How do you picture Dorcas home life?

her parents are separated, she lives with her dad who's a muggleborn (her mum's a witch but she's not really in contact much), so she has a very complicated relationship with the wizarding world, like a lot of what her mum wants to talk about when she does contact her is only like how is school, about her magic, & dorcas feels like she only cares about that aspect of her life. her dad's called robert (goes by bob) & cannot choose a solid name for her mum atm sorry. but uh she lives in a flat in belfast with her dad, goes to work with him sometimes, when she was younger this meant just playing & talking to his coworkers at building sites but as she got older she started helping out during summer holidays. uh bob tries his hardest to help out dorcas with her magic stuff, lowk he would 100% write a letter to dumbledore to ask how he can help dorcas prepare & also why the train can't just pick her up in ireland or at least like north/midlands of england, instead of having to travel down to london only to go back up again. he's also v supportive of her lesbianism. she's an only child so growing up it was just her, her dad, & then like her dad's friends & the neighbours in the building. went to a normal primary school at first but dropped out due to accidents around her magic, so she got homeschooled near the end of primary by one of her neighbours. uhh i can't think of what else to say but like. fairly happy childhood minus yknow mother issues, racism in being black in ireland during 1970s, & the troubles going on.
