ITS TIME FOR EGGS

Ace gets really antsy for like a week and Marco is really confused but enjoying the show he’s getting every day from his new fish boyf. All the pretty colorful scales that are somehow even more vibrant then normal and the light show he gets to see every night now that he’s started to camp out on the beach. I am a prepper and holy shit is this post accurate, my god the kind of people who have never done anything like farming who think its easy because they kinda know some facts and not others, leading to a massive overstatement of their abilities.

For example they hear that farmers only work like 3 months out of the year, but thats not accurate. First off that stat often comes from mono croppers. the harvest and planting seasons for specific plants are often short but-

A: they use massive machines to do the planting and harvesting, no civilization means youre planting by hand, no civilization means no industrial fertilizer which means either you compost or plant 3 times as much BY HAND

B: monocrop farms have other things to do besides set it and forget it, they need silos, they do maintenance, they have business relations to conduct to sell their crops, what will you do when you get bugs eating all your crops?? What about a mass breakout of weeds? A blight?

C: unless you plan on eating nothing but wheat the rest of your life youve gotta learn how every single plant you wanna grow reacts to your environment and when to plant it. In my home state wheat grows through the winter but rice is only viable if you plant in june. Leafy greens need to be planted and harvested at all manner of different intervals, and in different soil conditions. Do you know how to test the ph? Or how much clay will kill your wheat?

D: weeding alone is a full time job, it took my sister and i a week to dig up a 3x5 patch of bushes to get rid if every single weed in a garden, which we then had to re-mulch and the damn things came back in a month, how are you gonna deweed 2 acres of different crops? No weedkiller anymore: society is dead remember?

Oh my god and composting, the smell alone would make these people rethink everything. They think the tiny compost bed some people keep for a flower garden is enough, my brother in christ youre going to need a mountain of dead organic matter of all kinds with worms and bugs mixed in and when its planting season YOU BY HAND will have to scoop that shit out (literally) and mix it with the soil JUUUUUUST RIGHT to make your plants grow, have fun with your infection if you fuck up: no society means no medicine or doctors, hope you like grinding salt into your wound.

Provided you even know how to find salt thats not in a grocery store

What about animal husbandry? No pharmacy means all vegan diet is out, at a minimum u need to know how to fish, do you? I do! Without modern fishing tackle! What about chickens? Do you own chickens now? Do you know how to breed them? Do you know how to feed them? Can you safely recover, store, and cook eggs that havent been sterilized by a factory?

Animals mean disease, and were back to the no doctors thing.

I dont have land, i have a six month supply of food as while i would like to have land and engage in some subsistence cause i grew up around farms and know what goes into it thats only with the assistance of society (and my sister)

What i have done to prep is get a six month supply of food and resources which i rotate out of my pantry, i know if the shit hits the fan to a civilization ending level i would be fucked in short order and i have no delusions of being the king of the ashes, i prepare for blackouts, hurricanes, riots, and tuesday. But the sickos who want the world to end so they can engage in their mad max/little house on the prairie fantasies are no better than evangelists who want the rapture to happen so they can go straight to heaven. Its sick to want that because in either revelations or mad max BILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL DIE A SLOW AND HORRIBLE DEATH and youre a sick fuck for wanting that to happen.

So for bacon, it depends. If it's in a sandwich, it has to be crispy. By itself, it can be either crispy or soft. Do you have a favorite type of bacon? I like either the thick cut or the maple wood flavor. When I have pancakes, I go with the thick cut, and it's cooked like half crispy half soft.

Yeaaaah I like having the extra crunch with the sandwiches. Sometimes, I even put it inside the sandwich then flatten it so it's not too thick. Then eat more chips on the side lol.

