notes: one of my favourite fics ever on god. started my brainrot for dad!husk, portrays one of the most scrumptious radiostatic dynamics and is generally so very well written that i might end up trying to recreate one of the scenes in comic form. genuinely in love with this fic and im so glad i can say i was the first comment on this fic because my God its such a treat to see new chapters drop for this. unfortunately i havent had the time to write out a detailed comment as of now but if someone wants to let the author know that im still in love with their fic and will continue supporting it until i drop dead go ahead for me

notes: the prequel and main fic of this series is human radiostatic, though the sequel is set in hell. it comes with gorgeous gorgeous art and frankly one of the most exhilirating endings ive ever had the pleasure of witnessing play out. i recommend you guys check out their other fics too, the art continues in them + their radiostatic is written wonderfully across all universes!

notes: this fic is very self indulgent to me. i love the way radiostatic is written in this one because theyre very soft and sweet, but others may not prefer it if theyre looking for freak4freak radiostatic. if you just want something to indulge in and relax with at the end of a heavy day though this is my #1 rec. i read this sometimes when i find myself crying at night lmao

notes: made me sob like a baby. 10/10 no notes whatsoever read it for yourself because you WILL not regret it. i genuinely am always at a loss for words whenever i reread this because it is among the most gutwrenching but beautiful and poetic works that ive ever read and i think it deserves some recognition

notes: again, to reiterate, i do very much dislike the abusive!staticmoth portrayal i see in a lot of fics. but in this one... it's written so perfectly, i can definitely see it actually happening. i enjoy the way that val does still seem to care about vox, albeit in his own twisted way that eventually breaks and fractures their love and trust, and its just. Ugh. So fucking good

Funny thing they have their asks open and answer non question like stuff (basically just talking)

Well my friend started talking to them in anon while also adding an anon sign off so Afonso could recognize em (they used the 💽🎞 emoji combo)

And Afonso always* drew a little doodle when answering them, they even drew the anons and gave them unique designs based off their emojis

When I saw my friend talking to Afonso (who is literally my idol) I ofcourse wanted to do it too so I sent in a few asks (one or two asks really because i was nervous and shy) ALSO using an anon sign off (though i got the short end of the stick because my anon sign off had stuff to do with trees my lil guy was a tree too)

Then new anons started appearing so Afonso started drawing them designs too

People REALLY loved the designs and everything was going jolly

Then Notepad anon made an account for their anonsona

Everyone LOVED the idea and started making accounts too

The anons were interacting with eachother, drawing eachother fanart, blah blah blah everything was so fun and jolly!!

BUT there was a certain anon (I've seen a few names used for them like funny, odd, creepy but most common was silly anon so ill just call em that) silly anon had an account way before they started sending asks to Afonso

I wasnt there to see it myself but from what ive heard Silly Anon is canonically a child, back when the account first started people sent "asks" to silly anon just brutally murdering them woth gory descriptions that i wont be talking about now, this of course affected the child a lot and the kid grew up to be extremely violent (they were canonically 7 years old when they started sending asks to Afonso i believe) they also closed their own ask box because they were scared of getting hurt again

Silly anon would brutally kill people if not given enough candy (they of course loved candy bc theyre a literal child) so there was a full on massacre that happened because silly hadnt eaten enough candy to calm down

I believe it was here when we learned of a power Afonso had, they could draw in the air with their finger and anything they drew became real! But if they drew too much theyd experience a burn out where their hand was literally burnt and they couldnt draw properly

So Afonso started drawing candy for silly anon and when they couldnt draw because of a burn out they went and bought some for them

Afonso also tried to treat silly well and made them feel welcome (acting like a parental figure in my opinion)

So silly started trusting Afonso

Afonso drew all the dead people back to life and everything was alright again

Timeskip to when sillys canonical birthday came, they were turning 8 years old, they made a post about it and tagged every anon, everyone gave silly candy and sweets!! It was going so well until ONE ANONYMOUS ASSHOLE stabbed silly anon, silly healed quickly but was enraged, seeing red even, the ask box closed back up and silly went on another rampage literally killing EVERY ANON THERE IS and they were killing these anons using methods people ued on them, making the anons live trough sillys trauma

Okay so every anon was dead, Afonso was outside while all this was happening so when they came back they were horrified, every anon was dead and silly was so mad they even wanted to kill Afonso but Afonso started crying about how they couldnt make silly feel better, become a better person and theyve done all that they could

Silly dropped their weapon and hugged Afonso falling asleep on their shoulder because they were exhausted from all that killing, they breathed out a white gas from their mouth recovering every anon thats body was still intact and not turned into a pile of gore

Afonso drew all the other people back to life so now every anon is back EXCEPT ONE, 💽🎞 anon (who we like to call dvd anon), dvd anon was underground when they got killed so they cant be recovered right now

