Reposting of something I posted 2 days ago - I had a conversation with the civil person and I decided to remove the reblog attachment because I knew that’d just lead to more issues. This is what the rest of my post said.

I didn't wanna interact with this post at all (reblog removed) and I wanted to leave it be, but the people in this call-out and their friends have decided to drag me into it for some fucking reason and I want to get my voice out there. stop accusing me of shit and twisting the hell out of my words. Just a bit of context,, We got banned from a server that was dehumanizing my friend and questioning her for her source and appearance as a nina fictive because I was “spying” HABIT (who was fronting at the time) had screenshotted nitpicks of what the people in that server had said about my friend and told her about the situation, in which the next morning we had two people dming me (who I will not name because I don’t want shit to escalate. I just want my point across) upset that we had leaked what they were saying about my friend in that said server.

It was also revealed that we were banned because one of the two people who had DM’d me was suspicious that HABIT was a spy. We had assumed it was because, in the server, there were not only mentions of my friend (the nina fictive) but us as well and Celeste and Danny, whom the people who were called out in this doc had bad blood with, and they didn’t want us knowing they were talking shit about us.

There had been a more civil conversation between the first person who DM’d me, so I don’t care about that. Though we aren’t as comfortable interacting with them anymore even if they are still a friend because of the circumstances. We’ll talk for now but keep our distances + im paranoid that something will happen to me for speaking my mind. But the second person was just accusing us of spying and only wanted to leak the messages of my friend to my friend, which first of all if I was spying, why are you so afraid and upset your chats got leaked? Hm? Because you’re aware that what you’re doing and saying is wrong.

I’m not a part of this doc and I never was. Idc if the people involved in this doc have some sort of beef with people they assume have made it and are taking it out on neutral parties, just stop. I’m not naming names. But if this escalates I’m leaking screenshots on here. Stop trying to make it seem like the people who aren’t even involved but deemed guilty anyways are fucking criminals and should be crucified for speaking up against you. Being a teenager/minor or also having disorders doesn’t make u any less problematic and ableist then you’ve already proven yourselves to be. That’s all I have 2 say thnx ^.^ ! !

Also, just an FYI the person who had gotten me banned (person number 2 that DM’d me) had claimed they got banned from my server, which they WERE NOT. This person has spoken about leaving servers and GCs by mistake numerous times before. I believe they also used this claim against me on why they thought it was a good idea to ban us, but the only reason why they weren’t brought back in immediately was because I wasn’t fronting and HABIT was already defensive because I was in a bad mental state. To which this person responded hoping that I’d feel better soon, maybe like an hour before getting us banned. Again. DO NOT INVOLVE ME. I AM A NEUTRAL PARTY AND NOT APART OF THE DRAMA.

I will only get involved if someone forces me in. Which is what happened. Idc about the doc and the people involved are irrelevant to me. I believed it was necessary reblogging because I’d been personally targeted as of today, and not only by the people in the doc, but their friends too.

I ain’t talking to these people again unless they approach me first. I deserve an apology and so do other people. We shouldn’t be your fucking victims because we personally know people you don’t fucking like. We are beings with our own lives too. They don’t revolve around the people you hate unless you make it seem like we do.

Also, we had talked to a friend of these 2, (3) (who is also a neutral party!! I’m not dragging them in whatsoever. And they had actually said that we were banned because HABIT was being ‘rude.’ Like stated above: HABIT was being blunt.

A friend who is also neutral, yet also got banned for the same associations, had warned the people who were talking to us that I was tweaking. HABIT did not out right state it was fronting but it didn’t say anything about people assuming it was me. Which I can’t blame. But I just love how people are being told we were banned for being RUDE (??) when the people who did actually fucking ban us did it bc of COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ACCUSATIONS.

I have not. Here goes.

Orion along with his two siblings are the rulers of this universe's hell. This world's equivalent of Lucifer was spilt into three beings upon death made up of their flesh, blood and bones. Orion is the blood devil and has power over it. He has a secondary theme with minerals as his flesh is akin to marble and his innards are ruby like in appearance.

Orion is very self absorbed and the most vicious of the three. Before his sister destroyed half his face Orion tricked innocent mortals and turned their souls into jewelry for himself. In falling for you, Orion sees you nothing but arm candy in the beginning. In his many years he's had plenty of fine pieces hanging from his side and he sees you no different. When he falls for you all hell breaks loose. It's the full five stages with a heavy acceptance. What has happened, has happened and he knows getting rid of you would only tear a hole in the heart he's grown rather than shut it down.

