philippines recap !!

@vbbaby-girl still no pics yet. also hoping and praying no one from my trip sees this because multiple people told me i seemed like i was like batman (in the sense that i am leading a secret double life) and i don’t need them finding this blog

stuff we did:

13 hour flight, then a 3 hour flight (they took our phones before we left but the plane had little tv’s so it was okay) (watched la la land, played plants vs zombies, journaled, read the secret history, talked to the guy (also on the trip) who sat next to me, slept a bit, and didn’t get up once.)

we skipped wednesday basically

met my twin (sat by him on both plane rides actually) (literally he looked exactly like me. it was so strange.)

went to the beach (SO FUN. except, there were sea urchins. i only saw one and it was already dead.) (we also played ultimate football. it was fun but also scary because i was worried about sea urchins.)

swam with whale sharks (not in captivity guys i’m not a monster) (it was scary but also cool. i am actually terrified of fish. but it was cool.) (the boat we took was like the ones in moana)

went zip lining (SO FUN so beautiful)

saw tarsiers (so creepy. so off putting. yet so cute? their hands were so.. human. but mini. it was so creepy. but cool.)

saw the chocolate hills (they looked like regular hills. i thought we were getting chocolate there and we did not. disappointing but also it was cool.)

went snorkeling (took another moana boat and the shorts i was wearing got SOAKED) (me and my cousin and one other girl on the trip were together and taken away really far from the rest of the group so we lowkey thought we were getting kidnapped) (part of our group came by us a little bit later and we were in fact not kidnapped and actually had the coolest guide ever. most of the guides wouldn’t let you take pictures of the fish and turtles and stuff but our guide took my cousin’s gopro and got AMAZING pictures.) (i had a wee panic attack bc fish are literally my biggest fear and there were SO MANY FISH. it was okay though.)

had the weirdest dream. (the words directly from my journal: “i was at a gas station and this lady got in my car and threatened me with a knife and i drove us to this warehouse where this massive guy and his kid were. then i woke up.” it was so weird and lowkey scary.)

worksite! moved a bunch of chairs and desk and stuff to the basement. so many spiders. so many cockroaches. also moved a lot of trash. so many spiders. we also bended rebarb, mixed cement, chiseled, and painted a mural. lowkey we did nothing except like odd jobs on the site. fun but like. meh. (most of the time we spent was at the worksite. 9 am to 4 pm monday-friday.)

had another crazy dream. “i was with [cousin] and [1] (the same 1 in the later story) and i left and went to this rinky dink circus. it was a big concrete pit with painted horses. then one of the horses got out and started running at us. i was freaking out and i was getting out of the way and pushed 1 off the circus pit thing and she fell down the stairs and her face got all busted up.” so basically i almost killed her in my dream.

canyoneering!!! so cool. so fun. lowkey scary, but i did all the cliff jumps and the rope swing.

mall! so fun.

free time!!!! it was so needed. a chill day that was not planned but the best day ever.

had another CRAZY dream. i was basically reading a fan fiction about me and my friend who i used to have a crush on.

saw an overview of the city. so beautiful.

had one last fun night with the locals. so sad but did lots of fun things.

had a meeting with my trip leaders. they got me ice cream.

fun goodbye ceremony at the school (the worksite)

food:

- we ate two meals on the plane. what meals those were? i have no idea. it was lowkey nasty and i did not eat it. also, im only writing down the meals i wrote down. i also mixed up the order so much in my journaling so it doesn’t really match up with the days.

dinner: pizza with mango and parmesan cheese. it was weird but good. mostly good.

breakfast: toast (untoasted bread), egg-beans (gross. i don’t know why i ate it. i hate eggs and beans.), mango (AMAZING. the mangoes in the philippines were the best ever.), and sausage (yummy)

lunch: floating restaurant (a boat) buffet. i do not remember what it was and i did not write it down :( OH WAIT this was the peppers!! we had these super tiny peppers and they were SO SPICY and we took a couple back with us and snuck them into each others pockets.)

breakfast: (we had a snack instead of breakfast because we ate breakfast at the snorkeling place) mango juice, this cake thing, and fake oreos

brunch: fried eggs (i gave mine away since i don’t like eggs), rice, chicken adobo, watermelon, and cucumbers

lunch: family style. lowkey i forgot what we had. we also got ice cream! but my stummy was hurting so i didn’t have any.

breakfast: pancakes (i put nutella on mine) with fruit cocktail

lunch: rice and this tomato chicken with pineapple

dinner: the most DELICIOUS potatoes i’ve ever eaten and chicken and rice

lunch: chicken adobo and rice

dinner: spaghetti

second dinner: we were at a members house and had dinner there too. we had pasta with a creamy sauce, pizza, and this filipino drink thing. it was cream with mangoes and green jello. it lowkey made my stummy hurt but it was SO GOOD

breakfast: waffles (with nutella)

breakfast: eggs (did not eat), hash browns, and grapes

lunch: rice, orange chicken, and pineapple. (SO GOOD. top 3 meals.)

