^^ Hello, how are you. Idk if this is the right place to send a request since Iâm new to tumblr lol. I would like to make a request though it may seem a little weird. May I request Miguel OâHara/Fem Spider-barbie reader. Readerâs outgoing and cheerful she has the aesthetic of a Barbie and gets along with other spiders, sheâs not actual barbie doll btw lol. Miguel could be yelling and giving other spiders a hard time but whenever Spider Barbieâs around heâs the complete opposite. Spider barbie always helps calm him down whenever he loses his temper. Maybe one day heâs stressed and angry over a mission so spider barbie decides to calm him down with a back massage. Could also lead to some smut, only if youâre okay with writing that. No pressure. Thanks! ^^
miguel o'hara stars in... 'HI BARBIE! HI KEN!' ă˝(>â<â)
a/n ~ first request!!1!! i'm doing great, thank you so much. this isnât weird at all- i spent all day writing this, it's so cute!! i had margot robbie's cowgirl fit in mind for reader when i was writing this, she's so beautiful omg, i think it suits spider-barbie's vibe really wellđ went a bit heavy with the smut but miguel's hot so it's valid- enjoy my love!
summary; miguel gets some stress relief from his favourite barbie girl.
pairing; miguel oâhara x fem!spider-barbie!reader
wc; 2.3k +
cw; SMUT!!, pining, oral sex, dry humping, facial, throat/face-fuckin, soft?dom!miguel, sub!reader, he's a lil mean but he loves you, praise kink, worshiping, hair pulling, miguel shouts at some people, f!masturbation, squirtinnn, miguel being sexy, NOT PROOFREAD!! i have a headache
âand you didnât think to fucking report it to me?â miguel was seething, talons digging stripes into his desk as he glared down at the poor recruits below him. yes, they were new, but they fucked up an important mission- he wasnât about to go easy on them.Â
âpor el amor de dios, do you three have any idea how serious this is? you couldâve-â the spiders looked at each other, eyes of their masks comically wide as the drown out miguelâs rants to try and come up with some sort of excuse to justify the failed mission. â-and donât even think about coming up with some bullshit excuse.âÂ
they froze, shaking their heads and hands rapidly as they nervously stuttered out, âno, of course notâ, and, âwe would never, bossâ- miguelâs disapproving gaze boring holes into their masks, he jumps off the platform and stalks up to them. menacingly looming over them as his eyes flash red, lips pulled up in a snarl as his sharp fangs poke out under his top lip.
âdonât let this happen again, cause i swear iâll-âsuddenly, the doors of his lab slide open, a cheery voice ringing through the spacious room as all eyes flit towards the pink figure strutting in. the recruits blush under their masks, hearts beating rapidly at the sight of the sparkly spider- known across the spiderverse as the most perfect spider, spider barbie.Â
âmiguel? i brought you some lunch! oh- hi guys! sorry i didnât mean to interrupt, iâm y/n, by the way.â you flash them a bright smile, glossy, plump lips glistening under the lights as you hold up the bag of food- the spiders wave frantically, greeting you with unmatched enthusiasm. miguelâs breath hitches at the sight of you, masking it with a roll of his eyes as he looks down at you- eyes softer compared to the harshness they had when looking at the recruits.
âitâs fine, y/n, we were done here anyway.â that was their cue to leave, the newbies scrambling to get out of the room, feeling the tension rising, but not without sending you shy smiles and whispered goodbyes you reciprocate with angelic kindness. miguel watches you intently, eyes locked on your every move. his eyes trail down the hot pink set you wore, the fat of your tits spilling out the tight top, curvy hips accentuated by the tightness of your flares - fuck, you are perfect.
he lets out a heavy sigh, his bulking frame towering over you as he takes the bag gently from your pretty hands, making sure to brush over them slightly. âwhatâd you get me this time, hm? empanadas again?â he has a crooked smirk on his lips as he opens the bag, his eyes still trained on you as you sit on the counter, the prettiest smile on your face. âactually, i got you some sushi this time. thought i should surprise you a little.âÂ
he allows himself to smile, the tension in his face easing in your presence. âyeah? howâd yâknow iâd like sushi? you keeping tabs on me?â you giggle, stealing a piece of sushi from the platter. âwouldnât you like to know. i asked lyla, actually, sheâs very helpful.â his eyebrow raises, glancing over at the glowing hologram who appears to be lounging by the monitors, a small smile on her face hidden by a small magazine.Â
âright, guess iâm gonna have to install a âkeep your fuckinâ mouth shutâ feature now.â he mutters, secretly enjoying the thought of you knowing things about him he wouldnât dare to tell anyone if they asked, relishing in the thread of connection you two share. you stand, moving around him to stand behind him, stretching up to grip his shoulders.Â
âyou ok, miguel? you seemed upset earlier.â you whisper in his ear, hands running down his arms innocently. he doesnât think so though, the soft touch of your hands compared to his firm muscles igniting a tingling feeling in his belly - a soft groan leaving his parted lips as he leans into your touch. ââm fine, the new recruits just pissed me off. nothinâ fâr you to worry âbout, pretty.â you smile slightly as he lets the pet name slip out, your hands running more sensually around his upper body, dipping into the crevices and curves of his chiseled body.Â
âlet me at least help you feel better, mig, your shoulders are tense as fuck.â you smirk playfully, leaning round his body to peer up at his face, eyes widening as you take him in. his eyes were slightly hooded, wetted lips open in pleasure, a faint tinge of red on his face. he looks down at you, panting softly as he sucks in a deep breath, nodding silently as he allows you to lead him wherever.
gently grasping his hand in yours, you lead him towards his large chair, sitting him down as you slide yourself in his lap. miguelâs head races with all sorts of thoughts, the tell tale sign of his arousal pressing against the crotch of your sparkling pants, his hands subtly moving you down to ease the ache in his lap. your lips pull into a empathetic pout, hands moving gracefully along the taut muscles of his shoulder blades, moving down to the ridges of his abs.
âhowâs this feel? am i doing good?â the sweet tone in which you speak has him biting back a growl, his cock throbbing as he moves subtly against the plush folds of your cunt through the fabric. â âs great, your- shit- your hands feel amazing, love. jusââŚkeep doing that, yeah?â you nod, biting your lip softly as you keep up your soft caresses. his head falls back against the chair, eyes closed in bliss- he looks so unbelievably handsome, sculpted jawline, high cheekbones, heâs just so mmh.Â
you couldnât help yourself, not when he was practically offering you a taste of him. his thick neck, littered with veins of various sizes, laid bare for you. you slowly moved in, small breaths warming the skin of his neck, heart pumping and hands trembling slightly. your glossy lips press light kisses on the flesh, shiny, pink, marks left behind. one hand moves up to rest on his chest as you feel a surge of boldness rush through you, leaning in once again to suckle on his skin.Â
his eyes flit open, gazing down at you as you mark his neck with deep red and purple bruises, his hand lazily running up your spine as he grinds into you just a little harder. âhm? what happened to givinâ me a massage?â he flashes you a sexy grin, tilting his head at your ministrations- not that he minds of course. you donât respond, only small moans and whimpers leaving your lips as you continue to suck on his skin. his hand moves down to your chin, lifting your flushed face to meet his. âthought you were supposed to be makinâ me feel better? i can feel that pretty pussy soaking through yâr jeans, love. this turninâ you on?âÂ
you nod, your beautiful face betraying your need for him. he lets out a deep chuckle, hands caressing your hips as he moves you to grind against him, the thin fabrics of both of your clothes letting you feel the engorged tip of his cock brushing against your clit. he breathes out a stuttered moan, gritting his teeth as he stares into your eyes, how could someone be so fuckinâ perfect? you had to have been made to torture him, to make his heart race and cock hard to every time heâs around you- hell, every time he thinks about you.
âmiguelâŚâ your whining snaps him out of his thoughts, his focus immediately zeroes back onto you. he pulls you closer, resting you against his bulky chest. âyeah? whatâs up, baby? what dâyou want?â his thumbs caress your nipples through the fabric of your top, the rough pads of his fingers making your pussy clench tightly, slick coating your puffy folds. you look up at him, hands pulling at the thin fabric of his suit. âi still wanna make you feel betterâŚcan-can i suck you off, please?âÂ
has he died? has miguel died and gone to heaven? or was this some kind of fucked up hell, there was no way he was hearing correctly. you, the sweet, innocent, barbie-esque, spider heâs been silently pining over for months now is asking him, so cutely, to suck his cock. he doesnât think heâs been as eager to say yes to anything as he was now. he clicks a button on his wrist, his suit glitching away at his crotch. his cock is so pretty. a trail of dark hair leading down his navel, the tip a deep red, the rest tanned, throbbing veins wrapping around his length. it was fat, and shit, it was long too- pre dripping down the side of it as it, twitching the longer you stared at it.
your mouth waters, tongue darting out to lick your lips. your nimble hands wrap around his cock, a small gasp rings out in the room as your thumb runs along his tip, collecting the wetness and rubbing it around the tip. his fangs dig into his lips, speckles of blood pooling underneath the sharp tip. he sinks deeper into the chair, his suit dissipating more to reveal his thick thighs, a large hand coming to rest against one, the other caressing your cheek softly. âgonna wrap those pretty lips around me, baby? âm so hard, need you to make me feel better.â he didnât expect to hear how needy he sounded, but he wasnât embarrassed, heâs finally got you- and he wants you to know how badly he needs you.
he guides your head towards his aching cock, a hand moving to grip your hair tightly. he angles his length towards your shimmering lips, rubbing the tip all over, smearing his pre-cum along your gloss. a low, rumbling hum reverberates through his chest, quiet curses leaving his lips. he finally forces the fat head of his cock through your lips, simultaneously pushing your head down along the length of his cock. the sounds of you gagging fills his chest with a sense of pride, forcing you to take all of his thickness. it was so, so messy. saliva and creamy strips of cum dripped down the side of his cock, wetting your lips and pooling on top of his balls. he smiles at the sight, head lolling to the side, resting against a hard shoulder.Â
âmy pretty girl, canât believe âm finally havinâ you like this. i- mm i would worship you, if youâd let me. youâre so fuckinâ beautiful, baby, a walkinâ goddess. and your lips, fuck, those perfect lips.â his mind is all scrambled, the feeling of you sucking the soul out of him rendering him a blubbering mess, resulting in him pouring his heart out to you. smiling around his cock, you look up him, those sexy eyes of yours gazing into his- a silent reciprocation of his affection towards you. at that, your lips suction around him faster, tighter, coaxing him into filling your mouth with his load.
his breathing deepens, sweaty chest heaving. at this point, his suit is gone. he doesnât bother hold back his moans, deep growls and grunts that make curious spiders stop and listen in as they pass his lab, opting to not investigate what the big boss is up to further. but you, youâre a fuckinâ sight between his legs. mascara running down your hot cheeks, gloss, spit, and cum on your chin, running down your neck and between your cleavage. he didnât think you could get even more beautiful, but here you were.Â
âiâm âbout to cum, yeah? gonna fill that perfect mouth of yârs with my all my cum, ân youâre gonna swallow it like the good girl i know you are, ok baby?â his hips buck frantically into your salacious mouth, holding the back of your neck tightly to keep you anchored at the base of his cock, the tip of his cock bumping against the back of your throat. his actions betrayed his sweet words, hands gently running over your face, wiping away stray tears as his cock abuses your poor throat. he catches a glimpse of you sliding a hand down the front of your pants, pushing aside your panties to rub against your sticky clit.
âso cuteâ. he smiles, revelling in your soft whimpers and your shaky thighs- the squelch of the three fingers you plunged into you almost drowning out the slick gluck! gluck! gluck! of your throat. âfuck, baby, i can hear her from here. sheâs so wet just from suckinâ me off, isnât she?â your fingers speed up, his voice a sexy, deep drawl- lips quirked back up in a smirk, but it was short lived as he felt his balls tighten, orgasm threatening to take over him.
his leg bounces, your mouth was just so wet, so fuckinâ hot- he couldnât take it anymore. heâs waited so long to feel you around him, to see you take him so beautifully. his body tenses, a low growl of your name leaving his plump lips. his cum spurts out in steady streams, your cheeks puffing out from the sheer amount he unloads into your mouth. it drips out the side of your lips, you struggle to hold it all in, letting it drip down your neck.Â
you choke on the liquid in your mouth, your orgasm squirting out onto the cold floor of his lab. he laughs breathlessly, he was so whipped for you. watching his pretty, little, angel cum so perfectly for him. his cock lets out a few more spurts on your cheeks, twitching again when you struggle to swallow his load down. he wipes away the cum on your cheeks, dipping his thumb back into your mouth to let you lick the remnants off. he smiles softly, wrapping his arms around your waist to pull you back onto his lap, running hands up and down your back lovingly.
