yes i’m tired and angry at hbo max for not even bothering to give us scraps and yes i’m miserable and jaded about rainbow capitalism but also if we DO actually get a trailer tomorrow the extreme dopamine hit and the flood of endorphins that i’ll get from seeing new footage of edward teach will probably temporarily override any trace of bitterness about being continually done dirty by corporations for like, at least an entire week

#i mean. no I don't have horrible middle child syndrome#but its there 💀#my parents planned this vacation without asking me anything#and also lowkey thought i might not even go ??? bro its the beach........#and then literally last week my mom was like you can see if there's any restaurants you want to go to#but when i was looking i saw that there's an aquarium!!!!!!#idk man. aquariums are my favorite thing ever. you would think my parents might see that when planning this trip#and be like oh hey elisabeth would like that#but they didn't 🫶#the main activities that they planned were. a fort. and a battleship. yayyyy 😐#sorry bestie i dont care about that! but my dad does so cool he should go do that!#but i asked if we could go to the aquarium#and my mom is trying to figure out how to fit it in#and she's like. well we could go to the aquarium instead of spending all of one day at the beach#or. i could go to the aquarium by myself while they walk around the city.#and im like. can some of us go to the aquarium while my dad and granddad go to the fort or battleship#???#and they're like. hmmmm idkkkk..... that doesn't sound right............ we wouldn't want people to miss that......#ok but i can miss the beach or the city. aka the things im actually interested in. ok cool#great. for sure dude#we talked about it for a minute and i said id rather miss the battleship and fort than the beach or city#and my mom was like . ok we'll figure it out. we'll either go tomorrow or Sunday. idk. we'll figure it out later#like this is an impossible equation 💀 ok ig. whatever 😭

Yesterday I came back from my first ever holiday on my own. Today I spent the whole day relaxing and only doing laundry as I traveled almost all day yesterday. I had a lovely time, it was great to be able to decide what I wanted to do on my own and then doing it or deciding to do something totally different. I really enjoyed it, it felt really freeing. It also was a bit lonely sometimes, especially when I would be the only one on my own. Like when I ate breakfast at my hotel and was surrounded by couples, friends and family. Or when I went out for lunch or dinner on my own. Also the fact that you can't share it and talk about it with other people. I spammed my family with pictures just to feel like that for a bit. But the positive things did really outshine the negative ones. Who knows, I might do this again and travel farther or longer. But this was a great start!
#me#personal#holiday#i went to one of the dutch islands#i always wanted to go back there#spent my days biking and walking#sitting in the sand watching the sea#walking barefoor on the beach and in the water#just enjoying everything#even felt like crying sometimes that i was doing this#being able to do this and that i didnt chicken out#also sometimes felt like a loser when i asked the hotel manager questions#i've never stayed at an hotel before#and my anxiety made that very clear to me#but for the biggest part it was a really positive experience#it felt like an adventure#one i didnt think i would ever be able to do a year ago#and now i did it#im really proud of me#and i still almost cant believe i did this#anyway#might post some pictures tomorrow#i took quite a few#just me rambling#but this is the only place i know where i can post this#get it out of my head and my system

#ofmd#ofmd s2 spoilers#i'm actually getting nervous for jenkins et al for tomorrow bc if they do kill off izzy i fear there will be a riot lmao#i'm so on the fence#because part of me is like 'djenks would never do that - he loves izzy's character and no one perma-dies on this show'#and narratively it would be strange (though not completely out of the realm of possibility) for him to die after this whole arc#and surely the whole team is aware that folks would be furious#(me personally i'm down with whatever happens so long as it fits the story but i know a lot of folks would be legit upset)#but i cannot shake those images from the bts of person-who's-definitely-con lying on the deck as ed puts a coat over him#and then the funeral and grave on the beach#THAT ALL BEING SAID i'm holding onto that one reviewer on twitter who saw the finale already#and said they have as much faith if not more in jenkins and co after the finale#i do find it hard to believe they'd really sacrifice izzy like that#even though i can imagine at least one scenario that would make it plausible but it would still be kinda shitty#I just... mmmm.....i really dont know how this will go#and im afraid to be around fandom when or if it does lol#ultimately my greatest fear is that if they do kill him or another beloved character off it affects our renewal chances#like no matter what happens yall gotta campaign hard

It's supposed to thunderstorm on Saturday so our camping trip got cancelled a-fucking-gain. I'm so bummed out.
New weekend plans I guess 🍹🥴
#going out drinking with my parents then bbq-ing back at their place tomorrow#and sunday my friends and i might go hiking and chill at the beach? thats still a maybe plan though#just sooooooo upset that both camping trips we booked got rained out#how are you supposed to book trips.. it just sucks.. camping sites sell out as soon as they're available in march#like my friend had to set a timer and book as soon as they opened bookings#so what awful luck that the two weekends he booked got rained out#im just so mad that it happened with both trips#were trying to plan a rescheduled trip but weekends are fully booked until fall and not everyone could make a mid week trip#i think my bf and i might just plan a random mid week camping trip because fuck i wanna do at least 1 trip#😭#anyway time to get drunk and play video games i guess.. been so bummed out all day
