Fucking fantastic.

Based on your notifications, you put two and two together and realized you were paparazzi'd with none other than the man you hated the most. You and Lando had a very complicated relationship to say the least. You had met when your brother, Daniel, joined McLaren and from the start he had given you the cold shoulder. You didn't know what you did wrong and tried to be kind to him, but after a while you stopped when he dismissed you like a child. You thought you would get along with him after Danny had told you about his interest in photography. You yourself were a photographer and decided to take the year traveling with your brother to capture some photos in F1, but you had figured the fame was getting to Lando especially after his breakup with his girlfriend. He was starting to bring different girls to the garage in every race and you would never see them again after.

You remember your last interaction with him in the McLaren garage in the final race of the '22 season was when the complicated part of your relationship began.

"What are you doing here, y/n? This is a place for serious professionals, not hobbyists."

"Lando, always the charmer. I'm here to photograph greatness."

"Greatness? You wouldn't know greatness if it lapped you on the track."

"Well, I'm pretty sure greatness doesn't come with an ego the size of your car."

"Watch your tone, y/n. This is a dangerous place, not a playground for kids."

"I can handle myself, Lando. Unlike some people, I don't need a helmet to protect my head."

Both your eyes were filled with hatred as they interlocked, each refusing to back down. As the race begins, y/n continues to snap photos, capturing Lando's intense focus and determination.

After the race, both Lando and Daniel were disappointed they were not able to get into the podium on their last race of the season. Your brother asked for some time alone so you approached Lando, camera in hand, knowing it would be the last time you were in the same garage as him.

"Tough race, Lando. I got some incredible shots, though."

"Don't patronize me, y/n."

"You know for what it's worth, I saw a different side of you on the track this season. It's like you're fighting not just against other drivers, but against something within yourself.

"What are you talking about?"

"I may be the younger sister of your teammate, but I'm not blind. There's more to you than the arrogant facade you put on."

After that conversation, you began seeing Lando less and less considering your brother was now racing in AlphaTauri and you were hardly at the paddock anymore. The few times you did see Lando, the tension had shifted into something different. But it was now winter break and you and Lando were both back in Monaco.

You had gone out last night and you did not believe your luck when you saw Lando in the same club with a smirk on his face. Determined to show you could rise above the tension, you decided to lose herself in the pulsating rhythm of the music. As you moved to the beat, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning around, you found yourself face-to-face with none other than Lando.

"Surprised to see me, princess?" He looked at you with a mocking smile knowing the nickname would rile you up.

"Surprised to see you alone at a club and not wrapped up with some girl? Yes, actually."

"Didn't take you for the jealous type, I like it."

Against your better judgment, you found herself drawn into banter with him. The tension between you turned into a strange kind of chemistry as you exchanged barbs, each remark escalating in intensity. A few drinks were exchanged and you slowly began to lose your guard around him and eventually ending up on his bed that night.

You groaned at the memory of last night's mistake and decided it was best to text Lando back before anyone else to get your story straight. He quickly replied saying he was on his way and you began to straighten yourself up.

"You know usually when I hook up with a girl I don't see her the next morning. Consider yourself lucky y/n."

"Still arrogant as ever, even when we're both fucked right now."

"Well you're a little more fucked than I am really."

"Just get in here Lando." You opened the door to let him in and quickly shut it afraid you would be pictured together again.

"I've got good news for you sweetheart. My team has made a plan to sort this mess out."

"Go on with it. What is it?"

"Jeez feisty in the mornings, heh? But congratulations, you are officially my girlfriend, we've been dating for a few weeks now and have kept it under wraps to figure out our feelings for each other privately."

"A fake relationship? That's your solution? No fucking way."

Lando sighed and rolled his head back in annoyance. He knew you were immediately going to shut this idea down but he had planned what he was going to say beforehand and knew what to say to convince you.

"You think I want to do this? My team needs me to do this, I haven't exactly looked like a saint these past few weeks and hooking up with my friend's sister behind his back isn't going to make me look any better."

"And what's that got to do with me?"

"Well in case you haven't noticed, this doesn't look good on your part either princess. There's some hateful people on the internet already slut shaming you and saying you betrayed your brother. If we tell people we were already dating prior to these pictures, it lessens the hate. Not only that, are you really going to tell Danny you had a meaningless one night stand with one of his friends?"