As much as he dislikes eyes on you, Orion loves showing you off in the same breath. We're talking breaking out the collection of jewels he managed to save, plus making some from his own flesh to make you really shine. Fine robes, a crown half the size of your head, he doesn't stop until you're decorated head to toe and even that isn't enough sometimes.

Orion adores nothing more than having you by his side, preferably nestled into his arms as you go about your day as rulers of the underworld. He even carries you in his arms or has you in his lap. Considering he is elven feet tall he can pick you up with one arm and carry you on his hip for hours which he loves to do.

He also enjoys domestic things to a great extent. Something he never did with previous'"partners" Matching outfits, feeding you by hand, deciding which sinner would be best for the new brooch he was making for you together- It's a combination of actually enjoying this actives and treating you so well it tarnishes your romantic view of anyone else for good.

A few more points on his design are his face is completely stone except for the hole his sister gave him which reveals a single eye under the slab. Orion's mouth his attached to his hand. Further more, there is a crater in his back from which he can produce more limbs. You are forbidden from looking at his back, but more than welcome to the many kisses he can provide.

Orion is quick jealousy and quicker to remove any threats in your relationship. Aside his siblings who could hold their own in a fight he has no issue eliminating anyone no matter who they are. He pretends to care if you cry, but he's pissed you're focused on what soon will be only a distant memory.

I'm not a taylor swift fan, never rlly liked her music or followed her, so I only have vague memories of her in the early-mid 2010s but back then she *did* very much portray herself as a sweet innocent country girl kinda person as far as I remember. Some friends told me that nowadays she's petty, immature and always portrays herself as a victim but ��‍♀️they're professional haters and i neither know nor care😂

I think she did portray herself as sweet but I also think it never really…came off, entirely? Like I’ve listened to her music since I was young and I definitely remember thinking “yeah, sweet if you know her, psycho is you don’t”.

Maybe during the early few years when she was still sort of living in Nashville and no one really knew anything about her other than she was dating old men but idk she always gave off “kitty got claws” vibes to me.

Im not claiming to be like a master people reader I think a lot of people saw through it, like when she got roasted for having friends who were Victoria secret models and people called her cliquey (I got that allll the time at school it used to drive me insane like can I just be friends with my friends thnx). There’s nothing wrong with having hot friends or one core group of friends but your aspirational friend group is never going to endear you to the masses.

I don’t think she’s entirely petty or immature nowadays, I think she probably is a little bit, but everybody is. I think the difference with her is that those are the parts of her she chooses to immortalise. Because no one writes songs about being a happy, balanced person. No one is going to buy 4 vinyl albums of happy and balanced and going to therapy. And being happy and balanced is not a universal experience. Rage, pain, vengeance, are universal experiences. People will buy that because they feel like their trauma connects with yours, it creates a parasocial relationship. Also, if you show people the “bad” parts of yourself, they will think they know you, they will get more emotionally invested in you, because they think you are “peeling back the curtain” for them, whereas actually people are only afraid to show what makes them vulnerable, and I think Taylor Swift’s discography has proved that nothing makes her vulnerable. So I don’t think the petty whining is anywhere near the scope of her whole personality I think it’s just the marketable part. And that’s what I mean when I say she’s a mercenary person - she is aware what people want to see.

For context, I'm in the middle of The Son of Neptune which is the second book in the Heroes of Olympus series.

So far I have read The OG Percy Jackson series, The Kane Chronicles, The Lost Hero (Book 1 in HoO) and some of the extra side books. I have basically been trying to read everything roughly in chronological order.

Anyways! I'm just very pissed because I went into this endeavour of reading all these books because people RAVE about how much they love Percy Jackson and I was like ok I would like to understand what this is about.

So I read the Percy Jackson Series, and I really liked it! I do think if i was younger I would have enjoyed it more but I could definitely see why people enjoyed it. Its got the cool adventure, the jokes and the friendship.

