I'm being a rebel and requesting Ikesen Masamune and barefoot 💜
send me one and a character u__u
hurricane (prompt: barefoot)
masamune; 1,813; fluff and... that's it; @violettduchess is quite possibly one of the only ppl who can get me to write for a fandom that i had no plans in joining BUT HERE I AM FOLKS. here the fuCK i am.
he has always been a hurricane.
there are moments in a person’s life big enough for a single choice to put them on a completely different path, and then — there are those moments, much smaller moments, adding up to that one, bigger, monumental, life-changing moment. this is one of the latter.
the moon is heaven bright, swinging low in a full-bellied sky, and insomnia had plagued you till you’d come into the inner gardens for refuge. at least here, it felt like you were stuck between the pages of a waking dream. so
 sleep-adjacent, right? right.
you swing your feet off the edge of the pristinely mopped wooden walkways, your sketchbook propped in your lap, a charcoal pencil gliding over the smooth, moon-bleached pages. you let your hand take the drawing where it wants, and these days, there’s only one place that your hand (and, subsequently the rest of your mind and body) seems to want to go.
masamune.
he appears as fish-tail flicks of your wrist bring him to life on the pages, each sketch fluid and overlapping with the next, almost like the depiction of dance — the crinkle at the edge of his eye, the curve of his hand as he rests it on the hilt of one of his blades, the strong, graceful slope of his shoulders and back, the crescent moon curve of his lips as he smiles, ever light, ever teasing, in your direction.
“ah
is that what i look like?”
his voice makes you jump, and even now after all this time, it sets your heart racing in your chest as you whirl around to find his nose inches from yours, that self-same smile hinged across his damnably gorgeous lips.
“w-wh — why aren’t you sleeping?” is your stumbling, cobbled together response to being jump-scared in the middle of his castle pagoda, but it’s the best you could come up with. he only leans back, chuckling, his arms tucked into the long thin sleeves of his kosode as he casts his eye up towards the full moon, his expression for once devoid if mischief or calculation. it’s strange, seeing him like this, so still and so quiet, and something about it makes you go still too, wondering if this is what its like to be caught in the eye of the storm, where the quiet is only ever momentary and destruction dances just beyond where your mind can reach.
“i could ask the same of you, kitten. so tell me
why aren’t you sleeping?” he grins as he joins you, propping one arm on a bent knee, watching as you gather yourself, palms pressing to the pages of your sketchbook.
“i
i couldn’t sleep.” you look down at your own knees, and it strikes you then that your feet are still bare. you can’t help glancing at masamune, and sure enough, his feet are bare too. no wonder i hadn’t heard him coming.
but something about this sets you off, the sight of his bare feet next to yours, and even though it shouldn’t be so tantalizing a thing — the flicker of bare flesh, the hint of skin unseen— you feel like one of those ancient victorian maidens, blushing at the sight of bare ankles.
you can’t help it; you start to laugh.
and masamune, sitting beside you, finds himself transfixed, held still by the sound of your laughter, pouring from you like rainwater from a stream. so clear and beautiful it sets his body arrack with shivers.
“what?” he asks, quirking an eyebrow, “is there something on my face?”
at this, you pause, stifling your giggles with a hand pressed to your lips, and you look at him. your eyes meet, and not for the first time, you feel yourself falling into them — into him. even like this, his one blue eye is something of a miracle, a thing of celestial majesty. it wasn’t until you’d met him that you’d realized what blue eyes look like up close — up close, they are the shattered light of a millions stars, fractured and reformed and singing through a universe of endless dark to end up here, shining out from him and landing on you, and god — he’s looking at you like all those million, billion years of starlight had traveled the expanse of every galaxy just to look at you.
just to see you like he does now.
“no
there isn’t,” you say, whisper, more like, reaching out a hand to trace your thumb over the lid of his closed eye. he doesn’t push you away. instead, he leans in closer.
“then, what’s so funny, kitten?”
you simply shake your head, trying to swallow down your belly-full of laughter, your mind showing you a strobe-quick flash-forward of you trying to explain the concept of foot kinks and websites that cater to such 500 years in the future before deciding — no. alas, tonight is not the night you try to educate one date masamune on the intricacies of body part kinks. though no doubt he’d take it in stride. no — that thought too, you tamp down before you’ve the mind to follow it down into a deep, dark rabbit hole from whence you might never recover or be recovered.
“tell me, please
” he grins, a grin that is simultaneously plea and pleasure, and in it, you can hear the knife-sharp promise of desire, “i’d like to know if something other than me has the power to make you laugh so much.”
“it’s just —” you bite your lips, fighting for the words, “we’re both barefoot.”
he blinks. and you can tell that whatever he was expecting the answer to be, this is clearly not it.
you track the flitter of emotions as they dance in quicksilver steps across the planes of his face — surprise, confusion, amusement, all painted porcelain perfect on the dark of his brows, the faint twitch of his lips. finally, he settles on a sorted of muted bemusement as he cocks his head at you.
“and
do people of your time tend to sleep with socks on?”
“no, it’s just
” you blush again, unable to help yourself.
“just what?” his voice is light, and he is still.
you swallow, hard,
“just
 it’s weird — i mean — it’s not like i haven’t seen anyone else barefoot before just
this was — you’re just — and i —” you trip over your words in a hurry and end up tumbling through into incoherence so fast all you can do to styme the flood is to clamp your mouth shut and pray.
oh god please
tell me this is a bad dream.
but when you open your eyes, masamune is still there, watching you with that singular eye of his, expression inscrutable. and still, he doesn’t move.
“so
” and finally, finally, the stillness breaks — he cracks it open like an eggshell, stretching himself out as he leans back, propping himself up on his elbows, lengthening till he’s splayed out over the gleaming wooden boards of the walkway, his face bathed in ghostly moonlight.
“i’m not the first man you’ve seen barefoot, hm? that is a problem.”
your mouth drops open and for a moment, you gape at him wordless and fish-like, and he laughs as he turns to look at you.
“tell me his name — i’ll have his head in the morning,” he says, in a voice so casually serious that for a moment you think he might actually mean it.
“masamune!”
and then, he’s laughing too, a big, bright, uproarious thing that shakes his entire body like the foundations of the earth. it is deep and rich and lovely, warm and sweet as sun-kissed honey. you let yourself be swept up in his laughter, dropping into silent giggles, and then something louder, letting your shoulder bump into his, your bodies finally touching and then —
there’s a flurry of clothing, a shifting of weights. you find yourself pulled into him, tipping towards him like inevitability.
your sketchbook lays forgotten on the walkway next to you as masamune holds you close against his chest.
“ah
 i really don’t like that
”
an entourage of tingles frissons through your body at his words.
“don’t like what?”
“the fact that you’ve seen someone else barefoot before. it bugs me.”
you peer up at him, lifting your head ever so slightly from his chest. he’s looking at you, and the sunrise-blue of his eyes are shadowed with something darker now, something decidedly less innocent than just the thought of bare feet.
“then
what will you do about it?” you ask, feeling the heat of his body, the solidness of him, the rightness of you between his arms.
“hm
are you teasing me, kitten?” his voice is gravel and earthquake and you’re emboldened by the sound, by the way his pupil dilates, the black hole at the center of every galaxy — gravity made solid, made real.
“yes,” you breathe, leaning up like a dare and he meets you gloriously, his lips hard and pressing and soft and pulling. there’s a fire unspooling at the base of your spine, stoked by the heat and truth of him, so close, too close — you break apart gasping. he grins, lynx-like and wolfish as he grazes his teeth along the column of your throat.
“good,” he says, sighing into your flesh as you arch up into him, your fingers curling into his hair as he flips the pair of you over. he pulls you beneath him and he is storm and thunder, he is rain and wonder — he is water to your desert skies, the sunlit days to all your moonless nights.
and as he makes to rend you into pleasure, into nothing more than ache and belonging, he pulls back with a bone-deep growl, a sliver of hesitation, of self-preservation.
“are
are you sure you want this?” that you want me? the echo is not lost on you.
and it’s not the first time he’s asked you the question, and you have a feeling that it wouldn’t be the last. but you reply as you had, once upon a time, in a distant, sun-drenched afternoon, when you’d been telling him about one of your favorite poems from your time.
you smile, tug him down for a kiss.
“yes,” you say, like you’d done on that long-ago afternoon, “i want you — i want this, masamune. because
 I love you.”
“i will love you when you are a still day
i will love you when you are a hurricane.”

Hello there. May I have an Ikesen request?
How do you think the Warlords would react to a witch MC? (I'm a big fan of The Vampire's Diaries and The Originals TV series). Thanks â˜ș
Hello! A witch mc, huh? I think I never really wrote about one, thank you for the request!
Witch MC.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga could tell there was something different about you, a mysterious air that surrounded you. He noticed that the moment you saved him from the fire, when you rushed out of the temple with him, it was as if the fire moved out of the way.
