iKon Deep Dive: Beyond A Viral Hit

Here are my credentials: I really don’t know much about iKon, which is kind of par for the course when it comes to this blog at this point. A/N: I kinda made them meet somewhere different, through vidcon but I still hope that you enjoy this story as I enjoyed writing it. If you like it then feel free to support my page by buying me a coffee!

“Hey everyone it’s y/n and welcome back to my channel! Today we are going to be vlogging at vidcon!” You started off the introduction of your video early in the morning, as you wanted to vlog your process of getting ready to go to vidcon, and then your experience there.

You had started a youtube channel a while back, after watching so many videos of your favorite YouTubers, you did various types of your own such as get ready with me’s, vlogs, let’s plays and more. Your following started to grow over time, and the more you did it the more confident you got. Arriving at the convention center, you got out of your car and took your followers, or your camera, along with you.

“Guys, this is my first time being at vidcon, and I can’t believe how many people are here.” You said looking back into your camera while a wide smile was apparent on your face, you had already ran into a few of the people you looked up to, and you couldn’t help but show the excitement when you got a chance to talk to them.

“Hey! It’s y/n.” A male voice had called from the background, and suddenly a face had appeared on the screen of your camera, and you quickly turned around to see who it was. “I’m Chanwoo!” The voice said happily while greeting you.

“Oh! I know who you are.” You said in a small voice, somewhat shocked you that he recognized who you were. “I’m y/n…. I guess you know that though.” You let out a small chuckle while rubbing the back of your neck awkwardly. “I’m a big fan of yours though!” You continued.

The two of you had talked for a little bit, having clicked with each other really well, and experienced the rest of vid con together, and during the stay in your hotel you had did a collab video of playing mario party games together, rating them from the best to the worst on your channel and then on his channel, you both had played a horror game together, and ended up vlogging through the rest of vid con together. By the time the weekend was over, it had felt like you had gained a new best friend and you felt as if you didn’t want to go home and wake up from the dream that you were having.

“So that was my weekend at vidcon. I hope you all enjoyed this video as much as I enjoyed my time there.” You said closing off the video, before uploading it on your computer, editing it, and then posting it on youtube. Laying back on your bed you sighed before grabbing your phone out of your pocket and looking up, deciding to go through all of your notifications that you had missed, and scroll through social media.

A few weeks had passed since your weekend at vidcon, and you had kept in touch with Chanwoo, messaging back and forth talking about new video ideas, meeting up, and getting to do a new video together. So when the time had arrived that he was supposed to come over and do another video, you couldn’t help but feel super excited, he had a pretty busy schedule, and this was the first time you both would have been able to hang out together since then.

A knock on the door had pulled your attention away from your thoughts, and you went to answer it smiling at the male standing on the other side. “Hi Chanwoo.” You said standing to the side as you let him inside your apartment, before walking over to your couch and sitting down. “So do you know what kind of video we are going to do today?” You asked excitedly.

“Well you sent me a few of your ideas but I know you said you wanted it a surprise, so I’m clueless.” He chuckled sitting down on the other end of the couch facing you, crossing his legs one over the other, his back leaning against the arm of the couch.

“I already have the camera recording.” You pointed at the camera that was sitting on your entertainment stand with the red light on. “So today we are going to….” You paused getting up and running out of the room quickly, leaving Chanwoo in the living room. It wasn’t long before you had come back with your arms filled with covers and pillows. “BUILD A FORT!” You said dropping the items on the couch in front of him. “Are you as excited as I am.” You said not able to get rid of the smile on your face.

“For your channel?” He asked as he picked up a pillow and observed your apartment. You could already tell his mind was working on how he would put up the fort. “So what’s the idea for mine?” He asked, finally turning to look at you.

“Scary stories, of course.” You said with a confident nod.

The night had went on with the two of you building the fort, filled with laughter and a few disagreements on how it should look and blaming the other when something went wrong, and finally the fort was built and the two of you were sitting inside with a small lamp light in the middle, and the camera in your hands. You had finished your video off with your closer and then started up Chanwoo’s video in a smooth transition before the two of you had begun telling ghost stories, both of them that you either experienced, heard from somewhere else or made up.

It wasn’t long before the night had drawn on and the both you had got tired, and yawns began filling the air, Chanwoo had found you asleep hugging on of the pillows that you left inside of the fort, and he let out a soft chuckled before turning the camera off, pulling a blanket over you and laying down beside you, and drifted off to sleep after you.

The morning after you jumped up realizing that Chanwoo was sleeping beside you and the fort was still around you, “Did we finish the video?” You asked, shaking Chanwoo lightly, looking around for the camera confused.

“Yes, y/n I turned finished it after I saw you passed out.” He said groggily, pulling you down to lay down next to him, his arm around your waist. You face instantly turned red, not realizing what was happening until you found yourself cuddled up next to the male.

“Uhm.” You started looking at the other, his eyes still closed, you knew from the beginning that you had a crush on him, but you never thought you would find yourself in this moment, even if the two of you were still just friends. “I– Chanwoo?” You continued, and his eyes opened to look at you and you watched as they grew wide, but neither of you moved.

