for my absence, i've been offline as usual (no surprise there). i tried to watch a bit of wild life but i keep forgetting oops. mcyt is a bit on the backburner lately. i have been more inclined recently to engage in the characters within my own verses and worlds, and also with friends.

but truthfully most of my time lately has been spent trying to live life in a less miserable way 👍 trying to reconnect with my old friends, trying to spend more time with current online friends. its probably not as holy as it sounds, and a lot of days are still spent quite aimlessly.

i dont draw as much as i like, but i don't hate myself for it! and the few art i do these days are just for other fandoms that doesn't fit this blog in particular haha (i have so many sideblogs...) that's why it seems like ive gone too quiet here. i've always been into various video games even before mcyt so i've just kinda revisited them.

that doesn't mean my life still doesn't have its really depressing miserable days, it still does. but im actively working towards in trying to view my life differently, even if only for a little bit.

i've talked a lot to a few people on regarding whether or not i want to let go of fishbloc, but i think ultimately that will always be an indefinite decision because im so sentimental towards this account and the people i've come to meet from here. besides! i am working on a few personal projects (sorry they have no set schedule oops) and a zine! so fishbloc as a whole can't be abandoned just yet.

for what its worth, i think mcyt will always be a core part of my life now, and it always was a subject i like drawing about due to the creative freedom it gave me unlike other fandoms and media. i just hope no one forgets me as i kinda hibernate right now, i'm still here.

and seeing this really helps me feel better for the uncertain times in my life that are coming. <3

Posted chapter 3 to And The Puzzle is Broken. Not gonna lie, not much happens in this one and its a bit short, but I can safely say that this chapter ends the first mini arc of "Stanley Goes Looking for Stanford's Mysterious Assistant."

And now begins the second arc, "Stanley Accidentally Kidnaps the Assistant to Help Fix the Portal, and the Assistant Makes Things Really Fucking Difficult Because He Does NOT Like the Portal - He Doesn't Really Remember Why, But the Point Still Stands."

In other words, the exposition is over, and I finally get to write about Stan and Fidds being little weirdos in the cabin. Fun times ahoy.

i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. Innocent kabukimono who admires you so much. You're the coolest person out there, and he trusts you.

Pure little kabukimono who tries making you some yummy food, only to fail since for some reason it always turns out to sour, too hot, or just burnt. It was like someone was messing with him and doing it on purpose.

And when he tells you that he's messed up yet again and sees how your face falls, he can't deal with it. He's so dumb, so stupid, he can't help it! He can't do anything without you. So he starts crying, soft little hiccups turn into full-on sobs as globs of tears fall from his eyes.

Who hugs you and apologizes over and over, he's sorry he's such a dummy! He'll learn! He'll be more useful to you, he doesn't know where the dish went wrong! Please don't abandon him, he's sorry for being useless!

And it brings him so much comfort when you hug him back, holding his tiny waist as you almost feel bad for purposefully messing up his dish, not that you'll actually apologize and tell him.

When you're sitting on the couch and you pull him onto your lap, it startles him. He shifts around a bit uncomfortably, but it's fine, he'll manage. You tell him that this is what friends do! And since you both are such close friends he doesn't complain when you pull him into your lap, even in front of other people

Eventually, he gets used to it, when you assure him that, this is what friends do- and you're his dearest friend aren't you?

He's used to it. He's trained for it. He could simply be doing some work around the house but the second you pat your lap he drops whatever he's doing, crawling onto your lap like a cat.

He doesn't know any better, so while you're in important meetings with the harbingers he'll simply crawl onto your lap like it's his own personal bed. The other harbingers always stutter in their next words- they just never seem to get used to your little boytoy

Some of the harbingers find it rather amusing, questioning why you've kept him around this long. They've never seen you with one of your boy toys after the first 3 weeks. You simply shrug, perhaps it's his innocence, his naivety to the world..and people, around him. Whatever it is, he proves to be entertaining. Which is why you just can't get rid of him yet.