You knew he had a point. Danny wasn't going to be happy if he found out about the brewing tension between you and Lando.

"Please y/n, the internet already likes us together. This would be good for us."

"Lando Norris saying please? Wow, never thought I'd see the day." You genuinely were shocked at his desperateness for you to agree, you didn't think about how this affected him as much it did you.

"Yeah, yeah. It's only for a few months then we could go back to pretending we dont exist to each other."

"Okay fine, just for a few months. And I'm doing this for Danny, not for you." You quickly agreed not really thinking it would be that big of a deal. Just a few posts and appearances together and this would be over before you knew it.

"I knew you'd give in." Lando gave you one of his infamous smirks and planted a kiss in the corner of your mouth. "Now come on we need some pictures to make this convincing."

And so it begins.

Prompt: "How do you feel about two at once?"

Pairing: Steve Murphy × GN!Reader × Clement Mansell.

Word Count: 503.

A/N: I never would've thought of putting these two together but here we go. Set in the Narcos universe with Clement and the reader having been brought into custody by Steve. (I figured you wanted the two of them together?)

In the interrogation room, the tension hangs heavy, like a storm cloud waiting to break. Steve Murphy, a seasoned DEA agent, sits across the table from you and Clement, the notorious criminal radiating a dangerous aura. Your partner in crime leans back in his chair with a devilish grin, seemingly unfazed by the situation. Steve leans forward, his voice firm.

"We've got evidence linking you to several murders in the area. You're lookin' at a long sentence unless you cooperate." Clement smirks, his gaze shifting to you. You shift, feeling the weight of the cuffs around your wrists.

"You hear that, darlin'? They think they've got us." He murmurs softly. You sit beside him, fingers tapping on the table nervously. Steve narrows his eyes, addressing you.

"Loyalty to him won't do a damn thing when he's locked up." He explains, trying to get you to talk. Clement chuckles, his attention still fixed on you, gaze grazing up and down your form with an appreciative look.

"Isn't loyalty a rare gem these days? And we've got plenty of it, Agent Murphy." He says, running his fingertips down the side of your face. Steve's patience wears thin and he directs his attention back to Clement.

"Cut the games, Mansell. We know you're a killer. You wanna rot in a cell?" He demands, taking a long drag off his cigarette. Clement leans in, his lips dangerously close to your ear.

"Baby, you believe in us, don't you?" He asks, voice low and deep. You feel a shiver down your spine as his breath grazes your skin.

"Course, I do, Clem." You reply and he smiles. Steve rubs his temples in frustration but his voice remains determined.

"We have witnesses willing to testify against you. It's only a matter of time." Clement's fingers trail along the edge of the table, his touch a subtle reassurance.

"Maybe it's time we showed him how committed we are." He breathes and your heart races as his words hang in the air, the intensity between you two palpable. Steve clears his throat, suddenly uncomfortable with the intimate atmosphere.

"You can't be doing..." In an audacious move, Clement captures your lips in a fierce kiss, throwing your arms around his neck, the chain of the handcuffs digging into the back of his neck deliciously. Steve falls silent, disbelief evident in his eyes as he watches the unexpected display. Clement finally pulls away, a smirk playing on his lips.

"What d'you say, Murphy? How'd you feel about two at once?" He asks and something in the agent's body aches. "C'mon, it's late. There's barely anyone in this building. No-one has to know." Steve's stern façade cracks, a mix of emotions swirling in his eyes. He clears his throat, regaining his composure.

"I'd never—" He starts but Clement chuckles, leaning back once more, seemingly undeterred.

"The offer stands. Think about it." As the tension continues to simmer in the room, a charged dynamic lingers. Maybe he could let it slide this one time?

I also kinda wanna answer some of these, if I can ^-^;; So I'm gonna go thru them

1- How does having a soulmate impact your legal standing?

I'm... not sure! I don't really understand the question, because I don't know what context "legal standing" is referring to. ^-^;; But I will say that in this world, if you're like, working in like, the police or something, you have to recuse yourself from any investigations/etc related to your soulmate if you know who they are. And also I am thinking that if you do go to the government and go "👉👈 We would like to register out soulmate bond with the Governments please" there are some extended rights regarding child custody and hospital visits, even if y'all aren't a married couple or even in a romantic relationship.

