I've been looking for this one au where Len basically becomes a mad scientist and turns his friends into robots one by one for a while now, and I'm beginning to realize that I just read through your blog while half asleep a few months back and mixed together my memories of your flower hivemind and composite au
this is very funny to me. i'm absolutely honored this blog's posts were enough to evil-farming-game an entire vocaloid au into your memories 😂
i can give you this doodle; it's composite au but i'm sure it'd fit very well with this theoretical mad scientist len au lololl
#ask#anonymous#this is ALSO funny to me bc of 'mad scientist' and 'flower hivemind au' in the same paragraph. it reminds me of an old scrapped idea#i had about where tf the flowers even came from in the first place but i ended up never doing anything w/ it#i've been thinking abt composite au though uag i want to do more w/ it... rip the unfinished refs and one google doc thing i have#shaking myself like ITS OKAY IF THE STORY KINDA SUCKS AT FIRST!! YOU NEED TO START SOMEWHERE#cus i mean i wouldve never gotten anywhere w/ Certain Things had i not started with the og shitty versions. which were SHIT#but its wild to think ~7 years later i transmogrified them into the things they are now. wack. makes me wonder what will happen#to stuff im making now later down the line if i go and revisit it. SO CONCLUSION YES BITCH GET OVER YOUR FUCKING ANXIETY#i think my other problem is i'd loveee to reveal it slowly with like art pieces comics etc but i dont got time for that 😔😔#CURSE WITH LITERALLY EVERYTHING I MAKE TBH not just fandom shit but original shit too. i need to get over myself#cause i do know respectfully not everyone has the skill/time/desire to pick apart things for symbolism so a clearer explanation#would prob be more accessible. and easier for ME TOO TO HAVE SHIT IN ONE FUCKING PLACE MAN. actually how i've been taking notes lately#sorry these are some longass fucking tags im talking to myself. just went into a new academic year w a lot of stress#so thinking abt my own crazy stories keeps me sane and makes me feel like i have control over at least SOME aspect of my life#anyways circling back mad scientist len sounds incredible lowkey though lmao. its always the stem lens 😔💔✌️#JK?? but i do joke abt composite au len partly going insane bc he's a biochem major essentially so yeah bitch i fucking get it 😭 no wonder

people at my table in bio are sooo annoying why are you mad that the teacher answered your question -_-
#also they keep being homophobic and transphobic and racist and so on so forth. unsurprising!#and theyll all be talking to each other while im trying to tell the guy who writes bc he has the best handwriting what to write#bc im the only one who pays attention -_-......#they all got 60s on the first exam we had and one of them was like ''well now i know i need to read the textbook!'' and its like.#you should have known because shes been saying that you need to read the textbook.#theyre a nightmare i really thought being in a bio/biochem majors only class would mean the other students would actually care about#or be interested in the class?? like why are you even a bio major

could be just me and my former biochem student haunting me but...
how do elements affect and define a ghoul's biology in your headcanon? due to being affected by all of them, do prism's horns and scales feel like diamond or really tough glass?
what about swiss maybe? do ghouls have genetics of sorts?
(sorry if this is overwhelming, im super curious about your ocs eek 👉👈)
I love the curiosity! Especially this question, cause it's so interesting to think about.
I'm not sure if its exactly genetics in the sense that we as human and other organisms of earth have genetics, as demons, and therefore ghouls, don't procreate or originate on the terrestrial plane. So, there really is no need for genetics. I usually refer to it as their elemental composition when I'm talking about the ghouls, and it's almost like how a molecule is built if I were to visually picture it, especially for Multighouls. Or, it's also like an alchemical elixir recipe, if I'm getting all classical about my references for the ghouls.
I guess in a way, you could view the features and characteristics of the element presentations as something like pseudo-genetics, as it mirrors the way we can have different features depending on our parents. But, it's really just the way the elements decide to "solidify" when the ghouls were originally summoned into a terrestrial form.
