Summery : Bob's home from a mission and he's got something he needs to share.

For the thousandth time that morning you checked your phone, sighing softly when there were no new notifications. With frustration, you flipped your phone over so you couldn't see the screen, hoping that would stop the constant anxious gnawing in your stomach. 

You weren't usually one to stare longingly at your phone but today was different. Bob was due home, but he'd, and the rest of the returning service personnel, were put on no contact until they arrived back on the base, meaning, although you knew he would be home soon you had no way of knowing when that would be, and if he was still in one piece. 

The minutes of that day seemed to crawl by as you waited, waited and waited some more to hear from him. Although you weren't in a romantic relationship with Bob he was still one of the most important people in your life. He was your best friend and your love for him was so deep that you never wanted to think of your life without him in it. 

The morning had quickly flowed into the afternoon, and the hours of the afternoon were passing rapidly, every tick of the kitchen clock feeling like a hammer blow against your heart. You had been reading the fridge when his call finally came through, the vibration against the tabletop had you slamming the fridge door closed and dashing toward your phone. 

You managed to answer after only a single ring, your whole body flooding with relief at the sound of his voice. 

"Hey, it's me," he said when you answered the call. 

"I know," you said softly, “I’ve got caller ID,”

"Yeah sorry, I know," he replied with a soft laugh. 

A silence fell between the two of you as you struggled to work out what to say. Weeks of no contact always made space for a few awkward silences but it wouldn’t take long for the ice of time and distance to thaw and for things to be back to normal.

"Are you free to pick me up?" He asked after a few seconds. 

"Of course,” you replied quickly, already moving toward the front door, car keys in hand, “I can be there in about 30 minutes,". 

"Alrigh' I'll give the gate your details, see you soon,". 

The call ended as you stepped out of the door, the anxious feeling in your stomach had turned into butterflies as you sped toward the base, your hands trembling with the surge of adrenaline now coursing through you. It seemed no matter how many times he went away and came home again, the effect on you was the same. 

You managed to calm your breathing and your erratic heartbeat before you arrived at the main gates, you were let through the gate and drove up to the main block where you knew there would be others collecting loved ones. 

You parked and got out of your car, all around you there were families being reunited, children being hugged and swung around, wife's, girlfriends, boyfriends and husband's being held and kissed by returning service personnel and you felt somewhat out of place as you stood, alone, looking for him. 

You recognised a few faces from previous pickups, and you couldn’t stop the burn of tears in your eyes as you watched happy families coming together. 

You fidgeted with the hem of your shirt as you scanned the crowd for him, finally catching sight of him, the late afternoon sun flashing off his glasses as he stepped out of a door off to the left hand side of the block, around his neck was the arm of a taller officer and the two of them were laughing. 

He saw you and his smile broadened, he waved, pulling away from his friend and breaking into a slow jog toward you, as soon as he was close enough you threw yourself into his arms and hugged him tightly. 

"Hey," you said softly, taking a deep breath and drawing the smell of him deeply into your lungs. 

"Hey yourself," Bob replied, giving you an extra squeeze. 

He heard you sniff as you fought harder against the tears burning eyes and forcing your throat closed. 

"No tears," he said softly as he released you from his embrace and looked at your face,  noticing the wobble in your bottom lip and the glassy look in your eyes, "me being home is supposed to be a happy thing". 

"I am happy,". 

"Okay so no tears or I'll get a complex,".

You let your eyes roam over his face, each of his features as familiar to you as your own face in the mirror. You noticed a scar on his forehead that hadn’t been there when he’d left, you reached up and brushed your thumb over the mark. 

"What happened?" You asked. 

Bob laughed softly, "I, uh, got on the wrong side of some cables and ended up on my face on the flight deck," he said, touching the silvery mark on his forehead. 

"As long as that's all it was," you replied, your whole body shivering at the idea of the type of risks he ran every time he went up in his jet. 

"I'll tell you about the near miss over dinner huh?" He teased, elbowing you gently.

"No thank you," you replied with a smile as the two of you started to move in the direction of your car. 

"Not even if I'm the hero of the story?" He asked as he climbed into the passenger seat. 

"Especially then," you said, "I like to imagine all you do when you're away is sit about and take no risks,". 

Bob laughed as you started the engine and pulled out of your parking space. On the drive back to your home you caught Bob up with anything and everything he missed while he'd been away and Bob told you a few things that he'd been up to, although a lot of details needed to be left out. 

You asked if he wanted to get a drink in town which he declined, you knew the local town would be full that evening with the returning crew, and understandably, Bob wanted a quiet evening. 

Once back at your home Bob stripped out of his boots and went to take a shower. The spare room of your home was always made up ready for him and a few comfortable outfits were hanging in the wardrobe. Once he’d changed into a faded blue t-shirt and grey sweatpants he came to find you in the kitchen. 

"You want me to cook or shall we order?" You asked as you got two bottles of cola from your fridge. 

"Uh, what would you cook?" He asked as you handed him a bottle and he popped the top off easily. 

"Well you know me," you joked, "pasta or, uh, pasta?". 

"I love pasta,". 

Bob almost ate himself into a coma before curling up on your sofa and dozing off, his head cushioned by his hands. His eyes were closed and there was a small smile on his face. 

"Can I tell you something?" He asked, not opening his eyes. 

"Sure, knock yourself out," you replied from the other sofa where you were feeling sleepy after all the hours of worrying you'd done earlier in the day. You had your own eyes closed, your head propped up on your fist.

"We went down, me and my pilot, something went wrong and we lost control. We were crashing into the water so we ejected, it was pretty textbook stuff but in those few seconds when I wasn't acting on pure instinct I think I realised something,". 

As he was talking you'd felt yourself getting more and more tense, each one of your muscles seizing up as you pictured him in a failing jet, working purely on instinct and adrenaline. Too scared to move but the only person who could do anything. Bob stifled a yawn before continuing.

"I was bobbing around in the water, waiting to get picked up, freezing cold but also getting burned by the sun and the only thing I could think about was you," Bob's eyes opened slowly and fixed his gaze on you. 

Although your eyes remained closed, he could see the tension in your body. 

"And then I thought to myself, if I died here, who would I leave behind? And it was you. You were the only thought I had out there, how much I wanted to see you one more time, tell you a joke and hear you laugh, that's all I could think about,"

Your heart was pounding in your chest and the sound of your blood pumping in your ears was almost deafening. Bob spotted the tremble in your hand that you wouldn’t have been able to hide if you’d tried. 

