful blood bathing.

Brent has a similar issue to christian. I dont HATE him, but it feels like hes going in with overconfidence. Overdoing it with proving you have charm buddy, and since thats your strategy i dont have much else to say....

Britini seems excited, which is cool. but it doesnt sound like she has a solid strategy other than "win comps, say im making moves" which...fine. im hoping its more of an "assess once we get in there" thing.

Derek F is smart in getting to know people personally. a personal connection makes it harder to vote someone out, so i have a lot more confidence in his confidence than other houseguests.

Frenchie....ok before we get into strategy, who the fuck describes themselves as supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. who describes themselves as a nonsense word. already hate him for that. but beyond that, im glad he acknowledges that setting a strategy wouldnt benefit him right away. what does a farmer have to do with that? idk, but i hope he isnt horrible. glad he doesnt want to get famous, like i genuinely like when people make that point.

Travis kinda goes between Brent and Derek F for me. like his confidence doesnt feel forced, but it does feel overexplained. It sounds like the pranks might be part of strategy if hes putting the blame on other people, so as long as they arent annoying im ok with him.

Alyssa seems to want a well rounded game, but she feels like shes going to do a big group sort of thing. and i dont like that as a viewer. i worry that she would get lost in that group once the house gets more empty, so i guess we will see how that turns out. I dont get wanting first hoh or wanting to be like tyler, but i guess you do you.

Tiffany's strategy is short, sweet, and to the point. i dont have much to go on, but ngl her willingness to try slop could weirdly help her? theres almost nothing in the small sample of her bio, unlike the others i actually read the full one and i didnt get much more. im gonna pretend i didnt see her fave duo.

Xavier seems enthusiastic. smart to not want to win comps unless necessary, smart to not play personal. beyond that i dont have any strong thoughts

Claire is a fan and i love that. sounds like she knows what to say to excite other fans, the important strategy points to make the game better. i just hope she can actually deliver on these, that it doesnt backfire on anyone. also please cause disruptions, thats entertainment and can be strategic.

Sarah, if i remember, is the weeb people were talking about. which....love that, love seeing people who have similar interests to me in the game. but also im glad shes upfront and says the word "float". we know its not accidental, so i can respect it a lot more.

Whitney is pretty alright. i like that she wants to start strong, and that she doesnt have extreme details for a strategy, but i dont know what i think. Derek X could go either way. He looks like he could be fun, i genuinely hope he doesnt get lost in the crowd and eliminated early. His strategy is primarily social, but like in a more influential way and i hope he manages that tbqh.

Kyland seems prepared and enthusiastic, which is good. the specific references to different players strategies makes me more confident in him than others, like some people vaguely referenced another player, dropped a name, or mentioned them as a favorite, but hes pulling out specifics. my main worry is that he will play too hard too fast. or that he wont be able to deliver this (same worry as claire)

Overall im tired of seeing derrick and cody referenced in peoples bio but at the same time thats what cbs wants, so its what we get. and it makes sense, since they are part of the more modern game. as much as i love old school BB it makes sense to consider strategy from more recent stuff since you are more likely to experience those sorts of situations. being prepared is more important than getting old school points if you want to win. but gods i hate derrick and cody.

The air surrounding her was thick with anticipation, but Y/N was most deliciously alone.

She hadn’t seen Draco since the night in the dungeons with Rena, when she’d ran away like a child. The memory still made her cringe—who does that sort of stuff anyways?

But when she had returned to her dorm and retold the story to Rena,things took an interesting turn. Her friend’s words still echoed around in her head--No, Y/N, you have to stop playing games....all you’re doing is embarrassing yourself now...he already knows, and he’s still seeking you out...it’ll feel better after it’s over, you won’t need to hide from him anymore...

Something snapped Y/N out of her inner conflict: footsteps, sounding down the corridor just a few seconds away. She swallowed, shut her eyes, and leaned back against the wall, secretly praying that he couldn’t see her.

“Sorry I’m late, I got a little caught up,” Malfoy greeted, stopping in front of her. “What’s gotten into you? Stop leaning on the wall, there’s probably a whole colony of spiders behind the plaster.”

Y/N squeaked at that statement, throwing herself off of it and glaring at him once she regained her composure. “Spiders don’t live in plaster.”

“You seemed mighty convinced otherwise a moment ago. I thought Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart.”

“I am!”

Malfoy looked amused at that, his glowing eyes twinkling and the sides of his mouth turning up. “Well, then...if you’re so smart, did you finally figure out what the mirror was?”

Fuck. 

She was supposed to be the one to bring that up, not him! Y/N turned bright red before she could help herself, her mouth agape and eyes wide. 

“What?”

“You heard me,” he said, cocking his head to the side. Another smirk passed over his features as well of a realization. “Oh, you did, didn’t you! That’s why you’re being so painfully awkward and making this worse for both of us.”

“Wha--no!” Worse for both of us? Us? What did that mean?

Y/N gulped again, dropping eye contact with him to look at the floor. 

“Y’know, you can come clean,” he mused. “I’m not going to tell anyone.”

“What have I to tell you?” 

Draco rolled his eyes. “And people tell me I’m the most difficult person in our year.”

“I’m not difficult!”

“Sure you aren’t.”

They began walking without another word, casually and akin to their other round shifts, but Y/N’s mind was racing. Did he mean it when he said he wouldn’t tell anyone? Of course he didn’t, he was the worst person in the history of Hogwarts. Well, that was hyperbolic. 

She stole a glimpse at him when they turned a corner and she was sure he wasn’t going to catch her, drinking in the sight of him wearing a white dress shirt with rolled up sleeves with his Slytherin tie looped haphazardly around his neck, his collar slightly undone. He must’ve washed his hair because there was no longer any gel in it. Some of his uniquely light strands had dared to stretch out over his brow, just barely catching the torchlight of the corridor.

“Is there something on my face?” Draco drawled, giving her a lazy flash of the corner of his eyes. 

“Er..” She pondered for a millisecond, coming up with a rather idiotic plan. “Yes. An eyelash.”

Draco took a swipe at his cheekbones, his eyebrows knit together in suspicion. He glanced down at his fingers curiously. 

“You know, it’s funny, because I didn’t happen to feel anything there.”

“I don’t think that eyelashes are the most noticeable things, I’m not shocked.”

He let out a small laugh at that. “So you had to look closely to notice it, I take it?”

Y/N blushed again but hid it by brushing her hair out of her face. “Stop projecting,” she dared, looking anywhere but his eyes.

