Scenario that I've had in my brain forever: in the very very beginning days of established sskk theyre both very weird about touch. They'll tackle or piggy back ride each other but the idea of hugging or holding hands is unheard of. So when Akutagawa gets sick the first time after they become a thing, atsushi is absolutely fucking stunned when he becomes the clingiest motherfucker alive. Delirious ryuu that holds onto atsushi's shirt and whines when he gets up to bring him a new washcloth, who can only fall asleep if atsushi holds him tight enough to feel safe 🩷🩷 he doesn't remember most of it but atsushi is a lot softer with him afterwards <3

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA....there's something about Akutagawa feeling extremely defenseless when he's sick and really latching onto anyone around him for security or protection, I think it's something Dazai drilled into him when he was younger to create some kind of "never let your guard down" mentality for him, but he's simply not able to keep it up physically. he's so physically weak when he's sick that he just can't protect himself and he latches onto Atsushi without even realizing it because he subconsciously knows Atsushi will keep him safe no matter what 😭😭😭 Atsushi doesn't understand it at all but he looks at him differently afterwards...where did that come from?? why was he like that?? he'll figure him out one day.....

Anyways Akutagawa is absolutely shit at showing affection unless Atsushi is in total distress and then he becomes completely weak. Atsushi's delirious and crying and he's stroking his hair and calling him darling but the moment he's in his right mind again Akutagawa goes back to insulting him and telling him to get over it. ₊ ⊹ Working in the mafia can be such hard work! It’s always exhausting, mentally or physically… A lot of the time both actually. Especially with someone like Mori as your boss. He expects the best and only the best will survive. So they’re forced to be the best. Overall it makes every single mission exhausting and for Dazai, sometimes he just wants to be a little baby! Babies don’t need to work and stress about this stuff, so why does he have to? It’s no fair…

⛦ If after a mission Dazai starts feeling small then he tries pushing it away. Chuuya must be just as tired as he is, if not more so considering Chuuya is the brawn to his brains. What Chuuya needs is some rest. Not the burden of looking after a pathetic baby like himself. So he just ignores it! But it isn’t that easy. It isn’t long before it starts causing… Problems. Dazai is very familiar with the issues of pushing off his regression, but the symptoms never get any easier no matter how many times he does it

₊ ⊹ Everything starts off feeling a little fuzzy, a gentle request from his body which he ignores. But then it works up into a headache. Easy, Dazai is used to headaches! He can just tighten his bandages, pressure helps relieve pain! But doing things feels really hard… So he ends up sitting in the bathroom holding useless bandages and working himself up into a panicked frenzy. It just makes him feel smaller and smaller by the second… It’s not fair. Why can’t he just be normal? The Demon Prodigy shouldn’t be acting like a child

⛦ Luckily for times like this, Dazai isn’t trusted in a bathroom alone for very long (He doesn’t have a great track record). It isn’t long before Chuuya is knocking on the door to check on him. Chuuya will come into the bathroom and gently wrap the bandages around Dazai’s head for him (It’s much nicer when Chuuya does it anyway…), nice and snug to ward off headaches! Dazai is always quick to insist he isn’t a baby, so Chuuya will calmly explain that he’d do this even if Dazai wasn’t a baby. In that voice. That voice that is clearly intended for a baby. But how can he explain that?

₊ ⊹ Nicknames time! As usual the Soukoku classic, Chuuya definitely calls Dazai “Mackerel”! It’s especially helpful when Dazai claims he doesn’t want to be treated like a baby since Chuuya calls him that all the time. Overall it’s just trying to keep up the teasing atmosphere! Dazai doesn’t like change, so Chuuya will also just call him things like “Dummy” a lot. But sometimes when Dazai is deep enough into baby space he won’t object to things Chuuya can call him “Baby”, Dazai loves this one! He just usually objects to it. I also think Dazai calls Chuuya “Chibi”! It’s hilariously ironic considering how small Dazai feels, but of course he’s gotta act like he’s in control!