breakfast/lunch/dinner: i only ate crackers because i was sick oops

breakfast: nutella sandwich. so yummy. mango juice, but it was lowkey bad.

snack: granola bar thing. so yummy. also this fried banana thing. so yummy.

lunch: vegetable rice and grilled chicken. i only ate the rice.

dinner: mall stromboli. so good.

breakfast: hash browns, eggs (did not eat) bacon, grapes.

lunch: chicken, rice, and the delicious potatoes.

breakfast: chicken nuggets (did not eat), pancakes, and mangoes. i put nutella on my pancakes of course.

lunch: rice, rice noodles, orange chicken, and oranges

ice cream! so yummy. i got strawberry.

dinner: spaghetti with chicken parm

had the most delicious chocolate cookies.

breakfast: hot ham and cheese with oranges

lunch: rice and beef stroganoff

dinner: tacos (i slept through this and lowkey i was so sad about it)

breakfast: waffles (with nutella) and mangoes and one pop tart

lunch: sweet n sour pork, rice, rice noodles, and cinnamon rolls. SO GOOD

dinner: chicken, rice, and rice noodles

breakfast: french toast and mangoes

lunch: this one i wrote so much about. “holy moly i just had the most scrumptious meal i have ever eaten. we had rice, potatoes, pasta salad, this fried meat thing, and red velvet cake.” and then i wrote about how delicious it was.

dinner: pizza and fries. then we got ice cream and cake for a birthday.

bonus things

so many bug bites.

was so sick for 5 ish days

got my ears pierced at the mall for 250 pesos with all but two of the girls in my group (the company office called all of our parents because it is “against the rules” even though there was no official rule (we checked) and the trip leaders both knew and were okay with it)

cried on my cousins shoulder and she thought i was drooling on her (i was sick, literally so nauseous, but i still was at the evening activity (going to a basilica and then going to get halohalo (which i did not eat because i was so nauseous. this was the day i only ate crackers.) because i didn’t want to be left out again because we were pushing day 4 of me being sick at home.) and i felt SO sick and i felt like no one really wanted to be around me and everyone was getting close without me and like i was just on the outside of everything. we were on the bus and i was laying on her shoulder and then i was crying and my tears were rolling down my face onto her shoulder and she thought i was asleep and drooling on her.

learned 2 card tricks

filled up 44 pages in my journal (so far.. i haven’t done today yet.)

did karaoke (love story) (with 4 other people)

played a filipino game (we passed a spoon and a fork around and said “this is a spoon/fork” and “ah spoon/fork” and if you messed up or had both at the same time you had to do a talent)

played john the baptist (the person in the middle had a cup of water and a spoon and was thinking of something in a category. everyone in the circle had to say a thing from the category and if they said what the middle person was thinking of or repeated something that was already said they got water poured on them and became the new middle person)

made a list of all the foods i won’t eat (will share later upon request)

“[name] is a quiet girl with strong opinions. such as her love for taylor swift and dislike of many foods.” (we did a spotlight every day and at the end of the day we went around in a circle and said what we like about them. one guy wrote a little paragraph for each person and that was the first thing he said about me. i did in fact cry, but it was when i was saying what i like about the other spotlights.)

we couldn’t flush the toilet paper. i am not used to flushing it now.

we also couldn’t use the tap water to rinse our toothbrush. it feels weird to do it now.

left someone at home (the drive was an hour because of traffic and then we realized we forgot him. the drive back was only 15 minutes.) (we are always supposed to be in a group of three and we left him by himself at home. it was so silly because the guy we left behind was high key everyone’s favorite person in the group.)

tried balut! it wasn’t bad. i was lowkey terrified to eat it but i ate the whole thing. the soup just tasted like chicken broth and the duck tasted like a bite of chicken and the egg tasted like a hard boiled egg. all of it with no flavor except salt really. not bad but mostly likely would not eat again.

strap in for this story guys. so this girl (1) shared a room with this other girl (2). 1 had seen this towel in the bathroom and had been wiping her butt on it after showering or using the bidet (they ran out of toilet paper a lot) or whatever. so basically 1 had been wiping her but with this towel for three days. THEN 1 sees 2 wiping her face with the towel. as it turns out, the towel is 2’s face towel. 1 steals the towel and hides it in another group of girl’s room. 2 has no idea where the face towel went and has no idea that it was being used to wipe 1’s butt for three days. 1 tells everyone in the group (including the trip leaders and trip parents) so we ALL know except 2. then a few days later, the girls are all together in one room and the boys are all together in another. the adults are all having a meeting. the boys pass the girls a note under the door saying “pooker is coming” and the girls respond “do you want the towel” and the boys respond “yes”. so, they take the towel and throw it in the boys room. the towel lands on the pillow of the trip dad. he finds out and is PISSED. he strips all the sheets with everything on them off of the bed and leaves them in the living room. the sheets and towel end up in my closet and were still there when we left at the end of the trip.

i haven’t pooped in like 5 days

passed around my copy of the outsiders between 4 people (they each finished it completely on the trip)

had the most delicious strawberry oreos. i have thought about them every day.