“I--what? Projecting?”

Draco’s sputtering would’ve been comical if his tone wasn’t so taken aback and surprised...something that poked Y/N harder than she would’ve liked it to.

“Kidding,” she quickly said, turning away from him to focus on walking straight. 

“Mhm,” he mumbled rather discontentedly, but when she stole another glance at him, she could see a light filter of amusement settled over his face. 

“You’re being awfully bold, you know,” he mused.

“What?”

“Accusing me of projecting,” he said, “when you were the one who saw me in the Mirror of Erised.”

While nothing he said was new information, the very fact that he dared to utter the name of the mirror startled her. 

“I don’t know what you’re gett--”

“Can you just be  civil for once and admit it?” Draco drawled, turning around to lock his eyes on hers. “You can stop playing games now. I know you know. Rena told me.”

“Rena...she...what?” Y/N choked out, the connection between her mind and her mouth failing. “What did she tell you?”

His painfully calm composure painfully contradicted her flustered one as he smoothly shifted his weight to lean on the wall next to her. “Oh, nothing important, really. Just everything.”

“And what’s that?”

“Ooh, why the fuss?” he prodded. “She told me everything. Is there something that you’re afraid of me knowing?” 

The torchlight above them caught the slightest glint of amusement in his eyes, something that infuriated Y/N to the point where her embarrassment melted away.

“Well,” she snarled, “If you’re trying to make me fancy you less, you’re certainly putting forth quite the effort.”

All movement from the Slytherin ceased as he gaped at her, the amusement in his eyes now completely gone. “You....wait...”

“So she didn’t tell you everything,” Y/N responding dryly, allowed herself to lean back up against the wall. 

“I thought she did. I thought you were being honest, though.”

“Honest when?”

“When you said you hadn’t seen me the last time you went to go see it.”

Y/N allowed her eyes, which were previously glued shut, to crack open just the slightest. The sight of Draco Malfoy awkwardly wringing his hands just a foot or so away greeted her. 

“Hm. Whatever. It doesn’t matter anyways.”

She saw his throat bob as he swallowed hard before regaining his regal composure.

“Er, yeah. That’s true. Can we get on to our rounds? My feet hurt and I want to go to bed.”

“Whatever you say,” she muttered, pushing herself off the wall rather unceremoniously. It’s not like it mattered, anyways. He knew, and he didn’t seem like he had any plans with her included. 

final a/n: whoooooaaaa boy. so i wrote the first few paragraphs in the beginning of the month, and finished the rest of it over a span of time. i have not edited, i have not tagged because i’m tired and just want to get this out there. there WILL be a part 5 and maybe even a part 6. i kinda want to use the fact that they are allowed to be unsupervised in the wee hours of the night to my advantage (no smut, but you know, fluff). i’m sorry that this one wasn’t nearly as good as the one’s i’ve done before. i have another fic i’m thinking of writing soon as well that i’ll most likely be doing over the weekends. once 2019 is over and all my college apps are in, chances are that i’ll have a lot more time to be writing on here :)

A/N: yeah so my game thing came out and i totally didn’t wake up at 5 am just so i would have time to play AND get ready to come to school and fail my science test, spanish quiz and the rest of my finals/ unit tests not only that but i really suck ass at writing titles im so sorry BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME i really hope you all ENJOY

Sure it was stupid but you missed your dog hella bad. She was just sitting at home and had to deal with the person next door taking care of her and if you were going to be honest, he wasn’t your first choice, or even your tenth but he was the only person that could do it. And now you were stuck in some tunnel with Illinois. He had saved your life but your dog must be wondering where the hell you must be. Not only that but you were tired and your feet hurt. Of course Illinois was just talking about something random and seemingly not paying any attention as you quietly let the tears stream down your face. 

“So then I used this rope and totally grabbed this man and- y/n…?” 

You quickly tried your best to pull yourself together, wiping your cheeks and standing up straighter but he already knew that you had been crying. 

“Hey, are you alright? I know I talk about myself a lot and after hearing about my near death experience can do that to a person.” 

“I’m fine.” 

“I’ve been around enough people to know that when somebody says that, especially after crying in an underground tunnel, they are not fine. So let’s sit and you can tell me what’s on your mind.” 

Together you sat on the soft dirt and told him about your dog and how she was a good girl and for once in his life he actually listened to the other person and didn’t try to make the situation about himself. 

“From the way you talk about her, I would love to meet your dog. Maybe once we get out of here I could come visit and see her?” 

“I think we can have that arranged.” 

“I think I see a light down there at the end! We might be getting out of here sooner than I thought.” 

Both of you stood up and started walking towards where Illinois had seen the light. Once the opening was in sight you started to run towards it with him following close behind. 

As you stepped into the fading sunlight and onto the grass, you realized how much you missed something as simple as the sun and the smell of the purple flowers that surrounded you. 

“So, I hope I’m still invited to meet your infamous dog.” 

“Why of course.”

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: either fast or slow, just like everyone else tbh. i respond to mains much faster because we’d already have plotted out a lot and have a rough idea of the thread at hand and characters having engaged in a lot of development with each other tends to play off each other’s responses faster, for me. but i’ll always respond to non-mains asap too ! feel free to im me if you’re wondering about your reply and i’ll let you know how i’m going along with it. i will say that right now i’m at the end of my school semester so i’m going to be focusing a lot on exams for the next one month.

REPLIES: multi-paragraph is my main to go length. novella and one-liners work fine too. i usually stylize my replies a bit with a fondness for using lowercase caps. if this bothers you, please let me know and i’ll make proper adjustments ! we’re both here to have fun and i’m always working to make the rp experience as fun for my partners !

I don’t think there’s really a wrong way to write (grammar and spelling aside), but here are some of my beliefs and my own advice! 

I think when it comes down to writing, especially for fanfiction, it’s important to remember that it’s a labor of love and you should write what you love and enjoy! If you’re not having fun while doing it and aren’t writing what you want, then why do it? 

You took the time and energy to create something that’s uniquely yours. It doesn’t matter if it’s any other AU that is considered “popular” among your fandom, this take is uniquely your own. And take pride in your work!

that’s not to say steal from other writers that’s plagiarism and i trust you know already not to do that but because this is the internet, i feel like this caveat has to be made

Also, I do encourage you to tag properly. In many fandoms, there are just too many fics to go through and tagging really helps the reader in finding your work! It also prevents people who may not be into the type of work you’re making from reading it and causing issues down the line.   