For each element, there are common features that are usually present in a ghouls appearance, like the hues of their skin or horns, but also things could be random and unnatural even for the ghouls. A few examples of this are Phantom's eyes being really dark for a Quint ghoul, or Cirrus's hair being dark and straight when Air ghouls often have light curly hair, as well as Aurora's sclera's being purple and her iris lacking a defined pupil. The elements heavily define the appearance in a ghoul, but its not the end all be all. Its purely how a ghouls elemental composition forms, stronger towards some features, not as much for others.
Now Multighouls are where it get fun. This is the part where elemental composition really gets funky. A multi ghoul features, depending on how many elements are composed of, have a much larger pool of features to pull from. So, for our dual element gals Aurora and Sunshine, their features are almost split down the middle for each of their elements, just their Quint and Fire features being the more noticeable or dominant ones. As a multighoul has more and more elements within their composition, its more common to see them have one major element, and then the others taking a back seat.
So for Prism, that was the case for their composition. They have the most Quint and Air features, not as much Fire and Earth, and then barely any for Water. And yes, their horns are diamond/crystal like. If I wear to actually try and execute them better, the horns would be reflecting and translucent in some parts.
Now, for Swiss. I don't think I've ever talked about Swiss's elemental composition to anyone. The way his composition manifested, it's actually really hard to tell what elements are dominant in his design (mainly because of his visual concept being what's called subtractive color synthesis). But his composition is Fire, then Earth, then Air, then Quint, and finally barely any Water. The hue of his skin and horns comes from Fire and Earth ghoul features, his ears are Fire, his eyes are a mixture of Fire and Quint, his hair texture is Air, but the color is Fire and Earth, and his multiple sharp teeth is a Water feature.
But yeah, that's how my ghouls' appearances work. :D

Tim Drake x Reader
warning; none ! author's note; despite my whole ocean theme, i LOVEEEEE psychology !! :3 ofc i want to be a marine biologist, but forensic psychology will always hold a special place in my heart aka my back up option ! also, with school coming up + the fact im taking ap psych this year, i thought this would be a good motivation T^T
“Hey, babe ! Did you know that being in love biochemically is the same as an obsessive disorder ?" You were taking ap psychology and, to be honest, it was kicking your butt a bit. However, having a master detective as a boyfriend always helped ! Plus, it made the whole thing a little more fun. The soft smell of coffee, the scratching of pencil on paper, and the occasional kiss whenever you'd answer a question correctly. Sure, you could've just bought a Psychology for Dummies book, but it was so much easier, and more fun, to ask the boy genius that was Tim Drake for help ! "Hmm, that's a new one. Maybe that's why I like being around you so much !" He joked with a soft smile. Ever the softie he was for you, he pressed a quick kiss to your cheek before continuing what he was doing. There was the normal stuff to go over; Who was the father of psychology, what were the five major perspectives, Freud's Theory of Personality. All of which you had gone over for hours judging by the number of times Alfred had walked past. "Timm, I'm bored of all this stuff ! If I have to read one more sentence about Aristotle, I'm going to lose my mind," You groaned, putting your head on the table. "We can take a break if you want, rose. It's been a while since we started..." With that, you grabbed his hand and rushed off to the garden. Flowers covered the gazebo, the sun reflecting on your skin making you glow a honey sort of brown. "Maybe it's just the sleep deprivation talking, but you look beautiful," Tim teased, his cheeks a soft shade of pink and his eyes never once leaving you. He could've been right, maybe it was just his sleep deprivation, but any old lesson in psychology would've taught you it was oxytocin. Love that was undescribable by any old philosopher.
kinda sucks, but it was mainly for pure self indulgence anyways ! i love you tim drake matching my crippling psychology nerd stuff

Okay random ask: do you have any headcanons for what the jjk cast would study in college?
