ok so funny ass story @gertthewise randomly came across my blog and followed me because they liked my art and i saw i had a new follower and i was like oh cool. and because sometimes they're just bots i like to scroll through my followers' blogs to see what kinda stuff they post and after scrolling for a while i saw his art and i was like. "wait a fucking minute THIS IS SOMEONE I KNOW IRL" because i recognized a drawing they posted in a server. i was really confused because i didnt share my tumblr user so i was like huh?? how did you find me???? followed back and then sent an ask that was like "WHAT". then i talked to them irl and they were like HUH THATS YOU??? and i was even MORE CONFUSED because what are the likelihoods of an irl friend/acquaintance stumbling onto my extremely small blog??? but turns out we share a moot so that probably explains it. but. STILL LMAO. also sorry for pinging you but i had to share its too funny

Why is it so hard to not spoil everything i want to write for my fic? LIKE HELLO? My brain is out to get me😔

I'm literally gnawing on metal to keep from spewing my ideas out on the internet. I want to talk about it so badly!!!! I may fly by the seat of my pants, but when I plan it's so hard to keep it to myself!

I've talked about some of my ideas with a moot of mine, but i'm trying to keep soooome of it secret for when it's posted. but i hate secrets... i need everyone to know everything always.

its really important to me that max remains as distinct from mighty as possible because i don't want to downplay how mighty's sacrifice really resonated with me as someone who struggles with ideation, but it's also really important to me that max still cherishes the memories of an identity that he no longer considers himself because he doesn't want to let them be forgotten. that's how he's able to be re-integrated into the family - shiro understands that they aren't the same but he also doesn't want max to have to find himself all alone, so he thinks of max as an entirely different son. ivory is probably the most hesitant to this really abrupt change, because he has the least amount of context (shirobon has already gone through the arc of acceptance in realizing that mighty is dead and max is not him) but eventually everyone is able to come to an understanding :)