So have fun, and again I’m so glad to hear that you want to write! There’s never too many ideas, never too many stories c: Once it’s done, please link me! I’d be more than happy to read~

aight here’s some things that I do that personally helps me when I’m writing:

0. FEEL FREE TO DISREGARD ANY OF THE BELOW. Honestly, the way I write may not jive with you and that’s totally fine. This is just what I do. You’ll find your own rhythm or discover it along the way, but these are just some suggestions. 

1. Free write. 

-It sounds like you’re busy and might not have time throughout the day to just sit down and write for hours on end and if this is the case, sometimes just putting something down on paper/typing it up is small progress that gradually builds. It’s okay if it looks disjointed or a bit wonky at first-- you can smooth things over later. 

2. conversely, Write your rough drafts as a story skeleton. I’m a particular sorta creature, so if you have the time, I can recommend

It kinda looks like a play. Example: dead dove do not eat btw 

-C locks the door- 

C  "What are you going to tell the police, angel? That a billionaire is obsessively in love with you, a Soho bookseller, “ -A flinches as C approaches closer- “And kidnapped you all the way to his country villa and forged a completely new life for you?" 

-commotion outside from the storm-

A, pouting as he’s backing up against the wall "...well, you don't have to put it that way."

it can read fine just the way I wrote it lol but the point is-- having the scene already laid out in front of you helps with building the rest of the story and makes filling in details a lot smoother.

I also recommend using this method if you’d like your dialogue to run smoother.

3. Read things out loud. 

-It really helps. especially with dialogue. Think “is this something C/A/an actual human being would say in this manner?” it also helps with sentence structures. If you can read your paragraphs out loud without getting lost or winded, then the reader can too. 

4. Don’t make chunky paragraphs. 

-I need to take this advice lol Our eyes get tired as we read big blocks of letters strung together. Make them digestible. If you’re enjoying the spacing and it looks good to your eyes, chances are, they’re good for the reader too. 

5. Don’t apologize for being a first-time fic writer or antagonize your own writing especially in the summary.

-I see this a lot where the writer says “sorry if summary sucks” or “Sorry, first time writing!” and I think it sends a bad message to the reader. It tells the reader that you’re not confident in your writing skills. If you’re not confident, then the reader isn’t confident in your abilities. 

6. Don’t be afraid to share it! 

-Tumblr, ao3, Wattpad, you name it. Be proud of your work! I can honestly say that I love my own writing and that’s the primary drive to why I write in the first place-- I have an idea that no one else is gonna write for me (because I can’t afford commissions no siree), so if what I got is what I got, then I’m gonna make it good for myself. 

And I’m my own worst critic. If I like it, then I think it’s def gonna be good enough to share with other people so we can enjoy the same thing! 

7. It’s not worth getting upset over feedback.

-Whether it’s getting criticism or if there aren’t a lot of notes, comments, or kudos, it’s okay. Every writer has been there. 

-For negative feedback, remember that unless this person is harassing you or just putting down the fic without anything constructive at all, delete it and move on with your day. If they had no ill intent behind it, it may be worth considering their comment, but in the end, the choice is yours. 

-If there’s not enough feedback, then remind yourself of the reason why you made this fic: was it to gain traction as a writer? To polish your writing skills that you will eventually use to make your own original works or make more fics? If so, then go back to step 6. Promote it, share it, tell your friends and followers about it and there’s absolutely no shame in that. 

-And if you wrote primarily for the fun of it, because this was an idea in your head that you wanted to see, then that’s okay. You made a work you’re proud of and if you’re happy with that work, then don’t let this be a numbers game that will make you sad or upset. Your work is good enough when you’re happy with it; you only need to please yourself for it to have been a success.

1. Which trope you’re writing is the hardest for you?

this took a while to think about. so i’ll say anything dealing with time or ether dimension is the hardest to write about. for me, part of the problem is my mind trying to wrap around physics and making sense of it because i want to be realistic (which broke me a little). 

jokers game (a wip currently on hiatus and should be renamed since it’s cheesy) and wicked seven deals with this kind of dimension travelling trope...i’m starting to get an idea as i’m sketching out the outline and notes. 

2. Who are five of your favorite characters from books/tv shows/etc.?

okay so, im listing out my favorites so they’re re-l and vincent law (ergo proxy), zoya from the grishaverse...she’s everything a girl/boy/person can dream of and i am gay, and i hate to say this but i have to include it bc he’s a persona/brand...richard papen from the secret history. lastly, zhou ying (nothing gold can stay)...i just dig characters that are down to earth but headstrong and resilient af 

3. Who are five of your favorite ocs?

etienne, an oc from @popovs, he’s such a cool, refreshing character and my mind is still in awe from the excerpts shown abt him. a little mysterious bc i want to hear more about this dude. 

i have to mention that isadora or izzy, is one of the few characters i’m really rooting for, hope she could accomplish her goals in finding nadine and more (her relationships with maris and patrick is goals, honestly and also my favorites). bless @wiipciity coming up this amazing character!

4. What literary devices do you enjoy reading most? Are they the same ones you like to write most?

zeugma is one of the literary devices i enjoy the most, there’s something short and melodic about it that makes me excited to read on (funny i found myself using zeugma as if it’s my second nature). oh, i especially love euphemism and personification though i tend to write more of the latter. irony is also something i like to find and read about but not so much writing it...it tends to fall flat imo

5. If you could only have one WIP, which would it be? Why?

i’m keeping these hungry dogs, i rather not lose my other wips tbhh but having thd sticking with me for years made me biased...ope

6. Fantasy or Contemporary?

fantasy, it is my roots 

7. Romance or Bromance?

bromance, i just find them enjoyable to read and write about, also we need more of bromance in literature/media, they deserve the same spotlight 

8. Do you have any pet peeves in writing?

i typically find it’s insulting to have writers ‘spoon-feed’ their readers information, thinking they aren’t smart enough to figure the plot twist or foreshadowing by themselves. it’s very obvious when it does happen and i find it as a turn-off and quit reading. it’s sigh, most of the time it’s the writers not trusting their readers and this has to stop

as a playlist kind of person, Ramsey could be a perfect fit for heir of the alchemist, she is an absolute phenomenon and powerhouse in vocals, the rawness of it, yes

hope everyone agrees to this or else i’m going to the corner. so this is for taglists, mainly. whenever i explictly said that ‘ask me to be added/removed to the taglist’, i ACTUALLY meant that, send me an ask. 

it’s been years and it bothers me a lot. instead, i keep having people writing in the tags asking me if they could be added, and chances are, i won’t be able to know or see them. trust me, i don’t have to the time to go through every reblogs/tags to look for them. and i am sure it isn’t just me who had this problem. i think i discussed with @montevena about this a while back and it’s tiring. 

but i need to throw this out that this isn’t an attack, i happen to make the same mistakes but actively trying to fix that. i think it goes with writeblr etiquettes, i believe there’s a post about this by @pens-swords-stuff...i apologize for this heated essay

The Mun

The Mun is 21+ and most muses are adults unless told otherwise. 

