So i don't really know much about your fandoms or interests so... idk, would you mind giving me the rundown maybe? Like a little description about the games you like, or some info about your different comics? I want to chat more with you but I'm not sure where to start since I'm not familiar with your fandoms

Haha, that makes sense, my Fandoms can be considered a little niche.

First off, I'm super glad to finally meet you, lol. I've sorta been watching you and Pringles from afar, and you two seem like good friends.

But yeah, I'll happily give you a rundown, thanks for asking ^^

Pathologic/Мор: Утопия is a Russian videogame developed by Icepick Lodge. You play as one of three healers in a bo-hum steppe town, and your goal is to try and save the population from the outbreaking plague. The game has a lot of heavy theatrical influences and is well known for being extremely difficult and cruel. Which means the writing is perfectly catered to my tragedy-loving gay-theater-kid ass.

Karamora/Карамора is a show I got into a while ago. Basically, it's a fictional retelling of the Russian revolution (one of my special interests, lmao), except all the nobles are vampires. It's dumb but it's unironically so well made. Plus it has that twinky ginger guy, Evgeny Schwartz, in it. This show is also what got me on the Russian media pipeline to begin with XD

Lost Splendor was a memoir written by Felix Yusupov (aka the guy who killed rasputin, aka an important figure in the Russian revolution), and it's just incredibly funny for no reason. Man killed Rasputin, but all he could think to write about was how gay and ADHD he was.

Comics. I'm just very normal about them. I have a collection of around 80 different comics, single issues and graphic novels included. My favorites are queer and indie graphic novels, but im also a huge sucker for some of the classics like V for Vendetta. I have yet to purchase The Sandman comics, but they're on my list.

As for webcomics, I'm addicted to those too. I'm probably the biggest fan 5-ever of The Peculiar Compendium of Victor Van Wolfe on webtoons, and I've written a few fanfics and made fanart aplenty, as well as made custom stuffies of the characters. But I have a wide list of recommendations across a lot if genres XD

As for comics that IVE written, I currently have two open to the public on webtoons and tapas.

The first is Spaceships and Vodka, which is my primary comic. It's an anachronistic sci-fi surrounding a band of space pirates. It's a monster of the week style story with a lot of extra narrative told through backstories. It's currently still in the exposition stage and on hiatus.

The other is Gentle Hands, which is technically an AU of S&V. It's a gay romance following a disabled WWI soldier in a shellshock home and one of the nurses he has a crush on. This one is, alas, also still in the exposition stage, but is currently updating one page every other week.

As for like individual OCs, I mostly obsess over my comic characters. I don't typically make Fandom OCs.

My absolute pride and joy is Craig. He's also the fan favorite thus far.

I don't even know where to begin with him.

I have a bio for him and some other OCs I think, but I have yet to actually fill out any more >>_>> executive dysfunction my beloathed.

this one is tough because i've only ever started writing for like two fandoms- and by the time i write for a ship ive already consumed as much media and fanfiction and humanly possible, therefore absorbing their personalities and attitudes into my brain, making them easy to write :D but i guess out of the two fandoms ive written for, probably rapunzel from tangled the series. dont come at me.

💘 Is it easier to write angst or fluff?

well, i personally both are easy to write for me when i really get into it- like when my brain is LOCKED IN. but okay hear me out. i fucking love writing fluff and reading it, but by god angst is somehow easier for me to flow with then writing yk???

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

(im sorry in advance) YES I KNOW MANY!!! of course these shall be barrissoka because yes but i know a lot of other amazing writers too for other fandoms!! i recommend: @kaaragen is an AMAZING author and their work And if we fell together has my heart and soul and god fucking damn it take my money ANYWAYS- The author mylordshesacactus has amazing works!! the author Gabby(kirahsoka) has amazing works too!! the ao3 series Clouded Light and the works Lost Shepherd and Coming home to you (A personal fav!!!!). Also my amazing friend @jedimasterbailey and their fic The Padawans!!! Another one of my favorite authors is @lesbiansandpuns whose work i absolutely love so much i stg especially The moments when we smile and those between has me on my knees not even joking (their other works are literally godsent as well). also!! @425599167 is an amazing author and their take on Barriss Offee as a whole is absolutely wonderful, their work The Erosion of the Spirit had me dissociating for a good week on that fic, literally amazing. I also really adore Let's call it love by my friend @stellanslashgeode!!