I love all three of the sandwiches you mentioned. Do you? Especially tuna sandwiches. I don't think I can ever get tired of it. When you have your fried egg sandwich, do you fry your egg all the way? Or still have some yolk that you can clean up with the bread butt? Hahaha sorry, I call it the bread butt but I meant like the final piece of the sandwich that doesn't have any egg...

i dont really eat the crust. some people called me weird that i dont like it. what's funny is now my daughter doesn't like the crust either. I guess it's because whenever i made toast for her i always cut the crust and because of that when her dad makes her toast or grilled cheese, she never eat the crust. depends on what we fish. Sometimes we use chunks of squid, sometimes we use life squids (which is messy because they squirt ink), sometimes we life sardines for the tuna fishing or other fish. For fly fishing for salmon we use fake bugs bait. For bass or fresh water fishing we use life worms.

Oh no we took it home.. n by the time it's done n on the way back to the shore the crew will help u cut n gutted the fish so u just bring home fillet of fish.

One time i caught 3 bluefin tuna which is a very good quality of tuna n it's always expensive if u get it in sushi place. My cousin's husband is a sushi chef, so i brought the whole 3 tunas n asked him to cut them in my apartment n he also brought home sushi rice n some sauces.. so we had sushi, sushi rolls n sashimi feast and i invited all my friends. Lol.

I usually cook any white fish i caught. Like red snapper, or the mahi mahi, rock fish.

it's honestly my dream to catch a fish and prepare & eat it myself like i am generally opposed to factory farming so I think when eating something you should have the awareness of if you would be willing to catch and kill it yourself bc i think it's much worse if you acknowledge that you feel cruelty was employed to bring this meal to you, but you don't care. I know farmers and people who hunt who have a personal relationship of some kind with their food and for some of them killing and eating something is sort of a sacred act, and I greatly respect those people. honestly I also respect the people who just don't believe that animal suffering is meaningful bc theyre acting in accordance with their own ethical beliefs.

so for me personally i would feel it was doing the right thing to act as a part of the food chain rather than a consumer. • coffee (6/10) i LOVE the taste of coffee and it stops cravings like a mf buttttttttttt i die, like i get this insane anxiety high even with decaf and can't sleep at night for shit, so i avoid it

• gum (6/10) not verry filling but kinda helps with sugary cravings... tho i spend like 10bucks a week to aford my gum addiction :,)

• ciggies (3/10) like coffee they stop cravings but i hate the stench and, bc my parents dont know i smoke, theyre not always an option, also mega expensive and anxiety inducting

• watermelon (5/10) rl low cal and mega sweeet the big oof is that they are only available in the summer (i dont buy fruits n veggies out of season) and i always eat too much .... and end up feeling like shit

• tea (1000000/10) amazing perfect stops cravings hidration makes me pee a lot full tummy but i still feel skinny just ~♡

• boiled eggs (7/10) delicious, can eat with anything make me feel full, too full, fat but most times theyre fine

• instant noddles (9/10) most of them are low cal (around 200~) and make an easy tasty meal when i dont have time to cook, my only thing is that they arent verry nutritious... like no vegies or protein etc...

• pickles (10000000000/10) SO low cal and tasty, i eat BOWLS OF THEM like jesus and that crunchhhhhhhhhhh i love vinagre chips so this is the perfect alternative

• caned fish in general (6/10) i rl like fish and i love that they usually have many flavours n spices but im a lil sus of caned food in general bc of how u preserve most of it but some can be rl low cal and a legit meal. That being said i constantly carry with me a can of sardines for no reason i just need it to feel safe, its a specific can.. ig im saving it for a special occasion????? Idk maybe ill just eat ut someday when i dont have money

• sushi (2/10) i feel like sushi calories dont count wich is a problem bc they do... obviously. I feel like me and cold food have thing uk??? And bc sushi is cold its ok it has fried onion

• Bubble tea (-3/10) another biggy mega caloric full of sugar but it makws me feel alive and again cold

• Heat up spring rolls n dumplings (7/10) again quick meal and usually pretty low cal depending on how you cook it but again i dont rl trust food i didnt made from scratch bc of the shit they put in ut like so it has a long shelf life etc