I don’t have anything that needs to be tagged other then NSFW. This regards pictures only, mostly related to smut. Please have a bio and rules page available. It’s much easier to get to know you and your character that way. Otherwise I’m unlikely to follow you.

I will not follow personals nor will I roleplay with them. However, personals can send in asks directed at both mun and muse if you like.

Just because I don’t follow you, doesn’t mean I won’t RP with you. I have my reasons for this and in no way reflects poorly on you as a role player. I’d like to rp with everyone but I’d like to keep my dash manageable.

If we’re mutuals, I want to roleplay with you but it’s okay if you don’t want to rp with me. You can tell me no just as I have the right to tell you no.

If you’re a person of the same muse or face claim as me, I’m still willing to rp with you. Threads

I’m AU/Crossover/Multi-verse friendly.

I like plotting beforehand but random rps are okay too. Check the muse pages for Verses and wishlists!

I tend to do paragraph rps but I’ll do one-liners and all that. I also use icons from time to time, you never have to match my length or use icons if you don’t want to. As long as you give me something to work with, it’s all good.

Any RP blog can reply to my OPENers, Joke RPs, IC or Dash Commentaries unless it’s stated otherwise (like it’s mentioned mutuals only). If you see an opener you like and it already has notes on it, you can still reply to it or make a new thread and @ myname in it. With or without my permission.

I’m okay with violent rps, simply be realistic. (Talking to me first is preferable.) If you put my muses life in danger, expect them to fight back.If you ever send me an ask or vice versa and wish to turn that ask into a thread. By all means do so, with or without my permission. All I ask is that use the @ myname so I can see it.

If I’ve not liked a thread or responded to it in a few days at first, please let me know, I might have missed it.

If I’m rping with you and haven’t replied in a while, remind me. I might have forgotten/lost the thread. If said it’s in drafts, then I’ll get to it. Sometimes I have a hard time, other times because of life I don’t have time too. I like putting 100% into my threads and would rather not half-ass it because I’m tired. I’m also always willing to do more than one thread with you but I can be slow at replying.

If you ever want to drop a thread with me, you can let me know and we can plot out something new when you’re ready. If you don’t want something new, that’s cool too. Rping is made to be fun and if a thread no longer fun then why stress?

Shipping

I like shipbuilding. I would much rather our characters interact and be friends before starting a ship. I feel slow burns give more content to rp and chemistry is important. I don’t want it to be all fluff either, people disagree and fight but this should never turn into an abusive thing. (Unless we want it that way.)

My level of comfort really varies when it comes to shipping characters. The muns will have had to be in communication for a bit and rules discussed beforehand if we really want to dive into it but in general, while shipping is fun it’s not something I outwardly seek.

I have no problem with your muse expressing romantic feelings towards mine but if I’ve not discussed this, i’m going to turn it down but unrequited love is a thing.

I’m multi-verse / multi-ship. I reserve the right to stop our ship just like you have the right to tell me the same. Things happen, muses don’t work out. It’s cool to stop or try and work it out. I don’t want this to be a stressful thing and would rather the muns remain friends but if that can’t work out. it’s cool too.

honestly, because of shipping wars i’m hesitant to reveal who I ship to you all, as I don’t want to have to defend myself. I don’t want to be forced to feel like the only way to get around some of the toxic fans if through a bloody fist fight:

I will agree with you, and also disagree with you. 

where I agree with you is about this entire toxic shipper trait that runs within many and nearly all fandoms. every single fandom I was apart of prior to bnha have all experience shipping wars. hell, I am a veteran on the naruto fandom war. I was heavily invested into the fandom circa months before and up until it ended. I was a major and hardcore naruhina shipper. please if you’re a narusasu, narusaku, kibahina, sasuhina, whatever, do not come to me expressing why my feelings towards them are wrong. simply I am sick and tired of shipping wars.

they are by far the worst things about shipping and fandoms. I took a class on ethics and morals, and one of the biggest get aways I took from it was this: never say that people are allowed to have their own opinion. thats how we get nazi’s. so lets view this in… a utilitarian viewpoint. say, for example, if I shipped bakudeku. they make me happy. the amazing content creators that stretch from drawers, writers, and filmmakers are amazing. they all make me happy. thats great! we love that! now my one friend who does not ship tododeku, but instead ships bakudeku. what should I do?

a. scoff, they’re wrong! TODODEKU OR BUST!!!!

b. smile awkwardly, nod your head, and ask “why?” full of judgment

c. literally gag as you shake your head. this friendship is so over.

d. pull out my 1000 slide powerpoint on all the damning evidence as to why tododeku is the best ship, and a 17205879268276048529 slide powerpoint as to why bakudeku is actually a super toxic ship, and how dare you like that ship? “do you support abusive relationships?” you ask, your upper lip curling at your best friend.

what is your choice? thats correct, the correct choice is option E. NONE OF THE FUCKING ABOVE. in which case is this making you happy? your friend has their own interpretation of the damn text, as do you clearly so do or else we would all be shipping the same thing. as long as it clearly does not interfere with deemed normal guidelines, why do you care so much? 

we can all agree we love these characters or else you wouldn’t be in these fandoms, and maybe youre one of those people who are only here for two characters interactions. but how in the damn world is shoving down someones feeling nice? there you are talking about love between two characters and shit over someone elses. what you should do is nod your head, respect what they damn ship, and go ahead and share your own ships! but you know what you should NEVER do???? bash another ship.

stop trying to find someone to fight. no I don’t care about who started it! just stop! there, especially on tumblr, many older fans. im sure we’ve all seen our fair share of ships wars, and its fantastic to be passionate about your ship, definitely don’t stop!!!! but if you’re constantly fighting others over it and bringing another ship to raise up your own…. just leave the fandom. I dont want to see you on the tags ever. i want to see art, writings, and theories, and fun things. where I disagree with you:

people are going to always ship things. we’re human and automatically force social relations between things. it’s a weird psychological thing that many, not all, but many of us have. it’s especially prominent when the main cast is not evenly mixed in terms of representation. this is why male x male ships are so prominent. it’s because the only female main character is uraraka. no one else really is a main character. I love my girl momo, yall know that, but shes not a main character just because she had a mental breakdown during final exams and is super rich smart and pretty. it’s just us being gay. she’s not as important of a character and it annoys me. 

