Hi,
I know, I was supposed to start writing about my coming out experience yesterday. Sorry.
I'll start with my friends. I thought for a long time how to tell them I'm a boy. Finally I decided to cut my hair and tell them. In the morning I complained to my mom about my hair and that I was going to cut it. She didn't take me seriously. Her problem.
I kind of regret not going to the hairdresser, instead taking scissors and cutting my hair in front of the bathroom mirror. But I can't turn back time.
When I went to school the next day, everyone told me "you look like a boy" and I replied "because I'm a boy"
My class was surprised but accepted me. They still make mistakes but just seeing them try makes me so happy. A few people in my class are still skeptical but I understand that. It's not something that happens often. However, none of them call me names and they call me by my new name.
I'm happy.