But every other anon is back

Thats where the story is at right now

persona 5... ok i have to be honest ive been really reluctant to talk about this on here and its why ive been quiet the past at least week or so. no idea why. i guess cause its so different from the stuff i usually post about that i feel like, embarrassed? but i started playing persona 5 royal around may and really liked it but i didnt have the time to properly get into it until now and it has completely taken over my life entirely without me even realising. to be honest i could obsess over like a rock on the ground if i saw it at the right time in my life but hands down persona 5 is one the best if not the best game ive ever played in my life. the story is engaging, the characters are distinctive and realistic and i really really care about all of them, the gameplay is so much fun and combat is buttery fucking smooth like nothing ive ever played before, the music is top tier and what got me interested in the game in the first place, and the ART DIRECTION. it speaks for itself to be honest ESPECIALLY compared to the older games. i was shocked starting persona 4 because of how different it is to persona 5 like, persona 5 has SUCH a distinct visual identity as well as tone, themes, imagery etc it is all just so stunning and perfect and i want to live in it. but i think about it so often like literally 24/7 that i may as well be. i <3 persona 5 and i <3 YUSUKE KITAGAWA. he's definitely my favourite character and he came out of NOWHERE but hes actually everything in the world to me. one of the characters ever.

persona 4 is it a copout to say that? i did try and condense both games into one bullet point but 1. they're such a mainstay in my life right now i was struggling to think of more points and 2. it kind of lost its precision and didn't effectively convey just how personapilled i am right now. i originally wasn't gonna play 4, all i knew is that it was more difficult and less good so i thought i should stay away. but if you go anywhere persona-related on the internet (which i would warn against, the fandom is a fucking cesspit the likes of which i havent seen in a long time as an obscure-shit-enjoyer) you'll quickly run into adachi. and as a lover of men with high-pitched voices and sexypedia entries... i couldn't stay away. before even starting the game i had made a d6 and d20 with different adachis on each face so really it was just a matter of time. and you know what... it's not that bad. the graphics were a SHOCKING step down but i find the low(er) poly style really charming. the adachi model is too cute T_T whenever i see it in the game world i just wanna sit with it for ages. i wonder if i could get it like 3d printed so i could keep him on my desk with me at all times... its bad for me ! the combat is fucking clunky espeically compared to 5 and i kind of hate it but that just makes it more rewarding when i can finally stop LOL. some of the characters (especially the main few (yosuke, chie, yukiko)) took a bit to grow on me but its kind of sweet.. its like authentic.. our relationship is growing as i get to know them better... but dojima and nanako ive loved since i first set eyes on them. too cute. it makes me feel so fatherless. its like.. a lot more magnetic than i expected it to be. i love it even with all its flaws. i saw a meme about it being like twin peaks and thats kind of so real. and you know i love a murder mystery... so yeah tldr i like persona now. but its hard to talk about it on here because it is such a big fandom but not like an active one like spiderman or like good omens or whatever slightly more normal people are watching so its kind of intimidating. maybe ill get over myself, maybe ill go silent for 3 months until i get into something new. we'll see i guess LOL

yes, though over the past few years ive never really liked to pay attention to number of notes per day bc that's just too easy to get stupidly obsessed with them (i do look at the activity tab though bc i like to look at peoples tags lol). based on that graph i was averaging a couple thousand notes a day, but now it's under 500 a day since flagging. so people definitely aren't seeing my posts even when i have refrained from reblogging things (bc i know it wont reach people if they have their settings a certain way, so im saving them in drafts).

hehe, thank you! while i recognize myself that i wasnt entirely consistent, i think its a great thing itself that i persisted until the end. I will be working harder to try more consistency in the future.

I tend to be a very shy person and i maybe dont interact with much people outside here, im relatively new so i dont think i have started interacting much with anyone, but id love to get to know others as well as learning some advice for getting to hang around others more, i tend to feel motivated by others around me, and to me thats a bit hard as the year ends.

HANDLING JEALOUSY: everyone for sure has a crush on jamie. i also imagine jamie was an entire heartbreaker (lil slutty phase?) before he moved into the neighbourhood, so he carries this air of confidence around people interested in him. he’s a flirt in an understated way, polite and gentlemanly to a fault sometimes, so it isn’t surprising when people try their luck with him.

before you start seeing jamie, it’s a little disheartening. there’s a long time where you feel like a stupid kid with a crush and no chance, and here he is, at this barbecue being very publicly propositioned by a beautiful woman closer to his age, and he’s too polite to tell her he’s not interested right away, but you go home too early to see him finally let her down gently (which also means you’re gone before he comes looking for you, having made you up a plate before the best food was gone).

after you start seeing him, though, while it’s a little grating to not be able to walk up and kiss him and put an end to the charade, it’s mostly fun. it’s fun to see him brush off others, knowing he’s all in for you. it’s especially fun when you can scroll down to the album buried deep in your phone and text him a photo from your last time alone together and watch as he opens it and tries to keep a straight face in front of whoever’s talking to him.

