BG3 Narrative Changes Post-Full Release

An update on the project I have been working on over the past weeks, to compile a record of all the narrative changes Larian has made to Baldur's Gate 3 post-Full Release — particularly those changes that have affected characterization. There are many of these changes that are not common knowledge, even among dedicated fans, simply due to the size of the game and the varied narrative pathways one can take.

As stated in my original post, this is a neutral project not meant to be either inherently supportive or critical of said changes, but merely to act as a record and reference for those who would like to be aware of them. Particularly with new fans always entering the fandom, I want them to be able to understand aspects of the story that are no longer present in the game, but might still be referenced and impactful to fandom discussions.

I will continue to update the log as I receive new submissions via the report form, and have the opportunity to verify to the best of my ability that the material in question was truly changed, as opposed to potentially bugged in some playthroughs, etc. If you are aware of any changes that you do not see on the spreadsheet, please submit a report form, as I am only one person, and cannot happen across all of the potential changes – especially with so many unannounced – on my own.

Res AU Joronia drawings. Character rambling and bonus doodles under cut.

This AU takes place a good while after the events of Triple Deluxe happened. Since then, Taranza's mostly recovered mentally from everything. He was able to move on from his grief and (somewhat) forgive himself. Now that Joronia's in his life again, seemingly back to her former self, some of those wounds he'd thought were fully healed have started to ache again. He still feels ultimately guilty for what happened to her.

He's thrilled that Joronia's been given a second chance at life, but is somewhat wary deep down. This feels to good to be true, that she's just back with seemingly no strings attached. The other shoe could drop any day now, and he could lose her all over again. Fearing this, he wants to make the most out of what could be a short time to be together again with his friend.

Joronia senses that there's a distance between the two of them now that wasn't there before. It shouldn't be surprising; he's probably still hurt from what she did. Other people definitely are. She's determined, though, to work hard to make it up to everyone she's hurt, and to prove to them (and herself) that she's not really like that, that she's capable of being better.

The Mirror's influence twisted her mind and her perception of reality. It made her feel like she was inadequate, and that everyone else were enemies to be subjugated. Now, she's supposed to be normal and better, but she still feels like there's something wrong with her head. She still doesn't feel good enough, and it still feels like everyone hates her. It's hard to trust herself. She's not sure if it's some lingering effect of the Mirror, or if there's just something inherently wrong with her now. She's scared.

She's afraid that something will happen, that she'll revert to how she was as Queen, and that she'll hurt Taranza again. Someone who'd always helped her, who'd stuck with her even when she was absolutely horrible to him, and who's kindness she's relying on again now, staying at his home as she worked on getting her life back together. She's a burden on him, and she always has been. She hates it.

Still, her deepest, most selfish wish is that they could be real friends again.

These two need to have a long, honest discussion about their feelings toward each other and themselves. Both of them are absolutely terrified about that prospect, though, because they each think that the other secretly resents them to some degree. If they actually talked through it, they'd quickly realize that they both want the same thing.

I made a found family au for Spider and my PC's I thought I'd share, mood boards included 🤭🤭🤭:

This is Spider's vibe in this au, nothing too different from canon. He's Eywa's little golden warrior. A ray of light on the land. Maybe a tad blessed, but mostly just himself. Spunky and bright and adventurous.

this is Sa'ana and A'nak. young lovers that have been forced around the Metkayina and Ta'unui Islands by love and the war, who will eventually settle in Awa'atlu.

Sa'ana is a ceremonial dancer of the Metkayina and Ta'unui villages. Her parents are Metkayina, while her husband's are Ta'unui. She is also a crafter known for her intricate she'll work and a surfer, a hobby she shares with her husband. She is around 20 at the start of her story.

A'nak is a younger scout, also around 20, and warrior of the Ta'unui, with ties to a long line of open ocean scouts who patrol on the outer edge of the reef. He met Sa'ana during one of his scouting runs where he would come to rest and trade for supplies in her village.

The baby was a product of teenage love and the fast pace of it all, which led them to being slightly unprepared for the tasks ahead, but they fast it together... until fate ripped their dreams of making it work apart.

The RDA activity had led A'nak to be called away from his village far more often and for longer periods, while Sa'ana was alone and afraid.

