can i just start with this would actually be one of the cutest pairings for him?

let me start off with saying that he is absolutely going to be your number one fan. he's going to be so proud of your achievements as an idol. his schedule as a hero would make it difficult but he'd do his best to attend events and concerts, anything he could squeeze through. he'd be offering quite a good amount of public praise, making sure you knew he supported you along every step of the way. at no point would he be embarrassed or ashamed - he's doing everything he can not to be in the air with his lightstick, let's be real.

there is one thing he may have trouble navigating and helping you to navigate: balance. keigo is used to an overly busy life but the moment he sees your schedule, he's realizing it's never actually been that bad. he's immediately going to be asking if you're even taking care of yourself - if you know anything about kpop idol lifestyles, you'll know the concern is very much warranted - but he's going to be worried. however, he would respect it and your choice to pursue such a lifestyle, doing his best to help with making sure you're okay, helping with the pressures of fame and whatnot. his biggest concern, outside of your health, is going to be the privacy of your relationship. with both of you being so well known, the last thing he wants is your personal life to be put on a chopping block and make things even more difficult.

keigo often makes the comments of 'if i can' or 'possibly' when you ask if he'll be at an event but he does his best to show up and surprise you. even if he can't stay, he's there long enough to bring flowers or a small gift, reminding you that even if he's not there, he's still cheering you on. amidst busy schedules, he would do his best - even if it just meant sending a feather your way.

if anything, keigo is considerably patient. he can't exactly get mad at your busy schedule when his own isn't all that empty. you would both have to work with accommodations. and he'd totally have some silly, flirty comment about sneaking around. you'd have a moderate amount of quality time together, even if it meant him dragging you out of a window in the early hours. willingly, ofc.

he would be very, very protective when it comes to your privacy and personal space. fame attracts unwanted attention and he knows that; he doesn't want you to face something because of it. and, if i'm honest, i don't think many people would be too stupid to mess with you - the last thing they'd want to face is him being pissed off. he would definitely use his influence to aid in the overwhelming media and fans that don't know boundaries.

❥ spiderman kisses: not exactly the same but it's something he does when he's in a hurry and you're not supposed to be out. the first time he did it, he almost hit his head on the balcony railing. he honestly didn't expect kissing someone upside down to be so challenging.

❥ voicemails: god, you both have so many voicemails saved from each other. you've sent plenty to him of song snippets and sitting in the corner of the recording studio. he generally sends little rambles while flying, telling about his day and random things he's thought of. plus, always asking how you are, checking in on you.

❥ feathers: it's a cliche in writing for hawks but, i can't deny it's fitting. he's going to have a feather on you when you're within range for it to matter. it's how he makes sure you're doing okay.

❥ little notes: hawks likes to leave little notes for you when you part. hidden within your bag, between your clothes, etc. he generally knows your schedule but his own can be unpredictable. so, when you'll be away for a little while, he likes to leave you things you can read and have with you.

❥ keepsake boxes: about a year into being together, while out on a little break, you came across a section of little wooden boxes at a shop. it was a date night that you both sat and decorated them together, keeping all the notes, trinkets, stubs, etc in.

✧*̥˚ small scenario *̥˚✧

keigo landed at the venues back entrance the moment the door opened, his wings fluttering a bit when his feet touched the ground. the moment you popped out and smiled brightly, he couldn't help but pull you into his arms, squeezing softly before you could even speak.

'hey, pretty bird,' you greeted, voice full of excitement.

'hey, superstar.' keigo cooed, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. 'ready for a much needed break from the spotlight?'

all it took was a nod for him to scoop you up into his and lift up into the night sky. you were used to it, just holding onto him and closing your eyes, letting your mind rest from the rush of performing, just wanting to be normal for a while.

the flight didn't last too long and soon enough, you were carefully being set down on a secluded rooftop. out of habit, you left his side to approach the edge, looking over the city with bright eyes, sparkling even more in the moonlight.

taking a deep breath, you stretched your arms up. 'this is so amazing, it's so pretty up here,' you sighed, turning on your heel to look towards him. 'you know.. does it make me sound bad to say i like that i can gloat about private stargazing sessions with the number two hero?'

keigo let out a soft laugh as he spread out the plush blanket, shrugging. 'would it make me sound bad to say the same thing about you?' he asked, gesturing you over. 'thought it'd be a nice change from the usual post show routines. less people.'

as both of you settled on the blanket, lying side by side, you enjoyed the distant, dulled hum of the city. it was a nice change from being crammed into a van or just going home to rest, both of you needed something nice every now and then.

the blond spoke first, head turning to look at you. 'how was the show? anything memorable happen?'

you shrugged, not taking your gaze away from the stars. 'just the usual. overzealous fans wanting attention, the offhanded comment during the meet.. i'm pretty sure one of them is convinced we're going to get married? which, i can't complain.. i used to sit and think that about heroes and idols and stuff when i'm was younger but still.'

laughing, his eyes lit up with amusement. 'sounds like you're handling fame pretty well. i've dealt with my fair share of -- is it wrong to call fans 'crazies'? mine just usually come with the whole 'save me from the villain' request when there's.. no real villain.'

'nah, i don't consider the ones who act like that real fans.. i think real fans respect boundaries, don't you think?' you responded, a hand raising up to reach for the sky, fingers wiggling. 'i'm sure dealing with supervillains is a lot more fun than dealing with autograph requests. i wouldn't trade you though, i enjoy what i do.'

'fair, yeah.' keigo sighed, reaching up to collect your hand. 'we both have our ways of brightening people's days. even if it means dealing with a couple of weirdos.'

silence fell over the rooftop for a moment, enjoying each other's company under the beauty of the night sky.

'i was thinking,' he began, gingerly playing with your fingers, 'we should do this more often. escape the chaos, find quiet moments like this.'

finally, you turned your head to look at him, leaning close enough to bump your noses together. 'that would be nice.. sounds like a dream to relax and spend time together without a million eyes on us.'

'so, what do you say? more rooftop dates?'

you smiled, squeezing his hand. 'as long as you keep flying us up to spots like this, i'm one hundred percent in.'

with that, you closed your eyes and he looked back towards the sky, just enjoying the time before you were putting on the news as missing and he was unavailable. the conversation drifted around from playful jokes and confessions, little flirty comments and sweet thoughts. it didn't last forever but anything was better than nothing.

🏷A/N:: at first this idea seemed kinda cringe but now that I'm writing it I'm like, omg...also the next (estimated) 2 parts won't be as long (hopefully) because I had to introduce you to the world of this fanfic 😭

Your father is a worldwide famous actor that is constantly working. He may as well be royalty based on the way he's treated at work. Meanwhile your mother is a kpop artist that is still producing as a soloist. The three of you lived in basically a mansion of a house. All your life you've been harassed by cameras and interviewers, you willingly go to interviews but getting harassed at airports? Not so much. You understand the fact that at interviews all they're going to be asking you about is your parents but it always seems to be that as soon as anyone hears about your parents being well your parents they flip.