• Lettuce onions n tomatos (10/10) filling delicious can be paired with anything and mega nutricious, qlso salad is a socialy acceptable low cal meal that i will eat everyday if i need to

• Chickpeas (7/10) the BEANS food group is verry rich in nutrients expecially protein and bc i dont usualy eat meat (even tho im not vegetarian) it ls a gud source of much needed nutrition, its a lil high call tho but pairs rl gud with fish (i heard black beens are guud too)

• Tofu (6/10) great source of protein and verry versatile cookingwise my only downgreade is that the soy industry is pretty shitty and u always gotta work so hard to get a gud flavor out of ittttttt

due to popular demand, masterchef is hosting another team challenge with volleyball nerds

they had to pay gordon a bit more and ensure the freezer is available at all times in case he needs to hide

so we have team second-gen captains with shirabu, akaashi, yahaba, taketora, ennoshita, and futakuchi

then team first-years with goshiki, lev, koganegawa, hinata, tsukishima, and kindaichi

shirabu is back to win while akaashi had to be patted down to make sure he's not sneaking another rat in

team first years look very nervous except for probs tsukki and goshiki

hinata is always out of frame because all his team members are so tall

they give him a box to stand on while he's cooking and suddenly he's taller than kindaichi

when the time starts, team second-gen are off cooking like pros

Just as it was every night, the Stardrop Saloon was full of life this friday. The crackling of the fireplace mingled with the jaunty music coming from the jukebox, and the whole room was drenched in golden light. Easy conversation and quiet laughter floated lazily through the warm summer air. The entire room seemed to be filled with an aura of calm and happiness… except for one particular barstool. 

Shane swirled his glass, watching the foam atop his beer shift back and forth. It was almost empty. He looked up to wave for another round, but Gus was already there to take his mug and refill it. Shane nodded in acknowledgement and thanks as Gus set it back down on the bar. 

“What’s on your mind tonight, eh Buddy?” Gus smiled, drying his hands on a towel and crossing his arms as he awaited an answer.

Shane rolled his eyes and took a swig of his drink. “Nothing I feel like talking about,” he mumbled.

There was a knowing smile on Gus’s face- tinged with sympathy and sadness. “How’s Miss Jas?“ he attempted.

Shane cringed. A wave of feelings rushed over him that sent him back in for another sip. He used to know how Jas was… He was with her all the time when she was a baby- when her real parents were still around to do all the actual parenting. But as circumstances changed and they both got older it felt more and more impossible to connect with her. He didn’t know anything about how to be a dad. Even if he did have the time or energy on his days off from work to hang out with her, he had absolutely no idea what they could possibly do together at this point. What did girl children do? Jas had lots of dolls, and he saw her jumping rope some days… sometimes she and Marnie played ‘tea party’... If Jas had been a boy, then maybe then they could go fishing or throw the gridball around, But he couldn’t imagine any little girl wanting to play dress up with her gross older cousin just because 8 years ago someone put his name on a piece of paper saying “godfather.” 

“You should ask Marnie,” he said after a long moment.

Gus nodded. He looked at Shane. Then he leaned down, his elbows on the bar, and said quietly, “You’re doing a good job, Shane. You know that. Jas loves you-”

He was interrupted by a bitter laugh from Shane. “Yeah, sure. And a big man in the sky named Yoba makes all our choices for us too.”

Gus overlooked the latter part of Shane’s statement, as he was used to Shane’s flagrant disrespect of religion. “I mean it,” he pressed, “She tells me whenever I go to pick up eggs or milk from your Aunt that she wishes you were around more. She’s just a kid, Shane; none of the things you’re so insecure about matter to her. She just wants her father figure around.” 