I think people talk about their ships because it makes them happy, and if it’s something that truly annoys you i say you have to keep scrolling, or maybe move to something like reddit, the fandom there is strictly business, no shipping on the general tag. tumblr is a content place and works with tagging, so things involving ships is prominent because this site makes is…. easier…. not really, but easier. so you’ll come across ships because everyone uses the #bnha and #mha tag on their things! on reddit is very much more controlled.

You entered Namjoon’s apartment with a gift in one hand, and the other your laptop case, Mia right by your side, soon disappearing somewhere. Right away your eyes meet Namjoon’s and the loud bass music fills your ears. “Hey! Happy Birthday, again.” The awkwardness visible in the tension, due to the last thing that happened when you too were in each others houses. 

“Thanks, again.” He flashes his dimples. You hand him his gift and he smiles even more. “Thanks,... I’ll put it somewhere special… By the way, if you wanna start studying now, my rooms on the last door in the hallway.” He gestures towards the hallway. 

You nod as a thanks. “I think I’ll be social for now, thanks though.” You both walk away out into the crowd. You right away spot Mia talking to Yoongi and Hoseok by the island in the kitchen. 

“Woah, girly I thought you were supposed to be studying.” Hoseok says. 

“What? I can’t say Happy Birthday and be social for a bit?” You sassily say. 

“Okay, Okay, Calm down…” He responds, putting his hands up in defense. 

“Mhm… “ You roll your eyes, shifting your weight to your right leg. 

“Okay, anyways… You need a drink… Let’s go.” Yoongi grabs your arm and leads you to the bar. 

“Nooo, I don’t im 20, it’s not even legal for me to--”

“You know, damn well, you drink, you’re a fucking college student.” He laughs. You laugh along with him. 

“I need to do work, Yoongi.” 

“Yeah, you also need to stop focusing on school, you have a career now.” You let him do whatever he wants and just give in to his orders. He pours you tequila, which you cannot handle, over ice. “Drink it, fast.” He hands you a lime and you already know what to do. 

“That's... “ You feel a little tipsy already. “That.. strong, and that’s enough.” You get out of his grip and head to Namjoon’s room, knocking before going in to finish your essay. 

“Come in!” You hear Joon’s voice answer. 

Gripping your laptop case, and turning the knob you spot Namjoon’s face, seeing him getting his phone from off the charger. “Are you busy, I don’t wanna bother you.” You say to him, getting ready to leave.

“Uh no, I was just getting my phone don’t worry about me.”

“Oh, Okay.” You say he exits the room and slightly close to door. The tension between you too still kind of bothers you. Not sure where to sit at, you kind of look around, exploring with your eyes only. You automatically can see that Namjoon is a plant and plushie lover. There's bright green plant, hanging from the ceiling, and a ryan plushie on one of the shelves. You spot his desk, which you ever saw until and decided to finally take a seat. You put your laptop on the desk and begin working.

On the other hand, it’s only 7 and people are already getting drunk, you can hear Hoseok's loud laugh from Namjoon’s room. You laugh at the thought of him.

By now, it’s 11:45 and you’re stressed out by now. You moved to Namjoon’s bed to be more comfortable, hoping he won't mind. You’ve deleted your first body paragraph over ten times. And when you decide to keep it how it was from the beginning, Google Docs decides to crash and don’t work. Yoongi was right, you need to stop worrying about school and just stop going in general. 

For the first time in hours, you get up on your feet and decide to social to gain some energy. But at the same time as you open the door and walk out of the room your body collides with Namjoon, you’re guessing.

“I’m sorry, are you o-

“D-do you need help? You look really tired.” He read right through you.

“Yeah, honestly,” You sigh

“Don’t worry I majored not only in Music, but in Literature, what’s the issue.” He walks over to his desk to see your laptop isn't there, but onto his bed.

“Oh I.. um.. Layed there for a while because I was uncomfortable… I hope that wasn't a problem.” You shyly say, playing with your fingernails.

“Oh, no, I have no problem with it, as long as your fine.” He crashes down onto the bed next to your laptop and pats the spot next to him. “Come on,” Since when have you guys gotten this close? You follow his orders and move your hand along the trackpad to get your laptop out of sleep mode. “What’s the issue?” 

“Well…” You explain to him what your report is about, which is basically why Biomolecules are important. Your literature professor and Biology professor decided to do two grades in one, which you thought was really easy until you got around to doing it. 

Namjoon finishes explaining the structure of the body paragraph you should go for and you finally understand what you were missing. You gasp loudly and laugh at your rookie mistake. “Thank you so much.” 

“No problem,” Namjoon smiles. “Go ahead and finish, I’m watching.” That made you shift a little, maybe too much.

“Uh, okay…” By the time you’re finished typing the body, which was ten sentences, you see Namjoon sound asleep. “That was fast, you say to yourself.” You try and get up to go out and socially before hitting submit on your assignment, but Namjoon’s arm pull you back down, which surprised you a ton. 

“Y/n… Can we talk?” His voice was low and raspy. He sits straight up and looks at you, waiting for a response. 

“Um.. about?” You ask, sitting down too.

“You know… “ He sits a little closer to you. "Us?"

"Us?" You repeat.

"Yeah, I mean… you still haven't given me an answer and it kinda sucks waiting weeks, knowing you have an interest in me.. and it's mutual yet, you arent mine." His voice got lighter, and he sounded unsure of himself.

You awed and blushed at his smooth yet shy words. "Namjoon… honestly, I was too afraid to tell you how I felt… you're my first boy-"

"Love?" He completed your sentence. "Oh…" He then says, noticing you were about to say boyfriend. You were about to say something but he just shushes you. "No need to talk, I understand, Yn." He engulfed you into a hug. Proud that he understood you, you smiled and deepen the hug. Making you to jump, Namjoon’s phone alarm goes off and it says 12:00AM. “It’s time to open gifts now, wanna come with?” He says.

You nod and you both stand up onto your feet. He holds his hands out and you both link hands and walk down the hallway until you get to the dining room, where everyone is. 

