Files the Defense Department Staff Reviewed for Alleged DEI De-emphasis

Efforts to validate these files are hampered because marines.mil has denied access to their files in the Wayback Machine. This should be illegal. The files belong to the public: if they do not wish to feature them on their defense department sites, that is certainly their prerogative. In America, we have free speech rights, whereby we can write about or otherwise publish and document historic facts.

Though such an infringement is possibly also illegal, given that the "authorizing" Executive Order is likely unconstitutional - DEI exists on the foundation of civil rights, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission exists for the very purpose of ensuring that no discrimination in hiring exists - whether they want to believe in alleged "reverse discrimination" or not.

As time permits, will see if I can work through the list from AP's database... next to tackle is page 4 of 2,649.

The latest update from AP is that USMC, alone, had identified 10,000 items, but "only" removed 3,600 (36%). The trouble is, the public needs a way to access these files from an archive, as they are public domain, and even though allegedly not aligned with the president's priorities, they nevertheless represent American history during those periods when DEI was active and when the celebration of heritage or women's history months were recorded.

Marking the next section to work on from the readout of the AP database.

How about we flex some truth today? The reality of social media posts... . Everyone wants to present themselves looking their best, especially where social media is concerned. Keep that in mind when looking at posts people make. Many people do not look as good, all the time, as they do in the images that they post. . I am no exception to this and here is an example. This is how I usually get photos for posting "flex" pics. When I was super new to posting, I would set a timer and simply retake images until I got one that I liked. Then I learned that I could record a video and then grab a frame from that to use as a photo (which is MUCH easier, btw). Throw a little IG Lux on it and bam! Done. I got the images in this post this way, using the video in the last slide. . Many people, however, go WAAAAY beyond this and use editing apps to literally completely reshape their body, face, etc. The Kardashians are a prime example. Do an image search in Google for "Instagram vs reality" and you will see what I mean. It's shocking how much people can (and will) TOTALLY change how they look. . Please, please, PLEASE keep this in mind when browsing IG. Don't let other peoples' exaggerations rob you of the pride you should feel from your own REAL progress. ✌🏻. . Have a great weekend!