You opened your eyes and met his gaze, finding it sleepy but also clear, like the exhaustion was giving him clarity of thought. And while Bob could still feel the  sleep pulling on his mind, he needed to get his thoughts out while he had them in his head. 

"Can you come here please?" He asked as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. 

With an uncertain step you stood and moved toward him, coming to stand directly in front of him, in between his knees. He placed his hands on your hips and you touched your hands to his cheeks. 

"Out there I realised something," he said softly, looking deeply into your eyes, "I love you, and not just as my friend, as my everything,".

For the second time that day you felt your throat closing up as tears burned in your eyes and your bottom lip wobbled. Bob smiled as he reached up and touched his thumb to your trembling lip. 

"Don't cry," he whispered, "you'll give me a complex,".

I was quietly browsing the obkk tag on ao3, looking for a hot and erotic read to spend the night when I came across a common headcanon: Obito, the greatest terrorist of the Elemental Nations is a virgin with zero experience and Kakashi is the greatest fucking machine in Konoha (or, in other words: much more experienced than Obito)

This got me thinking. I thought about it so much that I came up with several ideas, several headcanons that I need to share with you since I don't know if I'll be able to write a story like this on my own. (I have so many stories in progress/on hiatus in Google docs that I get all messy 😅)

Okay, here we go! How about a reverse trope? We know that ninjas are excellent war machines, they can also be great fucking machines! (They know the anatomy of the human body so well. Isn't it stupid to think that they can use this knowledge for other things that have nothing to do with killing and torturing)

I like to imagine that Kakashi is a reserved man in his private life. He doesn't kiss and tell. Not at all.

Kakashi is known as a pervert because of his beloved icha icha book, but we know that being a reader of porn stories doesn't make someone a sex-active person (or does it? I'm not sure if it counts that way). Anyway, moving on: Kakashi is reserved and rarely gets sexually involved with anyone (oh, he certainly has experience, but you know, PTSD, depression and other various triggers that can be triggered at any time are not good libido stimulants, in my opinion), continuing:

When Kakashi is feeling good and wants to have a casual encounter and a quick hookup, he doesn't go for it as himself. In other words: He doesn't like being Hatake Kakashi at those times (too public, too infamous, too risky. Too problematic. Better to disguise himself)

Kakashi is the king of disguise. He has several disguises - and Obito knows all of his disguises because Obito is a stalker freak who has a sixth sense for when Kakashi is feeling good enough to socialize. So he stalks Kakashi and monitors him.

Creepy, I know, but that's canon.

From here on things get... A little crazy? Disturbing? In short, things get a little dark.

Obito is so obsessed that he doesn't like to see Kakashi "moving on" much less getting involved with someone because for Obito Kakashi has to live in misery like he does. They need to make an agreement like this - in Obito's opinion.

But if Kakashi wants some sexual gratification, Obito can give it to him. (And why not? Obito already gave him the eye.) But Obito can't always intercept Kakashi (remember how Obito is a criminal busy plotting world domination? Destabilizing Kiri? Recruiting ninjas for the Akatsuki?) so Obito can't always disguise himself, intercept Kakashi, and be his one-night stand. What does Obito do when Kakashi spends the night with a literal stranger? It's not too hard to guess: Obito kills Kakashi's temporary partner. (Possessive, obsessive, and delusional Uchiha make a disastrous combination.)

There may be some torture and a crazy speech about "you're going to die bc you touched my teammate"

Unnamed character tied up and kidnapped by Obito: "What? Are you crazy? I don't even know who you're talking about!"

Obito: "I'm talking about Kakashi! MY teammate. Mine to touch. MINE to make him suffer. MINE to kill. MY Kakashi! And you dared to sleep with him! I hope you enjoyed your night because you're not getting out of here alive. I don't want you living in the peaceful and perfect world that I WILL CREATE in a few years. Like I'm going to let you enjoy my hard work and dream about MY Kakashi.

*Cut 🔪* the unnamed extra dies and Obito is ready to give Kakashi some nightmares (in his opinion, Kakashi needs to be punished and reminded that this hellish reality is not worth living in nor looking for good things)

Okay. Now let's move on to my second idea!

We know that Obito is obsessed and obsessive. He's a crazy stalker who always watches Kakashi.

Obito is one of, if not THE greatest assassin of the Elemental Nations. He can easily be the greatest fucking machine as well. Imagine the fame that Don Juan Obito has! (let's call him Don Juan Obito, bc I can't think of a pseudonym right now).

Consider all the physical changes in Obito's body. He has seemingly limitless stamina, lots of energy to burn; lots of stress; lots of hormones inside his body going crazy during spring, mostly (Mokuton's fault. You have no idea how much it affects him.)

Jiraya wants to declare war on this ninja who dares to bewitch all the ladies in the red district wherever he goes. And the worst part! It's not just the ladies who sing praises to this magical dick Don Juan Obito.

Jiraya can't stand to hear the giggles and sighs around this man whose identity he can't figure out. (Tsunade is laughing somewhere)

Bonus scene: imagine that Kakashi (in one of his disguises) is also sighing in delight.

He didn't just have the best sex with this stranger (sort of familiar), he also received the best aftercare. But Kakashi is a reserved man, he doesn't kiss and tell. He also doesn't tell that this sex god always favors him and comes to see him every night 🤫

Kakashi wouldn't be Kakashi without a little angst and drama, right? So he has these uncontrollable Hatake instincts whenever his sexual partner is around. He wants to bite, to make his claim on this man obvious, he also gets jealous when he hears all these compliments about his man (it's not his, he knows but try to convince his instincts otherwise).

Also: to drive Kakashi crazy and mortified with himself: he thinks about Obito. Always. He slips up and calls out Obito's name and his sexual partner happily ignores it (in fact, his partner gets even wilder). But sometimes his partner is also a shit, he will ask blatantly: who is Obito? His ex-boyfriend?

(Kakashi is freaking out internally. How the hell does he imagine his ex-teammate dead at these times?)

Obito is having fun. He will probably try to sell his idea of a perfect world to Kakashi (he is so good at pillow talk. Kakashi is being seduced and manipulated.)