hii bre hope youre well !!! thank you for the ask :D
i think yuuji would enjoy being a photography student. he would like capturing people at their happiest moments, and for him it’s a way of making connections.
i’ve said this a few times but i love the idea of megumi as an ecology major. he’s very concerned with animals but i dont think he has the heart to be a vet. he’d take having to put animals down too personally. so instead i see him doing ecology and getting into environmental preservation.
maybe a bit of a standard answer but i think nobara would major in fashion. she loves clothes as we know, but i also think she would love the creativity.
yuuta would enjoy psychology. he spent a lot of time as kid being very lonely, so he tries to understand people so they don’t feel the same way, and psychology would be perfect for him
i always see maki as a woman in stem, but im not sure which kind of stem…maybe computer science? she likes things that are very methodical and formulaic, rather than humanistic studies
toge…i’m not sure. i was thinking maybe he’d be into something visual, like art or graphic design, but then he also seems to enjoy flowers like from jjk0 so maybe botany would be an option as well.
for gojo, shoko, and geto i fear my brain is too shaped by canon, so i can only see gojo as a physics/math major, shoko as a biochem major/pre med student, and geto as a philosophy/theology major
nanami would be a business major, but i think he’d do something for fun on the side like an art or music minor or something
choso i can see being very indecisive about his major. he wants to learn Everything, so he ends up with like two majors and three minors and is perpetually exhausted from having to overload his schedule. but i can see him being most passionate abt education, specifically early childhood education

Hi! I'm honestly excited that tumblr recommended me a good blog for once. It's nice to see other trans ppl living their best life out here.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind a question, but I'm currently an undergrad and really interested in grad school. idk how applicable your experience would be since im a comp sci student, but what's it like in grad school? how accepting has it been of trans people for you? do you have any recommendations on what to do to increase the chance of getting in?
p.s. idk a ton about biochemistry or genetics, but i have a friend who's super into it (he's also planning on going to grad school for it lol), and I love hearing him talk about it. so I'm also curious as to what you're doing :o
Grad school is broken up into phases in my experience, which is dependent on institution and major. For me, year one is classes and rotations, the latter of which is 7 week trials in a lab of interest to get a feel for their work and the lab social and mentor environ. Classes generally compose discussing research techniques and recent publications, and test you on your ability to read research literature and understand it as well as propose follow up investigations. Year two is finishing classes and starting work on your thesis projects, as well as completing preliminary exams, which for biochem are written (grant proposal) and oral (ppt presentation of grant proposal). Year two has less classes than year one and your actual lab work dominates most of your time. Year 3, 4, and 5 are basically spent having a full time job as a senior lab researcher where you are expected to learn your local field well enough to come up with an idea and pursue it to discover or demonstrate something novel in the form of your thesis, as well as publish at least one paper on your work in the meantime.
My institution has not had any issues with trans ppl in my experience. I came out to my lab in Oct of 2023, and gradually to my classmates and the wider program over the following months. Administrative staff and professors have been very on the ball with my pronouns and chosen name, and our program recently got a new professor who is also a trans woman. I won't say which institution to reduce the amount i dox myself, but safe to say I'm content in regards to my treatment as a transgender person.
Getting into grad school usually requires demonstrated undergraduate research or a gap period of research employment after undergrad. I did some undergraduate work (though not strictly in my field) and a year of relevant employment after undergrad. 3 months into said employment I applied for grad school lol which was a little earlier than usually advised bc i hadn't been there long. (My post-bac PI was very demanding and restrictive so I wanted out ASAP). The main things grad schools are looking for is are you able to talk about research you're doing now, what research you want to do, and why you've chosen their institution. They want you to demonstrate you have an interest in researching topics they have professors willing to support, and also that you have the problem solving and data analysis skills to adequately perform research work and operate semi-independently. Having undergraduate or post-bac research that you can explain in detail why you did certain things, what the motivation is, what the goal is, etc is how you prove your worth to grad recruiters (who are usually professors looking for students).