pillows!!! my favorite filipino snack. my love. my everything.

so many mango flavored things.

everyone was so friendly. they always waved at us and smiled at us. one time i was on the bus and we were stopped for a bit because of traffic and i played rock paper scissors through the window with a filipino kid on a different bus.

used a bidet for the first time. lowkey scary and did not feel like i was clean. but there was no toilet paper.

went to church for 5 hours

counted how many times my trip leader said “like” during one sitting (84)

did the cube ladder field test. i think i messed it up lowkey.

took so many naps. (i am not a napper ever)

played 4 kings. so fun. so basically each king is a dare. you decide the dares before the game starts. each card is spread out on the table and everyone takes turns picking the cards. the other cards decide who picks and there’s like mini games and stuff. so fun.

was deemed the third flattest person in the group (i mean. it was true.)

had a super in depth conversation about harry potter lore with my trip leader

for some reason i could not wash my hair. the back was greasy every day.

all the girls did nightly debriefs.

lived the same day twice. my flight landed two hours before it left because of the time difference, so we time traveled basically.

SO MUCH MORE STUFF HAPPENED but i can’t write it all out

#it is 5:30 am and i have not slept #so much for trying not to be jet lagged

outer worlds things i like so far

game does a very good job of the feeling of discovering something that is absolutely fucking terrifying. very clear feedback. im like hmm i wonder what happens if i do X and outer wilds IMMEDIATELY tells me that i have fucked up terribly and am now doomed to slowly asphyxiate in space

in general one of the best "games that initially seems very homey and comfortable and then rockets into horror" because it builds to it at a very natural speed. you get enough of timber hearth to get comfortable with the protagonist's home and then you lift off and probably discover a couple weird things but you're so preoccupied with everything being confusing that it doesn't hit you and by you i mean me that you're in a horror game until The Sun. and even when you ARE fully aware you're in a horror game and you know enough to get to the scary spots the comfortable world doesn't disappear. you can still find the other explorers on the world and have a comfortable place to rest. they always come back and you're constantly reminded that all these things exist in the same universe. which also makes it so much worse that you can't save them.

obv the environmental design is really good. the planets are big enough that you need to know where you're going but small enough that it feels like my fault i am literally always lost. i do wonder how the timber hollow people grow their food though. where are the sugar canes for the marshmallows....

same vein open world that's big enough to feel like there's a lot there but not so big that most of it's filler. big little world

clapping my hands like a fucking seal for the worldbuilding i love the nomai writing system it's so cool and the creative uses of the quantum crystals for architecture are so awesome. the foreshadowing in the museum is still my favorite though

the shuttle that just wastes your fucking time is really funny. i spent so long finding ways to kill myself trying to use it. very mean but i respect it

as a deep sea life fan i wanna be a hater so bad and say that anglerfish imagery is overplayed and them being the deep sea creature everyone and their mother uses for horror and how about you do some actual research and find a marine animal that has an interesting trait you can use for unique imagery..... but i must reluctantly admit. that the implementation. is extremely bad ass. and so i'm fine with it

things im not a huge fan of

i am on my fucking knees begging please just let me mark a spot where i am standing on my map. please. i know where the hanging city is i need to get to the specific spot in the hanging city where my thing is. would it be that gamebreaking for me to just be able to mark the location of the tiny entrance into the meltwater district. you don't even have to give me more than one.

not very robust accessibility stuff. the janky controls are intentional but an option for a slightly bigger margin of error for stuff like getting into/falling out of the elevators would really help for us shaky-handed bitches out there. also there are a lot of flashing lights including an unavoidable section every single time you die.

not averse to veggies, but definitely likes to eat a lot of meat and fat. despite being taiwanese, she hasnt grown up with the culture much.

breakfast: thick cut glazed bacon on toast topped with egg and green onion

lunch: taiwanese beef noodle soup baby!!!

dinner: steak (cooked rare) - likes gamier meats like venison, but any slab of well cooked meat is great!

dessert: likes it when lili makes shortcake and matcha desserts :)

snacks: jerky, pork rinds

j'kayah

a lot of asian cuisine (middle eastern, south)! his dad is ala mhigan, and he didn't get to know his mom.

breakfast: leftover roti and achar from last night

lunch: doner kebab stuffed in pita! this is actually his favorite food.

dinner: veal korma :) he's from thanalan so he's a fan of spice

dessert: he doesn't have too much of a sweet tooth so I think he likes things like... berries with a teeny bit of cream, and poached pears

snacks: tantuni

breakfast: fruit smoothie with some protein. gotta go fast!

lunch: grilled whole fish with lemon! this was the first dish her best friend/brother figure made for her :) this is her favorite food. i think she likes mackerel the best.

dinner: hot pot. there's just something very homey about cooking around a pot of broth with your friends and family. she's very sentimental!

dessert: donuts ^_^ shaved ice and baklava

snacks: dried squid and youtiao

closest to my palate, since i projected a lot of my taiwanese american-ness onto him teehee

breakfast: he often skips breakfast, not because he dislikes it or thinks it's useless, but he's just really busy. but when he gets the chance, he likes taiwanese beef rolls (braised beef rolled into a scallion pancake with cilantro and hoisin sauce)

lunch: he's on the go a lot, so it's likely a sandwich - probably banh mi!

dinner: taiwanese spaghetti - i think i established this as his favorite food a while back

dessert: HE HAS SUCH A SWEET TOOTH... does boba count? if not hes a big fan of strawberry flavored things, and cakes!

snacks: oamisua, pocky, taffy, shrimp chips!

lunch: white truffle flatbread (yeah, i know.)

