xavier, he fish, is an angel stranded on earth and navigatibg the struggles of being displaced through the lense of fish and fishing, wwith his friend shard at his side.

shard, she it, is an angel at home on angelis, communication with xxavier on earth via a taboo and banned mirror shard, trying to learn about herself and help xavier while keeping her stolen mirror shard a secret.

Hey, do you have any advice on consoling freaking out alters? Specifically trama/memory holders. We have a goth (fictive) that's currently freaking out and reliving trauma n we dont know really what to do other than comfort him. Our little is also really uncomfy too. Hi! So unfrtntly I wldnt kno what advice we wld giv- Bc Even now we just got Chara out of static mode n I think the bggst “advice” we feel confdnt 2 giv based on our exprncs as a sys is 2 just giv them time,,,

Singlt life is not the same b it’s like if som1 outspace was hurting the same way n also going they major trauma/flashback town- it’s case by case bc what we may do mite not b effective- or 4 others they may actlly need 2 do something n not w8 4 it 2 pass

Bsclly, if u can talk 2 them, I think 1 of the best things u can do in genrl is ask if there’s something they want or need- like if they want 2 b left alone, keep the lights on, or listen 2 calm music

N sometimes if there’s 2 many options I can giv them simple options like asking yes or no questions like “wld u like a hug?” So it’s easier 2 answ back

If u rmmbr, u can mayb talk inwards while ur fronting? If u kno smths triggering them, even f ur not there-there u can like, just always reassure them that it’s ok,,,

Bsclly create safe environmnts, n remind them that while it’s ok 2 feel hurt or scared, (if they wnt 2 feel it in the mmnt) that they’re not there anymr, it’s safe here- n how they feel is real- n whatevr it is, they never deserved 2 have 2 go thru such bad things, let alone b so hurt by it in the end,,

U also mentioned fictives— so my suggestion 4 that is avoiding source if it may trigger memories

It can b from small things like not touching them or having affection like hugs and pats, 2 clothes or music- or even just talking abt it

OH anthr thing- hnstly most of my advice rn is general- b if they want 2 journal- that’s ttlly a thing they can do! They can draw, etc- n keep it or rip it apart in a shredder or wnur hands