He waited with bated breath for Shane’s response. He feared he might have been overstepping, but He’d seen Shane nearly every night for years. He knew more of Shane’s secrets and fears than Shane probably even remembered telling him. He knew Shane like family, and he knew Marnie and Jas just as well. He knew that if Shane was ever able to get out of his own head, things would start working themselves out because Shane was kind and smart and capable.

But things weren’t that easy, and currently Shane was staring daggers at Gus. Gus swallowed nervously with a sheepish grin. 

“No. Jas doesn’t know what’s best for her. I’d be a terrible influence if I was around more.” The disdain Shane felt for himself in that moment could likely be heard all the way from Zuzu City.

There was a long silence then. The jukebox still played- now Robin and Demetrius were there, dancing carefree. Shane clutched his drink and stared tensely into empty space while Gus looked sadly at him. He didn’t like being put under a microscope this way. He was about to stand up and leave when, once again, Gus anticipated his move and put a hand on his arm to stop him.

“Marnie believes in you, Shane. So do I.” He faltered for a moment before continuing, “So did Jas’ parents. And before you say anything, I know that they wouldn’t regret their choice one bit if they saw you all today. You’re a good guy, Shane. And Jas is lucky to have you.”

Shane didn’t know what to say. He just stared in shock at Gus before hurrying out of the Saloon.

The next day Gus spotted Shane teaching Jas to skip rocks on Cindersap Pond.

Hey csn u ask a stupid question how does one make an oc....i also want to take a break ftom su but i always get burnt out becausr i dont have any ocs already designed so i never do ov stuff...its like i only know how tp draw si since the basic gem desigbs are already done for me so i know if i like them befor i draw them...do you have any advice for making ocs?

Well as how I see it, an original character is one that is just not on any fandom, but your own thing. There are no real rules, since you're the one in control and can do whatever you want. My advice is for you to draw what you want. A girl on a coat who likes to catch fish? Sounds like an oc to me. A magical worm? Also sounds like an oc. A shapesifting egg? Go for it, anything can be!

There are fan characters (like gemsonas per examples) that are based on an already existing thing, so it's way easier to work with that. Sometimes when I no longer use a fan character, I turn them into an oc one with just changing the design and maybe story a bit to make it fit into what I'm doing.

The way I started making ocs was just designing characters for fun and making short stories with them while it slowly created it's on universe thanks to the characters and story-building. It can be more complicated than it sounds like tho

some of my Hot Tips for “i dont know how to be a person/im broke/i have depression and being alive is too much effort” food survival during bad brain times as ive discovered this past awful, awful year

theres a lot of things you can do with ramen noodles and im not exactly good at it or a person to ask about recipes but my favorite Ramen Hack is did you know you can just throw an egg in there. just crack an egg right into the pot and cook it in with the noodles. its delicious and has more protein and helps me to actually use up my eggs more 

arizona tea is cheap as hell and its a big can and you can’t put the lid back on a can/i dont want to leave a half-full open can around somewhere so that results in me actually finishing it. as a person who is TERRIBLE at keeping hydrated, this works very well for me 

dont trust the donald duck fruit juices at dollar tree by the way they are very cute but it tastes like terrible sugar water its made of lies (granted i only tried the fruit punch one, but) 

canned chicken is not bad actually! its pretty cheap, its easy to store, it lasts for ages so if you’re like me and forget about things constantly or can’t meal plan effectively and need things that dont expire too fast its a godsend for proteins. you can add it to things and instantly its slightly better and has more protein and feels more like actual person food. i even got some at dollar tree the other day and its also fine just smaller amounts of it. i dont have any input on the quality of canned tuna bc i absolutely cannot stand fish but that might be an option too 

get a bunch of frozen vegetable and add those to things too and now you’re At Least eating something that isnt peanut butter sandwiches for a week straight not that i would ever do that. who said that 

knorrs pasta/rice sides are cheap as shit and not bad either and its super fast/easy to make em so my go-to cheap/Depression food solution is to get those, put some canned chicken in there, add some frozen peas, Congratulation It’s Food i think dollar tree has these too

The bell above the door rang as you and Aaliyah entered the little restaurant. You took a quick glance around at the tables to find Karen and Manny sitting in the corner booth already. They were looking at the menus as if they weren’t memorized by all of you by now. You nudged Aaliyah and motioned to where her parents were. 