My work is specifically focused on the use of short synthetic peptides to sense the activity of kinases, which regulate pathways in the human body related to growth, division, and apoptosis. When kinases are disregulated it causes various diseases, but it's hard to test drugs for many of these kinases bc there aren't effective monitors for their activity that don't get a lot of false positives due to overlapping signal pathways. The use of synthetic peptides with certain sequences gets around that issue of false positives, and they can be modified to provide information about how effectively a kinase is binding and interacting with the peptide, which would change under exposure to effective inhibitor drugs for those kinases. TL;DR I make little bits of protein to bind other broken proteins and tell me when they're turned on so other ppl can design drugs to turn them off.
Pls let me know if you have any further questions, I apologize that I don't know any comp-sci majors so this might be wildly inaccurate in some regards. XD

SAINT! you are so cool! if I may ask, please share some study tips on how you do so well on hard stem classes! atomic theories are killing rn 🥲
anon beloved thank u <3 im not cool though im a bit of a loser fhdoad i spend a LOT of time studying. like. a lot. and i think that's my biggest tip for doing well in classes. you need to carve out suitable time for studying outside of the week (or for some people the day or two) before an exam. studying is a constant and neverending process throughout the semester. it really does suck sometimes....very sisyphus pushing a bolder up a hill type shit...but it makes it so worth it come exam season.
on average i spent about 3 hours a day on schoolwork outside of class. sometimes that's homework and sometimes thats going over lectures i didn't feel great about in class. on Saturdays and Sundays i usually spent about 4 hours each day on school. i would get breakfast with my friends and then head down to the library immediately after so that i could get it over with and have the rest of the afternoon and night for like. actual, socializing, lol.
all those hours go up the week (as in starting the full seven days) before any exam.
i always ALWAYS go to office hours when im struggling even a teensy bit. and i also go to office hours the week before an exam whether i feel good about the material or not. i think I've mentioned this tip before but depending on how chill a professor is you can often get major hints on what the exam will focus on and/or include.
actual study tips i dont really have much to say beyond repetition is your friend. things like metabolic biochem that involve memorizing pathways....you have to bite the bullet and memorize one step at a time. and then do it over and over and over and over and over again. do it until you can get it done perfectly without any help and then do it one more time after that so it sticks. same goes with any worksheets you get in class, practice problems, etc. do them all until they are forever burned in your mind.
memorizing sucks, it really does, but it does often help with understanding the material as well. and like i said, whatever you dont understand, head STRAIGHT to office hours with. office hours are often a life saver. i promise. i PROMISE!
also im a huge fan of studying groups!!! other people will often understand things you dont and you will often understand things others dont. and teaching others will really cement the concept in your brain, i think this is like? proven by actual studies.
manifesting a great end of quarter/semester for you anon!!! and a good rest of your academic career!!

just finished reading the new writing and med student or should I say Lorelai is a lot more unstable than I thought at the end lmao I love girlie lots tho! I also find it funny how you kept some of my writing in there and ended up making her darling a tired med student too 😭
poor Lorelai is a big little bit of a creep all because she wants validation from her crush who just doesn’t care for her still in the end. I also find it interesting with how with her the roles are a bit switched up. As usually the yandere would be somewhat a bit more dominate at times while Lorelai is a girl failure as she becomes the slightest bit unstable when she feels/knows her delusion is unraveling. Also if she doesn’t get validation from the person she’s crushing on💀
anyways my girl Lorelai is a bit different from the others but we love her 💗
-🌪️
HII OOMFIEIE I HOPE U ENJOYED IT >.<
i was a little nervous u wouldnt and spent a little more time on it than usual fics! i hope u did :33
I was ngl a bit bored of the weak darling x mega strong yandere thing I kept doing and tried going a different direction, tbh i rlly fw it !! I enjoyed writing it and reading it and idk it was more fun to write than the whole "Marry me or perish"
ALSO if i was a med student and I had some needy desperate stalker I personally would've lost my mind ;; studying medicine in general is horrifying and i can testify it since Im currently a BioChem major :( shits tough oomf
This girlie is starving for real compliments rather than those fake compliments people would tell her to get in her good graces, and knowing you don't care for her or her status Lorelai definitely thinks that one day when you end up loving her as she loves you, you will. The unstable scene btw WAS SO MUCH FUN!! can u tell i had fun writing it lol
ALSO ALSO ur ideas are always fire oomf ofc id put them in my fics !!!

