hiraeth. YES I WILL FINISH IT ONE DAY. ITS GOT REALLY NICE LORE. being the first bigger project i've tried to write since i unretired from mcsr, i adored being able to a) worldbuild and b) WRITE IN CHAPTERS. its so hard to write fics in one go my patience wears itself out

lappel du vide. you know nothing about lappel yet. you know nothing, but the plan was like 4k words and now you know something. boy do i have things planned for these stupid ranked runners. the darkness came when doogile was just a boy, after all

mcsrtober. im not as proud of my mcsrtober because i like editing things over and over and over again and mcsrtober simply doesnt allow the time for that. however i think i cooked really hard on some of the prompts and the ones yet to come (peepocute banger one on the 26th i think). like day 2. a full-on 4+1 fic. beautiful

there's a lot to come, i think. theres so many thoughts and not enough time to express them, and im only going to get more and more busy from now on. it's going to be walright. you know, theres a cool thing called a winter big bang, and the word count is projected to be around 18k...and its a oneshot...........................

These are literally just CC's toys, idk if they're replica's or the real ones, but like why would they even put that on display lmao??? It may just be a fun easter egg but like this just comes across as if saying "yeah, here's the toys of the child that one of out animatronic killed lol" And that's not even starting to how they even PROCURED these???

At the far end of RR is the Ennard cardboard cutout, which may just be a piece of decor that i'm looking into too much but like if its not, then this implies that Fazbear Entertainment KNOWS about Ennard. As to how, I'm not sure, maybe since the games are cannon because of the "rogue indie developer", they came to know of Ennard's existence, does that mean they know what he did to Michael? and if so, they STILL made a cut out of him???? Is this one of those instances where a company "pokes fun" at itself in order to seem hip and cool?? because that's so messed up lmao 😭😭😭 do you think when Glamfreddy sees the cutout he has a visceral flashback to…something....and suddenly he's on the floor, just unable to move because he's reliving that something, and then he's just panicking for what ever reason and just shuts down windows XP style and has to manually be transferred back into his green room.

Its almost cruel in a way how Rockstar Row is basically just a MUSEUM for all of Michael's trauma and failures, and he probably can't even ignore it because he probably has to keep his greenroom curtains open 24/7 to ensure that guests can see GlamFreddy, and the fact that the Foxy cutout is directly parallel to his greenroom AND THATS NOT EVEN TO *BEGIN* WITH THE PLUSH BABY'S, IMAGINE IF GLAMFREDDY WAS FACED WITH A SITUATION WHERE HE HAD TO SIGN HIS AUTOGRAPH ONTO A PLUSHIE THAT IS OF THE ROBOT THAT KILLED HIS SISTER ALL THOSE YEARS AGO, Its so crazy how FazEnt just....makes merch of all the tragedy?? So I romanced Astarion and let him ascend and I'm not going to lie, I always had a bit of a hate towards people who look down on me and call me or well, my characters, pet and such. And Astarion didn't change that, especially with the degradation part

But

Imagining the future where my character slowly becomes miserable with Astarion because while he does love her, he doesn't see her as his equal. And I mean even if you want to break up with him after the ascension and defeated brain he just doesn'tlet you (though im not there yet, i just read it somewhere). Imagining him slowly becoming furious, compelling my character to do things, to love him and then anger turns into desperation and hell, he just wants her, what can he do to make her love him again, what does she want, he will give it to her

Anyway I just want them to be happy, then miserable, then to slowly learn to love each other again with Astarion begrudgingly being a tiny bit nicer to others (cause my character mostly likes being nice but also she was an urchin, she's not above blackmail and deception and such. Ohh plus she's a bard, imagine Astarion wanting her to sing again but she doesn't so he makes her and it just breaks the trust again and again

And a scene where she escapes and then Astarion finds her and brings hell with him and kills whoever decided to help her and he's slowly breaking her spirit from the strong and defying woman she was, not realising at first that it's breaking him too.

(I especially like that little movement, swinging himself a bit when you ask if you can talk about your relationship with him and he responds "yes, my treasure?" *happy swingies, he's so happy and cute* and then cuts to him being angry and desperate and sad that his love doesn't look at him with adoration anymore, that the look he receives is not even angry but empty)

And the realization that oh no, did he became another Cazador? But no, he is better than him, he doesn't treat you like he was treated! ...does he?

One of my main inspirations for durgetash and consequently my arch nemesis the longfic and my pen name as well as the longfics names is D. Gray Man. Some random anime I watched as a kid that I don't remember jack shit about.

Except for one particular scene/storyline/song.

Lala's Lullaby aka 'Lacrimosa'.

Just a doll, singing a prayer for a human.

It's so insubstantial, considering how long the series is. It's such a tiny, minor arc. But holy fuck I'm never gonna get over it.

'Are you sleeping? Then I'll sing you a lullaby.' Just fucking stab me won't you? That would be nicer actually.

So anyway now I'm crying again.

And for those who don't want to break their hearts like me, a quick recap behind the cut cuz yes I'm not gonna spoil an anime that's nearly 2 decades old.

A suffering society built dolls to sing and dance and to distract them from their pain, even if just for a minute. Those dolls very much looked like how you imagine a doll. Either way, the city fell, and the dolls all broke except for one that continued to sing for no one in particular until a child stumbled into the ruins one day (the child, in fact, was an outcast, as it was disfigured).

The doll took care of the child, and the child cared for her. Giving her a name, fixing her hair and putting a bandage over her broken eye. And they just lived in harmony and peace until protagonist came about and wanted to take the thing that powered the doll.

So of course fighting ensued between several parties. Until the now grown up child took the killing blow aimed at the doll. So shit halted and protag allowing the couple to fulfil their final wish, with Lala sending the man off and no one but the man being allowed to stopped lala in the end.

But with her energy spent, her core gona and her time running out anyway, Lala returns to her doll like appearance, becoming unable to utter anything but the programmed sentences. Inquiring if Sir Human would like to hear a song to which the man just begins crying and professing his love with his dying breath. To which the doll replies by asking if he's sleeping and proceeding to sing Lacdimosa, a prayer to send off the dead and beg for mercy for their souls.

As soon as her song finishes, she breaks.

Oh also the man was dying anyway. And despite their appearances being flipped before, he man wearing an inhumane mask and the doll looking incredibly human, in the end he looses his mask and the doll becomes a doll again. And in the end she just calls him sir human again, not by the name she used before. Just offering a song, like the first time they met so many years ago.

I'm so cool about this. I'm definitely not permanently ruined by what's like 10 minutes of television.
