“I wish for you to marry my daughter.”

This is not how jacaerys thought this would go. When he arrived in the vale he thought he thought he would have to make simple small talk, present some of the benefits, hells even throw some complements her way in order to convince her. This however had not been in his cards.

“I'm sorry my lady i do not understand.”

“My daughter, y/n remains unmarried, around your age, a sweet girl, agree to wed her and me and my men will bend the knee.”

He blinks. He has no clue what to say to her. Jeyne stands after a moment, “I shall go fetch her.” He watches as one of the guards tries to stop her and tells her he will go retrieve the girl but Jeyne seems determined to go herself and he moves letting her leave. Jacaerys stands awkwardly in the middle of the room unsure of what to do.

He is not too sure he can just flat out agree to a proposal without his mother position, it is not like he is a second son, he is the heir to the queen. The next king, his wife to be the next queen. Yet when he sees you walking into the room, wearing a long dress in your house colors with your mother trialing behind with a pleased look on her face he finds himself wanting to agree to the marriage right away.

You are stunning. Easily the most beautiful women he’s ever seen, sure he hasn’t seen that many women but it doesn’t matter. He watches as you bow and mindlessly nods in acknowledgment, unable to take his eyes off you.

Jeyne looks between the two of you with a satisfied look. “Why don’t you show the prince around?” She gives you a pointed look to which you nod, “Of course i would be happy to.”

He walks over and offers you his arm with a smile on his face and you graceful take it before you begin to walk off with him. Jeyne stays behind and smiles to herself.

“My mother is very forward i apologize to you.” He simply shakes his head, he finds himself look at you instead of the halls he’s supposed to be looking at. “It is not an issue my lady, I rather appreciate it.” You look at him curiously but turn away once you notice he is already looking at you. “Whatever do you mean?”

“Many people speak in riddles, not saying what they mean or truly want, your mother is a rare gem.” You smile at the praise of your mother, “She truly is.”

You lead him outside and begin to tell him about the different plants and different sculptures around the courtyards. He is so charmed by you. The way you light up when you spot something and you begin to tell him of a memory you have, like how your mother scolded you for jumping around in the fountain, or when you almost fell out of one of the window's when you fell asleep.

“You truly love this place.” He can tell. The way you smile at the guards as they walk by or the way you know every detail about everything in the walls. But he sees the way you falter slightly at his words, “Am i wrong?”

You shake your head vigorously, “no no i do, its just i have never been away from here. My mother is a very protective woman, she waves away any suitors, she never even lets me leave the eyrie it is ridiculous!” You realize you're letting your emotions show too much and bow your head, “i am sorry that was out of line.”

He grabs your hands and you look at him with wide eyes. “I understand my lady, my mother is similar, i have truly never traveled to far, i wish to explore, once my mother has her rightful throne i believe i will take the time to see westeros a little bit,” He pauses before he speaks again, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly, “I could take you with me? if that is what you wish my lady.”

He watches as your eyes begin to glow and you beam at him, “truly? oh nothing would make me happier.” He nods and grips your hands tighter, “I shall take you everywhere.”

He does not expect you to throw your hands around his neck and pull him into a hug. He wraps his hands around your lower back, pushing his head into your neck and breathing in your scent. “I will accept your mothers propsal at once. You will fly with me to winterfell.” You pull back and give him an eager look. “Winterfell? Truly?” He nods, “I am to go meet lord cregan stark.”

You can barely contain your excitement at the thought of seeing something that was not the eyrie, especially a place as grand as winterfell.

Jeyne watched you two smile at one another from a window above with a small smile on her face. She does not hear the guard approaching her from behind, “You seem pleased my lady.” She says nothing to him for a moment, simply continuing to stare at the two of you. “Tell my men to ready themselves for war. It seems he will accept my proposal.”

