Tales of Vesperia Blurays

hello to anyone who’s scrolling the vesperia tag! I have finally gone around to digitizing other vesperia materials I possess that aren’t.. really anywhere online. (i may have put this off for at least as early as when I scanned light novel stuff)

anyway. the drive folder im providing includes: the vesperia stage play!!, the 10th anniversary party!!, tales of homeroom: tov edition!!, first strike 2019 bluray version!!

just keep in mind the following: you’ll have to download the things to watch them. you’ll most likely need to watch them through VLC media too. and they’re all unsubbed because translation is really not my forte

if you’re seeing this post and havent in any form completed/seen the game then do beware spoilers being in there, proceed with your own discretion. other than that, have fun! if anyone wants to translate these (they are all RAWs after all) please feel free to :)

goes without saying that if there’s any errors (there’s only so much I can proof-watch at once), do let me know!

that all aside. here’s the Contents (details) :

-Tales of The Stage: Justice of Light and Shadow (2019). Includes disc 1 (the play itself), and disc 2 (bonus content included in the bluray itself. stuff with the actual stage actors and whatnot)

I have so many thoughts on the stage play and i consider it a worthwhile experience! its like a little treat (though the speedrun being done here to get as much main story content covered within 2.5 hours is a sight to behold LMAO) (and even then, the stage play diverts from the main story to a good degree :3c)

-Tales of Vesperia 10th Anniversary Party (2018), also known as the celebratory party that was done live with all the voice actors leading the show! it’s overall very sweet and charming. this includes 2 discs, each containing a recording of 2 different days when the party took place, if that makes sense. any other videos in the folder is the bonus segments included in the bluray too, in a similar fashion to the stage play

-Tales of Vesperia ~The First Strike~ 10th Anniversary Edition (2019), and Yes, we do have the movie available online, but i figured i could provide the bluray version that you would get if you got the definitive edition of the game in Japan. could make use for some HD screenshots perhaps.

the plus to the new bluray: it INCLUDES a 30 minute skit present on the disc as a bonus. im also providing the menu animation for the bluray since I somehow could rip that too and it looks pretty neat (:

-Tales of Homeroom, the two tales of vesperia episodes that you could only get through, again, the first strike bluray (2019). If you’ve seen some of the tales of HR videos uploaded on youtube, then you’ll know what this is about. if not, no fret! it’s just 2 tiny episodes centered around the vesperia cast on a vacation :)

the financial diet but specifically chelsea fagan: tfd is a financial advice web brand and one of the co founders often posts conversational advice listicles that are helpful albeit repetitive if you watch enough of them over the years, but i think theyre the best content on the channel which does sometimes fall into an unrelatable yuppie trap. her rants are especially good and the one posted most recently is great. i sort of think of her as a sensible older sister lol

im also gonna give a partial rec to hannah smokey glow, a haul/makeup/drama channel because she does seem to have very sensible takes on things and she has also recently posted some advice videos for creators that i found very helpful but she does have a very large consumerist/materialism streak which im not a huge fan of but i dont usually watch those videos of hers, although sometimes ill listen to her discuss makeup just for background noise even though idk anything about makeup

also ill go ahead and rec jackie aina even though i havent been watching her as much because i also find her videos good background noise that do leave me remembering some makeup tips for whenever i want to do that, plus she seems to know skincare and i found her night routine video helpful with understanding skincare. if youre into makeup or specifically are black/dark skinned and into makeup/watch gurus you’ve probably already heard of her. again though as a makeup influencer shes probably a bit more consumerist than i prefer but its a consequence of the genre.

i should also probably mention “what ive learned” since i watched him so much last year, he posts extremely detailed researched pieces about nutrition and science that actually explains the research and understandings involved with things like food and fitness in a way that is both extremely complex but also makes a lot of issues easier to understand. though obviously since the channel discusses things like food, diets, fitness, weight, and may sometimes imply losing weight is inherently healthy (iirc) theres a content warning there.

and while im posting youtube recs even since i never do, shout out to danny gonzalez and drew gooden, the commentary boys you probably already know, notably danny for his music and drew for his actual analysis of media- also jarvis johnson does some good work and i enjoy his skits and the effort he puts in.

also special shout out to james turner aka the sim supply because i havent watched him in a while but hes an incredible sims builder and one of the first sims channels i watched, this is dan bell who makes really cool videos exploring abandoned buildings whom id like to watch more of again after a while of not, and jack saint who ive seen a couple of great video essays from that id like to watch more of some time... What motivates you to go to school? I’m done with school, thank goodness.