⛦ Missions can get messy, lots of injuries and sensory issues. Dazai tries to just quietly sit still as Chuuya treats any injuries, but by the end of it he’s a shaking sniffling mess… Especially something like stitches. Is it safer to take him to a doctor? Yes. But the mental toll that would take on him is to much. Better to just let Chuuya take care of it. Plus something like blood on his clothes? That feels so sticky and gross! He needs it off. But he doesn’t like bathing because he feels so exposed. I think seeing his body is a reminder that he exists, a reminder that he doesn’t appreciate

₊ ⊹ Bath time solution? Bubble baths! Bubble baths hide his body. Plus with Chuuya helping to wash him Chuuya can use special smelling soaps to encourage relaxation! I think Dazai struggles to sleep, poor baby definitely has nightmares, so sleepy time bath scents definitely help! Plus Chuuya gives him some clothes (Chuuya buys clothes that are too big for him so that they can fit Dazai). Being surrounded by the smell of Chuuya, cologne he uses, laundry detergent, maybe even the faint smell of cigarettes. It reminds him of Chuuya so it’s relaxing

⛦ As Dazai starts settling down Chuuya makes him some nice warm angel milk! He serves it in a sippy cup (Just to avoid spills! Not because he’s a baby. Of course not). Then they can just snuggle up on the couch and watch a show! Dazai hates the idea of sleeping, so Chuuya can’t create a sleepy atmosphere or the babies onto him! Both the couch instead of the bed and a show that should take focus are a very awake atmosphere! And with Dazai not thinking about sleeping he’s able to drift off in Chuuya’s arms

Chuuya bite Dazai vampire style and that nullifies the curse. Aha. i can imagine the edits now. (and to see that animated at some point.. ough) 2. Skk beats up Fyodor double black style ;) 3. Skk bantering that we have missed so so so much 4. Chuuya potentially faking being vampire, lifting his hat up, and looking at Dazai... "You missed me?" OR "You look like shit. Almost makes me forgive you for that stunt you pulled with the water." 5. Dazai being carried princess style by Chuuya ahhahahtg73849ewk 6. Now, what me personally wanna see.... Chuuya BOOKING it down the halls trying to get to Dazai in time. I don't think this will happen because the shock value of seeing Chuuya actually faking being vampire wouldn't be as good. Now, I don't think Dazai is going to die. But. It a possibility that we cannot ignore.... and I've got some angst that it can cause. Like. Agh. This is the reason I'm making this post; I want to shock others with fear. Fear that I don't want to suffer through alone. NOW, MY ANGSTY LIST FOR HOW THIS SKK INTERACTION MIGHT PLAY OUT:

Fyodor calls back vampire Chuuya (Sigma situation) and he doesn't make it to Dazai in time and Dazai dies Alone. (I don't think this is going to happen at like. All. But it could! Maybe!)

Turns out Chuuya is faking being vampire, but he gets to Dazai and it's too late to do anything (poison kicks in, bro bleeds out, etc.) He dies in his arms! ^^

Chuuya is forced to activate corruption, Dazai can't save him because BROKEN LEGS and both Chuuya and Dazai die (i will stop reading bsd.

Chuuya kills Dazai as a vampire, the curse isn't nullified (FYODOR is the one who sent Chuuya there afterall) and this is when we get Really Angsty: (1) It's obvious that Chuuya and Dazai care for each other on some level, even if you don't ship them. Chuuya would be killing somebody that he cares about, and he would probably blame himself for it. Dazai is somebody that he has known for SEVEN YEARS!! That shit would HURT!! The sheep, flags, all of his subordinates that have died on the field, now Dazai. (2) NOW as for DAZAI!! If I remember correctly, Dazai says something along the lines of "Everything I want I lose" or something like that, right?? Now. Imagine this. Dazai, someone who craves death and constantly tries to commit suicide, dies. OK so what?? No. I think that Dazai very much wants to try and stay alive, it's hinted at multiple times (15 novel, his character song, a much happier life with the ADA in contrast to the mafia, etc.). Let's circle back to what I said earlier, "Everything I want I lose." Dazai goes full circle from wanting to die -> wanting to live -> dying. It hurts and it would prove what Dazai thinks/thought is right!! Everything he wants, he can't have! (Also, cherry on top. He hates pain!! He would be dying a very, very painful death. He even says that he is in a lot of pain in the chapter) OK, ONE AGAIN I DONT THINK CHUUYA OR DAZAI IS DYING!!! im sorry. lets.. focus on the positives!!! Sskk reunion yayyy! (AU/9 chpts) this one is my very first fic and the one that actually got me inyo skk. the writer has done a great great job bringing you to their wolrd. here we are on modern setting but abilities are still on. Chuuya works at a flower shop and Dazai at the cafe across the street.  their interctions are slow and natural. you cant help but ship them. the other bsd characters are all in and they are treated respectifully and well done as if they are the mains. i really like the story and how it grows to the finale.its well writen and the feelings are overwhelming! this has a spanish translation from the writer.

