still don't know if it's legit or not, im just posting this so i can come back to it later, but multiple sources across multiple platforms (reddit, twitter, discord, youtube, etc.) are claiming to have seen TADC on netflix earlier today, under 'worth the wait'. it seems to only be a US (and maybe UK?) thing, and it's since been taken down after people started posting about it. did anyone here see it while it was apparently still up?

there was apparently a link to the preview, which eventually turned into a "lost your way?" page. but now, it just redirects you back to netflix's home page. some people are also claiming TADC was only visible on the tv and app versions of netflix, not pc.

at first, i thought this was just a very well done photoshop with some decent editing skills, but with at least 7 different people over multiple platforms with photo/video/screenshots of it happening, it's hard to think it could be fake. the images all show different netflix title lineups, and having to edit together that many individual images and videos for a bit seems like a lot of effort.

we've been reassured that TADC will remain free on youtube (cube said it in the glitch inn) after this news came out, but there was no clarification on whether this news is legit or not, which.... if it was fake, id assume that would be an easy "no, this isnt real" answer, right? but we didnt get that?

what concerns me the most is that glitch has said they didnt want to partner with streaming services in the past, so why would they be changing their mind now? would this just be a 'netflix hosts the show but has no input' deal, or would netflix now have involvement with the show's production?

if this is real, i can at least hope it's that first option. as stupid as it is to host a FREE show on your PAID streaming service, as long as theyre not involved with TADC, i dont care what netflix does. theyd be paying glitch money to host it, and that money would go towards show production. seems like a win-win situation for both parties, as dumb as it sounds.

but in the end we still dont have any answer on if it's real or not. we'll just have to wait for either glitch, netflix, or someone else involved to clarify the truth. maybe it's all fake, and someone really did go through the effort to edit together this many photos and videos, and have that many alt accounts.

i just wanted to post this here, both so if it's fake we can at least respect the effort put in, and just in case anyone here on tumblr saw it before i could (all this happened before i woke up this morning, so i didnt get a chance to check netflix myself).

Though edgar doesn't get a musical number to play into being someone to sympathize with, already being in an "estrogen would've saved him" mindset from joking about it makes me think about losing his mom early hardening n aging him, living with a dad also grieving, feeling a similar pressure to succeed at business that his mom must've, you can construct the through-line to the point of the shackles of masculinity driving him to a point of hurting those around him in the ways he does. And that being able to be a truer version of himself could've saved him

I finally built up the courage to make a post myself so here we go 🤪

But in the bmc fandom no one can agree on rich’s real personality. Is he over the top chaos? Is he soft and calm? Well i pulled up my english analysis skills and decided to english analysis the SQUIP song and give you some unnecessary essay

Alright before we get into the analysis, i want to mention that i believe rich was abused by his dad growing up as he drinks and it seems stereotypical for the bully character to have a bad home life and we all know the bmc characters are built on stereotypes. Now according to a google search teachers are told to look out for things like bad hygiene, back chat, aggression as they can be indications of abuse/neglect

When listening to the squip song i felt like some of it was the squip trying to relate to Jeremy’s problems. We do even see the SQUIP do this in the broadway version by getting Jeremy to tell rich his dad drinks. So some of the lines you got to take with a pinch of salt as it can just be the squip trying to relate

On that note

Freshman year didnt have a girlfriend or a clue i was a looser just like you

This is not too relevant to rich’s character and seems to be going off of what Jeremy was singing in More Than Survive. The squip just saw him sign up for the play and interact with Christine. So to immediately open with this line makes it seem less personal to Rich and more trying to appeal to Jeremy

This however is Rich. Jeremy actually doesn’t want to be popular, he enjoys Michael company. He gets the SQUIP to not be a total loser cause he wants to avoid ridicule. so right now i can infer that rich probably didn’t have any or many friends. We was probably desperate to be included and join in on teenage good times.

As i mentioned at the top, i believe rich was abused so i feel like this may be a nod to that.

