Long covid physio is starting tomorrow and I'm already so frustrated...... it's mostly going to be about how to manage PEMs and! I know!! How to!!! I just can't! Because I live alone and I need to eat, clean, and go places sometimes! I have already dropped every single hobby, I do most of my classes online, I physically can't reduce my exertion level further. It's just. I want to do things again. Today I had a 2 hours exam and I ended it with so much fatigue I was slurring my words and had to lay down. On Monday I had to use my extra hour of disabled time during another exam bc I got so weak halfway through I had to stop for 30~40min until I could turn the pages normally again and hold my head up. It's frustrating, and not all of it are the PEMs, so there's a chance that things will get better if my iron levels get higher or we identify what's actually been going on since this summer, but rn I'm frustrated. This sucks a lot!

Some nights ago, I struggled mentally with the changes of myself, due to this goddamn disease ME/CFS. It’s not just my life, which is standing still for more than one year now. It’s also my body and its sensations, which have changed drastically.

I’m yearning for the ability of feeling sensual…feeling like a woman again…without the pain and the struggles of overstimulation of my skin and brain. As a coping mechanism, I’m trying to express my emotions and my longing for lost abilities in my stories and in artwork from incredibly talented artists, I’ve found here on tumblr.

For my wish of feeling like a woman again - at least in form of a drawing - I looked for an artist with a special, sensual style…and I found it in @dranna!

My dear, I’m glad that I was bold enough to commission you for this beautiful piece of art. haiiiii i haven’t been on tumblr in 5ever. i feel like im only ever on here now when u update LMAO. speaking of LIVING for jay/yn. it’s AMAZE. i’m also every excited for the next update. but anywho how have you been! we haven’t spoke in forever i really can’t remember what my last update was abt so im just gonna skim thru things!

lowk this summer has been chill like any other. i went to a couple parties with my friends but then after that not much happened. there’s no guy updates bc unfortunately my life is no longer a wattpad story because that was very hard on my emotions 😅😅. i’ve lowk sworn off relationships for a while. obviously not completely but i don’t know recently a friend pointed out to me that whenever im in one its very tolling on my emotions and it’s not good so i don’t want that to happened again. i was also just not in a good place when arsal/cameron/marcus happened. REST ASSURED I AM BETTER NOW!!! #weUP

about my friends it’s going nice! we’re kinda doing our own thing since it’s the summer however one of them, m (i think i name drop too comfortably on here), recently started talking (ish) to a guy and she’s kinda obsessed with him. like it’s in a weird way in where she full blown cancelled plans that we made like 5 days prior just bc she had last minute plans with him so 😃😃😃😃 i’m so happy for her!! (NOT). i have to be honest there’s nothing wrong with him other than the fact he looks like he SNUCK ONTO EARTH WHEN THEY FIRST WALKED ON THE MOON. so 🤗🤗🤗🤗

i have been writing a LOT more recently. like not even just because it’s kpop i don’t know i get the inspiration to write and just open a google docs document. like for instance one of them the plot is mc breaks up with sunghoon and becomes closer to heeseung but plot twist! they’re in a band and there’s DRAMAA 🔥🔥🔥. and then another one is where mc and jake r ENEMIES bc her dog tried impregnating jake’s dog at a dog park 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. one of them is a sunghoon fic that’s heavily inspired by cmbyn (MINUS THE GROOMING) the other is a jay prank call au where he calls her bc he remembers his highschool sweetheart and she doesn’t even spare him a thought 🔥🔥🔥🔥. there’s a single dad sunghoon au somewhere in there. MY GOOGLE DOCS IS COOKING.

however i don’t think i could ever post it to tumblr. maybe one day when anyone is interested ill send in a little snippet of one of them 🤗 or dm u one of them and reveal my identity 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮. but i don’t know! i’ve tried writing on tumblr before but i was in highschool when i tried soooooo. i also think that im just too busy. maybe one day when im not so busy 🔥.

Even though Hopes was actually not very good compared to Houses; we gotta appreciate how it mixed up a lot of things and brought a breath of new life to the fandom and I am forever thankful for it even if the rest was not the best for many charcters, what do you think about it?

hi anon, thank you for the ask! oh boy where do i start-

first of all, you should know i LOVE musou games. i love smashing those buttons and defeating hundreds of eniemies. so, when they announced three hopes, i was THRILLED.

but maybe my expectations were a bit too high.

