your relationship with jake was like a tamer version of romeo and juliet, your families holding a decades long grudge against each other. still, you liked the thrill of sneaking around and meeting up with your lover, hiding from your family and having to bend the truth so often– you weren’t lying when you said you were going to study at the library, you just forgot to mention that jake would be present, and that maybe you’d make out against the bookshelves of the ecology book section. truthfully, it wasn’t that serious at first, you two just wanted to have fun and piss off your families if they were to find out, but over time, you two grew undeniable close and feelings started to get involved. instead of stopping, like you had suggested, jake just found new ways to meet up with you. he’d ask to go to the bathroom during class, only to beg you to join him, returning to class minutes later with marks blooming on your neck. he’d invite you to parties, finding you in the crowd and kissing up from your shoulder to your neck. he’d throw little rocks at your window at night so you’d join him and stargaze from under the apple tree in your neighbor’s garden. and maybe you’d go home that night with marks littering your neck, and maybe this time you wouldn’t cover them up, wishing to be able to be public with jake.

the first time you and sunghoon kiss is minutes before you leave with your parents for a month long vacation during the summer holidays. the second time is when you get back from your trip, at the last summer party before school starts. you had only seen sunghoon in passing, the house being overfilled with students, but he’d find you when you walked out of the house to leave, tugging at your wrist with flushed cheeks. he’d kiss you under the flickering street lamp, and you’d smile into the kiss, pulling him closer. two years later, this goodbye resembles the one where you first kissed, but this time, you won’t come back a month later, leaving for university on the other side of the country. the kiss is bittersweet as tears roll down your cheeks and sobs leave your mouth. ten months later, you say goodbye again. sunghoon had surprised you by visiting you at university, wanting to tell you in person how he had to go abroad for a skating competition. he’d whisper that he loves you and you’d promise to wait for him, sharing one last kiss before he turns his back to you and walks through the airport gates with his head down and face stained with tears.

kissing sunoo is sweet and exciting, like a fresh breath of air. you always find each other when you have good news and the smiles on your faces are ever present when you congratulate the other with a kiss. the giggles that leave your mouth just after having given sunoo a peck are adorable to say the least and he only kisses you back because he can’t resist not doing so. you’re always happy to see him and when he sees you walking towards him with open arms, there’s no way he would refuse you anything. your friends often joke about you two, looking away and faking gagging sounds whenever you steal a kiss, but it never changes the way you look at your boyfriend with stars in your eyes and the biggest smile on your lips. truly, sunoo is just happy to have you there with him and if smiling into the kiss is the perfect way to show it, then so be it.

☆ JUNGWON ; good morning kisses

sleepovers with jungwon were a weekly thing, as being best friends with him meant that your houses were always open for each other. it was impromptu when you kissed, early in the morning while you had just been complaining about this one guy you used to like. jungwon had cut you off with a sleepy voice, asking you why'd you settle for less when he could give you so much. it wasn’t long before you were rolling in your bed, hair messy and lips red from kissing. something jungwon really liked was waking you up on the weekends, your mom letting him in and telling him you were still sleeping, like usual. he’d skip to your bedroom, sitting on the side of your bed and brushing your hair back, smiling at the pout on your face. he’d first kiss your forehead, then your cheeks, then your nose if you’d still not woken up before softly kissing your lips as you’d sleepily hook your arms around his neck, pulling him down on top of you. maybe if you were lucky, you’d convince him to nap with you but most of the times, he’d drag you out of bed, pushing you to your bathroom to freshen up while he waited for you on your bed, cheeks red and excited to spend the day with you.

☆ RIKI ; sleepy kisses

riki isn’t that fond of physical affection in public so he makes up for it in private. you remember clearly how you two got together, having shared a short kiss right before falling asleep during a sleepover with your group of friends. you and him had been pushed in the corner of the room on a single mattress and with your back to the others, it was the perfect moment to tell him how you felt. from that day on, kisses when one of you is tired is practically the norm. it’s a way of saying “you can rest now, i’ll be here for you” before the other dozes off, or “you can get through it, i’m by your side” when the tiredness is getting too much. it’s especially endearing when you two share the ride back home from school, squeezing each other’s hands and leaning in to kiss the other with a tired gaze. one of you is always awake then, just so neither of you miss your stop. riki would never admit that he prefers being the one awake though, just so that he can admire you and peck your cheek when you’re sleeping on his shoulder.

a/n: hey guys !! sorry for being so inactive, this year has been so so crazy. for starters, i lost my great grandmother january first, and then i lost my great grandfather on february twenty third. a few months later, my older brother attempted and was put into a hospital, and now my grandfather has cancer that spread to his lungs and brain. on top of everything, i’ve been preparing for my aunt’s wedding (i’m a bridesmaid) and everything has been super stressful. i wanted to post something and let you guys know that i’ll be taking a break to take time for myself and to spend time with my family. i’ll still be lurking around on the app, commenting, reblogging, etc, i just won’t be posting any fics for a little while.