Comments such as "really you look nothing like them!" Or "gosh you must be so young!" Get hurtful and repetitive. 

But nothing is worse than getting bothered at your own house. You'll be eating dinner when there's people peeking through the windows or recording you getting changed at night. Your parents became aware of these creeps and stalkers and gave you, what they call, an assistant. His name? Lee Yongbok is his Korean name but he prefers being called Felix when not in business. He's very kind and generous but his speech seems to be limited when it comes to you and he's very stern and serious.

You can't help but feel bad for him. He has just as busy a schedule that you do and sometimes he does chores for you. He stays cool and calm and says it's nothing but is it really? He gets tired and often gets headaches. You offer him medicine but he refuses and uses his hands to massage his head instead. Felix often spends late nights with you and babysits you when your parents are out to simply enjoy themselves or do something for work.

Since you are now 18 years of age you've been thinking. What am I going to do with life? 

Ever since you were only a kid people asked you what your plans for your future are but they always give you two options. As an example an interviewer would ask "what are your plans for the future? Do you want to follow your mother's footsteps or your fathers?" You always try to explain in a kind way that both sound like promising futures but it might not be for you. Then they'll ask "Oh what else do you have in mind then?" 

Your honest answer? I don't know. But you have to give fans and TV more of an answer than that. You always bullshit it and come up with some random career and go with that. 

People also often ask about your school life, but ever since about 4th grade you've been home schooled. By a professional of course. Your parents wouldn't want anything less. Your teacher's name was Namjoon. He was very witty and knowledgeable about anything and everything. He was quick and knew lots about other countries, he's explored a vast amount of countries and often tells you about them. Felix isn't often around when Namjoon is but you just know that Felix would love him! Felix was born in Australia and Namjoon has been there on multiple occasions so they'd get along well. 

As of right now it's mid may, close to June and you are so done with schooling. Only about two months left and you're done. For a while. But there's also traveling, interviews for jobs and TV, hotel rooms, stalkers, busy cities, waiting around the hotel while your parents film or talk business with their staff. Felix usually doesn't come with you on these trips so it gets extra boring real quick. You're in all these different places around the world but you don't get even 5 seconds to enjoy it before getting dragged to a hotel or filming set. 

Today you woke up kind of late, around 10 am, and you instantly grabbed your phone to wake yourself up. You scrolled through some YouTube shorts when you saw a thumbnail for a short video. It mentioned your mother so you kept on reading the title and it said "M/N L/N caught cheating on husband! (She's been married to D/N for 13 years!!!)"

You rolled your eyes "it's been 14 years actually." you thought to yourself. You turned off your phone and hauled yourself out of bed and slipped on your shark slippers. You stretched and headed for the bathroom just down the hall from your room. When you opened your door you heard some cooking sounds from the kitchen downstairs and a delicious smell of bacon and eggs. Smells like moms cooking. 

You used the washroom and as you were washing your hands you looked up into the mirror to see your awful bed head. Right…you went to bed with wet hair last night. You dried off your hands and when you opened the door you heard your mother call your name. You went over to the indoor balcony in your house and looked down to see your mother "Yes?" You called out. 

"C'mere I have something important to tell you," you looked shocked and went down the nearby staircase. You rubbed your eyes as you went over to your mother in her pink house coat and cat slippers. "There's a slight change in plans. We're leaving for Australia today!" She said with a bright smile as she flipped an egg. You smiled with her.

"When do we leave!" You said basically jumping.

"1 pm!" She grinned as your jaw dropped.

"That's in four hours!" You freaked as your mom nodded. 

"I already made you an Australian breakfast," she smiled as she handed you a plate. You thanked her and gave her a kiss on the cheek before running to your room. You had nearly nothing packed! You were supposed to leave in roughly four days so you had like one outfit planned. It had a beret, long sleeve white dress, burnt pranced sweater and some basic sneakers.

Other than that you had nothing! You ate your breakfast really fast and got all the necessities. Hair brush, tooth brush, hair clips, make-up, skincare, pads, extra change of under garments, meds, bandaids everything! Time for clothes and hair accessories. You checked the time and only an hour had passed but your phone was at 18%! 

Ugh could anything else go wrong today?! 

You plugged in your phone and started putting outfits together. You finished all the clothing in about 30 minutes, not too bad considering. You then got in the shower and did your 50 step routine. At the end you relaxed a bit in the warm water but only 2 minutes into relaxation the water got cold. That doesn't happen too often but everyone's probably showering right now. You dried off and did some simple skin care before you ran into your mother in the hallway. 

"Whoa dear, relax." She giggled before taking a deep breath, she influenced you to do the same and you copied her. After a few deep breaths your mother oh'd. "I forgot to tell you," she said after hugging you. You looked at her with a confused and curious look. "Mr. Yongbok is coming with us!" She clapped and your face lit up. 

"Oh! He's gonna love that!" You said happily when your mother got a notification on her watch. She whipped out her wrist to check what it said and you quickly looked at the time on her watch. "12:13!? Damn I'm doing pretty good on time," you smirked before saying bye to your mother and going back to your room to keep packing. You packed some things that you might not need as much as you played some upbeat music. Bathing suit, housecoat, slippers, fidget toys, you know all the things that are kinda unnecessary to have a good time. You then dried your hair, styled it and did some simple but cute makeup. Then it hit you.  

"I don't have an outfit to wear today!" 

You put together a comfy yet cute outfit and finally got to sit down and relax on your phone but time goes by fast. Soon it was time to start heading for the airport. 

You and your family brought everything out to your big black car. One of your mother's staff was going to be driving you all there and helping with luggage. 

When you arrived at the airport you managed to spot Yongbok in the crowd. His long sandy hair covered his eyes as he looked down at his phone. You went over to him and he looked up before a squishy smile appeared on his face. You two chatted while sitting on a bench in a private section. The adults all discussed important matters while you and Felix talked about a video game you were playing on your phone.

"So they're all cookies…?" He questioned as he leaned in to see your phone screen.

"Yup!" You nodded as the cookies on your phone battled. 

"And they fight for their kingdom that you are in charge of?" He tilted his head as he looked at your focused eyes. You nodded again while humming. Your plane was then called to board, you and Felix got all of your things together and got on the plan. You were in first class today and this was Felix's first time up here. He embarrassingly asked a lot of questions during the whole flight. You thought it was cute but he found it embarrassing.

"Oh I've never asked you before," you started, catching Felix's attention. "How old are you?"

