1. him by lostmathmajor - one of my first parenting au fics and i think about this fic from time to time. it's incomplete sadly but i'll wait for the author to update forever! what i love about it is how you feel zoro's desperation and pining for sanji through his actions and it extends to sanji's daughter. ugh you just have to read it.

2. at last, i see the light by anxietyismymoralcompass - tangled au! this was such a good adaptation of my fave disney princess movie <3

3. never grow a wishbone by peacesigndisasterbi - set post laughtale where sanji and zoro reaches their goal. i loved the angst and yearning in this plus the fantasy plot was so good too!

4. a sip of sunlight by greenyogurtelephant - such a cute little oneshot. very summer-y, i read it recently when i was in the mood for something bright. i imagined like an italian countryside or some wine country areas in northern california.

5. stuck in your throat by fruityumbrella - val writes one of the best dialogues ugghhhh read everything they write!!!

6. let's go to bed by fantasmagorial - so soft and fluffy....very comforting. i read this when i was having trouble sleeping lmao

7. i got this feeling by harubo - i know, this author is very popular in the fandom but this one fic of theirs is not as popular i think. i really loved it cause i have a pet as well and used to run an IG page for him so i related hahah

8. tin lover by riotoftime & aevv - ongoing, im kinda shy to add this but i am hooked....the writing style and dialogue are so good and distinct because each character is developed/written by different authors!

U watch him carefully pick up the lil beads, his hands slow and careful, sometimes a lil shaky trying not to drop any. His tongue sticks out just a lil when hes really focused. He ends up cutting the string wayy too small for your wrist and wayyy too big for his🤭 "psh idc if theres pink beads. Im a man," he mumbles while picking random colors, which have no pattern whatsover. Just random colors and shapes put together, but still cute in his own lil way. music plays on low from his phone, every once and a while u both sing a popular chorus together (I just know Africa by toto would be on is playlist💀). He spills some gossip to u about his coworkers overheard in the break room and sips his drink while looking down at ur hands. Ur hands moving gently, pushing the string thru the beads. He's so stuck in the moment, he makes not 1, not 2, but like 5 bracelets, some of his own, some matching with u, and one for his mom. He considered making some for tiger and wolf, but he figured they'd end up breaking it somehow😆 you hear him sigh and curse under his breath when he tries to tie them, his "big fingers" keep getting in the way and he asks u for help with his whiny impatient voice😭😭 as soon as u tie them for him he immediately puts them on and shows u his wrists, a big smile curves on his lips while he examines ur face. Ofcourse u guys end up taking pics with them, especially the matching ones. He carefully picks the perfect song to put over it on his insta story (probably a popular song from 2010..maybe jay sean cuz hes cheesy like that lmaoo) and giggles before he tags u with a bunch of emojis next to ur name. He can't stop staring at them for the rest of the day, and constantly raises the hand with the bracelet that matches urs, making sure everyone can see it. It's pretty clear he's never taking it off and hes cherishing that memory forever❤️