âs-so, dâyou feel better now?â
âmm, think thereâs just one more thing i need. spread your legs fâr me, baby.â
*por el amor de dios - for the love of god

AU: Darkest Nights
You wake up to the sounds of laughter in the bedroom, turning, you notice the side beside yours on the bed is empty. Where were the noises coming from? You sat up on the bed to see Natasha on the floor, a batman action figure in her hand and a toy car in the other. Her red hair was up in a loose braid and you could barely see the front of her face properly, but the one face you did see was a baby boy. Well â not really a baby more like a toddler. Except he wasnât turning two for another few months. His chubby, rose-tinted cheeks were puffed up and small but loud giggles erupted from him. Natasha heard rustling from the bedsheets and looked up at you to see that you were already up. âDid we wake you up, babe?â she asked, her eyes were on you but she still kept her focus on the baby, making sure he wasnât putting anything he wasnât supposed to in his mouth. Some toys they make for babies are too small, Alex was teething and liked chewing on his toys sometimes.Â
The corners of your lips curled into a smile, âNo,â you chuckled, moving your hair strands away from your face. âItâs past 10, I was bound to wake up by now.â You reassure her. âOh, good â I mean, itâs just you looked peaceful. For once.â you narrow your eyes as you throw the blanket that was draped over your body off yourself. âAnd whoâs fault is it that Iâm never at peace?â you retorted, getting up from the bed. She winced, âsorry, krasivaya.â you laughed at the sarcasm that lied beneath her words and lightly threw a smaller pillow from the bed towards her. âJerk.â she caught the pillow and set it next to her, âcâmere, baby.â her arms were long enough to reach up to your hips while you were folding the blankets. Alex squealed, his stubby little hands moved up and down in agreement. âSee, even our son wants mommy to play with us.â Natasha said, her hands grabbed onto your hips and pulled you to the carpet on the floor. âNatasha!â you shouted, playfully shoving her hand away, as she burst out laughing, the baby didnât know any better and laughed along with her.Â
âYouâre unbelievable. I hope you know that.â she smirked at what you had said before responding, âI think Iâm believable enough, how else isââ you interrupt her, âwhatever youâre going to say, donât say it. Iâm positive it isnât appropriate.â Natashaâs hand rested on your shoulder, âOkay, Iâm not that bad.â she paused, âmaybe.âÂ
âMomyy!!â Alex mustered up a word, sliding his mini spiderman toy over to you. âYou want mommy and mama to play with you, lovebug?â you smile, grabbing the toy and giving it back to him. He nodded. âAlright, you can be little spiderman, mama will be batman and ââ you turn to Natasha, âwhat will I be?â you ask. âAnd mommyâs barbie!â she excitedly says to the boy as she hands you a barbie doll. âA happy family, arenât we?â she cupped your face before pressing a soft kiss to your lips. âIâm barbie? Seriously?â she grinned without a thought, âno, youâre prettier than barbie, baby.âÂ
âYouâre such a sweet talker, darling.â you turned your attention back to Alex, dramatically gasping before speaking once more. âOh my goodness, where's spidermanâs car?â the baby gasped as if he was missing a car, âoh look! There it is!â you gave the car to Natasha before Alex got the chance to grab it from you.Â
âOh, no! Batman stole your car, spiderman. Go steal it back from him!â you accused Natasha and pointed at her, immediately, Alex crawled over to her and started to lightly punch her, in a poor attempt to get his car back. Which of course, didnât do much to her at all. âYou canât have this car, itâs mine now, spiderman!â Natasha took the car in her hand and raised it up in the air to where the boy couldnât reach.Â
The sound of glass shattering pulled both you and Natasha away from playtime. âNatasha, whââ you heard it again, except this time you saw the window beside your nightstand break. âGet the gun under the bed and take Alex.â her voice was stern, as if she was ordering you. Your eyes widened as fear crept up your spine, âNatasha, what was that?â you heard it again, but this time there wasnât any glass to stop the noise, it was clear that it was a gunshot. You pulled a box from under the bed and took a pistol out, grabbing Alex into your arms, you slowly stood up to not gain attention from movement in the bedroom. âDarling, Iâ where will we go?â unshed tears pooled in your eyes as your bottom lip quivered, âas of now, go to the bar. Look for Yelena, and sheâll know where to take you.âÂ
You gently touched her arm, âAre you not coming with us?â she shook her head, âitâll cause too much commotion, theyâll know youâre with me. Iâll find you. Iâll find you both. Donât worry, baby.â you blinked back the tears to stop them from dropping, âNat. you said this wouldnât happen, you promised that they werenât going to find us⌠I thought we were finally getting back to our normal lives!â she pulled the both of you close, kissing your forehead, cheeks, the top of the babyâs head. âI know, Iâm sorry, baby, Iâll fix this. Iâm so sorry, I love you both, so much. Trust me, Iâll deal with them and weâll come back together before you can blink, krasivaya.â Natasha kissed your lips once more, âI love you.â she wiped away your tears, âdonât die.â the smile you had faltered for a moment when you said that, knowing that there could be a possibility that for an instance something could go completely, and terribly wrong. âI wonât. Câmon, you know me better than that, baby.â you let out a dry chuckle at her trying to lighten the mood. âGo. Iâll be back.â Natashaâs protective hold was gone, you simply nodded. Another gunshot could be heard from the other side of the house, you didnât want Alex to cry so you covered his ears. âI love you too.â

masterlist
âââââââââââââââ
A brown head of hair follows you from your car to the apartment. It's an uncomfortable journey knowing you're back in Tokyo again, so close to a life that feels so distant from you now.
There are many boxes to unpack, and when accompanied by a young child, the task feels insurmountable. To credit her, she does make an attempt to help, picking out a few toys from one of the containers with a smile, though just as quickly becomes distracted by the prospect of actually playing with them. This does make things easier for a short while; you're able to unpack some dinnerware into empty shelves, folding down just one cardboard box before she's back at your side. "Mama!" She toddles to you with tears brimmed at her lash line, a doll in one hand, it's arm in the other. "Help, please."
You offer a soft smile, crouching and accepting the broken toy. It's easy to slot the arm back into place with some jostling (a manuvre you've learned from experience with this particular toy), and she's smiling once more, a shriek of excitement when the doll is returned to her in one piece.
Her expression lightens your mood, how beautifully she wears her emotions. There's so much innocence to children you hadn't expected before meeting her, so much joy. Her brown eyes are locked onto her barbie as she babbles, some nonsense, though some actual words do crop up - mummy, love, play.
You'd spent your entire pregnancy wondering what she would look like, whether she would take after you or her father, and to little surprise when she was handed to you, she was the image of Suguru. Even more so with age. Brown hair and eyes, and she has his nose too, with a calm temperament and warmth that you also accredit to him.
Being a single mother is hard, and seeing so much of him within her is bittersweet. He's the man you fell in love with, but he's also the man you had to leave. There's so much you've wanted to share with him too; her first steps, words, her first birthday. Despite this, you know even if alone you've raised her well, and she is so loved. You've brought her this far without sorcery, but now a blue flame surrounds her. She's an early bloomer in the cursed sense, and just as you'd feared, inherits her father's technique meaning she'll likely be a special grade... something you'd wished so deeply to avoid.Â
There was change on the horizon, beginning only a few days ago when you'd been told to pack these very boxes, and push your daughter into a future you hadn't willed. You feel sick when recounting the memory.
"No." The sight of his face brings a burning to your throat, a sinking feeling as if a bowling ball had been forced into your chest, dropping to weigh within your stomach. Two years in hiding, to end involuntarily by no one other than Gojo Satoru. White hair draped over his forehead, blue eyes meeting your own. They look tired, aged somehow, though you can't seem to care when that weathering is accompanied by remorse, lips downturned.
"Invite me inside." His voice is quiet, low. It's late, and you're sure he's exhausted, yet he's at your door instead of his own. There's a small spark of hope that perhaps he simply needs a place to stay, though this is snuffed out when you look back to his face. He knows. "Satoru, why are you here?" Your voice trembles on the verge of tears, but he doesn't comfort you, instead remaining silent as you try to steady your breaths, eventually regulating them enough to step to one side. There's some hesitance as he walks past you.
You lead him to the livingroom, and as he trails behind his gaze wonders the painted walls of your entryway, pictures decorating an otherwise bland white. Most of which appear to star a small child from the ages of infancy to two; the same dark hair and brown eyes that he recognised within his close friend. There's dimples in each cheek when she smiles with her mother's lips.
"You had a girl." He means it to echo a question despite already knowing, though it sounds to be a statement. Your eyes lift from the floor to meet his, and you nod.
"Keiko." Usually her name on your lips brings you joy, but telling Satoru only makes your heart ache.
"Satoru, please tell me why you're here."Â You swallow thickly, afraid of the news you're about to be privvy to. He offers little reprieve with his reluctance, and you expect the worse. "You have to come back, to Tokyo."
There's a numbness that begins at your throat, and slowly, like mould spore growing through a piece of fruit, you find yourself rotting before him. You're plagued with dread as you picture your daughter, only two years of age, opened up to a world you wished to shield her from. "Why would I need to do that?" You act as if you're unaware, yet you understand clearly. She's gifted, even if you hadn't wanted to give her this strength.
"She has Cursed Spirit Manipulation." When those words leave his lips, you realise you truly have lost this case. This is it, this is what she will be forced to use. Your jaw tightens as you form a response, though you're unable to begin when Satoru elaborates. "Two weeks ago, a small girl was seen chasing a grade four, and upon capturing it, the curse was ingested."
You frown. "Who reported this?" Satoru hears the panic in your voice, no matter how strong you try to be. Just like when you were teenagers, you feign confidence against him, yet in equal power, Satoru can see right through you.Â
"A grade three sorcerer working within this district reported it to the higher ups. They've decided her potential is too strong to ignore."Â You're staring at him wide eyed, and he feels guilt as he watches you grieve this life. Satoru wouldn't tell you how he'd practically pleaded with them to let her be a child before introducing her to the horrors of this world, because he didn't want you to know he'd failed you.Â
"What if I refuse?"Â "You know the answer, do I really have to spell it out to you? There is no other choice." His words imbue a hopelessness into you, and you finally give up, walking past him to take a seat on the couch. The cushions sink under you, and your hands rest upon each leg. There's one question you have left.
"Does he know?" Monotone, dead. Your tone sends a chill over Satoru's spine; he's never seen you so genuinely defeated. Even when he'd found out about your pregnancy, you held yourself together better than this. But even with all of Satoru's experience, his strength, he still couldn't empathise with that of parenthood. Megumi was the closest thing he had to that, though he understands that the relationship the pair share is nothing close to the love you would have for your own blood.Â
"You left with no word as to where you'd gone. If I told him it was to have his child, what would he have done?" There's some bitterness to his words, and you cringe.  "Didn't he question the fact there's a child with his technique?"Â
Satoru moves from one foot to the other, crossing his arms as he watches your meek state. You're slouched and sweating, and your eyes haven't lifted from the same patch of carpet for the past two minutes. Though with his quietness, your gaze lifts, stopping at his lips.Â
"He doesn't know."Â
You nod once, taking your teeth between your lips. This is worse than being lectured, you think, enduring the judgement of a person you value highly, feeling their revulsion of a decision you made long ago. "Don't you think he had a right to know before all of this?" You stay silent, your arms closing in closer to your body as if to hug yourself. "It's only right he hears it from you, before this goes any further."Â
Only, you still haven't made that call, and told him the truth. You watch your daughter walk toward the school, her hand in yours, while Suguru is none the wiser. It's a secret you knew would be revealed within the next few hours, unrevealed as long as you'd been able.
Shoko's leaving the lab when you enter the halls. You don't notice her at first, instead preoccupied by the small girl beside you, though when your eyes lift from the little fingers wrapped around yours, you stop dead in your tracks.Â
Not many things shock Shoko. She likes to think she's seen all, and likely knows most of what goes on even if only surface level, but when she sees you in Jujutsu High with a child clutching at your hand, she comes to a standstill, eyes wide like a deer in headlights.
Keiko takes a few steps, her little feet tapping on the hard floors, though soon notices her mother's halted action. "Mama, come on."
Shoko's brow raises, a sharp gasp on her lips as she pieces things together. The child looks to be around two, and not long before that you'd left - this must've been the result of that pregnancy test you'd requested long ago. And as she stares at her a little longer, taking in at the warm toned brown eyes, she realises why you'd left. This child had to be Suguru's, her features were far too akin to his to be coincidental.
She says your name, though it sounds foreign to her now. She wonders when the last time she'd called out to you was, and when you peer anxiously to her expression, she realises how you've matured, mellowed almost. There's a protectiveness she can sense, you're definitely more closed off, but that's understandable considering the fact you've been gone and likely without much social contact.
"Hi." Part of you had hoped for a better reunion, but with how things went it was only understandable that Shoko wouldn't be running to hug you anytime soon. "Youâre a mother, huh?" There's little goosebumps over your skin as you swallow, nodding slowly. Of course, she'd remember your offish self asking her for tests, and she'd be able to piece things together. "What's her name?"
You knew Shoko wouldn't bring harm to you both, and if she's worked out your daughter's father, she wouldn't press you on it. "It's Keiko." You look down to your daughter, who's holding your hand a little tighter in the presence of a stranger. Funny, growing up you'd thought these people would be your children's family, yet here your baby is, backing up at the sight of a woman she'd never met.
"Keiko," Shoko crouches to her eye level. "That's a beautiful name." Shoko offers her a smile, and Keiko's hand loosens up a little, though it's still clammy on your palm. "Thanks." It's spoken quietly, and the 'th' sounds more like an 'f', but it's coherent enough.
"What are you both doing here?" Shoko's looking back to you now, standing up to meet your level once again. Mouth opening, your free hand comes to your arm to fiddle with your jacket. "The higher-ups found out about her technique." "Manipulation?" You pause. So, she's figured it out. "Yeah. They want him to show her the way, I guess." "But he doesn't know." "No, he doesn't." You offer her a half smile in hopes she would forgive you. "I was kind of hoping he'd find out before i got here, but he hasn't."
Shoko wants to tell you it's your job to tell him and that you need to face your fears, but she keeps her mouth closed in order to save your feelings. Instead, she nods quietly, arms crossed. When the air is too stale to bare any longer, you breathe it in, deciding to take you leave before you would combust on the spot. "I've got to find Yaga, we have a meeting." Your words are rushed and you almost stumble as you walk past her.Â
"Who was that?" Keiko questions in her own muddled words, and you force a happy expression when meeting her gaze. "Mama's old friend, from school."
Suguru sits back in the beat up couch, bitter instant coffee still swirling as he places it on the low table. The staffroom has definitely seen better days, he was sure this furniture would've been used back when he'd attended Jujutsu High, with stains and scratches over old wood, rings from mugs of coffee much like his own. Budget cuts had meant money was syphoned into other things, much less into staff.
"A meeting, with Yaga?" He repeats Satoru's words carefully, brow creased. He watches as the brown liquid begins to settle, a few bubbles at the surface meeting in the middle. "Yeah, something about a new student." The explanation makes much less sense to Suguru, because this year he's supposed to be taking on more missions, and offering a supporting role rather than holding his own classes. "And why would that concern me?" His voice is tired, he's tired. The school is working them all into an early grave, he thinks. What was supposed to be more of a career break had somehow turned into more work than he's ever had, and he realises the only way out of this is to leave Jujutsu society for good - much like you did.
Suguru can't deny he feels responsible for your sudden leaving. As if a phone call would've fixed anything between you after he'd not only slept with you, but left you to fend for yourself afterward too. He thinks about you a lot, much to his own distaste. It's his fault you're not here, after all.
"You'll be teaching them part time." Suguru outwardly sighs, a hand flying up to massage his temples. "Of course." It was drenched in acidity, and Satoru shifts. He's still standing, muscles tense as he watches his friend stress himself further. It's been a difficult few years, and he is sure Suguru is at the end of his tether. Satoru worries that your return might just be the thing that breaks him entirely.
"What do you know, Satoru?" When he zones back into the room, glancing away from the disgustingly beige walls to peer into his friend's brown eyes, he realises he'd worn his concerns too evidently. "Not much," He lies, something he's found himself doing consistently as of recent. "She's young, though. A child." He tries to soften the blow by letting on that piece of information now, because he knows Suguru will be disgusted to find out they're having him begin training with a child who cannot yet read, let alone understand what a curse is.
"How young?" Suguru's intuition tells him that something is awry here, but he can't place his finger on what exactly it is. Satoru is definitely withholding something important, and he understands that he's not going to find out what until he's in Yaga's office. "Fine, don't tell me."
With a sigh, he pushes himself up from the couch, all the while Satoru is stood in silence, that pitying look he hates being bestowed unto him. The coffee on the table is going cold, not that Suguru has much of a stomach for it anyway.
a/n: soooo yes, reader ran from her problems (sorrrry) but it looks like suguru is about to find out everything...