BEHOLD, THE CREW OF THE CURSE OF THE ROSE DRAGON! aka how i spent about 10 hours getting all 4 of my deckhands to max loyalty and made my laptop overheat from a broken fan (it has still not been fixed i am on a Different Computer)

aka oops! my ship is entirely occupied by old men!

first we have ~me, bronze sea explorer and True Captain Sasha Lionheardt, celestial cartographer of the clan Stella Nautae, only the best ash warlock in the war seas~

then we have our navigator, McCoy the Keen. im gonna be honest i have no clue where he came from, he doesnt talk much but hes family. i think he used to be a mercenary or assassin or something when he first joined

next up is our merchant, Levy the Lone Wolf. hes really introverted so i decided to make him a merchant to work on his people skills. always a joy to talk to, even if he is an absolute coward on the dark sea (ignore my slouching i havent eaten in a bit ill be ok let me just eat some fish patty)

FISH PATTY, YOU HEARD ME RIGHT, BROUGHT TO YOU BY OUR CHEF (((and levy's husband))) MONTOYA THE WRATHFUL! he came here with levy and is a lot more outspoken so i decided hey lets channel that extra angry energy into MAKING! FOOD! hes wonderful at cooking too

last but not least is our enchanter, Horne the Warlock! he is. my dad. thats it :) he used to have a big backpack but then randomly decided he wanted to be a wizard so of course i fully supported his decision, he is my father after all, and also the nicest one here and if anything happened to him i would cover the skies in thick ash so nothing could grow :)

dream trip: ok im a really anxious traveller and have barely travelled in the last like 5+ years bc of that plus External Forces (covid etc), BUT. if i could without intense fear i would LOVE to do a big road trip across the east coast of the US because i would love to go to NY, nashville etc etc. also id love to go to canada one day :)

anything i want right now: @girlbloggerdotcom talked about wanting to make more friends at uni next year, and i relate to the lonliness at uni bigtime. i think what i really want (and ya its kinda down to me gulp) is to make progress with my mh, and start feeling more comfortable in my body. and i think that would rlly help me w lots of things im finding hard, like going back to uni. so ya

I js watched a broogli video n I got the idea to create my own backrooms level, cus it's fun n I wanna 🤷

Backrooms level 7810.

[Also known as, the glowing sea.]

The glowing sea is a class level (2). Safe, uninhabitable, stable.

Appearance:

The glowing sea is essentially a void of what looks to be outer space, in the distance you will be able to see stars similar to that of our own universe. You may even be able to identify some constellations if not a bit different.

When you get to this level you will find that you are practically standing on nothing, there is no floor if you look down, only more stars and the void.

The only thing peculiar about this level is if you look around you will be able to see numerous sea life.

Species of shark, schools of fish, and countless jellyfish and crustaceans, all in the following seem to be completely unaffected by their surroundings and look as if they're a figment of your imagination, blurry and translucent.

Despite no other sources of light around other than the stars you are able to see everything around you clearly as if there was light.

The glowing ocean is most likely infinite, no traveler has ever reached the end if there is one. But it is not impossible to navigate if you recognise the stars around you.

It is relatively safe here if you know how to handle the sea life and exit the level, it is however impossible to stay here for long, since there is absolutely no food, and, the sea life is absolutely inedible, any and all weapons will phase through the creatures and therefore rendering it impossible.

Entities:

The aforementioned sea life are called phishes due to them being able to phase through objects.

They are relatively safe to be around if you avoid making too much noise and moving too much. They appear exclusively in this level.

It is unknown how they appear and what they eat, it is rumoured to be the stars but most likely false.

The fish like phishes aswell as the crustacean,and jellyfish phishes are in the harmless category. However the shark, orca, whale, and Dolphin phishes are more likely to try and come after you.

To avoid this, you must stay as quiet as possible and refrain from screaming and shouting too much. Walk as slow and appear as big as you can to discourage any bigger predators trying to harm you.

And if you are already being hunted here is what you should do, if you want to get out.

For the shark phishes, maintain eye contact and stay in one place, do not try and run away, it will only further encourage it. Instead, if it keeps approaching you, hold it by its snout and place a hand on its belly, and flip that mofo upside down!!! If you did it correctly, it should leave you alone.

For the orca phishes, however, they are much more dangerous and harder to deal with. they have extremely bad sight though, so take advantage of this and make as much noise in another direction. whether it be throwing an object or having your companion do it for you.