Bonus Scene 2: Imagine when the Eye of the Moon Plan is realized. Imagine how many people are dreaming about Don Juan Obito!

tl;dr Write badly first, come back and polish it where you can/want. Start in the middle of scenes. Switch mediums often. Be cringe because being happy is better than being perfect. Dull to bright, dark to light, loose to tight.

My writing process??

Do it as soon as it's in your brain. Even if it's just a broken sentence with no real structure like "Megatron doesn't like crust on his bread" or something.

Write it down, type it out, strike while the iron is hot! Get that idea out of there and onto something you can work on. It could be paper, in your sketchbook, the back of some scrap paper, in your notes app on your phone, a google doc, notepad, anything where you can come back to it or toss it if it doesn't matter to you.

I tend to type faster than I write, and my phone is always on me. Hell, I used to text myself in facebook messenger all the things I wanted to keep. Once I sent myself a voice recording because I was waiting in my car in a too long drive thru line and I didn't want to not pay attention to what's in front of me.

When you do this, the goal is to not worry about perfection but simply being able to come back to something out of your brain.

It helps to do it with a medium you don't care about because that takes away the pressure of trashing something nice (plenty of people run into this issue and apply too much pressure). I know a lot of folks tend to buy notebooks specifically for writing, but sometimes that can limit you to writing only in that book, and I know some folks might have a hard time even putting something out when that notebook is missing. (This is not a bad thing btw and it does work for some folks, just not for me personally.)

Once I have the idea out of my head, I run with it until I can't anymore. I ignore all the spelling mistakes and the grammatical errors until I run out of steam. From there, I jump to the next thing and forget about the work for a while. I know that it's there, but something else caught my attention and I need to go deal with that, which could be anything from work to a different project or things at home or even friends.

When I do come back to it, it's been long enough that I have fresh eyes and I can see what I'm doing and where I want to go. Not always the last part, but usually the first. I do some clean up and maybe add some more, but I'm not rushing. I'm taking my time and letting things flow. Sometimes I even move the work to a different app or medium like Word or Google Keep.

After that, I just keep hammering away at the work until I like where it's at enough to post. I jump around between editing and adding more and even do it piece by piece. I'll write one story beat at work in my notes and then I'll finish that moment up and toss it into the working project and let it mingle.

It can also be a huge inspo to just talk about your ideas with others. I have a small group of friends that I do this with. We always share what ifs or small hcs and then we take turns building on it to get a soup of sorts. Then we feed that to the single brain cell we share and the words just pour out of us.

If I really want to get in the zone, I snag a big glass of something to drink that tickles my fancy, toss on some wordless music or a small set of songs that fits the vibe (sometimes I use brown noise to calm the bees in my brain), and I jump into the middle of a scene.

Also it helps when you write for yourself. Be self-indulgent in a hidden document somewhere (physical or digital, your choice) and tell yourself it's going to be bad on purpose. No one else is going to see it but you, and you can choose to show others on here or not. You can always make more if it's not to your liking, or you can make more of the exact same thing if you do love it.

Being original is cool, but having fun (especially nowadays) is more important, especially in fandom space.

You may even find that plenty of folks have the same feelings you have and like the same stuff.

It's okay to be bad the first go because you can come back and polish it up later. It's like making pancakes in that way because the first few off the griddle suck and are ugly, but once you get the hang of it, you'll fall into a rhythm and feel more confident.

About a month ago I started working on this template and it truly was a wild experience. There are 26-pages of a mix of journal-diary-quiz-notebook-academia tips-blog post all centered around staying consistent, finding motivation, having more fun and finding systems that work for you.

I loved making this and I want to share it with everyone and anyone out there in school (the university babes most specifically!). It made me a little nostalgic but also made me emotional—the thought of " wow, life can be good" vibes kept coming up. Guess I'm just a hopeful romantic✨.

I really dont know if it will truly help anybody. But I seriously hope it does. It all stemmed from a concern someone raised in the studyblr community about finding ways to stay consistent and motivated (shout out to @caffeineoverdosed🥹 idk if you remember, but your question you posted a month ago about being consistent, sent me down the best rabbit hole). And here I am, a lot of typing later.

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose

By any other name would smell as sweet

They’re eating dinner when Osha asks the question. She’s sitting on the stone steps in their cave, cradling a bowl of soup in her hands. She looks relaxed, one leg propped on the step, the other curled under her.

“I still can't believe I never heard of you back at the temple. You're not that old,” there's mischief in her eyes as she adds that last part. Surprised, Qimir drops his spoon into his soup.

He wonders if she minds, if she would prefer they were closer in age. Imagines how it would be if he knew her before. What it would be like to train together as padawans and share their first experiences. Imagines sneaking out of the Jedi temple with her to lie in a meadow, young and innocent. Kissing for the first time, surrounded by flowers and sunlight and life.

It makes him think about his time as Vernestra's padawan. The years he spent training under her were nothing like the vision he just conjured. He had a different name then, already half-forgotten and alien to him. It belonged to a different person – a person he hasn't been for a long time. Even if she heard of him, she wouldn't know it, she wouldn’t recognise that other name. And who's to say what lies Vernestra spun when she returned to Coruscant without her padawan? He knows her well enough to know she would never let the story of his fall to the dark side see the light of day. Would never let the world learn how she maimed him and left him half-dead for the local predators to finish the job for her. No, she would make sure to control the narrative. He has a feeling even he wouldn’t recognise the version of the story she presented to the Jedi.

Would he still be the boy he used to be if he knew Osha back then? Would having her by his side keep him in the light? He thinks it’s more likely it would make him fall sooner. Because try as he might, he can’t imagine having Osha in his life and not loving her with a burning passion. Having her in his life and meekly adhering to the ridiculously strict tenets of the Jedi code.

Qimir may not be the name given to him by his parents, but he only spent a few years with them, barely remembers life before he was taken by the Jedi anyway, so does it even matter? This is the name he chose for himself. As a cover at first, yes, but then – then it was the name Osha knew him by. Just like his bumbling alter ego, it holds fragments of his true self. Even if the name wasn't his originally, he wants to be Qimir. Osha's Qimir.

walking away from all you know

By popular demand, and by 'popular demand' I mean literally one person, I'm sharing my writing for the first time in years😅 Please be gentle.

