The lore in ffxv is pissing me off bc okay the Hunters Guild is apparently 150 years old? Protecting the 'outlands of Lucis'? BUT 150 YEARS AGO IS WHEN THE MAGICAL WALL WAS FIRST ERECTED. The wall that was not pulled back to exclude the Lucian outlands UNTIL 120 YEARS LATER.

The Hunters are a civilian militia protecting people from daemons. But the Wall stops daemons from being formed. Because it isn't until the wall is gone that Daemons begin to manifest in Insomnia. So why would the Hunters exist PRIOR TO KING MORS REMOVING PROTECTION FROM OUTER LUCIS.

Like are daemons only forming underground? Do daemons form underground in spite of the wall? Literally WHAT is going on here.

Do daemons form in spite of the wall just when it's convenient for the story because the implications to my understanding is that wall = no daemons