Spider and Sa'ana initially met during the Ta'unui raids when Sa'ana attempted to hide her infant in her Mauri, not knowing the were targets for burning. She had been alone in the village with little support, as she had recently moved to live amongst her husband and his family, before he was called away to scout and protect the village from the RDA presence. While she was loved by his family and his people, she was in an unfamiliar place with people who were still more strangers than family. And as she was not a fighter, and rather a dancer and crafter, she struggled to break free from the hold of the soldiers to reach her baby. it was Spider who recognized the meaning of her cries and ran into the blazes of the mauri ti save the child.

She would forever remember his act. She was young, alone, and scared, and he had come to her and her child's rescue in the time of their greatest need, despite it being dangerous for him to do so. He disobeyed his captors and risked death or even more serious injury than the burns to his back to protect her and her baby, because getting into an argument with Quaritch about being heartless, never once dropping the protective stance he took in front of her. He made her feel less afraid during one of the most traumatic moments of her life.

Their ways would be forcefully parted for many weeks before Sa'ana was forced to leave her husband's village. After the burning of both his and her villages, she could not find the support and safety she needed for herself and her son, and her husband was not due back from the reefs edge for many more weeks, as he was a warrior for the clan.

which will eventually lead her to traveling to Awa'atlu, the island's stronghold village, and there, she would be reunited with the boy who had so bravely saved her and her child.

Spider had yet to be entirely accepted by the people of Awa'atlu. He'd been allowed to stay and he had the Sully children to call family, but he was pretty lonely. A stranger, just like Sa'ana. And she accepts him with open arms. She had heard of his presence here and was more than excited to be reunited. Her son had begun to walk since they'd last met, and that was because Spider had saved him. He allowed her son to live until his first steps. She speaks of his bravery to his new clan and how good he is, hoping to influence their acceptance of him

Spider is happy to see her as well, to see that she and her son are safe and unharmed. He's rather obsessed with Nani, always watching over him and making sure he doesn't out shells in his mouth, building sand castles with him, getting in the occasional fight, cause she difference doesn't matter, a 17 year old and a one year old will manage to have beef (Spider is have the time of his life).

Sa'ana ends up getting his help around her mauri, which is in the deepest section inland of the village, so she's in a little foresty cove. She is closer to Spider's age than she is to being his mother (they have a 3/4 year age difference), so their relationship is something between friends and siblings, while she is still motherly at times. Spider does chores and brings her fish or hunts from the forests he's far better adapted to hunt in, and makes sure no one bothers her. She cooks and crafts for them and makes sure Spider doesn't feel alone.

Spider needed that after everything that happened over the span of the last few months. While he needed a true parent, after his ordeal with trauma bonding with Q and all that entailed, he wasn't ready for an authority/guardian figure in his life. He would have sabotaged any attempts made, but considering his status, no one would have tried to begin with. She wasn't his mother, she wasn't in charge of him, she was just someone he could lean on, nearly an equal, but just a bit older and wiser and reliable, and he felt safe with her.

Spider would bring his siblings to see Nani and play in the tide pools on the forest edge, and it was nice. it helped them feel a bit more... ok, after losing Neteyam, and with the RDA smog on the horizon. And Sa'ana liked hearing the gaggle of children outside of her home, playing with her child.

It would take weeks for A'nak to be relieved from his scouting duties and to make his way to Awa'atlu, where he decided he would stay, regardless of their families choices, so he could be with his wife; they tried to do things the traditional ways, moving with one of their families, but that didn't work, and Sa'ana got hurt in the process, and he would never leave her side again.

Spider does not like him at first. He sees A'nak as a man who couldn't handle his commitment and abandoned Sa'ana and Nani to be a warrior. It takes a while for him to trust the man. He doesn't like him, doesn't trust him to stick around, nor does he believe that he deserves Sa'ana and actively tries to get her to dump his ass. he is the biggest hater. He only gets along with him in the beginning to not stress out Sa'ana, and so she'll leave them with the baby to go take a proper break and mingle and breathe without anxiety.

A'nak does not know what to do with the kid. He's Sa'ana's.... kid? brother? friend? He has no idea what he should be doing. Should he be gently fathering him like Sa'ana mothers him at times? or would they just get him punched in the jaw? (it's the latter).

But eventually Spider will trust his commitment and open up to him, and they become very close. Spider will always give him shit and challenge his authority, but at the end of the day, when he doesn't have an answer or needs someone to have his back, he'll look for A'nak. and while A'nak doesn't know what to call this kid, he knows he would die for him. He would shield his body with his own. He would love mountains for him just like he would for Nani. That's his son and his brother and one of his best friends and that's all that matters.