I've been turning the issue of Qimir's name in my head over and over again. Pondering the significance of name vs. identity, and whether his real name is actually important when he must have changed so much ever since he became the Stranger, like a magical orb. Last night I couldn't sleep until I got this out of my head and on paper (well, on a google doc but, you know). I have two notebook pages of bullet points of things I'd like to see explored in a continuation of Osha and Qimir's story and the name reveal, or lack thereof, is one of them. Who knows, maybe now that I got this one out I'll latch onto another and cook something up to be read by me and exactly one other person.

Basic Magical Hero Terminology 🌙

Hi everyone! Welcome to Mahou Planet's first guide on our tumblr page!

Before I begin, I'd just like to give a couple of regards:

I forgot to clarify that this main account is almost exclusively ran by the owner of Mahou Planet, Georgia. Unless stated otherwise, Georgia is usually the one writing these posts. I just like talking in 3rd person since I want to sound a bit more professional yk?? (psst say hi to me in the comments im so cool)

Now that that's out of the way, let's jump into the guide!

✨️ TAKING IT SLOW

Wether you're a beginner magical hero who has no idea what they're getting into, or an advanced magical hero who has likely heard these terms in their sleep, magical hero terminology is important to know when you're in the magical hero community. Without understanding some basic terms, you'll have no idea what magical heroes on Wattpad, Discord, etc. are talking about when they post. Let's take things slow for this first post and go over some terminology!

🌙 TERMINOLOGY

Magical Hero (MH) -> A magical hero is.. well.. what you're becoming!

"BUT GEORGIA!!! WHY DO YOU USE MAGICAL HERO IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MAGICAL GIRL!!!" You can use magical girl as well, a lot of people in the community use that term as an umbrella term. There are some people, however, who want to become a magical girl but do not identify as a girl. For instance, I may be afab, but I identify as genderfluid. I use both magical girl and magical hero, but that may not be the case for others!! Some may use magical boy, magical enby, etc. That doesn't make them any less of a magical hero!

Concept -> A basic explanation of a concept is the type of a magical hero you're becoming. Magical heroes can be from any show, franchise, even your own original concepts! Some of the common ones I see are Precure, Madoka Magica, and Sailor Moon, though personally I've seen a lot more original concepts rise through the community. Concepts can be as vague or as detailed as you want- I'll go more into detail about concepts wayyy later.

Familiar/Mascot -> Familiars, or mascots, are who give you the power to become a magical hero! They usually also represent your team and give you advice on how to succeed as a magical hero. Unlike what you see in typical magical hero shows, familiars don't always have to be animals. They can be humans, objects, etc. Sometimes, you can have a concept with no familiar!

Script -> A script is a collection of what you want as a magical hero. Scripting is the process of creating your script. This is usually done in a word processor, like Google Docs or Notion. You can add in pictures of your outfits/weapons, info about yourself, etc! I'll be sharing some of my self made scripting templates later on!

Subliminals -> Subliminals are subconsious messages over music or noise that go into your subconsious mind, helping you manifest desired results. Subliminals aren't just exclusive for becoming a magical hero. There are different subliminal topics, such as getting longer hair, changing your eye color, etc! Friendly reminder that subliminals are just a tool to help you manifest, and are not required for you to transform. What is required is.. you! Yes, you and your subconsious mind!

I will warn you, especially those new to the subliminal community: we do not condone the usage of problematic subliminals, such as race-changing (and the RCTA community), any underground subliminal, or subliminals glorifying trauma, abuse, etc. If you condone the usage of these subliminals, then leave this blog. You are not welcome here or in our Discord server. /srs

Manifesting -> Manifesting is the act of bringing something into this reality that you want. It's like a dream come true- say, you've manifested good grades, healthy hair, etc. There are several methods to manifest, but the most common one I've seen is manifesting with subliminals.

Affirmations -> Affirmations are positive statements that help reinforce your subconsious mind what you want to manifest. Things like "I will transform" and "I am a magical hero" are some! These are put into subliminals, but you can also create your own to make sigils, spells, etc.

Fantasy Shift Phase (F Shift) -> In fantasy shifting phase, you're planning out your aspects of your magical hero life, desired life, etc. This is where you create ideas for your magical hero concept. You can also create your subliminal playlist in this phase.

Mental Shift Phase (M Shift) -> In mental phase, you're changing your mental (and sometimes physical) state to think like a magical hero. This can be doing good deeds for others, watching magical hero shows, physically training, etc! You're preparing for your future as a magical hero. Acting as if and roleplaying are two common ways magical heroes mentally shift!

Phantom Shifting (Ph Shift) -> Phantom shifting is where you feel the sensation of being a magical hero, however, you haven't fully transformed yet. This can come in the form of feeling sensations of your outfit, weapons, etc while in civilian form. Some magical heroes don't count phantom shifting as its own phase since it's more of a term to describe sensations you feel.

Astral Shift Phase (A Shift) -> Astral shifting is where you see your magical hero form in the astral plane, either by phantom shifting or astral projecting. There's little information on how to astral shift, but don't let that discourage you!

Physical Shift Phase (P Shift) -> Also known as "full results", physical shifting is where you physically transform into a magical hero! You've completed a journey and are beginning another one! Congratulations <3

Fictional Other (F/O) -> Fictional others are signifigant others being manifested into this reality from a fictional source. They can be human, nonhuman, etc! I see a lot of magical heroes do this, so I thought it'd be nice to add (psst, to all those selfshippers out there manifesting f/o's, you are so valid and your partner loves you more than anything in this world <3)

I did not expect hostility over my Flat Chest mod, so I'll half acknowledge it and kill some of the assumption before they take roots in other people's minds

No, I did not make this mod *because* I refuse to support Na's flat chest mod

Initial Mod idea was a working "binder" for Fem, something you'd equip to flatten the chest- like a real life binder, basically. It's part of my To-Do list of June, for Pride

The mod evolved as I got more ideas, I also started working on a body replacer, it's basically ready to ship as well, but I decided against it; not to step on toes and causing confusion with two "flat chest" body mods, knowing there is also another one in the work from a fellow modder

(the binders themselves will come much later, and will be available for both fem and masc body frames!)

Again, the mod started as a "binder"- I mentioned it multiple times, either in servers where I started sharing the idea, and in the tags of my mod post

"Binders" are not costumes. They are gender affirming aid, something a lot of person use; I've made a couple of "wearable" / "switchable" body parts mods in the past already, including a trans masc vagina, I really hope you don't see this as a costume as well?

