so happy you enjoy our long chats because i really like talking and talking with you, and it’s just a perfect blend for disaster.

i don’t play games, because if i download anything other than the sims on my computer, poor old sport is going to burst on my face. but!! i did watched my favorite streamer playing it, and other games, including the others from RE. i’m not one for actually playing, i’m more of a watcher. that said, i’m contemplating downloading on my tablet love and deep space because.. well, no need to explain, sylus is just there, just look at him.

talking about ideas, last night i had an idea for sukuna rider, and i kinda want to show myself earlier just so i can post it and gush about it with you. like imagine something along the lines of being his prize for winning a race… imma just let that there, and the car’s backseat, of course.

i always prefer books over movies, but it’s been a long time, i read most of the books (i think only the two first) in middle school, but the movies i keep rewatching every year. my favorite is the second because, well, finnick. self explanatory.

LEGALLY BLONDE!!! you have such a good taste. can you believe i’ve never watched it until three years ago? it was an instant regret to have never seen it before, fucks sake. my poor girly and academic self was devastated, but that was on me, i’m very cautious with seeing new movies, i like to keep rewatching the same.

and your music taste!!! perfection as well. i was much more into indie before, and my favorite famous singer was only one, mrs lana del rey, that was in middle school and only me and another girl in school knew her, it was like discovering water in a desert. now i’m growing found of sabrina. the thing is i relate so much to the being fucking horny all the time, having a thing for older guys and accepting i’m a flawed human being. well, i think it fixes it.

i’m not really a fan of anything else. i mean, i like grrm as my favorite author, and i used to spend my free time on twitter swearing at him all the time (affectionately. sometimes).

#my aesthetic #i do like the look of that movie anyway #don't think i ever gushed about that #now I'm not too familiar with the later Saw movies aka the ones by Marcus and Patrick so that might just be their thing in general #but i honestly really like how nasty the blood looks in this movie #yk characters caked in blood are hot etc etc but in this movie everything that's covered in blood looks absolutely disgusting #and i LOVE it #when it's dripping out of Arkin's mouth after Asa knocked out one of his teeth #and that nasty green/yellow-ish lighting in the basement. NICE #im rewatching the movie rn can u tell #but I kept like thinking about the difference between Juan and Randall again and i just think in a way Juan seems more.. inhuman almost?#yes Asa has some medical condition regarding his eyes which causes them to reflect like that but come on #they only gave him that to make him look creepier like we all know this #and in the first movie it's kinda portrayed better? you see it more often #sometimes it's just his silhouette. his eyes being only thing visible #adding that to Juan's movements which are often v different from Randall's. gives him some eerie aura yk #even tho he sometimes looks like an awkward old man when he walks up the stairs but that's okay #Randall's portrayal made him seem more human #as human as Asa can be that is #maybe especially because of the ending scene in his house but also just in general. like he still moves like a cold collected murderer #but u don't really look at it and think: huh that's not how humans usually don't move #in conclusion - Juan: eerie cause of bad lighting. his eyes. movements that just seem off #Randall: eerie cause of coldness. sometimes even apathy while being in complete control #plus his rather realistic behaviour yk kinda makes u think. huh someone like that might just exist.#especially with the additional info that he apparently lives a double life #anyway my tags don't have anything to do with the original post anymore lmao #so yeah this movie looks pretty cause it looks disgusting thank u #rambling #the collector #asa Emory

steves strained laugh echoed throughout the tile covered room, making you smile to yourself where you sat on the floor in the stall adjacent to him.

“oh my god, im going to pretend you totally didn’t just ask me if my hair is real.” he snorted.

you shrugged, even if he couldn’t see you, “well how am i supposed to know, its been looking real wig like recently.” and suddenly again, his laughter filled the room like music, brightening the darkest corners and making the best out of a bad situation.

you leaned your head to the side to feel the coolness of the tile, hoping it would ease the pain you were currently in when steve spoke up again. “since youre interrogating me… its my turn.”

you giggled slightly, “okay harrington, ask away.”

“have you ever been in love?”

your heart stopped completely, the question catching you off guard and your skin suddenly far more clammy than before as you slowly turned your head to face the stall he was in, “love? you’re really asking me about that at a time like this?”

steve sighed and closed his eyes, “okay fine jesus, i thought that was gonna be like a heartfelt thing you know? i mean- fine whatever i’ll ask somet-”

“i have- uh i have been in love…” you spoke softly, cutting him off before he could continue rambling. “only once though.”

steve whistled lowly, “who’s the lucky guy eh? please don’t tell me that it’s the guy with the shitty mullet in radio shack!”

you broke out into a laugh that made steve’s heart race, his own face morphing into a grin.