If the whale is a aggressive species, goodluck my guy, same thing as the orca though.

The dolphin phishes are much more smarter and agile. If anything just try and give it a hard, sucker punch in the snout, or gills.

Exits and entrances:

To enter this level you can find a glowing figurine resembling fish surrounding a star, and go to any space or ocean resembling levels, and throw it as far as you can. You will promptly white out and wake up on level 7810.

To exit you could get stung by a glowing, yellow, jellyfish. Or, you could walk as close as you can to a star and white out again. You will end up in a space or ocean related level.

Hehehahe silly shark, you can't go to space!!

Sulfur stopped by recently. Did you know that it likes crabs? I wonder if ink just finds crabs fascinating or if ink likes to eat crabs. I'm not a big fan of sea food, but I know many people who do. Sulfur's also questioning its gender. It's trying to figure out if it's agender or cis. That's a difficult thing to figure out! I'm in a similar boat (trans guy, or nonbinary for me). I wish Sulfur luck in figuring out inks gender! Anyway, I hope Sulfur has a good day, it sees a cool crab (or learns a cool fact about them if that's not possible), and ink takes care of inkself!

in january i played my spotify playlist of 2000s pop and rnb,, brain went "haha i will draw silly usuk art... them as 90s/00s boybands, arthur as blue and alfred as bsb :) might watch the mv again just to see silly 00s fashion :)"

except i ended up clicking westlife mvs again n again 💀 bc they're My fav of the 00s boybands despite only knowing like 5 songs. i'm too young to remember much back then.

after looping the same few songs i wanted sth new so......... i clicked on their old and new (post break) mvs. fell down the rabbit hole 🧍🤸 and. idk what kinda coincidence is this... found out they're gonna tour here, in 3 provinces, and my city is included :). last quarter 2022 they've done 3 dates too. what's better is it's much cheaper than other cities bc it's a no-class 2 days festival with lots other musicians

here's the internal debate lol, i never went into a concert before 🧎. super loud music is v uncomfy to me ntm the potential of crowd pushing, im short and won't see a thing, can't drive, commuting at night scary, but what are the chances of Westlife™ doing a gig in my city and tickets are only $40???

i didn't plan to go, jst streamed dozens of their songs but with Longing.

D-2 concert, i saw tickets resale @ $20 from ppl who couldn't go, im 👁️👄👁️. so i texted my fav cousin if shes interested (thought she might like westlife... turns out she is a fan). she said "that's a short notice u r kinda crazy but let's go i will drive no worry".

fast forward day 1 went well the artists exceed my expectations 👌 but the struggle is at day 2 where westlife is hshsjss. long before their turn to play, we bought food and thought we still could get barricade,,, but no. the main stage is alrd crowded.

then the drama 👺 a group of girls basically harassed us verbally and by pushing bc we tried to chill n don't let them go in front of us. FINALLY before westlife turn, thank god idk where they went but we're just few meters away from barricade 🤘😔 except for some groups most of the crowd are chill. got near but still can't see them bc we're short. pain from tiptoeing 💀. also the small annoyance that only us who knew & sang the lyrics to their newer/less Hit songs but ppl who only knew 2 songs r at the front wkwkwk.

but it's ok bc westlife was GREATTTTT..... their vocals,, esp. mark high notes 👌🥲. Nostalgia power ndndjsks. they started with starlight and ended with you raise me up, total of like 14 songs?? and one short acoustic exclusive to this date. that's a Lot. just minus a few songs compared to the stadium date in previous city but 10 times cheaper. 🛐🛐

they're not That big worldwide but big in SEA... we rarely gets 'world tour' from most artists. locals joked they should rent house here by how often they come 😭 ofc they in turn said our support kept the band alive. im 🧍

bts could've done this bc SEA contributed a ton of stream and socmed engagement but ig hybe preferred quick western cash 💔 hybe kacang lupa kulit

Hi, im Yarn (he/they transmasc, bi/ace 28) i used to have a website where i posted photos and paintings from my travels, but the hosting got zapped, soo.... blogging like this seems easier anyways.

I travel around with my pokemon, we do odd jobs mostly. I like having my freedom to go where i want and see stuff and try new things, and delicious food! I used to try tackling gym circuts, but me and my team have come to realize hardcore battling isnt really for us. Farming ends up being most of what we do, but I've also gone on research trips as backup muscle, and the designated camp chef xP. My parents (and brother) are botanists so I end up going with their colleagues a lot. (I dont know anything about plants or plant pokemon so do not ask me!)

I like learning about mythology and history. But i also love cooking, (for humans and pokemon) painting and drawing, and tea.

I grew up in Azelea Town in Johto, but did a lot of my early pokemon journey in Hoenn. Right now I'm helping out at an inn in Dewford (mostly cleaning some kitchen help and bartending xD). But when it warms up a bit I think we're gonna go to Sinnoh. Its been a while since I've been there, and im dieing to see Mt Cornet again, but I am NOT going there in the winter.

