"When we find something fresh enough to cook." her words add in a mutter and then a laugh. "Can any of us hunt?" the small group they've joined is a mix match, and Dani is certain that Beatriz has become their unofficial mother. "The motel. Just back there?" she gestures with a nod, referring to the fence surrounding the parking lot and the worn sign indicating a place they could rest from the cold. "Maybe it is not so bad inside. No rat shit or anything." Dani suggests, shrugging while she moves to some cupboards to look for anything else worth taking.