Hi so I'm gonna be applying to uni next year and I was pretty sure i wanted to apply for chemistry but now im not sure if i want to do that or apply for biochemistry, i really love both biology and chemistry and im finding it so hard to try and pick between the two so i was wondering if you could give me any advice ♥ thanks in advance :)
Hi there!
Before I switched to chemistry I used to study biotech (where I had to take a biochem course), so naturally my experience is very limited, but I'll try my best :)
I think if you genuinely enjoy both chemistry and biology then biochem might be the better choice here. That's not to say you'd necessarily be unhappy studying "pure" chem, but you may like biochem a lot more. If you like biology but see yourself leaning more towards chemistry, then I encourage you to consider something like biological chemistry or medicinal chemistry :)
An important thing to keep in mind is this: how do you feel about studying something interdisciplinary? Biochemistry is a fascinating mixture of chemistry, cell biology, microbiology (and possibly more, but I'm not that knowledgeable), so if you have a lot of interest in many different aspects of the natural sciences - that might be it. But on the other hand, you won't always be able to dive in really deep like you probably would in chemistry, as you'll have to combine chunks of knowledge and skills from all these different areas of science. That's neither good nor bad. It all comes down to a matter of personal preference. For me, that was a downside of biotech - that it was too broad. For many people, that is its greatest strength. How do you feel about it?
Also, check out the syllabi!! If you visit the websites of the universities you're interested in, the syllabi should be freely available. Look through them. What will you have to study as a chemistry student vs a biochemistry student? What courses will you have to take? What will the courses be about? What practicals will be there?
You can also look up things like "study chemistry" or "study biochemistry" on yt. Some of the bigger unis upload short videos where students talk about their majors and show what they do in a day. It doesn't have to be a video from your preferred uni - it's just supposed to give you a general sense of what you'd study if you picked a certain major. It's what I did. It reassured me chemistry was the right choice for me :)
Good luck!
#tagging accordingly as usual#biochemists welcome :)#studyblr#chemistry#biochemistry#biology#chemblr#bioblr#stemblr#sciblr#inbox#chemistry asks

hey! i've been following you through tsunami from the last six months and made my way here after the introduction of arsenic blues and i've learned to treat your words as gospel bc ur a literal genius!!!
anyways you've mentioned that (correct me if i'm wrong) you are going the psycharity route through a psychology major. funny enough i've been considering psychiatry for a while as i know that i want to be in the medical field and this route aligns best with my interests.
anyways i was wondering about the route you're taking and any insider tips and tricks (of sorts) that you have. i'm totally dreading med school and the MCAT and essentially the entire academic process. (i would totally consider being a therapist and going more that route but i do want to learn a lot of the emergency aid as a backup and for like practical purposes and also i need that salary in this economy...)
anyways, so what classes do you feel is the best in helping you (or the most interesting lol)? what about the major bc im worried that biochem or something else will give me a lot of unnecessary classes that only may or may not help me on the mcat? how do you manage your time and study in general?
