Harry raised his brow as Aaron glared at him from the other side of the room, the other teen had been more aggressive at Harry ever since he returned from the Sherwood forest fair.

Harry sighed, ignoring the glare and going back to his notes for algebra.

“Hello~” a voice purred suddenly from beside him, Harry mentally frowned and slowly looked up, his shoulders dropping and a glare settling.

Lila had decided it was a good idea to sit next to him and try to flirt. She fluttered her eyes and trailed her fingertips across the table counter, licking her lips flirtatiously “I haven’t seen you around before? I would know if such a handsome guy like you had been around”

Harry let out a dark chuckle, the green-eyed girl faltering for a moment, eyes widening as Harry gave a sharp grin and a harsh glare. “too bad I know who yeh are huh? Lie-la~”

Lila suddenly stood, tears starting to pour from her eyes “I knew it! Erza and (y/n) lied to you! They-they abused-“ Harry let out a snarl, standing suddenly, making Lila squeak as Harry towered over her. She hadn't expected for harry to be as imposing as he was.

“I'm still here? Yes Lila, I'm not as weak as you thought I was” Erza snapped, standing up and cutting off Lila by a few inches “now what do you want?”

“well I” Lila stuttered, eyes running up and down Erza’s body “I was wondering if you wanted to talk?”

“she” Uma interrupted her, standing from the table and walking over to Erza, tossing her arm around her waist “is going to be spending time with her girl, no time for you sweetheart” Uma purred, knowing Erza’s cheeks were now pink.

“you?” Lilas lip curled in disgust “why would she with someone….like you?”

Uma let out a dangerous chuckle, Harry's insane laughter popping in. Lila's eyes went wide as she finally noticed the rest of you, including the bright, eyed harry and Harriet staring at her, sharp smirks on their faces “yeh never wan’ ta anger a sea witch lassie, they aren’t ta be trifled with”

Lila's eyes snapped back to Uma, taking a step back from the glowering sea witch. “you-you're the daughter-“

“daughter of Ursula~” Uma purred, giving Lila a low bow “ now, leave” Uma's necklace gave a low glowing pulse, sending Lila out the door and down the road, away from the group of friends. “good riddance” Uma huffed, tugging Erza back into a chair and leaning on her shoulder.

“she's a right off bitch” you muttered, holding your hand up to Uma for a high five “nicely done by the way Uma” Uma smirked and smacked her hand into yours.

“back to the original topic” Harriet sighed, setting down her iced coffee “study night? Where?”

“my room” you perked up, finishing off your caramel frappe and setting it on our leg “it’s the biggest and I have a lot of snacks already in my room”

“Alright, hoods room it is tomorrow night! Then after that video game!” Erza cheered, the rest of the group cheering with her.

“sounds good” Uma hummed.

“so for now, let's go to the arcade cuz im bored” you suggested, raising your brow at the others, Gil and Harry's eyes glinting with excitement at your suggestion.

Oh my god shes at it again, ramblin again

The other post mentioned about how toga feels like lov is the only place where she can be herself n that kinda tickled the switch for me cuz thats what a lot of people mention when they talk about how hawks should have joined lov. 'They would have accepted him as his real self.' The problem there of course being that hawkd real self, his very core is someone who wants to help people while lov accepts only those who work for their core goal aks destroying everything and building a better world specifically for themselves. So no, lov wouldnt accept Hawks for who he truely is and I dont really think they ever make a deal about accepting people for who they are at all.

We saw that before joining lov toga had a relativly normal life, she fit in at school, she was liked. The problem was that all of that was a result of her being forced to supress her urges instead of being taught a safe and healthy way to deal with them. Society really failed toga and its so sad to see because she does have an ability to be happy in regular life if only the people around her accepted her urges as something that needs a safe outlet and not something that needs to be supressed. Supression is such a clumsy coping mechanisam because eventually it will all boil to surface.

Im not sure where i was going with this but toga is still young. Shes a teen girl surrounded by grown men showing her where her path in life would lead. You are a monster we are monsters you will end up like us. Its really hard to look at yourself and compere yourself to other people and see that those most like you turn into monsters and to not be a monster it seems to be a requierment to completly supress a part of yourself. Toga very much might not see any other path for her and being with the league is just drilling that in. Its them vs us, we can never be ourselves in this word, we are miserable and you are like us so you'll grow up misreable to, better start crackin at it now.