This is one of the most important lines. As earlier on its says he is gross with no friends so how is he even managing to get girls numbers? This may be a leap but call me the doodle jump guy thing but i feel like rich was very funny. He was probably the type of guy to talk back to teachers and when kids are picking fun of him he probably made jokes about himself to try and join in on the fun. While that didn’t get him friends it probably got him a few nice or insecure girls (brook??) but he was too awkard or nerdy or too… sexual to get anywhere with them

The squip does not completely change your personality

Atleast what we see through Jeremy is that the squip just hides your flaws and plays up your strengths. Like Jeremy did remain somewhat awkard and geeky; crying about eminem, being a robot to the halloween party etc

So we can look at how rich acts with the squid which will reveal how he was before

Rich is the funny guy in the popular kid circle, hes the one shouting GAY and picking on kids and messing with jenna. More evidence for funny guy rich.

BUT that would suggest that rich probably always had a bit of a violent streak-

All characters have flaws and rich was that he probably was quick to hop on to picking on kids on the same level as the high school food chain as him in hopes of getting friends and boosting his status. Definitely not to the extent he would now cause he was probably too weak but he definitely wasn’t nice at least verbally when it suited him.

This probably was his downfall really as if he was nicer to the losers he probably would of been friends with them

Now rich is my fav character as you could prolly guess and i don’t really like the idea of rich being a meanie without the squip SO

We could go for a nice little alternative and say that he would fight with kids picking on him. Maybe he had mad reflexes from his abusive dad and would smack up kids who touch him or do that think fast thing or something :)

What's the craziest, most off-the-wall thing that's ever happened at your rehabilitation center?

ohhhhh...hmmmmm, probably that like. Evil Hole.

so like, this was a bit ago, around when i first started posting n stuff. i liveblogged it but like, it was old and not a lotta people followed me so idk how many people even saw it, so i dont mind giving a summary since its probably hard to find

sooooo it all started, like most good stories do, with the protagonist (me) being an idiot. i accidentally used pokenip instead of loose tea leaves to brew some tea. im not even a big tea drinker!!!! its just fun to sometimes!!!!!

anyways i get kinda loopy and decide to go on an adventure. which basically means i blindly wandered around in the uncharted parts of the island for a few hours. eventually, i found this bigass creepy hole in the ground in a spot i swore i already passed before. me, being the same person who a few hours prior injested a psychoactive substance on mistake, decided to jump in!

uhhm.. i think i passed out after that? someone used pelipper mail to give me some peanut butter at some point so at least i wasnt hungry, but i of course dont know how to fly and there were no footholds to climb back up. by this time i had sobered up and realized ah, shit, huh, this isnt right now is it?

buuut the only way out was forward.

at this point i check if i have any pokeballs on me. luckily i had one. my gliscor had decided to playfully chomp on my nose earlier in the day so i balled him to calm him down, and now he was my only companion here. guess its a good thing hes a bit of an idiot. like pokemon like trainer, nyahaha.

uh, anyways, we kinda just. walk in the only available direction. and this cave system is like, way bigger than I thought. lotsa passages, lotsa dead ends and drops to unknown depths. but we eventually find a pokemon! but, like, its weird. its a carbink but it isnt right. its crystals are orange, its eyes are empty. it leads us to somd sort of.... colony? mostly consisting of more carbink and some sableye. none of them were right, man. in the center of their... village(?) was a giant version of the crystal thst grew out of the carbink and sableye. a sickly orange hue... like a sunset but Evil.

they were pretty hospitable things considered.... but not much for conversation. barely responded when i asked things. the sableye were... eerily still. if you know anything about that species you know they never stand still. everything moved like clockwork, like, like a hivemind. every day at around the same time theyd all gather and stare at the center crystal and just.... chant. droning on for who knows how long.

they let me walk about freely enough, but one area was off limits. i had a sinking feeling that, maybe that was the exit. or maybe there was something there that i needed to see. so i waited for their chanting session and snuck behind them all. Bane took out the only sentry they had for me carefully and quietly descending from the roof of the cave. felt like a secret stealth mission. woulda been fun if... yknow.. what happened next hadnt happened.

behind where they didnt want me to see was my poor charizard. he was not in good shape at the time. he... i knew he wasnt around a day or two but... plenty of my roaming pokemon liked doing their own thing. i didnt know he was in trouble. i didnt know. it was my fault. he was covered in those crystals, they were *eating* him.