YOUR PARENTS FINDING OUT: so part of me wants to write the huge blow up and falling out which would occur if your parents interrupted yall mid-stroke (lmao) and that's how they found out, but more realistically, i feel like it gets to a point where your parents have heard so many rumours, and they've watched you change over the months, going from completely disinterested in jamie to visibly excited and giddy when he's around, they kinda know what's happening, to an extent.

they sit you down alone one night and hit you really seriously with "are you interested in jamie?" and you have to be like.. he's been balls deep inside me so yeah, mom, i'm a little interested (you don’t mention how you've already been seeing him for a solid 2-3 months, what they don't know can't hurt them lmao). they're a bit uncomfortable with the idea but they let it chill for a week or two and then they're realistic about it: you're an adult and jamie isn't that much older than you, it's just a little weird that he knew your dad first, maybe.

The merging of prominent bloodlines is always a grand occurrence, but breeding pedigree hunter families like Winchester and Harvelle is something to be rejoiced. It is also something to be meticulously planned, which thankfully the Host is very good at.

Or, the romantic comedy where Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle are destined to get married, Castiel is given the task of playing matchmaker and fails terribly, the entire Heavenly Host becomes a sitcom audience, God warns against male pregnancy, and Jimmy Novak is incredibly unimpressed with angels in general.

somewhat of a fandom classic and the humor holds up wonderfully. a very silly fic completed with commentary from angel radio throughout the entire thing.

I primarily listen to music when im out and about on the train with spotify. I have a long commute to work and i take that time to enjoy my music! however i absolutely Adore vinyl and am trying to find ways to set up my record player so i can listen to them frequently again.

ok idk if this counts, but the first season of the umbrella academy had such an incredible soundtrack that even if it wasn't a music related show the the music is the biggest thing i took away from that show, more than story or acting.

As i mentioned earlier i have an irrational fear of repeating a song i love so much i hate it, so I'll let myself listen to it a few times over and the move on so that excitement stays alive.

I dont have very interesting naming conventions usually, "get your ass out of bed" is a particular fave for when i was badly depressed and played upbeat music to motivate me out of bed.

Bucky ran into my hospital room skidding to a stop followed closely by Sam. He looked at me with wide eyes as he noticed the tiny bundle in my arms and slowly made his way over to get a closer look.

"I was too late.....i missed it" he said quietly "I'm so sorry doll, i got here as fast i could"

"Its fine, it was a surprise to all of us" i smiled at him.

"She's beautiful"

"Congratulations mama, you did good" Sam added with a huge smile.

"She's so tiny" Bucky said with tears in his eyes.

"I know you did and i would've loved to have had you there, it was a shock to everyone when she decided she was ready for the world" i laughed before covering my mouth as i yawned.

"Get some sleep doll, i'll stay right here and watch this little princess. Got a name picked out yet?"

"Grace, Grace James" i smiled "named after the best man i know, you've been my saving grace through everything James Buchanan Barnes"

"Are you serious....."

"Yep" i nodded and Bucky leant down to kiss me.

"I don't know what to say....."

"You don't need to say anything" i smiled feeling my eyes start to close, i was truly exhausted and nothing was keeping me awake.

After sleeping for a few hours i had woken up to find Bucky sitting in the chair next to my bed with Grace asleep on his chest, It was a sight that melted my heart. The rest of the team had showed up shortly after with Harrison to meet the newest addition, i had enjoyed cuddles with my biggest baby while everyone fussed over Grace.

"Can we go home?" Harrison asked quietly looking up at me.

"Soon buddy, mama just needs to wait for the doctor" i smiled stroking my fingers through his soft blonde hair.

"Gracie come too?"

"Yep"

"And Uncle Bucky?"

"Of course" Bucky said before i had a chance to answer the question.

"Good" Harrison reached for Bucky wanting some of his attention now. The nurse stuck her head in telling me the doctor would be in shortly, i thanked her and sighed in relief.

"Hopefully they'll let me go home"

"Here" Sam passed the baby back to me "we'll get out of the way while the doctor comes by. If you need anything though just call"

"Of course, thanks for stopping by you guys it means a lot" i smiled at my friends.

I was so happy to be home, Harrison was sound asleep after Bucky read him his favourite book....like he did every night. Grace had just been changed and fed and was now fast asleep in her bassinet where we could keep an eye on her. Bucky had pulled me down onto the sofa with him to cuddle once we knew both kids were settled.... i felt the happiest id felt in a long time and couldn't help the smile that spread on my face.

"What you smiling about doll?" Bucky asked close to my ear before pressing his lips against my neck.

