She was as close as she has ever been in the time they've known each other, perched in the Prescott heir's lap and looking down on him like he's God's greatest gift in the theater department, more specifically in the dressing room. It's where I hide out when I don't want to be bothered, she told him, and it was, and the best part was the fact that Mr. K trusted her enough to allow her to linger in there, even when he had to step out for whatever reason.

Giggling behind pursed lips, which curl at the corners, resulting in a smile which bordered on shy, prompted by Nathan's suggestion. She shook her head, fondness pouring into eyes which she brought to meet the boy's.  “Yeah?”  She questioned, heart thrumming and butterflies erupting in her stomach all at once, rendering her breathless and speechless for a moment.

Digits then followed the neckline of Nathan's shirt, only to delicately curl into the fabric whilst the blonde leant in, more and more until their lips brushed together, breaths mingling.  “Would you run away with me?”  She questioned in a whisper and with a head tilt, because that was the real make or break of any relationship with her.

"what can i say? i got a pretty intense mean streak." he countered, playful with her. he knew that when she called him cruel it was all in good fun and not an actual insult thrown at him. "maybe but i also have an eye for pretty experience pieces so i think it's a solid observation."

She brings her eye to latch onto his, only as soon as eye contact was made, the lightheartedness of their interaction dissolves, and leaves Rachel no choice but to realize the threatening energy radiating off of the older male. She swallows thickly, unsettled, but even so confidence overlays her face and she holds her head high.

A year ago she might have would have grasped the olive branch extended to her, now however, hesitation encased her wrists and kept them first at her sides.