In the universe of Cyberpunks, implants and synth skin are used by everyone, for all kind of purpose; GNC people, trans people and gender-fluid people would probably use implants and cyberware to sculpt themselves, feel comfortable in their body

Who's to say some rich citizen wouldn't have some fancy switchable body pieces- hell it's even canon in game, Mr.Stud and Mrs.Midnight? Switchable boobs are already a thing, I don't see what's wrong with switching up for a flatter chest

The survey's results aren't out yet, so I couldn't know. But that's beside the point, as my mod isn't a "bandaid" for any issue this fandom may have

If the name is causing trouble, I'm open to changing it; but the main goal, again, was to flatten the vanilla fem V chest, and I think "flat chest" is pretty straight forward for nexus users

Everyone is different and handle their own space differently, and I do not want to support people who did me, or my friends, any serious mental health damage. Be it from harassement, witch hunt and whatnot

I won't be dragging in there old drama from 2 years ago, but I simply won't support someone who tried to get a friend of mine fired from their work place, threatening to send a 30+ pages google doc to their leads and boss, and dragging all of their personal beefs to the public on multiple social medias. They ruined my friend's mental health, and I simply won't forgive nor forget.

That is my right. And I wish people would accept and respect that.

I won't tell anyone who to support or what mod to use/not use, NOBODY should tell you what to do, what to support, who to like or dislike; and nobody can control who I must support and what I must do. Simple as that

I listened to Labour by Paris Paloma on loop while I was planning and researching her design lol and this one is responsible for a google doc I made where I tried my best to make a timeline pre-peachyville events just so I could figure out which 1900s decade her clothes should be based off of (late 1940s, early 1950s btw)

I imagine her being completely opposite to our Trudy clothing wise, but still maintaining her signature color, Pink! She is also engulfed in Tucker's signature color, Aqua, to symbolize the hold he has on her... speaking of Tucker...

the Trouts !

this might be a long one, I'm sorry in advance...

so... first of all, I know in the ep 13 episode art Tucker and the robot kids are shown as being poc, but I completely forgot about that, and I designed them like you see now... I hesitated sharing the designs because of that and maybe evaluating changing them. Then ep 16 came out and in the episode art Tucker isn't a poc anymore so I said fck it I'm keeping the designs especially because I loved them.

Ok, with that out of the way, let me explain my thought process.

Tucker, and consequentially Lil Tuck and Tiffany's, signature color is Aqua because that color is very science-y to me. I also made the three of them really pale because 1) basement and 2) robot vibes.

Design wise, Lil Tuck and Tiffany are almost exact copies of Tucker and each other to hint at the fact they're robots and add a sense of uncanniness to them. Timmy, being the actual human child, is the complete opposite and has much more prominently not just Trudy's signature color (but darker to symbolize his detachment from her) but also her features like her skin tone, hair color, and nose. (I'm a sucker for angst, so imagining the ep 13 scene where Timmy rejects our Trudy while looking a lot like her was an image too enticing to ignore).

these two are the latest characters i've designed !

for their facial features, I just recreated Francis in Sims 4 and then used the DNA feature to make his parents and boom !! my reference is born...

So, to me, Francis signature color is Red because of all the macho man violence influence things, and it felt very fitting to add that color to his parents too ! Although, I made them very purple-y as well and here is my epic reveal...

Any Peachyville character I design that has Purple as a prominent color is part of the Bisons and/or Project Heartland. (Tucker has a lot of purple on him too, if you look back... including his glasses)

And anyone with purple as a subtle color in their design is connected or has been affected by those groups

oh also I know the Spiral mark is supposed to be on Kamonwan's hand, but uuh I vetoed that because I wanted her to be able to hide it, and it felt weird giving her gloves so now it's under her sleeve jaja (and Ed's is on his chest ofc)

Have you ever wanted to practice having multiple drafts for your writing, but didn't know how to go about it, like I did? Do you find your drafting process really daunting or tedious? Are you a "low spoons" writer who can only pick at their work in chunks at a time? If any of these resonate, then this little tip I've come up with just might work for you.

Mind you - I'm not some great celebrated author, fanfic or otherwise. I don't write very often, either. But one thing I've learned in life is to explore alternative ways and formats to do things to make it more intuitive for you, and this way works for me - and for all of the more prolific writers in my social circles that I've shared this idea with, it seems to make a lot of sense to them. So take it with a grain of salt, but hopefully if it doesn't exactly work for you, it'll at least inspire you to shake up your writing approach to streamline it for you!

There's a long walkthrough of how I do it under cut, but the summarized tip is:

Rather than editing the whole piece at once, I paste it into a fresh doc one paragraph or so at a time, only adding the next part once I'm satisfied with my rework.

This prevents the work from feeling overwhelming with a wall of text to have to edit, as well as makes it easier to tell where I have worked and where I left off.

This also prevents me from being too attached to the idea of forcing the paragraph to align with the upcoming ones - it's good to keep the gist, but if I see the future parts I get fixated on how to connect point A to point B. Removing "point B" means I can focus all my attention on rehauling Point A, and I can hook it up to Point B once I'm ready to edit or add to B.

A new document also gives me a "work table", where I can put the sentences and words and bits I like anywhere on the document I want until I'm ready to address them.

All in all, it reduces the amount of rigid structure without forcing me to freeform it - which, as someone with bad memory, is not optimal. I also can choose to Kill Some Of My Darlings, but keep others that just needed that little extra polish.

So.... How does this process for my "second drafts" look? :3

STEP ONE: pick your first/early draft of choice, of course!

This was my pick to make an example out of - very first draft of a piece for my pmd/pla oc Ritsu, I like the concept but even when writing it this opening just felt so. Blah. I've been a few months away from it so perfect opportunity to revisit and fix it up!

Also - I'm in google docs (/deragotory) but this will work literally in any writing program so don't worry too much about what you're using vs what I'm using.

STEP TWO: Make a new document!

Cool! .....But empty!

Personally, I put draft notes up top to help differentiate them. Also yep, separate docs is necessary for this process, at least temporarily. To avoid clutter I (re)move the earlier drafts once I'm done with them.

So all that said - let's fill this doc up!

STEP THREE: Slap that bad boy of an early draft into your new document using copypaste...

.....But only one paragraph at a time. Let's start with this one, and do the next steps before moving more in. I'll explain why later.

STEP 3.5 (optional): Put down brackets or some other visual cue to help tell your brain, "this is the old unedited stuff!!!"