They're the first people he tells about Quaritch being alive, and while it doesn't go over without reaction, they took it well enough, because that's their boy. They know him. They know he had a reason. And they trust him. He told them, knowing the risks, and he was honest, and his eyes held so much pain. So they help him break the news to the rest of the village and give him unconditional shelter no matter everyone else's reaction.

"I saved the monster that destroyed your home"

"You saved your father. Monster or not, he was your father."

"How are you ok with this?"

"I already know you enough to forgive you."

Sa'ana takes it best. She saw the boy in her village. Saw how torn his heart was. Knows that no matter the feelings he harbors for his father, his people will come first. A'nak needs to step away for a moment, which is the first turn Spider ever truly wanted him to stay, so he didn't do or say something foolish. But he gets over it, especially when the rest of the village gets s little hostile and he begins to guard the scar on his chest he never really asked about whenever he's near the eldest Sully woman. At that point that paternal instincts to protect unconditionally win. No one will touch his kid.

When the warfront returns to the shores of Awa'atlu, A'nak does everything to keep Spider from it, but ultimately takes him under his wing to make sure when he does sneak into battle, he doesn't get himself killed (though Spider does stay behind with Sa'ana and Nani often enough).

in the peace times Sa'ana and A'nak teach him to surf, and will take him all the way out to the edge of the reef to catch the good waves. A'nak takes Spider to scout when he resumes taking shorter, half day, trips. They each him the ceremonial dances of their people, for fun, and they practice together at night, and its so refreshing to do as a little family.

Spider takes Nani everywhere. They're attached at the hip. Spider is always taking him places and cooing to him and making him stuff. Over protective big brother to the max. This is the baby sibling he gets to raise, and that's special. He was only eight and barely accepted when Tuk was born. This is monumental for him. You never see them too far apart for very long. Even if it's a five minute check in every now and then when he's with his friends and other siblings. Nani is represented on his songchord by a pearl.

A'nak even put up with Spider's attempts to claim a Tsurak. He was a little shocked when he succeeded, but he pretends he always had faith (it's gonna be one of those stories he tells 20 years later and finally admits the truth. "I was only there cause I was gonna try and keep you from getting yourself killed")

in the end, Spider ends up living with them most of the time, he spends some nights with his siblings or with Ao'nung (cause they're totally crushing a little. and I think Sa'ana would giggle at the prospect of Spider falling for someone that reminds her of a younger A'nak, while A'nak himself pales at the mere thought. now he gets why Spider hated him so much), but he's home with them. With little Nani. In the mauri he helped make their own. And more often then not, he sleeps between them with Nani tucked in his arms.

He isn't alone anymore.

A collection of Fell art I don't think I've ever posted before. This is all art I've made in the last year, those first pics being done in January/February-ish? It's been fun to see how much my art has developed since then :)

So, something I'm sure I've mentioned before, I have RSD- or rejection sensitive dysphoria. For the last decade or so, it's controlled a large portion of my life and has dictated a lot of what I've been able to do. It used to be a lot worse- like, eating-lunch-alone-in-the-bathroom-everyday-at-school-because-I'd-have-a-panic-attack-if-I-tried-to-go-into-the-cafeteria type of bad. Or, having-a-panic-attack-because-a-girl-complimented-my-socks-and-I-was-CERTAIN-she-was-actually-implying-I-was-a-stupid-idiot-loser-baby type of bad. It's made it really hard to make friends and maintain relationships, because a part of my brain truly believes the people around me don't want me there, or that it's better for me to be quiet and out of the way than to risk doing something "wrong" and drawing the ire of everyone around me.

It was something that I was really ashamed of for the longest time. I didn't understand what I was feeling or why I acted the way that I did, I just wanted everyone around me to be happy and I felt like I was doing everything wrong and making everything worse just by being present in any given situation.

So- what ended up working for me? How did I start moving forward?

Years of counseling and therapy? Yeah. Medication? That too.

But do you want to know what really ended up changing my life this year?

I made a character to conceptualize and encapsulate all of my anxieties and traumas, took my condition, and made it her superpower.

Some bits about her character:

In a ⋆˙⟡dramatic⋆˙⟡ and ⋆˙⟡tragic⋆˙⟡ childhood event, Fell's heart was fused with a star.

It sounds like a magical-girl dream- but for Fell, it's only ever been a curse.

Whenever her emotions flare, she has an uncontrollable surge of magic. Sometimes, that wild magic can scare or even hurt the people around her. She's become terrified of her own emotions- and that fear only exacerbate her "curse".

So, she isolates herself- not out of a fear of others, but out of a fear of hurting those around her.