"Im just happy" i admitted casually "I've got my babies and I've got you.... i hate to say it because i know something is bound to mess it up but... Buck, this all feels perfect" i looked up at him and smiled before kissing him.

"Mmm feels perfect to me too"

"There is something i wanted to talk to you about though" i said sitting up so i could turn to face him properly.

"What is it?" He asked looking worried.

"Its nothing bad, relax" i chuckled taking his hand in mine.

"I just... i wondered how you would feel about me putting your name down as Grace's father.... give her your name"

I heard his intake of breath and he froze.

"You don't have to, i don't want you to feel like you have to say yes its just your already her dad in my eyes....." i said quickly trying to get it all out before he starting freaking out. But he didn't freak out at all, he literally pounced on me giving me the best kiss of my life.

"Is that a yes?" I asked breathlessly as he looked down at me with the biggest grin and tears in his eyes.

"Yes, id be honoured doll"

"Seriously?"

"Ive never been more serious in my life, you and the kids are the best things in my life.... i..." he stopped like he was unsure he should say what he wanted to.

I knew what he was about to say but he was scared of rejection, it was clear as day on his face.

"Its okay Buck..... if you say it i'll say it back...."

"I love you!" He blurted out making me smile like an idiot!

"I love you too Bucky" i pulled him back down so i could kiss him again "just for the record.... once im recovered properly, Sam and Wanda are having the kids for the night. We're gonna need some alone time" i wiggled my eyebrows at him.

"Yes m'am" he smiled before burying his face in my neck and playfully nibbling at the area making me giggle.

"Sshhh you'll wake Grace" he mumbled sounding sexy as hell, this man was gonna be the death of me!

After being woken up by Harrison running into the room and climbing into bed with us (where he proceeded to jump all over Bucky) we started getting ready for the day. Grace had slept through the night like an angel, when i looked into her bassinet she was just laying there looking around.

"So what you got planned for today?" Bucky asked when i walked into the kitchen cradling Grace, he was sat at the kitchen table with Harrison who was happily colouring in his Spiderman colouring book.

"Just taking it easy, Wanda is coming round to see the kids. Ive already had texts from her this morning asking when she can come by" i laughed "so i give her like 30 minutes tops before shes knocking at the door" 

"Sounds about right"

"Here, can you take Grace and i'll cook us some breakfast"

"Sure doll, i can do the cooking if you want though..."

"I can do it, its fine" i said as i carefully laid Grace in his arms.

"Okay, I'm not complaining. I get cuddles with this cutie" he cooed at Grace who just stared at him with big blue eyes.

I was just plating up our breakfast when there was a knock at the door.

"What did i tell you? 20 minutes! Thats gotta be a new record" i laughed shaking my head.

"I'll get it..."

"Ive got it, You've got Grace" i gave him a quick kiss as i passed and he blushed! The ex winter soldier actually blushed!!

"Hey Wan, thats gotta be your best time yet did you fly here?" I asked as i opened the door smiling..... the smile fell from my face instantly when i looked up and it wasn't Wanda.

"Steve...." i said my heart racing as i looked at him, there he stood looking just as young as the day he left me!

"Hey sweetheart".

i love this tag game i really had to think about the edits i was going to choose cause i made sooo many. i started with really really poor quality as i was looking back to the beginning of creating them. but now nothing but beauty, and im really proud of that cause i found a good hobby and passion to create this year throughout all the chaos and made some really amazing friends and will hopefully continue to make more! 

so here are my favs edits that i created this year with small inspirations/explanations 

1. my first tcw+mcu quote set 

this was the first set that included gifs i made on photoshop! it was so much fun starting to experiment with better quality. the two gifs without words i made in giphy cause i couldn’t figure out how to get the gif under 10mb lol. and i really dont know how i did that with the gifs that have words lol. I got this idea to mix the two fandoms from a good friend. 

2. my first mando edit 

simple edit but i love it so much. the color editing i did this was immaculate and the scene hella cute and a glimpse into the development of their relationship. that little ball is apart of the story now. love it

3. rex and ahsoka edit

the saddest edit ive ever made for the saddest tcw arc in existence. i love the in between gifs i made for this edits cause its when i learned to properly put clips together in the same gif without it looking wonky this edit took me like a week to finish just to get down the font and those scenes in between 

4. chadwick boseman tribute 

not many people know i made this. losing chadwick this year was like losing a family member you take all they did for you until they die and its like damn all those experiences feel a lot heavier than they should. and this year i really learned to enjoy the time i have with people cause you seriously have no idea when you’ll lose them such a cliche thing i guess but that saying was evident this year for so many people. so cherish the time you have with people no matter who they are. 

5. superposition edit

sweet little underrated edit of mine i really love what i did with the black and white scenes and the song lyrics are from daniel caesars song superpostion which is a godly song give it a listen please!! it got me through some dark times.