•he’ll just rest there for a while, just dangling, all sweaty

•sometimes he has enough energy to chill with paul and marko but quickly loses it after a while. paul is Way too much for him in this heat. Hes Markos Issue Now :)

Risha (S) - one of the most detailed, nuanced companions in the game, my wife, top tier female love interest, she doesnt just have backstory she has Backstory ™️

Andronikos Revel (SI) - many points for the coolest name in star wars. ok like i think his character concept is kinda boring comparatively but they pull it off so well as a romance arc. he feels very real and human and natural and i like that he keeps the inquisitor grounded by being the everyman in a story about sith sorcery and going insane because of ghosts in your brain

Akaavi Spar (S) - she is SO hot. the superior Mandalorian like Torian Cadera who?

Treek - TREEK!!!!!!!

Kira Carsen (JK) - my first ever swtor love. she has a special place in my heart

Jaesa Willsaam (SW) - let me have lesbian sex with her

Qyzen Fess (JC) - i looove him, easily one of the most interesting characters and the deep dive into trandoshan lore is so fascinating and interesting

Vette (SW) - she’s my darling 🩷 i would die for her. i bonded with her so much cause i play female characters as a rule and her whole character and relationship with the female warrior is about her craving sisters and sisterly relationships and then finding that in the warrior. and at the same time that i was playing that class i was repairing and working on my real life relationship with my little sister who i’m now very close to. so Vette is my sister. plus if you play as female you still get to hit on Tivva (just not sleep with her) and the dialogue is extremely amusing to me

Elara Dorne (RT) - in game doing that sweet pseudo-enemies to lovers with Jorgan so my character meeting Elara was like FINALLY someone who i don’t hate. out of game i was like FINALLY my autistic companion. it’s not a swtor playthrough without at least one autistic companion

Holiday (JC) - she COUNTS ok!!!!

Aric Jorgan (RT) - cat boy husband

Khem Val (SI) - objectively one of the best companions, if not the best. he’s just so low because i have more emotional attachment to the ones above

MIDDLE FIFTEEN

Torian Cadera (BH) - super well written romance especially when you get to the GenoHaradan arc, an underrated love interest (at least in the circles i run in online). however. sir we need to have words about that facial hair. also i guess it’s not an old republic game without at least one character that makes me say “they are NOT a nineteen year old”

Kaliyo (IA) - i get that she could rub people the wrong way but she’s my bestie. plus she coined the nickname bug boy for Vector

Tharan Cedrax (JC) - the superior version of Doc

SC0RPI0 (IA) - they gave that droid madonna cone titties. also i was so excited by her since i found the previous agent companion so bleh

Malavai Quinn (SW) - time to drop a controversial opinion…i think he’s overrated. like don’t get me wrong he’s a fantastic love interest, he’s just hyped up a LOT compared to other love interests and i think he maybe only deserves like 85% of the hype he gets (which is still a lot!). i just think he has a lot of the traits tumblrinas go nuts for and then they act like that makes him superior to other love interests when that’s not necessarily the case. and i say this as someone who romanced and placed him higher on this list than several other love interests so im being objective here. on a more positive note his deadpan humor is greatly enjoyable, and i find it very entertaining that when his health bar drops but is still like halfway full he starts saying shit like “my death is imminent” overdramatic king

Xalek (SI) - the superior inquisitor apprentice

Zenith (JC) - let me romance him you cowards but im far less passionate about this one than i am about Scourge (yeah yeah the expansions i want him to be my MAIN story love interest in the origin)

Broonmark (SW) - i love my giant murderous fluffy alien monster baby

M1-4X (RT) - i do enjoy being told how amazing i am on a regular basis. the most egotistical character let alone the most egotistical droid but unlike other swtor companions he pulls off having one single character trait cause he’s funny about it

Doctor Lokin (IA) - the mad scientist thing is very cool but i feel like for me personally it was not as cool as it sounds in theory

T7-O1 (JK) - teethree 2.0 and since they made teeseven like several hundred years old anyway i genuinely do not understand why they didn’t just make him T3-M4

Lieutenant Felix Iresso (JC) - literally only exists for me as eye candy (and what a good job of it he does)