There was also your knowledge over herbs, he even thought you might have been a healer and that you would fit in as Ieyasu’s student. He found out the truth after interrogating you personally, Nobunaga was curious after hearing about strange “medicines” that you were able to make (AKA potions).
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi, as usual, kept his eyes on you since the very beginning. He could swear he saw you make a vase levitate, hideyoshi was about to help you carry it since it looked heavy but stopped on his tracks. Of course, it was for a split second as you carried the vase yourself.
He wasn’t one to focus on believing in the supernatural, but he also didn’t disbelieve it. Hideyoshi wondered if you could pose a threat to Nobunaga, but his mind changed after you prepared a special medicine for him when he got sick from overworking himself. It worked like magic as it made his fever go away immediately. Well, whatever you were, you didn’t seem to have bad intentions.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide was naturally curious about you, since you showed up out of nowhere and saved Nobunaga. But he felt intrigued the more he investigated you. Your strange behavior by talking to animals, how you would manage to make objects disappear when no one was seeing.
Different from Nobunaga, he does his interrogation in a way that puts you on a spot, as if he is just making an innocent question. You are forced to reveal your identity, which would seem absurd had mitsuhide not seen with his own eyes. Considering your abilities, he will think about dragging you to one of his missions.
Masamune date.
Masamune found out on accident, he was going to the kitchen so that he could make dinner, but noticed that it was busy. He would have approached you had he not seen the strange ingredients you were using. Upon further observation, masamune saw smoke and bubbles emerging from the pot you were using to cook, or at least he thought it was cooking. Once you were done, he became curious about what you made.
Imagine his surprise when you appeared with a special kind of medicine for the soldiers that were still heavily injured that made them recover very fast. While that will make him confront you about what exactly you were making, he will just want to know as he was grateful that you used your knowledge to help the soldiers. What you made was really a healing potion.
Mitsunari Ishida.
Mitsunari was a bit more oblivious to the signs that you were a witch, though it wasn’t because he didn’t notice. It was more because he didn’t want to sound rude by questioning you. Sometimes you would come back with quite the different herbs for the medicine you were able to make, there were times he could swear he saw objects levitating.
He could be wrong, but he thought he saw you turn a bandit that cornered you into
a frog? Nevertheless, he was aware of your powers, though he pretended to not know for your sake.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Ieyasu was skeptical when nobunaga said that you would be helping him with the other healers of the castle, he didn’t trust you could handle it without proper training from him. However, he changed his mind the moment he saw the results of your medicine, it helped the injured soldiers and sick vassals heal immediately. He studied medicine for a long time, so it’s natural that he was surprised by how efficient you were making herbal medicine.
It hurted his pride a little as well, since he never discovered anything like it before. But, he could put his pride aside as long as you could show him how you made your so called healing potions.
Ranmaru Mori.
Ranmaru would discover of your abilities after he caught you making a whole decorative pot that was broken disappearing before his eye. He was about to turn around the corner to greet you when he saw you using magic. He preferred to keep a low profile and hide before you could notice him.
Being a ninja, it wasn’t hard for ranmaru to sneak around without being noticed, though he believed that, despite what he saw, you couldn’t possibly be a bad person. That’s why he would act like nothing happened until you were more comfortable sharing your secret with him.
Keiji.
Keiji knows how it feels to hide a part of yourself to stay safe, though in your case it seemed like something much bigger than a part of your personality. Just like you would inevitably find out about his two faced nature, he was able to discover your powers as a witch. In a way, both had blackmail over each other, which would create a connection and a bond between you two.
Besides, it’s not like he didn’t find your powers fascinating, so he was far from scared.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin isn’t someone who would overreact or be surprised by supernatural things, as long as he could fight it, he was happy. Although you did manage to catch him off guard a bit. In the middle of a fight, he saw you using your magic to throw the opponent flying away from you.
To him it was unexpected, but that didn’t faze him to stop fighting. After defeating all of the enemies that caught you two off guard, he won’t waste time questioning you about how you were able to do that. And after getting his answers, he will ask (demand) that you use your powers again.
Shingen takeda.
Is this the power of an angel? Dramatic quotes aside, it won’t take long for him to discover of your abilities, there is nothing that can be hidden from this man after all. But he would keep a secret for your safety, he knew how stressful it was to keep something hidden from others.
You would feel so grateful that you would dedicate yourself to create a healing potion powerful enough to heal his sickness (it was only natural that you would be able to notice that he had an illness). Words just can’t describe how grateful he would be.
Yukimura Sanada.
Ah, he knew it! You are an evil witch who will turn him into an animal! Since the moment you two met, he was already calling you a sorceress for being able to charm people with your personality (that isn’t magic, just social skills). But to actually get a confirmation that you are a witch will make him feel very weary of you. It will take time for him to understand that you aren’t a threat.
Of course, eventually he will let himself go around you, seeing that you would turn him into a frog.
Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Yoshimoto wouldn’t pry in your affairs in any shape or form, after all he respected your privacy. So, even when he noticed some suspicious activities coming from you, he decided to give you the benefit of the doubt, not sure if he would regret it later. However, your never did anything to harm anyone in Kasugayama, he would trust you no matter how strange some of your actions were, just like he trusts sasuke (despite not having the best of relationships with him).
Even after finding out about your powers, he will treat you like a real celestial maiden (kind of like Shingen would, must be a family thing).
Kanetsugu.
Kanetsugu always kept his eyes on you from the moment you arrived at Kasugayama castle, being weary that you could be dangerous to Kenshin (though he highly doubted you could harm him). He was always stern, which made you be more careful about using your powers near him.
Though, even after he catches you using your magic, he won’t throw you in the prison cells. However, that does not mean he completely trusts you. For safety reasons, Kanetsugu will be glued to you, almost like you were his prisoner just to ensure you wouldn’t use your magic against his lord (eventually it won’t be bad at all to have him always by your side though).
Sasuke.
Sasuke would be one of the first ones to find out that you are a witch, one because he is already familiar with the concept since he is also from the modern world, and two because he could easily put two and two together to understand what you were. It all started after he goes to see you by going to your celling. He will accidentally catch you using your magic when you think that you are alone in your room.
He will apologize first of all for sneaking in like that, which will be followed by a million of questions, some of which include participating on a research of his own.

A Very Important Mission
This is the first Ikesen fanfic I have done. I only started playing a little bit ago and have only finished two routes so I apologize if the characters are a bit out of character but I hope not. It's just a cute little fluff idea I had pop into my head, WC approx 500. Tagging @echoes-in-the-forest as they heard about this awhile ago from me.
Tumblr media
Ieyasu lay face down on the ground, his body bruised and sore. All he wanted was to close his eyes for just a moment's peace, as they began to flutter shut he thought back to how he had come to be like this.
“You wanted to see me Nobunaga?”
“Yes, I have a very important mission for you”
“Really?”
I knew then that something seemed wrong, I should have listened to my gut feeling.
“I'm honored but wouldn't Hideyoshi be better suited to this type of mission?”
“Hideyoshi is also a part of the mission Masamune and Mai have been sent on . Besides, I have great confidence in your abilities.”
Really though what could I say to-
Ieyasu's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of running footsteps.
Not yet, please not yet.
“I found him!”
Suddenly there was a solid weight landing on his back and he let out a groan. The first weight was soon followed by two more pressing the air from his lungs.
“We caught you Uncle!”
“Not Uncle Sakura remember, he's a scary beast!”
“Oh right, we caught you scary beast!”
“Either way you caught me, now get off me!”
Three sets of blue eyes blinked and looked at each other before scurrying off of Ieyasu's back.
“Well, aren't we having fun.”
“Daddy!”
Ieyasu turned his head to see the children running towards Masamune. The youngest, Sakura, went leaping straight into his open arms for a big hug.
“Oh thank God!”
Ieyasu pulled himself up off the ground while the three children continued to jump around Masamune in excitement.
“Thanks for looking after them for us, we owe you a big meal.”
“You owe me more than that, do you have any idea what they did to me all week? There's drawings all over the manor walls, they ran everywhere, I ache in places I never imagined and this one.”
Ieyasu pointed at a young boy with chestnut hair who quickly spoke up before whatever he had done could be imparted to his father.
“Guess what Dad, Uncle Ieyasu showed me and Iroh how to shoot a bow!”
“Did he now?”
“Ya it was so much fun!”
“You each kept missing your targets and grew impatient when I instructed you to aim properly!”
“Aiming is boring.”
“I give up you're both too reckless just like your parents.”
Masume raised his eyebrow at Ieyasu's comment but laughed all the same.
“What about you Princess?”
“Uncle said I was too little for a bow, but he taught me this.”
Sakura stood up straight and pulled a fan from within her clothes. She twirled it and tossed it in the air in graceful complex motions, catching it each and every time.
“That's boring, you can't use a fan to fight with.”
Sakura looked at her brother with fiery eyes and threw her fan right at him hitting him squarely between the eyes causing their other brother and father to double over in laughter.
“Too little or not, maybe I should have taught her to shoot instead.”