"Oh I'm twenty," he chuckled before putting a black mask on. 

"Really!?" You said with pure shock. "You look so much younger…" you looked at him intensely.

"How old did you think I was!?" He laughed "I am technically your security guard. I wouldn't really be in this position if I wasn't at least 18." He made a good point. But still he looked so young and handsome. You laid back in your comfy seat and closed your eyes with a sigh. "Tired?" Felix whispered in that deep, steady voice of his. He was so close to your ear and it made the butterflies in your stomach go wild. 

"Mhm" you nodded before relaxing your face again. Felix let you rest on the way to Australia.

You woke up to Felix calling your name and gently shaking your arm. You woke up confused as fuck. "What? What?" You groaned as you looked around the plane.

"We're almost there, I just wanted to make sure you were awake enough when we got there," he said before handing you some water. You drank it, the cold liquid going down your dry throat. Your lips popped off the lid and you took a breath. You nodded and handed it to Felix. He took it and set it away again.

"Are you excited to be back home?" You smiled at him.

"Of course." You saw his eyes smile just above his mask. "Are you?" He said as his fluffy hair turned your way. 

"I love Australia. I think it's a beautiful place, other than the spiders," you said, making Felix chuckle. "But I hardly ever get to go out and see these places we visit." You said sadly.

"Oh? Why?" Felix seemed to misunderstand this entire trip. Maybe he thought he was going to be able to see the old parks he went to and old restaurants he went to. Hopefully he isn't too upset.

"Well…" you gestured for him to lean closer to you. "My parents don't usually let me go out. They usually leave me in the hotel while they're out and about." You whispered in his ear so your parents wouldn't hear you talking bad about their treatment towards you. Felix looked surprised and disappointed. 

"Hopefully we can go out and just hang about!" He smiled with his eyes again. You nodded before going back to looking out the window. 

"Oh we're almost there!" You said pointing your finger at the window. 

After you all landed on the safe Australian land Felix took a deep breath and took in the landscape. 

"You and your parents know English right?" Felix mumbled as he leaned over to you.

"Um the basics?" You shrugged. Felix face palmed and went to go talk to your parents, leaving your side empty. They talked a lot and worked out a plan and after an s-class car ride to your 5 star hotel you finally got to feel the comfort of a soft squishy bed. But before that…

"I think we should divide the rooms by two. You and Felix go in one and me and D/N will go in the other," your mom smiled and everyone agreed. You arrived on the 5th floor and found your room. Felix opened it and let you in first. You jumped on the bed and soaked in the soft sheets. You let out a deep sigh.

"So comfy~" you said as you cuddled up in the blankets. When Felix walked in with both of your bags he scanned the room. His eyes landed upon this little bench by the window. There was something weird about it, he bent down to look at it. He pulled off one of the cushions and found a camera. He kicked it extremely hard, shattering it and shooting the pieces all across the room. You instantly sat up and looked at the mess he had made. He started picking up the pieces of glass and plastic. You got off the bed to help him. 

"Careful." He said standing up and putting a hand in front of you. "There's glass." He said before bending back down to clean it up. 

"I'm literally wearing shoes," you laughed.

"Still don't wanna risk my princess getting hurt," 

You blushed at what he just called you. Not only princess but HIS princess. Your heart fluttered as you sat on the bed, cheeks hot. "S-sorry." He blushed as he swept up the glass with a little hand broom from the bathroom. "I used to call my little sister that and you remind me of her so it kinda slipped out…" he explained.

"Don't worry I liked it," you said with a wave of your hands. An awkward silence fell upon the room. Thankfully a knock on the door broke the silence. Felix immediately shot up and headed for the door. "I'll get it." You said putting your hand up to his chest to stop him in his tracks.

"What if it's a creep?"

"Felix. It's fine."

"There was already a camera in here."

You rolled your eyes and opened the door. It was just a staff member bringing your extra luggage. You thanked him with a bow and started taking out some of your luggage. Meanwhile Felix checked all the mirrors for cameras and made sure everything was safe. 

Your parents then messaged you saying they were going to a meeting and you were free to roam around with Felix. Your face lit up. 

"Felix, Felix, Felix!" You said jumping up off the bed and over to him, your phone in hand. He turned to you. "My mom said we can go roam around as long as we stay near the hotel!" You basically jumped with excitement and Felix's face lit up as well. "But I'm kind of tired…" you said with disappointment.

"It's okay," Felix said as he put his strong, boney hands on your bare shoulders. "There's an ice cream shop just down the street from here. It's really good and the staff are always very friendly. After that we can come back here and relax until you want to sleep." 

You nodded and started getting ready. "Also your mother deposited $400 to your account." He said after he checked his phone while you brushed your hair and put cute clips in it. 

"Okay tell her I said thank you please," you said as you topped up your makeup. With that Felix started typing on his phone while still standing in the same spot as 5 minutes ago. You grabbed a purse out of your suitcase and pulled Felix out the door with you. You grabbed onto his arm with both of your arms. He guided you to the ice cream stand and you both had a wonderful time eating your ice cream. Felix got a reeses pieces flavor and you got (flavor of choice) as you walked down the street in the dim lights finishing off your ice cream you looked at Felix. His cute freckles scattered across his face, his wavy hair so effortlessly perfect, his eyes big and pure, full of wonder, his puffy lips shaped like that of a chick, his eyebrows dark and sharp, his jawline handsome and fair. As you were admiring his every feature he looked down at you and your eyes instantly shot away. His little beak lips formed a smile before going back to his ice cream. 

When you arrived at the hotel to sleep for the night you realized, there's only one bed! 

Felix had previously set his things on the cushioned bench by the window so he started heading for that. He was adjusting the pillows when you stopped. 

"Sleep on the bed tonight, it's okay!" You said putting your hand on his back. 

"No, no, you take the bed."

"No, I insist you use it tonight."

"No, I insist." You bickered back and forth.

"How about we both just use the bed?" You said crossing your arms as you awaited his response. 

"As long as you don't mind sharing." He said as he dragged his things over to the nightstand. You went to the washroom and changed your clothes while you were in there. Meanwhile, without you knowing, Felix was also getting changed. You stepped out of the bathroom in your cute short pajamas to find Felix shirtless with his fly undone, a shirt in between his arms being prepared to be put on. You gawked at the sight before you caught his eyes on you. 

"S-sorry!" You jumped and turned around, covering your eyes. Felix just laughed.

"Sorry, I'm used to having just guys around…" he said as he continued to change without your eyes staring him down. 

"That's understandable, I almost did the same!" You said as you rolled on your heels. The sound of his belt and pants hitting the floor making your cheeks heat up.

"Perhaps it's because, I feel comfortable around you…" he muttered as he put on some shorts. 

