alright my request, its currently 10am... but i've been up since yesterday with no wink of a sleep, i'm having such... the hardest time forcing myself to sleep, wallowing in fanfics, my imaginations, the constant voice against me of guilt and shame towards my unhealthy body—all because my fucking thumbs can't stop moving and typing, and my people pleasing ass waiting in anticipation for notifs? ugh fuck im so 😭

i request for a realistic sanemi comfort interaction with a reader whose around the same age as him, (hes 21 i believe) started late, joining into the slayer corps but proven to be as hard working and having a knack for combat, honing her skills, body etc, (which was effective most of the time, earning her up to tsuguko rank like kanae) but in this particular night, she just couldnt be 100%, let alone 30% or lower, she was at her worse today (hah like me) — giving up wasn't her thing, but yeah... 🥹 everything feels heavy, breathing techniques seem more harder, nerves shaky from lack of sleep and food intake just—yeah (shit is happening to me too rn) i love sanemi and his hardened shell with a soft budding flower inside, its so comforting (or am i just traumatized cough)

Do you wonder if UA has a Home Ec. Or cooking class? At least as an elective or an option for later grades? I like to think Monoma would enjoy feeding people (particularly Class B) whatever he cooks up in class. i had wavy/semi-curly black hair (it was about like... just an inch or two past my shoulders) round shades (though i sometimes had to swap them out for glasses, my vision wasn’t and still isn’t the best lmao), with the same buck teeth w/ red eyes. had an oversized white tee w/ red sleeves and loose pants. maybe sweatpants? i feel like i might of worn a skirt a few times before though. + scuffed up red sneaks. im not sure what symbol yet. had a couple scars but they aren’t really visible. was a witch of time and prospit dreamer. i’m not entirely sure what my symbol was honestly, but it might of been a cassette tape? or something of that nature.

rose loved video games and the like, along with ghosts and the paranormal. she also liked to play pranks! she lived in a suburb with her mom (roxy crocker). she also had jaspers as a pet.

not really a description, but eridan and i butted heads really often to say the least. i think by the end we managed to get along though.

here’s the descriptions we’ve gotten thus far!

i think that jake had shaggy, curly-ish black hair (think like..almost a mullet but not quite.) + orange eyes along with a black tank top and a pair of black baggy cargo pants. he wore fingerless gloves and had plenty of scars with triangle shades. he was pretty serious most of the time from my knowledge (although truly, he was kind of a dork lmao). regardless, it was kindaaa awkward when i first met him. he sometimes wore square glasses and had his ears pierced. i made a sprite edit of him if anyone is interested.

he loved robots. loved tinkering with them and everything. he also loved watching different types of movies.

jane had curly black hair that went a few inches past the nape of her neck + pink eyes. she wore a white short sleeve with a pink skirt and black gym shoes along with round glasses. she was hardworking and wanted the best for everyone.

roxy had super curly blonde hair + cyan eyes and wore an off the shoulder white long sleeve and a cyan skirt and fishnet tights. i feel like she had these chunky black boots too. she was very nice to everyone and had this positive vibe to her.

roxy told me that she skateboarded and baked a lot.

theory: the 100 were not the first human to be sent down from the arc. i think that there was a group sent down maybe a decade or two and these are the grounders that we see interact with the 100. the grounder looks to around the same age as the parents of the 100 so i think they were send around the time the parents were teens. this wouldn’t be surprising as the council has the tendency of keeping things a secret and from what i’ve seen theres a lot that the ark will do like they will cross every line there is in existence so i don’t think that this is too far of a stretch but then again i literally have no proof to back this up other than the grounder’s shirt looks like it was from target

mrs. wood made a soft, pained sound, as if she was the one who had been cut. after a few seconds, she realized - he hadn’t done it for show. it was as if once the sharp metal entered his body, he relaxed a bit.

as they stood in silence, a single, fat drop of crimson blood sped down awsten’s wrist to his hand. it trailed down the curve of his pointer finger and then dropped onto the tile. mrs. wood glanced at it on the floor, and as soon as she did, awsten dug the blade into his skin a little further.

“stop!” she cried desperately, her eyes hurrying back up to his face. “awsten! stop it!” 

“go away.” 

“no!” 

a look crossed awsten’s face - that same frustrated, overwhelmed, anxious look that he wore one time in the car when he had a sweatshirt on and was overheating and couldn’t get it off. anger with a healthy dose of panic. 

“awsten, please put it down.” 

“mom, i don’t want you to look at me when i do it,” he said weakly. 

but she’d learned her lesson when she'd moved her gaze away the first time. “well, i’m going to look at you. i...” she swallowed. “i’m going to call your dad, okay?” 

awsten was still.

without breaking their eye contact, mrs. wood reached into her pocket for her cell phone. she pulled it out and pressed the home button until it dinged twice. “call geoff wigington,” she instructed softly. the phone began ringing. “baby, put it down. please. you’re not in any trouble. i don’t want you to get hurt.”

he shook his head.

“hello?” geoff asked. 

“geoff, come up here,” mrs. wood commanded urgently. 

“pardon?”

“now!” she told him. “come upstairs, now!”