I just, hm. Toga seems the most likely pick for redemption rn i fuckin teared up reading that post. She can still turn back, she can make her amends and bounce back and be a good person again. Uraraka, Tsu n Deku dont have to help her but i bet they would if they saw her doing her best to do better and to apologize for her crimes. They are kind people.

Also this is unlikely but i want her to meet shinsou. I feel like her having a friend with a 'villanous' quirk who is trying to be a hero and getting support for it would help her a lot to like, make her feel like she can do it, give her someone to compare herself to who is doing good so she has a reason to belive she can be good n happy too. I just think it would help a lot, cuz while ura tsu n deku are good kids n would help her if she made the first step they do all have pretty 'heroic' quirks so it might be hard for toga to relate to them on that level, like oh but they are p much genticaly predisposed to be heroes their quirks are 'good' and mine is 'bad' so i am bad. Idk we didnt see any hint that would support this happening but i do want it.

Toga is a normal girl, if you think about it. She’s capable of making friends and living the life of a typical teenager her own age, she desires friends and bonds and thinks highly of the bonds she has (as we saw with Twice and through the concern she’s expressed for other members of the league). However she just never learned how to handle her urges and now she has to choose living as herself, or hiding who she is forever (and she found it much easier to be herself even if she lost what she had beforehand).

The League was an illusion of what she thought she wanted, in the sense that they accepted her for how she is and didn’t ask her to hide herself. In fact, we even see her embrace that during her fight in the MLA arc and how she says clearly she wants to live as herself. However this current arc has shown us that Toga is finally facing the reality that living in such a way will end up having consequences and (at least from what I gather) she appears to be scared of that because she views her lust for blood as something she can’t control.

She was so scared that instead of seaking reassurance from the people she’s closest too, she saught out Uraraka instead. She knew the league would just tell her what she wanted to hear so she needed to hear it an answer from someone who she respects and who won’t lie to her. And she didn’t like the answer she recieved because it confirmed her fears, she’s going to be punished for who she is.

She’s between a rock and a hard place and she’s either going to double down and reject society and thus any potential help in the future (becoming just like Twice in that sense), or she could potentially get a redemption.

It would be cool for her to be able to be redeemed because it would be a tragic call back to Twice and his situation. When Twice was her age, he got a criminal record and continued to spiral. Having Toga, a person Twice really cared about, actually recieve the help he didn’t would be nice to see (and also show us that society does learn from it’s mistakes).

However it does depend on whether Toga even wants the heroes help after what they did (even if it was justified). She says herself on her rampage that she was tired and her reaction to the Uraraka’s answer was interesting (she didn’t get angry like I initially expected her too, she got upset instead). started recording with her father’s old vhs camera to distance herself from the world around her : it always seemed more beautiful through a lens , a sweeter place . by high school she was already putting together short films & constantly recording her friends , too . it was the best possible escape , a souvenir she could keep forever . hid her own feelings behind the words of characters she created in her head , every story to this day extremely personal .

could have easily been seen as the baby of the group , extremely dependent on her friends and always cautious of her surroundings . she was the one always tugging at someone’s sleeve , the designated driver , the person who spent most of the party playing with the host’s dog . she was cheerful and loyal , but clingy and often insecure , always needed reminding that she’s loved . always had a crush on someone , almost addicted to pining over someone who doesn’t care for her in the slightest . her sexuality was causing her a lot of confusion , too , often compensating her newfound attraction to women by trying way too hard to get attention from boys .

her parents absolutely hated her decision to study film , her mother going as far as burning all of viola’s tapes shortly before she left for college : years upon years of footage , only some of it stored digitally , gone in the blink of an eye . something broke in viola then and she realized something she’s been trying to avoid her entire life : that she hates her mother , that she never felt loved by her , that she survived years upon years of quiet abuse without ever saying a word . a hopeless romantic grew thicker skin overnight , came to los angeles without a smile on her face but with a drive , a smothering need to prove to her family that she’s worth so much more than they think .

cut all ties with her mother and hasn’t been back home since , sees her father and siblings sometimes when they’re in california for bussiness . film school was so good for her , though : she was finally free of her mother’s watchful eyes , didn’t have to meet her expectations . her student film ( still life ) got really good reviews and painted her as a director to watch . her debut ( honeysuckle ) premiered at sundance ( a lot of it thanks to her proffessors’ connections but shh ) and was very well received . her third movie is set to premiere later in the year !! and she’s excited !! she loves what she does !!

coming back home for the first time in six years is not a pleasant experience for viola , all her good memories of this place burned with the tapes , everything a reminder of how weak she used to be . she’s almost embarrassed of it , that tenderness she once had .