“What are you getting this time?” She asked as you both walked towards the booth.

“Probably the blueberry pancakes. I got the eggs last time.” You mused out loud. “Or should I get the mixed berry waffles? They both come with a good bit of berries on the side. No never mind, I’m getting the pancakes.”

“Glad I could help you make that decision.” Aaliyah chuckled as you scooted into the couch against the wall. “Hey mum, hey dad.”

“Hey girls, how was your morning?” Manny asked, eyes still on the menu.

"Pretty good, you know Saturday mornings are my favorite.” You grinned.

Aaliyah scoffed and rolled her eyes playfully. “Ugh, such a sweet talker.” 

Every Saturday morning, you had a breakfast date with Aaliyah and her parents. Sometimes Shawn was included, and other times, like today, he wasn’t. And every Saturday morning, without fail, Karen would guess exactly what you and Aaliyah were going to order.

“Alright Auntie Karen, hit me.” 

“Hmm, let’s see. Aaliyah’s going to get the... she’s going to get the turkey sandwich with extra hash browns.” You turned to Aaliyah who nodded, not fazed that her mom knew what she was going to order. “And the cup of strawberries for desert.”

“That doesn’t count, she gets it every time. Now me.”

“You... I think you’re going to get the mixed berry waffles.” You opened your mouth to correct her, but she cut you off. “No no, don’t tell me! You’re going to get the umm the blueberry pancakes! I’m right, aren’t I?”

“Every time! How do you do it?” You exclaimed.

Karen laughed and waved you off. “Magic, darling”

The waitress came and took the orders from Manny with a look on her face that said ‘I know these people, but I’m not sure where from’. Something you were quite used to when going out with the Mendes family. After she left, Aaliyah chatted with her mom while you chatted with Manny, recounting the events of the past week the others didn’t know about.

There was a lull in the conversation when Manny received an important email he had to check and Aaliyah took out her phone to text her boyfriend. Karen cleared her throat and looked over at you. “So we uh, we thought Shawn might be joining us this morning for breakfast. Considering your date went well last night?”

Suddenly, Manny’s email wasn’t important anymore and Aaliyah’s conversation with Jordan was put on hold and all eyes were on you.

“Uh yeah, it went really well actually.” You smiled, ears heating up at the memory of last night. “He said he wanted to head to his apartment today, wanted to write something in the studio thing he’s got there.”

Karen and Manny made eye contact and smiled. “Mm, not surprising.” Karen mumbled.

“No, not at all.” Manny replied, picking up his phone and returning to his email. 

You raised your eyebrows in question and turned to Aaliyah. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

She shrugged in response, “If you don’t know, I’m not going to tell you.”

You groaned and ran your hands through your hair. “I hate you guys and your secrets.”

The drive back to the house was mostly uneventful. Manny insisted he play his music, which you found hilarious and Aaliyah found embarrassing. 

Karen was dropped off at her office on the way to take her car back home. Aaliyah called shotgun as soon as her mom got out of the car, leaving you alone in the backseat. You decided to take advantaged of the situation and take up the whole back seat. 

You took out your phone and saw that Shawn had replied to your good morning text while you were at breakfast.

shawnie boy: morning

shawnie boy: are you guys done with breakfast?

you: yea, heading home rn

you: you still at your apartment?

shawnie boy: why? do you miss me already?

you: maybe..

You definitely missed him already.

shawnie boy: ur cute

shawnie boy: i came home, brian stopped by to raid my fridge so i brought him with me

You quickly changed his redundant contact name before replying.

you: hey brian, whats up?