"I feel the same." You smiled "I'm glad you feel comfortable with me and I hope you keep these feelings!" You said before turning around to see him heading for the left side of the bed. Felix smiled and you two started chatting about your experiences with each other. First impressions, embarrassing moments, close calls etc. 

Eventually you got tired and turned out the lights. Hours later you still lay awake looking out the window at all the city lights lighting up the midnight sky. 

"Can't sleep?" Felix asked in a deep voice.

"Nope." You sighed. "You should focus on sleeping instead of me,"

"But it's my job," Felix chuckled. 

"That power kick you did earlier was dope." You giggled to yourself.

"Haha, just doing my job!" He laughed. 

"Still, every time you do that I get more and more impressed." You smiled as you rolled over to look at him, his eyes already on you. 

"Do you know what the plan for tomorrow is?" He asked with pink dusting over his cheeks.

"Nope." You said with a light roll of your eyes.

"Either way we should get some sleep. Goodnight, princess," he said as he rolled back over to face the wall. Your cheeks were hot and the butterflies in your tummy were going insane at his choice of words.

Anyway, for any newbies here, I'm just going to leave a disclaimer that I am NOT a jikoooker. I am actually a legitimate Taehyung fan but I'm not like one of those super devoted, my idol can't do no wrong fans. No, I'm a cool fan.

That's why it BREAKS. MY. HEART 💔 to have to draw your alls attention to something absolutely shocking that I witnessed while finally catching up with the travel diary/honeycation that manifested between JK and his 'friend' JM (😜)

I know I'm late to the show but as you'll all vividly recall from about 8 months to a year ago, I mentioned that I was studying Criminology, specially with regards to Criminology of KPOP stars and that's not me bragging, that's just letting you all understand that I am FULLY (in about 2 more years) qualified to share the following fact with you.

You all, I'm getting VERY concerned about Taehyung (who I am the #1 fan of btw) I can't remember what episode it was but I know I AM NOT the ONLY one who witnessed the attempted DROWNING of JK by Tae in what can only be described as a giant fish tank.

I saw....one man's feet....on another man's...back...under a general source of water and I just literally can't with this. Like I said, I am the biggest Taehyung fan in my neighborhood but how can anyone be expected to condone this? Is this not attempted murder? And since the answer that question is yes, absolutely...is that not a crime?

And even more disturbing than the act itself is...and brace yourselves because you're not going to like this part...is the enablement from fans---because I see no discourse on this. Not from taekookers or even from jikoookers (and I have researched their twitter pages and cute jjk skinship videos EXTENSIVELY purely for research purposes) and not a little bo peep from them either.

I know Tae is your idol. He is mine too but we NEED some accountability. People, even famous KPOP idols can't go around trying to kill their [🫡BROS🫡] in fish tanks. I mean come on!

My wish for 2025 is that we all do better and that's why since 2017, I have been watching Taehyung's escapades and antics with a critical eye so I can call OUT this shocking behavior as soon as I see the slightest glimpse of it.

I am not a joker or a member of a joker cult but please join me in being the best Taehyung fans that we can be by noticing stuff like this even if it's sometimes not really that noticeable. Let us be the first lime of defense. Let us hone our skills together so that we can even predict this shocking stuff before it even happens so we can criticise in advance to keep our FAVE, our #1 on track 🙏

I feel like the ot7 "love all members equally" became such line pushed from some of the fandom in response to solos acting up and attacking anyone who they thought/think doesn't support the member they stan. It was almost a direct response to the "fake ot7, you're a ot6 or x member anti" that has become such a copy paste attack, so it almost became a copy paste response.

A world where each solo work is as equally supported or successful was unrealistic to anyone not too caught up in stan life. Taking member popularity out of the equation, even Bts songs perform differently and have different success levels depending on the actual song type, the release strategy etc. I think some people forget that despite army being massive they are not a hive mind for one, but also Bts have a lot of fans who aren't actively engaged in online fandom life or stan culture. Casual listeners, people who consider themselves fans, but don't spend any time online in kpop spaces, general music fans who like them. People like to put all their success on fandom, which yes Army play a massive role in, but they end up being very dismissive of the mystical gp people talk about so much. Bts have general music fans as listeners. If army was singularly responsible for everything then every bts song would perform as well as if not better then the previous and we know that in itself isn't true. It was the goto after Dynamite and Butter to treat anything not reaching those levels as a failure. If we can acknowlege their own group songs perform less well (well less well by chart watchers anyway) by being a korean ballad over an upbeat pop song, then that also extends to their solo releases as well. Infact most music artists have songs that hit and songs that miss charting wise despite having their own fanbases to help push them.

It's also perfectly normal for people to have preferences. Nobody loves each bts song equally. People prefer different genres and will act accordingly. Personally I'm more rapline biased so I naturally prefer and listen to their solo music more. On opposite side I've never really connected with Taes solo music prior to chapter 2. Does it mean I hate him? No it just means I have a musical preference.

I guess my point is that we can't say Bts have broken through beyond kpop meaning getting on the radar of non kpop fans and then try and pin everything about them at this point onto only their kpop fandom. There's a difference between being a stan and being a fan and Bts don't just have stans they have fans. Look at how wonderfully diverse army can be from race, gender, age etc and you think all those people are sitting on twitter or tiktok? That every single butt that fills those stadiums also has an online stan account? It might come as a shock to solos, but even people whe might like one members solo music won't automatically develop a hatred towards their group and other members because general music fans are not hyper competitive in that way.

It's like Yoongi talks about people seeing the world in black and white, when most people are grey. Stans, certain factions of army, solos etc they see things about Bts, the members, Army and achievements in black and white, but there are many Army or general Bts fans that exist in the grey area and the grey area isn't a hive mind so people need to stop expecting the actions and results of one.

Anyway sorry for my rant, it's not directed at you bpp because I feel like you'll understand what I'm saying. I've been thinking about it for a while and its a topic you've been discussing recently, so it just came out.

I don't really blame the fandom because I understand it's easier to say 'treat the members equally' when what you actually mean to say is 'Recognize all the members contribute equally to the group and should get your support if you claim to support BTS within your means, preferences, and ability, no matter how that support looks like. Also, 'support' doesn't mean interloping their team and management to push your own preferences on them if what you see isn't what you like.'