* with bella ,

everybody knew viola was completely in love with bella , perhaps even before viola realized it herself . still clueless , only wrapping her head around the fact she likes girls , viola was completely in awe of the other girl , who i imagine loved the attention , perhaps even flirted with her sometimes just to see her blush . they were never extremely close , but viola created an image of bella in her mind that she held onto for months .

The next week in ISS was horrible, but so was being grounded I mean it only reminded me of why I was in there.

I had yet to apologize to Carol, I haven’t talked to Nancy yet. When I showed up the day after I got into the fight with Carol the kids just looked at me, I knew they knew what happened, but honestly I didn’t care.

I didn’t want to be feared but if that happened then oh well. I felt bad I really did but on the other hand I didn’t, As far as the Nancy situation was concerned I would just give her some apology even though I didn’t do anything wrong.

The apology was bound to happen. I mean Johnathan had been hanging out with Nancy while I was stuck in school jail.

Apparently Steve had broken Jonathan's camera a while back but he didn’t say anything cause if he did Steve would have gotten his ass kicked.

That’s the main problem with the three Jack asses of Hawkins high was they thought they were untouchable, but now Carol knows she’s isn’t, I’m pretty sure Tommy does too.

Steve that’s a different story, something about him just made me softer on him. I don’t know if it was his lack of affection from his parents or these girls getting to him but for some reason i couldn't stay mad at steve harrington.

After school I saw Nancy standing near Steve and them, that's when I saw Carol's nose it was swollen and bruised. I honestly felt bad I swallowed my pride then walked over. As soon as they saw me Tommy stood in front of Carol.

“That's far enough Tyson.”

I put my arms up looking at them smiling at the sudden nickname.

“I didn't come to fight, I came to apologize.”

When I said that they all looked dumbfounded, even Nancy, Tommy moved just so I could see her face just seeing it up close shot pride through my veins but I couldn't gloat. I was better than that.

“Carol, I'm sorry I hit you. I acted out of anger and not with logic so I sincerely apologize, we aren't friends but I hope we’ve both learned a lesson.”

She didn’t say anything back to me, but I mean what could she say?

I looked at her then at Nancy.

“Nancy, can I please talk to you?”

She looked hesitant for a second but nodded, one down one to go.

“Can we talk privately please?”

She nodded, I turned around to walk over to my car. I saw Jonathan drive by, I smiled while he drove away. When I turned around Nancy was right there looking at me.

“So nancy i know you heard what happened but that wasn't what happened-.”

“Oh really so enlighten me on what happened.”

I felt myself getting irritated already but I had to remind myself that she had every right to be upset, if I was in her position I'd be pissed too.

“Nancy when we were at the party I went to use the bathroom so steve showed me where it was then he started to talk to me then boom he kissed me, I pushed him off me but I guess carol saw it and she twisted it to make me look bad nancy you have to believe me i wouldn't do that to you.”

She looked at me. I knew her mind was going a mile a minute but soon her relaxed face turned stiff, her eyes narrowed lips going into a thin line.

“He wouldn't do that to me sara im sorry but I don't believe you.”

I scoffed putting my arms at my side, frustration quickly growing inside me at her basically calling me a liar.

“Nancy I wouldn’t make that up, he's literally done that to dozens of girls.”

She shook her head at me.

“Sara that's where you’re wrong he's changed so like I said he wouldn’t do that to me I thought i had a good friend but obviously i was wrong.”

I looked at her just flabbergasted; it was obvious no one was going to vouch for me.

“Nancy, are you kidding me? What happened to Laurie? Amy? Or Becky? What happened to all the other girls he's been with huh? Nancy you're going to end up just like them.”

She looked at me then the next thing I knew I felt my cheek burn, I looked at her holding my cheek.

“Nancy what the fuck!”

She looked at me.

“The difference between you and I sara is I don’t have to throw myself at guys to get them, if you were dating someone and I knew it I wouldn’t have ever kissed them or even thought of them in that way.”

“Nancy you know what I’m sorry okay forgive me or don’t I don’t care but let me tell you something. You ever and I mean ever hit me again I’ll give you what I gave Carol.”

She looked at me then walked away. I got in my car, drove off not looking back. When I got home I walked inside seeing Jonathan sitting there watching tv.