Ieyasu Beauty đŸ„ș
for @ikemenlover
Ah Ieyasu. I think he may be my favorite grump. So tender on the inside, so prickly on the outside! Approx 800 words of love at first sight! 1K Follower Celebration Ikesen Edition!
Ieyasu made his way to the war council. His jaw was set, his shoulders tense. War was certain after the cowardly attempt on Nobunaga’s life. This meeting would only direct their aggression, point it at the enemy of the Oda, whoever it was that dared stand in the way of unification.
He stepped into the chamber, and stopped. There was a woman at the council. Her eyes fell on him and he could not move. They were such kind eyes. Her lips curved in a smile that had never known violence or pain. Ieyasu was entranced. She was so beautiful, so innocent, that it hurt him to see her here.
A woman like this was meant to be held in a tower, safe and separate from the world. Where her lover could run his fingers through the silken strands of her hair, which hung even now temptingly down her back, beckoning his touch. A place where only the sun and his hands could caress her tender skin with the gentlest of touches. His fingers ached to stroke the softness of her cheek.
Ieyasu did not believe in love at first sight, even when it tugged at his heart. “What is she doing here?” His brusque voice was a shield against her soft gaze.
“This is my luck charm. She pulled me from the fires at Honno-ji.” Nobunaga’s reply made no sense to Ieyasu.
This delicate creature pulled him from the flames? He could not imagine it. Ieysasu scowled at her, hoping she would look away. That her sweet smile would fall from her lips and leave in its place a common expression. Greed or malice or injured pride.
She ducked her head a moment as if embarrassed by the introduction. “I didn’t do anything special. And I’m not sure why I’m here either.”
Her voice, when she spoke, sent a shiver down Ieyasu’s spine. It was a divine sound, her strange accent lent a music to her speech. He wanted to hear her say more. He wanted to never hear her speak again. “Then leave,” he told the woman with a glare.
She laughed, and he felt his heart leap.
Ieyasu sat and tried to ignore her. As easy to ignore the light of the rising sun. The rush of the tide. He could barely follow the conversation around the table. His gaze was drawn to her, his ears strained to hear her, his heart thudded against his ribs at her nearness.
Her beauty was a distraction. He promised himself to avoid her after this. There were things he had yet to do, and he could not afford any interference. This would be the only time he saw her, this first and last moment. He drank in the sight of her, allowing himself this one weakness only because he would never allow it again.
“I give the protection of my lucky charm to you, Ieyasu.” Nobunaga’s voice pulled him from his contemplation.
“What?”
Masamune snorted while Hideyoshi looked offended on the Oda’s behalf.
Nobunaga smiled, imperious and regal as always. “You will keep her safe for me. Keep her occupied. Keep her happy. And bring her to me when I have need of her.”
A pure sort of rage over took the beauty’s expression, like the wrath of heaven. “I’m not some object you can hand over to just anyone! You can’t just send me off like that without even asking what I want!”
Ieyasu had his own reasons for arguing against such an arrangement. “Surely someone else is better suited. I don’t have time to babysit.”
Nobunaga was unmoved by their complaints. “You have your orders. You will obey.”
The beauty blinked in surprise, as if she’d believed her entreaties would find purchase. Such naivete. It struck Ieyasu as almost child-like. It brought to his mind his own childish beliefs, now long-shattered.
He struggled with himself for a breath. He wanted her close; he couldn’t be near her. He had to obey his lord; he rebelled against the casual, senseless command. In the end, Ieyasu yielded to the reality of his situation. His lord commanded this, and so it would be. He ignored the way his pulse sped at the thought of her in his home.
“I’m sorry for the inconvenience,” she told him as they left the war council together. Her hand lay on his arm, her light touch made his skin prickle with awareness.
“Don’t apologize,” he snapped.
The look of hurt that crossed her face wounded him. “Alright. I just . . . you don’t seem to like me much. I know you don’t want to look after me so . . . I just wanted to say I’ll do my best not to burden you.”
“You can’t help but be burdensome.” He watched her from the corner of his eye, heartbeat roaring in his ears. Her beauty hurt him. An unexpected pain, one he felt would heal at a touch, a smile from her. But he couldn’t allow it. Would not.
Ieyasu promised himself that he would brook no distraction, no weakness. No matter how lonely the path, he would reach his goals. Strength. Power. No one would ever hurt him again. And that meant he would never open his heart, not even to this girl with her gentle smile and her kind eyes.

It has been such a loooong time since I last wrote a fanfic.
I need to be more productive so that I can put the plot I have imagined into words.
This is a small part of the fanfic I'm working on.
This is basically a fanfic series for my OC, Hoshino Hana, in Ikemen Sengoku setting (an alternate ending for Shingen route to be more precise). These short fics are about the time when Masamune, Ieyasu and Mitsunari are accidentally sent to modern day Japan along with Mai (ikesen MC), Shingen and Sasuke.
I keep the number of characters low because my writing skills are not good enough to handle a plot with too many characters. Besides, Masamune, Ieyasu and Mitsunari are my favourite characters from the Oda faction.

Note
I was recently watching "Teletubbies" with my young nieces (who are BIG fans) and I had an idea: Imagine our beloved Sengoku Warlord Boys watching the exact show with Mai/MC?
But if you never watched it, or if its not to your liking, fine by me. Just felt like asking.
Thanks anyway!!
Hi Anon!
Thank you for dropping by the inbox with an ask! In fact, I have never watched it, so I needed to first watch a few episodes. Um... Well. That theme song is... er... catchy.
Ikesen Warlords Watch The Teletubbies:
Nobunaga: “It is gratifying that in the future, life is relaxed enough that small children are permitted this light form of education and entertainment
. Now. Never show this to me again.”
Hideyoshi:  Watches several episodes out of politeness and then is “rewarded” by a theme song earworm with a mental half-life of six weeks.
Masamune: Tries to recreate Tubby Custard and Tubby toast for MC. First ever food #fail in the kitchens of Masamune.
Mitsuhide: Takes the Tubby Custard off Masamune’s hands. Also
upon learning that the theme song gets stuck in Hideyoshi’s head, makes sure to faintly hum it whenever they cross paths.
Ieyasu: For MC’s sake, attempted to watch it. That is, until the giant baby’s head rises in the sky and he exits so quickly that he creates an Ieyasu shaped hole in the wall. Last seen cowering in a dark room in his manor, clutching his emotional support sourdough starter.
Mitsunari:  Pretends to watch for MC’s sake, but really is just sitting there, re-reading one of the books he has stored in his head. Unfortunately, the theme song also gets stuck in his head (not that he notices), and he unconsciously sings it to himself
which, once again, gives Hideyoshi an earworm.
Keiji and Ranmaru: Are MST3K’ing their way through every episode. Have memorized the opening dance steps. And the theme song (much to Hideyoshi’s dismay).
Kenshin: “What fresh hell
 wait. ... Are those bunnies?”
Kanetsugu: Kenshin: “Kanetsugu, we’re watching the Teletubbies.” Kanetsugu: “??” (thinking: “What fresh hell
”) Kenshin: “You will join us, will you not?” Kanetsugu: “I have to go do something on the other side of the castl
” (Looks at Kenshin. Sighs.) “
ok.”
Shingen: Politely watches because MC asks it of him
and is rewarded the Teletubbie’s giant toast/ejector machine inspires an idea for a new kind of catapult. And then is rewarded again when MC is so turned on by watching him build said catapult that she takes the initiative and seduces him.
Yoshimoto:  Finds the show oddly lulling and falls asleep within the first ten minutes. Unfortunately, then he has a nightmare of giant flatulent periscope-like monsters.
Yukimura:  Watches for about five minutes. Turns to MC. “This
 explains everything.”
Sasuke:  MC: “Sasuke, we’re watching the Teletubbies.” Sasuke: “We? We who?” Walks into the room sees MC, Kenshin, Kanetsugu, and wall to wall bunnies. What fresh hell
? Backs away slowly.
Kennyo: In theory, likes the idea of a gentle show geared toward soothing small children. In practice – would rather sit down to tea with Nobunaga than endure another episode.
Motonari: Watches the credit sequence, noting the rolling hills and neat flower beds. “MC, is this what it looks like inside yer head?”
Kicho: “And you wonder why I wish to erase this future?”

"I Do, My Love!"- Mitsunari Pt 1: The Proposal
The start of my ikesen wedding event! Here we are with Mitsunari! I hope you all enjoy!
Mitsunari sat at the breakfast table, Ava beside him, as they ate the meal she had so lovingly prepared. “This truly is delicious, Ava.” He told her, giving her his signature angelic smile.
She returned it with a bright and beautiful smile of her own. “I am glad you like it.” She replied. “And after breakfast I’ll help you fix your hair. I know you probably have a busy day.”
“Yes
it seems we both have been busy lately.” Mitsunari replied with a sigh, lifting his hand to gently cup the side of her face.
“Yes, I do have that wedding kimono I am working on for that visiting daimyo’s daughter.” Ava replied. “I’m hoping to be finished with it today or tomorrow.”
“It’s going to be such a lovely kimono.” Mitsunari replied.