A/N: I was inspired a lot by the Bama Rush documentary and couldn't get the idea of a sorority girl in GOD U out of my head. Let me know if you want a part 2.
Warnings: some swearing
Words: 5.2k
Series Masterlist
Future probability cognition, the ability to see potential future outcomes, was usually a nice power to have. At 7, I knew my parents were going to get divorced before either of them considered filing. At 9, I knew my mother would focus all her energy on the agency. At 12, I knew that my older brother would take a head of surgery job in Buenos Aires, escaping the chaos at home. Despite this history, nothing could have prepared me for my second year at Godolkin.
The first day back on campus was uneventful: I survived a grueling early morning Pilates class that I envisioned would put me in Sydneyâs, the Si Chi president, good graces and, later in the afternoon, I settled an argument between two Si Chi juniors by predicting that brunch would be the most successful rush event.
Being (one of) the first black high-ranking members of Si Chi could be a full-time job.
As I was re-reading the chapters for Brinkâs class, my V-Phone buzzed with a text from Leah, one of the seniors in the sorority.
L: Do you know Emma?
I quickly typed back: Which one? Wallace or the girl who got the botched nj in SK?
L: Neither. Short girl with curly blonde hair. Sheâs here 4 u.
The yelp that left my mouth would have been embarrassing if anyone else was in the house study room. Quickly, I tucked my book under my arm and ran into the ivory and wood-paneled foyer complete with Tiffany crystal chandelier and faint instrumental piano music playing through the Bluetooth speakers. At the door, Leahâs arms were crossed over her lavender babydoll dress as she smiled fakely at Emma, who looked more apprehensive than usual.
âEmma, hi, I thought I told you to text me when you got here!â I greeted as I approached the two.
Emmaâs expression relaxed when her blue eyes landed on me. âSorry, I got distracted and then I got lost trying to find you.â
I glanced at Leah, who shot me a questioning look. âThanks, Leah, I can take it from here.â
Leah shrugged, turned, and teleported into thin air. Emmaâs eyes widened again as she stepped further into the house and I closed the door behind her.
âSorry about Leah; sheâs cagier than usual because she couldnât get a refill on her favorites,â I explained.
âItâs fine, Iâm just glad you arenât like that,â Emma admitted.
I paused to finally hug her and she nearly crushed me as she wound her arms around my middle. It felt like forever since I had seen Emma, even though it was at my dadâs annual 4th of July barbecue. When I pulled away, Emma eyed the book in my hand.
âYouâre reading before school starts. Nerd,â she teased.
I playfully pushed her shoulder. âWeâre in college, we have to take school way more seriously now. Besides, a requirement for Si Chi is at least a 3.8.â
Emma tapped her chin. âLet me guess, you have a 4.0.â
I smiled and tugged her further into the house. Of course, I had to give her a tour of the house and introduce her to the girls we passed. When we finally got to my room, Emma collapsed on top of my pastel blue comforter, dropping her bag on the matching rug.
âI know Si Chi is a top house, but you basically live in Barbieâs Dream House,â Emma beamed. âHow do I get in? What do I have to do? I will do literally anything or anyone.â
I rolled my eyes and set my book on my desk. âIâm glad you like the place but, you havenât even met your roommate yet. Whatâs her name again?â
Emma pushed herself up on her elbows with a huff. âMarie Moreau. I tried to find her on social media, but she doesnât have any: No X, no TikTok, not even an obligatory Facebook.â
Social media presence was basically a requirement at GOD U these days so it was a bold move for someone to show up without any. It could mean Marie was hardcore about her studies orâŚ
âShe might have strict parents,â I pointed out, sitting next to Emma.
Emma raised an eyebrow. âThey better not be weird, cult-y parents. I guess that would be my luck too: have a psycho roommate my freshman year.â
âHey, no one could have had it worse than me: a slob who always had boys over and threatened to gut me in my sleep,â I argued.
âBut, you saw all of that coming,â Emma argued.
I shook my head. âOnly the part where she stood over my bed with a knife in hand.â I sighed and pressed my hands into the covers. âIâm so glad I donât have to deal with that ever again.â
âReally, because some of these girls are giving unhinged,â Emma replied.
âThe nice thing is I either pick up on the signs or âseeâ their breaking point,â I explained.
Emma nodded and pushed herself off my bed to start exploring my room. As she started messing with my checkered Moschino teddy bear figurine, my phone buzzed on my desk. When I grabbed it, I saw it was a video call from Cate.
âHi, whatâs up?â I greeted, holding the phone at the most flattering angle.
âIâm trying to entertain myself while Luke preps for training,â Cate admitted.
âWhat, youâre not totally entertained by your star boyfriend?â I teased.
Cate rolled her eyes. âNo, I canât wait for this to be over. Youâre coming, right?â
I shook my head. âSorry, we have a rush event at the same time, including a choreographed dance.â
âOoh, did you choreograph it?â Cate asked.
âI might have helped a little.â
âWell, Iâm pissed Iâll miss it but make sure to have someone send me all the cute videos and pictures,â Cate requested.
 âSure.â
There was some yelling in the background and Cate rolled her eyes.
âI have to go but weâll talk later.â
 âBye!â
When I hung up, Emma was staring at me with her mouth gaping, the teddy figurine dangerously close to slipping from her grasp and onto the hardwood floor. I crossed the room as quickly as I could and carefully placed the figurine back on my dresser.
âEmma, I love you but if you break anything, I will lose it,â I warned.
âYou know Cate Dunlap?â Emma asked slowly.
âOh, yeah, sheâs my peer mentor. Dean Shetty paired us up last year since our powers are similar,â I answered.
âSo, youâve met Luke Riordan? Like, youâve been in his presence?â
 âYes,â I answered slowly.
âAnd you didnât faint or throw up from his glory?â
âEmma, heâs a regular person. His powers are insane but he is also human, just like us.â
âNo, Iâm a regular person. Luke Riordan is, like, a demigod or something. Is he better looking in person?â
I hesitated and busied myself with grabbing my rush outfit from my closet and setting it on my bed. Then, I stared at my shoes, feeling Emmaâs eyes bored into the back of my head. I closed my eyes and focused on the event tonight, the potential sounds and people. Seconds later, I got a decent image of my Si Chi sisters and I dancing in front of the house, surrounded by freshmen girls in Princess Polly and House of CB. I focused all my energy on looking at our feet and tried not to groan when I saw red high-top Converse.
âEvery time,â I muttered as I opened my eyes.
Two more years, just two more years of going along and I would reap the benefits: a strong ranking, a decent contract, and my pick of the most eligible supes. I just had to keep playing the game.
I grabbed my platform red Converses and set them in front of my bed, sheepishly turning to Emma. âYes, Emma.â
    She squealed. âI knew it!â
I laughed at her joy as she bounced in her Vans. âGo to the training today and see for yourself.â
Emmaâs expression deflated slightly as she walked closer to me. âI wish you could come, you could introduce us!â
âThere will be a next time,â I stated.
âPromise?â She held up her pinky and eyed me as I slowly wrapped my manicured one around hers. She opened her mouth but was cut off by an alarm going off on her phone. âShit, I have to go film a video!â
âYouâre still doing Little Cricket?â I asked.
Emma shushed me loudly and her eyes filled with panic. âNot so loud and definitely not in this house!â
The girls probably already know all about it, I thought.
I flipped my waist-length box braids over my shoulder and laughed as she rushed towards the door. âYou donât know where youâre going, let me walk you out!â
She paused for a split second and gave me some time to catch up to her. However, I led her through the quickest route back to the front door and she gave me a quick hug before she took off. I laughed as I closed the door behind her.
âSome things never change,â I mused.
When I got back up to my room, I realized she left her backpack and groaned. She would have to learn to be more responsible if she was going to survive more than a week here. So, I grabbed my purse and her backpack before traipsing the campus. Fortunately, Emma had texted me her dorm information before she got on campus.
âIn case of an emergency,â sheâd insisted.
The freshman dorms were not as bad as I remembered them but I cringed at a few musty speedster jocks I crossed in the hallway. A brief premonition helped me duck to avoid an ice userâs power going out of control when I finally made it to Emmaâs door. First, I rapped on the door three times.
âEmma, itâs me, you really have to keep a better eye on your stuff!â I called.
After a few seconds of no answer, I knocked again.
âSeriously? I canât always be looking after you,â I teased.
Finally, the door swung open, revealing a pretty black girl with big brown eyes and long brown dreads that were pulled partly away from her face. Her eyes widened at me and I smiled.
âSorry, Iâm looking for Emma, she left her bag in my----â
Emma cut me off, appearing next to the girl, âI was wondering where that went, thanks!â She grabbed the bag from me.
âOh, uh, come in,â the girl said, stepping aside.
I nodded and wandered further into their dorm. It was small, like most freshman dorms, but Emmaâs side offered pops of color and coziness. The other side was more basic, probably because the girl just moved in.
âMarie, this is Y/N, my best friend, Y/N, Marie,â Emma introduced as she plopped onto her bed.
I turned to Marie and extended a hand. âNice to meet you.â
She hesitated slightly before shaking my hand. âYou too.â
âDonât worry, Marie, youâll get used to her hotness,â Emma advised.
My cheeks warmed as I whirled around to my friend. âEmma!â
  âItâs true!â
The embarrassment floated in the pit of my stomach as I faced Marie, who looked somewhere between surprised and amused. âSorry about her, she speaks without thinking.â
âItâs okay. How do you two know each other?â Marie asked.
âHer mom represents me,â Emma answered.
  âOh.â
âSheâs the one who helped encourage me to make a YouTube channel and is helping me get into more commercials until my big break,â Emma continued.
I sighed as I sat in Emmaâs desk chair. âWeâve known each other since I was four and she was three.â
âDo you want to be an actor too?â Marie asked.
I shook my head. âI tried it when I was little but it wasnât for me.â
Emmaâs eyes lit up and she sat up on her bed. âYou should have seen her, she was so cute! She was that toddler in that one diaper commercial----â
  âEmma,â I softly begged.
   Marie laughed. âNow, Iâm curious.â
âPlease donât look it up, itâs not worth it anyway,â I insisted.
Marie shrugged and sat on her bed. âMy curiosity might get the best of me.â
âWhy did you have to mention that stupid commercial?â I whined at Emma, who laughed at my pain. âAnyway, whatâs your major?â
    âCrimefighting,â Marie answered.
    I straightened up. âMe too.â
âSo, youâve had classes with Brink? How is he? Whatâs he like?â Marie rambled.
âWell, heâs really tough on first years and makes his tests almost impossible to pass,â I admitted.
    âReally?â Marie asked.
âBut, I can help you if you want; I did pretty well last year,â I offered.
As soon as the words left my mouth, I questioned where they came from. Marie was a complete stranger, yet she was one of the easiest people to talk to. Normally, I stumbled over my words in front of new people, and this wasâŚnew.
âThat would be great, thanks,â Marie replied.
Emma leaned forward. âY/N, you are way too modest. She was in the top ten of the first years last year and she has a peer mentor and meets with Brink on a regular basis.â
Marie snapped her attention to me. âWait, what?â
I shook my head. âShe makes it sound more impressive than it is.â
âNo, Iâm not; she hangs out with the Top Five all the time.â
   âTop Five?â Marie asked.
Emma and I turned to her, stunned.
âYou donât know what the Top Five are?â Emma asked slowly.
Marie shook her head, growing tenser the longer we looked at her.
âGodolkin ranks all the students based on their Q score, which is basically the strength of their powers, academics, and social media engagement. The Top One Hundred are the only ones published every day,â I explained.
âAnd the Top Five are the only ones everyone really cares about since theyâre the ones most likely to make it into the Seven,â Emma added. âItâs on the GOD U app.â
âI donât have a phone,â Marie admitted.
Emma balked at her. âHow have you gone this far in life without a phone?â
Marie shrugged. âMy parents wouldnât let me have one.â
    âWhat about emergencies?â I asked.
âSomeone else always has one,â Marie countered.
Something was off about her statement and I knew that if I focused on it long enough, I would get a premonition about her. However, I decided that it would be rude to do that in conversation and tabled it for later.
âYouâll get through it,â I said.
âSo, what ranking are you, Y/N?â Marie asked.
   âLast I checked, I was number twenty,â I recalled.
Marie and Emmaâs eyes widened at me, and I shrunk a little under their gaze. It really was not that impressive considering how intense the nineteen other people above me were.
âThatâs amazing!â Emma cheered, leaping off her bed and hugging me.
âHow did that happen?â Marie asked gently.
When Emma pulled away, I replied, âWell, right before summer break, I had a premonition about a case Brink had the class working on all year.â
âYou solved a crime?â Marie concluded.
âI just helped with a tip,â I insisted.
âPlease, Y/N, donât act like you havenât solved cases before,â Emma stated.
I narrowed my eyes at her and Emma smirked in reply. Marie held up her hands and shook her head.
   âWait, as in plural?â
âItâs really not a big deal. With all the forensics, psychology, and ethics classes youâll take, youâll be solving them too.â
Marie looked unconvinced but did not push it. âSo, whatâs your ability? Iâm sorry if thatâs rude to ask.â
âNo, itâs fine. Future probability cognition, I can see potential outcomes for the future,â I explained.
    âThatâs amazing,â Marie complimented.
âEh, a lot of times it means I get blurry images in my head but itâs helpful sometimes. What about you?â
     âBlood manipulation.â
âWhoa, no offense, but that is such a supervillain power,â Emma thought outloud.
       âEmma!â
        âI said âno offenseâ!â
Marie laughed. âItâs okay, I get why people would think that.â
âCan you give us a demonstration?â Emma asked.
Marie nodded and grabbed a switchblade from her cargo pantsâ pocket. In a graceful motion, she cut one of her palms and held it out in front of her. Seconds later, a circle of blood floated in the air like water, swirling each way. Marie smiled at our expressions and the blood slowly flowed back in her palm and the mark healed.
      âThat was awesome!â Emma cheered.
âI think Brink will like you,â I added.
âThanks. I think itâs your turn, Y/N,â Marie said.
I hesitated. âWell, mine is definitely not as impressive as yours and I canât promise Iâll see anythingâŚpositive.â
    âThatâs okay,â Marie insisted.
âYou can use me as a demonstration,â Emma offered.
I turned to her and closed my eyes. My mind wandered to images of her face and the sound of her laugh. Eventually, I saw an image of her rolling around her dorm bed with some guy. Then, all of a sudden, she was small and---    âAAAH!â I jumped from my seat, both underclassmen looking at me confused.
âIs it that bad?â Emma asked.
My eyes looked everywhere but my best friend and my hands unconsciously flexed. âWhatever you do, do not bring a guy here in the future.â
âYou donât want me to get laid?â
âI donât think you would want to experience what I just saw.â I shivered at the thought.