“it’s not that shitty…”

“are you really lying to yourself right now?”

you laughed again, harder this time, “okay fine, it’s super shitty, it’s so uneven, honestly it’s kinda gross…”

“okay okay okay,” he sighed, leaning against the toilet, “enough about shitty mullet guy, who is it really?”

you pursed your lips and inhaled through your nose, praying this conversation would end sooner so you didn’t have to say anything at all. you tried to be as quiet as you could, hoping he would just drop it until you saw steve’s messy hair and bruised face poke out from underneath the stall.

you gave him a look of disgust, “what the hell are you doing?”

he grunted as he crawled underneath, trying to cram himself in the stall with you, “you stopped talking.. thought you died or some shit.. i dunno.” he pushed his hair out of his face and looked at you expectantly.

you rolled your eyes and focused on your worn out shoes before you spoke again, much quieter than all the times before, “you cannot laugh at me steve.”

he shook his head, his mass of messy hair swaying, “i swear.”

you gulped before continuing, “he has the kind of charm to make everyone in a room stare his way, girls of all sorts, you know popular girls… book worms… even me. honesty i didn’t think it would go past a silly school crush but then…,” you furrowed your brows and played nervously with the hem of your shorts, “it did… summer began and i started following his every move, watching these idiotic movies, listening to his sort of crappy music, watching him do his obnoxious hair for some girl he wouldn’t like in a week and doing these completely insane things like decoding russian messages just to be around him, because that’s who we are, we’re best friends.” when you looked up, steve was staring at you, not a single identifiable emotion on his face.

“he’s the kind of guy to love a girl completely and wholeheartedly. what’s worse is that he’s passionate about what he does, who he wants to be seen as. and he is a total klutz who works at an ice cream shop and is friends with this strange group of middle schoolers and far more stupid than any simple guy, because to me, he isn’t just a guy. he’s…he’s you …steve…it was you since day one, and it’ll be you until the day i die.” you whispered, breaking the eye contact and looking down at your lap.

the entire bathroom fell silent again, the very faint plop of water falling making you wish you could disappear into the wall, be completely absorbed until you were gone and steve was alone, because you couldn’t stand his silence and partly because you thought he could hear the loud thumping of your heart trying to beat out of your chest.

“say it.” he spoke quietly, his voice uneven.

you sighed, annoyance bubbling underneath your skin as you looked up at him.

“say you love me.” he shifted closer to you, your knee now touching his own, and neither of you moving away.

you rolled your eyes, anger seeping through your words, “why are you making me say this, it’s emb-”

“please.” he whispered, his eyes pleading, and suddenly it felt as though you could know every emotion he was feeling just by the way he was staring at you.

you inhaled shakily and spoke softly, “i love you.” and as soon as the words left your mouth, you could see steve visibly relax, the tension leaving his shoulders and all his worries seemingly floating away.

before you could say anything else he was leaning forward, his own hand lacing itself with yours and his lips finding your own. the kiss was soft, gentle, nothing forceful or crude, just a simple innocent kiss. it began to feel like more than a kiss to you, it was a confession, a signal, a sign that he felt the same way. and it made you light up inside like a christmas tree, every nerve going off, butterflies being let loose, and pure unfiltered happiness seeping into your veins, all because of steve.

he was the first to pull away, a light blush across his features, a smile etched onto his features as he rested his forehead against your own.

“i love you too.”

g-guhh... i watched this movie the other weekend and i wanted to rewatch it again before posting anything but like.. homie i honestly dont think my heart can take that lol

so from the aspect of like,, the amount of buildup and quality of the development of relationships and characters and just overall emotional-ness of the movie compared to the anime, clearly the anime is superior... HOWEVER.... this one decided to completely bypass the part of my heart dedicated for anime feelings and just jab right into the part that made me feel genuine heartbreak. so like,, i might be projecting my own feelings n experiences onto this a bit too much but i just gotta talk about it hehe

obviously ugetsu and akihiko had some super mixed up feelings towards each other that made their relationship super toxic and i just wanna talk about the complexity of those feelings and why i think they felt how they did.

so i think that one of the biggest reasons they stayed together in their on and off sort of thing was because they were each others first loves. i believe akihiko mentioned that he moved in with ugetsu before he got the chance to live alone or smthn like that,, and they basically started their adult lives knowing nothing but each other. they were still developing as ppl and finding their own way as adults,, but before they were allowed to fully mature, they fell in love and fell into this almost codependent relationship where it was hard to imagine themselves without each other bc at this point,, all they knew was each other.

another reason they fell in love was because of their shared passion for music and for the violin specifically !! but i also think that this is one of the major things that caused their downfall. i think that they ended up putting too much of their relationship onto that shared passion so it was no longer like,, something individual to each of them,, it was no longer about their individual passion for their craft but something that was holding together their relationship. and sure, having something so strong connecting two people can be wonderful, but it can also be harmful if it takes something so personal and unique to each person and is suddenly forcing it to be glue holding them to each other that leaves little room for their own expression if that makes sense.