“I just hope she loves it. In my time, women will spend tons of money and time agonizing over the most perfect wedding look.” Ava explained, her eyes taking on a dreamy look. “Lots of women have their dream dress imagined from the time they’re very young.”
Mitsunari picked up on the way Ava’s eyes danced as she spoke about the weddings from her time. He bet making a wedding kimono was making her think about weddings. “Really?” He asked, wanting to hear more of her sweet voice and also wanting to know more of what she was thinking.
Ava nodded. “Yup and some women have the entire wedding planned from the time they’re young girls. Just waiting on the right man.”
“I see.” Mitsunari replied. “Are you one of those women?” He asked.
Ava’s cheeks reddened. “I mean
I’ve always thought about it. I don’t have every detail picked out
but I do know what I’d like
every woman dreams about it.”
Mitsunari smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her red cheeks. “You’re so cute when you blush
and thank you for telling me.” He told her, an idea already taking hold in his beautiful and brilliant mind.
After finishing their breakfast, the pair went through the rest of their usual morning routine. Once dressed, Ava was fixing Mitsunari’s hair. “All finished.” She declared, having tamed his unruly cowlick.
Mitsunari caught her hand in his as she began to pull away, bringing it to his lips to kiss her palm. “Thank you, Ava. I don’t know what I would do without you.” He told her, his amethyst eyes looking at her with such love.
Ava smiled at him. “I love you, Mitsunari.” She replied, leaning in to press a light kiss to his lips.
“I love you, too Ava.” Mitsunari replied.
After finishing up their morning routines, the pair were walking towards the castle together. They parted ways when Ava went to join the other seamstresses as Mitsunari headed to the archives. Mitsunari looking for a few books and grabbing them, sitting down at one of the tables and opening the first book.
He looked at the page, but his mind, which was usually laser focused on his research, couldn't stop wandering. He couldn’t help but to keep thinking back to this morning with Ava and their conversation about weddings.
“You do not appear to be focused on your book.”
Mitsunari looked up to see Masamune and Hideyoshi standing in the door. Though he wasn’t entirely sure on which one of them had spoken. “No.” He replied. “I’m feeling
distracted.”
Hideyoshi and Masamune were coming to sit down with him. “What’s on your mind lad?” Masamune asked.
“Is it something to do with Ava?” Hideyoshi asked him.
Mitsunari nodded. “Yes
I need to speak with Lord Nobunaga.” He said, having seemingly come to a decision.
“Well, how convenient that I am here to summon you all to council.” Mitsuhide said, as he slithered in the door, a cheshire grin on his face.
The men were all heading to the council room and the war council began. Mitsunari was sitting resolute through the entire thing, just waiting to be able to speak with Lord Nobunaga. He was normally a very patient person, but he couldn’t wait for the official council to be over.
“That concludes the usual business. You all have your orders.” Nobunaga informed the remaining vassals, but called for his inner circle to stay. He then looked towards Mitsunari. “You have something you wish to discuss.” He stated.
Mitsunari nodded anyway. “Yes, my lord
I would like your permission to marry Lady Ava.”
Hideyoshi’s eyes went wide as Masamune, Mitsuhide, and Keiji were all chuckling. Keiji and Masamune were both passing some money over to Mitsuhide. Ieyasu just gave Mitsunari an irriated look. Nobunaga was wearing an amused smile.
“Is that so?” Nobunaga replied. “You feel that you can provide for Ava?”
“Yes
and well from the way she was talking this morning
I think that she has been thinking about marriage a lot.” Mitsunari answered. “And well
I don’t want to live without her.”
“Are you sure about that, Mitsunari?” Hideyoshi asked. “This is a very big commitment.”
Mitsunari nodded. “Yes, Ava is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
“I give you my permission
should Ava say yes that is.” Nobunaga declared.
Mitsunari bowed to Lord Nobunaga. “Thank you, my lord.”
“Now comes the matter of your proposal.” Masamune declared, with a grin.
“Yes, you definitely want to ask her in just the right way.” Mitsuhide added.
“It should be romantic and thoughtful.” Hideyoshi told his vassal. “Something truly special for Ava. She is an Oda Princess and you are an Oda warlord.”
Mitsunari nodded. “Yes, I want to make it very special for her.” He agreed. “I want to make all of her dreams come true.”
“Alright, we will come up with the best proposal strategy.” Nobunaga declared with a grin, his carnelian eyes filled with mirth and determination.
“Thank you for all of your help.” Mitsunari replied.
“We’ll help you make sure this is the best proposal Lady Ava has ever seen!” Ranmaru declared with a bright smile.
The warlords all sat down then, helping Mitsunari plan the best possible proposal for Ava.
A few days later

I had woken up to find Mitsunari already gone for the day and a sweet note left on my pillow. He had been busy recently. Constantly in meetings and having to go out and perform several inspections and training exercises with Hideyoshi. We weren’t getting much time together at all.
“Such is the life of the lover of such a warlord, though.” I spoke to myself as I read the note my love had left me. Just explaining that he was going to be gone for the day, but that he would see me at a banquet that was being held tonight at the castle.
“Hmm
I wonder if we’ll be able to slip out of the banquet early so we can spend some time together.” I pondered to myself as I got up and started going about my morning routine. I hoped Mitsunari had eaten breakfast
and that he was able to get his hair straightened out
even if I did like doing those things for him.
I went about my day as usual, heading to work with the other seamstresses. I was surprised when I saw Mitsunari leaving the seamstresses workroom. He was being escorted out by one of the other girls, who was wearing a bright smile.
“Thank you for your help.” Mitsunari told her, returning her smile.
“I’m always happy to help Lord Mitsunari.” She replied.
“Hey, what are you guys doing here?” I called as I approached them, a gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach. He’s probably just asking her to mend something or other
even though that thought bothered me as well. Why would he ask anyone else to help him?
“Oh, Lady Ava.” The other seamstress greeted me, both she and Mitsunari seemed surprised by my approach.
“I had just asked Miss Hina to help me with something for Lord Hideyoshi.” Mitsunari answered, though something about the way he spoke made it seem like that was a practiced answer.
“Yup and I really hope I was able to help you with that, Lord Mitsunari.” Hina replied. She was then bowing and heading into the workroom.
I turned to say something to Mitsunari when he was speaking first. “I’m sorry, but I have to go. I’ll see you at the banquet tonight.” He was then giving me a quick kiss on the cheek before departing.
I couldn’t help but to feel a little down. We had hardly seen each other all week and now he was talking with another seamstress and it just seemed like they were hiding something. I hoped I was just imagining things. Mitsunari was just kind to everyone
though I still couldn’t shake the feeling that he was hiding something from me.
I gave my cheeks a light smack. I had work to focus on and Mitsunari was just doing work and being his kind self. That was all it was. I headed into the work room and my suspicions were reignited when the other girls appeared to be rushing to hide something and speaking to each other in hushed whispers.
I tried to focus on my work, but my mind just kept racing. My day ended up passing by in a blur of anxiety and worry before it was finally time for the banquet. Though I had to admit I was almost not feeling much like a banquet.
I was given a note to head to my old room in the castle to prepare for the banquet. Though I lived with Mitsunari now, Nobunaga had still kept my room in the castle for me. He had told me it would always be there for me no matter what I wanted to use it for.
I headed there and was surprised when Mitsunari greeted me. “I’m glad you’re here.” He said, smiling at me.
“Mitsunari, what’s going on?” I asked.
Mitsunari smiled at me, warm and angelic as he held a hand out to me. “I am here to help you get ready.” He answered. He was then gesturing to a beautiful kimono that was hanging up in the room. It was lavender-colored and had white and gold floral embroidery at the hem. There was also a golden obi with a lavender cord.
“Wh-what?” I asked.
“You’re always taking care of me, Ava. I want to take care of you.” He told me. “And I wanted to get you this special kimono.”
“Wait
so you weren’t actually talking to Hina about something for Hideyoshi?” I asked.
“No. I was getting this for you.” He answered, still smiling.
I was then throwing my arms around him. “Oh, Mitsunari! That’s so sweet of you!” I said as I hugged him tightly.
I felt his arms coming around me as he held me close. “I had hoped you would be happy.” He said. “And I am sorry if I made you worry.”
“I’m sorry for ever worrying or doubting you.” I replied, feeling so relieved.
Mitsunari pulled back slightly to look at me, his hand coming up to cup my face. “You
you were jealous?” He asked.
I felt my cheeks heating up, but I nodded. “Yes
it just
well it seemed so suspicious. We haven’t seen each other much this week and then you were talking to another seamstress
I should have known. I know you love me.”
Mitsunari’s smile seemed to become even more beautiful. “Is it
I am sorry
I didn’t mean for it to look that way. I can see how it would
but is it bad that I am happy you were jealous over me?”
“It’s not bad.” I replied. “I like it when you get jealous over me.”
Mitsunari leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to my forehead. “I love you, Ava.” He assured me. “There is no one else for me.”
