He’ll protect you from your opponents, will drop a ref for you, will chew everyone and their mommas out 

But is quick to spear you and give you a noogie

I feel like the way ya’lls team came to be wasn’t because he was soughing after a tag team partner (cause he’s Eddie Kingston and he’ll kick anyone's ass)

But it came to be when you helped even the odds with JAS and you actually didn’t mind fighting the dudes

At that moment, Eddie knew you were his partner

“Why Me?”

“Because you literally just kicked everyone’s ass…besides you’re the only other person in the back I like…besides Mox and Lulu of course.”

That’s right; out of all the enemies and allies he had in the back, he considered you an ally

HOWEVER, I still think he wouldn’t open up to you immediately but would gradually become more comfortable with you

At first, he would only talk to you for match purposes

And then he started hanging out with you a little bit before the show

And then he would text you “you good?” If he hasn’t heard from you (if you respond, he’ll say “great, btw fuck you”

Everything would change when he needed a place to crash cause all the hotel rooms were taken and you allowed him to crash with you

Although he left before you could wake up, he left you a note stating how he’s blessed that he has you as a friend

Now ya’ll at the point where ya’ll are inseparable

Where ever you go, he goes, and vice versa

Ya’ll in each other favorite contacts

Eddie would act like he genuinely doesn’t like you (in the eyes of others) but everyone knows he adores you

You two know each other like the back of your hands

Will tag you on Twitter posts that remind him of you, ya’lls friendship, or just things you need to see

Would say “EW” or “Gross” at you (if you're just walking by) or if you mess up in the ring he’ll laugh and say “you suck”

But heaven forbid someone else said that about you

You made it your goal to annoy the living shit out of him (and to make him scream and shake his fist at the sky)

But you were quick to shake someone if they irritate him

You played little pranks on him, stole his shirts (and threatened to burn them), made him cut promos on random items

Now in the ring, your and Eddie’s styles complement each other

And you often came together to do tag team moves (especially the ones that Eddie learned from watching old Japanese tapes)

But if you were ready to get out the weapons, he was right behind you (either getting more weapons or just watching)

Essentially, you had crazy ideas and he just supported you in any way he could

Would not wear matching ring gear colors, but will match t-shirts with you (if you have tag team merchandise)

If not, ya’ll would wear each other’s designs

You two could pick up on the other’s next move without talking (you could expect/predict what he was gonna do and how you follow up or help)

Not gonna lie…Eddie would tag you in the match on the head/in the face

I can just see him lightly slap your head to signify a tag

If ya’ll won, then ya’ll were celebrating by doing chest bumps and getting food after the show

If ya’ll lost, Eddie would just berate everyone in sight (except for you)

Despite what he says, he would never talk down to you or degrade you (you’re his soft spot)

Would introduce you to Mox and form a trio if the situation called for it

Overall…Being Eddie Kingston’s tag team partner would be a rollercoaster, but one that would become your favorite rollercoaster

OK uhh now I know a little more about askblogs here’s a Proper Promo and Info Post in case anyone’s looking through my blog retroactively I guess

This is an ask blog that does things in a comic format, which means I draw responses for every ask individually! (You can probably tell but the format was actually inspired by a popular Undertale askblog lol) It takes longer than a sprite blog does, but I can put a lot more heart and customization into every response- plus, it’s fantastic art practice (in the technical art improvement sense but also in the actually sitting down and drawing more often sense too)! This blog primarily features all five Jadebloods from the Troll Call (Bronya Ursama, Lynera Skalbi, Daraya Jonjet, Wanshi Adyata, and Lanqye Bombyx). They exist within their own little universe bubble- they can’t really have conversations with characters on other blogs the way everyone else is doing it, everything that happens has to happen in comic. This is a rather unfortunate limitation of the medium, but if anyone wants your askblog character to interact with mine, shoot me a DM! If we rp something good out, I’ll be happy to draw it in! (Yes, OCs too! Y’all’s fantrolls are GODLY thanks) This does have the limitation that everyone who joins in as a certain character has to be regarded as the same instance of that character- we can’t have more than one Chahut running around on Alternia, that’d be weird (And wonderful, also. Chahut is a blessing.)- but I feel like it’s a good way to do collabs, even if I can’t have long RP/convo threads like other blogs do. (Plus, who knows? I might make some spritesets in the future for funsies.)