2V-R8 - they gave that poor droid anxiety

C2-N2 - i love my aromatherapy droid

Yuun (RT) - he’s just so nice! so pure, so wholesome. marge simpson voice i just think he’s neat

BOTTOM FIFTEEN

Talos Drellik (SI) - am a huge nerd over history and archaeology…literally me in star wars…so why don’t i like him more??? absolutely no idea it’s just a vibe. also not to be mean but according to the swtor encyclopedia he’s supposed to be younger than Quinn…bb girl you did not age well

Corso Riggs (S) - idk i mean he’s cute and all, and we’ve established that i love my autistic companions (plus he’s very luke-skywalker-my-favorite-character coded) but like he came across too young for me to want to romance him with the smuggler character especially with how superior the girl love interests are. Much potential as a bestie though

Guss Tuno (S) - i literally have no memory. could not tell you a thing about him. oh wait except this insanely hilarious line I came across the other day while casually reading wookiepedia (as one does) that goes pretty hard and honestly yoinked him up from the bottom of the list: “You've never known real rage until you've been lectured on controlling your emotions by a four-year-old in a robe.”

Sergeant Rusk (JK) - he sure is there i guess

Nadia Grell (JC) - i cannot wrap my head around anyone wanting to romance her. it just feels icky to me. like i can handle a lot of the power imbalances in the other romances but this one is just too much for me, especially if you’re a light side jedi

Okay now that i have actually slept im gonna just throw alllllll the thoughts i have about this guy at you

He’s very good with tools! He may be an engineer, but he’s learned to be a mechanic so he can troubleshoot things on his train himself. Now, if there’s something that needs fixing, he almost certainly can fix it. I think this, by association, also makes him a master at solving puzzles and stuff. He flipping loves testing himself with puzzles and brain teasers and stuff. What ANerd /affectionate

He’s quiet and shy at first, kind of a nervous kid, but he’s really sweet and well liked by everyone who meets him. Although he does have a sarcastic/witty side to him that he will use if necessary or funny enough. He also will open up as he gets more comfortable with people, unless that person is Zelda, in which case he’s head over heels in love and constantly flustered when she’s around.

okay it’s 6am and im delirious but i just had. the coolest fucking dream??

okay okay so it was clearly supposed to be a clip from a trailer for season 5. it started by showing a drop of blood falling onto a hand that rested on a lap. the wrist was numberless. you could see someone else sitting next to this person on their right. both people sat on an unidentifiable bed.

then it panned up to show Will, whose nose was dripping blood and his face was distant, scared. he was shaking, and he had tears in his eyes. “there’s nothing left,” he whispered. “how can we stop it?” his voice was thoroughly broken, as though his power was only being able to watch, burdened with seeing hell unfold with no way to assist.

the “camera” panned back down to his blood-soaked left hand, and his right hand shook uselessly next to it. the hand of the unknown person to Will’s right slowly reached for Will’s shaking one, gently covering it.

the “camera” cut back to Will’s face, and his eyes had widened upon the contact. he looked over to his right.

it cut to the other person. it’s Mike. his eyes were resolute and his smile soft. “we’ll figure it out,” he whispered back. “we always do.” we see his hand tighten slightly on Will’s.

“how can you be so sure?” Will said, failing to stop his tears as they slipped down his face.

“because we’re here,” Mike said. “we’re together this time.”

Will nodded at him slowly. it cut to their hands again. Will flipped his hand over so their palms pressed together, slowly interlocking their fingers. Mike squeezed his hand.

it cut to their faces again, and they simply looked at each other with the soft expressions only reserved for one another. then it cuts to sort of a birds eye view above their heads, framed so Will could actually be seen on the left and Mike on the right. we could still see their interlocked hands.

Mike leaned over so his head rested on Will’s left shoulder, and Will all but sunk into the embrace.