How much caffeine have you consumed in one day? I used to always have coffee first thing and then a can of soda later on. Sometimes more coffee later that night. I haven’t had soda; though, in over year. Well, minus the sip I take with my medicine (I have to crush my pills and soda is the only thing I can take it with). Now I’m just about the coffee, twice a day. Nice, warm, big, delicious cups of coffee.

Are you more hyper and up-tight or laid back and relaxed? Hyper and upright don’t seem to go together in the way you paired these things, but I’d say I actually come off laid back to people who don’t really know me and probably just cause I’m pretty quiet, but really I’m more tense and anxious.

How did you pick out your last outfit? I just grabbed some leggings and a sweatshirt. Not much thought went into it.

Are you embarrassed to bring people into your bedroom? I would be now.

If you’re sick, do you go to school or do you stay home usually? It depended on how sick I was. Typically, I’d power through, but there were times where I just couldn’t. There were times in college before I had a pretty big surgery for something where I was sick a lot and went to school with a fever and chills. I’d have to pop some Tylenol before class, sometimes even during, and just push through. Weak me today can’t relate.

Does chicken noodle soup really make you feel any better? No.

What’s one meal that you like to eat whilst sick? Usually I’m not much into anything because my taste buds are all messed up and everything tastes bland. And then depending on what kind of sick I am, I may not want to eat anything, really. I have to force myself to eat toast or soup in times like that.

Late-night hosts on Moonlight’s Oscar win: America reaches ‘peak blackness’

Comics, including Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel, discuss the surprise awards victory of the low-budget drama and the gaffe that preceded the announcement

Late-night hosts Monday discussed the surprise best picture win for low-budget drama Moonlight, claiming America has reached peak blackness.

On The Daily Show, Trevor Noah spoke to comedian Roy Wood Jr, who explained what the phrase means.

Peak blackness is a rare metaphysical anomaly that can only occur when an amalgam of black excellence comes together at the same societal intersection, he said. He then translated: Its when a lot of dope black shit happens at the same time.

He then listed the recent events that have led up to this happening, such as Beyoncs pregnancy and the many films with actors of color that were nominated this year. We are operating at maximum levels of blacktivity that we havent seen in decades, he said. In reference to Jimmy Kimmels skit involving tourists meeting celebrities, he joked: You know Moonlight was winning because a brother from Chicago was taking selfies and touching peoples trophies.

He also said: The Oscars were so black, they were turning to Mel Gibson like hey, you just gone sit there or you gone do something?

On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert started by joking: Im La La Land. Sorry, I read that wrong, Im Stephen Colbert.

He discussed the dramatic end to the awards which saw the romantic musical accidentally named as best picture before a mistake was realized. It was the craziest ending to the Oscars since it turned out that Helen Mirren was Keyser Soze, he said.

When rewatching the clip, knowing what is going to happen, he said: Its like watching Titanic except Titanic actually won best picture.

He added: I feel bad for everybody in La La Land and the poor Moonlight people. It should have been a great moment for African Americans, but theres always a catch. Heres your Oscar but some white folks get to touch it first.

Making reference of the divisive reaction to La La Land, he joked: To make matters worse, while they were up on stage, Ryan Gosling explained jazz to them.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host of the ceremony referred to it as the weirdest TV finale since Lost.

He added: You know its a strange night when the word envelope is trending on Twitter.

During the announcement, Beattys confusion at the wrong envelope meant that he passed it to Faye Dunaway to read the winner. Clyde threw Bonnie under the bus, Kimmel joked.

He went on to say that the original end of the broadcast was set to see him sitting next to Matt Damon, with whom he has a long-running joke feud with. Whatever confusion there was over what won, Matt Damon lost, he said. He was a loser.

While on stage, during the confusion, Kimmel described his feelings. Im feeling bad for these guys but Im also trying really hard not to laugh, to be honest, he said.

As he walked off, people asked if it was a prank that he has engineered. If Id pulled a prank, I wouldnt have just had the wrong winners name on the envelope, when they opened it there would have been a Bed, Bath and Beyond coupon in the envelope, he said.