Canopus - (Flygon) He was the first pokemon I caught on my own. And we've been training and traveling together ever since. When I was young i had ambitions of being a dragon tamer, and trapinch/vibraina/flygon gets are a good line to start with (at least acording to my cousin and her family don't complain to me if you disagree). He's really chill and calm, and honestly isnt much of a fan of fighting, which ended up being true for me as well haha.

Nari - (Ampharos) The farm I grew up near let me have one of the mareep after my first ever summer working there. They've been my treasured partner ever since. He's a total goof.

Lucy - (Trubbish) This is the only pokemon I've ever gotten from a fancy breeder, but just !!! She's the most precious darling girl! I've seriously never seen anything cuter!!! She's always at my side when I'm cooking, she’s an amazing taste tester and extreamly helpful with clean up.

Sparker - (Charmeleon) My cousin's charizard ended up with some eggs... and she knew I had always wanted a charizard, so she had me come pick one up. He's grown up so fast its honestly hard to belive. He's still stuck in his little shit phase though. He likes showing off for Canopus.

Larry - (Relicanth) met while helping on a fishing boat in southern hoenn. I love him dearly, but he's not happy outside the hoenn oceans, so i mostly hang out with him when I'm in hoenn and need to surf around.

Catasetum - (Leafeon) Technically my brother is her proper trainer, that's why she's named like that. But he's suck at home and she likes traveling, so she's coming with me ✌

Others:

Sable - (Umbreon) He's with my brother, I really miss him :< but he's helping look after my nephew and their family eevee.

Bluebell - (Gastrodon) They're an east sea varient. And soooo soft. When I'm not hanging with Larry I usually have them with me, otherwise they help with pest control in my mom's garden.

Periwinkle - (Altaria) They actually like battling, so mostly they hang out in Blackthorn with my cousin, but if I'm going on a trip where i might actually have to do some fighting I'll take them along.

Hopper - (Sableye) They're my funny little guy.

Nanasaur - (Tropius) He's kinda my dad's but also has traveled with me a lot. Especially before Canopus was fully evolved. He deffinatly has big dad energy.

🍿 absolutely a library kid i used to play games on the computer and listen to music on YouTube with those big clunky headphones. id go to their teen time events and learn how to crochet or write haikus and whatnot. id play truth or dare with my friends on the staircase. i would read books. it was my safe space and i miss it.

🍰 i like dessert scents, like cinnamon or vanilla or pumpkin and stuff. fruity smells piss me off.

🍋 right now the walls are entirely covered in my own art and photography, band posters ive collected from shows, art from my friends and that ive collected along the way, i have a trash wall that i hang up trinkets icome across, i have a black and white wall full of ink illustrations from an old german gamebook i found outside. my room is so cool. ive also got spray painted cardboard up, a clown collection on my shelf, lots of plushies and trinkets, oddities like bones and sheep eyes, art projects scattered everywhere. my room is insane just like me <3

🥞 i love breakfast so much. it’s the bestest meal that you can eat anytime. especially a french toast breakfast with sausage and syrup. sausage is delicious im sorry to aminals. bagels are another safe food i eat constantly, everything seasoned with philadelphia cream cheese or avocado with salt and pepper. an egg if im feeling spicy. also shout out to breakfast burritos bc those are delicious and i don’t eat enough.

this man is so excited to be at his first twitchcon & being able to hang out with all his best friends makes it a hundred times better

when he isn’t at a panel or doing meet & greets, he’s dragging you everywhere to see the whole convention center (clingyinnit)

he is just so at awe despite this not being his first convention to attend

you’d be surprised he gets tired pretty quickly & stops over to the partner lounge

you both rest for a bit against a wall in a pretty packed hallway despite it being an exclusive area to twitch partners

every time a famous streamer walks by he will yell it out and record it then vlog your reaction, even if they’re surrounded with bodyguards & trying to get to another place quickly

he’d zoom in his camera to their face at a horrible angle and be like

“oh my god it is THE ninja. ninja famous fortnite player, HELLO.”

but he gets completely ignored

then the camera pans out to you, still really zoomed in that the capture is blurry

tommy is so confused, forgetting the bit ninja did on his twitter where he renamed himself ‘ninjainnit’ for a split second

okay tommy isn’t that athletic but he will chase you and the rest of your group down a hallway if he had to

he’d probably find a toy gun from the artist alley/seller booths and shoot you and wilbur with it

but if tommy stumbles across any of the dream team, it’s about to be minecraft manhunt but irl

and he will def play his stream music while walking or smth when he’s bored (or trying to jump dream & sapnap)

oh my god,, now thinking about it he’s probably the one to open like random doors of empty rooms and steal stuff while you film him

like he will take a random empty glass, a bunch of pens, a freebie t-shirt, everything he sees he takes with him and you’re just panic

“tommy we’re literally not supposed to be here, and i’m stuck here filming you. it’s surely a felony in action”

“well, it’s their fault for leaving the doors open! plus this is great content. who’s the dirty crime boy now, HM?”

you’d tell wilbur about this and he’d scold tommy and threaten him with the same pen tommy stole

tommy probably would also drag you some weird event happening outside twitchcon along with tubbo and ranboo

“pokimane is giving out free pizza to everyone if we go to this one restaurant down the street!”