i've been in a LOT of fandoms but i didn't start writing for any until recent (last couple years) which are Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (the tangled series) (judge me and i will eat you) and Star Wars! for TTS prob my fic Painting can wait (guys this is my old writing please bare with me) and for Star wars probably Love you anyway. (even if you hate tea) because i kiiiiinda wrote that one as self indulgence. again if i hear anything i will eat you.

ooh good question! heads up i dont read dnp fic much so these are gonna be for other fandoms :3

fake dating is my all time favorite trope. im a sucker for miscommunication and pining and this tends to bring both out in full force.

my fav fake dating fic is currently Meet Me in the Middle (Underneath the Mistletoe) by Princessfbi, which is a 911 buddie fic. i also really enjoyed Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms by mr_todoroki. i havent read it in a while since i havent read bnha fics much lately but its kiribaku and its definitely one of the first fics im gonna reread when i inevitably get sucked back into the fandom lol

second is friends to lovers. again, because pining. also its probs related to my being aroace spec and not really getting how someone could catch feelings for someone before knowing them well but like. thats not important lol

my fav friends to lovers fics are tell me about despair by hattalove which is another buddie fic (you can tell what ive been focusing on lately lmao) and Don't Freak Out by Sarah_Sandwich. its a harley keener/peter parker fic that i absolutely adore

my last pick is gonna have to be emotional hurt/comfort. anything that makes me cry because it made my soul hurt

my fav fics for this are look at the stars (look how they shine for you) by todobakutodo hours (snowandfire) which is in my bookmarks as "absolutely my favorite todobaku" and Freezing from the Inside Out by 7ate9 which is yet another buddie fic lol

A Smalletho (Joel/Etho) Limited Life AU, with a bit of angst and a lot of fluff, featuring Love, the chicken.

This fic was a long time coming, and honestly? It was just so fun to work on, and I enjoyed every reread I did for editing. This is one of those fics where I just love the concept I came up with, and I think I executed it well!

An Oli TheOrionSound/Joe Hills fic, set in my Spectators AU!

This AU is one of my favorites, and this ship was very fun to write! Oli and Joe are such characters and i love them dearly. I also love that os many people thought that the au was cute! I was not expecting as much positive feedback as I got and i'm very grateful for it ^-^

Everyone Knows He Has A Bad Memory

A poem inspired by with the time they had by my lovely friend @blocksruinedme (which you should totally read, i love it so much)

I wrote this before Vee had even posted the inspiring fic, and to this day it's one of my favorite poems that i've ever written. I liek the pacing, and the details, and the recurring line- i'm such a sucker for a recurring line, y'all have no idea. Overall I had fun with it, it made Vee smile, and I got to share my love of "with the time they had" with the world

I had so much fun working with Fénix on this, it's one of the only collaborative projects I've done in fandom, and honestly it was just a blast. I really enjoyed matching up those little details with him, and he just made the whole process so fun, i'm truly so grateful that we decided to do this together ^-^

I think I used imagery to convey a shifting in perspective, in their lives and relationship well, and im proud of how few words I needed to convey what I did. a whopping 67 words, and yet it still managed to hit people hard.

yes and no. i love that people take the time to show their appreciation for a fic and i always want to reply and show how much it means to me... but i have this bad habit of not replying to comments on say, older works or older chapters of a fic. idk why... im just not good at it lol BUT I LOVE AND APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE COMMENT, EVEN THE LITTLE ONES 💖💖

oh, Exit Wounds, for sure haha

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

im a sucker for happy endings so i'd say, everything else lol but particularly Almost Idyllic (The Song of Achilles) due to the build up and Salvation also, because of the events leading up to the ending.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not since my ff.net days haha.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

very occasionally. and nothing too wild (except for that dreamling butt plug one. that was. hmm.) but i typically enjoy writing first times.

nope. though i have seen ideas/prompts used without credit. it doesn't bother me much.

once, The Red Witch (which btw has been discontinued, pls don't read it lol). it started off just me, then my editor jumped on maybe 5 chapters in once i realized they were much more versed in magick and fantasy than me.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

ahhh haha... fuck. idk i want to say none. but my brain keeps whispering about the dreamling road trip au. i thought i had a plot but as i continue working on bitb and other little drabbles... ive realized i might've bitten off more than i can chew. and my only option is to completely sideline it until im done with bitb, or change the story (because right now the research i have to do for it is too much and y'all know how i am...) it sucks cos i do want to write it. but it's difficult when all my patience for research is already going into one fic (bitb).