When I was a kid, there weren't really any characters out there that I felt like I could truly identify with. Sure, I've seen social anxiety addressed in media throughout my life, but nothing that I felt really captured the full complexities of what I was experiencing in my day-to-day. Plus, I feel like those characters rarely got to be the heroes of the story.

So, all that to say, Fell is the hero that I wish I had gotten to have as a kid.

Starlight Saga (working title), or Legends of ZahKol, is the story and world that I built around the lessons I've learned in my journey of overcoming my anxiety and RSD. I can't give that to my past self, but my dream is to one day share it with the world- for other people out there like me, to help them and give them hope and let them know how strong they really are for fighting day in and day out. That these parts of yourself don't mean you're broken or damaged or wrong- these are tied to the most resilient, most beautiful parts of who you are.

i have... never actually written established!relationship (in any fandom), now that i'm thinking about it? that said, i guess i can come up with a quick list of some headcanons, maybe? 😂 i will have to think about this more, but for now, here's a quick drop:

elsa is an early riser; elsa helps jack create more sustainable sleeping patterns and habit formations 😂

when jack gets Impetuous Urges to Do Something Rash and Impractically Spontaneous, elsa will ground jack, reminding him to think before acting. (he occasionally Still Does It, anyway.) elsa knows what she signed up for, lol.

jack loves to play Harmless(!) Pranks, just to watch elsa’s reaction. (he is no longer allowed to sneak up on her after The Incident).

they also quibble over the definition of "harmless" and the specific logistical implications of that; for a while, jack was banned from further pranking, but then he got more creative at showing elsa that pranks could be wholesome and genuine, in which they could both be in on the joke. however, due to elsa's deeply-rooted Need to Excel and her (Not-so)Secret Competitive AF Streak, her retaliation in escalating the Cleverness Prank War quickly resulted in jack's prompt implementation of the Prank-Free Zones and Time Periods. (no, he was not scared.)

elsa, usually reserved, has learned to let her playful side show more often with jack. she might still pretend to be exasperated by his antics, but sometimes it's part of the game (or habit).

elsa sill struggles with opening up emotionally sometimes, but she progressively feels safe enough to share her innermost thoughts and fears. with time, she confides in him more about her worries. she still never likes the idea that jack sees her Imperfect Parts, but at least she can tolerate the discomfort (and, yes, take comfort in it) now

(jack loves elsa's Imperfect Parts, and jack admits that he is Weirdly Proud and Competitively Honored to be one of the only people, even including anna, who gets to see them. he also is strangely Comforted and Validated that elsa is, in fact, not perfect because for a while there, he was pretty freaked out and intimidated by how fancy she is.)

until he realized that no one ever let her actually be a Weirdo before, and once he realizes the Truth of Elsa Also Being a Secret (albeit perhaps more Subdued) Weirdo, the Universe Aligns.

jack listens to elsa's Big Conversations intently, activating varying levels of Serious Mode.

jack is getting better at recognizing the moments when elsa needs him to play and needs him to listen or Give His Opinion or any combination of those things.

jack learns that it's not always about Saying the Right Thing (which he is not very good at, anyway, or so our Serially Unreliable Narrator thinks), but rather being able to read elsa's mood and anticipate what she might need (even if she is not aware of it herself yet).

elsa is meticulous about planning and preparing for special occasions.

elsa likes traditions! jack likes tradition only because elsa likes them, lol, and hey, okay, these are more fun than he thought?? (who knew fun could be organized??!!?)

so he really wants to show (off to) her by pulling off Incredible Planning Feats in her honor, too (they do not go as smoothly, lol).

jack will often go out of his way to spontaneously create something meaningful, a moment or a gift or a gesture, that reminds elsa that he cares. he is big on words of affirmation, gift giving (but like, souvenirs that he collects on adventures like, "i saw this rock and it reminded me of your cousin olaf, we should put it on the window after we paint his face on it"), and acts of service, as well as physical touch and quality time. HE WANTS LOVE. he wants TO BE LOVED. he wants to prove that he is worthy of being loved.

(and elsa has to get him to Chill Out sometimes, remind him that he doesn't have to Do Things For Her/Anyone in order to be deserving of care; he is more than what he provides for other people.)

