y'know, I only met my weekly movement/exercise goal 60% of weeks this year, and I probably on average only did my lil PT exercises 3-5 times a week (the goal was every day)... but both of those are way, way more than I did last year. and that feels like a real win

I do not think percy jackson & the olympians (og 5 books) would ever make a good adaption to any visual media. The concept and universe are extremely workable, but i think majority of the charm is in its being first person. Percy is actually written really well. He has so much Depth and goes on so many tangents and his thought processes and emotions are written out so nicely, and often they accompany deceptively simple and goofy sentences. But not out of showing not telling, the characters and percy respond in an appropriate way to whats being said and tgere are consequences. The first 5 books just feel so personal. While the series carries the idea presented in the first book well, it evolves into something else entirely purely based on percys perspective and thoughts.

Trying to cram all the nuance of this crucial element into dialogue and visual means will ruin the charm i think. For me as a huge percy jackson enjoyer, but also randoms watching it i feel like it could be just another superpower teen show/same level viewing impact as the movie.

Hi everyone! so i'm opening commissions for a bit, because im trying to move out of my parents place by summer. im aiming to start looking in may/june, and move by july-september. so in the meantime while i work my full time job and save up to move into my own place, i'll be taking commissions on the side. im only taking slots and i admit, the work may come at a slow pace because i do work a very taxing job full time but i need to get out on my own. however i will do my absolute best to work on these commissions on my days off, because my days off are always the days i do my art.

miss paulings look was first inspired by 80s womens fashion with the big shoulder pads, though i was taking it in a 80s mens fashion direction. the accessories choices were mostly decided by what i notice mens fashion show off the most, so a watch (which i thought would be in line with miss paulings battlefield work environment), a ring, and a belt . i dont think miss pauling is necessarily married, its an aesthetic decision

at some point, i realized im in american psycho territory. this happened after i gave him the axe.

all in all, an incredibly anachronistic king (tf2 is the 60s, the fashion is the 80s, the movie reference is the 2000s)

i actually had a different aim in mind with the facial hair which was to give him a five o clock shadow, but it looked either too natural or goofy. because having purple drawn on hair was the goal. which is also why the button up is cropped.

with this look being more naturalistic (if you could call it that) compared to some of the other designs i have done, it was pretty funny stopping before the makeup and realizing he looks incredibly like just some guy

🧡 academia >> I only studied chemsitry for 11 mins today which I'm not happy about and I only started writing my evaluation for art 2 hours ago instead of this morning BUT I'm doing it now and aim enjoying the process, plus Im almost finished too.

🧡 physical health >> I did 20 pushups and enjoyed my walk to and from the bus stops

🧡 self care >> Whenever I remember I get up, stretch, drink some water, out down my phone for a bit, play with my dogs more

☀️ 8 something, I really needed the extra sleep🌙 soon hopefully

Yesterday I studied math for 2hrs 16 and I was so tired during it (mentally tired rather than sleepy). I felt like no information was really going into my head and then I stopped doing past papers and started answering questions from my textbook but I struggled so much with simply adding and collecting like terms that I got myself really worried by the end of it. The exam itself went well tho! aim happy with the paper even tho the last few questions were weird. I had 30 mins to spare and filled some pages with as mnay numbers and working out as I could in the hope for more method marks.

The Bakers basket holds many items, including a small piping bag! it can be poured on pallets and windows, hunters slowing down by 15% for 5 seconds due to the stickiness of the frosting. can be used once ever 60 seconds

Tasty Treat!

Inside the basket, Baker holds 3 macarons, each healing one health of the teammate it's consumed by. unlike others, The Baker has the option to try and toss the Treat towards a nearby teammate. However, if not aimed properly; it can be dropped on the ground and become inedible. cooldown of 20 seconds.

Sticky Hands (passive)

The Baker tends to practice her creations when stressed, causing her hands to become drenched in things like eggs, flour, and even the batter for her macarons themselves. she vaults windows and pallets 2% slower than regular due to this.