Then. I read the Kane Chronicles. And by Jove. I wanted to love the books. Because while I liked Percy Jackson, most of the characters were white you know? And thats not the Worst thing. But the Kane Chronicles had the extra bit of diversity that I had kind of been missing (I could go into a huge rant about this but im just going to leave it at that, if anyone truly wants to hear more about it feel free to ask but this post isnt about that). Anyways! So I started optimistically, I liked the style of writing, I liked the Egyptian mythology, i really liked the characters! Especially that the main two were a sibling duo. I thought it was super fun. But the thing that genuinely sucked ALL the joy out of the series for me. Was the romance with Sadie, who starts the series being 12 and turns 13 in the second book, having a romance??? With??? A 16 (16!!!????) year old?????????????? It honestly made me hate the books, I couldnt enjoy them once that storyline started going (which mainly started in the second book and theres only 3 in the first place so 😐)

Anyways, I ended up semi-skim reading by the last book. I liked the plot mostly but the romance genuinely made me just want to get the book over and done with I hated it.

And then! I got onto Heroes of Olympus! (I Actually read The Lost Hero before the Kane chronicles because Chronology but anyways) So I start these books, and from what Little i know of the series, These books are the reason everyone loves Rick Riordans books so much. So i was excited! All I knew going into it was that people really like these books and that this is where Nico Di Angelo is featured a bit more (tbh thats more of an assumption, I just know people Really like him and while he was cool in the OG Percy Jackson books he was hardly there).

So here innocent little me goes, I read the Lost Hero and I loved it! I loved the characters, Piper, Jason and especially! Leo ❤️❤️❤️🥺🥺🥺 It was super funny and I enjoyed the storyline a lot. I literally could feel straight away why people would love this series.

And now. I'm reading Son Of Neptune. And it started strong. But why the FUCK!!!! Am I getting ANOTHER potentional (which is probably going to fucking happen from past experience) ROMANCE between a 13 AND A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD!!!!!!! Like what actually goes on in someones brain for them to think that this is normal and fucking alright!!! And why!!! Have I never seen anything about it mentioned before!!!! I have so many bones to pick with Mr Riordan and anyone that has ever recommended these books because like dudgdhshdh I hate it!!!

Im back to basically just trying to read this as fast as possible now because I just seriously cant be fucked with a weird fucking age gap like that, its just totally unnecessary and the story would've made just as much sense if their ages matched. I will probably still finish the books because Ive come this bloody far but I'm so fucking pissed. If anyone would like to console me feel free djdvcjd I have lost months of my life reading these books 🤣😭

Charon the Ferryman, son of Erebus and Nyx (void and night), who takes the dead across the Styx or Acheron after recieving payment left in their body, a single coin (normally obulus or danake) under the tongue. Hellhounds, famous through Cereberus, are a diverse breed of names. We have Black Dogs from the U.K., Inu-gami, hellhounds, Fenrir, and so SO MANY MORE!!! PASTA!!! There are SO MANY!!! But- im gonna grab a few for reference out of Greece. We know cerberus, guardian of the underworld, but how about Sirius and Laelaps? (also a quick piece on church grims)

Sirius, the dog star, was named after Orion’s faithful hunting dog of the same name. If you track the movement of stars, Orion chases his faithful hunting dog, even among the stars. Laelaps, was a hunting dog who never lost a scent, or its prey. Both mythologically legendary hunters.

So church grims and black dogs are both british isles folklore and HEAR ME OUT OK!!!! Its GOOD SHIT!!!! Grims were black dogs buried first in a churchyard (graveyard) first so that the belief that the first buried there was stuck wasn’t human. It’s not IDEAL but it works. The dogs, now grims, would guide the buried to the Beyond and then protect the churchyard against any and ALL threats. Neat huh? Also I wonder who might go to a church??

Black Dogs or Black Shucks (they can intersect but im gonna focus on Black Dogs), is often associated with THE DEVIL and DEATH WILL SOON FOLLOW. I W O ND E R where that assumption might fit into our story??? HRMMMMMM

??? - Human! AU where Satan runs away from home. He meets MC on the streets, and the two get wrapped up in innocent crimes as they find their footings in society - but they can only run for the police for so long (either a miniseries or a cliffhanger oneshot)

Wait For Me - MC is Diavolo’s father’s butler. When the demon king prepares to descend into the Long Sleep, leaving his kingdom solely for his son to control, MC has to train the new butler Barbatos in the art of royal servitude. They end up doing more than just serving tea ;) (fluff oneshot)