anything helps! (this is going to be so embarrassing if i get some of the facts wrong lol)
i haven't taken the mcat yet or prepped for it, but this man i knew HEAVILY recommended using the kaplan mcat prep books because that helped him the most
this is the link but dont buy it until you're ready to start studying
as for classes, i can't really tell you which classes you take because it all depends in your school. i do suggest to check your college website to see if it has a page with a list of recommended classes needed for med school. if there's no page, then please PLEASE go talk to a guidance counselor/advisor so they could tell you what premed courses to take
i think it'd be easier to major in biology cuz a lot of classes required for the major also fall under the requirements for med school! i just really really really like psychology more, so i decided to major in that. you can do that too, but just be aware you'd be taking classes for your GE requirements, major requirements, AND premed requirements. you most likely won't be able to graduate within the timeframe you want.
when you're picking your classes for the semester tho.... pls don't stack together all your stem courses like i'm doing lol. i'm taking a bio with lecture and lab, an anthro class with lecture and lab, a calculus class, and some psych classes. unless you're absolutely certain that you can handle the stress, i suggest you take a few stem classes and a few non-stem classes to even it out.
(beware that if you do shit in the semester, you'll be put in academic probation 💀)
another thing you should note, there are two types of med school: an md (doctor of medicine) and DO (doctor of osteopathic medicine). do is the "easier" (it's actually not, just easier compared to md) path and not as competitive. psychiatry is both MD and DO friendly which is good, but the issue is that some residency programs are elitist and look down on DOs 🙄
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, FIND CLINICAL EXPERIENCE!!! i can't help you with that because i haven't done any yet 💀
actually i was wrong, this is the most important: GET SCHOLARSHIPS!!!! AND GRANTS!!!! MEDICAL SCHOOL IS PRICY!!!!

hiii i noticed in one of your posts you mentioned that you were premed and i wanted to ask you for some advice!! im an incoming premed freshman (majoring in biochem but im debating on switching to neuro) and im kinda nervous lol. do you have any tips on how to stay on top of things and balance classes with clinical work and research? thank u <3
omg omg omg IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY ok so i have a ton of advice but i'll try to be brief
1) im putting this paragraph first because this is the most important advice i can give you. like seriously if you listen to nothing else listen to this:
you can't know everything
this isn't high school where you just have to memorize where the 50 states are on a map. this is college where you have to know the entire krebs cycle after it's only been explained once and that's like only 10% of the info on the exam. so the best thing you can do for yourself is accept when you've hit a plateau and move onto something else. for example, say you've got a bio exam and a psych exam coming up. it takes you 20 hours of genuine study time to master 93% of the the material in bio. it would take another 20 for you to get to 95%. but with that other 20 hours, you could master 96% of the material for psych. your brain wants to say "well i'll just spend 60 hours studying then" but believe me i know from experience that you can't do that without serious harm to you mental and physical health. it's so so SO much better to study the 40 hours and accept a 93 on bio and a 96 in psych. and then you can use the extra 20 to get more sleep, hang out with friends, volunteer, work in a research lab, or he'll study for another subject. you will love college and being a premed so much more if you do that
2) im a neuro major so ur an anon after my own heart. idk what the major is like at ur school but at mine it's really flexible and has a lot of cool opportunities attached to it so i would definitely reccomend it. the cool thing is tho you're just starting out so, provided you don't have to swap to a different school (engineering, arts and sciences, etc.), then you can definitely take time to figure out what you want. i came into college wanting to do neuro and bio double, switched to a single major in a completely different area, and then added on a neuro major recently so the most important thing at this point is to keep your options open
3) time management depends a lot on the school you attend. i attend a fairly good university, so i spend a shit ton of time studying and don't have as much time left over for volunteering/research. luckily med schools generally account for that stuff, so just keep that in mind if you're getting a little bit of imposter syndrome. anyway, the best advice i can give you right now is to just get involved. don't assume that because you're a freshman that people won't value your input or enthusiasm
4) organization is your best friend. i use an app/website called "my study life" to track my homework and classes and have found it to be super helpful, but there are tons of other homework apps out there. it's also worth having an up to date calendar for any non-curricular things you need to keep track of, like volunteering. i just use the reminders app and make sure it's synced across my devices. you can't manage your time if you don't know what assignments you have to do or what you have scheduled that day
5) keep your priorities straight. what matters most to you will change from month to month, so making sure you're confident in what you're prioritizing and why is huge. for example, say you have finals in 4 weeks. if you want to start studying 2 weeks prior to your exams, put in extra effort and time with your research/volunteering in the 2 weeks prior to that and make sure your supervisors/primary investigators know that you won't be able to dedicate as much time during finals. you should still keep up with your responsibilities, but you need to dedicate the majority of your energy to finals because unfortunately grades do matter here.