(jack gets its, and appreciates it, but also, the Urge to Provide and Protect is still strong, even after so much time, and sometimes Old Habits Die Hard.)

i get the sense that he'd be the type to he wake elsa up in the middle of the night to take her on a surprise adventure, or convince her to Do a Fun Thing without any preparation (/warning).

and she would Be Alarmed at the Lack of Plan (especially if/when jack Did Not Think This Through), but he also took precautions to ward off Concerns by pacifying her with tea, or reassurances that yes, he did call ahead to make sure the restaurant was open before they left the house, of course he did, he would never just leave home without double-checking beforehand (and frantically googles it two minutes later when he thinks she's not looking; she is, naturally, and even occasionally pretends not to be).

elsa approaches conflict with a desire to resolve things Calmly and Logically. she tries to understand jack’s perspective, even when she disagrees, and she’s careful with her words, not wanting to escalate the situation.

however, she can sometimes withdraw emotionally, fearing that she might say something hurtful if she’s too overwhelmed.

jack was initially (and, honestly, still is, even though he understands more now) hurt by her tendency to shut down when she Feels Too Much, and understands (although it's still hard) that elsa needs time to process her feelings and organize her thoughts.

jack also helps elsa actually Feel her Feelings, instead of just trying to intellectualize and analyze them. (she hates it, BUT sees the value. jack lives for these moments in which he realizes that he's actually contributing positively to her life and helping her in some way, rather than just being a burden or a nuisance, as was/is his fear.)

his initial reaction might be to push for a resolution quickly, but he’s also deeply afraid of Creating Distance between them, so after the first few fights, he really makes an effort to find the right balance between Pushing Hard Enough and Not Pushing Too hard, so that he doesn't drive a wedge between them as they work things out.

jack FEELS intensely, and can be so stubborn. he does not always have the most precise vocabulary or tools to describe his thoughts and feelings, or identify the root causes of what is actually going on inside him; sometimes elsa asks a lot of insightful and guiding questions that help jack come to the conclusions himself, and other times, she Puts Into Words the very thing that he had been thinking or feeling, but could not name, and it is very reassuring to have someone who understands him well enough to be able to do that.

after conflicts or arguments, they take time to Decompress and reassure one another (especially if at least one of them, if not both, was Overthinking again).

when they argue (and healthy couples do, remember!), it’s a dance of patience and understanding: elsa might need a moment to Collect Herself, and jack learns to give her that Space while also making it clear that he’s ready to talk whenever she is, and that he is going to try very hard to be Rational and Patient About It.

in the end, they both prioritize their relationship over any disagreement, always finding a way back to each other.

What is all this Ford Pines nonsense?

So, @jellyskink is a gravity falls fanartist who's responsible for the "Domesticated Ford" au. It's a horror/dark comedy "bad ending" AU for the show Gravity Falls. In it, Bill Cipher manages to make a deal with Fiddleford McGucket, and uses his body to imprison Ford Pines for years until he has been brainwashed into complying with Bill's demands.

Ford opens the portal, Bill enters Earth, and Ford becomes his personal property - his "pet." He's constantly tortured, but is so brainwashed that he still craves Bill's attention and love. Just like in the show, Bill Cipher and his gang are stuck in the weirdness bubble, but in this AU, the bubble is slowly expanding. Ford is trying to find a way to prevent the bubble from completely destroying the universe as it expands, but when he's not doing that, he's fawning on Bill.

Ford is so deeply delusional and dissociative in this AU that he honestly wants to be with Bill, and can't comprehend how bad his situation is. This is probably for the best, because his situation is really, really bad.

A couple of other AUs have come up - namely, @alexthebordercollie's Hand of God, a different Bill Wins AU in which Ford is functionally a god now. That Ford likes Domesticated!Ford and seemingly wants to adopt him as his own. It's all very messy.

What is this blog?

This blog is based on "is the animal video cute?" style blogs that check viral animal videos to make sure they are actually cute, not abusive. (For example: dog clicker-trained to jump? Cute. Dog baited into fighting a raccoon? Not cute.) The idea is, Bill Cipher puts Ford in pet show contests because he thinks it's funny, and these clips have gone viral online in-universe. This blog is a "pet rater" blog that got sent a bunch of Ford Pines content.

Real life me is so deeply uncomfortable with online discourse that I don't even link my fan blogs to my main. The fictional character of Pet Rater Guy, though, is the sort of person who gets baited by online trolls REALLY easily and keeps getting in over his head when it comes to The Disk Horse.

PET GUY TIMELINE

Pre-history: the blog is new, but in-universe, it's been reviewing pet show content for years.

Pet Guy starts reblogging Ford Pines content at the request of fans. Pet guy calls out these posts as problematic.

Pet Guy ends up in a nasty fight with in-universe Jellyskink, a Ford fan who is clueless about the context of the photo and videos she posts.