“Yes?” He asked calmly. Looking back into your eyes.

“Nothing.” You said quickly, and grew silent as you were trying to figure out what was running through his mind, and for a moment you weren’t sure, until you felt your eyes closed and his lips on top of yours, kissing you gently.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” He asked after pulling away from the kiss looking at you with a small but hopeful smile.

“I–” You paused still in disbelief that this was happening. “Yes, I will be your girlfriend.” You answered him and a smile grew over your face.

A shy smile comes across his face while reading every single sentence twice, since it's so cute and touching. Not sure what to expect, Yunhyeong opened the letter somewhere more private, and he's glad he did so; the smile and redness on his cheeks just won't leave. Especially by the sight of your name at the bottom.

Jiwon

"Oh my-" He opens the letter at home and immediately falls onto his bed after getting to know your - his crush's - feelings. Just like a teenage boy, he needs to hold his giggles, until he's reminding himself to stay cool. He sits up, but still can't help but to imagine how you're feeling right now, due to finally having gathered the courage to confess to him.

Tbh he kinda wished for you to personally speak to him about your feelings, since he would have loved to see you being shy and so on. Nevertheless, he of course is completely over the moon after reading the letter. Hanbin always thought that you were the cutest - and too good for him. Now, finding out about the way you feel, his heart beats like mad.

Donghyuk

He reads the whole letter a few times to reassure his mind isn't playing with him and these words are real. "So (Y/N) likes me, huh?" He chuckles in excitement, and already plans what to wear on the next day to look extra good while approaching you, even though he already knows it isn't really necessary, since you obviously like him with any outfit.

Junhoe

"Have they gone crazy?", he happily asks himself, clasping a hand on his mouth, laughing. This letter is killing him with his heartbeat going faster than ever before. His hand moves to his chest, trying to calm it somehow. With the letter in his other hand, he keeps on reading your words, since he just can't get enough of them.

Chanwoo

Chanwoo's asking himself if someone is playing a prank on him. Would you really like him? He realizes there's no other way in finding out than asking you. Directly. In your face. He nearly goes insane at the thought, but also wants to finally man up and confess to you. No matter if it's really your letter or not.

A/N: As I mentioned in an earlier post, probably nobody cares but tomorrow (idk about your timezone, so just so you know, I’m talking about the 10th) is my birthday, so this is going to be the last request I post for a few days since tomorrow I’ll be out all day :) 

Hanbin was at the studio producing a song when you suddenly popped in his mind. “I should pass by to say hi.” He thought, knowing that you were at the dance studio. He obviously expected you to be dancing, but he totally didn’t expect to see you dancing to Killing Me. “Oh!” 

Bobby got home from work a bit later today, but he decided to watch some videos on Youtube before going to bed anyways. His eyes were begining to shut as he didn’t find a video he was interested in. That was until he saw a familiar body on a thumbnail. “Oh, y/n uploaded a new video.” He murmured as he clicked on it, only to be surprised by the music. Bobby licks his lips as he finishes watching it, and exits the app, ready to call you for a...late night sesion ;)

You told Jinhwan to come to the dance studio today because there was something you wanted to show him. Jinhwan, of course accepted without thinking twice about it. When he saw you dancing to Killing Me, he was shocked to say the least, and loved every second of it. But there was a particular part that he enjoyed the most, his part ™. And once you were done, he didn’t hesitate to show you just how much your dancing had affected him ;)

Junhoe sat through your whole performance licking and biting his lips, trying to remain as calm as possible, but your dancing was too much for him. Luckily for you, he let you finish in peace, but as soon as the music stopped, his lips were on your neck.

You and Yunhyeong were cooking when you decided it would be a good idea to play some music. You suddenly dropped the utensil you had in your hand when you heard Killing Me had began to play. Yunhyeong started laughing at you, but soon decided to join you too.

Donghyuk was so excited when you texted asking him if he wanted to see a choreo you had been learning lately, obviously replying yes. During your performance, he kept looking at you with a big smile on his face, sometimes even putting his hands on his cheeks cutely because of how well you were dancing. Once you were done, he stood up from his seat quickly and began clapping like crazy, making you blush.

Chanwoo was so happy while watching you dance, not to mention when he blushed during the sexier parts. You rush to his side once you’re done. “What do you think?” You ask him with a shy smile. “You did so great love.” He says before grabbing your cheeks and pressing his lips to your forehead. You hug him cutely as he murmurs “I’m very proud of you.”

but yes, hey there it’s lois! the wannaviolate blog is back,,, sorta. it’s been quite a while since i’ve wrote and i’m really hoping that running this blog again would help me with that so here we are! i’d like to apologise to those who requested and i failed to do because i did a disappearing act, i’m so sorry ;;

i can’t really promise much because i’m now in my last year of high school so it’s very likely that i’ll post whenever i can rather than a strict posting schedule but i think you guys shouldn’t be surprised about that now lmao. 

apart from the layout and colour scheme, the blog does have new changes because i’ve decided that this place will no longer be a wanna-one centric blog.

with that said, i’m very open to write about wanna one, txt, ikon, victon and stray kids yay!
