Alfons and his “boredom”

Since his route hasn’t been released in English I can only speculate to my hearts content

My impression of Alfons comes from appearances he’s made in other character’s routes and story events. When I first met his character I honestly found myself asking the same question Elbert does here ^ and I wasn’t very fond of him. But then I looked more into his character and I came to the conclusion that most of the things he says and does has a decent intention behind it. At the very least he’s somewhat protecting Kate from getting stuffed like a doll by Elbert 😂 he’ll ask “is she beautiful?” And Alfons always says no, that she isn’t what he’s looking for. There’s also a few things he says that I feel reflect my own way of thinking as well. This is one example:

I also wonder if the ending that comes with his curse is to be forgotten by everyone 🤔 almost as if he never existed. He’s said a few things that make me believe this.

There’s definitely more to everything but I don’t want to say too much in case someone considered it a spoiler and hasn’t finished all the available routes 😂 I’m really looking forward to seeing in what direction the writers have gone with him. Also, since Elbert’s route is up for release I’m excited to see more of their dynamic.