6) it's ok to take breaks, it's ok to take a lighter semester, it's ok to hang out with friends, and it's ok to fuck up. everyone has to figure this shit out and there will be lots of things that look like failures but are actually blessings in disguise. for example: i got a C+ in gen chen and a B in bio my freshman year. some people would have retaken the class but i kept going, and in the process i learned a lot about myself and my study habits. i also learned that the purpose of weed out classes isn't to sort out the students who don't do well in classes, it's to sort out the people who will stop after failure. so i took that C+, new study habits, and new perspectives with me through my other tough science classes during my next two years and turned my grades around. now what started as a "death sentence" for most pre meds is an awesome cinderella story of perseverance that i can reflect on during my application cycle (all of those skills will also help me in med school too!)
i hope this was helpful and if you want anymore advice my inbox/dms are always open!

Okay I figured I should make an intro post(sorry it’s really long I’m a complex person and idk how to be concise lol)
Hii im sage 👋🏻
I’m 18, in college (kind of on a break this semester long story) and I love books, art, music, science and writing(as well as a bunch of other stuff lol)
I’m Christian, but I’m 100% not intolerant or hateful I’m also not conservative!! I don’t think anyone could really follow the teachings of Jesus without leftist convictions!! If you don’t chill with religious people that’s fine BUT this is a safe place for people of any faiths or convictions ily all mwah
I’m an artist/scientist and I used to think the two were separate but more and more I’ve realized that art and science are one and the same. I haven’t settled on a major but it will either be biochem or microbiology!!! I want to be a doctor one day
I’m autistic and I have chronic health problems. I also have bipolar disorder and bpd which I am trying very hard to recover from.
My favorite things in the world are art and science of all kinds, as well as theology, nature, philosophy, all that good stuff!! I’m a HUGE fan of Will Wood and also I love the Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer as well as the classic emo bands!!
On this blog I’m gonna post whatever rambly stuff, as well as my art, writing, music, pictures of friends I meet ect!! I live in the woods of so I meet a lot of animal friends!!

heyyy, same person from the previous ask :p
i guess our institutions are very different. for me, spring semester is january to beginning of may. there’s 3 different summer sessions over may-august. each session lasts about a month (which is crazy because a normal 4 month course is squeezed into a month 😭). and fall semester is august to beginning of december.
im majoring in biochemistry! i took genetics, organic chemistry II, physics, and a ceramics class this spring semester. im so glad i chose to take that ceramics class cause its seriously so therapeutic and chill compared to the living hell my other classes are. im also taking immunology this summer. so far I’ve enrolled in biochemistry I, microbiology, and cell physiology for fall. i MIGHT take an advanced ceramics class or an activity based academic credit course.
the puzzles and paradoxes course you mentioned sounds very interesting! it looks like you’re studying philosophy??? what are your future plans with that?
ahhhh ok i see, ya it just seems like our academic schedules r diff!! omg biochemistry so close to what i guessed cuz i said biology and chem engineering :3 that’s so cool! and ceramics sounds so fun… i wanna do that as well cuz i love doing sfuff with my hands, and ur school is so cool for offering that and also in an advanced course too! my break is always my politics classes T_T cuz philosophy is too much sometimes
yes im majoring in philosophy and political science!! i wanna do something with political philosophy through research or pursue being a lawyer :3 i have to think more about what im interested in and that just requires time and more studying to figure it out
what about u with ur biochem???