i think this shared love of music was also causing akihiko to feel like he was living in ugetsus shadow. and honestly, when u have a partner who is just so perfect at everything they do and u cant seem to catch up to them, it becomes rlly exhausting. akihiko didnt want his partner to see him as lesser or to pity him or act condescendingly seeing him struggle to catch up to his own talents so i think that could be part of what drove akihiko away from the violin. aside from this,, i think that since akihiko fell in love with ugestu due to his epic violin skills, he started associating the violin super strongly to ugetsu and no longer felt like it was an extension of himself,, but just something to relate to his partner who he also felt was far superior to him in this subject. as long as ugetsu was in his life, the violin would only ever remind akihiko of his partner and it could never be regained as something personal and expressive of himself.

uhhh i think thats all i wanna talk about for rn regarding why their relationship got so messed up but like,,, i would also like to be emo about ugetsu for a second lmao

i just... when he was talking to mafuyu about how he was just sitting there waiting for akihiko to come home... how it seemed like he was talking less about their apartment and more like himself... UGH IM GONNA CRY BRO THAT FEELING WHEN U THINK SOMEONE IS UR HOME AND U THINK UR THEIRS BUT UR BOTH JUST MESSED UP AND TRAPPED IN A BROKEN HOME.... and also how he was clearly not having any of his needs satisfied by akihiko and would yknow have sex w other ppl and stuff but still go back to akihiko and it was clear that nothing rlly meant anything to ugetsu without him... god my feelings pls... HHH AND THE SCENE WHERE AKIHIKO WALKED AWAY FOR GOOD.... FUCK DUDE IM GONNA CRY THINKING ABOUT IT... it just hurt so bad to see that akihiko had matured and was so easily letting go of ugetsu for the final time and yeah that was fuckin awesome for him and im rlly happy he had the strength and development to do that... BUT... u can tell that ugetsu didnt have that maturity... and u could just see the panic and heartbreak and just overwhelming emotions that he was seeing like dude i could fucking hear every voice in ugetsus head just screaming at akihiko to come back to him and hold him one more time ... but he couldnt say anything. he looked so lost. he hadnt known anything aside from akihiko ,, and his passion for music was still strongly connected to their love so i imagine that at this point he genuinely felt that he had nothing. not even himself. the entire person that he built himself up to be was always leaning on akihiko since theyd grown so much together and akihiko had always been something constant in his life to where things didnt mean much without him. and suddenly he was just,, gone. and he took every part of ugetsu with him. at this point im probably projecting more than analyzing, but this was just my take on their feelings and that specific scene. it was very very good that the two cut contact and are working to better themselves, and i know that they both knew that, but their whole situation was just. so fucking heartbreaking. and something extremely hard to do in that sort of codependent toxic relationship...

(aka charity shops in the uk), i try to! i dont go out of my way to go to a charity shop but if its there i will go in and look, oh recently idk if this is a thrift shop but theres this pop up vintage shop thats new to my town and it has some really cool vintage clothes and i got these brown leather gloves very similar to lady dimitrescus!!! theyre so cool! the problem with charity shops by me is its usually full of like middle class suburban mum clothes but i definitely look!

Steve knew that that horrendous summer would be your last little bit of time together and he had tried to enjoy every moment he spent with you, regardless of the mall being completely wrecked by an otherworldly creature. You were his best girl and the only reason he was able to successfully say that he got over Nancy Wheeler.

You and Steve started dating at the end of your senior year in high school. You had made it very clear from the get go that you had been accepted to a college that was about two hours away from Hawkins and you were planning on going, with or without Steve. He didn’t have the numbers to get into the college at the time and it had taken him too long to be accepted at all. He promised to reapply your sophomore year but it was still a whole school year away from each other not counting the visits.

He took the day off working at the movie store so that he could drive you up to your dorm. He was hell bent on making the day a fun one instead of the sad one he thought it would inevitable turn out to be. He grabbed a mixtape that he had made for you when you first started dating and popped it into his car.

“You know,” he said over ‘Every Breath You Take’, “you really could just make this commute every day if you wake up early enough.” You scoffed. Your parents were in the car behind you but you were trying to put it out of your mind just in case you wanted to get off an exit and pull a quickie with Steve before you couldn’t.

“I could if I got up at like 3am and I am not trying to make that commute.”

“I would get up with you. Make some coffee and say goodbye before the sun comes up, you know!” You gave him a look and he nodded, shrugging. “I guess you’re right. But still, you know how much I’m going to miss you.” You nodded.

“Should have put your papers in sooner bucko,” you said, nudging him. He leaned over and put his hand on your thigh.

“I have never gotten a paper in on time.”

