it had been a stormy day, meaning Pepa wasn’t in a good mood, the last few days had been thunder and rain besides of course Antonio’s gift ceremony. You had been cleaning up your family’s kitchen while they were out buying groceries when you heard a crack outside,

you peaked out the window when you saw the street split down the middle, creating thin crevices in the ground, you watch as a crack branched off from the main one, rapidly making its way to where you were standing. your eyes widen as you felt your house get unstable, you had tried to get out the door but debri had fallen in front of you, blocking the way, you stumbled back as the wall to your left crumbled at your feet, you ran deeper into your house trying to get away from the collapsing walls, you ran into your room and crouched down to the ground, holding your hands above your head and you felt the falls cave in, debri hit all around you scraping your hands and tearing your dress a bit. you heard some last rocks falling and you open your eyes, cautiously uncovering your head, you see you were surrounded by debris and broken pieces of concrete, you had scrapes all along your arms and legs and you could lift your head much because of the concrete above you, you were scared to scream in case of concrete crushing you, you were trapped. they would think you got away, not bothering to look in the pile of rubble for you. you felt your breathing get heavier but you couldn’t hear it, all you could hear was a high pitched ringing, your eyes fogged with tears. all you could hear was that goddamn ringing!

“amor?!” until you heard someone, your novio. he was looking for you, your love called your name many times, but you couldn’t answer them, you could hear debris moving as him and another made their way to you. the crack of light you could see was widened as you saw Luisa’s struggling face slowly lifting the concrete that was above you, Camilo then moved the one in front of you, almost creating an exit for you as he grabbed your forearms and pulled you out, Luisa dropped the concrete after you were far enough away from it. you looked back at her regaining her breath from lifting the heavy piece as your face was pulled to face the front and you felt kisses covering your cheeks and face,

“ay, i thought you were dead, amor! don’t scare me like that” he said when they finished covering your face, after he was done he pulled you close and hugged you, you hugged them back, stuffing your face into their shoulder as you let some tears finish flowing. Camilo felt his shirt get damp and lifted your head up, wiping your tears,

“ay, amor, it’s okay, you’re safe now” he held your face as you nodded. you were okay now.

- romulus vs remus just makes me think of dio vs jonathan. two brothers raised by the same parent and yet one still kills the other in the end in order to achieve what he believes will be greatness   - jonathan is a martyrrr his death is exactly like jesus’ in the sense that he could be angry in his final moments but he isn't, and he instead forgives the very thing that’s making him die (jesus with humanity and jonathan with dio) - feel like dio has some judas stuff going on. in his attempt to be happy he betrays and hurts the jesus figures (jonathan and jotaro) in his life but all this does make him even more unsatisfied and results in his death - also jonathan as achilles, doomed to be great but die young, and zepelli as chiron, his wise and older teacher. yeah  - caesar “italian catholic guilt” zeppeli is crushed by a cross that is literally how he dies. </3. there’s a lot u can draw from this to add to caesar’s character arc but the symbolism by itself is just sad. caesar died bc of his own devotion - odysseus and jotaro relate in the sense that both are on such long and perilous journies.......jotaro obv with part 3 but this continues cause he’s never home really which is why his life with his wife and daughter falls apart 🙃 so. - the jotaro and perseus parallels drive me nuts. kill a devil to save his mom. fuck - jotaro and jolyne both have heavy jesus allusion. the conflicts they both face are not the result of their own actions, but the result of their forefathers’ and yet they are sent to clean up the mess. this is the same as jesus being sent as god’s son to cleanse humanity. like jesus, they both had to sacrifice their lives for this cause, just in different ways (jotaro has to devote the rest of his life while jolyne has to end hers early) - polnareff and his stairs scenes with dio and diavolo,,just the set up of the scenes r rlly blatant in their symbolism cause he’s walking UP the stairs when facing dio (god) while he’s looking DOWN the stairs when facing diavolo (the devil). also this can be added to an interesting implication for polnareff’s character cause he never makes it to dio/god and heaven, but diavolo/the devil and hell make it up to him.........just thinking - something something lazarus and avdol something something lazarus and okuyasu something something - kira gives me narcissus vibes cause like his downfall is directly related to his overconfidence in himself which is similar to narcissus - giorno also has jesus vibes cause he’s LITERALLY the son of DIO (GOD!!). and he creates LIFE. it’s literally HIS STAND POWER THAT’S MIRACLE SHIT RIGHT THERE AND THAT IS THE SAME! AS JESUS. - hephaestus being discarded by his parents but still rising up to be one of the 12 most powerful gods gives me big giorno vibes - something something something apollo and hyacinth and abbacchio and bruno - OBVIOUSLY johnny’s whole arc like r u serious? but i think johnny’s more like the lost son than jesus ironically, cause johnny’s whole arc starts with losing himself and who he self-worth and what he values, and then it hones in on his path to rekindling his identity, which is most in line with the lost son parable than anything else. the “loving father” in this case though is not johnny’s actual father but gyro/a crumb of self-esteem JDN;ED[HEO;JD-= - hot “western european catholic guilt” pants being a nun and feeling eternal regret over sacrificing her brother also has saint peter vibes cause saint peter did betray jesus once but he felt so bad abt it and spends the rest of his life devoted to making it right which hot pants does for her brother - the rokakakas in part 8 are just the miracle figs jesus made with a twist that’s literally it im. that’s it <3 - it’s not symbolism exactly but there’s a lot of greek/roman imagery esp in parts 2 and 5 and i think that’s worth noting. ik the majority/all the part takes place in Italy so..duh but it’s!! it’s fitting. jojo draws a lot of its style from roman/greek influences