??? - In an attempt to expand his kingdom, Diavolo hosts peace talks with the slave tribe that borders the Devildom. After a meeting, Diavolo demands proof of sincerity, and the chief hands over a slave: MC. Barbatos is tasked with integrating MC into society (fluff oneshot)

Two Unstoppable Forces - In a world where Mammon and MC are both idiots, too blind to see that they’re both in love and too stubborn to ever confess, shenanigans ensue. (oneshot fluff with a hint of angst)

Pairing: Steve Harrington x fem!reader

Summary: the reader has a birthday

The quiet, dark, calm of your bedroom is shattered with the ripping open of the curtains, launching you out of a peaceful sleep and into a bright morning. You push to a sitting position, hands coming up to cover your eyes, a groan slipping past your lips.

“Rise and shine, birthday girl!” Steve announces, standing by the window with a mischievous grin on his lips. Last you saw him, he was dropping you off on the porch the night before, but the stupid smile on his face and the keychain he swings around one finger indicates he let himself in, making himself as comfortable as usual.

“I’m taking that key back,” you grumble, dropping back down onto your pillows and yanking the covers back over your head.

“Haven’t I done enough window scaling for one lifetime?” He asks, footsteps padding across the carpeted floor to the bed.

“I’m locking the window, too. You need to learn manners. And a proper sleep schedule,” you say, voice muffled by the blanket.

Steve snorts, and says, “It’s noon.” The mattress dips beneath his weight as he drops onto it, and he tugs up the covers just long enough to slide beneath them, kicking his shoes onto the floor before pulling the blankets back over your heads. The light passes through the woven strands of the quilt just enough to make out Steve’s face a foot away, his lips curled up in a lopsided smile, hair mussed from the blanket.

“Happy birthday,” he says, scooting closer and hooking an arm around your waist to draw you closer.

“Is that today?” You ask innocently. His grin widens and he ducks his chin, tucking his face into your neck and letting out a long sigh, breath warm on your skin.

“It is,” he says. “Are we spending the day here?” He pulls back to look at you. You pretend to consider, brows furrowing, winding your arms around him and letting the scent of lavender detergent and lemon shampoo envelop you, soft and sweet and overwhelmingly Steve.

“Did you have something else in mind?”

That lopsided smile returns, and he shrugs a shoulder dismissively, tugging the covers off your heads to get some fresh air. He shifts, pulling you closer, one hand settling against your head and playing with the soft strands of hair.

“Of course.” he says. “Who do you think I am?” You smile, and he continues. “But it is your birthday. Your day. I’m good for anything.”

“Hmm,” you murmur, shifting onto your side and resting an arm across his stomach. “I think a nap might help us think.”

He laughs, ducking his chin to press a kiss to your head.

“Great idea,” he says.

After an unnecessary but restful few hours curled up beneath the covers, you leave the house and head to the diner under Steve’s promise of a feast. The waitress settles you in the back corner booth, and it’s so small that your knees press together beneath the table, but that just allows for a childish game of footsie, which neither of you complains about.

“I don’t think I can physically finish all of this,” you say, halfway through the literal feast on the table, plates of pancakes and fries and random appetizers and desserts precariously balancing around one another. Steve looks up, half an egg roll jammed into his mouth, and makes a face, swallowing.

“Not with that attitude,” he says, and grabs a few fries, popping them into his mouth and waggling his brows.

“How is it that you look like this-” you gesture at him, “while all you eat is that.” You point to the food, and he grins, shrugging.

“Just lucky, I guess,” he says. You roll your eyes.

“If I ate like that, I’d-”

He kicks your sneaker, and interrupts with a frown.

“You’d still be the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen,” he says. You give him a withering look, to which his grin returns and he holds out a French fry in surrender. You open your mouth, and he launches it in, yelling triumphantly when it lands, your laughter nearly making you spit it out.

His expression goes serious, and he leans his forearms into the table, holding your gaze.

“You know that, right? That you’re beautiful?” He pauses. “And you’re smart, and braver than I could ever be, and funny, and cool.”

“Cool?” You ask, arching your brows. He rolls his eyes.

“Yes, cool.”

“You’re pretty rad, too,” you say, lips curling up in a smile. He bites down on his lip for a moment before returning the smile, shaking his head.

“I love you,” he says. Your chest swells with warmth, and your smile widens.

“I know.”

He snorts, sitting back against the booth, a smirk playing on his lips.