“I can concur.” He looked over at you and you put a hand through his hair. It was filled with products but you didn't mind that much as long as he let you touch it.

“You sure you won’t forget about this pretty face of mine while you’re out?” he asked. He was deciding to be playfully vulnerable, a cop out to being actually vulnerable but you appreciated it nonetheless.

“I could never. Plus, Jonathan gave me a shit ton of polaroids from when we got together at the pool with him and Nancy. I shall hang them all over my dorm room wall so any boy who enters will know that I am taken.” He nodded, squeezing your thigh.

You arrived not long after and you convinced your parents to get some food so that you and Steve could sit alone. He was helping you bring boxes up and you were throwing things at each other and he was complaining about how many of his shirts you had packed.

It was like nothing had or was going to change.

That was the way you both liked it.

You stood on your bed and he sat by your feet, going through the pictures Jonathan had taken. He was also holding the tape as you started to decorate your walls. You had the basic bones down of the room, the bed and clothes done and you wanted to have some things for Steve to help you with.

“I made this,” he said, grabbing a thing out of his pocket. You looked down at him and took the piece of paper. You smiled as you unfolded it, laughing.

“Steve…”

“Put it up there!”

It was a clear crayon drawing that looked like it was done in three seconds but it was still cute. Two stick figures were on the paper as well as yours and Steve's names. On the top it said, plain and clear, ‘she’s taken’ which you thought was cheesy but you could never tell him that. He handed you a bit of tape and you put it between two pictures of you and Steve in the pool and sitting beside it, your feet in the water.

“Thank you Steve,” you muttered and he nodded proudly.

“Anytime you need my artistic skills you just call,” he said, pointing at you.

“I might just have to drive down and pick something up from you if I need it.” He nodded.

“That’s perfectly alright with me.” You smiled.

“Good, then I will. Whenever I can.”

“Good.”

1) ok first of all i love buzzfeed unsolved!! in honor of them ending the series ive been rewatching all of it too lol (i just got to the iconic goatman episode) but i’d recommend downton abbey (i’m only on season four but i’ve rlly been enjoying it) and i’m currently making my way through disney’s tv adaptation of this book series i rlly loved in like,, late middle school-ish? it’s called the mysterious benedict society and the way they’re making the tv show feels so much like the book i rlly love it

2)uhhh so i don’t have any band stories (obvs lol) but i did dye my hair for the first time (well the first time i permanently dyed it) at midnight in the girls locker room? so i go to a rlly small jewish day school, and on the first night of hanukkah they do this thing where all the girls in the high school get to sleep over and light the candles for the first night and then watch movies and wtv and sleep in the not heated gym (and then wake up to pray and go to classes because hanukkah started the day before winter break that year and so we had to actually go to classes the next day🙄) but i had brought hair dye with me so two friends and i (shoutout to @eb4 for being one of those friends and seeing the chaos firsthand shakhskahs) left during the movie (it was parent trap so i almost stayed lol) and went down to the girls locker room and busted out the hair dye! we had to dye it in the sink cuz the school showers r 🤢 and don’t have curtains and i was already in my pajamas. so then an hour later we washed off the dye in the sink and voila! it was box black hair dye and my natural hair is rlly dark brown so it wasn’t like i was dying my hair some crazy color like the blue i have now) i for sure have other stories if u wanna hear them and i’d love to hear some band stories!☺️

3)omg it’s not creepy dw 😂 and i live in massachusetts! also i didn’t know that u live in jersey!! (ok so these two kids who joined my grade this past year r from jersey and they’re so chaotic and i get very similar vibes from u and now i’m wondering if it’s just a jersey thing sksnsjs)

Winter! Even if I’ve never experienced snow or winter before, the whole idea of snow is just really fun and endearing to me. One of my bucketlists is to see snow in real life. I think it has to do with the fact that I’ve always been this person to prefer the cold over heat.

I’ve always been here! Just not in kpop tumblr. I’ve since deleted my old accounts and shame but i came back to write. It’s always been so stress-relieving to me, to write without any expectations on my back because I’m thinking about grades or a competition. Also Soobin simping is a daily thing and I gotta release it somewhere man

are you happy with where you are in life right now? why or why not?

Yes. I may not be the richest or the prettiest, or smartest or whatever, but I have a good family that loves me. I have good friends that support me and I have TXT and BTS to help me cope when things get overwhelming. I have a job that gives me a little bit of income (it’s not too common for college students here to get jobs like in the US, most of them just focus on acads) and all the means to continue my education amidst the pandemic. So really, I’m grateful for where I am now.

to see the boys in real life but for it to happen only once in your lifetime, or to meet the boys via online fan meeting as many times as you can in your lifetime? why?

Why do you have to do me dirty cj,,,,, prolly online. I may not get to hug them or anything but I get to talk to them still. As may times as I want to.