BABE I've been so busy recently sorry for not being as active 😭 but I'm gone for like 4 days and I come back to you WATCHING DEMON SLAYER!? I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS ITS LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAVES ❤ so I literally watched all 3 seasons of demon slayer in like two days lol and I kinda regret watching it while on my period bc I fr cried like every episode LOL I was just a mess of emotions for those two days. First Inosuke is 100% my favorite character I would die for him in a heartbeat, and tanjiro is like my son I genuinely just adore him 🥺 I was hesitant to start demon slayer bc I thought that tanjiro seemed kinda boring for a main character (and I was like why the fuck does that girl have that thing in her mouth 24/7) but I was wroooong hes such an angel and I would literally stop watching the show if anything bad happened to him. I also want to fuck literally all of the hashira and demons big shocker I know lol. I'm super conflicted about muzan tho and would love to hear your thoughts on him. Like I think hes super hot, does he resemble Michael Jackson? Yes, but hes still sexy in my eyes lol but at the same time I just have a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to him. I usually LOVE villains no matter what no questions asked but after watching rui's backstory and seeing how muzan basically manipulated this poor boy to become a demon bc he was in that much pain and wanted to be free from it made me really sad ngl 😥 idk I'd probably still fuck him lol and I think hes a really cool and cruel villain but hes definitely not my fav. Also if you like the demons in this season wait until you get to mugen train and entertainment arc 👀 my fav demon so far is in entertainment arc so I'm so excited for you to get to that season ❤ as far as the hashiras goes I feel like this is such a controversial take bc hes everyone's favorite but I'm not that into uzui lol. Like hes undeniably the hottest character for sure but hes just not for me especially since I'm a super jealous person lol (would still fuck him under certain circumstances tho lmaoo). My favorites in no particular order are giyu, obanai, and sanemi for sure. the overall feel/vibe of the show seems very different to me than 911 (idk why tho) This might change because we know like barely anything about any of the characters so everything just feels new and different! also it was the pilot and a lot of the time there are chages from the first ep to the rest of the show

AND having a different vibe from 911 is totally fine... like spinoffs aren’t supposed to be the same! They are meant to be a way to tell a similar story in a complely different way! and thats real cool :)

i was tagged by @tiffanylamps to pick 9 of my favourite characters. thank you for the tag!!! i was just thinking that i haven’t bothered you in a bit!

im really bad at favorites and this is in no particular order except the first three are all tied for first. anyways you could say ‘what’s your favorite food?’ and i would list every food that i liked with different explanations as to why i love them. BUT i will do my best!! (100% promise, I will miss someone)

1. han joo won (beyond evil) — he is my precious, pathetic little prince and i love him. i love good character arcs and his is the literal best. he goes from pretentious and pathetic -> gay panic and pathetic -> hot girl summer and pathetic -> guilty and pathetic -> and finally saved and a little less pathetic. it’s perfection. he feels so much but was forced to hide it and ignore it because of the Devil Dad™️ he was saddled with and i love him and his ridiculously repressed self. like i want to bully him and hold him at the same time, which is what i imagine dong sik fet like every day for months which i also love.

2. jiang cheng (the untamed) - okay so….he is also super pathetic 😂😂 and his character arc is sadder and i think he got the crap end of the stick but he’s so good. so so so good. he loves his family so much he would do anything for them. he raises a baby and a sect by himself after losing his entire world and i just love him. he’s the equivalent of the ‘he’s got the spirit’ and ‘sad pathetic boi’ smashed into one. i don’t apologize for any of his bad behaviors (especially the book version) i do however love to talk about why he is the way he is and how he could change for the better and how his character is so flawed and amazing. look at that crying pathetic face:

3. guillermo de la cruz (what we do in the shadows - tv series) - so he’s also a little pathetic especially during the first season and sprinkled throughout but makes up for it and i just can’t. he’s a plus sized, gay, mexican man who wants to become a vampire and turns out to be the coolest fucking person ever. he’s kind but manipulative, soft spoken but aggressive at times, badass but also sad and pathetic, thoughtful but a little unhinged, protective but also a brat…. it just goes on and on. i’ve never seen a character like him and i’m so in love with him, he’s the best and is literally a murderer and embezzler and all these things but he can do no wrong, leave him be.