BigHit has always seemed to highlight different members or sub-units of members in different eras, rather than equal focus on all seven all the time. It's like the line distribution discourse: they select different members to use in different ways depending on the song. Someone doing only adlibs could just as much to add to the quality of the song as someone with half the lines. Like I've said, BTS is a team, a utility tool, or a room of weapons that they all decide on strategically using to elevate the whole group from time to time. From my observation it was:

It doesn't mean the other members were being 'mistreated' during those times either despite the akgaes of those members being absolutely convinced this was happening. BTS is just continuing in Chapter 2 a pattern they've showed throughout their career. All the members' debuts have been of outstanding quality and have been some of the best releases this year. It's clear the members ideas drove the music, concept, and presentation, and they're all reflecting on how to improve based on the feedback they've received. That to me is the most important thing in Chapter 2, and why I simply cannot force myself to be worried for them. That also would not have been possible under a company that's looking to stifle them or limit their potential. It's simply not how these things work here. Jungkook and Seven is the weapon they've decided to use this time and I hope they're successful.

Like I keep saying, it's a myth that people in the fandom are being coerced to support everything BTS releases. The fact is everyone here does what they want, and the overwhelming support BTS gets is because they have that many fans who genuinely like what they put out and want to support it. The results frankly speak for themselves and many narratives from multis, mantis, akgaes, and other k-pop stans, haven't matched the reality for a long time. The only reason it's still spread is two reasons: copium and hate.

It doesn't surprise me that the fandom is in this state tbh. I did a poll three months ago asking when people joined the fandom, and it showed ~60% of the responders joined after 2020. And many of these people are in jikook spaces (given I posted the poll on my blog) so I'd assume many could be very heavily biased to one or two members, and that's usually a pre-cursor to becoming a full-blown akgae unless someone actively de-radicalizes themselves. The only limiting factor for that transformation, is time.

I've been getting an ask from an acct for months asking the same thing. It's like they copy-paste the exact same ask into my inbox at the same time every week. I've never replied. One time they slipped up and posted the ask without being anonymous, so I saw their profile. This person was asking me why people in the fandom hate Jimin, how there were many OT6s, how they think I'm one myself, how they didn't understand how someone as sweet as Jimin would have people dislike him much less hate him. I looked at that person's profile, saw their following list filled with self-avowed PJMs whose blogs were more about 'Tedros', 'Payolakook', 'arrogant, selfish, stingy Yoongi and Namjoon', 'useless Seokjin', and 'sweet j-hope' (I'll come back to this), than anything about Jimin, his words, and his art. In fact, j-hope who was initially lauded on one blog as Jimin's only true friend in BTS (it doesn't escape me how he's had the furthest debut time from Jimin), was a fave until someone pointed out how he 'hogs' the dancer position in BTS and that he actually released On The Street close to FACE, and then Hobi became an asshole too according to those PJMs lmaooo. Like, these people just have such a simplistic, juvenile approach to BTS that I'd assume they were children, if not for the fact we see the same thought process play out in our politics - the realm of so-called adults.

Looking at that account's posting history, it was clear this person likely wouldn't think of themselves as a solo stan. Maybe just someone with a heavy bias who 'doesn't want to be in an echo chamber', or feels interacting with that part of the fandom is necessary to properly support their bias, or who wants to see frequent updates related to their biases; but it amused me how they could not draw a connection between their actions, their tolerance of hate towards members they don't think are as important/talented/etc as Jimin, and the state of the fandom towards the member they like. Like, do they think they're the only 'heavily biased ARMY' who casually scrolls pages that treat their bias like a god but nitpicks and tear down other members for real and perceived slights? Do they not see how they are creating the very problem they're observing? A lot of people are comfortable with supporting relentless 'criticism' or flat out hate thrown at other members (maybe even a member that person also doesn't like), but then act surprised that someone else in the fandom is just as comfortable with that mindset towards their bias. These people are mirrors of the exact same behaviours they say they hate, just towards the members they don't care about.

It's one of the most curious, hilarious, cognitive dissonances I see in these parts tbh.

But anyway, unless there's something drastic that splinters the ease with which people like this can stay and move around in the fandom, the situation will only worsen towards a full implosion. And if JK indeed gets a nomination, I'll be very happy. For many reasons. But the tantrums and resulting chaos will be a pain. If he doesn't get a nom, the heaving sighs of relief from the fandom too will be a separate problem loool. And then, *gasp* another k-pop act snagging the nomination and/or winning? Might as well become a prepper and plan for Armageddon.

welcome to ateez! they're such a gift to me as one of the first 4th gen fandoms i dipped my toes in along with skz. their lore may seem complex but it's actually easier to absorb than most with the way they've kept a clear through line of anarchy and anti-establishment deconstruction of "traditional" values (the real was my first comeback lol).

i haven't been able to deep dive in a while due to life/writing but you're gonna have a great time, i cannot wait to hear who you bias they're all very special to me.

with ateez i attune to writers who give me specifically intriguing characterization (yunho ult, seonghwa, hongjoong, and wooyoung is my wrecker) and obviously i'm a fan of polyamory so these recs will be coded to that but know there's a wealth of good fic out there for everyone. if you find recs send them my way i will absolutely read and rec as i have very few people in my life to exchange with but my asks and dms are open

in no particular order but with obvious bias:

@honeyhotteoks - this night together (a/b/o) is a masterclass entry in kpop omegaverse poly and while it's ongoing i'd wait until judgment day patiently for an update. they weave in situational heat help with so many emotions and a natural response to turn to other members for a "safer" less personal experience while unpacking the difficulty of dynamics across multiple lines it's immersive and real and so, so, so good. they have an incredible oeuvre but they specifically write yunho so beautifully it's a gift i could never stop being thankful for. room for three (seonghwa/yunho established relationship with unicorn reader) is an all time fave but know summer series and the rest of their yunho ml is my bible as a fellow hotteok

@tenelkadjowrites - not just my favorite seonghwa writer but one of my favorite writers of all time, said after decades of fic reading/writing, many of them in the star wars universe (yes we're including my formative years here but i'm a they/them hag). a once in a lifetime kismet of finding someone who can create perfect little aus that absorb you and all feel distinctly different. could i pick a favorite of their work? never. but video girl (90s au with a perfect actual real to my own experience soundtrack) and especially attention (camboy seonghwa with inexperienced reader and a beautiful twist of self-discovery) rocked my world, along with wallflower (true to canon star wars nerd seonghwa office au) are their most recent but just sit back and enjoy their entire catalogue. it's like discovering an artist who you'll follow for their rest of your life (and that's true for everyone i'm reccing tonight)

@setsugekka - art hoe kim hongjoong lives and breathes so fully realized in their writing that i feel like an idiot trying to convey what it has done for my own. i have both paradise lost and atarashi sitting in drafts for long form reviews because of how deserved they are for full reads/reactions but i'll be clear i found their ateez and skz work (and as a minho bias i'll be going there as well) through the mona lisa that is déjà rêvé and déjà vu aka the quintessential dom!doyoung text that has informed my own writing. i really can't add more to that statement beyond them being an impetus for me writing rpf over the last 2 years including longform

@ncteez - philomene [hongjoong/reader - stoned inexperienced perfect perfect fic] - i absolutely love the dreaminess of this fic and it's comforting as someone who loves stoned sex irl and in writing, perfectly articulated and wrought. no more words this song played on repeat while reading i wish i could offer a playlist for how perfect this was but also i could not hold a candle to the entirety of how many of their nct fics have carried me through the last few years. color evasion (dom!johnny/inexperienced reader) lives with me daily but everything they write will be a must read for me, thank you for these gifts

@shadowynn - in love and lore is one of the reasons i started writing longform fic. it's a fantasy demon!ateez au with such an incredibly well-written backstory that even if it isn't finished there's so much there to enjoy and go back to. it's like a first novel and whatever i receive will be good but god, hongjoong and seonghwa with healer/half-demon reader . . . inspiration isn't even the word i could use to describe how well the set-up and pacing is at this point . . . same with the paradigm complex. winnie writes reverse harem with a clear understanding of how to thread multiple storylines and arcs together and i am continuously in awe by whatever i am given.