// Yesterday I posted some pretty negative stuff. I was feeling horrible at the time, my mind was pretty much fucked up, and normally I don't vent but I have had several people, including my therapist, tell me that I needed to vent more and stop bottling it all up inside, so I did.

I didn't expect it to cause so much backlash.

When I made that post, I was thinking about people like me, who are never really part of the group. I didn't stop to think how people who are in the group would respond to it. I didn't realize that people might feel guilty for receiving a positivity post or tag, like it's their fault people are giving them love.

I did realize after the fact that it sounded like I was upset about the positivity blog existing, and I attempted to correct that in a reblog (which is what I linked above). I love positivity, I just couldn't handle seeing all those posts on my dash at the time.

After I posted my first post, the mun of @ygo-positivityproject contacted me over IM to discuss the post. They gave me some advice on dealing with the situation, including explaining how to make a post private (I honestly had no idea that was possible, shows how much I know about this blue void of a website) for future vent posts. We discussed the situation and I left the conversation feeling like I know how to deal with something like this a little better.

Here is the explanation I gave them about the reasons I made my negative post, copied directly from my IMs:

“I've been having the mental health issues I mentioned for a long time, almost my entire life, and I started therapy earlier this year. The problems are really fresh in my mind because I've been talking about them and confronting them once every two weeks for the past few months, and I have to admit your blog first appeared on my dash at the wrong moment, when I was in an extremely bad mental situation, and the first few posts on your blog didn't help much, for the reasons I mentioned in the post.

“I have a few thread partners I talk to a lot over IMs and in the tags on our threads and I often talk in the tags on my threads even if I don't talk with my thread partner over IMs, and I'm really happy to have those partners who are always willing to talk with me in the tags and in IMs.

“The problem is not that I have nobody to talk to, the problem is that those issues I talked about in my post are rooted so deeply in my brain and it's really hard to think of myself as part of the group, especially since I'm in a different timezone (I live in Europe, GMT+1) and a lot of threads and shenanigans that result in back-and-forth dash commentary happen when I'm asleep. It sucks, but I'm trying to learn to ignore that annoying little voice in my brain that tells me I'm not good enough. It's a process that I started less than a year ago to counter a process that has been going on for my entire life, so I'm only just getting started and the first step is the most painful.

“I don't like venting because that little voice in my brain tells me other people can't help me and I shouldn't bother, but that's exactly why I made that post. It had been bothering me pretty much since I saw your blog promo appear on my dash for the first time and I needed to get it out because it was eating at me and making it difficult for me to be online because every time I went through my dash I saw one of your posts and it hurt me every time. Now that it's out of my system, I can hopefully learn to see your posts for what they are.

I know that all of this is no excuse, and I'm sorry for any controversy or backlash I caused with my vent post. I don't expect everyone to accept this explanation. I'm only leaving it here so you will be able to understand why I feel this way.

Again, I'm really sorry for any controversy or backlash I caused. In hindsight, I really should’ve made the vent a private post, and I probably would’ve done that if I knew how. The damage has now been done, I can't undo it, but hopefully this fixes it at least a little.

I've been following quite a few, as well as I've been interested in starting one but I have no idea how to get started (You just seem so open and friendly). Again your more then welcome to ignore this if I've over stepped - Sorry.

Hi there! This is definitely not a bother at all! I’m just gonna put this under a cut since it got a bit long winded...

Oh gosh, there’s so many different little things to think about and I always complain about how annoying it is setting up a new page, but it always winds up being worth it in the end, so the first thing I would say is don’t give up just because the set up is annoying.

One thing I’ve found out is this: choose a URL that tells people who your muse/character is. Maybe it’s a quote, maybe it’s got their name in it, whatever it may be. A lot of people will go searching for specific characters and that’s one way to quickly grab someone’s attention!

Next is setting up the blog itself. Make sure you have rules/guidelines, they don’t have to be crazy long and specific, you can keep it really basic and short if you want to, but I know a lot of people refuse to follow if there’s no rules at all. Also the same goes for an about section/bio of your character, especially if they’re an original character (it’s obviously easier to RP with an original character if you know their backstory). Oh, also make sure to have your age listed somewhere, even if it’s just 18+, 21+, whatever, it’s a big deal to a lot of people that they know if you are legally of age to write certain things with.