(spoilers about all the routes and endings)

i think the story is fine, but it could have been much better. i like shez, no, i love shez as a character: theyre silly but strong, determinated and yet loving. i like that theyre dubbed, i like their quirky and yet silly comments, i like how they flirt with some characters and yet are completely clueless, and the female VA did a WONDERFUL job. also, i simply ADORE arval. theyre so sassy i always laugh when arval says anything. the dynamic between shez and arval is written better than the one between byleth and sothis imo. (i love sothis too, but i feel her relationship with byleth needed more screentime)

but shez has a problem. (well, actually two.) the first problem is that shez isnt byleth. shez works well with the majority of the cast, but not with the three lords (a bit better with edelgard but still meh). shez's presence in the war doesnt make much sense as byleth's one did in three houses: the fucking school closed like two WEEKS after the lords met shez, they didnt have the time to bond and to know each others as byleth did (cuz, yk, byleth was their fucking teacher for a year). so, even if i like shez A LOT, their presence in fódlan war seems a bit off to me. i wish shez was in a different game overall.

the second, big problem of shez, is that we get to know almost nothing about their past. but this is a writing problem, not of the character themselves. i wanted to know who their mother was, why they are arval's vessel. RIP dlc i guess

about the three routes:

azure gleam: oh boy. OH BOY. the most disappointing of all. i LOVED the first part, for it explores much better all the kingdom's issues and we get more informations about the tragedy of duscur. but, "and then?". i'm gonna be honest dear anon: i dont remember much about the second part of azure gleam, just this big sense of disappointment. i'm actually re-playing it right now, so maybe i'll be back here in a few weeks. anyway, i do remember liking the fact you can save jeritza here tho, mercie deserves her little brother back!

scarlet blaze: the exact opposite of my thoughts about AG: scarlet blaze is a GREAT black eagles route. dont get me wrong, i liked crimson flower (its actually my second fav route of three houses), but being it the shortest one i always felt it was missing something, aka the fight against TWSITD (since, yk, we dont fight them in CF, they just defeat them offscreen in the ending cards. wtf). and in scarlet blaze we got it!!! also edelgard is better written in SB: shes still resolute and yet willing to *not* kill almost everyone on fódlan (i have Opinions about the ending of CF but another time). i never liked how edelgard sides with TWSITD in three houses, and im glad she didnt in SB. i mean, lets kill those bastards gurl!!!!!

golden wildfire: LMAO. ok i must admit i have a big problem: i dont like the golden deers (as a house; i like some of them alone, like marianne and lysithea), and claude is my least favourite lord, and i think verdant wind is the worst route of all three houses. so, GW was the last one i played. aaaaand. it is better than VW! i liked how claude allied with edelgard to defeat the church! i liked how claude is a little bastard plotter in there! as for AG, i think the first part of the route is much better than the second part (if you dont recruit byleth, judith dies in a dumb way just like rodrigue..... claude-routes-dont-copy-other-route's-things challenge). overall, i think GW is much better than VW, bc i think VW i just a weak copy of silver snow (sorry claude)

about the supports overall: some are cute and i like how we get supports between characters that didnt have ones in three houses, like bernadetta and marianne, or bernadetta and dimitri, or ashe and flayn.

and at last we've come to the elephant in the room.... byleth. how did they treat byleth in my opinion? short answer: terrible. long answer: terrible, because byleth doesnt have supports (except for shez and jeralt ikik). like WTF!!!!! give me supports with the lords, at least! let me see the byleth in this timeline, where they arent a professor, where their father isnt dead!!!! and why did they make byleth the ENEMY?? and we can recruit them too late in the game! GIVE ME MY PROFESSOR BACK-

the (one sided) rivalry between shez and byleth doesnt make any sense. "ohh the ashen demon killed my merc company >:[" says shez, just to admit five minutes later that they didnt really care about that company. and yes, okay, shez wants to prove everyone (themselves included) theyre stronger than byleth. thats fine. but here too, shez lets the matter drops too fast. "i will be stronger i will kill youuuuu- oh wait the lord wants you to join our side of the war. guess we're bestie now!". most of the time (before we actually recruit byleth) i get the feeling shez doesnt really give a fuck about the ashen demon, and this could have been okay, IF THEIR RIVALRY WASNT THE POINT OF ALL THE TRAILERS???????? their relationship is not explored well. shez's initial resentment doesnt make any sense bc THEY THEMSELVES say they really didnt care about the company. SO, if even the new protagonist, who was supposed to hate byleth, doesnt actually hate byleth, why make byleth the antagonist in the first place? why do we have to fight byleth? just to have a different fódlan story?¿?¿?