âHave your powers made you respond like that before?â Marie asked.
I nodded. âItâs rare, though, and I have help to get a handle on it.â
Slowly, I sat down and focused on the orange circle rug on the floor. Suddenly, I wished Cate was there to wipe that premonition from my memory. My stomach churned and I swallowed thickly.
âOh, Marie, you have to come to the training with me today,â Emma announced.
     âWhat training?â
âThe Top Five have public training at the beginning of every year. This year, Luke Riordan is up first,â Emma explained with a grin.
âLukeâs a big deal?â Marie asked.
âHell yeah, heâs number one!â Emma chastised.
Marie turned to me. âAre you going?â
I looked up at her and wondered if she seemed kind of hopeful. âNo, I have to do rush tonight.â
âOn top of everything else, she is also the secretary of Si Chi, the top sorority on campus,â Emma bragged.
âWow, are you always this busy?â Marie asked.
âNot always. Things calm down once rush is over.â My phone beeped in my bag and I grabbed it. âSpeaking of which, I have to run and get ready.â
âBut you already look nice,â Marie commented.
âThanks, but I need to be up to Si Chi standards. Have fun at the training and Emma, please try not to act up too much.â
âI canât control what will happen once his clothes burn off.â
âWhat?â       I shook my head. âIâll see you around.â
The next day, I was shocked awake by a series of texts from Emma.
E: Emergency, pls come 2 my dorm.
E: Srsly, Marie needs ur help.
Immediately, I wondered my Marie would need my help. When I reached out to Emma last night, she was busy gushing over Luke and never mentioned any issues. Also, I didnât see any posts about her on social media which calmed my nerves.
After texting her I would be there soon, I slowly pushed myself to sit up in my head and pushed my silk sleep mask up over my scarf. Then, I meditated for a few minutes, breathing through all the chaotic thoughts and scenarios that included strangers and people that I knew. Just when my temples began to throb, I stopped and made my way into the en-suite bathroom.
About thirty minutes later, Emma shoved her dorm room open and pulled me in. She was wearing a gray GOD U t shirt and matching shorts, her curly stuck up in random places.
âWhere the hell have you been?â she whispered.
âI got here as soon as I could,â I defended. âWhatâs going on?â
Marie stood from her desk, a deep frown on her face, and made her way towards us. âIâm not in any Crimefighting classes; itâs all performing arts!â
I cocked my head to the side. âThatâs weird. Can I see your schedule?â
âItâs on my phone.â Emma handed it to me and I started scrolling through Marieâs schedule.
âDid you register for any performing arts classes?â I asked.
âNo, I registered for all the first-year Crimefighting classes,â Marie insisted.
The frustration was thick in her voice and I wondered what was keeping her from punching a hole in the wall.
âIs there anything I can do?â Marie asked.
âSorry, I donât know. Iâve never heard of this happening.â I paused for a moment and smiled. âBut I might be able to help. I have a meeting with Brink today and if you come with me, I could introduce you and we could get this all figured out.â
âReally? Do you know how it will go?â
  âLet me try.â
I closed my eyes and focused on Brink, the Crimefighting building, and Marie. The images were as blurry as a Monet up close and all the audio was muffled as if everyone was speaking underwater. When I opened my eyes, I shook my head at Marie.
âLooks like itâs up to fate,â I commented.
Marie deflated and I did not know whether to comfort her or not.
âIâm sending good vibes your way,â Emma offered.
âThanks, weâll need it,â Marie replied.
As much as I wanted to push back, I did not like not knowing how this would turn out. My heart drummed in my ears later that day as we walked to the Lamplighter building. At the very least, the sun was beaming on everything, making Godolkin look shinier than usual. It was the perfect day for the white cherry-printed sundress and denim jacket I wore with platform white sandals. My braids flowed freely around me under the cool breeze.
When we walked into the building, I let out the breath I did not know I was holding in.
  âYou okay?â Marie asked.
  âYeah, why?â I replied.
âYour heart rate picked up,â she observed.
I paused and looked at her. âYou can hear my heartbeat?â
She nodded. âSorry, I know thatâs kind of weird.â   âNothingâs weird at this school but, thatâs good to know,â I assured.
I made a mental note to be more intentional in meditation as I led Marie to Brinkâs office. The Lamplighter building was practically empty since most students were sleeping off hangovers. However, Jordan Li wasnât most students and was at their usual post, the desk outside of Brinkâs office, eyes focused on their laptop. They were in their feminine form, hair slicked back in a low ponytail.
A small smile etched its way on my glossed lips at the sight and I turned to Marie, whose eyes widened at Jordan.
âLet me do the talking,â I whispered.
 âSounds good,â she answered, nodding.
As soon as we got in front of Jordanâs desk, I waved my hand in front of their face to no avail. With no choice, I grinned as I slammed my hands on the desk and called their name. Immediately, Jordan jumped in their seat, yanking their earbuds out as they exclaimed an expletive.
I laughed as they rolled their eyes at me.
  âSeriously, freshie?â Jordan commented.
âYou canât call me that anymore, Iâm a sophomore,â I sang.
âIt doesnât have the same ring to it,â Jordan teased.
My cheeks warmed at their words and I gripped my Longchamp tote closer to me in an attempt to get a grip on myself.
âBy the way, I loved your little dance from last night,â Jordan added.
  âYou saw that?â I rasped.
âRushtok is so big that no one can escape it.â Jordan glanced at their laptop. âYouâre early, as usual.â
âI like to be punctual but, I also have someone who might be your new favorite freshman,â I replied.
   âImpossible,â Jordan scoffed.
I nodded to Marie, who slowly moved to stand next to me. âThis is Marie Moreau. Marie, this is Jordan Li, Brinkâs TA.â
Jordan glanced at Marie, a smirk disappearing from their face. âHi.â
âHi, itâs so nice to meet you. Youâre so awesome; your powers are incredible,â Marie confessed.
Jordan smirked. âIâm glad I impressed a freshman.â
Marie looked taken aback and glanced at me.
âI brought Marie with me since thereâs been a mix-up. She applied for Crimefighting but sheâs in all the performing arts classes. So, I was thinking that youâd be able to help,â I explained.
Jordan looked back at their laptop and started typing again. âI know, Iâm the one who rejected her.â
Their words hung in the air and I could feel a lump starting to form in my throat. As smart as Jordan was, they were either unaware of how deeply their bluntness could cut or they did not care. After knowing them for a year, I began to lean toward the latter.
  âWhat?â Marie muttered.
  âWhy?â I questioned.
âShe has no social media presence and, even though her scores are decent, she needs a following,â Jordan rattled.
âIsnât that a little biased? Do you know what her powers are? If you knew, I think you would be open to making an exception,â I argued gently. âBesides, she can still get a following online. With her face, it will take no time.â
As soon as the comment left my mouth, I froze. I had no idea why I said that, maybe Emmaâs tendencies had rubbed off on me.
âSorry, the decisionâs final.â Jordan did not sound apologetic at all and I thought I saw them trying not to smirk again.
âYou canât do that. Let me talk to Professor Brink,â Marie requested.
âThereâs no point, he leaves all admission decisions to me,â Jordan said. âYou should learn from your friend. Y/N here has ten million followers across her social media and solved the Glasgow Ripper case and a twenty-year-old cold case before she got here.â
Marie whirled around to me. âYou solved the Glasgow Ripper case?â
âI just gave them a tip and it was supposed to be anonymous,â I muttered.
âNothing is anonymous with Vought,â Jordan countered. âPlus, you led them to key evidence.â
âThey would have solved itâŚeventually,â I admitted.
Based on my original estimate, it would have taken them three years and I always felt horrible whenever they showed the victimsâ families on the news. The tension in the space was thick as Jordan and Marie glared at each other. I wracked my brain for something, anything to say.
Fortunately, Brink took care of the tension when he burst out of his office, gun in hand, and shot at Jordan. Marie yelped as Jordan switched to their male form and absorbed the shot.
  âWow, every time,â Brink admired.
âIf you keep it up, Iâm going to run out of shirts, sir,â Jordan replied, smiling.
Brink turned to Marie and me. âOh, Y/N, youâre here, early as always.â
âHi, Professor Brink. How was your summer?â I asked.
   âBusy. And yours?â
âGood. Um, Professor, I donât want to take too much of your time, but this is Marie Moreau and there was a mix-up with her schedule,â I started.
Professor Brink nodded and turned to Marie. âIs that so?â
Marie quickly explained the dilemma, narrowing her eyes at Jordan but was able to stay as calm and professional as possible. I glanced at Professor Brinkâs expression and while he looked pleasant, I dreaded his words.
âWell, if Jordan rejected you, thatâs final. I trust their judgment,â Professor Brink affirmed. âYou can serve as a hero in many ways; Crimefighting is a select group of students who show high aptitude in several areas. That does not mean anyone else is less valuable. Maybe we will see you on Dancing with the Stars one day.â
Marieâs face fell and her body tensed. I might have started crying if I was in her position but her eyes stayed dry. I gently put my hand on her shoulder.
âWeâll figure something out,â I muttered.
She did not look convinced and as I politely followed Brink into his office, I prayed that I would get some sort of helpful premonition. Then again, why did I want to help this girl? I knew her for less than twenty-four hours. Nothing was making sense.
Later that day, I practically ran a hole into my bedroom floor as I ruminated over my next steps. My meeting with Brink was unremarkable and I couldnât stop thinking about how to get Marie into crim. She was obviously a strong hero in the works, even if Jordan didnât see it. One way to help would be to get her into a decent house on campus since that was one of the only viable routes outside of making it into the Top 100 to get noticed on campus. However, Marie did not strike me as the sorority type.
Then again, I could help her with donors at fundraisers since they loved throwing their money to make themselves feel better. As I thought, my mind somehow circled back to Jordan. It was fun getting a rise out of them after everything last year. They were not as rude to me as they were to Marie, but they were still terrifying last year. They always had a critique for someone and had reduced numerous kids to tears before the first semester ended. Somehow, I impressed them last year and they started being nicer to me. It probably also did not hurt that I had befriended Cate.
âUgh, itâs hopeless!â I huffed, plopping onto my bed.
Even when I tried to get premonitions, there was nothing helpful; just Jordan and Marie arguing while I attempted to settle things.
What was this year turning into?
My phone rang, jolting me from my thoughts, and I answered without looking at the caller ID. âHello?â
âDo you have any rush shit tonight?â Cate asked.
I sat up and eyed her in the video call. âNo, all the presidents and VPs are meeting tonight so weâre on our own.â
âGreat, so youâre free to go out with us,â Cate concluded with a grin.
My heartbeat picked up at the thought of going out with Cate and the others. Any time I went out with them always ended in an interesting story, from the time Cate got us all out of a really embarrassing ticket to the time Andre and Luke drunkenly dueted âNever Gonna Give You Upâ in a Korean karaoke bar.
âI know that face, youâre thinking too much,â Cate warned.
âNot in a bad way, in a good way. Where are we going?â
âDonât worry, just wear something hot and meet us in the parking lot at ten.â
 âOkay.â
I hung up and set the phone on my dresser. Maybe this would help me clear my head or get me out of my head. Sometimes the thoughts could be suffocating but I would get a break tonight. I closed my eyes and wondered what would happen tonight. Slowly, clear images of a dark club and the sound of a thumping bass flooded my mind. The club was crowded but I saw myself dancing with Cate andâŚMarie?

Better Than Us
Being a woman is hard, and itâs not necessarily something youâd wish on another.
A/N: Comfort fic because Iâm sad and I have not stopped thinking about that scene in Barbie. Warnings: Mentions of sexism, mentions of self-loathing/body issues. Not really proofread. Genre: Angst/Fluff Note: I do not own the character Bucky Barnes or any other Marvel affiliated characters.
You do not have permission to copy or repost my work; however, you may like, comment, and reblog.
ââ
âCongratulations, Mom and Dad, itâs a girl!â The sonographer says, hitting a few more buttons on the ultrasound. âYour baby girl is looking great. Iâll get the sonograms printed off for you to take home, get you cleaned up, and get you out of here. Alright?â
You stare at the sonogram, watching as your baby moves around in your uterus.
Congratulations, Mom and Dad, itâs a girl!
Mom and Dad, itâs a girl.
Itâs a girl.
A girl.
Bucky watches you, and when you don't respond to the sonographer after a while, he turns to her and nods.
âThank you.â
She smiles and nods as she takes a wipe and cleans the gel off your stomach. When she finishes, she smiles and excuses herself to go grab the sonogram photos from the printer in another room.
You pull your shirt down and sit up on the exam table.
âYou all right, Sweetheart?â Bucky asks, concern laced in his voice. He gently run his hand through your hair comfortingly.
You lean into his touch before looking up at him and forcing a smile. Youâre attempting to be reassuring, but he seems to see through it, you think. Bucky lets it go, though, and kisses your forehead.
ââ
Youâre quiet for the rest of the day, and it worries Bucky. Usually after a doctorâs appointment, youâre giddy; you love getting news about your unborn child.
âBucky! The babyâs the size of a grapefruit now! Isnât that crazy?â
âBuck, did you know our baby has fingernails already? Wild.â
âHoly shit! Holy shit! James, come here! The baby just kicked!â
Bucky was always just as excited to hear about his child, and he was expecting to be celebrating finding out the sex. However, ever since the words âitâs a girlâ were uttered, youâd been quiet.
âCould she be disappointed?â Bucky wonders, but it seems so unlikely he pushes the thought aside.
When the majority of the day passes without you saying much or expressing any excitement about your daughter, Bucky canât help but confront you.
âY/N? Doll?â He asks, a little nervous.
Youâre sitting on the couch, fiddling with the blanket across your lap, and the TV on and ignored in front of you. You hum in acknowledgement, but you donât meet his gaze.
âDoll,â he says again, moving to sit next to you, bringing his hand gently to your face so that he can divert your gaze to his. âIs everything alright? Youâve been quiet since the appointment.â
You clench your jaw, obviously anxious. Perhaps a little angry with yourself.
âYouâll be mad.â
âWhy would I be mad?â
âBecause youâre gonna realize youâre having a baby with someone whoâs going to be a terrible mother.â
Bucky is taken aback. Youâre so sincere that it scares him.
âY/N, honey, youâre not going to be a terrible mother. Why would you think that?â
You look away from him to try and hide your impending tears.
âWeâre having a girl.â
âAnd that means youâre going to be a terrible mother?â Buckyâs eyebrows scrunch together. He is absolutely not following.
âNo, itâs not that. Itâs just. Weâre having a girl, and I should be excited, but Iâm not. Iâm going to beâno, I amâa terrible mother because Iâm upset Iâm having a daughter.â
Bucky is still not following, and his hesitance to respond pushes you to keep going.
