this is so dumb but man. consistent qsmp streams were such a staple. i really leant on them to be consistent because everything else was so NON consistent. like i could cover more shifts unexpectedly or change plans as long as it didnt interfere with the whole . qsmp thing. obviously but it was easier for things to change because i knew i had an interest to fall back on happening ALL the time. and i always knew i could watch it.

technically nothings CHANGED the streams are still out there but going online and seeing whats happened while i was gone made it easier to go with the flow of so many fuckin things. now it feels like whenever something goes wrong i have nothing to hold onto.

From like. a character analysis perspective. i LOVE Ashton's tendency to have some very good instincts when it comes to like human nature and fuckery that are also very clearly swayed by their own experiences and biases, because the combination of correct gut instincts with strong confidence makes it. Easy to buy in. Or easy to bristle.

Ashton tells F.C.G "This is what happens when you start externalizing every fucking problem that you have-" and, with affection towards F.C.G- well. Yeah. And then he starts breaking down the issue- how its about people with power fucking with others, how the end goal and the aim doesn't matter, their methods are clearly AWFUL and going to harm tons of people, and besides, if they had such a clear and proper image about what they're going to achieve they could just tell people. They're going to hurt people, they're killing, people, fuck that, fuck them.

"It's easy to make a nice world by killing everyone who disagrees with you. If you get down to five it'll be amazing. Fucking utopia."

Its- beautiful. And correct, in more ways than one, and probably what everyone needed to hear, and also has so much of their own experiences and resentment threaded into it, reductive to an almost dangerous point. Dangerous because he's right, in so many ways, and confident and righteous with it. Dangerous because of how the life lessons and the rage and the loss have left them with base tenets about human nature and motivations that are clear cut and resigned and simple. Because simplicity is powerful, and reassuring, and keeps them going, and is also not infallible.

I just feel like. Ashton is so, so fucking right, often and especially here, is confident in his stances and judgement in a way that has been tested by flame and resigned itself to pessimism. Ashton is so right, and the reasoning is often so sound and tempting, and there's also so much of them, their own losses and shortcomings that bleeds into their confident readings of the world and its overall nature, in ways they maybe don't even realize.

ashton is- full of solid instincts, and also flawed by having lived their life firsthand, and also confident in a way that is reassuring until you find yourself in a blindspot, up against an immovable rockface.

After reading through postscript, I was wondering if you could elaborate on the world that Mirage and V2 are in? Is it a simulation? Is it all in V2's dying proccesor? Is it something else? In DECT Mirage says they're "outside the narrative" of Ultrakill, so is it an entirely new thing? Also how did Mirage go to college if there's no one else in her world, did she just go to emulate the human experience or?

DECT is set within an expansion of 2-S, a sort of generalized concept of a mundane life that frames the deeper idea of mortality. V2 is there for the same reason M bumps into the player character, a manufactured scenario to initiate a dialogue. so it's less of an actual world and more of a stage, if that makes sense. anything else I've created about the two of them (namely postscript) is set in a sort of expansion on DECT's world where V2 doesn't die of blood loss and they can live peacefully a little longer (and explore their relationship with M). and this take isn't a stage as much as a very literal take on a Project Diva music video (i.e. only a few select Vocaloid characters technically exist within whatever realm these 3D music videos are, but they're still interacting as if it's a fully functional society. an egregious example: Miku falling in love with a flat grey 3D model of a teenage boy). I only think that applies pre-V2 arrival though and beyond that even if the world was truly empty I think M would still go to college, I like to think of it as a testament to how far she's gotten in her own head that she wants to do something she wants with her life! she just thinks its neat

movie dilf aside, i do just genuinely appreciate your art. a lot of it is really comforting to me because a lot of the scenarios conveyed are very nice? for me to see. i dont know how else to explain it other than the fact that you write them really well and still pretty true to how i read all of these guys in the comics with some leeway provided with certain aus and whatsits. they arent too watered down in a way theyre more ‘palatable’ or something to tropes and stuff. the way you mix and match styles whenever you make panels for ur stuff is also really cool and i can only look forward to seeing more of the things you create and enjoy creating : )

fwiw, it's a lot more popular in jp, where its the most popular rk ship! (theres more content on twt where theres a thriving international community, too...) (ive been mtling the jp comics and i have tl'd some kr ones and a mutual of mine has tl'd some cn ones, but its on a private discord server)

there are only 10 fics on ao3 right now and im suffering (most of it is smut, and some are in chinese) haha....... no real fic recs yet unfortunately (the smut is nice, take ur pick based on what tags interest you if you're over 18, etcetc)

ive actually resorted to machine translating some fics on pixiv as well, but its not the same...

Im thinking how this old ass post about Romeo and Juliet was all like Oh its not about great love, they were just kids! It was about dumb teenagers doing dumb things bc of hormones :) and I wonder if they even read/watched the story at all? Like if you are doing this modern re-valuation of an old story how can you just close your eyes on the fact that Juliet's parents were straight up abusive? Its not a story about how a teen girl wanted to marry a guy and how her parents said no. It's literally part of the story that they wanted their teen daughter to marry a grown ass man the day after her brother's funeral. Like the whole Romeo and love thing aside, I think it was intentionally written that way so even the first ever audience that saw the play was made to think that this family is kinda fucked up huh. Juliet literally crying and begging to not marry her to this man or at least give her a month, but her parents say if you such an ungrateful daughter you are no longer our daughter if you wont do as we say just leave the house and go die in a ditch. Like how can you forget about this? She was inexperienced young girl, but she died bc of her parents, not bc she fell for Romeo. If Romeo didn't try to marry Juliet and if she never tried to run away from her family well, she would be married off to an old dude and die in childbirth bc she was too young. But thats impossible thought bc this is A STORY about how the circle of vengeance killed too many people for nothing and how children paid for their parents sins with their lives.

I was just wondering, how would slender court someone? This isn’t a request, I’m just genuinely curious

uhm u know wht.. ive never really given it much thought... i don't actually write a lot of slender content so i've never had to think for it but.

it would take courting so seriously, like. slender is the type to ask for permission to even start courting you in the first place. i won't tell you that it is romantic, because it doesn't know anything about romance, but it certainly tries.

it can't give you grand gifts or anything of the sort unless it tasks a proxy to do so. which... i mean.... it's certainly a thought that crosses its mind but.

so while it can't shower you with gifts (unless that's something you want then... i mean... i guess it wouldn't hurt to have toby fetch something that catches your interest. just once or twice.), it will definitely spend as much time with you as it can.

slender would want to take its time courting you for many different reasons, namely because it isn't... actually sure what the difference it between courting and dating.

it also seems like the type to gift u rocks. rocks r nice gifts, so it gives u the best rocks it can find.