“Oh
Mitsunari
I feel the same way about you. I love you so very much.” I replied, stretching up to kiss his lips.
Mitsunari returned my kiss, holding me close. When he broke the kiss, he was smiling at me. “Alright, now let’s get you ready.” He said.
Mitsunari was determined to help me get ready for the banquet. I truly appreciated his efforts and everything he was doing
though while he was trying to help me get obi on, he somehow fumbled and we ended up tumbling to the floor together. When he was helping me with my hair, he couldn’t quite get the pins in right and the style kept falling down.
“I’m sorry, Ava.” Mitsunari said. “I just keep failing
and I practiced so hard. Lord Keiji let me practice on his hair under Lord Hideyoshi and Lord Mitsuhide’s instructions.”
“You
you practiced on Keiji?” I asked, smiling. “Oh, that’s so sweet. Mitsunari it’s the thought that counts.” I was then hugging my love.
Mitsunari smiled as he hugged me close and kissed my cheek. “I just want you to know I can take care of you, too.”
“And you do.” I replied. “You provide me a safe place where I feel loved. You’re working to make a safe and peaceful world we can live in. You’re truly amazing Mitsunari.”
He rested his forehead against mine, his amethyst eyes looking into mine. “You are truly amazing Ava.” He told me before kissing me lovingly.
We took a few extra moments before finally heading to the banquet to join everyone else. We had both decided to leave my hair down. We were, of course, the last to arrive. “About time you two got here.” Masamune teased.
“Knowing what he was up to I’m surprised they’re not still tripping and walking into the walls of her room.” Ieyasu grumbled.
“Alright now, come on let’s give the lad a break.” Masamune said to Ieyasu. “This is a big night for him after all.”
“Oh, are we celebrating something?” I asked, looking over at Mitsunari. I had honestly thought this banquet was just another moral boosting one.
“I hope to be.” Mitsunari answered, smiling at me.
Hideyoshi was giving Masamune a stern look, but otherwise not saying anything. Nobunaga was watching everything with an amused smile.
I did my best to ignore them and focused on Mitsunari. “What do you mean?” I asked him as we took our seats.
Mitsunari nodded as he took my hand in his and laced our fingers together. He had a rather serious expression on his face. “Ava, I have been thinking
and planning.” He began. “And I wanted to make tonight really special. I love you very much and I can’t imagine my life without you. I want you by my side always and to be by your side always. I know that you are the only woman for me
will you stay with me always? Will you marry me?”
I gasped as his words registered in my mind. “Oh! Mitsunari! Yes!” I exclaimed as I threw my arms around him, forgetting about everyone else around us for the moment.
Mitsunari’s angelic smile was bright as the sun as he hugged me back. “I am so happy.” He said, kissing my forehead and then a light peck on my lips.
“Wait
so is that why you’ve been busy all week? You were planning
planning to propose?” I asked.
Mitsunari nodded. “Yes.I wanted to make it special for you.” He said.
“Well, I think this calls for a toast.” Masamune declared.
“Yes, we drink to your engagement tonight.” Nobunaga declared lifting his cup.
I was so happy. The man I loved more than anything had proposed and we were celebrating our engagement with our closest friends. I was truly the happiest woman alive.

Masamune Date x Reader - “Snuggle Bug”
Waking up every morning beside Masamune was the best thing you ever had the pleasure of being exposed to. What will you do when one morning he doesn’t want to get out of bed and keeps you from conducting your work as a chatelaine?
Tumblr media
Requested by anon: “*slides a bag of potato chips as payment across the table to you* what about some clingy masamune x reader, where he just wants attention and is like cuddly, and soft, a lot of nuzzling probably, it could be in the morning where he doesn’t want her to leave the bed, bc he wants to cuddle and sneak in a few smooches, thank even if you don’t do it, I’ll just read other works of yours, your writing is just amazing!”
A/N: Hope you like it!
Warnings: Lazy Masa, fluff?
A small hum could be heard from behind her. The arm which was loose around her waist tighten a little. Her skin always became very sensitive around him, he knew that and would never pass up the option of using that to his advantage. His lips unconsciously set against her skin as he nuzzled her neck. In her half awake composure, she smiled softly at his action.
“Morning,” he grumbled, his voice thick from it’s inaction during sleep.
“Good morning,” she chuckled softly, letting him pull her closer in his chest. His nose nuzzled her hair, to which he sighed deeply.
“How was your sleep,” she whispered.
“Good enough.” He murmured before kissing her forehead, “I guess I should thank you for forcing me into bed”
“You were already very tired and then you decide to do extra paperwork, I wasn’t going to leave you on the verge of sleep and hunched over your desk, was I?” He released a small chuckle.
“You’re too good to me!” He reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers together. They savoured the comfortable silence before he groaned loudly.
“What is it?” She jumped at his sudden action.
“I don’t want to do anything today, I wanna cuddle with you,” he mumbled. She grinned widely, laughing.
“You have to, Nobunaga is expecting a report!” (Y/N) turned in his arms, hiding her face in his neck. His arms rested around her again, rubbing circles in her lower back.
“I can call in sick,” he admitted.
“No!” She snorted, shaking her head.
“No, no, that’s a great idea, I tell one of the maids’ I’m sick and I say you caught the bug as well and we can cuddle together all day!” He stated proudly.
“No, really, I can’t Masa, I have too many fittings today!” She cupped his cheek.
“But kitten!” He pouted, “please!”
“I really can’t! Don’t make this harder than it already is, you know how much I love that face!” She pecked his nose.
“Then don’t resist!!” He kept her close, trailing light kisses up and down her neck. She recoiled into herself because of him, a huge grin on her face.
“Stoooop,” her tone was the furthest from serious.
“Nooo,” he retorted.
“I really can’t, I have so much work!” Her eyes were soft as she stared into his.
“I’ll tell Lord Nobunaga to peel some responsibility off of you for today if he comes around okay lass?” He placed his lips against her forehead. Her gaze hardened a little as her expression became more serious.
“You promise this is a one time thing?” She kissed his chin. A small smirk appeared on his lips.
“I don’t guarantee anything but it won’t happen often.” He guaranteed.
“Promise?” She pecked his lips, waiting for a response.
“Promise,” he nodded, capturing her lips in his. His hands travelled up and down her sides before he hovered over her.
“Masa!” She squeaked, holding her hands against her chest and blushing furiously.
“What?” He grinned, palms against the futon either side of her head. He dipped down slowly, her cheeks flushing even more and breathing hitching from the closing distance between them. Slowly, his lips caught hers in a sweet kiss.
“Mmh,” she hummed softly as her hands cupped his cheeks, lips moving against his. She gasped as his teeth bit down on her bottom lip and sucked it softly, eyes locked with hers. Her hands moved up his face, finding their way to the top of his head. Her fingers ran through his hair smoothly, pulling a few strands every now and then.
“Mmh kitten,” he groaned softly, his calloused fingertips trailed down her clothes. A shiver ran down her spine, still somehow feeling his warmth through the fabric that enveloped her. He pulled away to breath, half lidded eyes on her as his lips trailed along her jaw and down to her neck. He left small kisses down to her collarbone before softly nibbling at her skin. A louder gasp escaped her lips.
“Y-you can’t leave a hickey,” her voice was barely above a whisper as she bit her lip shyly.
“I don’t plan to kitten, not now anyway,” she could feel his smirk against her skin before he left a trail of kitten licks up to her cheek. She smiled widely at his action before he nuzzled her neck, pecking it with his lips before letting himself relax above her. Her hands fiddled with small strands on his hair, stopping to hear him breathing from time to time. He chuckled as her thumb ran up and down the back of his neck. (Y/N) swore she could have distinguished a small giggle from the man as well.
“What’s wrong?”
“It tickles!” He nuzzled her neck even more, chest against chest and his arms around her lower back.
“Do you think they will notice if I don’t show up? I can’t be bothered to tell a maid, especially in this position,” he mumbled. The girl chuckled, kissing his forehead.
“It’s the Oda warlords baby, I don’t think they can’t notice, besides, Hideyoshi is there as well, he might be racing here as we speak,”
“And you are correct!” The door slid open, revealing the man in question.
The couples’ eyes widened slightly, a pair of which was hidden by (Y/N)’s neck.
“What are you still doing here? You are late for War Council! And (Y/N), you have duties to fulfil.” Mamabear frowned at them.
“We
. can’t,” Masamune lied.
“And why is that?” Nobunaga’s vassal crossed his arms over his chest, cocking his head to the side questioningly.
Masamune released a fake cough.
“We’re sick,” he admitted wrongly, “ and I’m afraid I might have made the lass sick as well,” the girl found it amusing the conversation the love of her life was having with her skin but directed to his long time colleague and friend.
“You are what?” Hideyoshi’s sudden outburst made them both jump.
“Sick,” the girl whispered, forcing a small cough in the process.
“Oh no!” He shook his head, walking into the room and crouching down beside them.
“No, stay back, you might get sick as well!” Masamune simply raised a weal hand to him, shooing him off.