and i'll shut up about how they treated my dimileth in the game. you dont want to open this pandora's box dear anon.

so, the summary is: the gameplay is great bc i love musou games. the additions to the lore are pretty cool. i like that claude has his own original route that makes sense, and that edelgard got a much better written route. byleth deserved better. SHEZ! is fantastic, and arval is one of my fav character of all fódlan games. also i think arval and sothis should kiss

reading your liveblogs of fe3h is a breath of fresh air. i adore subversions (when executed nicely lmao) so seeing you discuss rhea-church not being evil is so great! (plus she's grown into a fave lately lol im a softie for tragic characters 😭) the whole og premise of the game is "what if your beloved student betrays you", so seeing so many ppl go "CF is the best! Edelgard's the hero!" is just 😞 (it doesnt help that the route structures it that way tho...)

Glad you had fun anon! Rhea’s really grown on me a lot lately too. I have a lot of Thoughts about the way 3H frames thing and why that does so much damage to fandom perceptions of Edelgard and Rhea.

In Rhea’s case, it’s because you spend the entirety of White Clouds being suspicious/wary of her, even when what she’s doing is... really not super unreasonable? e.g. The way Byleth refusing to hand over the Lance of Ruin plays out is designed to make you wary of Rhea (she’s angry you defied her :ooo), even though her responding negatively to you up and deciding to keep a dangerous relic she wants to return to its owners is perfectly understandable.

So, you spend all of White Clouds hyperconscious of Rhea, waiting for something to happen... and then you get one of two things.

(AM/SS/VW) She subverts your expectations and saves the Monastary, and then the timeskip immediately shoves Rhea off-screen so you don’t get any time to process what happened. If you’re playing AM, you care more about Dimitri, and if you’re playing VW... you’re wondering why Byleth cares about Rhea all of a sudden. Cool, you saved her.... nice...

(CF) Rhea loses her shit when you refuse to kill Edelgard and all of your concerns are validated. Never mind that Rhea wanting Edelgard dead and being furious you defy her is completely reasonable (mental breakdown notwithstanding), and never mind that Edelgard is the main villain at this point - you have been primed to trust Edelgard and distrust Rhea. The choice between Rhea and Edelgard isn’t based on who you agree with, it’s based on who you like more - and Rhea has not been set up to win. 

Rhea not being evil or untrustworthy has no adequate payoff for the buildup it was given. The only route it pays dramatic dividends is Crimson Flower - even though Edelgard’s speech as she slaughters Rhea is high octane nonsense, it feels like a hard-won victory. 

Rhea got screwed.

Crimson Flower on the other hand, plays its cards too close to its chest and suffers from one of the game’s major design limitations - Three Houses has a big problem of Telling, not Showing. Sylvain talks a big game about how he gets used by women, and we believe him, because why would he lie about that? ...but we never see it. Rodrigue is a bad parent. Holst... exists. We only learn people’s Sad Pasts because the characters tell us themselves. 

So when Edelgard starts telling us the “truth”, the game’s already conditioned us to accept this method of conveying information. The character is saying it, it must be true. Why would Edelgard lie to us? 

Doesn’t help that you need to play other routes to prove her wrong. Meanwhile, the game is already dismissing everything bad she did in White Clouds, because you chose villain route, why would you hold her to task for being the villain? You implicitly indicated that you support her methods by choosing her, so of course Byleth isn’t going to call her out. At this point, they’re a villain too. 

CF doesn’t make it obvious it’s villain route unless you read between the lines, though. The villains aren’t going to stand around talking about torture and being evil all day (unless they’re Hubert), they think they’re good and righteous. If you aren’t reading the text critically, you take this at face value.