“I don’t want you to go anywhere near her or her flock of idiots”

Jonathan looked at me, cocking a brow, turning off the tv.

“Hang out with who?”

I took a deep breath before I snapped on him. He didn't deserve the anger they caused.

“Nancy fucking wheeler and her crew of dipshits.”

He looked at me like he didn’t comprehend what I was saying.

“Okay sara first of all you can’t tell me who to hang out with especially since you hang out with Steve, Nancy is a way better human being than Steve.”

I looked at him, letting out an exhausted laugh.

“Are you kidding me Jonathan Steve and I are only friends, I see the way you look at wheeler, you’re asking for trouble.”

He stood up, with the look on his face I knew I hit a nerve.

“You don’t know shit sara you’re just mad because maybe there’s a chance she might like me back, Steve doesn’t even consider you one of his friends.”

I’m not going to lie, his comment hurt, I knew it was true I wasn’t one of Steve's casual friends, but that doesn’t mean Jonathan could rub it in.

“I’m not mad at all Johnathan but If you’re going to hang out with her then don’t bring her around me.”

He looked at me, his face reddening the more I spoke.

“Okay that’s fine Sara just know you made this decision not me.”

I looked at him as he walked down the hallway to his room.

“What do you mean I made this decision?”

He ignored me slamming the door right in my face.

I kicked his door then walked to my room slamming my door shut, I walked over to my record player turning on whatever record I had on. I turned it up, locked my door, and sat on my bed.

I put my knees together wrapping my arms around them, buried my face into them and just let the dam break. I wasn’t crying over nancy I wasn’t crying over Steve and I definitely wasn’t crying over Jonathan.

I was crying over everything, the few weeks of my life was garbage, I had no one to talk to now. With my mom always working I was completely and utterly alone.

I was hurt, I felt abandoned and I had no one to blame but myself. I caused all of this, I made all of them hurt, I drove my twin away, I knew I fucked up, but I was too hurt to care.

The walls I broke down were coming back up, I knew what the Inedible was. I was going back to the cold Sara, I couldn’t care any less.

Everyone thought I was cold before, but they have no clue. I tried to be nice and a lady like my mother taught me but it was time to show them the real Sara Byers

No matter who everyone wants me to be, I'm always going to be this hurt little girl who let Steve Harrington hurt her beyond fixing.

I was a shattered girl who pretended a huge weight loss would fix my problem, I hid behind this facade of being someone who didn’t care but in all reality I care, but not anymore.

(psych anon again sorry i fell asleep before i could answer) wow, schooling for psychologists in perú sounds a LOT more efficient than the usa, where i live. i wish usa colleges could learn from yours!! also, i was that anon that asked for advice in that first post lol i totally forgot i already asked you!! i asked that when i first started following you 😭❤️ actually a couple days ago i was trying to find that post again so thank you for finding it!!! it’s definitely helped me these past few semesters. also, i never thought about using a fictional character to motivate me to research, that’s SO SO smart. I’m actually working on a research paper rn (the effect of corporal punishment on children) so your helpful advice is coming at the perfect time 😭 ok last thing (sorry for rambling!), if you don’t mind me asking what did you do when you worked at the school? it’s pretty cool that experience impacted you so much :’) thank you so much again!!!

omg i’m so honored to know you’ve following be since i started this blog!! 🥺 and i’m happy my advice about relating it to a character helped you <3 and ever be sorry for rambling i love answering questions about psych because even though covid left me without a job (</3) i still love it dearly.

about your research paper, omg that topic is so important because people still insist on using corporal punishment on kids, like it doesn’t actually damage them emotionally. i think they base their ideas in operant conditioning, because it works on animals. but people are so so so much more complex than that! it’s so bad you actually normalize that behaviour and when you become an adult and someone is physically abusive to you it doesn’t feel as bad because it feels like home, even though you don’t consciously think so. your brain just thinks “hey my parents love me, so sometimes they hurt me out of love”, and you end up thinking love is supposed to hurt sometimes. but since it’s so normalized people repeat the same patterns with their own kids :(