“we are literally gonna get bombarded. have you forgot you’re like three of twitch’s top streamers? i’d rather pay for all of our meals than try getting free pizza from pokimane against all her other fans”

“DEAL! let’s go to five guys then!”

you unfortunately end up paying for all 3 of their meals and picking on their food instead of buying your own

even with all of them making way more money than you, they still happen to be cheapskates

OR tommy will end up getting a burrito from a taco truck, immediately making a mess of himself, then proceed to complain how messy the food is to eat despite knowing what he was getting himself into before even ordering

“shit my clothes are all ruined now!”

“well that’s your fault you got a burrito, as if it’s your first time having one”

“i mean the food is good, i’m not complaining about that but i don’t think it’s that good that it’s worth costing my red and white shirt, im just saying”

same with tommy, he is so excited

i don’t know why but i imagine him overpacking his suitcase and you making fun of him for it

anyway tubbo has his irl backpack on and streaming EVERYTHING

probably spends a lot of time at a bunch of different booths, checking out all the pointless gadgets he could buy for his stream

you’re the one to stop him from doing so

“TUBBO IT’S LITERALLY OVER TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, STOP. DONT GET IT.”

“WHY NOT?? IT WILL BE COOL FOR MY STREAM AND I WILL USE IT EVERYDAY”

“okay theoretically speaking, how the hell are you going to even bring it home? which—let me remind you—is across the country for you and not to mention the giant ocean separating america and the uk”

“i hate to break it to you tubbo but there is no way you can get free shipping on a FIVE FOOT PC. it’s nearly as tall as you! what are you even gonna do on it, hack the government???”

the arguments are all lighthearted but eventually you give in and let him splurge over a thousand dollars in different devices he claimed he “needed”

i could honestly see him visiting the beaches in san diego and going for a swim or even renting out a boat to use for a bit :D

also he’d bring benson along with him and taking a bunch of scenic photos with it in them

i have a feeling he’s the type to schedule a spontaneous meet & greet because he was bored & gets in trouble for causing a mob in a certain part of the convention

he’s like “oh god, i did not expect this many of the bois to show up AHAHAH oops”

tubbo would def pull a lilypichu and bring his melodica or ukulele and play themes while following random people/cosplayers

at the end of the day, you’d find his bag just stuffed with crap he either got for free or bought in the convention

“how did you get all that stuff? i was with you all day??? and it’s only the first day of the convention, hello?? it looks like you’ve been collecting as if twitchcon has went on for a week already!”

“HA i have my ways, do not underestimate my powers”

lani would probably tag along for the vacation honestly

like whenever someone comes up to her giving her gifts/asking for pics, you and tubbo would tease her about how famous she is

and i dunno but something about tubbo just gives me this amusement park energy and going to legoland and spending the whole day there since it’s near by and because he can

he is like a beacon in a sea of people, that’s it .

i honestly just see him causing as much chaos as the other two

ranboo would probably like take someone’s camera whether if they’re streaming or if it’s for the vlog, hold it up high, and point the camera directly above someone’s face

it did not matter how tall you were and if you had platform shoes on, ranboo was a skyscraper next to you

“HAHAH this is how i see you from this height, this is funny”

then he shows you the vid of the recording of him getting like an aerial view of your face

like you see your nose and all your pores and just overall a bad angle to be captured in

“OH GOD RANBOO DELETE THAT, ITS HORRIFIC”

i dunno why but i feel like he’d jump scare every person that was cosplaying as his minecraft character from behind for some reason

after introductions the presenter is like “okay ranboo, you will be given a random meme prompt above your head you won’t be able to see until after and you will have to make a random face to compliment it!”

and you can just tell by his facial expression he’s just thinking

you’d laugh at him the whole time, even after he’s off the stage and finished with that small fiasco

honestly with wilbur it’s slightly more chill

he already experienced twitchcon before so he’s just glad to see his friends again after so long

insists that you explore the convention yourself rather than sticking with him the whole time but you do anyway!

wilbur would probably have like a mini concert and gets you front row seats with the rest of the group

but that doesn’t mean before it that you’re not helping him set up

“y/n please– my amp is so heavy, i can carry it”

“don’t worry! i’m strong” :D

and musically talented or not, he will probably bring you and the rest of his friends up to stage to just vibe and sing a bunch of random acoustic songs

it’s not like some big concert hall stage,, i imagine more like a casual thing w a slightly higher platform from the ground yk?

after spending a long day at the convention he’d also bring everyone across the city to la jolla or smth !

you’d all probably have dinner there and chill, watching the pretty sunset

“this place is really pretty but oh my god im gonna lose my breath hiking up this stupid hill, please slow down”

and wilbur is like ??? because he’s completely fine with his long legs and everything

“just walk faster”

AHAHAH and for context traversing through la jolla by walking around the town is a bit hard since it’s basically on a bunch of hills (walking up from the beach to a restaurant actually is actually sm work, trust me ive been there)

wilbur honestly doesn’t spend that much time in the actual convention center, he’s probably sightseeing a bit of san diego with you instead

but i could imagine him staying at the tabletop games area playing dnd or smth

“c’mon y/n, come join!”