Brian never really texted you, not to say that you didn’t talk. He was Shawn’s best friend and you were Aaliyah’s. All four of you were almost always at their house. You were all very much a part of each other’s childhoods growing up. But he just never texted you. If he ever had something to say to you, he would just wait until he saw you next. There was never anything urgent in your conversations. 

So you had no clue why he was texting you right now.

brian criagen: are you texting shawn rn?

brian criagen: like currently

you: yea?

brian craigen: dude hes smiling at his phone mad hard rn

you: does everyone know this is going on?

brian craigen: everyone’s known since forever y/n dont kid yourself

“Hey, is the air on back there?” Manny called to you in the back, looking at you through the rearview mirror.

“Yeah, it’s good.” You reassured him. 

He raised an eyebrow at you and turned it up a little more, regardless of your reply. “Are you sure? You’re face is really red, kid.”

“It’s because she’s texting Shawn.” Aaliyah teased in a sing-song voice.

“Am not!” Not fully a lie on your part.

“So she’s texting about Shawn. Same thing.”

Manny chuckled and shook his head at you and his daughter’s antics. 

When you got home, you saw Shawn’s car in the driveway. No one missed the way you perked up in your seat.

“Don’t get too excited.” Aaliyah smirked, fishing out her keys to the front door.

“Shut up.” You groaned and walked away from her and into the kitchen. You saw Brian on the couch and called out a ‘Hey, Brian’ in passing.

Shawn turned around as soon as he heard your voice. “Hey.” He smiled, cheeks the most adorable shade of pink and a steaming mug of what you knew was green mint tea in his hand. 

You hip checked him when you reached the counter and grabbed yourself a mug. Seeing his mug of tea made you want to make some of your favorite too.

“Hey.” You smiled. Shawn came to stand closer to you while you added some water to the kettle and pulled out a tea bag.

You hopped up on the counter as you waited for your water to boil. Shawn came to stand right in front of you and put his forearms on your shoulders. 

This wasn’t necessarily new, all the touching and close quarters, both of you always had a lack of needing personal space. At least around each other. But it felt new. He wasn’t your best friend’s brother who you secretly had a crush on anymore. But he wasn’t anything else at this point really. It was too early to tell.

Shawn leaned forward and pressed his forehead to yours. “What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” You hummed, a ghost of a smile on your lips.

Shawn raised his eyebrows, clearly enjoying the banter. “Oh, so we’re keeping secrets this early in our relationship?”

“Yup, I’m a tough cookie to crack. Can’t get me that easy.”

“I think I already know what’s got your mind working overtime.”

“I think you wanna know what we are.” Shawn’s tongue darted out to lick his lips. He really didn’t want to have gotten that wrong.

You bit your lips at his words, shocked at how easily he could read you. “Am I that easy to read?”

“A little bit.” Shawn shrugged. “But maybe it’s also because I’ve been thinking the same thing.”

“Then what are we? It’s only been one date. Or two.”

“But it’s also been a decade. I know you like the back of my hand. Not something most people can say after one or two dates.”

“You are incredibly right Mr. Mendes. Whatever shall we do? Simply be pliant in the hands of a higher power?”

“It seems we have but no choice.” Shawn giggled, bumping his nose against yours. 

“Mm, good. I don’t like making choices. Too much thinking is required.”

“Then let me do the thinking for you.” Shawn leaned in and pressed a chaste kiss to your lips. It wasn’t a needy kiss or an experimental kiss. It was just a kiss. Granted, it wasn’t a short one. It was like both of you were taking a crash course on what it’s like to feel loved by the other. Every kiss he gave you felt like it was waiting to happen since you first met. 

You didn’t know how long you were sat there on the counter, Shawn standing between your legs. You water had long finished boiling. The table that was clear when you first arrived was now fully set, courtesy of Aaliyah you presumed. 

Considering the fact that she was sitting right there.