Yes getting all cozy during the winter is the best. With a Christmas movie and stuffed animals all around you. Since I live in a hot climate it's not till like around now that it gets cold it was hot yesterday after like three days of heavy rain. It's pretty cold now but who knows what will happen tomorrow. aah i'm glad you received it! tumblr often eats up asks or notifications so i'm not too surprised lol

i had a feeling you already knew day6 since you like kbands lol shoot me is just so good. as for btob, missing you is just one of those songs i can't skip it's been on my top 100 tracks for like 3 years (so since the first time i heard it lol) and i really recommend their most recent music (as a quartet and then as a full group).

i hope you've had time to listen to the songs, i enjoyed discovering the ones you mentioned 🥰 i actually already had flowering by lucy and hoppipola's cover of creep but i hadn't listened to them in a long time so it was nice to go back to them (i love that hoppipola makes long songs it's so rare). the guitar solo in montage is insane and i have a mutual who's really into yonghoon and he really has an amazing voice so i ended up listening to the whole album!

the dreamcatcher's concert was my first kpop concert (and it was so fun even if i was on my own)! i started listening to kpop like a year before covid hit so by the time i was enough of a fan of groups to consider going to their concert they had stopped touring (or they did online concerts which were technically my first concerts lol) - hopefully there'll be more! what about you, have you been to any concert?

oooh i knew hweseung could play guitar well but i had never seen that performance, it's so nice! i love their lol medley too (love the vid and that dongsung got to sing) but aside from that my faves are probably their live don't cry cover and their don't start me now and leave the door open covers, i really wish they could be on spotify so i could listen to them more easily (seunghyub and hweseung also have great solo covers!) but i think it's already really cool that they have full videos for them with different sets and styling to fit the song, it's liek they really make the songs theirs

as for my holidays traditions, i celebrate christmas 🎄 when i lived with my parents we used to put up the christmas tree together with my brothers but now that i live on my own i don't have enough space to have a tree lol so i'll be going back to my family this weekend to celebrate together 🥰 and other than that i took part in a christmas market at my church (we sell handmade cards and other stuffs as well as some food so that's always nice) and i also really like finding presents for everyone in my family in the weeks leading up to christmas. when it comes to new year's eve i used to do a movie evening with my family but i'll be working that day so i won't go back and i don't know yet what i'll do probably a movie evening of my own! what about you?

Today was the day!

You were waiting for years for today to finally come. And it did.

You have been such a huge fan of the kpop band "stray kids" for years now, and you always wanted to see them live. You never got the chance though. Not working back then was the reason you could not attend since you couldn't afford a ticket, and then covid happened so concerts just kind of disappeared off the face of earth. Things are going back to normal, kinda, and you will finally.. finally see them live.

You are going with your boyfriend. He has been acting kind of weird lately and you genuinely do not know why, too scared to even ask him in fear he puts an end to your relationship. You just hope today changes things. Today you'll be together, having fun, dancing and singing at the concert, have a few drinks maybe.. and later when you come back home maybe he'll finally be in the mood for sex, which is something he's been avoiding for the past month.

Anyway, point is, today you're seeing stray kids, and that's insanely exciting cause that also means you'll finally see hyunjin live, in front of you! Hyunjin has been your bias from the beginning and you've been loyal ever since. You don't consider yourself a crazy fan with delusions, but that man.. he's just a little too fine for his own good

It's 6 pm, the concert is at 9 pm, so you and your boyfriend both start getting ready. He doesn't look excited at all though. He looks kinda.. miserable. You don't read much into it, you're too excited and have waiting for too long for this day to be ruined by anyone at this point. You locked yourself in the bathroom and got ready.

You're both there, it's already been an hour of you dancing and screaming your lungs out. Stray Kids are incredible. Every single one of them is just magical. And hyunjin.. oh brother, he is just ethereal. You knew he was going to look even better up close, but not like this.. not looking like a character that just jumped right out of a magical book.

You could not stop staring at him. His dancing was insane, his voice, his stare. You would swear he looked at you a few times, after all you were in front of the stage, and you turned next to you to tell your boyfriend that you think he looked at you with excitement in your eyes but you were met with a poker face. He was not even dancing, with a beer in his hand looking either emotionless or.. angry? You could not really tell. You could never tell with him anyways.. You turned your attention back to the stage and kept dancing and jumping.

As the time was passing it was clearly obvious that Hyunjin was looking at you. You were literally just staring at each other. You caught yourself feeling shy, like you were being observed in a way you were not at all ready for or expecting. Suddenly you felt someone grabbing your arm and it cut off your smile like a knife

"I can't do this anymore"

"What? What do you mean? Is there something wrong babe you wanna go outside maybe and wait for me?"

"No. Not what i mean. I want us to break up. Now"

"What?"

"You heard me."

"You're gonna do this.. right now?"

"Yes. I'm sorry but i just can't hold it anymore"

And he just left. He dropped your arm and started walking fast towards the exit of the venue. You were just standing there looking at his back, leaving you just like that in the middle of this concert while you were having the time of your life 2 minutes ago before he decided to drop this bomb on you and leave.

Warm tears started escaping your eyes. You turned to look at the stage. He was looking at you, again. He had a worrying expressions all over his face. What the hell. What if he saw all this oh that's just way too embarrassing. Your bias watching you getting dumped during his own concert. You quickly looked away. You were so shocked. Everything started sounding weird, like white noise. You folded for a second and tried to focus on the sounds. When you realized you were probably going through a shock you turned around and started walking out.