  by the time chris and his brothers came back from filming, you were already asleep. chris came in the room quietly, shuffling out of his uggs and tugging his shirt over his head. he was beyond ready to just lay down with his girl, he and nick had argued which already annoyed chris, but matt had just egged it on and annoyed him even more.

putting his thoughts to the side, chris lifts up his comforter and crawls in bed with you, wrapping an arm around you as you lay on your stomach. he hears your mumble something unintelligible, making him hum and press a kiss to your cheek. chris shuffles his phone out from his pocket, planning to do a bit of scrolling on tiktok or instagram, whatever gets him tired faster.

   after about ten minutes, chris' eyes were drooping and he was fighting to keep them open. he rolled onto his other side to put his phone down, and when he rolls back over, so do you. you turn over so abruptly your hand flies out and accidentally backhands him. chris opened his mouth to make a snarky comment, but paused when he heard you mumble something.

   "chrissy...?"

   it was barely a whisper, but it makes chris move the arm that was resting on his face back to a comfortable position and whisper back to you. "im right here ma, im right here," he whispers it into your hair, pressing a kiss there after.

   you hum in content, still in a deep sleep. chris leans over once more to make sure youre still sleeping before tucking into your back and going to sleep himself.

you had been sick for the past three days, the bug that had spread through your friends ended up getting you too. and after throwing up your breakfast, you practically begged chris to just get back in bed and nap with you, too tired to stick to the plans you had for the day.

that had been over an hour ago, and chris was still wide awake as you slept on him, not that he was complaining. despite your sickness and willingness to sleep all day, just laying down with you while you napped was good enough for chris.

you beginning to mumble something snapped chris out of his trance, allowing him to listen to what you were saying.

“love you, chrissy..”

you mumble, curling into your boyfriend a little more. this caused chris to brush your hair from your face and press a kiss to your head before returning the sentiment.

“love you too ma, get some rest”

you had decided to sleep in chris’ room as he filmed a fortnite video, which proved to be a mistake as he was extremely loud. you expected him to tone it down a little since you were in there, but he had apparently forgotten all about you.

it wasnt until he got up to take a bathroom break that he saw you under the covers, eyebrows furrowed as you had a frown on your face. guilt washed over him, and despite the fact you were a heavy sleeper, he knew his noise was affecting your dreams, which in turn affected the quality of sleep you got.

once be had used the bathroom, chris came out and knelt on your side of the bed, planning on soothing the frustration on your face before going back to filming.

he rubbed your cheek, which normally eased the tension on your face but it hadn’t this time. he barely caught your mumbles over the new sound of his brothers calling his name loudly through the call, but he managed.

“stop bein’.. so loud chris”

you grumble, obviously still sleeping as a light snore followed your words. chris frowned, pressing a kiss on the bridge of your nose before replying.

“sorry ma, gonna be more quiet” he mumbled, pressing a kiss to your cheek before returning to his gaming setup. this time around, chris was 110% more focused on his noise level and how rowdy he got, not wanting to actually wake up his girl.

• For whatever reason you had some hope that they wouldn't do anything wrong, so you casually put your drink somewhere near the cauldron, leaving to go get something. 

• Grim accidently knocked over the cauldron, spilling it EVERYWHERE, and what do you know, some got into your drink! 

• "Grim! Why'd you knock over the cauldron!" Ace argued. "It was on accident!" Grim frowned. They started arguing and Deuce was just watching, until you came back and picked up your drink to drink it. 

• "Wait, no, MC!" Deuce tried to stop you from drinking it, but it was to late. Ace and Grim finally stopped arguing and looked over to see a MC with hearts in their eyes.

• if you ever watched the notebook!! he would literally renovate a whole house for you or build you one and grow old together <33 he would build it however you want it, with a balcony, with a marble kitchen, etc, anything his love wants.

• and yes, he loves unconditionally even if he doesn’t show it so much through words, he will do it through his actions. he’ll get you anything you need even if you don’t ask, from a cup of water to a fucking car. HE WOULD EVEN BUILDDD A CAR FOR YOU??

“Here,” Theo hands me a sandwich he had managed to make with the little supplies we had left, “You need to eat something.”

I absent-mindedly take the plate from him and take a bite as he sits besides me on the tattered sofa and grabs the radio on the table, fiddling around with it.

“They’ll be okay darling,” he reassures for the millionth time, switching between stations, “I promise.”

I look to him with glassy eyes and lean my head on his shoulder as he kisses the top of my head.