One of my favourite parts of Crimson Flower is the Lady of Deceit chapter - ostensibly, it’s referring to Cornelia with this, but you would have no idea who Cornelia is or what kind of person she is without the context of Azure Moon behind her. Meanwhile, this chapter ends with Edelgard lying about the Church destroying one of the fortresses for her own benefit (when it was the Agarthans). 

I think not enough people understood that by choosing Edelgard, they chose to be a villain, and so have to take everything at face value because things don’t make sense otherwise, and the oddities have to be dismissed (this is what tripped me up on my first playthrough as well :I). Why on earth would they - Rhea suspicious, Edelgard your friend... so there must be a good reason for invading the Alliance, and killing Dimitri... right? They deserved it, right? These weren’t monstrous things to do, right?!

The writers really fucked this one up.

This is why I like having the Lions and the Wolves recruited for a CF playthrough. ...not because I think the Lions would join Edelgard or should be there, but because the uneasiness spreading in their ranks as time goes on helps cut through the BE’s pro-Edelgard rally. (The Wolves are great because Yuri and Hapi are not subtle about not wanting to be there). 

anyway 3H is a great case study in how to fuck up so badly the fanbase thinks your villain is the hero and a hero is The villain. I like that the devs can outright say CF is Conqueror route and Edelgard is a Red Emperor and be completely ignored. it’s amazing.

this is a character hate rant centered around cl/au/de f/e/3/h yes seriously so dont read if u like him lol

cl/aude be like "lol im so smart and cool and above all these stupid fodlan people and their stupid religion and customs lmao what a bunch of fucking idiots lol haha im the CEO of ending racism btw!"

his super 'smart' strategies are just flat out being a fucking asshole like his 'strategy' of getting information from byleth was to threaten to steal her dead fathers diary because he feels so fucking entitled to knowing everything. he unapologetically poisons people he manipulates people into doing whatever he wants hes so full of himself its nasty. people hail this character like hes the smartest and coolest and the only one with any 'sense' mr "cares about the living" like okay well actually you care more about your own ideals more than anyone else and you would actively fight in a war and watch your friends die for you only to surrender like a fucking coward.

i have tried so fucking hard to like this character as someone who is mixed. i was so excited that we got to have a fe lord thats brown only for him to be the biggest fucking douchbag you can imagine. i tried to play GD route and i couldnt do it because he was so fucking insufferable i hated it i hated that we were fighting and killing people with no actual goal. idk maybe he gets 'better' later in the route but i cant handle it. i wont ever get there and i have zero desire to try anymore. i enjoyed AM i enjoyed SS and of course i enjoyed CF but i hated every minute of having to be with cla/ude. i literally cannot fucking stand him.

i feel fucking bad for the soldiers and people of the alliance who had to fight and die just for the greater good that is claudes fucking curiousity. and then he has the gall to just fucking leave at the end of the game after everything he did. after everyone who followed him fought for him and died for him he really said welp i never gave a shit about fodlan anyway so im leaving them for you to rule teach! I HATE HIM SO MUCHHHHHHHHH

i just wanna say,, thank you for the fact that Roman hasn't fully transitioned yet. I recently figured out that im genderfluid so some days im really dysphoric and this reminds me that its normal and okay, and that youre still valid even if you havent transitioned to what youre comfortable with. The Abyss NPC are such a trove of gold for additional worldbuilding tbh 

Everything about the Pagan Lady who I assume is Dagdan breaks my heart

That poor NPC whose family was somehow massacred by nobles “People with crests do whatever they like no one stops them least of all the church”

Mr. Backup died during the timeskip :( But Abysskeeper ends up marrying his older sister in VW and SS

Rodrigue paid for reestablishing the monastery town, even giving money to the ppl in abyss & generally seems to. I guess you see where Dimitri gets that charitable mindset from. Yuri also notes that he’s remarkably uncorruptible. 