You do not have to do this, but it helps a lot for what goes on next, and if you're like me and step away from your writing often, will give you an idea of where you left off in the drafting process.

I personally do Not recommend color-coding via highlighting or text color - you Could, but the next step typically involves shuffling things around, reordering things, adding new things, etc. So it'll become a visual mess pretty quickly and/or become redundant fast.

STEP FOUR: Let's dig in and start fixing up this paragraph into something worthy of being a part of our new draft! This is where the actual writing happens.

In this instance, I further isolated the first two sentences. I like the gist, but it really needs something More, and I can't worry about the following details until I get this down the way I like it. As you can see, I removed the sentence from bracket purgatory and closed the remainder-in-waiting back in. This visual helps me focus better on what I want to do.

Here's those two sentences after reworking them! In this case, I kept certain elements - nighttime, the "moon high in the sky", the fact that the pokemon in town are asleep - But have mix and matched them, padded out details, and entirely changed some phrasing. Phrases I didn't fully remove has just kind of gotten frankenstein'd around until I was much happier with their placement and added meat.

These are of course obvious changes when looking at before and after, but I figured outlining the changes won't hurt anything!

So now that I'm happy with the new opening sentences, I'm going to tackle the rest of the paragraph...

...Like so. As you can see, I've expanded one paragraph into about two, and restructured not just the information within, but also where paragraphs break. Now I'm much happier with the end result already! So onto the next step...

STEP SIX: rinse and repeat!

I keep doing this, paragraph by bracketed paragraph, until I run out of steam and need a break. When I do, I paste one last paragraph into the document, bracket it, and close the document out - that way it's there for me when I want to pick it up again later.

Also sometimes I pick a few paragraphs at a time, depending - mostly when it's all on the same concept.

That's the gist of it! Very simple despite me writing a novel with it. Like I said before, feel free to mix and match or experiment with it!

TELL ME ABOUT TED. Headcanons you have for him, anything... Can be silly or serious.

Someone... SOMEONE'S ASKING ME ABOUT MY HEADCANONS?! IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE SOMEONE'S ASKED ME ABOUT MY HEADCANONS!! HOLD ON, I MADE A DOCUMENT!! /ref/hj

In actuality, I did genuinely make a google doc. But it's not ready to be shared yet, so I'll share the highlights.

First off, the game manual lies. He is NOT 44. He's 33 at OLDEST. I kind of consider him more like 29/30. Just barely.

He grew up in South Carolina hehe, farm boy

Bisexual disaster but I think this is kinda just obvious.

He is the oldest between him and his 5 siblings!!! And adding onto this, he is SUCH a good older brother. I don't care if everyone else disagrees, he could be the worst man alive but the one good thing someone could say was that he took care of his siblings.

If you know Ayano from Kagerou Project, I think he's a lot like her when he's younger. Like 8/9 years old. He tried so hard to protect them all from their parents and keep them happy. He'd sacrifice so much for them, it's why he kinda,, went into the extreme of being so,, entitled as a grown up. Ykwim???

Just imagine. With the ice caves, moving without thinking to save the others before himself? His brain subconsciously doing what he knows best; sacrificing what he has for others.

Selflessness as a core trait for Ted, please.

Another thing relating to his siblings: He knows how to do ballet!! And he's REALLY good at it. He actually has a lot of fun doing it. One of his sisters wanted to, but she was too afraid to take lessons alone, so he went along with her in secret. Didn't get caught for years. (She stopped lessons once he got forced out of them)

He talks a little like a New-Yorker, or at the very least, that transAtlantic accent (yk like from the old movies?) to try and play off as that kind of guy like Great Gatsby.

His actual accent is Southern. Sometimes it slips out when he's like, extremely flustered/angry, but it's such a rare thing.

He can't stand the sound of someone crying, it immediately makes him angry. Take that, and yk, Ellen or Benny constantly crying... Yeaaaah. (This is also due to his siblings).

This is obvious, he forces himself into doing a lot of masculine things that he doesn't like to appear older/wiser/better, insert whatever word you wanna use that translates to "I am insecure about myself" lol

Okay this last one is really important to me and like. It. Needs its own special paragraph. He is a creative person in his soul. He loves to learn, he loves to write, he loves to read and dance and sing and draw and he has such a huge imagination and love for creativity. You can see it in his psychodrama with how it plays out like a full-blown Grimms Fairytale, the monster he imagined that no one else could see, the line in the radio drama "Am I the last storyteller, telling the last story...?"

He's a storyteller. He has so much to say and share, and he would've done something creative with his life if he had the option, but the abuse he faced and the societal expectations placed on him forced him to,, give it all up. Made him realize he could never have that. Which is why, at least in the game, AM chose him. Ted had so much potential to create, and just... gave it up. For seemingly nothing. Why wouldn't that make AM mad, who can't create, can't even imagine or wonder?

I have like, also. I have a somewhat-AU of Omori for the ihnm cast, and Ted takes the role of Basil. I think Dream Basil vs RW Basil fit a lot of what he is as a kid vs an adult, or at least aspects of both due.

((this is still in progress and development but)) Fish is my medic OC. He's like a brother figure to Jelly, had babysat her during childhood until teenage years. Their bond deepened when they reunited at the base where Fish worked, often met up and hang out in his office yapping about her latest hyperfixations, ships and anime.

Simon Ghost Riley

Jelly first got to know Ghost by inspecting his weapons. She was impressed by how perfectly maintained they were so she didn't think too much of his reputations and rumours. But the moment she met him she thought he was here to take her out LOL xD she can’t believe they ended up together to this day.

Eira Raven Liu [OC]

Raven saved Jelly's life without Jelly's knowledge (for reasons yet to be discussed), pulled the right strings here and there, vouched for her skills and landed her a spot as a weapon specialist + tech unit for the team. Jelly sort of sees Raven like her senior (calling her "senpai") and elder sister kind of vibe.

Kate Laswell

is terrified but thankful for her because of the whole "don't fk with me" vibe Kate has, but eventually realized how supportive she could be and got along well. Kate’s even invited her over for dinner a few times with her wife, which still blows Jelly’s mind :3

John Price

Jelly admires Price for being, well—John motherflipping Price. But let’s be real what she really can’t get over is him and Raven as a couple LMAO she’s their #1 fangirl and is not subtle about it, wrote a few fanfictions inspired by their dynamic too HAHA

Kyle Gaz Garrick

Partner for field setups and troubleshooting, they're pretty chill cause of how Gaz is able to share jokes with her.