Y/N: Oh goodness, are you wanting me to cry? Well, I think something that was initially a hard adjustment was the intensity of your racing schedule, and doing long distance sometimes. We don't really see each other sometimes, but when we do, you always sleep in. And at first it was really annoying to me, because we only have like, 3 days together, wake up! Let's do something! But once you told me that you let yourself sleep in on those days because it's a time to just, be, and we can do it together. So I guess my answer is, I wasn't expecting to love how much you love little moments. You've taught me to be grateful for things we take for granted, and I don't know, I think it's helped me through a lot.

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! 3. Paper Dragons!!

(the first image is her first dragon, second is her most recent i think) I don't get how these things are "paper furries", but I do know THEY ARE SICK AS FUCK. I got to see one in person and they're very cool, all with different stories! I honestly wanna ask for one but right now, I'm gonna stick with watching them.

One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

How do you do the symbolic art thing... I wanna try it but I'm just not creative..💔

first of all dont ever say that because you absolutely are (it came free with being a human person) second of all im not exactly sure how to answer this. my creation is a result of the way i am, and the way i see the world, and how i sense different sorts of things (literally im synesthetic which factors tremendously in my art) so i dont know how to apply this to a general demographic… but i’ll try my best! if you want to do whatever this “symbolic art thing” is, i guess the best thing i can tell you is that you can find great meaning in nonsense. when you do this sort of stuff youre mostly going to have no idea what youre doing, which is completely fine… actually a great mindset to have in this circumstance imo, because youre giving your art an opportunity to define itself (which if you see art as a sentient entity like i do then you’ll know it loves when you do that) i know this sounds a bit confusing but im basically telling you to go with whatever you feel beckoned by; if you draw your favorite character Sloppy Joe Glumpsmith II or whatever and you suddenly feel like a kitchen sink would go good with the muted vermillion palette you chose to color them with then by all means put a damn kitchen sink there. Put some gardenias put a beluga whale put whatever doesnt make sense but takes you by surprise when it somehow starts to make sense because it was rooted in your subconscious which is quite frankly the most reasonably nonsensical thing in the universe (art loves taking you by surprise in the creative process!!!) this is what symbolism is all about in my personal opinion (doesnt even have to be symbolism but thats what youre calling it right now) and remember there is literally nothing that can stop you btw. Idk why they always say think outside the box when there is no box there the box was a lie There was never a box in the first place and you are always roaming. youre creative because you cant help it and youre a human. uhh what am i evensaying rn LOL i hope this is somewhat helpful if i sound insane its because i am Have a lovely night ❤️

Kinda crazy how the crossover proves why there shouldn't have been one in the first place. Baki and kengen are very different but constantly get grouper together. Like yea, there might be a few similarities/references when it comes to kengen with baki, but like they are both so different, especially for them to take place in the same universe. Like the shit with pickle, so no one on the kengan side heard of pickle even tho everyone in the world was aware of his existence????

i said i wasn’t gonna say more on the whole watcher debacle but sorry i just have to talk about the ai art allegations cuz holy shit this is a massive oversight.

before going in i’d like to clarify that i don’t think steven, ryan, or shane personally implemented this BUT it was absolutely their responsibility to check over what their crew members put in their videos.

disclaimer that i did not personally find these, they were brought up through reddit threads on the snark and main subreddit.

this is the most egregious one. look at the hands. the unnatural length of the fingers. the NUMBER of fingers, the way the hands curl. that is not a mistake a human artists makes. and the way the clothes distort, the fact that one of the shirts looks like it has a finger hanging out of it. in what world is this not obviously computer generated.

this one is harder to notice, but pay attention to the bars on the boat, how they’re uneven, wobbly, some even stopping and starting up randomly. the boat’s reflection in the water does not reflect back the actual silhouette of the boat. the silhouettes of the people are harder to see but a lot of them look more like wonky blobs, though admittedly this part is rather weak.