16. What are your writing strengths?

dialogue and monologuing, probably.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

self 👏 motivation 👏 finding 👏 the 👏 urge 👏 to 👏 write (technically, it's tense. i flip between past and present tense constantly and at this point i just consider it one of my endearing qualities pfft)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i try to avoid it but when it happens i just use Google Translate and then toss a disclaimer that ive done my best (to which usually a commenter will helpfully correct me and then all is well)

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Inuyashaaaaa (Miroku/Sango omg). exchanging physical notebooks with my friends with fanfics we'd written in school lol

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

truly a tie between Savory & Sweet and Let Me Down Easy (at the moment). the restaurant au was so easy and fun to write (probably because i used to be in the industry) and i reread it a lot. the pacing is fast and i love how immediate Hob and Dream fall into each other haha. Let Me Down Easy was very similar. my major was Media Production in undergrad and although it's been a while since i've held a camera, it was fun putting myself back in that environment. also the angst and tension were just a blast to write and figure out.

BUT I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO TALK ABOUT MY BELOVED ONCE AGAIN :DDDD My FAVOURITE lu boy is 101% Time, the old man, our fairy boy <3 The EMOTIONS i have for this man are just AHHHH. Like, first he is so pretty for no reason?? and the way Jojo designed him to incorporate parts from each of his appearances in the games is just *CHEF'S KISS* IM A SUCKER FOR FATHER FIGURE CHARACTERS (maybe that's due to my lack of father figures in my life ._.') and i really like how parts of the fandom represent that role he plays in fanfics and fanart! ANDDDDD i also very much enjoy the complexities that come with the whole time travel thing and how Time deals with the confusion and struggles that come with that sort of stuff. I ALSO JUST LOVE THE FOUND FAMILY TROPE?!! The way this man interacts with Twi and Wind warms my soul so much and I cant wait to see more interacts between him and the other boys not just for the whole father figure trope but also cause HE'S ALOUD TO BE A LITTLE SHIT!! Too late in the game? : I written just 2 fics for rwrb Fandom. This is my second fic . Although This fic didn't get much attention for an active Fandom, I actually loved writing this cause I relate to Prince Henry so much. And I wanted to give him a warm hug🥰

J:  What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it?

Im a Sucker for angst/comfort or hurt/comfort. And I've written a few one shots. I can't help but ending up writing in this trope. I love fantasy too and I consider my ongoing wip under the trope.

I wanted to write some sweet smut too.

L: Which of your fanfics was the most emotionally challenging to write?

Is weird to forget how you felt about writing a fic? I don't even remember how I felt. I do cry reading some parts from my fics from time to time but that's it. Sorry that I can't give a good answer to you 🫣

my second favorite trope is existential angst ! like, a character going through an intense paradigm shift, realizing what they've been doing is absolutely worth Nothing. and now they have to refind their purpose while also feeling like their world just ended.

LAST BUT ALSO TECHNICALLY AN ULTIMATE FAVR— anything where the main and side characters go to a place unfamiliar. the conflict has to be man v self in one way, and if two characters get together it has to be rocky. this especially applies to vacation fics or camp counselor au's, and UGH im such a SUCKER for it. it's always the warmest fics that change your LIFE . and when they end with all of them leaving the place bittersweet BUT as changed people? oh that is fucked up /pos

For drag race i do it by ship since there is such a small collection compared to other fandoms but if it’s larger like game of thrones, I typically do it by au or like non canon compliance because that’s where people can get really creative and some of the best fics are there

For fanfics, If you fall, I fall by zwritestuff is so so soooo good! it’s coxdoll fake dating teachers au and it is just lovely!!

also also recommend Baby we made it which was orphaned :/ but it’s sooo perfect! it’s a jankie comfort fic and I end up reading it so so so much cause it just makes me feel so much better so def check it out!