2- What if soulmates have the same fingerprints?

I think that is such a rare occurrence it's basically a non-situation for most of society, and usually only happens in cases of like, identical twins that are platonic soulmates. But I genuinely think "I met my soulmate bc we somehow had the same fingerprints and they committed a Crime that I got arrested for :/" is SUCH a funny idea and I would read the shit out of this

3- What happens if or when Len has a heart attack? would Barry just be able to feel it or would he have one too?

Personal talk, I would probably never write Snart or anyone having a heart attack I don't think bc of personal family things, so not a thing in my version of this AU.

General talk, they don't share a heart just hear the heartbeat (tho some people can also feel the pulsing in the vein on their neck, but that's rare), so he would feel the change and freak the fUCk out but he would not have a heart attack.

On the heartbeat topic tho, Snart DEFINITELY felt the change when Barry became a meta. Bc his heartbeat is so freaking fast naturally now. So let's just say his soulmate being a speedster was only not surprising, it was a lot less concerning than whatever he was trying to cook up as an explanation for what was happening pre-meta knowledge.

But I do think there are some myths and folklore abt a partner having a heart attack or their heart stopping bc their soulmate went thru that, so while it's not a thing that would actually happen, it's in a LOT of myths

4- What about platonic soulmate pairs that work together?

Okay I know this one was a lead in to talking about snipers and things, but I am using this as an opening to talk about platonic soulmate pairs.

Sibling soulmates are definitely common. They are very much seen in a platonic way, usually in a "the older was chosen by fate to look after the younger" way, and if they're twins it's like "even fate decided they should be by each other's side" kind of society thought process. And in school, you can sometimes switch classes to be with your sibling, instead of separated, if they are your soulmate.

Also it's seen as SUPER sweet for if two people with platonic soulmates get married, both of their "best person"/"person of honor" are their platonic soulmates

Also platonic soulmates walking their partners down the aisle at weddings

I am a big worldbuilding bitch. When I make soulmate AUs I have fully stopped thinking abt the main pairing, and have started working out the entire world and society and all of the soulmates every canon character I find compelling would have, or would not have, depending on the context of the AU and the character

So what I'm trying to say is that I started making a Coldflash AU where soulmates can hear each other's heartbeat and now I'm in a worldbuilding pit that I can't crawl out of

You started listing off all the offences Donna committed by treating her employee that way and mentioned the varying dehrees of charges that could be pressed against her. She backed off, apologizing when she found out that you were a lawyer. After getting out of the museum, Steven pulled you in close. "How did you do that? I know you're not a lawyer." "I spend half the day with Matt. I picked up on a few stuff." You winked.

Marc: You guys were coming back from a nice restaurant Marc had taken you to. It had been a long time since you guys got free time so the two of you tried to make the most out of it. You were wearing a beautiful dress Marc brought for you and were currently walking towards your apartment. A few rugged guys, clearly drunk of their ass were leaning against a wall. End of the Year Review!

This is my second time writing this because I CLOSED THE APP AND I DIDN'T SAVE.

1. What fandoms did you create for?

I only create for Hetalia. ✌️

2. How many works did you make this year? Fics (posted on ao3 or tumblr or wherever), edits, gifsets, moodboards, playlists, fanart, vids, meta?

From ao3, I wrote 7 oneshots and added a few chapters to my multichapter fic. I don't know if I wrote some stuff on Tumblr that I didn't publish on ao3. Jvvjchhc if yes, that's lost cause I don't tag it. Idk if we count the incorrect quotes from my other blog 👀

3. What are you most proud of?

Writing almost everyday for fruk week. I'm usually a slow writer and the fact the wrote a oneshot (sometimes they were longer) everyday, that's something I'm proud of. It did take a lot of me though.

4. Any stats you wanna tell us about?

Omg so my published multichapter fic on ao3 is around 24k words BUT on my Google doc, I have almost written 50k!!!! And I'm not done eeeee. A lot of it are messy and ideas. The end is written but not the middle. Svbdbd

5. What inspired you this year? Any specific works or creators?

I don't really get inspired by other creators. My friends, my feelings and my fruk brainrot inspires me.