Abysskeeper is originally from Derdriu. It#s fun how a lot of his CF and AM dialogue is exactly the same but in different context XD - apart from of course the rodrigue line, and the time Hubert sends a soldier to do some mission there

When you go save Fhirdiad Constance is pretty glad to save the ppl from the school of sorcery and is glad to find them mostly unharmed

Yuri goes into some detail of events right preceding Byleth’s return in AM where the villages near the fronts weren’t sure wether to think of the guy massacring random imperial soldiers as a serial killer or a folk hero

Balthus apparently had a friendly brawl with Dimitri at some point (I guess continuing the tedency of the recruitees in aM to mention having personally interacted with him, at the very least Leonie and Caspar also get lines like that)

Apparently Yuri’s mom got sick sometime during the timeskip (at least in the AM timeline) so he couldn’t evacuate her from Faerghus. 

Constance like Ferdinand, Lorenz & Lysithea is one of those ppl who remember Edelgard in a semi-positive light after her defeat. Kudos to you!

Balthus suspects where Claude ran off to. Well, he was kinda sent there to snoop on him to begin with XD

He never had any hope for the Parlay

Apparently Yuri does have a habit of praying, he’s not like a strooong believer and can’t recite the scriptures much but it’s a habit he picked up from his mom, I guess he would be one of those ‘culturally religious’ people

I just love how Yuri had additional observations on nearly everything like... nothing gets past him. 

Meanwhile in the CF timeline, Balthus apparently thinks Edelgard is hot (which earns him a death glare from Byleth) and thinks the whole Black Eagle strike force should go have a beer to celebrate Byleth’s return since they’re all old enough now and Byleth’s no longer supposed to babysit them

I love how Hubert just flat out takes over Abyss and integrates poor overworked Yuri into his spy networkXD . Hence why Hapi feels he deserves a definite article.  Well, Hubert appreciates how good he is. The mission was to try & convince the Alliance lords to fold so like El & co were actively attempting diplomacy until the end

On CF you see a very omnious NPC who suddenly dissapears if talked to (probably Agarthan) who complains about “that prince being no good” - Did they offer Dimitri their support when they noticed they were definitely losing control of Edelgard? If so he seems to have rebuffed em. It’s a very cryptic line and I can’t rly make heads or tails of it, but, if he wouldn’t sell Rhea out to Edelgard he probably wouldn’t do it for someone even worse no matter what they promised him. 

Apparently in the VW timeline Hapi is a big fan of Judith

Balthus is proud that little Hilda has become an A list schemer

Hearing Claude’s plan makes constance a bit self-conscious about her own being more past-focussed, she’s been out-bolded

Hapi doesn’t know much about Almyra but reflects on how there are many marginalized minority groups in Fodlan including ppl from Isolated communities like her own

Yuri finds the plan a bit lofty & idealistic for his tastes, and also reckless,  but he realizes that he’s got no leg to stand on when it comes to being more noble than he lets on, and that maybe a lil bit of recklessness are what these times need

Oh, once the secret’s out Hapi concludes that there probably would have been war one way or another with the slitherers having everything infiltrated, edelgard or no edelgard

Balthus mentions that Holst wasn’t at Shambhalla because he was “working out things with the Almyrans” and suggest that they warn him about the slitherers lest they sabotage the diplomacy

Apparently Hapi meditates! This comes up cause she trying not to freak out about Nemesis

“People sait it was the church who kept order but actually Yuri’s the one keeping us from complete chaos”

Apparently it was Hapi who kept the surface bandit population from flattening Abyss

Apparently in VW it’s Judith who gave supplies to Abyss (In Rodrigue’s place)

Seems like despite Hapi’s worries they kinda fare best on CF though (”Things have been pretty ok” vs “We lost some ppl”)

Abyss Resident: “I used to be an important person in the church but Im exiled for embezzling. It wasn’t out of greed tho my hometown was pillaged and the church wasn’t putting in enough to rebuild” Tell me again that Rhea cares about the little guy

One of the random rogues from Abyss is from the kingdom, claims to be a distant descendant of Fraldarius the Elite and finds “poetic justice” in taking down the empire under Claude. 

Another reaaaaly juicy tidbit is that rogue with another message from Hubert, telling Byleth to bring Rhea with them when they go to Shambhalla. Ensuing that Rhea and Thales would destroy each other.  And reaaaly adds to my conviction that Edelgard and Hubert basically did everyone a huge solid and no one noticed. Well, actually in Verdant wind they Do notice eventually; Its the left hand fighting the right cause everyone has triust issues galore

I didn’t think my love of Hubert could increase further

I always wondered, hm, were they expecting Rhea to self-destruct? Did Claude deliberately plan for it? But I never had enough evidence. especially for team Empire. But I mean Edelgard started this whole war cause Rhea is a danger so, while I get keeping her alive cause the slitherers want her for experiments, why not slit her throat as soon as the imperial palace is surrounded? Why have Hubert return her alive, to win the other faction’s trust? Not their style.