“uhh i’m not sure, i’m not the best at roleplay and...”

“it’s fine don’t worry!”

he’d pull you in with him and end up enjoying yourself even if it was your first time

and if you’re of age, you’d be wilbur’s +1 at the twitch partner party and make sure mans doesn’t too drunk

if it’s not too late in the night, you two would chill at the beach after the party

it’s just a nice, calming moment after all the loud music mixed with hundreds of conversations at the party

also something about like taking polaroids pictures with wilbur just seems to go hand in hand for me

i’m not sure why but you will be taking lots of pics with wilbur for sure (not necessarily you both in the photo, but of sceneries as well while you’re together!)

literally a dad on vacation with his children, it doesn’t matter how old you are

need sunscreen? surprisingly has it

want a snack? probably has a small granola bar somewhere in his bag

but same with wilbur, he’s more chill like this isn’t his first time at twitchcon

omg he’d def bring you to the artist alley and just buy a bunch of fanart and stuff tho

and he’s like rushing to that artist’s stall to buy a poster or print

idk why but phil seems like the person to know where he’s going all over the convention center

you just have trouble reading it bc all the signs seem to be misleading to you

nothing really crazy screams out to me of what phil would do at twitchcon besides like go to a few events, spend a bunch of time w his friends, etc

HOWEVER i could see him wasting a lot of his time at the gaming area and testing new games that are currently on the works of being developed

like “woah y/n, this vr game is sick, you should try it out!”

ngl i feel like phil would plan a visit to disneyland for everyone, like he gets the tickets and everything but once you’re at the park it’s free reign, y’all go everywhere with not much of a plan

the minors would try to cheap out phil and pay less than the others even though everyone else fully paid phil back and everything LMAO

ok but if he’s feeling nice, phil will buy everyone cotton candy/pretzels :D

and if you’re not hungry, he’d at least get you a mickey balloon

surprisingly techno is really calm despite this being like one of his first conventions

but when he finally settles in and gets comfortable, he’s showing the same energy

if you’re playfully yelling, he will yell back

however there’s still those awkward moments that are unavoidable

idk why but something about him makes me think that if you feel tired and want to go back to your hotel room, he’d go with you just to make sure you get there safe

he probably also needs a break from being around everyone else for a moment too LMAO

i could also see him searching far and wide in the artist alley for fanart of himself AHAHAH

walking around with him in the convention consists of someone yelling “BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD” every 5 minutes but you don’t really mind

something about him makes me think he’ll be forced into playing minecraft twitch rivals along with the rest of sbi or smth

and he’s like “oh god, i’m going to be on stage? and people will see my face while i play minecraft?”

“i’m sure it will be fun!”

“i mean i like being competitive and feeding my ego, but i’m not that desperate.. well”

do i imagine techno getting easily tired of being surrounded by a bunch of people and just going back to his hotel room with phil and watching some anime with him? yes

and will you watch even if you have no idea what’s going on? also yes

i feel like after a while of you guys hanging out in techno’s room, the rest of the gang will just slowly join you guys

like eventually everyone is there; you, techno, phil, wilbur, niki, tommy, tubbo, ranboo, etc

and techno is like “wha– where did you guys come from?” because his room is basically packed

and niki could be like “oh we can go if you want!”

then techno just insists that she’s fine “but who let the child get in?” clearly implying tommy’s presence

“OI!!”

eventually techno gives in with the company and someone gets a bunch of board games to play from the front desk

lots of yelling and laughing for sure

when it becomes late at night, techno is like half conscious, you’re on your phone, wilbur is staring out the window & enjoying the night view, tommy is passed out on the couch from tiredness, tubbo & ranboo is still wide awake quietly talking, and phil & niki are helping clean up the giant mess

eventually everyone brings themselves to go back to their own room except tommy who won’t budge

you give techno a look and he immediately understands what you were thinking

he rushes to the bathroom to fill up two cups with ice cold water and handed one to you

“on three?”

“okay.. one”

“two”

“three!”

then both of you pour the water on the poor child’s face

he jolts awake and saying a string of curses

“what the fuck techno? y/n too?”

“get out” is the only think techno says that before tommy rushes out with his stuff and you leave right after

a/n: i honestly can’t wait until conventions open up again though,, phil and ranboo were talking about vidcon earlier and omg.

also i kinda want to take in tommy requests but i’m not sure??? it would be both cc! and c! x gn!reader for sure tho. i love writing him to bits but who knows, maybe i’ll only stick to my ideas,, or not. send in a tommy x reader request, might do it, might not, but he’s my fav cc if you can’t tell so! :D (i dunno if i will keep it strictly platonic, but unrequited crushes and stuff are fun to write hehe,,)
