A Crack in the Door (Hannigram Fanfic)
AO3 link :)
Hannibal becomes tired of other serial killers consuming Will's mind. Under the guise of providing stability, Hannibal guides Will into taking on Hannibal's perspective. Hannibal gets more than he bargained for when Will realizes the depth of Hannibal's feelings–and that Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper.
NBC Hannibal
Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter
20,312 words, 9/9 chapters, NOW COMPLETE!
Rating: M
Excerpt:
He hears Hannibal move closer to him in the dark. The soft rustling of fabric. The gentle disturbance of air, caressing Will’s face. The scent of honeysuckle and cedar. Sweeter than he would have expected. Will breathes deep. He opens his eyes, expecting to see Hannibal’s faint outline, but he’s still disarmed by the dark. “Sometimes you need someone else to do what’s good for you.” With a smooth rustle, Hannibal pulls back. Will realizes the man had been leaning over him. Will chuckles dryly as Hannibal settles into the chair across for him, lighting a lone candle in the dark. Whatever Hannibal is for him, it sure as hell isn’t good.
Vibes: Tense, saturated, amorous, erotic, unhinged

So, I just finished reading Lost Light, and with it, pretty much the whole idw series.
I feel happy, sad, crashed and ecstatic all at once. I'm going to miss hearing all the stories of the characters who became so personally close to me. It's been ling since there was a story that evoke so much emotions, both positive and negative, a story that could actually speak to me. This comic is an experience that i am happy to have found.
Might sound a bit cheesy, but i talk sincerely
And i'm looking forward to create something of my own, to watch all the fan universes that i like to think are the infinity of universes described in the comic. I think that the story is not ended, but rather continues with us
'till all are one!

Well! She was working on a fanfic for the 2023 KinnPorsche Big Bang (@kinnporschebigbang)! If that's something you're into, you can go read it now! It comes with a gorgeous piece of art by @zelenchai 😍 that everyone needs to see. You can read it on my A03 account!

Both mechanics and mech pilots understand machines as things to be interfaced with. Things that do exactly what they’re told, when you know how to tell them to do it.
What mech pilots don’t understand, though, is the intimacy of truly knowing a machine. Knowing exactly what everything in it does, knowing how it does and doesn’t like to be treated. As a mechanic, I know exactly what I have to do to start up a stubborn machine. Or, in an unfortunate circumstance, stop one. A mechanic understands a machine’s arteries, its blood, its guts. Things like this can’t work without us.
What mechanics don’t understand, though, is the intimacy of truly knowing a machine. Knowing exactly what every input node does, knowing what it does and doesn’t like to do. As a pilot, I know exactly what I have to do to squeeze the last bit of auxiliary power out of a machine— always just enough for us to get through. Or, in an unfortunate circumstance, how to push a machine too far past its limits, if I know we can’t both make it through. A pilot understands what it’s like to be the beating heart at the center of a machine. How to understand the machine as both a beast of its own, and an extension of yourself. These things just couldn’t work without us.
Unfortunately, machines both have to be maintained, as well as operated— so this beautiful mech is going to have to keep spending half its time with someone who doesn’t really understand it.

Summary: An alternative explanation for that cut-up dress.
Words: 1,485 Chapters: 1/1
---
This was my very first fanfic and I'm really proud of it. It was the reason I created an ao3 account. The story wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it and shared it.
It's the kind of fic that comes out of wallowing in the angst of it all. Don't be expecting the tone of At It Like Rabbits, is what I'm saying.

wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???
Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.
First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.
