I need more android robin whump!! Is robin ever gonna come across one of her previous owners who mistreated her (maybe billy) and have to face them again ??

I love this au a lot it's so interesting

!!! Hi anon! I have a few thoughts on this... mostly about the time she finds out Nancy's brother is friends with Billy's younger sister, Max.

Now, she and Max had a complicated relationship. Max never had much interaction with her other than to give her orders (which whe did very rarely, mostly just to tell her to leave her alone). Max didn't know Robin was sentient and she didn't see a point in talking to something that was basically a laptop on esteroids. She didn't care about being nice to her, but she could never really bring herself to be too cruel. It felt like punching a teddy bear - it can't feel anything, but why would you do that? It's just mean.

She always hated how Billy treated her. Neil supposedly got her after his psychiatrist recommended it to treat his violent impulses, plus he thought Billy might be gay, and he liked the idea of having a "hot girl robot" to "change his mind". He really didn't care much about Billy's mental health, and he didn't want to waste the money, but he was being pressured by Billy's school's authorities, by the social worker in their case and by his own wife, Max's mother, who was secretly relieved, because she thought Billy would stop taking his anger out on Max if he had a different target, one who couldn't feel anything. Now, Max knew Billy was a horrible human being, and hearing Robin's cries and begging when Billy beat her was unbearable. Soon, you could never see Max without her headphones. When she found Robin curled up inside a closet, her arm bent in a strange way, looking small and terrified and crying... well, Max wasn't stupid. Brutalizing an unfeeling android was one thing, but illegally implanting tear ducts in her because she didn't look hurt enough... Billy was just cruel, sick and sadistic and she hoped he died.

But she was really more concerned with Billy's evil than with how Robin got hurt. In fact, she was relieved, because Billy mostly left her alone now. She wasn't proud of that, but whenever she heard Robin's desperate cries of "please, don't!" and "wait! It hurts!", all she could think about was... that could be her instead. So she never intervened and never tried to stop it, lest Billy turned his attention back to her.

Robin never expected anything else from her. She didn't blame her. She knew what it looked like, and part of her was relieved, too. At least Max didn't get hurt.

In fact, protecting Max like this was the main reason it took her so long to run away, but when she overheard Billy talking to the technician at the illegal repair shop, and learned that he wanted to basically turn her into an adult toy, she couldn't take it anymore. She left that very same night with only the clothes on her back.

So when Christmas comes around and the whole gang gathers to celebrate at Steve's, she sees a familiar face, and they both freeze. For a moment Max thinks this girl just looks very similar to the old android - or maybe she'd happen to be the inspiration for her design? Was she a model? She certainly couldn't be that odd robot that called herself "Robin", because she had her arm linked with Nancy's and she was smiling and telling jokes and she looked so alive - but then again, the old robot looked alive, too.

But then Robin recognizes her, and she debates between greeting Max or running away. Nancy feels her freeze by her side - and before she can ask what's wrong, Robin makes a decision to say hi. She introduces herself to Max - oh god, it really was the android - and she asks if she remembers her. She asks how Max is doing, and she doesn't dare ask about Billy but she desperately wants to know if he's still around.

Max then looks at Nancy, about to ask why the hell did she bring an android as her date, but it's like Nancy read her mind, and her death glare was enough to shut her up. Everyone else is there, including Hopper and Joyce, who are old and wouldn't understand, and even then, the idea of a sentient android is so outlandish that so far, only Steve and tona lesser degree Dustin and Suzie buy it. Convincing everyone else she's not crazy won't be easy and she does not want to ruin Robin's first Christmas. So Max bites her tongue and goes along with it. It actually makes Robin so happy - she thinks Max finally recognizes her as sentient.

She talks to Nancy in private, later, while Robin is playing some kind of videogames with Mike and his friends on the console - she tells her that was her brother's old android. She callously tells her everything in detail - the alterations, the beatings, the screaming... Nancy does her best to keep a calm exterior, but her heart breaks with every word. Max just wants to know what was she thinking bringing her to a Christmas party. And it takes some convincing - pretty much all night, and Max does not want to believe it, because that just means she let a helpless girl endure terrible abuse alone when they could have protected each other. But Nancy is so confident and so insistent and so sure of Robin's self-awareness, that Max can't help but accept it. She cries in Nancy's arms, apologizing over and over again. She didn't know. She didn't want to leave her alone. She didn't want to feel relieved when Billy went after Robin and not her. Nancy just holds her, and tells her she was just a child. She can talk to Robin some time. She's sure she'll appreciate it.