im sure there’s some shinto symbolism but unfortunately idk enough about shintoism to make the connections 😔 but this is what’s at the top of my head HHH thank u so much once again for asking bro

[allegedly.] i hate jon as a protagonist bc i find him DREADFUL n martin has been nothing but another name to me [tho he does have his moments. hes a very funny character.] BUT GEORGIE IS RIGHT. THERE. MELANIE IS RIGHT. THERE. its not the format ik to switch up narrators unless its a statement but I WANNA KNOW WHAT THE APOCALYPSE THAT FEEDS OFF OF FEAR N THAT GATHERS INFORMATION THRU HUMAN EYES is like with two characters WHO R FEARLESS N BLIND . I CANT B THE ONLY ONE RIGHT ??

4. melanies blindness btw ?? huge. huge. this is the same point. u have a disabled character who hasnt given a single fuck since she was first introduced n u sideline her ?? the only canonically disabled character for miles n jon doesnt know where she is ?? an all seeing being doesnt know whats going on with a real live living breathing human person ?? tell me that isnt a cop out rn istg

5. i dont go to new episodes wanting to know how all of this ties up, im sitting there wishing smth cool would happen. when jon first smited the not!them THAT WAS AMAZING. RADICAL. THE ONLY EXCITING THING THAT HAD HAPPENED SO FAR. n then everything turned boring again. martins lonely episode ?? boring. meeting basira ??? brOTP LITERALLY ATHENA AND SIMON BROTP LIVES IN MY BRAIN AT ALL TIMES LIKE theres so much healing that they both have to do from the 7/8 years since the incident and focusing on literally just that one incident and how to fix it (or in his case how to just like. live with it in a lot of ways) and they do some of it together but some of it they very much do NOT do together and i think like the setting boundaries that they do is just. its good. also i love the idea that he lived with her for a while after he was released like. just from a general perspective i love them sort of being a patchwork family but also just imagine being 18 and living on your own then suddenly you invite your 33 year old uncle to live with you who’s been in prison for the past 8 years. he doesnt rlly know how the world works from a cultural perspective and you dont know what its like from a “how do i use a can opener” perspective. together you’re a functioning adult.

OTP honestly i see him as very gay man in his 30s bachelor just living his post prison life and figuring stuff out but i’d be lying to myself if i said i didn’t read nahyuta/simon fics that shit is cute as FUCK and also ppl do a really good job of writing them like??? its about the understanding whats its like to go through an incredibly fucked up situation and not feeling the need to EXPLAIN yourself but to just understand that its beyond your control sometimes and gently helping them through without being making it about you because YOU wouldnt want that and. yeah.

nOTP if you ship simon with the phantom i’m knives out IMMEDIATELY i understand the want for angst but it makes me uncomfy and man has already been through enough please. also You Know What Else. i will not say it but it should be self explanatory.

random headcanon him and aura were REALLY close pre UR-1 incident. like i think they had a lot of issues but i think its just because they probably had to raise themselves in a lot of ways and pretty much really only looked out for each other for awhile. i like to think that he visited the space center a lot bc he was visiting her and thats how he got to meet metis and he was like huh maybe i could use this physcological stuff in court hmm and like thats how he became her student but i ALSO think that aura is just. SO mad at him for what he did about UR-1 and how he handled it because now SHE has to be alone and its not fair to him and she knows its not but she can’t help herself. Not just that but Simon hates seeing her lose it a little every time she visits him (which is often, he doesn’t get many visitors and even if he did he’d ALWAYS take her visits bc he misses her even if they don’t see eye to eye they’re all they’ve GOT) and just. seeing her become more cold and somehow thinking maybe its his fault and her not knowing if she does think its his in some ways but them still loving each other even if they have funny ways of showing it just UGH!!!