“Okay, Han Solo,” he says, tugging out his wallet and slapping a small stack of cash on the table, lifting his gaze to yours, “You ready for the next stop on the birthday train?”

The Harrington house is empty and silent when you walk in, and Steve doesn’t flip the lights on as he leads you through the foyer to the living room. You’re too caught up admiring the little curls at the nape of his neck as he walks ahead of you to notice that anything is off, and by the time you do, you’re in the living room and the lights are flashing on and people are yelling HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and there are balloons and music and smiling faces.

Robin and Nancy envelop you in a hug, quickly followed by the younger kids, forming an awkwardly large group hug in the center of the floor. You squeeze them tightly, heart bursting, tears pricking the back of your eyes.

Everyone you know - everyone you love - is there: Nancy and Jonathan, Robin and her girlfriend, Mike, El, Lucas, Max, Dustin, and Will, even Hopper and Joyce. The people who’ve seen you at your lowest and bloodiest and loved you regardless. The family you found; the family you chose.

El lights the candles - telepathically, because it wouldn’t be your life if it wasn’t just a little bit weird, even now - and everyone gathers around the table, Steve standing behind you with his hands resting on your shoulder.

They sing, and it’s horribly off key and perfect in its genuineness, and you can do nothing but smile and lean back into Steve as they finish the chorus.

“Blow them out!” Dustin urges.

“She has to make a wish first, idiot!” Max snaps.

“No shit, sherlock-”

“Shut up.” Nancy and Jonathan say, and laugh at each other.

Steve leans down, lips by your ear, and says, “Make a wish.”

“And don’t tell us what it is,” Max says, shooting a glare at Dustin, who sticks his tongue out.

You blow out the candles in one go, and everyone claps and whoops, Steve ducking around to press a kiss to your cheek and say, “Happy birthday.”

You don’t tell them what your wish was, but you’re feeling pretty good about its chances. You wished simply for more of this; more miraculous moments with these people. Just more.

nah, i dont like book Magnus at all. i think hes a creepy predator, and not even (just) because Alec is 17yo when they meet. but he just keeps doing this, like, he kissed (will i think?) when he was drunk & without consent, he did that whole "ooh i can't wait for u to turn 18 so we can have sex" (which gross) with Alec, he had this whole thing for him being like sweet and innocent which just creeps me out and doesnt sit well with me. and lets of course not forget when Alec was sexually assaulted and instead of like, worrying about his wellbeing, he was just jealous and then fought Alec over it??? creepy. predator. and there's probably more shit im forgetting

anyway, greatest differences between show and book magnus:

show Magnus doesnt dress like the clown brigade

show Magnus is not, you know. creepy or a predator. or being used as a thinly veiled excuse to put obsession with white features in a poc's mouth

show Magnus is i think way better developed and more complex than book Magnus. book Magnus is basically a sassy queer man stereotype with some insecurities regarding his origins and relationships (which are mostly fine and were kept during the show) but i feel like the show did a much better job of writing him and making him feel real, you know? they added all that struggle he has with his guilt, and they made him a fundamentally caring and compassionate person, and they explored how that can also be an issue that stems from his low self esteem and sense of worth. im not saying show Magnus was perfectly written because the show had a lot of inconsistencies with all characters (altho i think Magnus was mostly consistent, maybe even the most consistent one) but i do like his personality, his struggles, and the layers of character studying and development that they added there. also, he's capable of building relationships that arent just built on sassiness or the presence of blue eyes

that's it tbh honestly i dont really give book Magnus a lot of thought lmao amazingly enough he's one of the most alright characters in the book personality-wise (which sad but u kno) (I'm not gonna get into the racial tropes and stereotypes cuz oh man) so eh 🤷

I don’t get why people say I’m throwing my Julliard diploma away by teaching music to high schoolers. I actually really like it. Teens are so smart these days, and I get to learn so much from them. Plus it’s nowhere near as stressful as being in a theatrical ensemble. I mean, sure, the kids can be a little intense sometimes. the caldwells weren’t always as stinky filthy rich as they are now. it was only 20 years ago when their business boomed that they skyrocketed up to the 1%. being nouveau riche got to her parents´ head and led to the estrangement of their two older children

cecile, nicknamed cece, was born to bunny and beau caldwell as some sort of miracle. they were both over fourty when they had her. having driven away their older children, daniel and erica, they decided they’ll to do whatever it takes to keep this one, so they left san francisco, moved to new york, and never looked back

after high school, cece went to julliard for an undergraduate diploma having studied cello since forever. she was there for 3 years, heavily watched by her parents. after that, cecile went to work with world-renowned ensembles for 2 years and that’s where she met her boyfriend.