Intoxicated by setosdarkness:

(AU/21 chpts) a really really great fic! nothing less from setosdarkness! definatly read her other works that are currently on-going. they are awesome and cinematic-like. really welldone and well-written. the plot is a bit tricky but it keeps you on edge. you get into the characters and when you will finish it, you will be suprized. its a mafia!AU and everyone plays. its a well build game. you are gonna love it. there is also smut in it, but its part of the game too. the hole thing is a game that you cant helped it but fell willingly into it and you will be satisfied with it.

Find Something Worth Dying For (And Learn How to Live) by kibasix:

(17 chpts) read the name of the writer.. no thats it. thats my analysis. KIBASIX! we are talking about one of the best writers, in my opinion. I cant even explain how perfect this fic is! this fic here?! I cried my eyes out! i was waiting the next chapter like kids wait Santa. simply immersive. it was an absolutely agonized journey. it was like a dance between the feels and the rightness of their world. its chapter was more majestic than the last and the next was more painful than the last. the writer’s words get imprinted in your heart and mind and you cant help but want to read more, feel more, see more. it has a cinematic feel. it starts from the very beginning and we see skk relationship how it evolved and how it suttered  like you are seeing it live. a sad poem in a form of a fic. the characters are practically singing their emotions out, only to be ignored by their life. and yet the fate laughs at them as she entangle them together. I can talk for hours how they write each of the character like a living being, forgeting none, and how they give each one a right place and the spotlight they deserve! an amazing work that leaves you full and empty in the same time. this one has a smak 4 chpts sequel “

Sparks Like A Match (Burns Like A Wildfire)

“ and another sequel that is yet to come (I believe in you kibasix-sama!). also check their other works, both multi and one-shot!

Noir by Adargo:

(20 chpts) another gem. another feel train. noir is the color of skk and this fic is the sorry song of their lives. a corrupted fic that leaves you craving for more. here we read with the shadow of Corruption on our back and the characters live under it.  its one of the character lives under their own corruption and try to get out only to have an odd feeling at the end. it could be more chpts or only this this and the feeling will be the same. we never leave corruption, just learn to live with it in this noir world. although I would love to see more, when you finish it you can only mutter a “wow” and then never live properly again. rips your heart out and fixs it momentaly to rip it again later. you live and breath with the characters and in the end you breath a new air, a better one for me. this epitomy of angst heals you so amazingly. as the characters go a step foward you take one too and from then one your heart has a different weight. a truly and without doubt exceptional work.

A Hearts Desire by Kaokita:

(AU/6 chpts) a beautiful fic. prostitute!Chuuya  opens to us a world that we see journalist!Dazai to bark in and challenge Chuuya in a “bet of felling in love".  a proud chuuya is always  present but here it compinate with a kinda impulsive chuuya, exposed to Dazai's hungry feeling for actual feels. here we are talking about the dark world of the underground were a no less dark but bright light (dazai) comes to shake the everyday life of our protagonist. its well written and well build. doesnt leave you with a complain and brings you to another world. really enjoyable to read. spoiler oda and chuuya having seeeeeex

 Forgettable Significance by Witheryvine:

(32 chpts) after the anime, the feels start.  if you thought that dancing with angst was easy, then you havent read this own. betreyal and love complicate each other and come to you to cry with them. a really interesting work and stunning. it is overwhelming but you want it to be. there are things that are needed to be said, words that have to come to the light and the writer not only do that perfectically but also gives you more to heal yourself  and breath.  it takes a lot to take back someone who meant the world for you and throw you away, yet! the writer  has done such a nice jod giving as the feelings, thoughts and fears that you cant help but be one with it. the style of writing helps the fic to encrave into you and honestly i havent see many write it so good.