6. What’s a piece you didn’t expect to make? Why?

Most of them weren't expected. I didn't expected to do fruk week at all. But also the lesbian fruk fic wasnt planned. I wrote it because my friend had troubles at work and i wanted to comfort her but I couldn't. :(

7. What are you excited to work on next year?

Omg I have so many wips and aus.

Last song: well at work where I am now I am constantly subjected to okayish mid 2000s pop that reminds me of middle school 😅 it's been a little while since I put on one of my own playlists but I do often play Tales of the Abyss's track "Happiness in My Hand" to help me fall asleep at night. If I were forced to listen to one song on loop for the rest of my life it'd be that one, it's so soothing I dont think I could get sick of it

Current book: I haven't read a proper Book TM in a while but I have been reading/rereading some excellent fan fics! Darkangelmya's Full Circle Graces fic still makes me cry ;_; I also read a few Yosuke/Teddie fics since that rare pair is on the brain lately, but since theres only like 20 fics on AO3 I think I'm gonna have to write the story I wanna read 😅

Currently watching: no new shows in a while, other than the One Piece live action I finished watching w my sister a while back (it was quite fun coming from someone who knew next to nothing about the series beforehand). But I did rewatch Akatsuki no Yona a few weeks ago (hence the shin-ah appreciation posting on my side blog) and I watch a lot of YouTube, like the archived streams of the Nyancave's Persona 4 playthrough. (I should really watch the p4 anime...)

Next on my watchlist: well there's some shows that have been there for ages like FMAB, MP100, and Steven Universe, but I will admit that let's play of Disgaea 3 looks intriguing pav 👀 if let's plays count as watching??

Current obsession: the answer to that changes on a daily basis if not hourly 😅 but I've been jumping between P4 due to almost completing it and a resurgence of brain rot for YoTed content, and Tales of Graces thanks to the aforementioned fic and also a drive to get my own long fic outline organized into a presentable form. I've made some progress on the actual writing too for once which is nice!!!

And if you need a summary of Me, I am a tiny individual (my name literally means small) who has not good parents and also lots of ocs (take a peek at #you have no name owo?) which have not been paying rent since 2017 but I love them all ^^. I like to make art, whatever format of the month it ends up being— whiteboard markers, pen, writing, digital, coloured pencil, crochet, graphite are some of the things my long time mutuals have witnessed~

But let’s start with the questions 😄

Current Book I'm Reading: It’s simultaneously Anne of Green Gables and The Memory Police. The former was me trying to broaden my horizons and do some leisurely reading, after all, it’s supposed to help with writing! Kinda taking some advice from this blog as well, which I follow~ I’m enjoying it, as a fan of rich descriptive whimsy. The latter is my novel for school next year— my school has an obsession with dystopian novels, what with The Giver (despised) and The Hunger Games (interesting experience) being past books I’ve done. I’m not far enough to have an opinion, but I’m intrigued!

Last song I listened to: Kimino Ginno Niwa, the ending theme of the Rebellion Movie for Madoka Magica. It has a very hopelessly cyclical and carnival-like rhythm that really resonates with one certain arc out of five of my OCs’ story. Which. Dolphin might be able to sus that out ;). Also shout out to the Cassette Beasts ost, because I streamed it last night to V ^^

Currently Watching: Things need to align in the astral plane for me to watch things ^^;. The last thing I watched was Noragami… in… June? lol

Next on my Watchlist: For reasons listed above, I don’t really have one. But one day I will watch Akatsuki no Yona and Fukigen na Mononokean, one day……

Current Obsession: 3 weeks ago I would have said Cassette Beasts and especially Eugene, but idk. My fondness for Persona 4 has been rekindled as well, but generally when my OCs/head children are on the front burner like this it means I’ve fallen out of a hyperfixation 😅. I’m kinda waiting until December rolls over so I have time to draw something properly, but what that will be I have yet to tell… emil from dotnw? naoto from p4? I wanna do BOTH but alas… I am a one-at-a-time kind of girl… otherwise the piece gets abandoned entirely ahaha. I’m very slow at everything I do which doesn’t help ^^;