âItâs not that I donât want a daughter. Itâs that being a woman really sucks. One day youâre a kid, playing with Barbies, playing tag, making up games no one else understands, and the next day youâre so self conscious about random things; and men look at you when you donât want them to; and people make fun of you for liking anything; and no matter how good you are at your job, people still question if you should have it.
âI remember the first time I was aware my stomach was bigger than it should be to be considered pretty. I was in the 5th grade, Buck. I was standing in line to throw my lunch away and go to recess, I looked down at my feet, and I saw my stomach. I remember sucking it in and never stopping. And when I told my mom, she didnât tell me not to. She didnât tell me I was healthy, and a kid, and that I was beautiful without sucking my stomach in. No. She praised me. Told me she did the same thing. Said it strengthens our abs and makes us healthier when it really messes with your breathing, and reshapes your body, and-â
You cut yourself off with your own tears. Youâre immediately pulled into Buckyâs arms as he moves to soothe you; a comforting hand slides up and down your back, soft kisses are pressed to your forehead, and sweet nothings and reassurances meet your ears.
When you finally calm down some, Bucky pulls away, grasping your shoulders and holding you just far enough away to look into your eyes.
âListen, I hear you. The way women are treatedâthe way youâre treatedâsucks. It really does. But itâs a lot better than when I was a kid, and it takes women like you recognizing that the way youâve been treated is wrong and working to make it better for your daughters. The fact that youâre upset for your daughterânot about herâmeans youâre a good mom. And I know youâre gonna do everything you can to instill confidence in her and let her be a kid as long as possible. And we are going to teach her how she should be treated, and we are going to teach her how to stand up for herself.
âAnd if we ever have a son, weâll teach him to respect women. Not to ogle or harass them. Weâll raise our kids to be better than we are.â
Buckyâs speech takes you off guard. Youâd expected him to tell you you were being dramatic. Youâd expected him to tell you that you should just be happy about having a daughter regardless of what that entails.
Youâd expected him to act like every man that he was not.
You wipe your eyes with the back of your hand.
âYouâre sure?â
âIâm sure.â
âIâm not a bad mom?â
âYouâre not a bad mom.â
A pause. You catch your breath; Bucky holds you close.
âHey, Bucky?â You say after a while.
âHmm?â He hums. He is gently massaging your scalp to comfort you as he holds you.
âWeâre having a girl!â You pull back to look at him, a smile across your face. Youâve finally processed the day, its revelations, and Buckyâs assurances, and youâre finally ready to be happy.
âWeâre having a girl,â Bucky agrees, smiling and kissing your forehead.

â Sam Kerr x reader
based off this request. i hope i did you justice :)
âBit cold this morning, are we Kerr!?â
Samâs head rose as the voice reached her ears. Her favourite hoodie had been missing from its normal spot and she was left freezing in the middle of the field, the morning sun no use. How did this happen? Sam was a routine person - the same socks at every game, the same seat on every bus. She wore her hoodie every morning she trained, placing it atop her bag the night before as to not forget it.
She stood midfield, her Aussie accent loud and clear as she let out an exasperated âI donât know where the fuck it isssâ at the sky. The team just laughed at her antics, chucking a ball at her feet and mumbling something under their breath about how it âwasnât even that cold.â
Though, it was an unusually frosty morning in Melbourne. The grass crunched under their feet as they walked across the field, leaving trails of green footprints in a sea of almost white. The Australian was racking her brain, where the actual fuck was it? The wind was beginning to bite, and she resorted to rubbing her hands up and down her arms just for some relief.
That morningâs training passed quick, and Sam eventually warmed up as she stretched with Kyra. She had formed a now loved routine: wake up, train, go for brunch with her girl. Y/N would swing by after training to pick her up, rolling down the window and smiling as she pulled up on the curb. She usually didnât get out the car, instead choosing to admire from afar and pick the most raunchy, explicit song to blast when Sam got close.
Itâs funny, you should see your face! A little bit of Megan Thee Stallion never hurt anyone...
She would pretend to be annoyed, but Sam knew Y/N loved the idea of the teamâs stoic team captain climbing into a car blasting âreal hot girl shit.â And Sam just loved seeing her happy.
As coach dismissed them, she wandered over to the changing rooms to grab her bag and meet Y/N at the car. However, she wasnât expecting for Alanna to clap her on the shoulder with a giggly I think youâve got your answer, Sammy.
Y/N stood by Samâs locker, chatting with Katrina and twirling Harperâs hair absentmindedly. Something had made her laugh, and Sam just admired. The way her eyes lit up and she threw her head back, her hand coming to her chest to fiddle with the strings of her hoodie.
But it wasnât Y/Nâs hoodie.
The slight frustration that had built up over the morning had lifted. She looked so goddamn cute, and Sam couldnât help but stare. She was walking over in an instant, her hands coming to rest on Y/Nâd hips as she whispered a small âhey, youâ from behind.
Y/N turned in an instant, excusing herself from her prior conversation to embrace Sam. She was warm and soft and adorable, and the star striker almost couldnât let go. By now, it was just the two of them. Y/N looked up, her eyes almost glassy.
âIâm so sorry, baby. Mini told me this was your special one and I was just cold, I really didnât knowâ
âStopâ
âNo, you love your routines. What if you really needed it, or-â
âStop,â she said, pulling Y/N to her chest. âTo hell with that. Do have any idea how goddamn adorable it is to see you in my clothes?â
Samâs hand came to Y/Nâs chin, tilting her head upwards. Her finger ran delicately across her lip as she sighed,
âDonât ever take it off. Wear it to my games, make that our routine now, hey?â
No words were shared as they kissed, Y/Nâs arms coming to wrap around her loveâs neck. In truth, Y/N had purposely seemed out this hoodie. She didnât know it was special, but it was the one Sam wore the most. The collar smelled just like her, and when she slept that morning without her girlfriend by her side sheâd feel less alone.
âSo, if weâre trading now⌠does this mean youâll wear my barbie hoodie?!â

Leap of Faith
Pairing:Â Spencer Reid x Female!Reader
Word Count:Â ~1k
Warnings:Â fluff
Summary:Â You use Halloween as an excuse to tell Spencer how you feel.
Square Filled:Â costume party (2022) for @cmbingo
Authorâs Note:Â any and all comments are appreciated <3
x
You tighten your pigtails so that they sit high on your head. You turn to look at how good your ass looks in the short shorts you bought on Amazon. The fishnet stockings are itchy on your skin but youâre going to be too drunk to care in about an hour. Usually, you make sure your makeup is perfect before leaving the house but this time, you make sure itâs messy and smudges at the corners of your lips.
Youâve been invited to a Halloween party at Rossiâs place where everyone else is going to be. Your costume is a sexy Harley Quinn. She is one of your favorite superheroes and Margot Robbie does an amazing job at playing her. Itâs cliche and cheesy to add âsexyâ in front of a costume but this time, you wanted it to be like that. You have someone to impress and itâs not gonna happen if your costume isnât sexy.
You even dyed your hair blonde so you can dye the ends pink and blue. Itâs a decision you made knowing you were gonna love it even after Halloween was over. Your shirt says âDaddyâs Lil Monsterâ which ends right below your breasts. If you raise your arms, youâll definitely show some underboob. Your entire midsection is showing since your shorts hang low on your hips. You donât care who sees you like this since youâre pretty confident in your own skin whether youâre one hundred pounds or three hundred.
You blow yourself a kiss and leave the bedroom, making sure to grab your metal bat on the way to the living room where your best friend is. JJ and Will decided to dress up as Barbie and Ken from the new Barbie movie. You havenât seen it yet but you know the scene where Barbie and Ken are rollerblading through the town in bright neon outfits.
âReady?â
Will and JJ turn you when they hear you come in. Will immediately looks away from you while JJ whistles.
âSpencer is going to go feral when he sees you.â
âYou think?â you grin.
âFor sure.â
âI call shotgun!â you shout as you run toward the car.
âNo, you had it last time!â Will runs after you.
JJ smiles at the dynamic between you and her husband. You two became fast friends which makes her happy. Youâre her best friend and heâs her husband. It all works out in the end. She walks to the car to see you in the front seat with a smug smile while Will is pouting playfully in the back. The drive to Rossiâs house isnât long since she lives close to him, and when you get there, you see Derekâs car. If heâs here, that means Spencer is. They do everything together. The only car you donât see here is Hotchâs. Itâs normal for him to be fashionably late for these kinds of events.
Penelope and Spencer must have volunteered to decorate Rossiâs place because this looks amazing. Rossi is not the one to go out and decorate to this degree. You three walk up to the door and knock, and Rossi opens it slowly. Heâs a modern Dracula without the fangs. He hates the feeling of things on his teeth. The years he wore braces were the worst.
âWelcome. Nice costumes.â
You step inside and see Derek texting someone by the front door. Heâs dressed as a cop because he waited until the last minute to put something together. He still had his old uniform from when he was a beat cop and decided to use that. When he hears people enter, he puts the phone away to mingle. He whistles when he sees you, and he brings you in for a friendly hug.
âDamn, Y/N. Who are you trying to impress?â
âYou know who. Where is he?â
âIn the kitchen. He booked it in there as soon as he heard there were cupcakes.â
You pat his shoulder as you walk away from them, dragging your bat behind you. Spencer is by the kitchen island eating a cupcake when you enter. Halloween is his favorite holiday because he loves decorating and dressing up. Heâs dressed in a puffy white clown costume. His face is painted ghostly white to match the color of the costume with dramatic eyebrows drawn on and a painted red smile. Even he can make something so creepy look cute.
âYou gonna save some for the rest of us?â you ask. Spencer looks up and starts choking as soon as he sees you in your costume. He grabs a water bottle and chugs half of it to get the food out of his throat. Once heâs calmed down, he rakes his eyes down your entire costume. âIâll take that as a good sign.â
âWow, you look great,â he stutters.
âThank you. I love your costume.â
âI made this,â he smiles proudly.
âI know. This is all youâve been talking about for the past couple of weeks.â Spencer grabs another cupcake and tears off the paper before taking a bite. Some of the frosting gets on his upper lip which he licks away, but there is still some left behind. This is it. This is your chance. You walk up to him and reach up to his face. âYou got a little something.â You wipe his top lip with your thumb and place the pad of your thumb in your mouth. âDelicious.â
Spencer is staring at your mouth and thinking heâd love it if your lips were on his instead. You can see the lust in his eyes so you take the leap of faith.
âYou got some more. Come here.â
You pull Spencer close and kiss him to take the frosting off that isnât there. Spencer grips your hips and pulls you closer as he kisses you back.
âWait,â you pull away from him, âis this okay?â
âMore than.â
You two meet halfway and kiss some more, not caring if you have an audience by the entrance into the kitchen.
âShe made the first move. All of you owe me ten bucks,â JJ grins.

Naruto Characters who should've been girl dads: a short list
Rock Lee
This man has PURE girl dad energy. He should've had a little girl that wants to kick ass just like him and he is in equal parts excited and worried because that's his little princess and he doesn't want her to get hurt, but he would help her train anyways, because he knows she can do it.
2. Sasuke Uchiha
Not a big fan of Sasuke tbh and ik he's canonically a girl dad but NO THE FUCK HE ISN'T this man nutted and dipped and left Sakura to raise Sarada by herself. In my opinion he should've been sentenced to village arrest in konoha and watched a little girl that looks just like him grow up and realize that he actually likes being a dad (because I think that would be hilarious)
3. Shino Aburame
Shino gives me vibes that he would complain to the manager of a restaurant that there are no baby changing stations in the male bathroom, because of course he would take his child everywhere with him. He needs to have a little girl so she can be a lil weird like him and he can validate every single one of her thoughts.
4. Shikamaru Nara
Shikamaru would just be too ironic for it not to happen. The "women are too troublesome" guy getting a baby girl and the moment he holds her she is the only one that makes sense in the room. If you have a problem with her, you have a problem with him first. "Shikamaru your daughter is too troublesome" No she's not. She's perfect. Shut up. 5. Kankuro
Kankuro is literally a girl dad without having a daughter. Makeup? Check. Dolls? Check. The only thing that would make a weird little girl that plays with barbies more powerful is if she could kick your ass while doing it, and he would 100% teach his baby how to do it. 6. Naruto Uzumaki
Tbh I kinda forgot about him because he already is a girl dad but I need to see Naruto, the creator of the sexy no jutsu, having a pretty little girl growing up and getting absolutely LIVID that she's starting to get attention from other boys. What do you mean she's at the age that she's thinking about dating? That's his BABY. 7. Neji Hyuuga
He's in this list literally just because he'd teach his baby girl how to take care of her hair. He WOULD let her practice hairstyling on him. that's it. 8. Juugo
If he had a daughter he would validate every single one of her tantrums. "You want to punch that lightpost? You feel like pulling a guy's heart out? Me too!" He would say. Also he'd carry her around his shoulders forever. Even when she's an adult. Also he's a disney princess x female rage mc lovechild that happened to be a boy so he's perfect

What do you think Class 1-A's action figures would look like in universe?
Non-quirk related question haha. What do you think class 1A's barbie-ken taglines would be? Not sure how to frame the question but for example for Tokoyami it could be, "This Ken is gothic" or for Ochako it could be, "This Barbie is on cloud nine" (due to her quirk)
I mean, I'm not sure if there is much to say on that. I feel like any taglines for actions figures would just be pretty generic, but I can talk about action figures.
Sato: Comes with a series of small snacks that you can feed him to cause him to bulk up and you pop open the stomach to get them back.
Koda: Just a simple figurine of him with a bunch of small animal models that you can play with as well. Comes with a button to play animal sounds.
Mineta: Orbs on the head are removable and the toy comes with arms that catapult the orbs forward. Possibly with a pointless target pad that no kid will use.
Sero: His tape dispensers can be pulled out like a rip cord, letting the action figure pull itself to whatever you put the doll on. Filling them with regular tape did not work well with test audiences.
Aoyama: Armor is made of a super reflective material that shimmers and has a flashlight in the belt to replicate his beam. Also comes with a lot of costume variants and accessories at Aoyama's instance.
Hakagure: Like Aoyama, her toy is very reflective, almost like a giant prism that gives off colorful lights when put up to any light. A stocking issue made it a hard to find collector's item for a time.
Ojiro: The tail can be curled up and then released, causing the action figure to fling forward. This curling can be used to make it hang on stuff as well. His tail also comes with "kung fu action grip", because of course it does.
Denki: Comes with a bunch of flashing lights and sounds for his electrical attacks. Has a swithcable head for his regular face and his low power face, much to Denki's chagrin. Batteries are not included for some reason.
Jiro: Definitely has some music aspect for it's main gimmick, like being able to use her jacks to plug your MP3 player into it to play music on it or having recordings of her songs on it when you press a button on it.
Kirsihima: Either has a bunch of plates on it that you can put on him to harden him up or you push a button to pop them out of the toy. Had issues in production because of how dangerous the hair spike was for kids.