“are you alright?” geoff asked worriedly. 

but she hung up without responding. “awsten,” mrs. wood said, her eyes trained on the blade, which she had just realized awsten had been ever-so-slowly dragging up - dragging through - his arm. more blood was trickling down, and his chest was visibly fluttering with his short breaths. “honey, breathe.” 

a few seconds later, footsteps came around the corner, and awsten was suddenly still. 

mrs. wood watched from the corner of her eye as geoff looked from awsten’s hand and wrist to the blood on the floor and back to awsten. 

“it’s alright,” geoff murmured to the teenager. “here. you are alright.” he crept forward slowly, his hands stretching out toward the razor blade in awsten’s grasp.

awsten’s hand began to shake.

“i will take that for you,” geoff told him easily.

awsten didn’t even protest, just let geoff lift the bloody metal out of his fingers. 

“there,” the teacher hummed once it was free. “thank you, awsten. you did a wonderful job.”

awsten, whose entire body was trembling by then, started to cry. 

“oh, baby, no,” mrs. wood said sadly.

“fuck you guys!” awsten yelled.

geoff ignored this and went to the sink for a hand towel and some warm water. 

“mom, why the hell did you have to come in?!”

“well, honey, i-”

but awsten made no attempt to take the razor back from geoff. like a child, he just stood in the middle of the small room and cried. 

mrs. wood wanted to move forward to hug him, but she was still frozen to the spot. 

luckily, geoff gently took hold of awsten’s forearm, pushed his sleeve further up, and carefully pressed the wet towel against his skin. 

awsten hissed in response.

“hush, i know...” 

awsten pulled his arm away and instead wrapped it around geoff’s neck, smearing a permanent, red streak across his collar. “i was gonna kill myself,” awsten told him miserably, “but i wasn’t ready yet. she ruined it!”

mrs. wood’s heart sank. “honey...” 

“i hate you!” awsten cried, and he buried his face in geoff’s shoulder. 

“awsten,” geoff began gently, “that is...”

but awsten was sobbing and shaking, and geoff just sighed. 

“i was scared, but i think i was gonna do it! i wanted to do it!”

“hush,” geoff whispered again. 

mrs. wood couldn’t take it anymore - she rushed forward and hugged awsten as best she could from the strange angle. 

“we need to take you to a doctor,” geoff murmured.

“n-no!” awsten sobbed. “just give me ten more minutes!”

“no,” geoff said loudly. “there will be no negotiating your life, awsten. no more. you need help.” 

“i don’t want it!”

“i am in charge,” geoff stated authoritatively, “and i am telling you that you do. now, either we can get into the car, or i can call an ambulance. that much is up to you.”

geoff’s lips sealed into a thin line, and he swallowed and then said, “very well. but the situation does not change.”

weakly, awsten punched geoff in the chest and then stepped back and hung his head, continuing to cry.

“which will it be, awsten?” geoff asked calmly. “the car or an ambulance?”

mrs. wood looked concernedly at geoff, who seemed as though he were about to either begin yelling or burst into tears himself.

ohhh no, there are way too many beautiful dragons here, this is gonna be another super tough one ;~; but here we go!

I absolutely have to start with Topaz, because i mean... just LOOK at her!!! im not typically a fan of snappers, but i’m so in love rn that you’d never believe it. she is a fantastically earthy/chocolaty dragon all on her own, but i am so stunned at your choice of apparel on her!! the blues and golds just look so lovely together, and contrasted against her shades of brown. her water eyes really do just seal the deal, pulling it all in. just overall a fantastic snip snap!!

Peppermint is such a simple, subtle dragon, and i think that’s what makes me adore her so much!  that poison and smoke combo are just enough, you really dont need any more patterning to her wings at all. and besides, her basic wings match beautifully to that darker patterning of the poison. i love your simple, light choice of apparel a whole heck of a lot too. it fits her colors, it fits her name, and definitely seems to speak to her personality too! 

this guy is so incredibly creative and lovely!! i didnt even really need to look at his bio to imagine what he was meant to look like! absolutely lovely choice of colors to work with too, i might add. i love the way the gold pops against his grey body and wings, and his apparel absolutely plays to that as well! you did a fantastic job with him for sure ^^

oh boy. oooh no. here’s where i get into trouble. this guy is absolutely GORGEOUS. he has such a lovely range of greens, and ooh boy is that peacock jaguar to die for. his accent is so small and subtle that i really almost didnt notice it at first, but it really does match him perfectly, bringing in those yellows and golds, especially in the antlers which would otherwise be kinda blank. again you’ve mastered having just the right amount of apparel, enough to add splashes of color, and yet not too much to cover his beautiful color combo. seriously well done! pardon my drool puddle

Beetle. i dunno if you ever check the tags people put in their posts when they reblog from you or not, but if you had.. youd probably have seen how obsessed i am with the breeding pair this guy is part of lol. and for good reason!! just look at him!!! he has such beautiful and unusual colors, and somehow i have managed to adore every one of the hatchlings they’ve had! (it certainly does help that the adopt you give their hatchlings is some of the cutest stuff ive ever seen in my life).. anyway, while i do also love his mate, i think this guy is my favorite of the two. i would have never imagined that apparel working on a dragon with his colors and genes, but it absolutely 100% does!! it gives him just that perfect amount of pop, and it’s lore-appropriate to boot! 

in conclusion: he is a fantastic, sweet fluff boy (despite looking like a bug that irl kinda scares me sometimes) and he wins my Soft Choice Child award for this review for being perfect.