well i worked at a school with children from 6 to 16! my job was primarily emotional support. for kids between 6 as 11, it wa mostly calming them down when they were acting up at school and keeping a record in case it was repetitve. i would have to call the parents to talk to them so they could help out so we chould change the kid’s behaviour (like insulting their classmates or getting into fights, that sort of thing). we also planned out fun workshops! for little kids we had self esteem workshops, attention and concentration workshops, etc. for the older kids we had an introduction to sexuality workshop, mostly to teach about body changes and stuff. then, with the other group age, 12-16, it was way more fun because they could ask their teachers to be excused from class if they weren’t feeling wrong, so they freely came to look for me when they needed to talk something out. it was... a lot heavier, because i had to deal with issues such as harassment, kids scared to come out to their parents, and even once a lovely student i had was beaten by her mom. she called the cops but their family was pressing on her to drop the charges, so she was feeling very upset about the whole situation. we also did some workshops for them, about sexuality, self esteem, social skills, study techniques, etc. i also have to keep a record of certain students that had been presenting problems. even i stopped working there on december, once one of them got my number and texted me because he was feeling sad <3 teens are very very observant, and they don’t just trust you from the start, but if you’re honest with them and don’t treat them as kids, they will come to you for anything.

for example, there was another psychologist that was like “kids... if someone bullies you, you have to say ‘hey mate! bullying isn’t cool!’ and i- .... yeah, imagine telling a 15 year old that :| i told them in case they were getting harassed they had to learn to defend themselves. not by hurting them back physically or verbally, but they SHOULD call them out, tell them ‘hey, what’s your problem?’ and if they saw someone else getting harassed, they had to intervene, because watching someone getting bullied and staying silent isn’t good either. i also told them if they were too afraid to say something they could always tell me if they saw anyone getting bullied and i would do something about it without ratting them out <3 on my last day i got so so so many hugs from them, i miss them a lot :’)

He and the reader were rivals as kids, an odd friendship forming. Him, a rebel kid with a bad attitude, and you a shy little thing who usually picks grass from the ballfield. When the two of you start to do pokemon battles after school, it's a way to escape from both of your home lives, whatever yours may be is up to you, but we all know about Guzma's shitty dad.

The kinship and satisfaction of victory or even loss was a welcome distraction from their daily lives. The thrill of battle was amazing, especially when it's with your one and only best friend. The two of you often hang around the swings, and you two trade lunches, and yeah he can be pushy, and you a little scared, but there's nobody else you'd rather be with.

However, your dad is a scientist, and a rather important one, it seems, and he accepted a job in another region, forcing you away from your bff. The two of you become heartbroken, and while Guzma descends into a thuggish life of a Team leader with resentful feelings mixed with lonely thoughts, you break through the pain as best you can and find yourself a career in entertainment. Specifically singing, it lets you escape in a different type of way, and performing with your pokemon is just so special to you. However, your heart still hurts, leaving your only friend. You never forgot him, even after all these years. Every fight, every pokebattle, it's never quite like one with him.

Eventually, when things die down in your region (things that would align with the game specific to the region), you return to Alola, and it seems things have happened there too... You end up finding your friend in utter disarray (post-USUM, btw), and the two of you almost pick up where you left off-- For only a moment. Standing close, hand holding tight, afraid the other would let go, desperate stares..

I definitely feel like Guzma would be angry. He would say some mean shit, talking about how you had left him and things had only gotten worse, and that you broke his heart. This for sure has got Plums thinking yall are exes or something, cuz she's on high alert here.

With you being you... Utterly passionate and lovable you, you listen. You're patient, that's the kind of lover you've always been. taking his hands, you say you're sorry. Your father was always the neglectful type, and he had neglected her friendship with him and everything it had stood for. If she could've left the unfamiliar region, she would've. But she wasn't even 10 yet, and neither was he.

The two of you go on a walk on the beach at dusk, and you missed the Alolan sunset and it's warmth. Basking in it, you smiled lovingly, something Guzma couldn't take his eyes off of. He'll find himself staring at your lips more often after that.

The love you two share will be slow growing, both of you afraid of what the other might want, or might not want, out of the other, and it's a fumbling mess of unknowingly requited emotion that's got the Skull Squad groaning.

BUT. BUT. When the two of you DO get together.......... Guzma is the sweetest, most loving guy EVER. He never wants to let you go. And he really hates your paparazzi too, btw. Also, you're a singer??? BRUh???? Fucking BET he has all ur songs on his playlist rn. He might even ask you to sing one of his favorite verses.

Of course, this man can rap too tho. He's an expert at beatboxing too, these things have you shocked. He's good. Record label good. You take note of it for the future and watch as he busts a rhyme about... Seeing your Jigglypuffs. God damn it. You can never get enough of this goofball.