after travelling and performing, cece figured she wanted more — what exactly, she wasn’t sure, but her parents figured a small town might even be better than the big ol’ cities she used to go to. they got her a really nice apartment, bought a house nearby, and let her take the small teaching job. they still have plans for her, but they figured a year would be enough for cece to get it out of her system, and they could go back to having their daughter the way they wanted her again

basicaly, cecile has never truly been exposed to the real world, and there has never been a better opportunity than being in shermer now

i jst think it’s so interesting how easily stef embodies both the archetypes of  ‘ hero ’  and  ‘ villain ’  like. he’s introduced 2 us as this rly good character, this saviour to balance damon’s slayer, who saved elena and keeps trying to protect her  ( somethin that in and of itself has its own selfish motivations but thats a post for another day )  while also making  ( some admittedly shitty )  attempts to keep others safe but ??? hes still done some rly fuckin terrible things, he has a history of violently murdering innocent people and then literally piecing their bodies back together and he fixates on this to a ridiculous degree. on top of that his control is Absolutely Shot To Hell nd he continues to be a very hungry and repressed character 2 his very core ???? which is honestly something he’s been since he was human rly but was just amplified so much when he turned like. he’s always been hungry and i really try 2 portray that even when i write him morally. he’s a covetous man, somethin that was true of him even before he encountered katherine, nd the ripper is just the most obvious outlet for that aspect of his personality. nd bcos of all that, the repression and the hunger and the desire, when he goes off the deep end he really fuckin goes off it and does some fucked up shit that ???? ppl keep forgiving him for ?????

Okay December 22 2012 I went to Eldorado Motor to Finance a nice car! I'm 18 had no credit but I held a job since I was 16! Anyways I got Approved! I picked out a Red 2001 Ford Focus! Its was 7, 000 butt after everything was said and done it all added up to like 10, 000! Anyways when I got the car I didn't know they wouldn't let me leave with the car unless I had insurance! So after I gave the $500 Down payment! They was like alright all we need is proof of insurance & sign some paper work and its mine! Well I only had like 600 bucks and 100 left after I gave the down payment...I told them I wouldn't be able to get insurance until next payday cause I was broke! They worked with me and said how much will it cost you for insurance? I told them it depends on if I needed Liability or full coverage! They said all you need is liability! I was in shook! I clarified like twice if I could get Liability? They said yes! So I called State Farm got a 220 quote and Eldorado Motor dropped my down payment to 300 and refunded me 200 So II paid for insurance! And was rolling! Butt I do remember asking what happens if I wreak? They told me they had a repair shop and all I would have to do is pay a 200 dollar deductible! And they would repair it and just tack the rest of the repairs on my car note! So fast forward like 4 months its April 12 2013 I was in a hurry Tailgating a Truck and finally this ttuck in front of me swerved into the next lane! I thought the Truck was getting outta my way so I could go ahead of him turms out he swerved around a turning car! And I couldn't stop in time and I rear ended the car turning!!! So I would be paying less money for insurance, but I would be able to drive my bike. My dad will be getting a license, but first needs a motorcycle. So again can he get insurance on this motorcycle without a license?""

Fender bender, no insurance?

My boyfriend got into a little fender bender with someone driving a rental car, his insurance just expired and he hadn't gotten it renewed yet. We both took each others information and there was a mall cop there as well. No police report was filed but when they find out he doesn't have insurance what will happen? Please no negative comments. “Uncle Carl how are you feeling today?” You ask taking a seat next to the bed of your uncle’s.

Funny enough you felt you were more close to Carl than say even your father you both sharing a bond. Your uncle was everything to you. 

Carl chuckled and leaned his head against the pillows, “dear, it is the same as always. Also why are you wearing a turtle neck and some long pants, its like 80 in here!”

Suddenly, Markus walked in, wanting to get Carl out of bed and to start the day. You always made sure to come early in the morning, sometimes even before Carl woke up. You wanted to spend every little minute with him. 

“Markus takes very good care of me. Without him I’d be lost.”

You peered up to see the android smiling lightly but as he saw your expression his face turned back to stoic. 