“But I need to take care of you!” He scoffed.
“Who is going to take care of the rest if you get sick Hideyoshi?” The girl tore his attention away momentarily. He seemed conflicted for a short moment before nodding.
“Very well,” the vassal sighed, “but at least let me send a nurse,”
“Fine,” Masamune replied obligingly. The man stood back up.
“Thank you,” the girl whispered gratefully, to which he responded with a kind smile.
“Rest now,” he nodded, standing back up and slowly sliding the door shut. After his footsteps ceased to be heard, Masamune released an audible breath.
“That was close,”
“Yeah, I’ll have to lecture Hideyoshi as well, he spends too much time worrying about others and disregarding his own health.”
“You’ll still be thinking of me while you do that right?” His grip tightened around her.
“Yes, always!” She chuckled.

Random Ikemen Headcanons:
Pregnancy/Dad edition
Includes 18+ Content
~*Minors DNI*~
IkeRev:
Sirius has wanted a family as long as he can remember. Growing up with little siblings all over the place is a comfort for him. And when you ask him about having kids he’s honestly a little nervous that you don’t want them but respects your choice either way. (That just means he’ll get to be the cool uncle) (Fenrir and Ray disagree) He still gets dad of the year every year, though. Calls the kids ‘sprout’.
Blanc didn’t realize it was his kink until it slipped out one night nonchalantly over tea. “Blanc, I know you like kids but
what about ours?” It was good Oliver had moved elsewhere by this point because you two fucked. Like. Rabbits. While you both thoroughly enjoyed the process of getting pregnant, Blanc absolutely spoils you when you’re pregnant. Massages, carrying you whenever he gets the chance, begging Luka to make you whatever strange food you want. And once the baby is here? Proudest papa when their hair goes white and is admittedly a little nervous that he can be a good dad.
Kyle is excited and nervous the entire time you’re pregnant. Thankfully he has a good role model in his dad and it seems almost effortless how well he parents. You just know you’re in for a world of trouble when you see them, a grown man and toddler, studying a medicine book intently. Guess it’s time to brush up on your genius wrangling skills!
IkeVamp:
Arthur would cry when he learned you were pregnant. There’s 0 way he wouldn’t. Absolutely doting with an edge of being terrified that something will go wrong and he’ll lose the most precious person(s) in his life. A good dose of reality from you and Theo sets him straight. He helped deliver and he was trying not to cry then, too. An absolutely doting father, there’s certainly mischief abound later down the road.
Shakespeare is terrified he’s not going to be a good father. He can put on a brave face all he wants, but you know the man under the actor’s mask. With his history with you and everyone else in the mansion, he wonders what karma has blessed him with a child and without a doubt, come hell or high water, puts you and baby first. He’s initially nervous with the baby but, thanks to plenty of support from you and baby’s 11 uncles, he adjusts just fine. Your favorite is watching Will put them to bed with a bedtime story that he makes up on the spot and never the same story twice.
Leonardo’s cigarillo literally falls out of his mouth when you tell him you’re pregnant. Followed immediately by cursing in Italian before taking you up in his arms with his eyes shining “Cara mia, you’re serious, yes?” His voice is slightly strained and he nuzzles into your neck at the confirmation. He’s excited and he’s already tinkering with wood and paper making toys and puzzles and anything else you could imagine for your future child. He knows you like your independence in doing things but he’s more insistent than usual in helping you to do things. Once baby is here, Leonardo is most often found napping with baby on his chest and an arm around them protectively. Lumiùre basically became a big brother and seeing all three of them napping was one of the sweetest sights to see in the world. As baby grows, Leonardo slowly works on teaching them everything he knows along with plenty of play (Leonardo wouldn’t admit it but he loved the puppet shows he and every one of baby’s uncles put on with the shadow puppets he made.)
IkeSen:
Hideyoshi is mama bear. Like, to the extreme. You’ll need to remind him to calm down a lot but he’s so protective and loyal to your little (for now) family. He’s the ultimate giver of piggy back rides and learns how to braid hair for his little girl and teaches his sons about dismantling toxic masculinity.
Sasuke is nervous but he studies and studies and studies anything he can get his hands on when it comes to rearing children. He even goes to Kenshin, Shingen, and Yoshimoto for advice. You both thought about going back to the future for this but decided on staying 500 years in the past. Yukimura is named the fun uncle and the kids tease him all the time. Sasuke is ridiculously patient as a dad and you tell him you appreciate him whenever you can. From words to new foods to potty training, Sasuke is basically a saint. You’re only thankful you don’t have to teach them how to drive.
Masamune is ridiculously excited to hear news that you’re pregnant. He definitely flaunts it and is so happy to show you off and dote on you. He gladly makes you whatever crazy foods you want, even trying to recreate things from 500 years in the future for you. Once the baby is here he’s quiet with awe and you swear you saw a little watering at the corner of his eyes. To say he’s a devoted father is the understatement of the century. You just have to reign him in when he tries to do ridiculous things like having a small saddle commissioned for your baby to ride Shogetsu.
IkePri:
Chevalier knew before you did that you were pregnant, surprise surprise. What did surprise you, however, was how much more expressive he was in his protection over you as well as physically needing to be closer to you most of the time. Of course you didn’t complain, receiving a small “That’s ridiculous,” (definitely not Chev’s way of saying yes) conjoined with him nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck when you asked if he felt more protective now. He seemed to read your kind as always, even if he couldn’t be to your now shared room first he had servants draw you perfectly tempered baths and clothing that was easy for you to dress in. The amount of pressure you felt at the upcoming birth was initially astounding until a night Chevalier reminded you that this baby will be here as a result of your love for one another and not the pressures of politics. Once the baby is born you discover that Chevalier has another type of smile: one reserved solely for your baby. It is the softest smile you’ve ever seen him wear and it absolutely melts your heart. Of course his love for books must’ve been built in through DNA because they’re following along with bedtime stories line to line perfectly.
Sariel is shook. He’s calm on the outside, of course, but inside he’s honestly panicking a little. Most of his parenting experience had been with the twins and that situation had been
an intensely unique one. However, you discovered his feelings through a slip of the tongue and you held his face in your hands gently, assuring him he’d be a spectacular father and there was no one you’d rather have a family with. He felt assured and his demeanor had shifted just enough for people to notice, particularly the princes. Once it became known, Sariel’s usual dark aura intensified a hundredfold as he threatened all eight princes and Rio that if anything were to happen to you or your happiness, they would disappear. Once the baby came, everyone was astounded at how absolutely soft he could be, of course Licht and Nokto being the exception to that. To say your baby is treated like royalty is not hyperbole and it takes a rather firm foot from you to keep Sariel from spoiling them rotten.
Rio cried immediately when you told him, lightly sobbing his promise that they’re happy tears. During the pregnancy he’s almost overbearing, managing to tone it down just before you feel the need to tell him to. One restless night he tells you about a dream he once had, almost three months after you had saved him. It was filled with quiet nights like this, cuddling by the fire, laughing together. “That’s when I knew I wanted you forever. And a family with you.” You nearly broke his hand during delivery but Rio’s smile didn’t falter, staying strong to lend you his strength. The baby came and while Rio insisted that you took turns waking up for baby, you’re pretty sure he was the one to get up more in the middle of the night. The moment baby was in the world, he was wrapped around all their little fingers and toes. Sometimes Rio has a hard time with discipline, but it’s something he’s working on.

Prompt: A kiss that is leading to more, but is interrupted by a third party. Nobunaga Oda - Ikémen Sengoku [NSFW]
"Are you ready, Nobu?" Your question had been one of pure concern. You obviously wanted to make sure that your King was feeling secure, whether it was physically, mentally or even emotionally before heading to negotiations. No matter with who they may be, no matter who accompanied him, the probability of dire occurrences were fairly high considering the spite that many still harboured in their hearts towards the man you absolutely adored.
"What if I said that I wasn't, what would you do about it?" There he was, your Devil King with the devilishly handsome smile of his and it was crystal clear that he was up to no good. Having had enough, Nobunaga pushed away the heap of parchments, letting them scatter around the council room flooring, not that he could care about the mess he created. Those parchments were the ones you had helped him draft up, at Hideyoshi's request, to ease and mellow Nobunaga's usually reasonable argument that, unfortunately, could translate into haughty and domineering orders by the receiver.
"I'll ask what you want and see how can I help."
"Come and sit on my lap, my love." His crimson gaze was dark yet relaxed, the inviting smirk he gave you had your heart fluttering as his demand was none another than a wish, one that he desired to be fulfilled and would not take 'no' for an answer, fully aware that you wouldn't refuse him. His hands reached forward, his arms were wide open, his warm embrace would always be your sanctuary and your demise.
"Does this help?" Settling in his lap in a comfortable straddle, your arms placed unceremoniously on his shoulders as you feigned ignorance as to what his intentions may be. And honestly, you never knew what Nobunaga was ever up to so you had plenty reason to consider the different possibilities and courses of action your lover could take.
He grunted in approval but flashed you another grin. "But not nearly enough."