Pet Guy begins attracting more attention from people who are pro-Ford and pro-Bill.

Pet guy's anti-abuse posts attract the attention of a godded Ford (@chiphersconsort) from another dimension.

Pet Guy gets very scared and drunk.

Pet Guy has cordial interactions with this deific Ford, which get out of hand because of Pet Guy's intoxication. Pet Guy gets transformed.

Pet guy wakes up to find that he's a hungover raccoon. He keeps blogging as before.

A weird Cipher Loyalist @phosphorwings shows up in Pet Guy's comments and reblogs, but they seem to be on good terms with the god that cursed Pet Guy, so Pet Guy tries to be polite to them.

Pet Guy (who is a raccoon) sets up a side blog @totallynotstalkingmothguy to monitor the Cipher Loyalist.

Despite this side blog, Pet Guy and phosphorwings begin to become friends, in no small part because chiphersconsort makes it very clear that Pet Guy is to be nice to phosphorwings. Ciphersconsort knows about the side blog.

Pet guy helps Phosphorwings understand internet context such as memes, as well as internet safety and etiquette such as how to deal with trolls. He mentions on the side blog that ciphersconsort gives him psychic head scritches when he's "a good boy."

Phosphorwings becomes upset at an anonymous ask that suggests he has Stockholm syndrome; in his very emotional reply, he insists that "his muse" is wonderful to him. Pet Guy posts "...His muse?" On the side blog, a then later reblogs it with, "I don't remember posting this."

Phosphorwings begins to post references to his life that make it appear he is in a severely abusive relationship. Pet guy gets concerned and asks chiphersconsort for "divine wisdom" in the tags of a post. Chiphersconsort informs him he's handling it.

Pet guy now regularly refers to Chiphersconsort as "god." Pet guy is regularly getting asks about him being a "lap raccoon" or other pet-related jokes. He has been accused of wanting to crawl in chiphersconsort laps and has replied that "wanting that would be weird".

Chiphersconsort posts a picture of the chaos moths that he uses to find outbreaks entropy, the apocalyptic force that is currently destroying his dimension. Phosphorwings and Pet Guy are both really excited. Pet Guy asks for a copy of his research notes, which he receives.

Phosphorwings and another mutual, @ranchsoda92, invite Pet Guy to play DDnmD together. When Pet Guy protests that none of them know where he lives and he doesn't know where they live, ranchsoda92 tells him to open his window.

Several hours later, Pet Guy posts a series of frantic and cryptic posts on both blogs about having been at Phosphorwings's house.

In response to Pet Guy explaining what non-sexual BDSM is to phosphorwings, someone asks if Pet Guy a kink question. Pet Guy answers. This becomes an entire subject of conversation.

Chiphersconsort makes a series of posts that showcase his extremely concerning relationship with his husband (his dimension's Bill Cipher). Pet Guy is very upset and concerns.

Chiphersconcert has a manic episode and becomes disconcertingly affectionate toward Pet Guy, including posting a screenshot of an unpublished ask suggesting PG ask "god" to "do freak shit", left over from the BDSM series. He also offers to do horrible things to the various anons who have said upsetting things to Pet Guy. Pet Guy tries to manage this situation.

Chiphersconsort recovers from his mania and seemingly forgets who Pet Guy is altogether. Pet Guy is relieved. He also forgets who Phosphorwings is again and reblogs several of his previous posts expressing confusion.

Chiphersconsort offers to GM the next game of DDnmD. Pet Guy attends. To manage his panic, Chiphersconsort uses magic to calm him down. This backfires by making Pet Guy extremely high and silly.

Chiphersconsort wipes Pet Guy's memory.

Pet Guy enters a private chat with the DDnmD squad. He announces that he isn't going to publicize any information from the chat but that it's "wild." He uses this chat to confirm that he is getting regularly memory wiped.

ive been informed that my fic 'closer' shares a lot of similarities in trope and structure to a pre-existing fic (kim mingyu's unhelpful guide to losing your virginity) by a fellow seventeen writer.

although any similarities in it were purely accidental (i take months writing each full-length fic, so you are free to believe this or not), this is a fic i read in the past and even recommended on a 'fic recs' post, so i do believe i unintentionally replicated some aspects of it, and i apologize for that. this was something i did not realize until it was pointed out to me by the author, and they are completely right in their assertion of it. the author reached out to me and asked me to take it down, and since i'd never wanna put a fellow author in a tough spot or make them feel uncomfortable/disrespected by my work, ill be taking it down from both here and patreon.