“Yes, Markus does take great care of you, I am forever grateful to him.” You stand up and fix your clothes. Markus’s eyes turn to your clothing and he looks concerned. You quickly pat Markus on the shoulder, “thank you Markus. Uncle I’m gonna wait downstairs for you, I brought some groceries maybe we can share a meal together!”

You ran down the stairs not wanting any confrontation. 

After eating and enjoying breakfast you go and wash the dishes. 

“I do not want to be rude, but you do realize I am the one who is supposed to do that.” Markus stood next to you. 

“Well take a break.”

Markus stood there like a stiff log with such a serious face.

You look him over and shake your head, “that let me tell you is not taking a break.”

Markus stood closer to you. His presence making you lose focus on what you were doing that your hands slip on a plate and the plate drops on the floor. You quickly get the pieces and one of the shards cuts your skin making it bleed. 

“Is everything alright dear?” Called your uncle, rolling to you.

“Oh its nothing its just a cut.” You wince touching it making it bleed more. 

“Markus, go help her out with that.”

Markus grabbed your other hand and led you to where Carl does his art. He brought out the first aid kit and tended to your wound. 

“This may hurt,” Markus touched the cut and you wince lightly, biting your lips to stop the cry. Then the pain goes away and instead it is replaced with soft, comforting hand. His hand lingers on yours for just a moment, making you feel sparks fly. 

You smile to Markus as he is putting a wrap around it, “Thank you Markus.”

“I don’t want to intrude or anything buy may I ask, why are you wearing that y/n?”

You turn around to look at yourself in the mirror. 

Of course you looked ridiculous and of course you were hot but you couldn’t reveal what was hidden under the clothes. 

You stare longer into the mirror, feeling self conscious with yourself. You wrap your arms around your waist and Markus comes up behind you to place a reassuring hand on your shoulder. 

“Y/n whatever you are hiding under there would not make you less beautiful.”

You shake your head back and forth and tears start to come out. 

“No I can’t show you, you would think of me badly. Everyone does when they get a look at me. I don’t want you to stop tending to my uncle or to stop talking to me.”

You wipe your tears away and grab your bag swiftly, saying goodbye to Markus. 

“Hey uncle I got to go, I just forgot I have to do something.”

Out the door you left. Leaving Markus questioning. 

“Uncle Carl is Markus there?” You asked over the phone the next day. 

“No why? Y/n you’re starting to sound real strange you know that. Wearing that outfit, and then Markus said you stormed out because you were crying, whats up with all that?”

Your leg bounced up and down, your hands rubbing your temple. “Uncle I’ll tell you when I get there.”

You walked up the stairs to your uncle’s room and sat by him. 

“See now that outfit’s better.”

Looking down to your hands tears appeared again. Carl was concerned and held your hands, “whats wrong my dear? Y/n tell me!”

“I hate the way I look!”

Your secret was about your tattoos, your tattoos covered your whole body. 

The only person who knew was your uncle and he didn’t mind since he had a couple himself. But you didn’t want to show them to Markus, not to someone who is so important to you. Every time you showed them to any one or to any android they would either become afraid or become disgusted. 

“I don’t want to be weird anymore. I don’t want Markus to not like me and then turn you away. I just wish people were more understanding.”

“I think you look beautiful.” Said a new voice, turning to the door you spot Markus. Feeling self conscious you try to cover up and go out the door. 

“This was a mistake,” you uttered, trying to leave. 

“Y/n, y/n please do not leave.” Called Markus, heading down the stairs. 

“What do you want Markus? You want to tell me how ugly I am?”

Markus face softened, “Y/n all those things you said about yourself are not true. I could never be afraid or disgusted by you. I believe your tattoos actually make you look-”

You came closer, innocence playing on your face, “yes?”

“I feel that these markings make you look...sexy.”

You chuckled, not knowing androids could say that. “Thank you Markus.”

Markus took a hold of your hand. “Y/n, you are beautiful just the way you are, and I would never want to change you, or for you to change.”

You smiled feeling loved and appreciated. 

“For gods sake just ask her out Markus!” 

You and Markus both look at the top of the stairs to see who said that. 

“Uncle!” You shouted, feeling bashful. 

“Its the truth!” 

“Gotta love him,” you whispered to Markus. 

Markus chuckled, lacing his fingers with yours.
