I talk a lot in private about how good Alex’s storytelling is and even though yeah it hurts, it’s still satisfying in the end. He’s like,, he’s always sure to make sure everything feels at least a bit sweet in the end even if it’s bittersweet.

hello hello! i’m ash and *vine voice* it’s been...a loooong time since i’ve rped in a group so i’m a bit rusty. but this is eli, my lil former surgeon resident, so here’s some more info about him:

eli was born to a venezuelan immigrant mother and an american father in austin, texas.

growing up, eli didn’t have a lot. his parents worked 2-3 jobs each but a lot of their money went to rent, food, bills, etc. there were a lot of times where eli would have lunch/dinner but his parents wouldn’t. however his parents always wanted the best for him no matter what.

eli’s parents had taught him at a young age that you should be a) kind and b) helpful. his mom used to put on mister rogers’ neighborhood when he was really little and that show along with his parents inspired him to want to help people in some way. 

however....not many people believed in him. he didn’t have enough money, his grades weren’t good enough, no good medical school would accept him, etc etc. he developed a kind of chip on his shoulder and was determined to prove all those who doubted him wrong.

luckily, he did. he got in a good school college, graduated, got into a good medical school, and was accepted into a program in california. he’s like, super in debt lol but he’s proud of himself for working his way up.

he did intern worked and worked as a general surgery resident at the local hospital until...now really 

generally a nice guy??? he’s usually pretty easy to get along with as long as you aren’t like. a jerk lol

however he can kind of get...focused/intense when he’s working. he’s a major perfectionist so he doesn’t really like when things don’t go the way they’re supposed to, although he’s gotten better at that and thinks more on the fly now. still kinda got that chip on his shoulder tho. 

does not care about himself when it comes to safety. he’ll basically throw himself at danger or at least try to help if it means saving someone else. that’s why he’s more of a “fight” than “flight” person although he’s not a huge fighter lmao

Im in my french lit class. Out teacher js speaking french to me and it sounds great bbut i cant understand shiiiiiit lol. I have latin after this. I dont understand shit there either ������ . Great day. However ìn good news, i am feeling better. I had the flu twice and i just recently recovered. I missed the forst three days Of lessons and i feel like im super behind on EVERYTHING but i hope to work extra hard this weekend to make up for it. This semester isnt tyrningbout as funnas id hoped. Meh. Also i watched the mummy last night and read some rick/evey fic. There one of the greatest couples out there imo. Alao watched Tangled - the fandom has some Exellent fic.

lmaooooo so like I took french at gcse level and somehow managed to get an a* - I say somehow because it’s so very rusty rn and I definitely couldn’t hold a conversation and now after seven years it’s hard to understand it when it’s spoken if that makes sense? like they speak so damn fast lol.

and I’m sorry you were ill but glad that you’re now better <3 I got a flu shot at work in november last year so miraculously I’ve been spared flu this winter so far *touch wood*