Max and Robin eventually become good friends, actually. Almost sisters. Robin learns that Max hasn't heard of Billy in a long time, and that's very reassuring - he's far from them, now. And Max has Lucas and Robin has Nancy and they have each other now, and they're building a new life away from the horrors.

So when she hears a rough knock on the apartament's door at 3 AM, and hears his voice... she thinks she's hallucinating. It happens sometimes, when her circuits are not working well, but it's rare and she's never so awake when it happens. She runs to Nancy's room and shakes her away. Her whole body is trembling as she says "I think there's someone outside."

Might be getting ahead of myself with the Nancy lore, but she still has a gun from her teenage years, when she and Jonathan had to protect themselves. She hasn't forgotten how to use it.

She doesn't recognize the man when she goes out into the hallway, she only knows he smells like beer and piss, but she can guess who he is from the way he calls for a "robot wh*re", and if she's right, then she hates that she has to meet him in the hallway, where everyone would hear if she put a bullet between his eyes (she's killed people before. It wouldn't be hard).

She's not sure how much he understands - he's leering at her when she comes out - but then she presses the barrel of her gun up against his throat, and tells him to never, ever come near Robin or Max again, or it would be the last thing he does.

He calls her a bitch, but he leaves. Nancy has the feeling it won't be the last time they'll have to deal with him.

Robin is nowhere to be seen when Nancy goes back in - her heart is in her throat, pulse picking up - "Robin? Robin, are you okay?" she calls with a trembling voice. She looks for her everywhere - bedrooms, bathroom, under the bed... she finds her curled up inside a closet, knees against her chest, face hidden in her arms, tears trailing down her cheeks. Nancy realizes she's still holding her gun and places it on the nightstand so she can gather this girl into her arms. She brings her to her bed, tucks her in and holds her tight. She could swear her body doesn't stop trembling until sunrise. All Nancy can do is to hug her tight, stroke her hair, rock her back and forth. Tell her she won't let him touch her again. Promising she'll protect her. She's safe now. Nancy promises.

Indeed, that's not the last time they see Billy, but that's something for another dayyyy

Oh and Robin meets Brenner again at one point, but she doesn't remember him 🤭🤭🤫

I’ve been getting a few anon messages about the Human Au with Lucifer as Kingpin and Alastor as a Hitman. Just wanna answer them here;

1. The Radioapple “Nanny AU” is NOT the same alternate universe as the Radioapple “Kingpin vs. Hitman AU”

I have different ideas for both of these hehe. The way I treat working on the Alternate Universes is like the movie “Everything Everywhere All At Once” where there’s just a multiverse of universes where things can be wildly different (everyone’s a rock) or only slightly different (someone’s wearing a turtleneck instead of a collared shirt)

I just have fun with it lol. But I’ll try to tag things so it’s clear what universe I’m drawing in.

2. When I am writing the AUs, IM TOTALLY JUST RELYING ON CANON INFO HAHAHA. Of course I’ll take things into fanon or crackship or brotp or whatever suits my fancy, but plot wise, I don’t know how much I’ll delve into things like; Alastor’s deal, Lilith, The Vees’ plans, etc. because I just don’t know what those are hahaha. I have my theories but they’re just theories lol.

"Yoongi, smile for the camera," you said, grinning as you adjusted the lens of your camera to capture your boyfriend's relaxed face. It had been almost four months since the last time you saw him, and at this point, it was mandatory to capture his beautiful face on camera—how else could you remember his gummy smile if you didn’t? Watching him smile on TV shows wasn’t the same; those smiles weren’t for you. This one was.

"I'm eating," he mumbled with his mouth full, wiping his hands on the beach towel spread out on the sand. Yoongi wasn’t a big fan of the beach: the sun, the sand, the water that was always too cold—he really disliked all of it. But you loved it, and when he saw you watching videos of couples enjoying sunsets on random beaches, he thought, why not? After all, your anniversary was near, and nothing made him happier than seeing you happy.

"Yah! You can stop eating for one second to smile at your incredibly beautiful girlfriend," you said, lowering the camera for a moment and frowning as you heard him laugh at your comment. "Why are you laughing? Did I say something untrue? You should be thankful that I agreed to take a week off to come to Italy with you! Anyone else would’ve said no."