You Won’t Lose Me (So Don’t Leave Me Behind) by hybridempress:

(14 chpts) now it will be a terrible mistake to leave this out!from bottom to the top its a must read. an emotional roller coster with the best of fluff. emotions well hidden are suddenly out. too fast changes leave you breathless and the characters have to take fast decisions, act fast and start to live from the zero. a phychological rebirth thats requares a lot of courage to abandon everything so you can chase after an old wild dream in a form of a man, new to you but as old as time to your heart. along with sequel of it  “

You Have a Heartbeat (You’re Real, You’re Here, You’re Human)

” by mostladylikeladythateverladied they create a perfectly must read at all cost fic that gives you the most satisfying feeling of “ah thats how it should be done”. skk are a complicate pair but the writers give them to you bare to see and feel with them to all your might. p.s. that amazing scenes with sskk at the sequel cured my heart!

Sorrow Already Spoiled by Soukokuhell:

(AU/16 chpts) an awesome fic is here once again. this AU is really well written and well build around two people  way too hurt, who find love and healing together. trying to move foward but with the past to hunt them down. love and fear are walking together here. the angst is getting healed by the characters emotions and the lovemaking is great! with each chapter the characters are getting healed and at the finale you get to breath again. the fluff is in the love and devotion they have for one another.

All Aboard by Asmicarus:

(8 chpts)an action fic with a lot of feels. chuuya is suffering again and dazai is an asshole but you can see that there is much more behind them. Dazai’s manipulating nature comes out to play and although it fools everyone, Chuuya manage to sutter it to the ground with a few words. the remark is 10000000% what we all need and what Dazai needs to hear. he pretends to be human but chuuya leave him naked to the bone. from here the story takes another turn to dazai realizing what is happening and what he needs and chuuya finaly decides to take what he deserve.

Silver and Shining by ShesAParadox:

(25 chpts) okay thats a fic that i havent read in a long time, but i remember it still in this day how good impression it left me.  the protagonist is fate and the puppets are skk, but not like any other fic. here there are a little things they can do.as their lives unfold and hardships are presented to them continuously, it becomes apparent that they are both the best and worst thing to have appeared in each other’s lives. the well written text  gives you piece by piece their thoughts and mind, fears and love from the first meeting  are amazingly describe and it leaves you complete. it  happends what it should happen.

(11 chpts) one hell of a fic. here is hopeless chaise with mori as the hunter and dazai as the prey. chuuya is the ‘innocent’ love one of dazai who has been called to play the savior. oda feels rip you apart, every character battles with inner and out demons and dazai is having a crisis. yet! the writer never fails to right a complicated masterpiece where life and death are playing chess. the fluff and smut take the fic to another level as a celebration of life and mori is practically playing death himself. a foolish man who wants to be a god and dazai is the child here who is desperate to live. chuuya steals the spotlight and lead to the end. its an excellent work of a mad song with the most logical story in a world that rules are made to be broken.

hmm. like a 6. i like it because im a self-indulgent writer so it's like getting to read exactly what i wanna see. but also editing is a PAIN especially when it comes to paragraphs that are just like. what am i even talking about. or sometimes i skip scenes and i just stick in smth like [they talk] [funny joke idk] and having to cross the bridge i have gotten to is not fun HELP

🌸🐾 itafushi -> megumi's shikigami popping up (out of his control) when hes watching yuuji because they love yuuji as much as he loves yuuji. mostly the dogs and the rabbits

💛🧡🤎 kunichuuzai -> cane user dazai x chronic pain chuuya x knkd with hand tremors. important to me

🗡️🔪 tachigin -> sometimes gin doesnt want to talk so tachihara learned sign language specifically for them and convinced most of the port mafia to learn it too

oh my god UMMM okay. lets talk about gojo satoru.

a lot of the fandom believes that he only cares about geto and that frustrates me a lot because while yes, a lot of gojo's reckless decisions are based on geto and he always looks to him for guidance, it has been shown time and time again that gojo cares for many others. he would not sacrifice his students to save geto. he is selfish, but he is not irrational. gojo loves his students. he loves nanami and shoko. we've seen how affected he is at nanami's death, the pure rage at the higher ups who wanted to kill yuta and now yuuji, how highly he thinks of megumi and his power etc. he believes in creating a future for jujutsu society that isnt corrupt, one which his very own students will run. while stsg share an undeniable bond, so deep that gojo is still paralysed by geto's body even after years of not seeing each other again, he would not choose geto over what he believes is the saving grace of jujutsu society. gojo will fight and scream and sink his fangs into whatever he can to get geto back, but his love and loyalty is not limited to just that. at the end of the day, hes the strongest, and he is lonely. why would he abandon those he keeps dear to his heart? for geto? that would go against his character and the future he is working so hard to create. he can love more than one person