The Gavins are the first ones I really did, and they're both caracals! I've kinda wanted to go back and change Klavier a bit in regards to an insane headcanon, but caracalvier is too iconic like this, I just can't do it

Putting Maya and Fran together, cause they're both kitties! If Maya was a specific breed, then I forgot, but Fransizka (and her dad, by extension) are both oriental longhairs. If I weren't presently injured, I'd draw a scrungly Manfred, but alas your mind's eye will have to do the work.

Phoenix is a puppy dog! Very very nearly made him a hyena... But I couldn't. I couldn't reconcile it with Ryunosuke. I have a Yeenix in the back, for any interested parties

LASTLY for my main-series designs is Athena! She's a seal. I don't think I had a specific reason besides not being able to get ears to fit with that ponytail... Might change her to a sea lion, though!

Sholmes is a lion (with his sad little low testosterone mane)! He was easily the hardest, as I went back and forth... Alot. He was a pigeon at first! I contemplated rabbit..? But I tried to steer away from the mascot designs, generally. I'm happy with the decision of lion, however, mostly cause it gives him fun symbolism with the whole Professor thing.

The van Zieks-es are unicorns, and Bunnybrain is a pony! I could go more in-depth, buuut that's kinda spoilery

Ryunosuke and Kazuma (not pictured) are both puppy dogs, and I think I settled on bunny for Susato?? To make her pops a bunny also? I also have some sketches of her as a sugar glider, but I don't really like most of their art 👎 so there's a couple gaps here

If anyone wants to (??!?!?!!) you can use these designs for pretty much anything you want (and feel free to extrapolate upon the rest of their designs, most of these are very limited), just make sure to tag me, partially for credit, but also because I'd just REAAAALLY want to see... I've been playing Reverse 1999 for about 3 days now absolutely because of the announcement that they're doing a collab with Assassin's Creed so I figured I would make this for those curious to play Reverse 1999 for the collab.

Before anything, this isn't a comprehensive guide. This is merely my experience and my tips as a 'veteran' gacha player (also a veteran "welp, we're starting this game while the current event is gonna end, guess we're going to accelerate our progress to try and clear it before it goes away lol" gacha player)

Should I try Reverse 1999 even if there's no AC collab? ... You should try it but it is a gacha game so be wary of the 'summon' mechanics because that is gambling with better rates than a casino. The story is pretty good especially if you like time travel and the gameplay is alright (there's also autobattle later on). the EN dub is awesome as well with lots of characters speaking their native language (like French and Russian) and have accents based on where they're from (the game is primarily set in Europe). If you're just here for the AC collab, you can skip the story but I would suggest at least going through the 1st main story to see if you enjoy Reverse 1999. Be warned though... this game is very angst-filled XD

When is the AC collab going to start? There have been no official date. There's a twitter post that says early 2025 so my best guess is before or during the first week of release of AC Shadows to promote the game (Feb 2025)

Will it be an event with playable characters or just skins? No idea. This is the first global event of Reverse 1999. Usually, gacha games that are released globally a year or so after the first server (like Blue Archive, Punishing Gray Raven... for now, Azur Lane before they integrated all servers to name a few), we would have a head's up using the first server's past events and collabs. This is a global collab though so there is no information at the moment. There is a possibility that this is just skins which would be sad. Only delivering skins after that teaser? ... Well... there's gonna be backlash for sure.

What should we prepare then? I would suggest preparing for the worst case scenario: 2 separate banners for Ezio and Kassandra as 6 star characters.

There's a possibility it will be a 1 banner with Ezio as a 6 star character together with Alexios and Kassandra as 5 star characters but I doubt they'd go down that route tbh.

There's also the possibility that they'd do 1 banner with Ezio and Kassandra in it as 6 stars characters like this:

This is the worst-worst case scenario because I cannot confirm if this setup will remove the other choice if you already have it (aka: if you pulled Kassandra, it's a guarantee that you'll pull Ezio as your next 6 star). If this is what happens, we shall have to pray to the RNGods.

Pity starts at 60 and guarantee is at 70 with a chance to lose the first one (if you get a 6 star that isn't the rate up character, let's say Ezio for this example, then your next 6 star will be Ezio) which means our worst case scenario would 140 pulls (losing the 6 star at 70).

So if we go for our worst case scenario of separate banners for Ezio and Kassandra, we'd need 280 pulls before or during the event.