John Soap Mactavish

Wondered if Ghost and him are-was a thing, is not bothered by it if they were (it's not like she already have a few google doc opened writing about two characters inspired by Ghost and Soap-)

Soap calls her Jellybean sometimes, I think they're chill too.

Alejandro Vargas

Flustered around Alejandro because she thinks he's drop dead gorgeous, has a hard time forming complete sentences whenever he’s nearby (yes, Ghost is silently jealous about it)

and for Raven, she's knows almost all the COD characters given her background and access to information, though she chose not to meet some of them. Note, these aren't arrange based on closeness since it's hard to show it, just more like people she has been involved with some comments xD

John Price

I could go on and on and on about them but I'll keep it simple. Currently, Price is Raven's fiancé, they've build their relationship from shaky grounds with many many downs and mistakes, but she'll take a bullet for him anytime. They've reached a point of codependency at this point I guess.

Kate Laswell

As someone who has history with intelligence work, she's cautious with CIA agents. It rubbed her the wrong way when Kate managed to dig up fragments of Raven's past, things she'd rather buried it six feet underground. I guess she felt intrusive about it even though she expected something like to happen. Despite this though, Raven doesn't hate Kate, she respects her for what she does. She prefers to keep Kate at arm's length, their relationship is civil but Raven tends to keep it professional.

Kyle Gaz Garrick

Gaz was the first to know about Raven from Price, and was there during her treatment of her back injury, so they're sort of solid buddies then.

Jelly [OC]

Raven has always struggled to express her affection for Jelly, not out of lack of feeling, but because she’s never been one to show her emotions easily. There’s something about Jelly that pulls at Raven in a way no one else ever has. Raven sees a reflection of herself in Jelly—someone who had the brains and abilities that would've surpasses her if it wasn't for the mission that severely wounded Jelly's nerves. It’s a side of herself Raven doesn’t often recognize in others. As such, she is extremely protective of Jelly. Let's just say the conversation with Ghost was uhhh....intense? xD (knives were involved and a clear message was sent)

Raven: really? him? Jelly- Jelly: He's uh....he's nice!!! Raven: *long sigh*

Simon Ghost Riley

Rocky af start, neither of them trust each other. Ghost didn't like the fact that Price is tying himself to someone with blacked-out background (as if he isn't "mysterious and dangerous" himself). Ngl, they kinda chill off with Price as the bridge between them. Surprise surprise, they would take the bullet for each other """""for the sake of Price"""""" (they’d never admit it out loud, and they certainly wouldn’t acknowledge that they actually care for one another)

Farah Karim and Hadir Karim

Raven’s time in Urzikstan with her PMC meant she was aware of Farah’s retaliation efforts, was there to witness the Captive mission whilst on watch duty for Lieutenant Price. Raven respects Farah’s resilience but doesn’t align with her ideologies—especially the decisions Farah makes regarding missiles in MW3. As for Hadir, Raven sees him as a wildcard, someone driven by emotion rather than strategy (in her eyes anyways), so she's kinda meh about the siblings.

Vladimir Makarov

Raven’s had dealings with Makarov in the past, thanks to Viktor (Raven's step-dad who owns the PMC Cobra) assigning her to handle transactions involving him. She's...well she was intrigued with Makarov’s unpredictable nature and considers him dangerous—not just to others, but to anyone who gets caught up in his plans. Though she doesn't agree whatever the hell he was doing afterwards.

John Soap Mactavish

Raven and Soap are…fine(?) There’s no bad blood between them, but there’s also no real bond. They’re more colleagues than friends. Raven respects Soap for being part of Price’s world, but their connection is more about Price than anything else (basically witnessed the real effect of Soap's supposedly death in MW3 on Price)

Nikolai

Raven knows Nikolai through Chimera. They’ve crossed paths during missions, though she doesn't know if he recognizes her. Their relationship is more functional than personal. Still, she recognizes him as someone who’s good to have on your side (has seen the uh...has seen Nikolai's "working" mode)

bonus: Raven from the Metropolitan Police Service (I think he's SAS too - ah you know the dude who told off Gaz??)

Gaz told Raven Liu about this Raven, laughed about it, dug up his history and went "you did not just compared me with this guy"

CanonxCanon pairings are my go-to. I likely won't write CanonxOC. MxM is preferred, but I'll do FxF and FxM in the right circumstances.

I will only double if I like both pairings.

I will not write with self-inserts or people who heavily project onto their muses.

I like writing smut. An ideal roleplay would contain a 50/50, 60/40, or even 40/60 plot-to-smut ratio. Additional info under the read more!

Lazy lit. I tend to match my partner's length; I'm happy with anything from a single paragraph to novella as long as it moves the story forward.

At least one reply a week, usually. It really depends on the length of our posts and how busy I happen to be. I do not require a certain frequency of replies from you. If you can only reply a few times a month, that's absolutely fine.

PLEASE BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE. If you don't like something we're writing, let me know. If you're unable or unwilling to communicate, we are not a good match as writing partners. If a month goes by with no ic or ooc communication from you (and you've been online frequently) I WILL delete our server.

I like making friends with ya'll!! I enjoy sharing music, pinterest boards, etc that remind me of our ship; I love gaming and watching movies together once we get to know each other!

Vanilla smut is fun. Kinky smut is fun. BDSM is always optional. I don't have a preference.

I'm not interesting in writing with people whose characters are strictly bottoms or subs (in MxM and FxF). It's boring to me. My characters will want to both top and bottom at some point and although they may lean one way or another (ask about specific preferences), I find only writing one position in a roleplay incredibly limiting and it gets stale fast.

I prefer femdom in MxF pairings if BDSM is involved whether I'm writing the male or female character.

Limits: Scat, ageplay, mommy/daddy kink, pregnancy, omegaverse, feet, feminization, non-con.

oh my goodness thank you so much everyone for all the continued support on the og post 😭😭 i'm going very slowly but i honestly am thinking about this project all the time so i'm glad so many people also like the idea!!

as promised, here's some questions i have regarding the transition from screen to text. feel free to reblog or reply under this post, or even message me directly! i don't mind anything!

★ How do you all feel about deleted scenes?