Mina: Has an action figure with a lot articulation. It's main feature is a goo that comes with it that kids are suppose to put in and fire out of the toy. They fill it up by removing head and pouring the goo in, much to Mina's horror.
Shoji: The main feature would obviously be his arms. They'd either work like super stretchy arms or have a much of attachments that a kid could connect and stack on top of each other to add on whatever organs they want.
Iida: This figure with a set up buttons that can kick the legs forward, able to demolish any stack of cups that you happen to set up. He happens to be bundled a lot with overly complex, Ingeium themed cars, much to Iida's confusion.
Tsuyu: Has a lot of suckers on the hands and feet so you can stick it to surfaces. The tongue can be shoot out as well to grab onto stuff, kind of like those sticky hand toys. Yes, it is water proof and a popular bath toy for young children.
Tokoyami: Probabley has a standard figure with Dark Shadow with larger versions of it being sold separately. The parts of Dark Shadow can be removed and put onto Tokoyami for his armored form. It has a glow in the dark feature, without a doubt.
Shoto: Comes with fire and ice attachment to simulate shooting it out of his hands and feet. The scar was on the wrong side of a better part of it's run and it's occasionally bundled with Endeavor toys to help increase Enji's poor sales.
Momo: Her costume had to be changed on the figurine in order to be sold in stores. She comes with a massive amount of accessories to have her wield, along with little facts and tidbits about them. Momo demanded that her toy had some educational merits.
Katsuki: Probably has some spring power launcher in his arms that you can use to fire out plastic darts. Definitely has something that screams out catchphrases like "Die!" and "I'll kill you!" that would have to be rewrite and recorded several times to get them published.
Uraraka: Has a button that makes her hands glow like she does when she uses her powers along with has wench systems like Sero for her grapple hooks. Probably has a weird spin off line based around it, like Uraravity's Space Adventures featuring the Alien Queen Pinky.
Izuku: The most popular and with the most variations, though the standard ones glows with a button press, has spring shoots for the boots, and an spring in the hand to fire plastic air blasts. Sometimes comes out with special versions that come with other Quirks he had.

Batfamily Halloween Specialđ
Bruce was throwing his annual Halloween Costume Party, and let every year all the kids always dress up. Most of kids werenât in the Manor as they would arrive later to join in the spooky festivities.
Alfred was overseeing the staff with last minute decorations. Fake blood, cobwebs, fake skulls, fog machine. Anything you could find at your local Spirt Halloween Alfred had gotten to first. The DJ was finishing his last few technical checks and the catering company was always done with the last few creative dishes.
Meanwhile, upstairs Damian was fidgeting in his sit,âAre we almost Sister?â
âHold still or you makeup will get messed up.â Y/n was the only person home that could help Damian finish with his costume. After a few moments she pulled back and smiled,âAll done.â
Damian flung out of his seat and into his sisterâs bathroom to look at his makeup.
âWow, you managed to make me look the skeleton from that film Grayson made me watch.â
âJack, you look like Jack Dames.â She took a comb and finished smoothing out his hair. âWhatâs your costume?â He inquired taking the combing to fix his own hair.
She went into her closet and came out dressed as cowgirl Barbie from the movie with hat and boots.
âNow go put on your costume Dames Dick said heâs five minutes away with the girls.â She fixed her wig and adjusted her scarf. Damian walked to his room around the corner and changed into the costume his brother had gotten for him a few days ago.
When he emerged from his room, Dick and Y/n were laughing at a his phone and noticed Damian.
âAww Little D, you look so frightening.â
âTt. And what are you supposed to be Grayson.â
âAladdin,Koriâs running late but sheâs going to be Jasmine.â The three went downstairs which was now in full effect and Alfred greeted the siblings dressed as Count Dracula.
âNice fang Alife.â Alfred smiled at the three and offered them red punch in black and purple plastic cups. âWhy Thank you Master Richard, I must stay though they do take a lot to get used to.â
Barbara arrived with Cassandra, Stephanie and Duke all dressed for the party.
âAww Dami you look so adorable.â Steph fussed taking pictures of the youngest. He huffed and walked away into the main ballroom where the music was blasting but only a few people from Wayne Enterprise and Queen Construction had arrived.
âââ
Y/n snapped a few pictures with Duke and Barbara aka Spider-man and Kim Possible.
Jason arrived with Tim and Bernard not far behind him. âMay wanna close that vest up Dickhead your getting cold.â He teased Dick who rolled his eyes.
âITâs October Jason.â
âMy nipples arenât sharing at everyone entering the house.â
âJason knock it off.â Y/n huffed, Dick self consciously pulled his vested.
The group had moved to the ballroom mintues ago and more people from Wayne Enterprises and some League members had arrived. Jason stretched standing from the table,â Okay this Skywalker needs food.â
Stephanie and Cass followed dress as the Pink and Yellow Power Rangers.
Selina entered the room dressed as Marylin Monroe and waved,âWhy do glum kittens, your parents go trick or treat without you?â
Fred or Tim shook his head,â Theyâre not here yet, itâs just boring right now.â
Bernard played with the green scarf on his Daphne shirt.
She sighed and saw a several costumed adults and looked back the way she came. âWell looks like the Calvary just arrived. Have fun.â She slipped away into the now bigger crowd.
Members or Young Justice, Titans and Birds of Prey arrived in costumes and soon the kids mingled with their friends and went away from the table only living Y/n and Damian.
âYou should ask Uncle Clark why he didnât come.â She spoke up over the Monster Mash song.
âTt, if he cared he would have came sister.â He spat.
She stood up from the table and turned to him, âHeâs your best friend and heâs been through a lot. Maybe Halloween is just a lot for him, if you tell him how much it would mean to you to show up Iâm sure heâd fly here in a heartbeat.â
Damian didnât answer his sister but did glance across the room to Clark and Lois dressed as Frankinstein and the Bride who chatted with Diana,John and Wally dressed as a Fairy, Boxer and a Race Car Driver.
Damian grab his cup and pondered as he made his way to the refreshment table. He grabbed a few pieces of cheese and felt like his wished the night was over.
The music stopped as DJ announced the arrival of the hosts Bruce and Batmom entered the room dressed as Gomez and Mortica Adams. Once they thanked everyone for coming the party once again went into full swing and Damian slipped away into the gardens.
âDamian?â A voice called to him after what felt like a short while. Bruce sat next to him.
âAre you not having fun?â
He sighed,âYes father the party is very good.â
Bruce was silent for a few moments and then let out his own deep sigh.âYour sister told me you miss Jon. You should call him, Clark told me the only reason he didnât come was because he figured you wouldnât want to participate.â
Damian turned to his father,âReally?â
Bruce smiled at his son and gave his shoulder a squeeze. âHeâs your best friend, just call him.â After that Bruce returned inside and Damian remained seated.
He signed before looking at the ground.âKent,I know listeningâŚI thinkâI want you come to the party. Itâs ratherâŚdull.â He spoke barley in a whisper.
For a while it was just the distance sounds of Gotham noises and the booming sounds from the music inside and then a sudden gust of wind blew a few strands of hair.
âHi Damian.â Damianâs gaze fell ontop the floating teen before him in full costume.
A grin painted his figured,âAnd what are you supposed to be Kent?â
âUh Duh, Iâm Danny Phantom.â
Damian laughed and Jon rolled his eyes.
âCome on Iâm starving I heard Alfred has jalapeĂąo poppers.â Damian joined Jon as they headed inside.
Y/n elbowed her brother and Jason spilled his punched on himself. He followed his sisterâs gaze and they watch from a far.
Dick beamed as he got closer to them,âAww Little Dâs not lonely anymore.â
Jason rolled his eyes. âI donât know how he can be, you Mother Hen him to death every two seconds.â
Dick shoved Jason and the rushed of his punched spilled on his costume. Dick nervously sprinted away with Jason bolting after him.
âImbeciles.â Y/n sighed eating a eyeball cheese.

Systems, be kind to your âproblematicâ alters. No, I donât mean donât give them consequences for their actions, and no, I donât mean just let them wreak havoc on your life. But I do mean try to work with them instead of against them.
We have one of these problematic alters. Her name is Nyx. She holds a lot of the trauma and holds a lot of mental illness symptoms and addiction problems. She embodies some of the worst parts of our abusers. Nyx has intense emotions that she canât always control, she can be manipulative, nasty, mean, she takes front and suddenly weâve been on a bender for four days and sheâs been a total bitch to everyone who loves us and who we love. She self-harms, sheâs the reason for a lot of our near misses with suicide. When we say she can be problematic, we MEAN IT.
Weâve spent years fighting with her, trying to keep her in headspace, treating her coldly. She always breaks out of containment. Sheâs weirdly good at it. But recently weâve started thinking that Nyxâs propensity for breaking out is, in part, our brain trying to tell us something. Because after years of fighting against her, we decided to try something new. We saw her being angry and bitchy about a particular guy our partner was talking to, and instead of condemning her and locking her up, we asked her why.
Nyx didnât know the answer at first, so we waited with her until she figured it out. She then explained that she feels like expressing her needs makes her a bad person (which is almost definitely an internalized message from our abuser), but circumstances around this particular guy were making her feel really insecure, and in the absence of being able to talk about what her actual feelings are, she tried to get rid of the threat by being overall angry and negative about him. In essence? Nyx feels like she canât express needs because she feels like she should be able to meet them independently. So, the needs go unmet, and she ends up resorting to underhanded tactics to meet them, which doesnât always work because people canât read her mind, and then it builds up into a much bigger problem than it was originally.
And you know what? Thatâs something we can work with.
In one of our first acts of real system cooperation, we coaxed her into talking to our partner about how she felt, and she did, and she even wound up apologizing for her behaviour, on her own, without any of us making her.Â
We decided that instead of locking her back up, weâd give her the grace of letting her have a little freedom, and asked her not to go on a bender or self sabotage relationships. And you know what she did with front the next day?
She put on a cute outfit, put temporary pink hair dye in our hair, had a drink and a smoke at dinner with our parents and brother, and went to see the Barbie movie with our mom and nana. Not exactly the unhinged behaviour weâve come to expect from her. The most unhinged thing she did was the hair dye, and honestly? The colour is temporary and it looks good on us. She showed off the outfit to anyone who would give her the time of day, and it was honestly adorable. She was so happy and excited to feel like a cute girl! Itâs a very different side of her, but one thatâs been here the whole time.
And all it took was offering her some understanding, teamwork and trust. She hasnât gotten better overnight. She still has a lot of problems. There is still work to be done with her. But you know what did happen overnight? Sheâs agreed to work with us at all.
So yeah. Be kind to your problematic alters, because thatâs the first step of cooperation.

I donât know if this counts as an emergency request, feel free if to ignore/delete this if it isnât or if you donât want to write it
but Iâm just so angry right now that I feel like crying.
my mom passed away last march and her best friend is managing her trust. My or my siblings canât since weâre all underage. Sheâs been selling and giving away things that belonged to my mom without even consulting us first. She first sold the house sheâd been living in for the past 8 yrs (my parents are divorced so weâve been living with my dad) that we were wanting to buy. She tried selling my momâs antique Barbie collection that is INCREDIBLY sentimental to us. And she might be trying to sell her freaking wedding dress and ring. (Iâm sorry if this is ranting, Iâm trying not to)
could I request a Kirishima or Giyuu x reader who would be going through similar things? Just basically a bunch of angry tears
(Again, please ignore this if you do not want to do this.)
A/N: I'm so angry to hear about the difficult situation you're facing. Losing a loved one is challenging, and dealing with the management of their belongings adds another layer of complexity. It's completely understandable that you're upset and frustrated. In such cases, it might be helpful to seek legal advice. Given your age, you might want to consult with a guardian or someone you trust to explore options for managing your mom's trust more responsibly. Documenting your sentimental attachment to specific items could also be beneficial. If you need a listening ear, don't hesitate to message me. I trust that these small headcanons will manage to elicit the slightest hint of a smile on your face
EMERGENCY REQS MASTERLIST
Kirishima
Kirishima would be the epitome of emotional support. He might not fully understand the intricacies of your situation, but his empathy shines through.
Kirishima's anger isn't just about the items; it's about protecting your feelings and memories. He firmly believes in standing up for what's right, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. "Your mom's stuff means a lot to you, right? I can't stand the thought of someone messing with that."
He suggests a proactive approach, perhaps talking to the trust manager, explaining your emotions, and trying to find a compromise.
Kirishima would spend time with you, engaging in activities that could help ease your mind â maybe a training session or a casual outing.
Kirishima would certainly surprise you with a small gift â a custom-made keychain representing your mom's hobbies or a necklace with a pendant with her picture inside. "I thought this could be a little reminder of the good times. Whenever you look at it, you'll remember her smile."
The setting sun cast a warm glow over the city as you sat with Kirishima on a quiet rooftop. The distant sound of traffic filled the air, but for now, it was just the two of you. Kirishima, sensing your distress, suggested spending some time away from the chaos.
The gentle breeze rustled Kirishima's spiky hair as he spoke, "I get it, you know? Losing something important... it sucks. When my aunt got laid off, we had to sell a lot of stuff. I remember feeling so powerless. But your situation, it's awful. It's so fucking unfair."
He glanced at you, his red eyes softened with empathy. "But we're not powerless now. We can do whatever it takes. We ca meet her and tell her how much these things mean to you. We can contact the authorities to accuse her of adverse management of property. There must be something we can do. Whatever you decide, I'm with you."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Kirishima handed you a small, carefully wrapped package. "I thought this might help. A little something to keep your spirits up."
Opening it, you found a silver necklece with a pendant with a tiny picture of your mom inside. Kirishima smiled sadly, "Whenever you look at it, please remember the good times. We'll face this head-on, together."
Tomioka
Giyuu is more reserved, but his empathy is strong. He might not express his anger openly, but his actions speak volumes.
He listens patiently as you vent your frustration, understanding the depth of your emotions.
Giyuu doesn't express his anger openly but conveys deep empathy through his calm demeanor. "I can't fathom your pain, but I'm here for you. We'll find a way together."
Giyuu suggests a more subtle approach, like writing a heartfelt letter to the trust manager, explaining the importance of these items. "Words have power. Sometimes, they can be more impactful than actions."
He may take you to a serene location, like a quiet lake or a peaceful garden, providing a calm environment to discuss your feelings.
Giyuu, with his calm demeanor, took you to a serene lakeside retreat. The peaceful setting was a balm for your troubled soul, and together, you reflected on your mother's memories.
Underneath the canopy of cherry blossoms, you and Giyuu sat in silence, the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant hum of the lake providing a soothing backdrop. Giyuu listened attentively as you shared stories about your mother, each memory a delicate thread binding you to her.
"You have a beautiful way of expressing your love for her," Giyuu spoke softly, his gaze reflecting a mixture of understanding and empathy. "Let the water carries your sorrows away. Feel free to let it all out, darling."