“There he is, I thought you ran away.” Jungkook says towards Namjoon, but his eyes are shifted towards you, by Namjoon’s side.

“I could’ve but… I had to solve some issues.” He smiles

“Okay, first gift is from….” Jungkook flips the box around to look for the tag, noticing it's your box, you shift your weight to your left leg. “Yn!” He says. “Open it, hyung.” He hands to gift to him and begins to unwrap it slowly. 

Namjoon begins to open the gift and smile creepys upon his face as he sees what it is. 

“What is it?” Hoseok says, as if he doesn't know because he helped you pick it. 

Namjoon begins to laugh as he says, “It’s another Ryan.” Along with everyone. “But it’s mine…” His eyes shifts towards you.

As for following back, I usually take a week tops to do so - but if you’ve hit up my promo, I go through that eventually.

If it’s a crossover, I have to know the fandom and be at least a little bit confident with it. This is so I’m able to work with you, our thread and have muse for it.

I follow the tag #trappingguy. If there’s anything you want me to see, like dash commentary, just tag that and x-kit will alert me of your post! I may respond to ic stuff ic stuff if I’m feeling it.

In that sense, I’m chill with dash shenanigans with most folk, not just mutuals!

Absolutely no godmodding. It ain’t fun, fam. If you’re not sure what this term means, do look it up. This includes powerplaying, metagaming, and other things of that nature. This applies especially in fights if they happen (I’m chance-based and hope that you are too).

I can be picky with OCs. But rest assured, if you’ve followed me/interacted with my promo, I’ll always give your pages a read.

Please don’t be offended if I don’t want to interact with you (and please don’t try to guilt me into doing so!).

I DON’T CARE ABOUT AESTHETICS. I just think they’re pretty. If you don’t use formatting or anything like that, or heck - even wanna’ just do iconless rp - I have no problem with it whatsoever! It’s you, your writing and your muse I care about!

3. Please don’t rush me for starters or responses.

PLEASE understand that I have blogs galore and my muse tends to fluctuate; this can mean I’m everywhere at once and can end up neglecting a blog or two. It’s nothing personal; you know how muses are!

I have a full-time job (and I’m trying to get into screenwriting in my off-time) so sometimes I’m scrapped for time or exhausted. I’m also an introvert who deals with anxiety and depression, thus that may affect how much / how often I roleplay. If I don’t get chance to respond to anything ic or ooc, it’s nothing personal! Promise!

Chances are, I’ve probably has seen that bit of interactivity and just haven’t gotten around to responding yet.

My roleplaying style being para/multi-para, I may take a while to respond. I hoard drafts like a dragon - it’s really just the motivation to write and ship those out.

I hoard asks, but sometimes can’t find muse or interest for all of them. If it’s been a month or two, generally assume I’m not interested / can’t find muse for it. You’re free to send another though!

I answer asks from anyone - personals, rp blogs and anons. I’ll answer non-mutual asks occaisonally but I won’t be making threads out of them

4. Shippings? If they’re of similar age, sure!

If I don’t happen to be interested, don’t force anything on my character.

I do not ship incestuous ships. Do NOT follow/interact if you do.

The ship has to have chemistry; I’m generally shipping trash, but if they don’t click, they don’t click, sorry.

This is a multi-ship blog, meaning there will be more than one ship without them conflicting with eachother.

If you want to ship and I already have a ship of your choosing going with a duplicate, please don’t hesitate to hmu! My ships aren’t exclusive and each character/relationship portrayal is unique to me!

Relationships are eternal until you deem otherwise. If you’re not interested in a ship anymore, just let me know!

5. Whilst I am of age, I’m not aiming for sexual content on this blog (and will not be dealing with fetishes). The occasional joke is fine, but anything beyond that makes me uncomfortable, and I typically don’t recommend pulling it with my character if you’re interacting with me. 

6. About reblogs…

I am not a meme source, and reblogs clog up my activity. Please reblog any memes you find on this blog from their SOURCE. The exception to this rule is if there is no source; go ahead.

I don’t feel comfortable with Personals reblogging my IC or OOC posts, so please don’t do that. If I put something in the fandom tags for whatever reason (bar promos), you’re free to, though.

This goes for my art too unless it has the tag ok to rb, but otherwise only the person I drew it for can reblog it. If you wanna’ reblog something, I DO put it on my art blog eventually!

A few times is fine, as it happens, but repeatedly breaking these rules will result in me soft blocking you.

I try to participate in reblog karma as much as I can, but always reblog from the source/a meme source.

If a post or ask is for you, you’re free to reblog it to save it though - but only if you’re an rp blog!

7. I’m a para / multi-para blog, novella if I’m adventurous and have time. Whilst I may roleplay crack threads with shorter responses, this does not apply to all threads I write. This means:

I write my replies as detailed as I can muster, and length can range from 1 paragraph to 6.

Short responses (such as one-liners) in more serious threads where I’ve written a decent deal can instantly kill my muse for that thread.

Whilst I’d prefer for partners to at least somewhat match my length, it’s entirely up to you - just try your best and make sure you give me enough to work with. ♡

If my muse happen to go nuts out of nowhere - like, overboard - don’t stress too much about matching him.

8. Threads! You can yeet asks, memes, and even starters at me if I’ve liked a call! I’ll obviously have my own you can like.

You’re free to like starter calls even if we’re not mutuals; I can check out your blog that way. I still only write starters for mutuals though.

Starter memes are the BEST way to interact me because they just yeet a prompt at my face and really help me write starters. If you see me reblog one, send one!

If you want a certain verse, lemme’ know! Otherwise, I’ll probably default to a post-canon verse.

If you want to turn an ask into a thread, go ahead!

I don’t recommend writing starters for me unless we’ve discussed something. I don’t like to leave anyone hanging.

Please don’t be offended if I deny, though; I typically want to pick those I trust to be my mains as well as people I can comfortably write with.

Not limited to them! I roleplay with duplicates galore so don’t be afraid to hit me up if you want to interact!

Pre-established relationships are a-okay in my book; if you have an idea for a relationship between our muses we can work towards, hit me up! I reblog those pre-established relationship memes every so often too. Romantic relationships link back to the shipping guidelines.

THE SCRIPT:

1. Themes will vary with this blog. Bob is a morbid guy, so I wouldn’t advise following if you’re not used to his character. There will likely be violence, themes of murder and crime, as well as that messed up obsession with wanting to kill Bart Simpson. If you’re not comfortable with that, steer clear!