Hmmmm… I like you. I think you could work well with a lot of people and make them quite happy. However, something in my gut likes best the idea of you with Anton.

Your MBTI, Enneagram, and self-description give me the impression of a really sweet person inclined to fairness, introversion, mediation, and good vibes in general. Maybe that’s why you fit so well with Anton; he also has this chill, no-drama vibe of just trying to live a good life being himself, being with you, and being happy. Lowkey, I’m assuming you went with the pacifist route in Undertale first and maybe only. That’s fitting given I think Anton would take the same route (if he were a video game person which I don’t think he is. If anything, he’s a Tetris man.)

I think you have a really peaceful, stable life together- at least, once he gets back from his secluded, secret lab, of course. This is such a “gimme” song and yet I don’t care! One, this is a super singable, sweet song that I can imagine translates well to a guitar. (I say imagine because I know nothing about guitar, please forgive me.) Two, scientist. Technician. I need not say more. Three, it’s a lovely, mournful song that, I think, is kind of about a break up but could also reasonably be about long distance and forced separation. It’s perfect.

Your runner-ups are really fun because you could make fun couples or a throuple! I like Damien for you because he’s a Type Six in my opinion, and they’re supposed to make really lovely matches with Type Nines. (This is me and my best friend so confirmed.) I also like Huxley for you because he has a lot of similar traits to you but just more extroverted. Also, plants. Together, you could make a beautiful triangle.

at the current moment, this is still one of my favorites, i think! it's from chapter 11 of my "prospective season 5" fic called Forget Me Not

there's a LOT i would do differently with this fic now, and every day im tempted to overhaul it despite doing that once already, but i still really like a lot of the moments i had between Will and Mike. i especially liked working on this part because i felt like it really encapsulated what, at the time, i viewed as the main issue between Will and Mike and any tension they might still have between one another. i wanted Mike to take accountability for his actions and understand why he behaved that way, and fully apologize, while still admitting that, yes, they might be angry at each other every now and then, but a little talking goes a long way to fixing the problem.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

hrrrmmm do i? i have a couple very vague ideas of things i'd like to do, such as additional "spin off" one-shot fics for my HSM au, like an El/Lucas/Max fic, but maaaybe also El/Dustin, some shenanigans with Robin and Steve, etc.

i've also been itching to write another Revali/Link fic over the last few days lol so we'll see if i get a more concrete idea for that!

P: Are you what George R. R. Martin would call an “architect” or a “gardener”? (How much do you plan in advance, versus letting the story unfold as you go?)

i think i might be a bit of both!! it really depends on the fic. i probably lean more toward the "architect" descriptor because i usually do at least some sort of vague outline for everything i write.

however, for short, single chapter fics, i only go in with a very loose outline/idea, and let it sort of grow wherever it wants once i get started! and sometimes it ends up going way off of my outline.

for multi-chapter fics, especially those that i want to be a fully-fledged story, i do lots of outlining. i usually start with really loose bullet points for main beats of the whole story, and then go in and heavily outline each chapter, and THEN i start writing a rough draft for the first chapter haha. i definitely like outlining because i can just be really messy and loose with whatever idea i have in my head just to get the feel of it down before i lose it, and then i can flesh it out later :3

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

im a HUGE fucking sucker for best friends to lovers. i also really like soulmates stuff, but also predominantly if it's in a similar vein to best friends to lovers LOL. i just love love love two characters being best friends since they were little and realizing they can't live without each other. makoharu really got me hooked on that shit back in 2013 and now i can't live without it!!!

I was previously in One Direction fandom, but for the last year and a half i've been all about my Ted Lasso otp Jamie/Roy. They're my favorites. It's been a while since I've been down so bad for a pairing.

A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation are my faves but Elf is way way up there on the list. I really love it! Cheesy romcoms, especially Christmas ones are *definitely* where it's at. They're so fun and it's good to curl up with something that's just fun and a bit predictable where you know they're just gonna end up together and be happily ever after!