Can this be done? Maybe. XD

The next banner which will start this week is approximated to give 100 pulls for everyone but that does assume that you'll finish the next event (which means you'd have to have good characters) and that you do the dailies and weeklies for the entirety of the event. The AC event should also give free pulls and, if it does include it's own event, then it should give pulls as well by clearing the event. I cannot confirm how much though. The other pulls you might need will have to come from the main story content and the beginner bonuses but I'm not going to calculate that XD

Note that you need to build your characters to clear the events so make use of all the free candies that give extra stamina to speed up the process.

So what can we do to save up? Use free characters to clear content which is absolutely doable.

Here is my current team:

You only need to focus on 3 characters with the 4th character lagging behind. A main damage dealer (Eagle, who is free), a support (Sonetto, who is also free) and a healer (mine is Yenisei which I got by pulling BUT there is a free healer which you'll get on your 8th day of login so you can build her instead)

Yenisei is in the 5 star selector so you can get her there. I read that the 6 star selector can only be picked if you've played for an entire year but I have no idea where it's from, so yeah, no getting our hopes up for that one hahahaha.

Build those three and you should have an alright time to clear the main story content and the events.

(this is for a f2p experience btw, you can buy stuff that can grant additional pulls in game but, if you really want to and you can take the hit, my suggestion is to buy the Roaring Month which grants 90 drops for 30 days as long as you log in daily, 1 pull = 180 drops so an additional of 15 pulls, anything else can ranged from a bit scummy to "this is a scam")

-GORE AND DISTURBING IMAGERY WARNING-

Ok I know it isn’t Halloween, but since I’m seeing apocalyptic stuff (cough cough mlp infection cough cough) on my fyp, I decided to have a try at it. The only thing bad about this idea is that I might take a while to post actual art of it.😔

This was originally a concept sketch for another Au based on the Bishops’ purged forms, but I decided that I enjoyed the design for Shamura way too much to scrap it

Now, this Au first takes place in the Goat’s universe, specifically pre-betrayal where Shamura is assisting Narinder with expanding his domain. Since Narinder is still quite new to resurrection, the occasional cursed follower appears; which is similar to the cursed followers in the Lamb’s cult.

After the first couple of cursed followers appear, Shamura decides to look further into the cause of this disease. And who else to look to for information than the Plague God himself?

So, with along with Kallamar, they research into the potential cause of this phenomenon over the course of 70 years, reading through their old scrolls and ancient texts dating back to the War of Gods. So much information was known about it, so many puzzles, so much proof of its existence yet so little reason for it to exist.

They kept the infected in a dungeon, serving as an easy way to experiment on the undead(and a cruel method to punish dissenters). The infected soon went from 1 to 13 in the span of 14 years, and one that that was apparent was the odd way the disease grew in intelligence with each victim. So more were sacrificed to feed the infection, making Shamura’s curiosity grow more and more whilst Kallamar’s concern was at an all time high.

Eventually, after sacrificing a dissenter who had tried to free chained followers to the horde of infected, Kallamar had decided it was enough, saying the whole experiment was a mistake, and the disappearance of many followers was causing much trouble and doubt to appear in their cults. Shamura was reluctant, yet understanding of Kallamar’s concerns, suggesting to take a break for a few decades before returning back to their research.

Yet, before either of them could come to a decision, the dungeon containing the infected had been broken, leaving the two no choice but to defend themselves. Within the chaos in such a small corridor, Shamura had managed to get bit.

After the gory fight, was then and there Kallamar had decided to forcibly shut the project down for good to attend to Shamura. Within the first 2 weeks, Shamura had felt off, but overall they behaved quite normally. Next thing they knew, memories they held dear began to fade, being replaced by an unbearable feeling of emptiness. On the third week, they had the sudden urge to lash out at their siblings, and it was at this point they knew something was terribly wrong.

They go to visit Kallamar, demanding that he chain them in his dungeons. In shock, Kallamar declines their demand only to be met with a menacing glare, causing him to reluctantly agree in the end.

Within the dungeons, Shamura’s mind could make sense of the groans and cries of the infected, going into one of the cells as they use the power of their crown to chain themselves to the ground. They then order Kallamar to keep the experiment going, at his dismay.

And over the course of 2 months, Shamura documented their process of the infection and how unburdened their mind was becoming, while Kallamar was forced to watch his beloved sibling decay in front of his very eyes. And finally, Shamura had given in, no longer responding to any outside stimulus. And at this point, as pictured in the drawing, they are both trapped in the cell by their own chains and trapped inside of their own mind.