Going along with the set up, I’d say you definitely want to make a navigation page and a verse page! Again, these don’t have to be crazy long (like my navigation, whoops!), but they’re really helpful for you and for others. The verses page helps people see what timelines you’re willing to play your character in and if you already have figured out ways to put them into other fandoms. The navigation obviously just makes things easy to find, so make sure to tag your posts! You don’t need fancy tags, just use whatever is easiest for you that way when you or a partner are searching for something on your page, you just have to go through your tags. And, on that note, make sure to tag your partner’s URL in each reply in case things ever get lost!

Uhm, let’s see... a promo is definitely helpful! If you aren’t amazing with graphics (aka: me), @ashcommissions does promos, headers, and background images for free! There’s also tons of people you could commission things from too. I always post my promo into as many different variations of the RP tags as possible for maximum exposure of it. Also, if you do set up a page, totally come poke me and I’ll happily post a promo for you.

There’s probably a million things I’m missing! Ahhhhh!

One of the first things I do on a new page is post a couple pictures, maybe some aesthetics/moodboard things, musings, whatever, and then make sure to post one or two open starters that way people have something to reply to when they come across the page. And it gives them an idea of how you write your character too.

New pages are tough, you’ve just gotta stick with it, find a few people you get along with and can write with and eventually things fall into place.

Favorite Fruit: Are grapes fruit? I’m pretty sure they are, so there ya go.

Favorite Season: I’d say like either Winter or Fall.

Favorite Plant: Don’t have one, but like those trees that have like white flowers on them are really pretty, and cherry trees are really good climbing trees.

Favorite Scent: This is really unhealthy and stuff but the smell of like a garage where someone fixes cars or has old cars in. Kinda like... diluted gasoline smell?

Favorite Color: Blue, but recently purple has really been growing on me.

Favorite Animal: Horses, no doubt, as you could probably tell...

Tea, Coffee, or Hot Cocoa: Hot chocolate is the greatest. considering i’ve never had coffee and im not that fond of tea, yeah.

Average Hours Of Sleep: I either go to bed at 9pm and wake up around 8-10am, or i stay up until 5am and get maybe 2 hours  of sleep. Theres no in-between.

Dogs or Cats: Cats, definitely. Nothing against dogs, the ones in my life are just kinda... wild, and i prefer the calm quiet friendliness of cats over the loud excitable jumpy friendliness of dogs.

Favorite Fictional Characters: Logan from the Sanders Sides, and the 10th doctor from Doctor Who, and like all of the Haikyuu characters...

Previous obsessions: I used to be really crazy about Zodiac stuff, and then a brief stint where i loved wolves? I would draw them all the time, like in class and stuff and i had a wolf-themed calender. As for fandoms, theres the Haikyuu! fandom, as well as the Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock fandoms. ANd more beside those, but yknow.

Dream Trips: I kinda wanna go to London. As someone who lives in the US in the country, the thought of being able to just...walk, places.. is like, yes.

MUN UPDATE please read?

As you guys have seen, my activity hasn’t been the greatest mainly because of school. Now it’s a bit more lax since all marks are being sent to universities tomorrow, but I’m still not going to be around as often during the group’s hiatus.

As of this moment, my remaining muses ( @facebeetred, @foolslittlesister, and @sailingaway) are on hiatus until further notice.

However, this doesn’t mean I won’t be checking in from time to time. While I may have archived all of my threads on the RP Thread Tracker, stupid move on my part, I know now and have to go fishing for them again, I am still more than willing to continue threads during the group’s hiatus. I’ll message everyone I currently have threads with, and ask whether or not you want me to reply during this period. If you don’t mind me taking a break and not replying, I thank you. I also thank you if you’ll want me to continue the thread, because then I’ll see that you enjoy it. No matter what your response is, I’ll be happy with it!

I’m also up for starting new threads, whether they’re still set in Rouves or if it’s an AU. For this I won’t be asking around, and this is the only post I’ll make about it. If you’d like a new thread, please send an ask to my personal ( @cheekblown), not an IM because I won’t see it! Just send the info with which muse and what kind of starter and I’d be more than happy to write it up~