Well, to be honest, you were probably exaggerating. Anyone would’ve agreed to a vacation in Italy with none other than Min Yoongi, and you were your own boss, so taking time off hadn’t been as big of a deal as you made it sound. But you both knew you weren’t serious. That’s just how you and Yoongi were: you were dramatic, loud, and incredibly outgoing, while he was calm, grounded, and a deeply introverted person. You were perfect complements to each other, and that was why you had lasted almost five years together—yes, even you couldn’t believe it. Five years. It was your longest, most stable relationship to date.

"You’re right. I’m so lucky that my beautiful, super-busy girlfriend decided to come to Italy to celebrate our anniversary after months apart. Did I win the lottery?" he said, laughing as he wrapped an arm around your bare waist, pulling you close enough to kiss your forehead. At least he managed to soothe the slight offense you’d felt a few seconds ago when he laughed at your dramatics.

"Absolutely. And if you didn’t realize that before, you must be blind," you said, standing up from the towel you were both using as a seat and settling onto his lap with a wide smile. You’d missed him so much that you had seriously considered joining him on his tour, even for a few days, just to spend some hours by his side and kiss him after months apart. You were human too; you had needs.

"Comfy?" he murmured as you adjusted yourself on his lap, pressing his lips to the soft skin of your shoulder. He had missed feeling you this close, smelling that distinct citrusy scent of yours, seeing your eyes light up when you looked at him, and how you made him feel like the center of your world. Now that he had you in front of him, sitting on his lap in a swimsuit of a color he couldn’t imagine looking good on anyone but you, with that radiant smile of yours, your messy hair, and your arms draped over his shoulders, he couldn’t help but wonder how he had gone so long without you. He knew he had missed you, but he hadn’t realized just how much until this very moment.

"Yes! Your legs are very comfy to sit on," you giggled, leaning in close, almost brushing your lips against his. He knew you well enough to recognize that playful smile of yours—it meant nothing good.

"Yoongi… do you think anyone comes to the beach at this hour?" you whispered near his lips, your fingers threading through the hair at the nape of his neck.

"Sweetheart, this is a public place," he responded quickly, raising an eyebrow and giving you a smug smile that made you want to both kiss him and punch him at the same time. He probably already knew where you were going with this.

"Three months of abstinence, Yoongi! Have you forgotten that I’m also a person with basic biological and reproductive needs?" you whined, throwing your head back dramatically with a frustrated groan. You knew he’d say no, but asking didn’t cost anything, right?

"I’d remind you that I’ve been abstinent for those same three months," he chuckled, his laugh deep and raspy enough to make your heart race. "And it’s not like you’re helping much, sitting on my lap in that swimsuit, you know."

"You started it. How can you expect me not to sit on your lap when you’re putting your hand on my waist? It’s inevitable!" you laughed softly, resting your forehead against his as you gazed into his eyes. The two of you smiled at each other, basking in a comfortable silence you’d missed far too much to interrupt.

His hand moved up to cup your cheek, gently brushing your skin as a strand of your hair fell across your face in the late-afternoon breeze. Yoongi wished he could grab your camera and freeze this moment: the sun setting behind you, casting your silhouette in a golden glow. You looked unreal, almost angelic—though he’d never admit that out loud.

"We should find a solution to this problem, Yoonie. It’s a serious issue," you said with a laugh, brushing your nose against his. At this point, it was nearly impossible for either of you to wipe the lovestruck smiles off your faces.

"Hmm, and what would that solution be, Miss Y/N?" he murmured in a deep voice, pulling you closer until your abdomen pressed against his. Your legs were now firmly wrapped around his hips, and your lips ached to kiss him again.

"We could go back to the cabin," you suggested in a teasing tone, kissing the corner of his mouth.

"Well… the cabin is a bit far. Do you think you can handle the walk?" In reality, the cabin was right in front of you, with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. You could easily get there in less than a minute.

"If it means I get to feel you on top of me again, I’ll manage," you said, pausing for a moment before the two of you burst into laughter.

"What was that?" he asked, laughing as he secured his grip on your legs—which were still clinging to his hips—to stand up from the sand, making sure you didn’t fall as he carried you toward the cabin.

"Sorry, it sounded much better in my head," you giggled, taking advantage of the closeness to pepper kisses across his face. "I promise I’ll practice my cheesy lines," you murmured against his lips, leaving soft kisses on them, smiling even more as he tilted his head closer to you, unwilling to let your lips stray far from his.