(referring to these ones specifically, in case there's others i don't know of)

should they be added/kept or excluded? should some be kept and others not? and optionally: why do you think so?

★ How objective to the film should it be?

this one sounds crazy because obviously it should be the same. but i mean more about the depiction/treatment of women and borderline cultural appropriation - should loyalty to the film take priority? or could the rewrite benefit from something else in place of these things? or some secret third option?

it's a good film, but not without faults. i don't necessarily want to keep the less desirable aspects of it, but i also don't want to sacrifice elements that tie into important character arcs and such.

(just to be clear: i AM taking from the film! the only thing i plan to take from the book is a loose idea of how to break up the chapters. and i'm not even looking at the script)

★ How should this be released to the public?

this is REALLY far in the future so i'm not too worried about it yet haha

my only ideas are either posting to ao3 or sharing a google doc/drive link. if anyone knows of something else, please let me know and i'll definitely consider it 🙏 above all, i want to make this free for anyone to read and share!

★ "How can I help?"

i'm not intending to do this entirely solo; i'd love to eventually have some extra eyes and minds on deck to make this the best it can be! but knowing me, i'll wait as long as i can handle until i begin asking for assistance :,)

when the time comes, i'll reach out individually to people who express(ed) interest in helping out! but again, this will probably happen pretty far in the future.

in the meantime, i'm always open to input about absolutely anything, whether it was mentioned in this post or not! reply, message, send an ask, etc and i'll respond as quickly as i can! this goes for any questions you may have as well!

during this process i will give updates on general progress! at the time of writing this, i'm about halfway through typing down the events of the film and breaking it down into chapters (which is probably unnecessary, but it helps a lot with getting my bearings) - this is what im calling my outline. i might continue with the outline or i might begin properly writing a scene or two next, who knows.

i'm kind of completely winging it. i've never done anything like this before. i am being propelled by pure vibes. but i will commit to this and figure it out. "carpe diem, even if it kills me," if you will

Hello! I go by Kris and this is my sideblog where I primarily post about my FFXIV character, Tavi! I've been playing FFXIV since July 24th 2021 (also Tavi's birthday! >:3c)

So what to expect?

I love to gpose and make glams so this is a very image heavy blog. I've been shipping her with Erenville since 2022 so you'll see a lot of him on here as well! When discussing him on here I’ll usually refer to him as “Eren” as both a nickname and to refer to my OC-ified version of him. I also like to occasionally post about Aymeric, and once Zero rejoins MSQ I'm sure I'll be talking nonstop about them as well! I do my best to spoil current expac content and use the hashtag #dawntrail spoilers for that. Although rare, I will reblog NSFW so there's a risk of seeing that (spoiler-ed of course.) I also love to be a silly jokester so I do goof off a lot! I’m WCIF friendly on most everything I post and am always happy to share any knowledge I can on gposing so if you have any questions feel free to ask! I also tag any info with #gpose refs.

And now for a little info on Tavi!

Tavi is a Rava Viera from Golmore who left her home to help fight back against Garlean imperialism after receiving her first echo vision, a vision of the invasion and creation of Valnain. Originally born with a hair color best described as a mix between salmon and coral, the light corruption she experienced during Shadowbringers left her natural hair pigment and freckles devoid of color (she also lost her ear speckles during this and had vision problems afterwards and those have been healed though she occasionally still has issues.) Post Endwalker she began dying her hair blue, an accident that was meant to be a darker hair color as is traditional for Viera leaving the jungle. The two other physical identifiers not in game would be her cleft chin and scar on her face post Endwalker Zenos fight. Her real name is unknown to all outside her home in Golmore and like most Viera, questions about her life before are forbidden. She is known to on occasion open up and may share an anecdote or two with those she's close to. That said, she is a very warm and friendly person who will always go out of her way to help those in need. Her alignment would be chaotic good as she is not above breaking the law to do what she feels is right. She can also be mischievous and is a lot more complex than she lets on! Her main class is Monk but in Endwalker took up Paladin (which she still uses in Monk) and afterwards started infusing the Dancer trade into her Monk job. Her fighting style is heavily inspired by Kalaripayattu, her Monk style would be a mix of that and Capoeira and her Paladin style mixes that in with Chinese Sword Dancing. A good visualizer of what her sword fighting style would look like is Xiangshua from Soul Caliber!

Most importantly Tavi is my googoo gaga and I love her so so very much!!!

This is not an ask per se, it's more like my overall thoughts about the wip titles you showed But I would love if you could share some more info 👀

1. What's up with concussions and head injuries? Why is everyone getting hurt? I'm a tad bit worried ngl 😟 lol

2. What Og doesn't see is such an enticing title

Og as in original? As in what the original material does not cover? Or Og as in Ogasawara? I certainly don't know but sign me up for either.

3. The combination poly > aftercare > power is doing things to my brain (many thoughts, head full)

and 1. LMAO SORRY YEAH I do love injuries. I love sickfic and whump, and the hrkg fandom is SEVERELY lacking in it. But I'm also indecisive, and I've been kind of trying to embrace that? It's difficult in a normal doc to do branching routes, but google docs' new tab function is really letting me go wild with trying out various ways things can go.

Head injuries are one way to get characters in a certain weakened state that I really like to see. I'm not here for the blood, I'm here for characters trying to pretend they're fine, for collapsing into another's arms, for the people who care about them freaking out but also stepping up to take care of them!

also uh. uh, so, other tabs (plus their subtabs) that include injuries are earthquake, storage shed, bar, plane, and fighting bullies (obviously)

2. The Og stands for Ogasawara there! That's actually just a teeny tiny little thing. I talked to friends about literally utilizing AO3's hovertext function to sneak in a sort of bonus that wouldn't make sense to put into the fic since it's from Ogasawara's POV. It's tough because manga really lets you do a lot of stuff in the background--hrkg and ssmy specifically utilize this a lot!--or reveal things that the characters don't see like the expression another character makes while their back is turned. So I'll think of scenes with that in mind, but then I can't write it. Figuring out how to reveal those details or what will simply go unknown to the reader is part of the fun of writing, but I kind of wanted to try including them.

3. listen i read the poly fics on ao3 and my brain went WILD. The tabs don't necessarily go in any kind of order, though, lmaoo "power" is like. Either it would be part of what's written in "poly" or part of a separate scene/chapter/fic. "poly", "aftercare", and "grocery 2" are actually all part of the Hirano subdrop exploration.