“Uh, hi Liyah?” Shawn said, breaking the tension.

“Is this what I’m gonna have to deal with from now on?”

“Come on Aaliyah, we all knew this was gonna happen at one point.” Brian came up from behind her and patted her on the head, messing up her hair in the process. “I, for one, am glad the pining is over.”

“Oh, I’m definitely glad the pining is over.” Shawn smirked. “Cause now I can do this whenever I want.” He pulled you in for another kiss, completely disregarding his best friend and his sister being audience to the intimate moment.

Aaliyah balled up a napkin and threw at you and her brother. “I don’t really care, y’all know that. Just please, please, for the love of God, lock the door when you’re going at it!” Aaliyah laughed as she got up to set the food on the table.

i don't know if you've talked about this already, and don't feel pressured to talk about it now, (please delete this if its too uncomfortable!!) but how have you done recovery? im pretty sure i have disordered eating habits/thoughts/things, but i can't get help right now. what are some thoughts, actions and things that helped you? all the love. you are a light.

hi ive never talked about this before, so i might get a bit rambly,, its my bad habit :]

i am going to be honest with you, im doing this recovery thing all by myself, so im pretty much winging it. a couple therapists have helped but ive never gotten skinny enough for urgent care or inpaitent. one therapist has even reccomended for me to continue to lose weight before stopping at a healthy weight.

in autumn 2018 i was put on a medication with gaining weight as a side effect. I gained 30 lbs in 3 months and ever since then i have not been able to lose any weight- at all. Im 5'3 and around 145-150 lbs, depending. it ruined my already shakey mental health and i spiraled. it took a long time to come out of that hole. im still uncomfortable in my body and my body image hasnt improved considerably at all.

to be honest most days i dont even think im in recovery, i am just sick differently. i still count my calories and weigh myself obsessively. this blog is one thing that ive put a lot of myself into and following recovery accounts has helped.

what i try to do is first work on my mental health. im the best ive been since i was 14 and getting better has helped my journey on recovering. the next thing is hard for me to do, but every couple days i look at myself in a full body mirror and pick one thing about me to appreciate and maybe even love. for example, i love my legs because they help me walk and dance and skip and have mobility. then i try to think of one way to be thankful. i am thankful that i have good legs that can carry me wherever i go.

it's really hard and sometimes i cant do it, but it has helped me shape my thoughts around being kinder to myself. Thats another important thing- be kinder to yourself and your body. sometimes that means eating a piece of chocolate or a kitkat and telling urself that its fine and u deserve it. other times like when i just get out of the shower, i try to forgive myself for causing harm to my body. Try to forgive yourself. our bodies are a wonderful thing that gives us all life; please remember to be nice and caring to it. you wouldnt be mean to another persons body, would you? then why be mean to urself?? try to follow more ed recovery blogs for motivation to keep working on healing yourself, thats what i do.

i also allow myself to have snacks whenever i want, i eat usually 2 or 3 meals a day, with most of everything i eat being vegetables, fruits, rice, pasta, bread, eggs, almond milk, etc. But for my snacks i have cheez it's, peanuts, rice crackers, cookies, pies, chocolate animal cookies, etc. Allow urself to snack on whatever sounds good or that you have been craving!! i also eat a lot of frozen food like pizza, fish sticks, chicken nuggets, tater tots, fries, etc. i let myself have whatever i want and sounds good to my soul. i enjoy food a lot and its been a discovery what i like now, and to try everything i didnt let myself have before. but remember moderation, dont just binge on stuff!! it hurts ur tummy and its a health risk.

Oh and i try to love myself. i try not to be mean to myself or make snide comments, and im always trying to learn to love my body, even the parts that are major insecurities.

of course i reccomend getting professional help if you can, and as soon as possible when this virus is gone.

im sorry for being so rambly and not having a lot of tips or tricks for you :( im still making this up as i go, and these are just things that help me. it might not help much, but i hope it does help you.