As the sun dipped low, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Giyuu suggested writing your thoughts on paper, symbolically letting them float away on the lake. The letter, carefully crafted, held the essence of your emotions, a silent plea for understanding.
"You've been strong through this. Your words will find their way to her heart," Giyuu assured, stroking your nape slowly.

A Night to Remember
Trevor Zegras imagine :)
As always, slightly proofread, so read at your own risk. Not too many warningsâŚ.kissing and a few cuss words maybe? Let me know if you want a part 2 or au!!
âIâm not going on a date with him,â Her arms crossed over her chest as she glared at her best friend in front of her.
âHattie, please. He hasnât shut up about you for like 3 years. Give him a chance,â Jack begged the girl.
Hatton and Jack had been best friends since diapers, practically inseparable, following the other wherever that may lead them. Platonic soulmates was the best way to describe the pair. When Trevor Zegras came into the picture, however, Hatton naturally developed feelings that were slightly jealous of his and Jackâs friendship. She learned to get over that feeling when she realized the boy wasnât going anywhere. According to the boys they were the besties, but Hatton held up the fact that they were âthe original besties plus Zegras.â
Trevorâs personality couldnât be more different from Hattonâs. Where Trevor was outgoing, affable, and slightly obnoxious, Hatton was reserved, introverted, and didnât go out of her way to make conversation with people she didnât know well. She was the antithesis of everything that Trevor presented himself as. That didnât stop the boy from being hopelessly in love with her for some time. Hatton couldnât possibly keep count of the amount of times he had asked her on a date. The answer was always the same: absolutely not.
Jack was usually the buffer between the two, occasionally having to separate them from bickering like an old married couple.
âHeâs annoying,â Hatton persisted, her stubbornness was impressive to the average person.
âOk, I canât argue with that, but he said please,â Jack pointed out, suggestively raising his eyebrows as he reasoned with his friend.
âI did say please,â Trevorâs voice called from the living room.
âSee, he said please,â Jack couldnât possibly finish this conversation without Hatton agreeing. He had about all he could take of being in the middle of the two.
Hatton groaned as she ran her fingers through her hair in annoyance. On one hand, she couldnât give in after years of denying Trevor the chance to a date. She couldnât possibly compromise her reputation of being hard-headed. On the other, however, she wondered if he would shut up about it if she just agreed to one simple date.
Jack could tell she was debating it internally, which was a win anyway. He had never gotten her to think this far ahead about it. He watched as Hatton began to chew the inside of her cheek, a habit she had when she was indecisive. Jack wore a smirk on his face as she slowly came around to the idea of a date.
âThis is a one time thing, Hughesâyou can wipe that smirk off your face right now. This means absolutely nothing except that Iâm tired of him asking,â She set the record straight before anything else could be said.
Jack nodded his head feverishly as he squealed like a little girl. He ran from the kitchen and into the living room where Trevor was already on his feet doing a celebration dance. Hatton slowly removed herself from the stool at the bar and sluggishly walked to the boys.
âSo Iâm thinking tonight, Iâll pick you up at 8:00 and we can go get dinner at a surprise restaurant. After that we can go see the Barbie movie, and then after that we can go look at the stars,â Trevor rambled on as Hatton stood wide-eyed.
âDonât look at me like that. Iâve had roughly 3 years to plan this so I donât know why you act surprised that I have it planned out already,â Trevor was talking 90 miles per hour as he was collecting his keys, wallet, and phone off of the coffee table. He was dancing all the way to the door, but before he left he reminded Hatton of the time he would be picking her up.
âOh! Dress kind of dressy. The restaurant is a little more on the formal side!â He called before he shut the door. Jack was snorting from laughing so hard. He truly wished he could be be a fly on the wall for their date tonight.
âI fucking hate you,â Hatton deadpanned glancing at the time and noticing she had about 3 hours to get ready.
âI love you too, Hattie!â He chuckled as he ruffled her hair.
âYou should probably go get ready!â He called from the kitchen.
â˘â˘â˘
Hatton took advantage of the time she had to take a full body shower. She immediately felt refreshed as she prepared to do her hair and makeup. She decided on a more natural makeup look as it was her signature style. She matched a black t-length satin dress that had a slit up to her mid-thigh to a pair of nude heels that tied around her ankle.
The time was currently 7:42, but the knock from the front door revealed that Trevor could actually show up on time. Her mother sounded surprised when she opened the door, discovering that it wasnât Jack at the door.
âWell hey there, Trevor! Iâve got to admit, I was not expecting to see you here,â Hatton snorted sarcastically at the reaction. She made last minute touches on her makeup, spritzed on perfume, and grabbed her purse as she headed for the stairs.
Whatever conversation that was happening between her parents and Trevor ceased immediately, and she had to admit she felt like a Queen. Everybodyâs eyes were on her and she was surprisingly loving it.
âI feel like your blue is going to be too much with my outfit,â Hatton pointed at his royal blue jacket and dress pants.
It took a few seconds for Trevor to process a coherent thought, but he finally was able to clear his throat a little and get it out, âWow-ok, haha. Three years didnât quite prepare me for this.â
He nervously wiped his hands on his pants as he began to help her out to his bronco. Hattonâs mom was trying to suppress her smile, knowing it would only upset her daughter, but when the two young adults were finally outside she looked at her husband.
Hattonâs dad couldnât even pretend to be the tough guy if he wanted to. He had to give Trevor props for never giving up on his daughter. No matter how many times him and his wife had sat and listened to Hatton rant about the boy, her dad knew deep down that something would come of it one day. A boy isnât just hung on a girl for that long for the joy of it.
Meanwhile outside, Hatton was trying to be her usual self around Trevor. She was trying to push his buttons, but Trevor wasnât taking the bait. He opened the door for Hatton, ran around to his side of the vehicle and got situated in the driverâs seat, finally cranking the bronco. She started to make a snarky comment about his lack of socks with his dress shoes, but was immediately cut off.
âHatton, you look fucking gorgeous. Iâm not going to argue with you or aggravate you. I want this to be an actual date. Can we, I donât knowâŚmaybe pretend like we just met and have a clean slate for the night?â Trevor suggested, stealing glances at her as he tried to focus straight ahead on the road.
Hatton was taken aback by this behavior from him. Had she ever seen him act like this? She racked her brain to recall a time, but couldnât think of one. Playing with one of the rings that decorated her finger, she made eye contact with him and threw him a quick grin.
âOk,â She managed to breathe out, a foreign feeling of flutters in her stomach made her heart speed up slightly.
The drive to the restaurant took about 30 minutes, but the two managed to make small talk. Nothing too serious, mostly things concerning Hattonâs college, a few mentions of the Hughes family, and if Trevor thought he would be back at Anaheim soon.
Trevor pulled up to the valet where the attendants opened Hattonâs door and stole the driverâs seat from him. As the pair were walking to the front door, Trevor grabbed Hattonâs hand, intertwining their fingers. This sudden action caught her off guard, so she pulled her hand back out of instinct.
Trevor gave her puppy dog eyes and Hatton succumbed to his wishes, slowly returning her hand to his. He gave her a reassuring squeeze as somebody began to open the door for them both.
The restaurant wasnât busy, which Trevor was thankful for. He wanted something low key because he knew thatâs what Hatton would want.
âReservation for Zegras,â He smiled at the host as they welcomed them. They were taken to a quiet corner, only one other table around them was occupied. He pulled out Hattonâs chair for her. And they both began to look at the menu.
âYou know I really wasnât expecting this from you, Z,â Hatton glanced over her menu at the boy in front of her.
âYou highly underestimate me, Hattie,â He grinned and flashed a wink at her, âThis is barely the beginning of the date, too.â He reminded her.
The two ordered their their drinks and food and immersed themselves into a conversation.
âI know you mentioned college on the way here, but do you have any idea what youâll be doing once youâre done? Youâre in your senior year, right?â Trevor sipped his wine as he waited for Hattonâs response.
âYeah, I am actually. Iâm majoring in Architecture, so Iâm planning on applying to some of the companies around here in Michigan. I donât know, maybe Iâll make it out of here one day,â Hatton chuckled before sipping her wine.
âHave you thought about going somewhere outside of Michigan?â Trevor wasnât about to ask her if she wanted to move to California with him, but there was a little voice in the back of his head that was hopeful she wanted to leave Michigan. What if things worked out between them? Would she want to travel the country with him? Who knows, but for now he just needed to take this one date at a time.
âI mean, yeah, Iâve thought about it. I wouldnât have the slightest idea of where I wanted to go though. Probably where the most money is,â She trailed off.
âThatâs understandable,â Trevor stated at their server rounded the corner with their food.
The two continued talking as they ate, slowly learning details that they didnât know before. Trevor paid for the food and they were off to the movie theater.
Because it was later, there were maybe a handful of people in the theater. The two ordered a large popcorn for them to share, as well as two coke icees. Trevor tried to get Hatton to share that with him, but Hatton insisted that she didnât drink after people.
They found their seats and situated themselves in a comfortable position. The commercials were still playing when Hatton watched Trevor throw popcorn in the air and catch it with his mouth.
âTrevor, you would choose the Barbie movie to watch,â She laughed when he missed a piece and it went down his shirt.
As he wiggled around trying to free the piece of popcorn, he looked at Hatton and shrugged his shoulders, âWhat can I say? I like to think of myself as a feminist.â He flashed a smile as he freed the popcorn.
Throughout the movie, Hatton noticed Trevor was getting closer and closer to her. It started with them both in their respective seats, not getting into each otherâs space. About 20 minutes into the movie, Trevor rested his arm against hers on the arm rest. Halfway through the movie he placed his arm on the back of her seat, but didnât touch her. It didnât take long after that for him to pull the classic âyawn and stretch and put the arm around herâ move.
Hatton tried very hard to pay attention to the movie, but every time she glanced at Trevor he was already looking at her. Every time she got caught looking they would both giggle like high school kids and turn back toward the screen. She didnât know what possessed her to act like this, all she knew was that she was actually having fun with Trevor. Never in a million years did she ever think that would cross her mind as she spent time with him. It was refreshing.
The movie finished and the two loaded back up in Trevorâs SUV. âNow where exactly are we going to be looking at stars?â Hatton questioned.
âYouâll just have to see when we get there,â Trevor chuckled. The two were jamming out to early 2000s pop music when Trevor turned onto a dirt road that apparently was leading to nothing. He turned the radio down when they came to a clearing in the trees.
When Hatton finally looked out and saw how clear the sky was, she could barely peel her yes off of it long enough to get out.
Trevor grabbed some blankets from the backseat and took his shoes off. He climbed on the hood of the vehicle and onto the roof, setting up the blankets so they could lay there. Hatton studied him as he was doing so. She noticed that when he was focused he would stick his tongue out slightly. His hair was curlier toward the nape of his neck, and he hummed to himself quietly.
âAll I ask is that you take your shoes off before climbing up here,â Trevor said as he patted the blanket beside him. Hatton did as he said and tried her best not to flash anything as she climbed up. She snuggled under the blanket and looked up at the stars.
The two sat in a comfortable silence for a while, every now and then pointing out specific constellations that that found. Trevor slowly laced his fingers together with Hatton, a smile decorated his face as Hattie didnât object. He was tempted to pinch himself because he couldnât believe this was real. The moment he had been dreaming of for at least a few years was happening, and there was absolutely nothing that he would change about it. The night was perfect. Hatton was perfect. Even if she was only doing this to shut Trevor up, he couldnât help but think that something was going to happen because of it. He had a feeling that she had a lot more fun than she expected.
âCan I ask you why youâve wanted me for so long?â Hattieâs voice was barely above a whisper.
Trevor thought about it for a few seconds, wanting his answer to be as accurate as possible, âIn the beginning it was because I thought you were smoking hot. I mean weâve known each other for what, 6 years? My 16 year old self thought you were the most beautiful creature I had ever seen,â He glanced over and saw that Hattie was crimson red. He took note of how adorable she looked.
âThank you, I guess,â she laughed and looked back at him.
âAfter knowing you for a few years, I donât know, it was just like I had to have you. We have very little in common, we handle situations different, but youâre loyal. Watching you be friends with Jack, and even if you donât admit it, when we were becoming friends I just realized how deep and hard you love,â Trevor paused and realized he had been rubbing his thumb across her hand.
Hatton took this moment to speak up, âI do have to admit Iâve come out of my shell since knowing you. You donât take no for an answer, obviously, so it was either I start getting out of my box and hang out with you, Jack, and the boys or watch you steal my friend. There was no chance in hell I was letting that happen though,â It was Trevorâs turn to laugh now.
âI was scared shitless the first time I talked to Jack about it. Honestly, I thought you like him for the longest. It wasnât until you were giving him genuine advice about girls that I was sure there was nothing going on between the two of you,â Trevor admitted.
âSometimes I think that we were lovers in a previous life. I believe we gave each other all of our love in that life, so now that we found each other again itâs time to give other people our love. It would have been selfish to have him for two lifetimes,â Hattie winked at Trevor.
âThatâs a unique way to think about it, but I canât say that Iâm disappointed. I wouldnât have had this chance if you both were selfish with your love,â Trevor used his fingers to quote the last part.
He was going to say something else when Hattieâs phone began to ping. He glanced at his watch and realized that it was almost one in the morning.
âWhy the hell is Jack pinging my phone,â She groaned and opened her phone to her contacts. She tapped his name and began to FaceTime him.
âHattie, why arenât you home yet?â Jack question as soon as the call connected.
âJack, are you at my house?â Hattie thought she recognized that background of the call.
âI am, say hi to dad,â he angled his phone to his left and showed her dad seated next to him on the couch.
âI canât with you,â Hattie rubbed the bridge of her nose and sighed.
âCan I see my other best friend please?â Jack asked, referring to Trevor.
Hattie turned the camera to Trevor and Jackâs face immediately lit up, âHey, bud. Itâs nice to see you both have your clothes on,â Jack laughed, but was immediately met with a hard nudge from Hattieâs dad. âNot that there would be a reason for you to not have your clothes on of course,â Jack smiled at Hattieâs dad.
The three of them talked and laughed until Hattieâs parents made Jack go home so they could go to sleep. Jack hung up, leaving the two of them alone again.
âYou know itâs 2:30 in the morning?â Trevor looked at the girl beside him. He watched her nod her head, silently letting each other know they didnât want it to end.
They loaded everything back in the bronco, putting their shoes back on, and leaving the clearing. On the way home Trevor played laid back music. He attached his hand to hers once again and they rode back to Hattieâs house in a comfortable silence.
The drive seemed to go by too quickly, neither one wanting the night to be over, though Hattie might not admit to many people.
Trevor pulled into her driveway and got out to walk her to the door.
âThank you for finally saying yes,â Trevor smiled at her as he rubbed the back of his neck.