"I hope so," he whispered against your lips, pausing his steps to focus on kissing you, savoring the fruity taste left from the mini feast you’d shared for your little picnic. The way your lips moved softly against his, the tenderness in the kiss despite the desperation of having been apart for so long—it all still felt like the first time: awkward, a little rushed, but sweet.

Everything with you always felt like the first time, and that was what he loved most.

There will be a continuation of the story! It’s already drawn, but I don’t know when we’ll post it. But now that I think about it, I don’t think I touched upon how others would be affected by it… Ultimately, it’s not that important to this particular AU? But I feel like poor Epel would probably get in some trouble, but after some questioning, tests and investigation he would be considered innocent. 

For now we’re not planning on drawing anything with the other boys, but like I already said, we love bad endings and we love What Ifs, so anything is possible! What made me want to play around with this particular scenario is the idea of Vil’s life changing drastically after he does that irreversible deed. This, plus I really love seeing him depressed and broken lol

Please don’t expect a lot from the story, and thank you so much for enjoying it so far!! <3

Thank you so much, Anon! <3 Rook is absolutely Vil’s ride or die, he wouldn’t leave him alone in such a difficult situation. Of course that doesn’t mean he isn’t heartbroken because of what happened to Neige… but Rook’s mind is an interesting place, isn’t it? Hehe. I am happy you’re enjoying the comic.

As for vice versa, I can absolutely see Vil potentionally covering Rook’s misdeeds too! There was a short comic on pixiv about Vil seeing Rook covered in blood and not asking any questions, immediately telling Rook not to move so he won’t stain the carpet… I really like this vibe for them as well; maybe we’ll play around with this theme too at some point.

Omg yes!!! Stan was kinda grateful ford didn't let the kids call him Pa because he could now give a better use to that title more than filbrick or ford could. It also made things easier for him and the kids to switch from calling him Ma to Pa lol

After his disappearance, everyone's life improved considerably lol. the only idiot who still mourned his absence from time to time was Stan but still his memories of Ford were bittersweet (way more bitter than sweet..) For his own sake he preferred not to think about his adult life with Ford, he preferred to keep the good memories of his childhood and those of his adolescence before that day. When Ford was still sweet to him and they were genuinely a silly couple in love...That Ford had died and he doesn't know if the current one had done so or not, whatever the case was, Stan would no longer be a coward in front of him and when he was back, the one who had to adapt to the rules was him and not Stan. He would be MUCH MORE protective to Dipper and Mabel, Ford doesn't seem to be that aggressive and after that punch he gave him stan hoped he was clear that he would do it again if he dared to say something to him or the kids (specially to Dipper, stan was so annoyed the kid was so interested in Ford because he didn't know what ford could do to him..)

About Shermie and Mariana, they got the news thanks to letters Mabel sent them, they couldn't believe what the letter said that they decided to plan a "family meeting" just to see with their own eyes if her granddaughter/niece wasn't lying and that the man they thought for 30 years was dead, wasn't.

The welcome from his kids to ford wasn't also good lol, at least stan was happy to see their children again after some time and so they were to see their Pa but couldn't say the same to their Father.

Im sure Ford didn't recognise shermie at first, he thought he was Mariana's husband or something Before realizing that he was actually his daughter- well, son.

He's not acting as rude towards them and didn't dare to say something to shermie or stan about that but anyway they were uncomfortable, they ended up knowing what happened between stan and ford and honestly, it would be better if he was dead. He wasn't a father no more to them, their real father was named Stanley and he was for them, Why did stan make him come back? Life was better without him, ford wasn't known to them no more..he even was?

apocalypse larp group goes hard. i randomly stumbled upon this camp thing somewhere in the US while randomly doing research for my fic and it was pretty much the same thing. pay for a weekend, live in tents in the forest, everyone pretends its the apocalypse.

It's strange, because in my non-fic writing I do a LOT of perspective shifts, but it's not something that I use very often in fanfiction. Factually, I know what Aemond is thinking in those moments, but that's different from having a scene in my mind that feels like it needs to be written. I'm always happy to answer readers' questions about characters, plot points, literary devices, etc. but as far as returning to my fics once they're completed to write epilogues or different POVs, that's just not something I feel inspired to do very often.

Honestly, by the time I'm finishing up a story, I'm usually already planning the next one and mentally living in that new world, so it's pretty impossible to get myself back in the headspace of Napoleonville at this point! 😂

MY GOOGLE DOCS IS COOKING.