You went to the bathroom and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked awful. Mascara and eyeliner rolling down your cheeks and spreading all over your face. Eyes red from crying. You tried to fix yourself, collect yourself and go back there and enjoy the last part of the concert. But it was impossible. You could not stop crying. Fixing your makeup and ruining it again a few second later. You could not believe he did this to you.. You locked yourself in one of the bathrooms and just stayed there.. for at least 30 minutes, when suddenly you hear footsteps, loud speaking and laughing. The concert was over. You missed the last 40 minutes or so, and you've been locked in this godforsaken venue bathroom crying. But you just refused to get out. You did not know what had gotten into you. You just wanted to stay on that dirty bathroom floor and cry your eyes out.

A few minutes later, after the venue was basically empty from fans, you heard footsteps again, the sound getting louder each passing second, which meant the person was getting closer.

"Is someone in here? Are you okay?"

You froze. What the actual fuck. His voice? No this can't be. You're probably imagining things from all the crying.

"Are you crying?"

You remained frozen,

"Look, I'm really sorry I'm here, i know this is the women bathroom but i heard sobs and i had to check. Did something happen and can i help you? It's okay. Just unlock the door."

You knew now that it was definitely him. This was Hyunjin’s voice. You could recognize that voice from miles away. You unlocked the door.

"Oh my god it's you" he said "I saw everything sweetheart i'm so sorry, it's okay. I'm sure he was an asshole anyway"

And with that, him literally being in front of you kneeling, calling you a sweetheart, recognizing you, immediately trying to comfort you, you fell in his arms and started sobbing.

"It's okay, you can cry. That was the most asshole move I've ever seen in my life" he said and started moving his hand up and down your back.

"Hey" he said when you kind of calmed down, your head still on his shoulder "You wanna come to my dressing room and clean yourself? I'll make sure you go home safely tonight. That asshole didn't even think about how you were going to leave"

You were utterly shocked. Hwang Hyunjin comforting you, calling your (now ex) boyfriend an asshole, taking care of you.. ??? what was even happening.

You nodded and he felt it on him. He stood up and helped you stand. And then you just walked behind him, following him around the venue, long halls, big spaces, and then suddenly you saw a door with his name on it, and him entering and turning around to look at you, so you walked in.

"First of all, what's your name?"

"I'm..i'm y/n"

"Cute name you got there going on"

You laughed.

"How old are you?"

"20"

"Oh okay good, this would've seem weird i guess if you were younger."

You laughed again.

"Listen I, I will go outside and wait for you to take a bath, this is the bathroom and these are the towels you can use. If you need anything just call me, i'll hear you, alright?"

"You.. you don't have to go outside"

"Oh no it's okay, I would never want to make you uncomfortable. Use the room like it's yours and I'll go find someone from our staff that can safely take you home"

"I want you to stay." you said.

He froze, just like you did when you heard his voice in that dirty bathroom.

And as you were looking at each other, you started addressing yourself, your eyes never leaving his, his never leaving yours, refusing to look down at your body.

"Is what i'm doing.. unacceptable?" you said

"N..no"

"Then why are you not looking"

"I don't think I should"

"You definitely should"

Nothing can be done, he cannot tolerate it. He tried though, really tried. But the slightest voice that's a bit too death growl, he feels every hair on his body bristle. It's just horrible for him, too loud, he can't understand anything they say.

All you have to do is turn on the music and he will cover his ears and growl. This at least has the merit of stopping any argument he might want to start with you, as he tends to run away as soon as the music is on.

You're not cruel either, so you bought him earplugs so he doesn't have to plug his ears constantly. He doesn't want to listen to them with you anyway. It's too much to ask. "Go and listen to your demonic music with Ivan, away from the manor if possible and not in the garden! You'll scare the flowers."

Except for death metal, which he really doesn't like. He doesn't mind that you like metal. He won't really listen to it with you though, except maybe for melodic death metal or gothic metal, which he likes a bit more than the others (Ethan made him listen to the latter).

If you really insist, he will agree to follow you to a concert. Even if he doesn't really like the music, he loves the atmosphere. It's not as classy as his Moondance, but it's great fun. For this reason alone, he will agree to accompany you a little more often.

He often argues with Vladimir and Raphael for you.  It would be a shame if they could annoy everyone with their classical music but you couldn't even listen to your own music in peace.

Ivan :

He loves you! He really does. Everyone here hates metal (well, mostly Vladimir and Raphael and they know how to make everyone in the manor understand it).

He will insist that you go to concerts together and so Aaron feels obliged to go with you because he is far too afraid that Ivan will do something stupid if no one is watching him. The younger one forgets to take the earplugs. Fortunately, Aaron had taken more because he had expected Ivan to forget.  It's quite difficult to get permission to go back, but since there are two of you harassing Aaron you always end up succeeding.

Since you've been with him he's been letting loose a bit more in the manor and doesn't really hesitate to do air guitar while screaming in the living room. The first time Vladimir saw him do this he threw a slipper at him and yelled at him to stop shaking his head. That didn't stop him from continuing.

Aaron :

No... really. He doesn't hate it, but he doesn't like it either. It's not to offend you or hurt your feelings, but he really does find it... lame. He won't stop you from listening to it though, as long as you don't turn the music up loud to piss off Raphael and Vladimir, you can do what you want. Moreover, your taste for metal brings you closer to Ivan and Ethan and if your taste for this kind of music allows you to channel the two younger ones, he's not going to lie, it does him a favour. Just don't do concerts in the living room...

He will still go with you if you go to a concert, mainly to see how it goes and to make you happy. He doesn't like the atmosphere either, it's far too noisy and hectic for him, but in the end as long as you're having fun, he doesn't mind. He likes to see you happy.

He will take your side with Vladimir and Raphael, just because you don't listen to classical music doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to music at all.

His reaction is far more excessive than Vladimir's, he hesitates to pierce his eardrums as soon as he hears the first notes of "music". He plugs his ears, moans and groans as much as he can before leaving the room where the demonic noise comes from. He usually goes immediately to Vladimir to complain or to Aaron. Someone has to make this noise stop!

Why doesn't he just ask you to turn the music off? He doesn't want to be seen as the killjoy that keeps his partner from having fun and you seem to be having a lot of fun with this... unfortunately...

He will not make an effort to like this music, he will not even make an effort to tolerate it and will instead try to make you listen to "real" music over and over. You might as well say that he won't go with you to a concert either, it would be a real punishment for him to have to come.

Ethan :

He's a bit surprised when he realises that you actually like metal. To be honest, he was afraid of running into another classical music fanatic who swears by Vivaldi or Debussy. Besides, he really likes you, so it's a real pleasure to spend time with you.

He takes you to a concert whenever you want and, unlike Ivan, he doesn't forget his earplugs. He insists that you wear them because he is afraid that the noise will damage your eardrums. In general you both have a lot of fun, after all you don't have to worry about making too much noise like at the manor and neither Vladimir nor Raphael is likely to complain about the noise.