Though the random rogue also says that “Rhea was kept alive as insurance” against the slitherers. 

So it WAS part of the plan. I always did have that feeling, but, I never knew how to articulate it logically and not just intuitively. 

Of course if Byleth went and told Claude about this, Claude’s decision is also clear because he’s not dumb enough to think the empire would care for Rhea’s wellbeing out of the goodness of their heart

Though ultimately she insists on coming along for her own reasons anyways wether Claude is there or not, for plain ol’ revenge. 

Also while reading through the scrpits I realize that I never clicked the “Do you hope [Rhea] is dead?” option when Claude explains his plan. That actually nets you support points and he’s like... “Daangerous question friend”. Really Claude is not “the chill/nice one” he’s so much more interesting than that and I love him

Also I love how the NPCs get different outfits depending on the route! I wish there had been more route-specific aesthetic touches

Firstly, THANK YOU to everyone whose tagged me in a follow forever. I am but a humble peddler of trash (u could say im a content recyclist) and it means a lot that even one person liked something i made or did.

Secondly, I want to thank all my friends for being so understanding, esp those i run blogs with, because of my energy levels it can be hard for me to constantly keep up with making content or keep momentum going. And it just means a lot that y’all understand this and have never judged me for anything related to my health.

This last year has SUCKED on an interpersonal and external basis. I went into 2020 with a surgery and then covid happened, and then lockdown (made health conditions flare & my ED came back), and then since then its just been stressor after stressor, esp with my health. It’s been hard to bounce back from that because of the nature of my illness.

But in all that, I found star trek, and I know it’s mostly all I post at the moment, but I’m a bitch who hyperfixates so I’m glad y’all are sticking with me during this time. Star Trek has been something I never paid much attention to until this year and when I finally started it, it clicked with me and the messages and morals and story telling just gripped me. I mean, I’ve nearly finished everything within the last 6 months and thats including new seasons and shows coming out, so it’s been a huge part of me getting through the last half of 2020.

I don’t make new years resolutions or hope that the new year will be better - perhaps this is my health induced pessimism, but I do really hope 2021 is better, including for myself and my ME/CFS - I’m hoping that I’ll start to return to moderate ME and out of moderate-severe. There’s also been more media attention on ME/CFS because of long covid and ME foundations are finally starting to get MUCH needed funding and NICE finally removed GET and CBT as treatments for ME/CFS. So despite 2020 being, well, 2020, so much has changed for ME/CFS sufferers and I AM thankful for that.

BLACKPINK: HOW YOU LIKE THAT

ngl I’m kinda sad bc a lot of y’all don’t like the song ;-; but I can’t do anything about it since it’s your opinion so

but I hope that people know the difference between hating and giving criticism saying the song sucks and that it’s trash music is straight up music

I can get why people are disappointed with the song since everyone wanted almost the same thing, “jennie getting a rap part”, “jisoo saying blackpink in your area” and a high note from rosé

personally I really like the song, to me it’s not the same as dddd and ktl tbh I think it’s different

plus I kinda expected it to be like that bc their songs usually follow that yg style ya know the only songs I say that don’t follow that stereotypical yg style is “love scenario”, “stay” and AKMU’s songs

i mean if you compare the song with other yg artists song, they all have the same vibe to it because of the “yg style” we always say

i see minju and hyewon going into acting careers and CF contracts, the same as kang mina, especially since minju is now an mc for music core

whereas for wonyoung and yujin, their both still young so I think they’ll finish school before re-debuting in groups plus yujin will be attending sopa

especially wonyoung, we all know that she’s actually really smart and is good at academics, i also think she might do modeling work, she fits the criteria

i also kinda see yujin pursuing an acting career because she will be in the theatre and film department in sopa. unless starship is going to debut a new girl group, I hope that yujin can debut as a soloist instead
