I know I joke when I say the world is so sick and twisted but it actually is. There's speculation that SM was behind this all along just to get Seunghan to "voluntarily" leave Riize. But no, he was coerced, forced to do this.

I'm now seeing multiple international kpop shops halting their stocks of Riize products. I'm hoping and praying that SM realizes the kind of shit they are under and take real action.

Apparently they are doing legal action, but there were two statements. One addressing Riize, and one addressing seunghan separately.

I've decided to take part in the boycott. I've unfollowed all their platforms, i have not watched any content, and I have not streamed their songs. And I'm not sure if many other briize has seen but it showed up on my tiktok that Riize left a very obvious space in their ending pose at their recent performance in Japan. And it was a very obvious gap. So idk, we'll never really know what the other boys are thinking but I feel like that's their only way to communicate to us that they are feeling it too.

Another point I want to get on is a thought that I've had for a while. Idols have zero protection a day there should be some sort of union to protect them. Idk how unions are viewed in Korea but idc they need to have protection. They are at the mercy of these companies and we've all seen how they have treated them from day one. This industry has been getting away with mistreatment for 30+ years and we have lost many idols on the way. I fear if nothing happens, more damage will be done.

I know my statements are not original and many have thought the same im just brain dumping and regurgitating. I have explained this situation with my roommates, my family, MY ACTUAL THERAPIST and it's hard to confide in them cause I have to explain everything else. The fan culture in Korea, the fan culture in Kpop, the kpop industry, multiple other scandals that have little to no link but is still prevalent. This phenomenon of Kpop and this situation is so nuanced and layered that I can't help but feel insane explaining it to people. Like I feel like they look at me and think, why are you so bothered about this. God forbid im just a girl who is a professional fangirl. Anywho, please get some rest.
