10. Something that made you cry this year? And I'd like to add on if you wish, what you would choose to comfort that version of yourself with? A specific song, bath, hugs, hot drinks, words? (I might have asked someone else this but I think it's a good one to repeat, I want to add some comfort to any sadness a memory brings up)

okay this is very specific but, this summer i got to see one of my favourite bands perform live TWICE, once in the stands, once in the pit, and i recorded the entirety of the first show (where i was seated) so that i cld watch it back afterwards, and watched it on the busride to the 2nd show, and honestly?? i think i cried more while watching it back than i did at the show itself, which i wasnt expecting. it was just. SO FUCKING PHENOMENAL and i cldnt believe id gotten to experience it once, let alone that i was about to experience it a SECOND TIME that night. that weekend was still one of the best experiences of my entire life, it was incredible. live music is incredible. i fucking love live music!!!

hey hey hey! i wanted to show y'all some of the details of the acrylic standee that's one of the tier rewards for the Glitches & Glitterglue DCA fanzine! i got permission from our lovely mods to share this!

the standee is double sided with correctly flipped face plates on both sides. sun takes the forefront on one side, and moon is up front on the other! the wire wrapping around them also matches with whichever attendant is in front, so that it makes sense flipping from one side to the other. and if you look really closely at the base, it almost looks like someone wrote something on it with some markers…. :3c

i'm really really proud of how this turned out, and i'm so pumped and AMAZED at this fandom for hitting not only the main goal, but all of the stretch goals so quickly!!! YALL ARE INCREDIBLE

it has been an AMAZING experience getting to work with so many fantastic artists and creators - and our wonderful mods! they put everything together and really made this dream come to life!!!

Fanart for this ACHINGLY GUT WRENCHING FIC! 'my body is young (but my mind is very old)' by green_tea_and_honey!!

Chapter 20 made me ugly sob y'all, I m not kidding (My eyes were puffy for the whole day LMAO) I can't express in words how this fic touched my soul so I decided to make fanart. This illustration is based on this part of the fic 👇 (under the cut) It's not biblically accurate but I like it. (Spoilers ahead!)

“Okay,” he whispered to himself, clenching and unclenching his fists. “Okay. You’re okay. You’re okay.”

The wave of panic he expected never came, even as water sloshed in, soaking his waist and rising more rapidly than ever now that Bill had been swept away. He could smell it, as if he had never left; salt, sand, and a hint of oil from a nearby factory that he suspected had stained the beach with its constant dumping in the ocean.

“I’m okay,” Ford said, looking at his hands, and taking a long, slow breath. “I’m okay.”

You guys should go read the fic and give it lots of love. I guarantee you all it's worth it!

#another thing I love about the fic is Bill and Ford's relationship #I love Billford and I enjoy fluffy fanart/fics of them but I won't deny that canonically #the ship is toxic asf and the chances of them actually getting together and be happy are slim #(that's why I prefer redemption fics)#but this fic-- This fic made me happy. I love that Ford finally moved on from Bill. He got his (somewhat) happy ending #Bill here has a mountain of issues so it'll take 9999999 years for him to get his happy ending LMAO.