"Then what else can be done?" You pressed your forehead to his, offering him a small smile, your hands roaming over his nape, an area that always had your man purring in delight at the gentle sensation, feeling your fingers slowly crawl up and get lost in the softness of his hair.
"You know exactly what I want."
"And I want you to say it." You spoke sultrily against his lips, your fingers carding through his black locks, tousling his hair as you gently pulled at the strands so your lover would push his chin up, causing a ghostly brush of your lips against one another.
"You." He nipped your bottom lip, sucking on it tentatively before letting his tongue sweep over it, leaving a soft peck on your lips, the nature of his actions were the definition of absolute contrast, which always made your lover all the more enticing.
"What I want is you." Nobunaga growled, entrapping your lips in a cruel and breathless kiss, his lips rough and wanting against yours eliciting strangled whines from you as he greedily sucked on your tongue before pushing into your mouth, leaving you both entangled passionately. Not bothering with your obi sash, Nobunaga pushed the silken fabric of your kimono down your shoulders, allowing his calloused fingers to careen down the expanse of the bare skin of your back that he exposed, trailing it over the lines of your ribcage, goosebumps erupting across your skin and your body quivered deliciously in Nobunaga's hold and under his avid attention.
It couldn't be helped, your body moving on its own as your hips rutted against his, Nobunaga loosening up to allow you to force his back down to the floor, both of you tasting the effects of the friction that was bound to drive you to the brink of madness. Nobunaga's groans were deep, the rumbling of his chest was loud when you dug your nails into his nape, biting down on his lips as he began grinding up to meet your hips, his hands finally cupping your breasts.
"We can't be long, Nobu..." You panted, biting back at moan as his index and thumb came to pinch your nipples, his wet reddened lips stretching into a wide smile as he pushed himself off the floor, capturing your lips in another hungry kiss as he kneaded your breasts, the way you moaned so helplessly into his mouth made his lust burn even brighter from deep within. "We won't be long, dear." He murmured with certainty against your lips, giving you the chance to gasp for breath before he met you in another kiss, his rough hands meandering down your curves to grip your hips harshly, adamantly thrusting his length against your throbbing ache, the sweet pain of the friction making your moans and his rough grunts more prominent In the quiet of the Council Room.
The sliding door of the Council Room slammed opened, Hideyoshi bursting into the room in a hurry. "Lord Nobun-..." He stopped in his tracks, eyes widening when he realized what he had walked into, clearly not expecting it at all when both of you turned your heads to look breathlessly at the intruder in question. "My apologies, my Lord!" The man audibly panicked, walking in reverse with his eyes cast downwards and his hand covering his field of vision simultaneously. "We will-"
"Nonsense." Hideyoshi halted immediately as Nobunaga called out loudly, sitting himself up, his chin lazily perched on your shoulder while he adjusted your kimono with one hand, carefully covering your shoulders yet not fully so. "When has anything ever stopped you from speaking to me about work?" With his other hand placed upon your chest, Nobunaga drew his calloused fingertips between your breasts, revelling in the softness of your skin and then they began tracing over your stomach, fluttering tingles spreading over your skin, the slight tremble that coursed through you making you shift over the hard bulge nudging you between your legs.
Your Devil King chuckled lightly as he made you squeak by nipping the crook of your neck, the intimate display making his right-hand man flush in embarrassment, turning his gaze away from his Lord only to have Masamune peek his head inside the Council Room, adding yet another spectator to the lot.
"You know, Hideyoshi..." The one-eyed warlord clapped the blushing man on his back, his teasing tone making him turn redder with anger. "Our Lord will be in much better mood during negotiations if you let him finish what he started with his firecracker."
"Masamune speak the truth." Nobunaga responded nonchalantly, smirking shamelessly when you smacked his arm playfully, shaking your head in the process while you gave him a death stare. "I am an honest man, my love. If anything, honesty is one of my numbered virtues so-" His eyes looked up at the men that had interrupted in his conquering, gaze sharp and full of warning, his voice laced with the same emotion as he skimmed the shell of your ear with his lips, his calloused fingers finding their way back into your kimono. "What are you waiting for?"
Nobunaga was not an impatient man, but when it came to his personal conquests, he hated to be made waiting.

Hello!!
Ikemen segonku request!
his people demanding that he must have a concubine, since MC failed to get pregnant.
Thanks!
MC fails to get pregnant so the warlords are asked to take a concubine - ikesen headcanons (Masamune & Kenshin)
Masamune
Masamune’s eye turns an icy shade of blue, and if looks could kill, the man sitting before him would be left in worse conditions than any enemy he’s ever slain on the battlefield. Yet, he retains his composure, the most serious of looks on his face. The idea of taking another lover beside you disgusts him to no end, and if it wasn’t for the countless lessons of etiquette he had received throughout his childhood as the future head of the Date clan, he would’ve risked committing who knows what heinous act.
Sternly, he answers that no, he will not resort to such means to produce an heir. There’s always the chance that the problem may be him, after all. If the situation will not solve itself with your shared efforts, he will adopt a relative as his son and see that he receives the proper education as the future heir.
At the end of the day, when you two finally meet in your bedroom, Masamune will delicately approach the matter while also telling you all possible alternatives to the issue if you cannot get pregnant. He strokes your head gently, softening his tone while admitting that although it’s part of his duty as head of the clan, he also wishes to have a child with you out of love. Still, if this means giving you up, then he’s definitely not doing it anytime soon. Then, after making sure you’re doing okay, he would remind you that there’s still much time for you two to try it out, and well, you happen to have a lot of work to do ;)
Kenshin
The moment the words leave his retainer’s mouth, his hand is already on the tilt of his sword, and everyone in the room knows that if it wasn’t for Sasuke stopping his lord, they’d all be sitting in a puddle of blood. Kenshin is so disgusted and outraged by the suggestion that he immediately orders for the damned fool and everyone who shares his opinion to be thrown in the dungeons and be left there until the last day of their life. Even if they’re loyal and capable on the battlefield, Kenshin refuses to trust anyone who has anything negative to say about you. Before continuing on with the council, he commands that you are not to be informed about the ridiculous suggestion and that you stand beside him as a lover, not as a baby-making machine. If you two truly fail to produce an heir for the clan, he’ll adopt someone along the way. He is not to take another lover to his bed that is not you until the day he dies.
If you happen to hear about the matter from someone (maybe from the maids or something) and show any trace of concern on your features, Kenshin will immediately drop whatever he’s doing and take you to your shared chambers. There, he’ll take your hands in his and, with the softest of gazes, reassure you that you do not have to worry about such matters. Everything will solve itself without him taking another lover. If you happen to cry, Kenshin will feel his heart shatter to pieces, and as he holds you tight to his chest, whispering words of love in your ear, he silently promises to himself that anyone who tries to bring up this matter again, will have to face the fury of his sword.

Heyyy! Just to let you know ive been rlly invested in your ikesen series with your ocs. Just havent rlly finished any of them and ive quite stop reading at some point, since most of them weren't my favourite suitors.
Sorry.
But id love to hear more if you have any ideas or planning on writing more ikesen series like that but with other suitors? And can share about how you get inspiration about your storyline and your oc katsuko?
Thank you and keep it up!
Hi Anon!
Thank you for the love and for liking Katsuko (I'm a little sad for Shingen and Mitsunari... but Cybird has been rather light on giving us new content for them that will help us fall in love with them).
Ok... for your questions (later... oh boy, this got really long... sorry).
I am absolutely writing more in the series - it can take me a year to write each longfic. My goal was mid-late March for the next story, but ... I'm about 70% done with the first draft, so we'll see if I can manage that.
Before there was a series, it was just me playing the game, and suddenly realizing that I was thinking about it when I wasn't playing it, and the things that I was thinking about (daydreaming actually) were scenes that were not in the game, and not with MC. The people I was imagining in the scenes eventually became Katsuko (although she didn't have a name at that time) and Akihira. Eventually though, I felt like I needed to write them down, at which point I started thinking more in terms of "what is this, exactly?" And I wanted to write Katsuko with more than one character, and then I wondered if I could create an OC who, like the game MC, would fit as a love interest with every game character (spoiler alert - I #failed at that one), and also figure out a way that multiple versions of Katsuko could exist (which is how the multiverse part of it started).
At that point, there were ten routes already released in the game. The idea is that the final longfic in the series will be Sasuke & Katsuko traveling through all the existing timelines, trying to make ensure that they didn't collapse on each other. It's somewhat like the concept of Loki - that some timelines will start interfering with others. There was supposed to be a longfic with every available (at that time) suitor, plus I set it up to potentially also include Yoshimoto (if his route story made sense with the multiverse). The Shakespeare angle came up because it occurred to me that if Katsuko and Toshie were both isekai'd into Sengoku, and then separated, then it was sort of like the plot of "Twelfth Night." And then I decided to make things difficult on myself by having the individual longfics each be inspired by one of Shakespeare's plays.