this is the one i think i believe the least but am bringing it up anyways for posterity. the foot is wonky and the back one appears to be missing. his proportions are very off. and i cant say for certain but i seriously doubt a shadow would be that thin from this angle. this one is probably the weakest piece of evidence but feels relevant to include anyways.

there’s more i believe but it’s 3 am and i don’t wanna go personally hunting for it.

this isn’t even a new topic, people have brought it up in comments and threads in the past. and i know good and well this goes against morals that they have brought up before, so this is not quite the look you’d want. using ai art that steals from other creatives to claim as it’s own is not something i’d hope to see from a company that prides itself on being high quality art. it is entirely possible this is just the doing of someone on the art or editing team, but when one of your figureheads and his wife is openly against generative ai like this, you would expect quality control to ensure this never happens.

i hope they’ll speak up about this, and either prove that this isn’t the case or deal with whoever implemented this, though i’m doubtful they will. if they don’t address it and continue to use ai generated art then i hope everyone all has a long look at whether or not this company is as genuine in its passion for creativity as they have tried to appear.

honestly either way i don’t care, im done with these three’s content and have been for a while, but those of you still supporting deserve all the information you can as they proceed forward with this “plan” of theirs. make whatever decision you want regarding this, i wish you all the very best.

So we all know about the Shadow Man Easter egg charecter right? The one who we see in small glimpses scattered across the Mr. Puzzles episodes? (Most prominently seen as a hand in Mr Puzzles' Clubhouse at 1:38? )

Well,,, what if that's Mr Puzzles dad?

Alright, hear me out.

What if his father saw what Puzzles has grown up to be and realized it was his fault, so now he follows him around in hopes of finding a way to atone/fix things? Maybe the crew find themselves stuck with no way to get out and in comes Puzzles Senior to save them. (Although I REALLY want to see Tari be the one to break them out like in Western Spaghetti.)

And at the end there will be this climactic moment of him saying 'Im so sorry I was never supportive, it's my fault you turned out that way, I just want to mend things between us' and maybe distract him until the SMG4 crew go in for the kill. Because let's face it, he's going to die.

Another really interesting idea is that this could be puzzles from another timeline where he didn't go insane and maybe actually did become a famous director, coming to this dimension somehow to tame his alter self.

Either that or: (and I really like this one) Mr Puzzles was never a human to begin with.

My personal headcanon for him is that he is fully robotic and his creator, the actual Kid Puzzles, created him for his theme park. However, due to some conflict or other, Puzzles was set free into the world, not knowing that he was supposed to be a mascot, but having the memories of his creator and knowing that at some point he used to be a kid who watched TV a lot.

Maybe the shadow man is Kid (Now Man) Puzzles looking for his missing creation, and as the one who programmed him, he could help Tari bring him down so he could take him in for repairs. That would explain why Puzzles is so heavily characterized by lack of creativity and also give him a chance to show up again in a different episode, but this time a lot more nice and well meaning.

your fans had shown an insane amount of support from the number of streams and pre-saves for your new music, everything career wise made you feel on top of the world.

personal life wise, not so much.

you had met tom awhile back, the two of you had instantly connected while he was filming the latest spider-man movie. you two had gone out on a couple dates, hooked up a few times, the usual.

you could tell he was an absent minded guy

you would give him a tap on the shoulder every time you thought he was missing something important

this seemed quite mundane to you

the kid is one of the younger ones so theyre still struggling when it comes to reading

(but with a teacher like his papa, he's making amazing progress. he's just struggling with some newer words aaand just likes listening to him talk)

seeing papa sitting on The Chair, with a book and their younger sibling sitting in front of him on the rug, bouncing excitedly in their seat, has everyone quickly gathering next to them and getting ready for story time

venti's storytelling varies depending on the mood. sometimes he simply reads it, especially if its a chill day or bedtime, and sometimes he narrates and gets some of his kids as volunteers to act it ou

one thing for sure though, it's never boring. as you would, of course, expect from a bard.

you can't care less about theatrics or his enunciation

all you care about is the sight of your most loved ones gathered together and happy, laughing away without a care in the world