i remember hearing an alarm and the crystalized pokemon gathering behind us. i remember bane trying to get my attention. i remember staring blankly and i remember screaming how they hurt him and... then i dont remember anything else.

alistair, my roommate and occasional pain in the ass, found me after he claimed he heard an "explosion. the cave system had completely collapsed." bane, char and i were fine, but all unconcious. i.. i dont know what happened exactly but. i think i did something. i think i may have hurt those pokemon. it wasnt their fault i think those cystals were controlling them and i killed them and i dont even remember doing it i dont even know what exactly happened

ive been on the lookout for those weird rock cystal things again. for a while some stuck on my hands but eventually they fell off, guess my hands didnt have room for more weird stuff on them, kihihi. my pokemon all have a buddy system now and have to report nightly to be sure theyre all alright if they roam

we all survived at least. char cant fly anymore though. its my fault.

so this is my take on the prompt.. i saw 'together|apart' and i waws like FUSION ARC FUSION ARC FUSION ARC

So this is the fusion of Mista and Narancia, dubbed Mistancia. He/him, aged at around 17.5, about 5'7.5" tall give or take, and user of the Stand 「Bird Of Prey」, which is functionally essentially a homing missile that, instead of heat-seeking, tracks CO2 emission. It's more 'rocket launcher' oriented than revolver-oriented. The 'gun' he's holding there is actually a part of that big launcher on his back there.

it's a bit overkill but thats half the fun. "what are you gonna do, shoot me?" "WORSE."

and heres the limbancia version plus some bonus mistancia x limbo interaction stuff. i was gonna also draw limbos fusions with the boys plus the triple fusion of all three but i didn't get around to it so for now I have this:

Mimbo, the fusion of Limbo and Mista, and their Stand 「Mighty Wings」, which, combining 「Cloud Nine」's signal disruption and 「Sex Pistols」' trajectory alteration, has the ability to redirect signals. I'm not sure where Mimbo got the tits. they don't know either but their hair is literally perfect

I don't have an image of Nimbo, the fusion of Narancia and Limbo, yet, and I don't want to show my friends pic of them without their go-ahead, so for now I'll just describe them:

Nimbo (also called 'Nimbus') Narancia + Limbo, they/them, 17 years old, approximately 5'4.'5", Stand is 「Hard On The Knees」 (also considered 「Fly Away」) and I'm not completely sure what it does but it probably has some limited control over CO2 rather than just detecting it..

Finally, the triple fusion (Minarimbo? Limarista? Mistarimbo?) has 「Free Bird」. He/they, about 17.5, ~5'7, I don't know what the Stand does.

I also saw that he was married to Mar'i and i immediately texted my bff "WHY IS THERE SO MUCH INCEST IN COMICS". And then about 2 hours later found out about Dick and Helena (canonically had feelings for each other but didnt act on it BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE INCEST. A Dick did get together with a reboot non-Wayne version of her)

So i actually really only researched names and am just now (literally. Im on my second person rn lol) looking into what verse they're from and which hero/villain they all are. From the initial research (aka me reading about 15 articles that labeled and listed Bruce's kids) Damian, Tallant, and Ibn have the same parentage; Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul. I did read a argument explaining why Damian and Tallant are different people and not just alternates of each other (dif personalities and physical appearances).

As for Ibn i assumed the same but have to admit ive not looked into him yet (ngl i made the post just to make the "legally, biologically, or emotionally?" joke). Im actually not quite sure if Ibn is his name or not as it translates as a title ("Son of the Bat" to go along with Ra's' "Head of the Demon"). If its just a title/epithet it would make sense to see him as a alt Damian. If its his actual name we're back in that "idk. Maybe?" category of Character Counterparts.

One list that was recommended to me for its accuracy by a few others did list Ibn as a alt Damian. Personally im hoping Ibn is a different character solely because i dont want to think theres a version of Damian who married his niece and had two kids with her (Dick is officially adopted which makes Dick legally his brother and Mar'i legally his niece. I really hope there isnt a giant age gap as well)