I don’t have any triggers but I do ask you tag all of your NSFW (sexual) content.

I’m of age, and thus I won’t be writing anything to that end with minors. Not that I’d be writing much of it anyway.

2. I’m private, which means I only write with mutuals (this is for my own sanity / comfort; everyone’s cool!). I’ll write with canon, oc, and crossover characters.

Although I’m private, when it comes to following people, I’m selective. We don’t have to have known each other prior to write!

As for following back, I usually take a week tops to do so - but if you’ve hit up my promo, I go through that eventually.

If it’s a crossover, I have to know the fandom and be at least a little bit confident with it. This is so I’m able to work with you, our thread and have muse for it.

3. Please don’t rush me for starters or responses.

PLEASE understand that I have blogs galore and my muse tends to fluctuate; this can mean I’m everywhere at once and can end up neglecting a blog or two. It’s nothing personal; you know how muses are!

I have a full-time job (and I’m trying to get into screenwriting in my off-time) so sometimes I’m scrapped for time or exhausted. I'm also an introvert who deals with anxiety and depression, thus that may affect how much / how often I roleplay. If I don’t get chance to respond to anything ic or ooc, it’s nothing personal! Promise!

Chances are, I’ve probably has seen that bit of interactivity and just haven’t gotten around to responding yet.

My roleplaying style being para/multi-para, I may take a while to respond. I hoard drafts like a dragon - it’s really just the motivation to write and ship those out.

I hoard asks, but sometimes can’t find muse or interest for all of them. If it’s been a month or two, generally assume I’m not interested / can’t find muse for it. You’re free to send another though!

I answer asks from anyone - personals, rp blogs and anons. I’ll answer non-mutual asks occaisonally but I won’t be making threads out of them

4. Shippings? If they’re of similar age, sure! With Bob, it’s a little timey whimey since he’s married, but we could figure something out.

If I don’t happen to be interested, don’t force anything on my character.

I do not ship incestuous ships. Do NOT follow/interact if you do.

Also the same rule applies to this next thing. It would go without saying, but given the nature of this fandom... for the love of God, no shipping any of the kids with Bob.

The ship has to have chemistry; I’m generally shipping trash, but if they don’t click, they don’t click, sorry.

This is a multi-ship blog, meaning there will be more than one ship without them conflicting with eachother.

If you want to ship and I already have a ship of your choosing going with a duplicate, please don’t hesitate to hmu! My ships aren’t exclusive and each character/relationship portrayal is unique to me!

Relationships are eternal until you deem otherwise. If you’re not interested in a ship anymore, just let me know!

5. Whilst I am of age, I’m not aiming for sexual content on this blog (and will not be dealing with fetishes). The occasional joke is fine, but anything beyond that makes me uncomfortable, and I typically don’t recommend pulling it with my character if you’re interacting with me. Nonetheless, should it arise, I will tag it appropriately as nsfw //.

6. About reblogs…

I am not a meme source, and reblogs clog up my activity. Please reblog any memes you find on this blog from their SOURCE. The exception to this rule is if there is no source; go ahead.

I don’t feel comfortable with Personals reblogging my IC or OOC posts, so please don’t do that. If I put something in the fandom tags for whatever reason (bar promos), you’re free to, though.

This goes for my art too unless it has the tag ok to rb, but otherwise only the person I drew it for can reblog it. If you wanna’ reblog something, I DO put it on my art blog eventually!

A few times is fine, as it happens, but repeatedly breaking these rules will result in me soft blocking you.

I try to participate in reblog karma as much as I can, but always reblog from the source/a meme source.

If a post or ask is for you, you’re free to reblog it to save it though - but only if you’re an rp blog!

7. I’m a para / multi-para blog, novella if I’m adventurous and have time. Whilst I may roleplay crack threads with shorter responses, this does not apply to all threads I write. This means:

I write my replies as detailed as I can muster, and length can range from 1 paragraph to 6.

Short responses (such as one-liners) in more serious threads where I’ve written a decent deal can instantly kill my muse for that thread.

Whilst I’d prefer for partners to at least somewhat match my length, it’s entirely up to you - just try your best and make sure you give me enough to work with. ♡

If my muse happen to go nuts out of nowhere - like, overboard - don’t stress too much about matching him.

8. Threads! You can yeet asks, memes, and even starters at me if I’ve liked a call! I’ll obviously have my own you can like.

You’re free to like starter calls even if we’re not mutuals; I can check out your blog that way. I still only write starters for mutuals though.

I know pretty much most Bob media, bar the comics because I’ve only read a few of them.

Starter memes are the BEST way to interact me because they just yeet a prompt at my face and really help me write starters. If you see me reblog one, send one!

If you want a certain verse, lemme’ know! Otherwise, I’ll probably default to a post-canon verse.

If you want to turn an ask into a thread, go ahead!

In that sense, I don’t recommend writing starters for me unless we’ve discussed something. I don’t like to leave anyone hanging.

Users Manual

Use Search Function and Key Words to skip portions and find what you’re looking for. 

Interaction Generalizations. 

     Just be nice. The meaner and more impatient you are, the less inclined I am to interact. It’s how to push me far, far, FAR away from you; I’m anxious, tired, old af and just here to relax.       Please don’t hesitate to DM or Inbox me, the WORST thing that could happen is I say no thank you right? Unless you’re being a dick and then the worst thing is I ignore and block. But I mean if you’re coming in prolapse first, I’m probably not going to give the time of day. So.... Be nice! 

I cut my lengths, usually by approx 2-4 posts depending how short/long our responses are. 

Responses/One Liners/ParaRP

     Please don’t hesitate to write as much as you feel appropriate. If you write a para novella response, I will do my best to give back what I have been given, but please don’t treat it like a high school essay (Don’t double space, HEADERize everything and then add a lot of cushioning words, or repeat yourself unnecessarily. I want to be able to respond to you too!). If you seem disinterested, please don’t suffer through a thread, I am happy to finish a thread if you feel that it is done and spent or have no muse for it. We can start another or plot or even just leave it there until we have the muse for their interactions again. 

    I personally prefer Para, or longer, but sometimes my time constraints only allow for so much and I will understand for yours as well. Don’t feel bad if I slam you with a paratellenovella in a six part series and you only put out a few paragraphs; sometimes it’s a lot of establishing and internalizing for characters that I enjoy exploring too! Don’t feel that you have to match letter counts or length. You write what you want and if we don’t feel it then there is no hard feelings.