This is what I originally thought I was going to write (in some order...):
Shingen, a route inspired by Twelfth Night. Shingen needed to go first because his canon issue allowed me to do a lot of world building and setting up rules for the multiverse.
Mitsunari, inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Hideyoshi, inspired by Julius Caeser.
Ieyasu, inspired by Much Ado About Nothing
Nobunaga, inspired by Hamlet.
Masamune, inspired by... [kind of drew a blank on this one, but I was considering Pericles]
Mitsuhide, inspired by The Taming of the Shrew
Yukimura, inspired by As You Like it
Kenshin, inspired by The Winter's Tale
Sasuke, inspired by The Tempest. He needs to be last to tie up the multiverse.
But what I thought I was going to write, intellectually, ran up against the wall of creativity (meaning, ok, I sort of had an idea, but those ideas didn't always work out for various reasons).
So this is what actually happened - plans? Ha! What plans?
Shingen - done
Mitsunari - done
Hideyoshi - as I started to envision it, I realized that some of the plot was repeating things that happened in Shingen's route, so I put that idea on the back burner until I can better figure out what will happen here.
Ieyasu - Actually had a couple of scenes in mind, and once I put Hideyoshi aside, I thought I would write him next, but I couldn't figure out an overall storyline, so I've temporarily skipped him.
Nobunaga - every time I start trying to envision it, I run into a wall of angst and tragic ending (he kills her ... because she's there to assassinate him). Temporarily skipped until I can figure out another approach that doesn't end in MCD.
Masamune - So... I basically have "screen tested" Masamune with Katsuko, and ... they have no chemistry. Total 'good friends' vibes, no conflict. I tried to work around that with a high conflict plot... but then...
Mitsuhide - Was supposed to be later, because I wanted to focus on some of the more neglected characters. He jumped in and demanded that I write his story. Enemies to lovers - in the previously written fics Katsuko and Mitsuhide have said that if they had to work closely with each other, they would be tempted to murder the other... so... let's see if that happens. Fic in process, hopefully out in Spring 2023.
Yukimura - I think this one may be after Mitsuhide. Probably. It's the one I can see the clearest in my head. Likely to be a buddy comedy with lots of adventure, if it develops the way it's started.
Kenshin - I have a solid idea for this one, but it's tangled up with what I had in mind for Sasuke's as well, almost to the point where I think I have to write it in two parts, with part 1 coming first, then ending on a cliffhanger, picking up in Sasuke's story ... or something.... this is one where the problem is less his story, and more how do I solve a plot twist where another multiverse Sasuke & Katsuko are needed to step in and help.
Sasuke - see above, but it's supposed to be the final story.
Other warlords: If a storyline occurs to me for them, I may add them. Some of them may actually fit better with a different OC, e.g., the character of Shohime/Sho may work better with some of them (Keiji, Masamune, Motonari - or even Hideyoshi), so there may be some spin-off short stories or novellas going that way instead of full fics with Katsuko.
All of that means that there will be more stories, but not the ten total as I originally wanted.
Ok... so for your question about character inspiration. Going all the way back to when I had the idea for the Tempest stories - there were things about Katsuko that I mostly knew - that she would have a self-deprecating inner dialogue, and that she would be more athletic and have had less of a stable upbringing than Mai, and, having been in the Sengoku longer (7 years), she would be less peace-loving, and more used to the war and death of the era.
Some of that was due to things I already wondered about Mai... how could Mai disappear into another era without her ending up as a "missing persons" cold case... we never see her go back to her family/friends and explain what happened. So to make that an easier issue with Katsuko, I decided that she would be kind of a loner, and that her only family is her brother (and he gets yanked into Sengoku era Japan with her).
When I started to write the prologue, she was actually really different. Instead of a rebellious athlete type, she was actually a party-girl/failed gymnast. I got about 5000 or so words into that version, and realized I didn't like her, she was too whiney, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of longfic writing about her. I trashed everything I had written, and started over.
Mostly, I knew what I wanted her to be able to do... and then worked backwards to figure out what basic skills she would have (athleticism, adventurousness) that would provide canvas for Aki to train her in the skills she would need to survive and thrive. I sent her back 7 years prior to the arrival of Mai/Honno-ji, in order to give her time to adjust, to pick up the skills she could use in the longfics. And then in the prologue, I put her through a near death experience, which left her with a bit more ruthlessness than before, and the claustrophobia.
But for some of the other aspects of her personal history, most of those I discovered when I was writing the first draft of "Twelve Lies..." The fact that she was a vegetarian (as much as possible), her mother's story, the flashbacks to her life in modern Japan, the fact that she once had a cat (named Tony Stark)... those organically appeared in that story - at which point, I went back to the prologue and made some edits, since I had a clearer vision of her.
The discoveries about Akihira didn't come to me until I was partway through the second draft of that story (which again... necessitated more rewrites - originally Aki was supposed to be native to Sengoku Japan... I didn't figure out that he was also a time traveler until later). So basically it took me two drafts to learn that the central relationship, the one that goes through all the fics, is the relationship of Katsuko and Aki, and that the overall theme of the all of the fics together is a father/daughter story.
So sometimes, when I discover something like that, it's an "oh of course, that's how it needs to be." And sometimes, like with Aki, it was an "of course, he has to be this," followed by my brain going, "ok, but how the hell are you going to make that work." I'm still trying to figure out some of the multiverse rules with Aki.
Inspiration is a combination of necessity, and discovery. My brain knew that in order for Katsuko to be good at what she does, she needed to have certain skills or be put into a position to learn them (hence the long prologue that covered 7 years). That was necessity. But other things I could only discover by just sitting down and writing and seeing what came out. I have to turn off my brain, and stop editing in that first draft.
There are quite a few times when I'll write a scene and about halfway through hit a dead end. I just circle that section (oh, I hand write my first draft, btw, as it makes it easier to allow play time and stop editing... I KNOW I'm going to fix it later, because it's going to have to get typed up) and write "cut??" and start again at the spot where it originally turned down a blind alley. This happened a lot more in Mitsunari's story than it did in Shingen's -- I probably have about 10,000 words of material that existed in the first draft that lead toward blind alleys, and scenes that went nowhere, that I had to back out of (a couple of them were perfectly good scenes by themselves... but they didn't work in the context of the story).
Sometimes if I get really stuck at where I am, I'll put it away for the night, and suddenly when I'm doing something else, I'll realize what needs to happen next. Sometimes it won't be until a later draft that I realize something is missing or necessary. There's a chapter in "Twelve Lies" that wasn't even in my third draft (Chapter 32, though I expect you might not have read that far). But as when I got to around Chapter 28 in the posting, it occurred to me that things that were to happen in Chapter 36 didn't feel as motivated as they could or should have... so I wrote an extra chapter (which in turn, made it necessary to rewrite parts of chapters 33-35).
And sometimes, it's the nature of episodic posting that gives me ideas... I had a couple of lovely, very active and responsive readers on Ao3 who were commenting and reacting to every chapter. Occasionally things they said gave ideas to edit and tweak chapters that were written but not yet uploaded. For example, in the first draft Yoshimoto didn't have nearly the amount of 'screen time' that he did in the final posted chapters. But every time in the early chapters that he appeared, the readers responded very positively to him... so I added him in a few scenes where it made sense that he would be around. He was kind like "The Fonz" ... a supporting character who became a featured character because of audience popularity.
As for the other OCs... I started with knowing I'd need Aki and Toshie... and then very early on, I added Iekane as the main villain. Cybird has the habit of redeeming their villains, and I didn't want to write the series thinking all along that someone like Motonari was the big bad, only to have Cybird "Joss" me. (That said, Motonari is one of the main antagonists of Mitsuhide's longfic... but I've been careful to make clear that he's redeemable).
Other OCs appeared as minor characters whenever I needed them... Susumu (who is a restaurant owner in one longfic, and a vassal in the other, for example), Hiko, Shohime, and Sute - most of them were supposed to only be in one scene, but they all stuck around. Shohime and Sute might get their own stories at some point (in fact I have a one-shot with Sute that is about 2/3rds done and I could see Shohime in a novella inspired by Jane Austen's "Emma"). And of course, the various versions of Hiko in each longfic play into the overall series mystery that all the Katsukos are working together to solve.
In terms of storyline inspiration... some of that is trying to figure out what parallels to whichever Shakespeare play I can then use to help organize the plot. The rest is picturing Katsuko and whichever LI is in the route and trying to imagine various scenes that happen in the story. It's in a sense sort of like looking up at the sky and trying to trace the path of a constellation... they start out as a cluster of stars, random, varied... but then if you imagine the lines from star to star, the constellation emerges. When in my head, I can see the map of that longfic... maybe not every point from the beginning to the end, but enough of them, then I know I can start writing the fic. After that, it's just figuring out how to get from the point I'm at to the next big point... and as I write, discovering what comes directly next. Eventually, all those "this comes next" scenes get me to one of these bigger scenes.
I don't know... this clearly turned into a much longer essay that I imagine you expect. But I hope somewhere in here I've managed to coherently answer your questions.