He finally finds the right channel and holds my hand as I continue to eat the sandwich. We listen out for any news of our families or Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Theo and I had been moving around, camping here and there for a few months now. Lord knows where the other three had gotten to. Looking for them would be foolish and most likely unfruitful under these circumstances. Theo had been comforting me and making sure I sustained myself this whole time, I don’t really know what I’d’ve done without him.

“Theo, can I ask you something out of the blue?” I asked him as he lifted a cup of tea to his lips, raising his eyebrows and humming, “Do you still love me?” I questioned in a way that wasn’t accusatory, but rather of wonder.

His eyes glassed over slightly as he put his cup away and looked to me with a confused- almost offended expression. “Why would you ask that?”

“I don’t know we just haven’t been this close and alone since.. The Yule Ball and I wasn’t sure where we stood.” I shrugged, trying to read his thoughts.

“Tesoro,” he started “I look for you in every crowd, I search for your eyes in the nature around me. I savour and stretch any moment we have together. I endlessly shame myself for leaving you  that day, but it was a necessary evil. I couldn’t let you get hurt. Not even a little bit. I lett you patch me up after fights even when I don’t like people helping me. I talk to you about my mother and father and I take delight in all your accomplishments. I love the way you talk to me, I love the way you are and I am eternally grateful that you’ve forgiven me somehow.”

I look at him with teary eyes and big smile on my face as he recisprocates and grabs my face in his warm hands smiling at me, “Doubt whether stars are fire; or the sun moves across the sky; or truth itself be a liar; but never doubt whether I love you.”

I kiss him softly.

“Hey I wanted to ask you,” I began as the smooth chatter of the radio fades into the background and he looks at me with his blue eyes, “Do you think we should go back to Grimmauld place? I mean it’d be a lot safer than us being in the middle of fucking nowhere, we’d be able to see everyone else and we’re running out of supplies anyways.”

Just as Theo opened his mouth to respond, a letter flew into the tent in front of us as Theo and I instinctively grabbed our wands before seeing the parchment.

Theo gives me a confused look as I say, “Who’d know we were here?” and grabs the envelope.

He opens it cautiously as I keep my wand pointed at it, just in case, and starts to read the contents aloud.

“Dearest Y/n, it pains me to have to invite you to this bloodbath or anywhere near it but I am doing so with The Order’s direct command. We are all either stationed or arriving to Hogwarts for the upcoming battle, you and Theodore should get here as soon as possible, and please darling at least for my sake, try and keep out of danger. I cannot say much at this point but you must get here quickly. Come to your common room and when you arrive, I’ll be there. Yours, Sirius.”

Theo and I stand in silence for a few minutes, rereading the letter again and again until Theo backs away and starts preparing a bag big enough for one. I break out of my gaze and collect some of my things I need to bring and pass them to Theo to put in the bag but all he does is give me a look of confusion.

“What’s this for?”

“My things?”

Something crosses Theo’s face before he hides it with a blank look, he returns to his packing and clears his throat before saying, “No, you need to stay here.”

“What?” I say, astounded at his words, “What do you mean stay here?! I’m coming with you, Sirius told both of us to come.”

He abruptly stopped packing and sighed, giving me a look of desperation and exhaustion. “Listen to me,” he begged, stepping closer and taking my hands in his slightly shaky ones, “You need to stay here. You’ve already been though too much and if Bellatrix sees you I have no idea what she’ll do but I will not risk your safety. Not ever. So please darling, please listen to me for once and stay here.”

“Theo that’s so unreasonable, what if I’m in-”

“If you are in danger,” he breaks me off “Go to Grimmauld Place and send me a patronus immediately. If you come to Hogwarts with me, I’d be worrying about you the entire time anyways, and you’d be targeted along with Harry.”

“What if you get hurt?” I ask, shoving my thoughts aside for a moment, lowering my voice at the thought.

He pauses, staring at my eyes, his swimming in hesitancy, “Darling I’d rather it be me than you.”

“Theo-” he kisses me suddenly before I can protest, he runs his hands though my hair and the other on the small of my back. He kisses me for the first time, and he kisses me as though its our last. 

He breaks away and looks at me with teary eyes,

“Sei il mio cuore, la mia vita, il mio unico e solo pensiero.”

You are my heart, my life, my one and only thought.

He looks lovingly into my eyes as though trying to memorise every detail about me before rolling is eyes, sighing and blinking tears away as he smiles and looks to the ceiling before bringing me to his chest and saying, “I know you.”

I look up at him with confusion as he holds me in his arms, his hands on either side of my waist as he looks down at me, “I know you, and I know that you’re going to come to Hogwarts anyway. No matter what I say.”

He smiles at me sadly as I snicker in his chest amongst tears, “But I swear if you hurt yourself,” he warns, resting his chin on the top of my head.