Starters.

     If they’re tagged as an open thread, please feel free. If it’s open to mutuals only, please respect it. If you want to interact and you want something along that plot; Message me. You’ll be much better received this way than you will be if you insert yourself into threads not meant for you.      Closed starters are strictly meant for those my partner(s) and I have tagged. If we bring some one else in, it is not an invitation to slide in like a Stop Light Bar. 

Ask threads/Separated Open Starters

     If it’s a thread that you are continuing with me, please don’t hesitate to start a separate thread with it! I’ll appreciate it, and believe me, so will you; no dealing with other threads that might stem from it, no dealing with the likes of acknowledgement from the rest of the rp community, and a much neater, easier to use posting format. 

     Are you posting an open starter? ahhh.... I might... have to message you. I’m quite anxious that people are overwhelmed with threads so I will likely message you regarding it first. If you are overwhelmed, tell me. I do not take offense. We can plot when you have time and if you feel it. I promise I’m not ignoring your starters; I’m just very anxious. If there is something that you would like to plot please just tag me randomly or DM me! I will do my best to reciprocate this as well! I just need time; I’m anxious and sometimes it counterbalances my meds and I’m more ‘FLEE’ than I am ‘BREATHE’. 

TRIGGERS/WARNINGS/READ MORES

     Triggers; I have none. I really dislike slamming a random thing into an established thread, but I’m not against it in most aspects. What do I mean by this? Please don’t have a cute thread going with me and then BAM CHAR A IS NOW RAGING ANGRY THAT CHAR B IS DOING THIS THING WE NEVER ESTABLISHED HAPPEN. Now if Char A is angry because Char B said something offensive (meant or not) and Char A lands a punch on B; then, Yes. I do not mind this. If you leave an action open, I will use my discretion whether or not it lands (Keep in mind I do love seeing how androids in distress will behave on any/given terms). If I leave an action open to your discretion of being hit or dodging, please do not JUST dodge it every time. I’m trying to give you the option of progressing a fight, not feed you pudding through a straw.       As far as violence, gore, etc; I do not mind it. If it gets too gory, we will use RMs or fade it. If it’s too kinky then I will tag and possibly read more it. It all depends on it’s severity and the warning. 

      Warnings for me are often forgotten; it’s not out of disrespect but because I DO forget. I have lots of things I need to study and RP wise, recalling a hundred and eighty four details is not exactly a priority. It’s not that you’re not important as a partner; it’s that I can fix it if you bring it up with me and we’re adults. I will do my best but please, understand, sometimes I need reminding. 

    Read mores I forget more often than not, if I use them at all. xkit has a blacklist function. Please use it as it’s more reliable than I am if sex/etc offends you (though if it does I’m not sure what is compelling you this far into my blog). If my partner uses/requests them, I can often remember since they will likely be using them as well, but if I’m using them for a sole reason of this trigger then I’ll likely forget. 

Late replies/Slow Replies/Ignored Replies

     As a general rule I will do my best to respond to threads as often as my time constraints give me, but that also relies on how me or Connor responds to the thread/the topic/muse.       Late replies will likely happen as I’m quite slow at times. If I respond to thread A three or four more times before I respond to thread B, it’s just because I feel thread A more. It doesn’t mean that I dislike our thread, it’s just based on what Connor is willing to do as a muse at that moment. If it feels like I’m ignoring your reply; has it been a few days? You can prod me if I’m responding regularly and come off like I’ve gotten through most of my threads, but if it’s been a week or two please prod me. I might not have seen it, or have forgotten about it. Do not, however, ask me why I respond to Thread C more than that thread, guilt me, try to manipulate me or get short with me. I’m here to have fun, not as a compulsive demand. I am a human just like you and sometimes life just happens to overwhelm me more often than you or the next person.  Thank you for understanding, though! 

Magic Anons/Topic Suggestions/Anon

     MA will be accepted most days, but please give me a time frame for it or I will assume it as three days MY time, or if it is something that I don’t see taking a significant amount of time X amount of hours that I’ll choose myself. IE MA!Connors a real boy.  No time? I’ll select for you. Connor as a real boy would be lovely, so I would likely suggest three days.  MA!Connor is stuck in his suit for a week! A week? That’s insanely long, I will take liberty and shorten the time to a few days, or I’ll just override it/ignore it.       Topic suggestions are adorable and sometimes quite interactive and fun! You get content you like, I get a topic to try with my partner(s) and every one wins! Maybe a few people don’t but that, again, is what xkit is for.       Anons will be interacted with as Civilians or generic Androids. Regularly visiting Anons will be named and respectively tagged to the best of my ability. Any anon hate, call out anons, gate keeper anons, fussing anons will be just ignored. No skin off my back, none off of Connors, and even less off of the rest of my follower base. If Anons are inboxing for critique or an opinion asked for- then I’m happy to respond or even read them, I may post them, I might not. It is all up to me. It’s my blog, my Connor and if you dislike him, why is you here? It’s not meant to sound rude, but there are many of us out there, find some one that makes you happy.

     Hello! It’s a hit or miss with me! I prefer fleshed out characters with their own sets of flaws, ups, downs, perfections and quirks.       Things that will quickly turn me off of a character, please respect that this is only personal preferences, are inserts, selfserts, Sues, confusing characters, drama/tragic types (IE whole family dead. Became a ninja, almost died of abuse, saved by a four legged fox with 72 tails that died shortly after training. Turns out they were kami status legend and this char is taking their place but no one believes in them so they are dying and doki doki club literature inspired their life).       Fun parody characters are well received too! Hi there Sumo Rpers, Super minor cameo androids and/or Officer Wilson (Sweet Cop saved on the rooftop in Mission one)

     I do not do autoships unless we discuss it. I refuse to continue a thread in which some one is forcing a relationship or has inserted themselves into Connors life. He does not have children, he doesn’t have ‘file’ children (Like the child Cortana makes in Halo), Connor doesn’t have adopted children he doesn’t know about. If you want to autoship please talk to me. If you want it enough you’ll prod me! Think of it this way; we can scream about it together and yell about it as long as we want and then we totally get to do it if we’re both in agreement!

      I have no real preference to who/what Connor does. Likely if they exist in the game I’m down to ship them (this includes Rk900s, Gavins, Hanks, etc). I’m purely curious to see what this muse clicks with. I have every right to say no as much as you do. Keep in mind that unless we establish it I play him with his genitalia but he will not be a Traci type. He is and always will be RK800 model.