He knows a lot of Finnish bands, in fact it's mainly the bands he listens to the most. He loves bands like Hevein, Ensiferum, Turisas and Viikate. Of course the advantage is that Vladimir and Raphael hate them

He doesn't want to be the old fart who doesn't like "young" music, but this thing is still horrible, and he weighs his words. Seriously, he would have tolerated a lot of musical genres (except electronic), but Metal! Why do you do this to him?

Finally, despite everything, he offered you concert tickets so you could go and he came with you, just to please you and with noise-cancelling headphones and earplugs, as a result he couldn't hear anything you said. It wasn't the worst night of his life, because he enjoyed watching you have fun, but he wouldn't do that every night.

After seeing you listen to it, he finally recognizes that symphonic metal is not that bad. Let's just say that if he has no choice, he will tolerate hearing it in the house. For the rest, he would prefer that you keep your headphones on when you listen to it.

Like Aaron, it's clearly not her favourite genre of music. But like him too, she is not bothered by the idea of you listening to it. The music seems to make you happy and she loves to see you happy and in a good mood.

She has already accompanied members of the pack to some concerts, so she will accompany you too if you wish. She just hopes you don't plan on going too often. So on January 1st Dispatch revealed the first idol couple of 2019 - E*XO's K*ai and BP's J*ennie. When I first read about the news I was shocked (like everyone else). That was the most random couple I've seen ever since I joined the kpop community. Of course I quickly overcame the shock and was happy for them. I was also happy that they didn't receive backlash from any fans, be it international or knets. But as I looked further into dispatch's photos and statements and fans observations things started looking weird. So I made a little investigation, looked into dates and I came to the conclusion that the reason this couole seemed so unreal and random is because it might not be real.

I'm gonna separate this into a couple of parts. First part is dispatch photos:

So according to Dispatch these photos are taken on November 25th. By going to K*ai's personal instagram we can also see that he has uploaded a photo on that day at around 19:30 (7:30pm), wearing the same clothes he is wearing on the dispatch photos:

That led many fans to believe that it was J*ennie who took the photos while they enjoyed their date. But when you look up J*ennie's schedule on that day you'll see that she had an appearance on Inkigayo:

Inkigayo usually starts at 3:40 SKT and goes for 70 minutes (1 hour and 10 minutes). The show is live

J*ennie stayed there until the end(around 17:00/5pm)and had a fan meeting after the broadcast:

J*ennie left the fan meet between 18:30 (6:30pm) and 19:00(7:00p.m).

According to Dispatch the Jen*kai date was at Sky/ Haneul park but that park closes at 19:00 (7:00pm). So how can J*ennie leave the fan meet minutes before the park closes yet be on a date there?

Another really important detail is J*ennie's hair. Her hair is straighten during the broadcast and fan meet but it's wavy when she got in the car with J*ongin:

If she was on a date with J*ongin at Sky Park (bedore 7pm since that's when it closes) and finished her fan meeting after 6:30 pm, when did she have time to shower, remove make up, dry her hair and redress?

Another strange thing is that J*ennie uploaded these photos on 25th of November on Instagram:

My opinion: J*ongin has already been in a public relationship before. That relationship wasn't accepted well by the public. He received hate, backlash, had "fans" leave the fandom and was obviously upset. A lerson would think he will be more careful in the future and only reveal his gf when he is ready to fce any kind of backlash. According to Dispatch they started dating in October. That's only three months of dating. Three months in which he didn't bother to hide the relationship even though he doesn't know how the public would react. And J*ennie has a dating ban. Y*G doesn't allow Black*pink to communicate with i*KO*N so they don't start dating. And the only time they are allowed to date is of Y*G allows them. But Y*G released a statement in which he said that he wasn't aware of the relationship. J*ennie also knows what happens to female idols when they're revealed to be dating such a famous male idol. Then why would they be so careless. K*ai picking her up FROM YG, them holding hands (according to dispatch), posting clues on instagram. Another fact I'd like to point out is that dispatch always contacts the companies before they reveal something. The company has the choice to pay them to keep quiet or to let them reveal it. If Y*G and S*M knew why didn't they have a statement ready to post. They waited around 7 hours (to make it seem like it was a surprise to them and didn't know how to react).

If he were to loosen up and take the chance with slowly talking to the followers as people and speaking more on a realistic conversation level, stop posting as if he will be gunned down if he even remotely posts normal things with non celebrity / industry friends. I'm just saying. There is a clear 100% reason the fans treat Taeyang differently than they treat TOP. Nobody can argue with me on this period. You / your mutual her treated the way you allow yourselves to be treated. We have two different perspectives on this. I personally believe he just really liked her stuff and it was nothing more than that for a while. This could have been resolved better if he didn't have any crippling anxieties himself

Yes you somewhat did rattle her and it wasn't the smartest decision to introduce someone like her to someone like him and kpop in general. Some people and subject matters don't mix even if they share common interests. She wont understand and probably never will. It's okay. It's one of those situations where you either have the immense patience and open mindedness or you'll only understand if you were there from the beginning, which she wasn't. Hence how doesn't get that it IS possible to be an idol and be esteemed like this. He utilities his resources and money to get into these fields.

But it's all really sad. A good potential internet friendship tanked. Sad. He could have sent her a DM testing the waters but it's that complex risk of him possibly thinking she'll react like a mega fan or be overwhelmed that HE messaged her when in reality like you conveyed he's kind of a random guy to her. So that's the most frustrating thing about TOP and a majority of idols in general to me. They are so out of reach and keep themselves out of reach. I'm sorry i know we live in the age of mental health coddling but the average person who has their ish together wouldn't over complicate this if they're going to keep this pattern up knowing the interaction would gain traction.

Anyways he's stuck for now and it's sad. Just very sad. Wish them both the best. You're not a bad co worker. You just shared a little interesting person to her who matched her interest who she couldn't handle and he in turn wasn't ever ready to take the leap with.

Too Many Temptations. Chapter One; A Haunting Seduction

You're exhausted, it's a bit past midnight and tomorrow's another long day. You're flying to Japan. You're a stylist for kpop idol group, Bangtan boys. You flop down face first on your bed. Your phone vibrates in your hand, you peek open one eye and a smile slips from your lips. This is so wrong, you know someone's going to find out you've been seeing this boy. You might even lose your job. It's worth it though. He makes you feel like no one else has. In more ways than one.

You roll over to your back, holding your phone above your face, the light shining against your skin. Jimin is the absolute sweetest guy ever. It's been about 4 months since your first "more-than-friends" interaction, and you've loved every moment. You shoot a text back, and put your phone on its charger.

You grab a duffle bag from your closet, and start tossing things inside. Makeup, clothes, camera equipment. You weren't a big fan of the concealer you were told to use on Jin, it was way too light and washed out his face.