4. ji cheong shin (the uncanny counter) - my brain the entire time he was being the best villain boi was like a hamster on a wheel. he would give that evil little smile and i would just ‘oooohhh ahhhhhh’ at him. you felt bad for him and he had a heart…he was just an evil shit and i love that for him. i want to watch the entire show all over again (because it was great) but also just so i can see him progressively become more and more unhinged. (i also see that the actor plays a morally ambiguous character in inspector koo and i am HERE for it)

5. jim jimenez (our flag means death) - i’m so in love with this character and i really hope we get to see more of them in season 2. (i think jim jimenez’s pronouns are they/them. they use she and he sometimes, talk about jim pretending to be someone’s husband, etc but they do end up saying at one point ‘i’m just jim, okay?’ and at the end izzy uses ‘they’ pronouns too and all the interviews I’ve seen use they pronouns for jim) jim is badass and could kill probably anyone, and has a great revenge story. jim can be cagey and closed off most of the time but seems to have big feelings when they open up about them. i love that they were also given a love interest and it’s one of the best ones on the show. also it’s worth mentioning that my favorite episode is the one when oluwande meet jim’s grandma — perfection.

6. xie yu chen (ultimate note) - this character is the exact opposite of pathetic and it’s one of the greatest parts of the character. he can fight, is super duper flexible, he’s amazingly intelligent, he does chinese opera, he’s resourceful, he’s not unkind even though he’s not overtly kind, and once he cares about someone yeeesh you better watch out. he’s character is really queer coded AND in a positive way. a lot of times characters like these are used for comic relief or tragedy but he is the definition of a badass in this. i could list off of the amazing qualities of hau’er but the best one is being able to put up with and care for xiazi.

7. clare devlin (derry girls) - my wee little lesbian!!! clare devlin is me if I would have felt safe enough to come out in high school. she’s like the annoying, goody goody cousin of the group yet she constantly follows along and breaks all the rules with the rest of the derry girls. she’s constantly scared and doesn’t want to disappoint her parents (and her slightly wonky moral compass) but something inside of her says ‘fuck shit up’ and i love that for her and I’m always here for it. She is this weird little combo of shy, silly, gay, grumpy, and irish. it’s fantastic. also she’s so gorgeous it’s ridiculous.

8. the guide (what we do in the shadows tv series) -when she first started appearing on the series i was praying they would keep her for more seasons. Even with smaller parts and lines she was hilarious and with the added addition of being one of the only people who openly found guillermo attractive she was immediately my favorite. she’s back for this current season and i’m so in love. her outfits are stunning, her lines are the best, her facial expressions, her unhinged attitude after some therapy… honestly i could just list every scene with her in it and gush.

9. roy kent (ted lasso) - i could technically put like seven characters from ted lasso down because that’s how much i love this show and the way the characters are written but i will just put roy. roy kent is one of the greatest characters I have ever seen written— he’s a futbol player so he’s portrayed as angry, loud, aggressive, rugged, etc. pretty much most of the least desirable traits you could think of (toxic masculinity in character form) BUT then make him a big, soft, damn teddy bear that uses those traits in a good way AND isn’t afraid to admit when he messes up or his anger gets the best of him. roy is also shown challenging a lot of gender norms for men— he has a wine night with his book club which is full of women and loves it, he does yoga because it helps his flexibility and aging body, and he is one of the primary caretaakers of his niece pheobe (you see him in crowns, pink things, at school, making dinner, playing games with her, etc) and he tends to save his anger for nosey reporters, futbol, and people who hurt the ones he loves. he calls other men out on shitty behavior aggressively ‘like yeah I saw fuck a lot but i’m not a misogynist, you prick’ —think oscar the grouch meets a burly, swearing mr. rogers