âWell, you exceeded my expectations by a long shot,â Hattie was looking everywhere except at the boy in front of her. From all of her previous first dates, this is the time when she would be kissed. She didnât know if Trevor got the memo though.
âOk well, see you tomorrow at Jackâs?â Trevor felt the awkwardness in the air. He couldnât decide whether he should kiss her right there or give her space. Would he be pushing his luck if he did it?
Hattie turned to the door, her hand landing on the handle, when Trevor tapped her on the shoulder.
She turned around, expecting him to want to say something else, but was met with his lips crashing onto hers. She was a little shocked as he didnât act like he was going to kiss her at first. It took a few seconds, but she finally closed her eyes and kissed him back.
It was a kiss that needed to happen. All of the tension that had built up throughout the years was let loose and whatever wall that Hattie had kept up was absolutely destroyed. The Trevor that she was kissing right now did not feel like the same Trevor that had drove her absolutely insane since she met him.
Trevor pulled away first, slowly putting distance between them until he looked into her eyes, wanting to see if there was anything left unsaid. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and turned to leave.
As Hattie got ready for bed, she found herself reliving the whole night. She hadnât had the much fun in a while. She needed that. Every thought that she had led back to the kiss, though. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect.
She took her makeup off, threw on a sweatshirt and some underwear, crawled into her bed and fell asleep with a smile on her face.
Trevor couldnât stop his brain from thinking that night. No matter how many melatonin he took, how many sheep he counted, he just couldnât shut his eyes. All he could think about was how soon he could take her out again.
***
Iâm seriously thinking about doing an au out of this. But thank you for reading! If you have any suggestions on what to do next please tell me!

Err on The Side of Awesome
(Not my gif)
Kol Mikaelson's Daughter Headcanons
Requested by: @katherinereilly19
Here lies my Masterlist
You were adopted by Kol and Davina Claire-Mikaelson at age six from a Catholic orphanage run by nuns who all thought you were some sort of demon child.
See, like your adopted father, you were a witch and had come into your power rather early. Davina had been sensing some odd power flares in the area and, when she and Kol had gone to investigate, there you were - a sweet, little bundle of mischief with more power than you knew what to do with.
To say that you had Kol wrapped around your little finger from the first second he saw you would be no exaggeration. Seriously.Â
Kol had never thought himself fit to be a husband, let alone a parent. It still baffles him some days that Davina agreed to marry him - most days in fact - it just seemed too good to be true. They traveled the world for a while and then⌠Well, Davina, sheâŚ
She said she wanted kids.
She didn't say that she used to want kids or that she would have wanted them had she married someone else. Davina said she wanted to be a mom. With him. She said she wanted to have a kid with him and she wanted Kol to be that kid's dad.
At first, he almost thought it was a joke. Who in their right mind would trust him with a child? But no, Davina was serious.Â
And it terrified him.
Kol is well aware of just how miserably his parents screwed up their job and he's pretty sure he couldn't do any worse but that doesn't mean he'd do well.
But the guy took just one look at you and he knew without a doubt that there was no alternative realm, no obscure future, and no minuscule probability in which he could cause you any harm.
For the first little while, you were convinced (thanks to the nuns) that you would have to be an absolute angel of a child in order to be wanted by your new parents. You helped clean things, refrain from using your magic, made your bed, brushed your teeth, and never asked for anything.
Three months in, you dropped a plate and broke down crying, begging Mr. and Mrs. Claire-Mikaelson (because you wouldn't dare call them mom and dad) not to send you back.
What began as your average Tuesday afternoon turned into a deeply formative experience when Kol sat you on his knee, looked you in the eyes, and said:
"Y/N, darling, I want you to listen to me very closely, alright? There is absolutely nothing on this earth you can do or say that will make your mother and I love you any less. There is no such thing as good enough - there is no bar you have to meet - only what you are. Now, a plate is infinitely replaceable, but you are our daughter and I will love you until the end of time. That makes you infinitely more valuable than a plate. Okay?"
"O-okay⌠dad?"
That was a day you never forgot as you grew older.Â
Speaking of growing, no matter how old you get, Kol can and will pick you up by the ankle and hold you upside down. It never gets old.
Also, piggy-back rides.
You did go through a phase where you were convinced there was a monster in your closet.
"Dad! There's a monster in my closet and it wants to eat my toes!"
"Really? Well, I must applaud the audacity."
There were quite a few nights you spent cuddled up between them as Davina braided your hair and Kol told you a story until you fell asleep.Â
Kol always refers to you and Davina as "his girls".
He's always willing to play with you, whether it be a game of tag or a complex drama plot with your dolls. (His personal favorite was when you decided to reenact the French Revolution in Barbie form.)
Daddy-Daughter Days are 100% a thing. The two of you are huge movie and arcade goers. Not to mention huge fantasy nerds. From Deltora Quest to Harry Potter to the freaking Wheel of Time - your fascination with the fantastical never fades as you grow. You never thought yourself too old to be read to at night, so Kol never stopped the tradition.
You're a little (a lot) spoiled. But not in a bad way. You're not ungrateful but let's just say you have quite a few pets.
Auntie Bex is always more than willing to babysit when your parents want some time to themselves. You remind her of Kol when he was a kid and she adores that.
Play-Dates with your cousin Hope mean quite a few headaches for your uncles Klaus and Elijah. Aunt Hayley thinks you're absolutely hilarious while Aunt Cami is convinced you're like 4 different varieties of insane. She might have a point there.
When you're old enough to be in school, you can always count on your parents to help you with your homework. You never would have made it through middle or high school without your dad, Kol is insanely good at math and chemistry. However, when it comes to anything to do with history or government, he passes the torch to Davina because even though he lived through it, he literally never paid enough attention to remember anything.
Parent-Teacher conferences are always interesting.Â
"Y/N is so intelligent. Truly a joy to have in class."
"Is she now?"
Neither of them buys it for a second. You have a mischievous streak a mile long, the teacher just doesn't know that you're the one putting tacks on her chair. Kol is honestly proud and Davina may try to be the voice of reason but she can't help laughing at just how alike father and daughter turned out to be.
Now, if Hope is "miraculously well adjusted" then you're probably something like a thirty-year-old in an eight-year-old body. You're like the most chill child perhaps ever. However, just like your father, your maturity level varies with the situation.
For example, Klaus once decided it would be a good idea to whip out the "You're not even a real Mikaelson" card at a family reunion. It wasn't long before Davina had thrown Klaus into a wall and Kol and Marcel were at each other's throats.Â
You honestly weren't even bothered. You knew your parents loved you and that was enough so you simply said:
"I'm sorry you feel that way."
And went back to eating your dinosaur chicken nuggets.
Marcel - apparently still a little touchy on that subject - was the last to sit down again. Little did he know just how proficient you had become with teleporting objects. Naturally, you were smirking when the whoopie cushion did its noble work.
Kol is terrified that he'll lose touch with you as you grow older.
This fear never comes to fruition.
The trust between you and your parents is something every other child ever would envy. They trust your judgment and, in turn, you trust the very few restrictions they put in place for you. It's crazy because they honestly never get mad. Like ever.
However, their disappointment is the worst thing you'll ever endure.Â
They told you not to go out one night because an old enemy of Klaus' was wandering around town. You went out anyway and you were attacked. Now, you were powerful enough to fight off your assailant and kill him, but you didn't come out of that fight unscathed. You had to limp home and tell your dad what had happened.Â
"Are you mad at me?"
"No. I've done much worse in my life, for much dumber reasons. To be mad at you would make me a hypocrite. I just know you're better than this - Y/N, you've shown me that you're better than this. I'm not angry with you. I'm just extraordinarily disappointed."
It happens only once and never again.
Growing up with those two for parents ensured that you quickly mastered your magic and became one of the most powerful and skilled witches of all time. But don't think for a second that you would ever be used. They would never allow that to happen.
As you reach middle and high school, a rumor begins going around that your dad is a vampire. You just snort really loud and make no further comment. It leaves everyone wondering.
First boyfriend?
Heaven help the poor sod.Â
"If you ever lay your hands on my daughter against her will, you will find that you no longer have hands. I will use the bones of them to fashion myself a new pen, with which I shall write your death certificate. Do I make myself clear?"
Once you're old enough, the basement becomes something of a witchy lab space.
Explosions are⌠frequent.
*Coughing* "Thank goodness your mother wasn't home for that one."
"Think again, Mikaelson."
"Oh shi-"
"Uh⌠Hi mom!"
You're probably the healthiest Mikaelson.
When the time comes for you to graduate, it's a hard dose of reality for Kol. He understands he has to let you live your life and he would never dream of taking that away as it was taken from him, but it's just hard.
You'll never stop being his little girl.

Mending a Family 11/?
Prev | Next
Jason and Jazz bond, and Dick has a sort-of revelation.
Jason sat by the table after saying goodbye to Roy, Raven, and Lian and putting Danny to bed. After the revelation of Marâi, the adults had sobered a little, and it had gotten awkward. Thankfully, the kids kept playing though Danny would side-eye Jason every once in a while. His knowing look reminded Jason that Danny was a sixteen-year-old trapped in the body of a five-year-old.
Jazz sat across from him with two cups of tea. She gave one to Jason and asked, âHow are you feeling?â
Jason frowned; how was he feeling? A part of him was disappointed, but he understood.
âJazz, when I came back, I killed people. I hurt Tim. It makes sense that Dick never told me he had a daughter. Iâm doing the same thing now with Danny! Besides, nobody in their right mind would let a murderer around their child.â
âJust because you understand and can rationalize it doesnât mean it doesnât hurt.â
Jason smiled softly at her, âWhat are you, my psychiatrist, now?â
âI donât have to be a psychiatrist to know this affected you more than you want to let on.â
Jason sighed, âI understand; really, I do. But what pisses me off is that Roy told me that Dick is obsessively looking for me. All of them are. How can they freeze me out of the family, not at least tell me, âHey Jason, youâre an uncle,â and then call me family and use that as an excuse to hunt me down like a rabid animal?â
Jazz sipped her tea, âI think theyâre probably feeling guilty now because they managed to chase you away. From what Iâve heard, they like to be in control.â
Jason snorted, âYeah, theyâre all control freaks that have no issue invading othersâ privacy. Starting with Daddy Bats.â
âDo you miss them,â she asked quietly.
âI do,â he answered in the same volume, âbut I burned those bridges long ago.â
They stayed in silence for a while.
âI hope Iâm not overstepping, but you have become my family. I see how you act around Danny, and I am grateful that you parent and love him the way a parent loves their child. Our parents werenât the best, so Iâm glad Danny will get a second chance at childhood, and itâs all thanks to you.â
Jason smiled, âWell, at least Iâm doing right by Danny.â
âYou thinkâyou think youâll ever talk to them again?â
âNot when thereâs a chance theyâll take Danny away from me. They see me as unstable, but I wonât ever hurt Danny. I donât know if Iâm a bad parent, but Danny has helped me more than Iâve helped him, and heâs keeping me sane.â
Jazz shrugged, âIâm not precisely sane myself, and as long as you donât verbally tell Danny heâs the only reason you feel your mental stability is better, then I see no harm in it. Itâs bad when a parent puts that pressure on their child. However, I have a feeling youâre saner than you think you are.â
Jazz finished her tea.
âBesides, you canât be judged by human standards.â
Jason rolled his eyes; he stopped explaining to Danny and Jazz that he was utterly, one hundred percent human.
âDo you really think Iâm a good parent?â
âYes,â she answered without hesitation.
Jason sighed, âI miss my old family sometimes.â
âYou want to talk about them?â
âI canât talk much about the newer members, but Dick, heâs my oldest brother; heâs huggy, a huge jokester. Thereâs always a pun or quip coming out of his mouth. He didnât; well, when I was younger, I thought he hated me. He was always yelling at Bruce, and most of the time, he ignored me, but eventually, he came around.â
âI remember one time he took me train surfing. It was so fun! I was hanging out with my older brother, my predecessor. He also stole Bruceâs car once and took me on a joyride after Bruce had grounded me.â
âThereâs also Barbie. She helped me a lot with homework when I was younger. Sheâsâsheâs also the only one that kept contact with me after all the shiâthings I did. You remind me of her. Sheâs kind, same as you. And you both have red hair. Sheâs crazy smart like you are. The things she can do with computers,â Jason shook his head in disbelief.
âThereâs Alfred. Heâs like a grandfather to me. He taught me how to cook; heâs the one I miss the most, to be honest. I wouldnât be surprised if he missed me, too, but he was giving me my space.â
Jason couldnât bring himself to talk about Bruce. The man had been his father, but he had both disappointed Jason and been disappointed by Jason.
His biggest failure, Jason thought bitterly.
âMom and dad,â Jazz started, took a deep breath, and continued, âMom and dad, when they werenât obsessed with their work, showed how much they cared for us in their way. Mom would make delicious fudge that got devoured quickly. Dad, he would call me his princess.â
âWeâd go camping every summer untilâuntil the portal opened. They had always been obsessed with ghosts, but they went into overdrive after the portal. They neglected us; Danny was being hurt. Eventually, it became too much, and Danny started detaching himself from everyone, including his friends, because he didnât want anyone hurt.â
âI miss them sometimes, but I can never forgive them for what they did. They find out about Danny, and the first thing they do is attack! How could they?!â
Jazz was breathing hard, âHow could they? They told us they loved us.â
Jazz started crying. Jason was stunned for a moment, and then he got up. He let Jazz cry on his shoulder.
Two broken people held on to each other. They may have lost an old family, but slowly, they would build a new one.
____
âDaddy!â
Dick opened his arms as his daughter flew into them. Kory floated right beside him and smiled softly at their three-year-old.
âThanks for letting her stay with me for the week,â Dick said, âI needed this.â
âMy pleasure. She wanted to see her daddy, anyway.â
Dick let Marâi down and watched as she ran to her room.
âHowâs the search going,â Kory asked.
Dickâs smile fell. They still hadnât found any trace of Jason. Alfred was telling them to leave Jason alone and that heâll contact them when he wants to. Roy stopped talking to Dick altogether, and Bruce was losing his mind.
âItâs not going well. Why, have you found anything?â
âNo, sorry, but I havenât been paying too much attention.â
âThatâs okay. Wally and Superman are looking for him. Weâll find him, eventually.â
Marâi decided to come out at that moment.
âDaddy, daddy, can we go see Grandpa Bruce,â she lisped, âand Uncles Timmy and Damian and aunties Cassie and Steph? Will Uncle Duke be there with the pretty lights?â
Dick felt a ping in his chest. His daughter hadnât mentioned Jason. She had never met him, and Dick couldnât help but feel guilty. Â Would Jason have stayed if the family had tried to integrate him more? Was it because of them that he left?
That bothered Dick, questions. He wanted, needed to know why Jason left instead of coming to them.
Because you shut the door, his mind supplied.
It was right.
